Episode 80: The Winds of New Beginnings
Before we begin, I thought I'd share that I plan on giving each protagonist a Keyblade. I would like to hear about a Keyblade design for Ethan, Kris, Lyra Brendan, May, Lucas, Dawn, Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa, Calem, Serena, Elio, Selene, Chase, Elaine, Victor, Gloria, Rei, Akari, and the protagonists for Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet, and maybe Leaf, too; but it has to match the Pokémon games exactly.
Shortly after leaving their home in Pallet Town, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi starts heading for the west. They walk pass the Indigo Plateau and heads for the Tohjo Falls.
"This is the Tohjo Falls," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"We'll have to get up there somehow," Kairi said.
"Eevee, vee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"I can help ya with that," a voice said. The couple turned to the source of the voice. They saw it was a man with a Gyarados by his side. This Gyarados has white whiskers.
"How can you help out?" Kairi asked.
"Well, for starters, you'll need a Pokémon that can use Waterfall to climb up this waterfall," the man said. "And lucky for you, my Gyarados knows that move." Sora and Kairi smiled and beamed.
"That works out great for us," Sora said.
"Thank you very much," Kairi said.
"You're both welcome. Now, get on my Gyarados's back whenever ready," the man said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi got on its back.
"We're ready to go!" Sora said.
"Okay, Gyarados! Waterfall!" The man ordered. Gyarados swims right up the waterfall. Gyarados swam to the other side and right down the falls. They got off of Gyarados's back once they reached the shore.
"Thanks for the help, Gyarados," Kairi said. Gyarados beamed and swam off back to its Trainer. "It was nice of that guy to have his Gyarados bring us here."
"Yeah. We're going to make the rest of the way to New Bark Town," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
As they walked through the forest, they knew they made it to the Johto region, and they felt close to New Park Town. As they kept on walking, they saw a blue light.
"Ee?" Angel asked, heading to the light.
"Pika?" Pikachu also asked. Togepi followed the Pokémon couple.
"Pikachu, where are you going?" Sora asked.
"Angel, Togepi, don't wonder off!" Kairi said.
The couple followed them to the source of the light. They came through the tall grass and saw a Suicune standing on a rock in the middle of a pond.
"It's Suicine," Sora said.
"It's beautiful," Kairi said with awe.
Suicune turned and saw them. Suicune leapt off the rock and disappeared completely out of sight. They were completely awestruck by what they saw.
A few minutes later, they were going close to New Bark Town when several Dusks appeared around them.
"Pika?!" Pikachu exclaimed.
"What are they?" Sora asked.
"They might be Heartless!" Kairi said. Sora looked at the symbol on the Dusks. He knew it didn't looked right.
"That's the Heartless's symbol!" Sora said. He summoned his Keyblade as did Kairi. They engaged the Nobodies attacking them. They slithered behind them and lands a hit onto them. There were Creepers that appeared as well. The Creepers took the forms of swords, so Kairi slashed through the Nobodies, bursting in white energy. Kairi took down some of the Nobodies, protecting her boyfriend, but they end up being overpowered. The Nobodies jumped around, preparing to make the kill. Sora and Kairi held each other.
Unknown to them, the same Suicune appeared and fired an Ice Beam at them. The Nobodies were frozen solid, so Suicune then unleashed Hydro Pump, shattering the frozen creatures into pieces. They turned and saw Suicune behind them. Suicune then mysteriously disappeared in the forest.
"Sora, are you okay?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, Kairi. How about you?" Sora asked.
"I'm okay. I was worried about you, Sora," Kairi said.
"I know. But the thing is, those weren't Heartless," Sora said.
"How do you know that?" Kairi asked.
"The symbol. That wasn't a Hearess symbol," Sora said. "And I think we're going to see them again, whatever they are," Sora said.
"You're right, we going to rather if we want to or not," Kairi said.
A little while later, the couple have finally arrived in New Bark Town. They looked right down to the town and came down to the town.
Meanwhile, in the World That Never Was, 12 out of 13 members of Organization XIII were having a secret meeting. They were watching the fight Sora and Kairi had with their Nobodies. They all had their hoods down.
