Episode 64: Pika Family Reunion

Where we last left off, Sora has come home and Kairi has seen her new baby brother's bedroom with her own eyes. Sora was filling Daisy about his journey with Kairi. Also, he revealed that he's in a relationship with her.

"How wonderful, Sora. I knew you and Kairi were an item," Daisy said.

"Her mom did, too," Sora said. "The same thing with my aunt."

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"I'm very happy for you, Sora. You two make a wonderful couple," Daisy said. This made Sora smile as his front door opened. Sora saw Delia, Karen, and Mimey. Delia and Karen were happy to see Sora home again.

"Sora, you're home!" Delia beamed.

"Sora!" Karen exclaimed happily. She ran to her brother and hugged him. "Welcome home!"

"When did you get here, Sora?" Delia asked.

"Mime, Mime," Mimey said.

"A little while before you did," Sora said. "Surprise."

"And what a wonderful surprise, Sora. My baby boy's home!" Delia exclaimed happily. "By the way, Sora. Have you met the new neighbors yet?"

"Yeah, I met them; on the day of my journey," Sora said. Delia and Karen were confused.

A half hour later, the Ketchum family came to Kairi's new house to greet them as Delia is carrying a gelatin dish. Before they left, Sora sent his other Pokémon to Professor Oak's lab. Karen rings the doorbell, and it is Yuta answered the door with his wife and daughter standing in the front door. Just after they got back, Kairi has sent all of her other Pokémon to Professor Oak's lab, except for Togepi.

"Welcome, new neighbors," Yuta greeted.

"Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm Delia Ketchum, and you know my son, and this is my daughter Karen," Delia greeted.

"Nice to meet you," Karen said. "And it's good to see you again, Kairi."

"Hello, Karen, Mrs. Ketchum. And hello, Sora," Kairi said.

"Hey, Kairi," Sora greeted.

Pikachu and Angel nuzzle each other affectionately, expressing how they missed each other.

"Missed you so much, Pikachu." - Angel subtitle.

"Missed you too, Angel." - Pikachu subtitle.

"Would you like to come in?" Mirei asked.

"Thank you," Delia said. They entered the house.

"Sorry that it's quite a mess right now," Yuta said. "We'll get started to unpack later."

"It's quite alright," Delia said. "The Gustafsons were good people; and they valued family above all else."

"Same with us," Mirei said. "This house is perfect to raise a family." She placed her hand on her pregnant belly.

"I can understand," Delia said.

"I have to say, Sora is such a wonderful boy, Delia. You're a lucky woman to have a son like Sora," Mirei said.

"Thank you, Mirei," Delia said. "The same can be said about your daughter. She's very beautiful. So, you're lucky to have a beautiful daughter, and a baby on the way."

"Thank you," Mirei said.

The two families were getting along with each other, much to the couple's joy. It was going much better than they hoped for.

Not too far away, a quartet of Pikachu were watching them. One was large and muscular like Terra, while one being female since the heart-shaped end at the tail, has a trait as Aqua. There is another male Pikachu that has a scruff on top of the head. The fourth Pikachu is female and has a blue flower on her head.

They're currently searching for a particular Pikachu for the sake of the Pikachu with the blue flower.

"That's the one we're looking for." - Female Pikachu with the blue flower subtitle.

"The one Pikachu you've looking for all this time." - Male buffed Pikachu subtitle.

"How are you certain he's your brother?" - Male Pikachu with the scruffy hair.

"I am certain. I have never been so sure about anything in my whole life." - Female Pikachu with the blue flower subtitle.

"You were following them by their smell." - Female Pikachu subtitle.

The female Pikachu with the blue flower has been searching for Sora's Pikachu for quite some time. She found him one day, and then he was caught by Professor Oak, and brought to his lab. And we know what happened afterwards.

Over to Team Rocket, they float in their balloon, searching for Sora and Kairi.

"The twerps should be this way by now," Jessie said.

"You've kept saying that ever since we left HQ," James said.

"After that loud earful we got for our little food fight," Meowth said.

"I'm glad we didn't go deaf," James said, rubbing his ears.

"And not to mention, we got billed for the mess we made in the mess hall," Meowth said.

"I have a solution to get out of our debt quickly," Jessie said.