One of them is a broad-shouldered man whose black hair is styled into distinctive dreadlocks that flair dramatically when he manipulates the wind. One of these dreads is used to tie most of the others into a sort of ponytail, while four thinner dreads dangle in front of his face (two on each side). He also has bushy eyebrows and very thick sideburns, the latter of which hook around his cheeks, parallel to his violet eyes. He also has stretched earlobes, and wears hollow plugs with captive hoops within that run around his earlobes.
Another man dirty blond hair, worn long with two slightly shorter bangs that frame his face. He also has rather large, bright green eyes.
Another man is the largest member of Organization XIII in terms of broadness. He has very angular and strong features, with a square chin, straight nose, and sharp cheekbones. He has blue eyes and somewhat small eyebrows. His hair is ginger and slicked back into messy spikes.
Another man physically appears to be among the younger members, and is certainly one of the smallest in stature. He has bright aqua colored eyes, though only his left one is clearly visible, the right one being covered by his long, layered bangs.
Another has cyan eyes and dirty-blond hair, the latter of which is quite distinctive due to its shape. His hair has an odd mullet-like style, and he has several individual bangs that fall over his face. He is rather youthful in appearance when compared to many of the other members.
Another man has platinum-blond hair is very short and worn in a Caesar cut, and he has electric-blue eyes. He is also the only member of Organization XIII to have a beard or mustache, his being a goatee and the same blond color as his hair.
Another is tall, elegant man whose rose pink hair is shoulder-length and rose pink with ruffles, His eyes are blue and his lips are pale pink.
Another is the only female member of the Organization. Her bright, blonde hair is slicked back and about jaw-length, with two long strands styled into distinctive antennae-like strands. Her eyes are cyan and she is very slim with an hourglass figure.
"Do my eyes deceive me? Do they really have the power to wield the Keyblade. They're nothing but a couple of children," the man with long black hair said.
"I agree with Xaldin. I am not even convinced that they're even worth coddling," the dirty blonde haired man said. Xigbar chuckled.
"Give them a chance. It means they're both straight as arrows," Xigbar said, pointing ahead. "They're pure of heart, unlike all of us here."
"They'd better be, or else they're worthless," Saïx said.
"I truly hope they're enjoying themselves on their adventure," the bearded man said. The man laughs softly, pulling out a deck of cards from his sleeve and choosing one, holding it between two fingers. "Maybe they'd like a hand to determine their fates."
"Would that be a roll of the dice or a good hand for your part, Luxord?" The largest member asked.
"You know me, Lexaeus. I like a challenge when it comes with a wager," Luxord said.
"Why are we even looking into them? We should just finish them off now!" The woman said.
"No, Larxene," Axel spoke up. "I think we should keep them around for a little while longer. I mean, just so we can know what we can be up against."
"If I didn't know better, Axel, but I swear you have a soft spot for them," the pink hair man said.
"Not even close, Marluxia," Axel scoffed.
"Regardless if Axel has a soft spot or not, I agree with his proposal. It's possible that he can have powers that he is not aware of," the man with the bangs covering his eye said.
"If what you say is certain, Zexion, we don't know if he has it or not. But it is worth a huge deal of research," the dirty blonde haired man said. Larxene scoffs.
"Same old Vexen. You're just using this as an excuse just for your experiments," Larxene said.
"I'm a scientist. Experiments is what I do best," Vexen said. "And my experiment is nearly completed, and I simply cannot wait to give it a test."
"Now that Sora and Kairi are in the Johto region, they will be catching some of the local Pokémon that live there, so it will be even more difficult to deal with them," Marluxia said.
"You think those little stuffed animals of theirs would be a threat of us? They wouldn't scare off a pair of bunny slippers," Larxene scoffed.
"I wouldn't be so sure," Axel said. "They pack quite a wallop. I've seen it for myself."
"Whatever," Larxene scoffed.
"All the same, we should plan our move carefully. We should allow the Nobodies and the Heartless to deal with them for now," Zexion proposed.
"Hey, as long as it works in our favor! We can let them do what they want for now. Then we'll all jump in if needed!" The short haired man said. Xigbar laughed.
"Those are bold words coming from you, Demyx. Are you saying you'll volunteer to take care of it if things go wrong?" Xigbar said.
Demyx abruptly sits up in his chair.
"Huh? What?! Me?! No, you have the wrong guy... I'm not comfortable with that," Demyx said. He waves his arms and shrinks back down.
"You act as though you have a conscience... When was the last time any one of us felt anything?" Xaldin pointed out.
"Truer words were never spoken," Luxord agreed. He makes his card vanish into his hand "Well, I suppose, the fun will have to wait."
"Do you know what happens to those who lose their true purpose? Inevitably, they destroy themselves," Saïx said.
"My friends," Xemnas finally spoke. They all look in toward the leader. "The heroes of the Keyblade has embarked on a new adventure. Make sure it is one they will remember. Now, go."
The Organization members all vanished in the corridors of darkness.
Back in New Bark Town Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi have just arrived and they head for the local Pokémon Center to rest up their Pokémon, register to compete in the Johto Pokémon League, and to get directions to Professor Elm's lab. Nurse Joy before the counter.
"Welcome to the New Bark Town Pokémon Center. How may I help you?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Well, three things. One, we would like you to have a look at our Pokémon for a bit," Sora said. "Two, I would like to register in the Johto Pokémon League."
"And third, we would like to know how to get to Professor Elm's lab," Kairi said.
"Of course," Nurse Joy replied. "I would like to have a look at your Pokémon please." Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi over to Nurse Joy and gave them to her Chansey. "Will you see to it that those three are given the best care?"
"Chansey," Chansey said, taking Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi to the back to be checked on.
"Now, as for the Johto Pokémon League, are you both going to be registering?" Nurse Joy asked.
"No, just me," Sora said.
"Very well," Nurse Joy said. "Will you hand me your Pokédex, please?"
"Sure," Sora said, handing the nurse his Pokédex. Sora's mugshot is displayed. "Let's see, it says you're from Pallet Town in Kanto. I take it this is your first time in the Johto region?"
"Yeah," Sora replied. He didn't wait long as the registration was now complete.
"There. You are now registered to enter in the Johto Pokémon League," Nurse Joy said, handing Sora back his Pokédex. Chansey comes back with Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi from the back.
"Chansey," Chansey said.
"Your Pokémon are all perfectly healthy," Nurse Joy said. Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi returned to their Trainers.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy," Kairi said.
"Now, you said you want directions to Professor Elm's lab, correct?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Yeah. We were told to meet up with him as soon as we arrive in the Johto region," Sora said.
"I understand," Nurse Joy said. She gave the couple directions to Professor Elm's lab. Once they got the information they needed, they stepped out.
In a house, a young boy with fair skin and black hair has just finished changing into his new clothes. He wore a red hoodie with a collar, black shorts, red and white sneakers, and a gray satchel. He wore a black cap with a mustard yellow portion backwards.
"Today's the day. Today's I get my very first Pokémon from Professor Elm and begin my journey," the boy said. He stepped downstairs and he saw his mother downstairs. She turned and she smiled.
"Ethan, you're finally awake. I was about to wake you up for breakfast," Ethan's mother said.
"No time, mom! I gotta go and pick up my first Pokémon from Professor Elm," Ethan said.
"Even future Pokémon Trainers need to eat, too, Ethan," Ethan's mother said.
"I'll have some when I get back!" Ethan said, getting out.
"Ethan!" Ethan's mother said. Ethan didn't answer and he rushed out, slamming the door. "That son of mine. Always on the move."
Ethan is running down the streets of New Bark right down to Professor Elm's lab. He ran pass a slender young man with crimson red hair, pale skin, and dark eyes. He wore a high-collared navy coat with red trim, dark violet pants, a black belt around his waist, and navy shoes with red trim that match the colors of his coat. He gave off a scowl. He takes off. He walked down the streets of New Bark Town and he bumps into Sora as he and his girlfriend.
"Sorry about that Didn't see you th-" Sora apologized as the young man grabbed Sora by the collar.
"Watch where you're going, you spiky-haired runt!" The boy snapped at him before pushing him down to the ground.
"Sora!" Kairi gasped.
"Hey!" Sora yelled as he fell to the ground. "Excuse you!" Kairi helped him up as the rude boy just kept going. "What's his problem?"
"Forget him, Sora. He's not worth it," Kairi said.
"You're right. But for the record, he's a jerk," Sora said.
He stormed through the town with his eyes filled with a hateful glare. His breathing was heavily due to his anger.
"I hate the weak. That applies to everyone! It doesn't matter who or what. I will have Pokémon that are strong! Not like my own father," the boy said.