"And that's to capture Pikachu, right? I don't know about you, but I think we're way out of our element! Every time we try, we end up failing!" James said.

"And it's no wonder the grunts laughs at us," Meowth said.

"It's that kind of negative thinking that's keeping us down! We much to make up for to snatch Pikachu from the twerps!" Jessie said.

"Right," James and Meowth said.

"I still can't believe the boss up and abandoned the Gym like he did," Meowth said.

"Well, it was to avoid detection from the police, so what choice did he have?" James asked.

"Quit your blabbing and get cracking!" Jessie said.

"Right. We can't afford any screw-ups," Meowth said.

"Somehow, I doubt we'd get out of debt even if we do succeed in catching Pikachu," James said in his thoughts.

Back in Kairi's house, she shows Sora and Karen her brother's room.

"Well, how does it look?" Kairi asked.

"It looks adorable," Karen said.

"Your dad surely put his back into it," Sora said.

"He sure did. My dad did the same thing with my room when my mom was pregnant with me," Kairi said.

"You're so lucky to have a baby brother, Kairi. I would love to babysit him once he's born," Karen said.

"Only if mom and Kairi's parents are cool with it, Karen," Sora said.

"I'm cool with it," Kairi assured her boyfriend's sister. Karen smiled.

"I'm glad to have your blessing, Kairi," Karen said. She turned her eyes to her brother and grinned. She walked up to Sora and teasingly whispered, "I can see why you fell for her, Sora."

"Karen," Sora deadpanned.

"Don't Karen me, Sora. I know you and Kairi are a pair, remember?" Karen reminded Sora.

"Yeah, and mom already knows anyway," Sora said. Karen grinned even wider.

(Flashback)

We go right after she broke contact with Sora, and Delia is standing at her door. She turned to see her mother there.

"How much did you hear?" Karen asked.

"All of it, Karen. Is it true Sora and that girl are in a relationship?" Delia asked.

"Well, it doesn't count if you we're just standing there; and you were gonna find out anyway, so yes, it's true," Karen confirmed. Delia smiled.

"I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Ooh, he always could turn heads!" Delia squealed with joy. Karen chuckled to herself.

"Don't blame me for mom listening on in, Sora," Karen said under her breath.

(Flashback ends)

Sora, Kairi, and Karen checks out the baby toys and clothes. Kairi was gushing over how cute they looked.

"Oh my gosh, I can't get over how cute these are!" Kairi cooed. Sora smiled over Kairi is excited about having a baby brother.

"Seeing Kairi so happy is really cute. Kairi will make a really great mom when she has kids someday," Sora said. He began to imagine Kairi holding a baby version of Sora, feeding him a bottle. The baby wore blue footie pajamas. Sora snapped back in reality when Karen snapped her fingers. He looked right at her.

"Welcome back to reality, Romeo," Karen teased.

A little while later, they gather around to have some dinner in the kitchen. Kairi and her family were having their first dinner in their new house. Pikachu and Angel were having their own dinner and they nuzzles each other before they start eating. The Pokémon couple were unaware of the female Pikachu with the blue flower looking at the Pikachu inside the house. When he noticed her, she quickly ducked down. Pikachu was incredibly confused by her actions.

"Pika?" Pikachu asked.

After they had their dinner, Mirei has shown Delia and her kids some baby pictures of Kairi. Delia gushed and cooed at the various photos. Mirei wanted to see Sora and Karen's baby photos as soon as possible.

Later that night, the Ketchum family didn't come back home until late for Kairi and her family to head for bed. Sora and Kairi blew each other a kiss goodnight. Same with Pikachu and Angel. Pikachu was still thinking about the other Pikachu he saw before. He couldn't put his paw on it. Sora turned to his partner.

"Pikachu, you okay?" Sora asked. The Mouse Pokémon looked right at him. "You look like you're spacing out."

"Pikachu," Pikachu assured Sora was fine.

"I'll take your word for it, buddy. Let's get some sleep; we have a busy day to train tomorrow," Sora said.

"Chu," Pikachu agreed.

With that said, they got into bed together and slept soundly. The four Pikachu looked at the Ketchum house. They figured they would have to make their move soon.

In the next morning, Sora and Pikachu are still asleep when Mimey enters the room with the vacuum cleaner in hand.

"Mr. Mime," Mimey said.

Sora is dreaming of his happy life with Kairi. In Sora's dream, he wore a white tuxedo, while Kairi wore a white wedding dress. Pikachu wore the same colored tux as Angel wore a bridal veil. Sora and Kairi were close to kissing when the sound of a vacuum ruined the moment and Sora's face gets sucked in. In reality, Mimey placed the vacuum in Sora's face, yelping. Mimey gets the vacuum off his face and proceeds to vacuuming.

"Mimey, I told you to stop doing that!" Sora yelled.

"Mr. Mime, Mr. Mime," Mimey innocently said.

"You know, I did not miss your vacuum wake-up calls one bit after I left," Sora said.

"Mr. Mime," Mimey said.

"Sora, breakfast!" Delia called from downstairs.

"Coming," Sora called back. He and Pikachu got up and came downstairs to the kitchen to see Ventus, Terra, and Aqua sitting at the table, waiting for their breakfast. "Morning, guys."

"Morning, Sora," Ventus greeted.

"Sleep okay?" Aqua asked.

"I did, until Krusty the Clown woke me up in the usual matter," Sora said.

"Can't you just tell Mimey to stop doing that to you?" Terra asked.

"I tried, but Mimey only listens to my mom, because he's her Pokémon," Sora said.

"It's true. Mimey has always only listened to her," Ventus said. "But I always found it funny." He chuckled, making Sora scowl.

"Well, it's nice to know I have your support, cuz," Sora said. Ventus stuck his tongue out.

"I hope you're all hungry for a healthy and nutritious breakfast, everyone," Delia announced as she and Karen stepped out of the kitchen.

"Always, mom," Sora said.

"Thank you for the breakfast, Mrs. Ketchum," Aqua said.

"It all looks delicious," Terra said.

"Enjoy, kids," Delia said with everyone digging in. Pikachu is eating the Pokémon food Kairi has made in prior. The four wild Pikachu were watching from outside. Pikachu turned his, and the four other Pikachu vanished.

"Pi?" Pikachu asked.

"So, Sora. Since you have your eight Gym Badges, you plan on doing some hard training?" Delia asked.

"Yeah, I do. After everything I've been through, I wanna be ready for anything coming my way," Sora said. "Also, Kairi and her dad are going to help me train."

"How nice, Sora. When do you plan on doing it?" Delia asked.

"Right after breakfast," Sora said. "Ven, you wanna come along?"

"Yeah, I do," Ventus said.

"Why don't I tag along, boys? It feels like years since we were together," Karen said.

"I had a feeling you'd tag along rather if I wanted you to or not. We'll get set after breakfast," Sora said.

"Sora, you'll have to take a bath, and change into your clothes first," Delia said.

"Okay, mom," Sora said. He said in his thoughts, "That's one thing that hasn't changed."

After Sora finished his bath and changed his clothes, he, Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua stepped out and knocked on Kairi's door. Yuta stepped answered his door.

"Good morning, kids. I was about to get Kairi," Yuta said.

"That's great, sir," Sora said.

"Where is she now?" Ventus asked.

"In the upstairs bathroom, giving Togepi a bath, along with Angel. Thinking about it now, it reminds me of Kairi when she was a baby," Yuta said, chuckling and remembering the baby pictures Sora and Karen saw with their mother. Kairi, Angel, and Togepi came downstairs much to the delight of Sora. "And perfect timing."

"Sora. Good morning," Kairi greeted her boyfriend.

"Morning, Kairi. You look pretty as ever," Sora said. Kairi blushed at the compliment.

"Thank you," Kairi said. Yuta smiled, knowing Sora will make a great husband for Kairi one day. He had to slow down, because it was way too soon to think about it.

"Okay, I'm ready whenever you two are," Yuta said.

"We sure are," Sora and Kairi said at once. They look at each other. "Jinx!" Yuta, Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all laughed. Mirei came walking with a picnic basket.

"I made some snacks for you in case you get hungry," Mirei said.

"You always did think ahead, Mirei," Yuta said, taking the basket.

"I even some of those deviled eggs you liked so much," Mirei said.

"Oh, those deviled eggs always hits the spot," Yuta said. "Everything you make hits the spot with me, too."

"Oh, you're just saying that because you know that's I want to hear," Mirei said.