(Flashback,)
It was a short time after Giovanni stepped down as Gym Leader of the Viridian City Gym.
Giovanni walks down the streets and the boy, the son of the Team Rocket boss get into a heated argument about him being away from his family for so long.
"I just don't get you, father! You never had any time for me! How long did mom get tired of it and just leave you all together?!" Giovanni's son yelled. "And to top it off, you're letting some kid run the Gym! Why father? Tell me why!"
"It is in order to secure a tight organization," Giovanni said. "The loss of the Gym is not going to derail my ambitions."
"What ambitions?!" Giovanni's son yelled.
"The ambitions to have the world beneath my heel. The world will belong to Rocket to rule," Giovanni said.
"I don't care about that! I don't care about the world! I don't care if you are the boss of Team Rocket! I only wanted someone to be there for me! I wanted it to be like when mom was living here! But, you had to put Team Rocket before your family!" Giovanni's son yelled.
"Life isn't always fair! I learned that the hard way when my mother was the boss of Team Rocket; and I hope one day, Silver, you would learn that, too," Giovanni said. Silver growled.
"You don't care about me at all! All you care about is running your little organization! You were never there for me at all! You weren't present on any of my birthdays or any of the Christmases from every year! And the reason is you left the Gym to some kid is because you're weak! I don't want anything to do you or any of your affairs!" Silver yelled as he ran off.
Giovanni just stood there and watched his son leave. He did and said nothing to stop him.
(Present day)
Silver strolls down the streets of New Bark Town, still angered by the memory. Silver looked into a nearby window and looked at himself in the reflection.
"On the day I cut ties with my old man, I vowed to get stronger. And I vowed to do that on my own," Silver said in his thoughts. "But there was one thing my old man was right about. Life isn't always fair. But, I will not become anything like you! And if your flunkies from Team Rocket get in my way, then I'll crush them just like I'll do to anyone who crosses me!"
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi arrived to Professor Elm's lab. They approached the door and knocked on the door. Then a middle-aged man stepped out. He has short brown hair and gray eyes. He wore a pair of glasses, as well as a white lab coat with two pockets and a collared teal shirt. He wore a dark brown belt around his waist. He also wore brown pants with a black belt and brown shoes.
"May I help you?" The man asked.
"We're here to meet up with Professor Elm," Kairi said.
"I'm Professor Elm. I'm going assume that you're Sora and Kairi. Professor Oak told me you were coming," Professor Elm said. "Come on in." He leads the couple inside, but the door opened, making them turn around.
"Professor Elm, I'm here!" Ethan said, stepping inside.
"Oh, Ethan. Perfect timing," Professor Elm said. Ethan saw Sora and Kairi and he smiled.
"Hey, I know you! You're Sora, the guy who won the Indigo Plateau Pokémon League!" Ethan said. "My name's Ethan."
"Nice to meet you, Ethan. I'm Sora, but you already know that," Sora said. "And this is my girlfriend Kairi."
"Hello," Kairi greeted.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"You're here to pick up your first Pokémon Ethan?" Sora asked.
"Yeah. I came here to pick up my first Pokémon," Ethan said.
"I happen to have them ready for you," Professor Elm said. He leads the kids further inside and he took out a Pokéball. He opens one and out came is a small, pale-green, quadrupedal Pokémon with dark-green buds around its neck. Its head is large in proportion to the rest of its body, and it has big red eyes. It has four short legs with a single nailed toe on each and a stubby tail. On top of its head is a large, green leaf that is usually longer than its body. "This is Chikorita, a Grass-type Pokémon."
"Oh my gosh, so cute!" Kairi cooed. Professor Elm took out another Pokéball and opened it. Out came a small, bipedal Pokémon with bluish fur on top of its body and cream-colored fur on its underside. Its eyes are usually seen closed, and it has a long, thin snout. Its arms are short, but its legs are slightly more developed and have a single nail on each foot. On its back are four red circles.
"This is Cyndaquil, a Fire-type," Professor Elm said.
"A Fire-type, huh? So cool," Sora said.
"Well, here is the third one," Professor Elm said, taking out a Pokéball and opened it. Out came a bipedal, crocodilian Pokémon with well-developed jaws. It has red eyes with ridges above them, black markings around its eyes, and several sharp teeth. On its chest is a yellow, V-shaped marking that extends to its arms; there is a thin line through the center of the marking. It has five fingers and three toes. Down its back is a row of three red spines with a small, red ridge on either side. The tip of its tail has a single red spine as well. "And this is Totodile, a Water-type."