"You would say the same thing if I made the same thing," Yuta said.

The married couple looked at each other lovingly. Sora imagined his parents doing the same thing, just like their wedding pictures.

"You should go help Sora train for the Pokémon League," Mirei said.

"I'll be home by tonight," Yuta said.

"Don't take too long, dear," Mirei said.

They kiss each other and went with the kids to train for the upcoming Pokémon League tournament.

Sora has gotten Pidgeot, Dragonair, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Golem, Alakazam, Machamp, and Gengar from Professor Oak's lab.

Kairi has gotten Smoochum, Tangela, Ninetales, Rapidash, Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Sylveon, Glaceon, and Leafeon from Professor Oak's lab as well.

The group stepped out of Pallet Town, and they found a good spot to train. They weren't aware of the four wild Pikachu following them.

"This spot will do," Yuta said.

"Looks good enough for me," Sora said.

"Thought you'd agree, son. How about we have a practice battle for now?" Yuta asked.

"How do we go at this?" Sora asked. "Same as last time?"

"I was thinking of two-on-two this time," Yuta said.

"Alright, I'm game," Sora said.

"Thought so," Yuta said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "You're in first, Dragonite!" His Pokéball opened and revealed a draconic, bipedal Pokémon with light orange skin. It has large, grayish-green eyes and a round snout with small nostrils. A pair of long, thin antennae sprout from the top of its head with a small horn set between them. Its striated underbelly is cream-colored and extends from its neck to the tip of its long, tapering tail. It has thick arms and legs ending in three claws each. The leg joints are well defined, while its arms have a smooth, rounded appearance. The Pokémon's wings are small relative to its body with teal wing membranes. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned it.

Dragonite, the Dragon Pokémon

The evolved form of Dragonair

Type: Dragon/Flying

Dragonite is capable of circling the globe in just 16 hours. It is a kindhearted Pokémon that leads lost and foundering ships in a storm to the safety of land.

"A Dragonite, wow," Sora said. "There's only one Pokémon here that can hold a candle to that Dragonite." He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Dragonair!" Dragonair came out to battle.

"Sora is using Dragonair against Dragonite? What is he thinking?" Aqua asked.

"Isn't Dragonair at a disadvantage since he's against his evolved form?" Ventus asked.

"Yes, there's that, Ven; but you should also remember that Dragon-type Pokémon are weak against Dragon-type moves," Terra said.

"You mean like Ghost-type Pokémon are weak against Ghost-type moves?" Ventus asked.

"Exactly like that," Terra said.

"Okay, here's my first move! Dragonite! Use Dragon Dance!" Yuta ordered. Dragonite's body becomes surrounded in orange energy and it spins around several times, enhancing its attack power and speed. "Okay, Dragonite! Use Dragon Claw!" Dragonite came at Dragonair fast, and lands a hit.

"Dragonair! Use Dragon Rush!" Sora ordered. Dragonair rushed at Dragonite with Dragonite.

"Dodge and use Hurricane!" Yuta ordered. Dragonite flapped its wings at Dragonair, hitting him. "Use Dragon Claw!" Dragonite flew right at Dragonair.

"Dodge and use Dragon Rush!" Sora ordered. Dragonair dodged and tackled Dragonite on the spot. "Use Dragon Breath!" Dragonair fired Dragon Breath at Dragonite, paralyzing it. Yuta was impressed.

"Not bad, kiddo. You raised your Dragonair right. But will it be enough?" Yuta asked. "Dragonite! Use Dragon Claw!"

"Dragonair! Use Dragon Rush!" Sora ordered. Dragonair lands a hit on Dragonite. His evolved form was moving slowly due to its paralysis. "Use Dragon Breath!" Dragonair fired Dragon Breath, hitting Dragonite on the spot. The Dragon Pokémon fell on its back, beaten. Yuta walked over to his Dragonite.

"You okay, Dragonite?" Yuta asked. Dragonite made a sad sound.

"Don't sweat it. You did your best. As far as I can see, you'll always be a winner to me," Yuta said.

"Good work, Dragonair," Sora said. Dragonair beamed. He then started to evolve, much to everyone's awe. Dragonair has become a Dragonite, same as Yuta's. "You're a Dragonite now." Yuta's Dragonite walked over to Sora's newly evolved Dragonite and shook his claw. Sora's Dragonite smiled. They both called their Dragonite back inside.

"Okay, one more go," Yuta said.

"I'm ready when you are," Sora said. They were about to take out a Pokéball when smoke appeared all around them. "Now what?!" Kairi summoned her Keyblade.

"Wind!" Kairi shouted. Wind blew the smoke away. Team Rocket were blown in the wind, screaming. They land on their backs.

"Some idea, Jess!" Meowth exclaimed in annoyance.

"It was a brilliant idea! You two just didn't do it right!" Jessie hissed.

"Team Rocket!" Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all exclaimed.

"You're those people in the Pokémon Center! What do you want?" Yuta asked. Team Rocket got up on their feet.

"We want you to prepare for trouble," Jessie started.

"We also want you to make it double," James added.

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth! That's right!"

"Mime, Mime, Mime!" Mime Jr said.

"Ugh, do have to show up now?" Sora asked, annoyed.

"We'll do what we feel like to get hold of Pikachu, twerp," James said.

"When will you learn? The scoreboard between us is one-sided. Every time we go at it, you end up blasting off," Sora said.

"Not this time," Jessie said, taking out her two Pokéballs and threw them. "Arbok, Lickitung! Go!" Her Pokéballs opened and Arbok and Lickitung emerged from inside.

"Weezing, Victreebel! I choose you!" James called out. Weezing and Victreebel emerged from inside, and chomps on Meowth this time.

"You big, stupid weed! Don't bite on me, bite on his!" Meowth yelled.

"Usually, it's me Victreebel is biting me on my head!" James said.

Kairi took out her Pokéballs and threw them.

"Go! Smoochum, Tangela, Ninetales, Rapidash, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon!" Kairi called out. Her Pokémon all emerged from inside to battle against Team Rocket. Yuta took out a Great Ball and threw it.

"Tangrowth! Go!" Yuta called out. Tangrowth emerged from inside. Sora took out his Pokéballs and threw them.

"Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Dragonite, Pidgeot, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Golem, Alakazam, Gengar, Machamp! Go!" Sora called out.

"Didn't they have less than that?" James asked.

"Who cares? Go after them! Arbok! Use Crunch!" Jessie ordered. Arbok came at the group of Pokémon.

"Tangrowth! Use Power Whip!" Yuta ordered. Tangrowth smacked the Cobra Pokémon, sending him back.

"Lickitung! Use Lick!" Jessie ordered. Lickitung sends his tongue out to lick Tangrowth.

"Smoochum! Use Powder Snow!" Kairi ordered. Smoochum fired Powder Snow at Lickitung, freezing him. "Rapidash! Use High Horsepower!" Rapidash charged at Lickitung.

"Weezing! Use Double Hit now!" James ordered. Weezing gave Rapidash a couple of hits. "Use Sludge Wave!" Weezing unleashed Sludge Wave, covering Rapidash with sludge.

"Victreebel! Use Sleep Powder!" James ordered. Victreebel sprinkles a blue sparkling powder, making all of the Pokémon, except for Pikachu and Angel.

"Jessie, Pikachu is all opened!" Meowth called out.

"Arbok! Use Wrap on Pikachu!" Jessie ordered. Arbok wrapped his body all around Pikachu, making him yelp.

"Pikachu, no!" Sora called out.

"Angel! Help Pikachu!" Kairi called out. Angel rushed over to help Pikachu.

"Weezing! Stop that Eevee!" James ordered. Weezing rammed into Angel, stopping her cold.

"Angel!" Kairi gasped.

"Good work, Arbok," Jessie said.

"Give Pikachu back!" Karen demanded.

"Not going to happen!" Jessie taunted. "We got a Pikachu to deliver!"

"I'm not gonna let you do that!" Sora said, taking out his Poké Flute and starts playing it. All of the other Pokémon woke up when the flute is playing.

"James, make our cover!" Jessie said.

"Alakazam! Use Psychic!" Sora ordered. Alakazam uses Psychic on Weezing before James could give the order. Weezing couldn't move.

"Weezing! Use Smokescreen!" James ordered. Weezing was trying to, but he couldn't. "Do something!"