"Oh, all three of them are so cute!" Kairi cooed.
"Just like in Pallet Town. Grass, Fire, and Water-types. Must be like that in every region there is," Sora said.
"That's right, Sora. Like Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander in Kanto, beginning Pokémon Trainers in the Johto region chooses either a Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile as their partners," Professor Elm said. "So, Ethan, which one of these three will you choose?"
Ethan looked through the three Pokémon and he made up his mind at last, picking up Cyndaquil.
"I'm chossing Cyndaquil as my first Pokémon," Ethan said.
"Quil," Cyndaquil said. He places Cyndaquil on the floor. Pikachu and Angel walked up to Cyndaquil and greeted. it.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee, vee!" Angel said.
"It looks like Cyndaquil likes its new friends," Professor Elm said.
"Yeah?" Ethan asked.
"I know so," Professor Elm said. He took out a Pokédex similar to the ones Professor Oak handed to Sora and Kairi. "Here is a Pokédex to help you identify any Pokémon that you have come across, and here are Pokéballs to contain a wild Pokémon." Ethan takes his new Pokéballs and Pokédex.
"Thanks, professor," Ethan said.
Just then, a slim and fit young girl with pretty, feminine eyes, fair skin, and spiky hair tied in low bunches behind her ears. Clothing-wise, She a sporty, tomboyish outfit that consists of a yellow seamed-cap, a white jacket with red stripes on the cuffs, a crimson turtleneck sweater, yellow and black bike Lycra skinny-fit shorts, and red and white high-top shoes with black stripes. Ethan blushes when she walked in.
"Hello, Ethan. Your mom told me I'd find you here," the girl said.
"Hey, Kris," Ethan greeted. Sora and Kairi quickly noticed there was something between the two of them. She spots the couple.
"Oh, hi! My name's Kris. Who are you?" Kris asked.
"I'm Sora," Sora introduced himself. "And this is my Pikachu."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I'm Kairi, this is Angel, and this is Togepi," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped. Kris looked at the three Pokémon and started to coo.
"Oh, they're so cute. And Angel is really cute with that pink bow," Kris said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"It's nice to meet you," Kris said.
"So, Kris, which Pokémon will you choose as your partner?" Professor Elm asked. She looked at Chikorita and Totodile, but her eyes met up with Totodile's and she felt a strong connection with it.
"I'll choose Totodile. And I'll call him, Wani-Wani," Kris said.
"Dile," Totodile said.
"Wani-Wani sounds like a cute nickname, Kris," Kairi said.
"Thank you, Kairi," Kris said. She pulled Kairi closer to whisper. "Say, is Sora your boyfriend?"
"Yes, he is," Kairi whispered.
"You're lucky, because he's really cute. If you aren't careful, I might steal him away," Kris joked.
"You wouldn't, would you?" Kairi asked.
"No, I was only kidding. Besides, you two are a cute couple," Kris said as she whispered.
"As I did for Ethan, I shall provide a Pokédex and Pokéballs for you," Professor Elm said, presenting her the Pokédex and Pokéballs for her.
"Thank you, professor," Kris said.
Entering the lab is a light-skinned boy with brown eyes and light brown short hair with a small "tuft" on top. He wore a turquoise t-shirt with a white collar and a zipper stripe. Below the collar is a yellow and white circle, possibly a zipper. He wore dark brown pants and turquoise white shoes.
"I'M NOT LATE, AM I?! I HOPE THEY'RE NOT ALL GONE, ARE THEY?!" The boy exclaimed at the top of his lungs.
"You're right on time, Vincent," Kris said.
"You know him?" Sora asked.
"We do. That's Vincent. He's a long-time friend we had ever since we were little kids," Ethan said.
"The only Pokémon I have left is Chikorita. If you want a different Pokémon, then I'm afraid you'll have to wait," Professor Elm said.
"I'll take it, professor," Vincent said. With that said, Chikorita rushed over to Vincent. Professor Elm hands him a Pokédex and some Pokéballs for him.
"Here you go. Some Pokéballs and a Pokédex," Professor Elm said.