"Golem! Use Fire Punch!" Sora ordered. Golem came at Arbok and lands a fiery punch onto Arbok, making him loosen his grip. Pikachu gets away.

"No! Get Pikachu back now!" Jessie ordered. Arbok tried to get Pikachu back, but Machamp stopped him by giving him a punch. "Grrr!"

"What will it take for you to realize you're never going to get my Pikachu? You should just give up and just be smart! Leave Team Rocket, and forget about the whole thing!" Sora said.

"Leave Team Rocket? Is he serious?" James asked.

"No, we're not going to leave Team Rocket! We're staying in, to the end!" Jessie said.

"There's no point in trying to reason with you then," Sora said.

"Arbok! Poison Sting!" Jessie ordered. Arbok fired Poison Sting at the group of Pokémon, when streams of Thunderbolts blocked the attack. The four wild Pikachu stood in front of Sora's Pikachu.

"Where did they come from?" Terra asked.

"What's their deal?" James asked.

"Pika, Pika, Pikachu, Pikachu, chu, chu, Pika, Pika!" The female Pikachu with the blue flower said. Pikachu and Angel were shocked to hear what she just said.

"What did that Pikachu say?" James asked.

"That Pikachu just said she won't let us capture her brother," Meowth translated. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Yuta were just as shocked.

"Brother?" Sora asked.

"Isn't that sweet? A family reunion. Too bad it's going to be ruined. Arbok! Use Poison Sting!" Jessie ordered. Arbok fired Poison Sting at the four Pikachu. The four Pikachu dodged and and unleashed Thunderbolt, shocking the Cobra Pokémon on the spot. "Lickitung, get in there!" Lickitung tried to help out, but he ends up being shocked by the Pikachu's electric attacks. Sora's Pikachu joined in the fray and unleashed their combined attacks, shocking Team Rocket, resulting in an explosion.

"No fair, no fair, no fair!" Jessie yelled.

"Should have seen this coming," Meowth said.

"You and I are in agreement, Meowth," James said.

"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted. A star twinkles in the distance.

Not only after Team Rocket were dealt with, the female Pikachu with the blue flower embraces Sora's Pikachu, much to his shock with this bit if news. Sora walked up to his partner.

"Is what Meowth said true, Pikachu? Are you and that girl Pikachu brother and sister?" Sora asked.

"Pika," Pikachu nodded.

"Looks like you found some family at last," Sora said. Angel went up to the two Pikachu. They looked at the female Eevee.

"Anyway, I want to introduce you to Angel, she's my girlfriend." - Pikachu subtitle.

"It's good to meet you." - Angel subtitle.

"What do you think is going on?" Terra asked.

"Not a clue to be honest," Aqua said.

"But it was awesome of them to show up," Ventus said. The male Pikachu with the scruffy hair looked at Ventus and smiled. The two of them were starting to get along.

"I think they would like to join us for lunch," Yuta said.

"I think you're right, dad," Kairi said.

Everyone gathered around as everyone got set up for lunch to take a break from all the excitement. The Pikachu started to eat the Pokémon food Kairi has made for them. They instantly liked the food they were given.

"Those four are fitting in nicely," Terra said, looking at the bulky male Pikachu.

"They sure are," Aqua said, eyeing the other female Pikachu.

"I wonder if they could come with us," Ventus said. Terra and Aqua looked at him.

"Ven, you're not serious, are you? You're too young to have a Pokémon," Aqua pointed out.

"To battle, not as a pet," Ventus said.

"Ven has a point there," Karen said. "Pokémon are kept as pets, too."

"But only if your mom and dad says it's okay, Ven," Sora said. He looked at Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. "And I think you could use a Pokémon of your own, as a pet or to battle."

"Are you sure, Sora?" Aqua asked.

"I'm sure," Sora said. "I mean, I think Pikachu wants to get to know his new sister."

"I agree. If I had a long-lost sister, I would like to get to know her," Yuta said.

After they ate, they decided to head back home because of Team Rocket interrupting their training. As soon as they got home, Sora made contact with Ventus's parents.

"Sora, good to hear from you. How's your training coming along?" Danny asked.

"Fine, uncle Danny. But there's a reason we're calling," Sora said.

"What could you be calling about?" Cattleya asked.

"Well, there's a Pikachu we have here," Ventus said, pets the Pikachu on the head.

"I see. How adorable," Cattleya said.

"Pikachu," the Pikachu said.

"Is that right? I can see that Pikachu has taken a real shine to you," Cattleya said.

"So, I was wondering if it was okay for me to keep this Pikachu as a pet," Ventus said.

"A pet? Are sure you want to do that, son?" Danny asked.

"I do want to get to know him, and we like each other," Ventus said. "Sora, Kairi, Terra, and Aqua will teach me how to take care of him."

"If you're serious, Ventus, then I guess we can allow it," Danny said. Ventus's face lit up when he got the approval.

"That means, that Pikachu will be your responsibility from now on," Cattleya said.

"I'll take very good care of him. I promise," Ventus said.

"Are you going to give him a nickname?" Sora asked. Ventus looked at his new Pikachu and he smiled.

"I was thinking of calling him Sparky," Ventus said. The Pikachu liked the name given to him.

"Sparky is a fine name, Ventus," Danny said.

"And adorable," Cattleya added.

"I think Sparky likes it," Sora said.

"We'll be looking forward in meeting Sparky in person, Ventus. In the meantime, don't get in any trouble with your aunt or cousins," Danny said.

"I won't," Ventus said.

"Pika," Sparky said.

"We'll see you soon, Ventus," Cattleya said. "Goodby for now."

"You too," Ventus said.

"Love you," Ventus's parents said at once.

"Love you too," Ventus said as they hung up. Sora took out a Pokéball and handed it to his cousin. "A Pokéball?"

"To make it official. That way, everyone will know Sparky belongs to you," Sora saisaid.

"You mean, I have to catch Sparky?" Ventus asked.

"That's right. You can keep Sparky as a pet until you're old enough, and Sparky might end up being your partner," Sora said. Ventus smiled.

"Yeah, Sparky and I will be a great team!" Ventus said. He turned to Sparky. "How about it, Sparky? You ready?"

"Pika, Pika!" Sparky said. Ventus tossed the Pokéball up, and Sparky jumps and pressed the button. Sparky flows inside and stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Ventus then lets Sparky out.

"I figured you'd want to be out, just like Sora and Pikachu," Ventus said.

"Pika!" Sparky said, nuzzling Ventus, making him laugh.

Over to Karen and the female Pikachu with the blue flower in the living room and smiled.

"Hm, it looks like we both have something in common. We have brothers we both love so much," Karen said. "So, how about we keep it that way."

"Pika?" The female Pikachu with the blue flower asked.

"So, how about you and I become partners, and support our brothers? You and I can be a real team just like them," Karen said, holding out her hand. The female Pikachu looked at her and nodded. She took Karen by the hand. "Glad you're on board. I think I'll call you Blossom, out of account for the flower. Karen took out a Pokéball Sora has given her, and she uses it to catch Blossom. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Karen has gotten her first Pokémon.

"Pikachu," Blossom said, liking the name.

Beginning at this moment, the friendship of Karen and Blossom was forged. The same can be said with Terra and Aqua. The two Pikachu were getting to know them.

"Hm, you look like a Pikachu who would do anything to protect your friends, right?" Terra asked.

"Pika," the strongest Pikachu said.

"I can help you become stronger, if you let me. So, how about it?" Terra asked. He held out his hand. The Pikachu took Terra by the hand, forging a partnership between the two of them. "How do you like the name Thor?" The Pikachu looked at him. "Thor has power over thunder and lightning, and he swings his mighty hammer. And I thought it sounds appropriate for you." He thought about it for a moment, and decided to go with Thor. Aqua and the other female Pikachu looked at each other and smiled. Terra took out a Pokéball and held it in front of Thor. He pressed the button and flowed inside. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Terra then lets Thor out.

"You and I can accomplish so much together. I mean, I already feel we have a lot in common," Aqua said.

"Pika," the female Pikachu said.

"How about I call you Eclair?" Aqua asked. The female Pikachu beamed at the name, and accepted.

"Pika!" Eclair accepted.

"Then, here," Aqua said, holding out a Pokéball and held it in front of her. Eclair pressed it, and flows inside. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Aqua then lets Eclair out of her Pokéball.

And with that done, Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua each had their own partner. Time only knows how far these four will go with their new Pokémon friends.