"Yes! I got myself a Chikorita! My life as a Pokémon Trainer begins today!" Vincent said. He notices the couple. "Who're they?"
"Vincent, this is Sora and Kairi. They just came here today," Kris said. Vincent looked right at Sora.
"What?" Sora asked.
"I don't think I ever seen you here before. Where did you come from?" Vincent asked, stroking his chin.
"Pallet Town," Sora replied.
"Pallet Town, huh? That's in Kanto. What brings you here?" Vincent asked.
"Well, I came here to compete in the Johto Pokémon League, but we also came here to make a delivery of a Pokéball to Kurt in Azalea Town," Sora said.
"Professor Oak did mention that when he told me about you," Professor Elm said. "I have known Professor Oak when I was a student in Kanto University. He was a great teacher though."
"Yeah, well, I knew him for my whole life, actually," Sora said.
"What do you mean, Sora?" Professor Elm asked.
"Well, he was there for my mom ever since my mom was a kid. He treated her like his own daughter. He walked her down the aisle when she married my dad," Sora said, sighing. "And he comforted her after my dad died when she was pregnant with me and my sister." Ethan, Kris, and Vincent were shocked to hear that.
"I see," Professor Elm said, understanding. "It sounds like he does care about you very much."
"He does," Sora said. Kairi placed her hand on his shoulder. Sora placed his hand on hers. Kris could sense the romance between the two of them.
"Sora, how about you make contact with Professor Oak?" Professor Elm suggested.
"Okay. I might as well let him know we made it over just fine," Sora said. Professor Elm led Sora to the phone with Kairi, Ethan, Kris, Vincent, and the Pokémon behind them. Sora made contact with Professor Oak.
"Sora, I trust you made it over to New Bark Town," Professor Oak said.
"Yeah. Kairi and I are at Professor Elm's lab right now," Sora said.
"I was the one who suggested that they make contact with you, Professor Oak," Professor Elm said.
"Ah, Professor Elm. It's good to see your face after so long. I trust your research is going well," Professor Oak said.
"Of course, Professor Oak. I hope you got that email I sent you," Professor Elm said.
"I did. I was mighty impressed, but I expect no less from one of my former students," Professor Oak said. He sets his sights to Sora. "By the way, Sora. Have you registered to the Johto Pokémon League yet?"
"Yeah. We got it done in the Pokémon Center since we needed to get here," Sora said.
"Nurse Joy was nice enough to help us out," Kairi said.
"I'm glad you made it. And I'm hoping you two catch yourselves some Pokémon soon," Professor Oak said.
"We plan to, professor," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"I'm going to catch some Pokémon, too, professor," Ethan said.
"Oh? And who are you?" Professor Oak asked.
"My name is Ethan," Ethan answered.
"I'm Kris. Nice to meet you," Kris said.
"And I'm Vincent," Vincent finished.
"Ethan, Kris, and Vincent are starting out as Pokémon Trainers as of today," Sora said.
"I see. I wish you luck on your way, you three," Professor Oak said with a smile. "The same with Sora and Kairi."
"Thanks," Sora, Kairi, Ethan, Kris, and Vincent said all at once.
"It was good hearing from you two, and nice meeting you three. Sora, Kairi, I'll let your families know you called," Professor Oak said.
"Tell them we said hi," Kairi said.
"I certainly will. Goodbye for now," Professor Oak said, breaking contact.
"Wow, he's nicer than I thought," Kris said.
"I'll say," Professor Elm said. "By the way, I'll bet you would want to know where the first Gym is in Johto since you just arrived."
"Yeah, that was on my mind," Sora said.
"Where is the first Gym and what type does the Gym Leader specialize with?" Kairi asked.
"The first Gym is in Violet City. And the Gym Leader uses Flying-type Pokémon. But with Pikachu, you have come well-prepared," Professor Elm said.
"Yeah, but it wouldn't hurt to have some extra Pokémon just in case," Sora said.
"I couldn't agree more," Professor Elm said. "I know you'll going to do fine. The same with the rest of you."
"Yeah!" Ethan and Vincent both said.
Arriving in New Bark Town, Sora and Kairi have begun their journey in the Johto region, and the first challenge lays in Violet City. Not only that, but they had their first encounter with the Nobodies, but who knows when the next Heartless and Nobody attack will happen, and what kind of plans does Organization XIII have for them? More to come when we continue on with our story.
