Chapter Two-hundred and twelve: Dark storms start to brew

The heroes and their class, while visiting Kanto on a field trip, were now all at a hospital in Saffron City. The entire class, as well as Kukui, both Oaks, and Brock, all had grim, worried looks on their faces as they sat in silence. The silence was broken momentarily when Lt. Surge came in, carrying bagss full of snacks and drinks. "Any word on that Misty girl's condition?" Lt. Surge asked as he distributed snacks and drinks to the students.

Dawn gently shook her head. "Nothing yet, although we do know she's still alive," Dawn replied, "Misty's sisters can bring us to a window to look into the room Misty's recovering in after her first surgery, but they can only bring us four at a time." Dawn received a snack sized bag of sweet spicy chili tortilla chips. "We worked it out, and the first group to go see Misty will be me, Ash, Brock, and Sophocles."

Lt. Surge cleared his throat. "Yes, I see. Well if you guys want some good news, the captured wild Pikachus that Team Scorn had when we confronted them were all freed, and all of Team Scorn what was there when we confronted them were taken into custody. Also, the two Pikachus that respectively grew attached to you and that Sophocles boy are still hanging around. I think they may want to go home with you kids."

"Well at least Team Scorn didn't get away with their discount dastardly deed-doing wholesale," Kenny remarked as two Pikachus, one a normally colored male and the other a shiny female, respectively wandered up to Dawn and Sophocles. Dawn and Sophocles were able to capture their respective Pikachus, and although Dawn was wanting to get to work on training her new Pikachu, especially as she was planning to keep it as is to take advantage of the Light Ball that she had, right now she simply didn't have the right frame of mind to deal with it.

Instead, she simply sent Tobias to Oak's lab so she could add her Pikachu to her party right away, she named him Sergeant (she kind of felt a military rank name would be fitting due to Lt. Surge being involved in helping her get a Pikachu), then turned to face the Sensational Sisters when they came in. "Umm... we're ready for people to come see Misty," Daisy said, gesturing for Dawn, Ash, Brock, and Sophocles to come with her and the others. Dawn and the boys were prepping themselves for the worst, although Dawn was feeling that no amount of prepping would make them ready enough to see Misty in any terrible condition. Still, Dawn and the others all had to be strong, and that was more important now than ever before.

She laid in her hospital bed, completely out of it. A wrap was around her head and also covering her right eye. An oxygen mask was strapped over her mouth to help her breathe. There was bandaging all over to cover burns, and there was even some casting around her right ankle which stuck out and was held up. She wore a long sleeved hospital gown, the sleeved pulled back so that various things could be placed onto slash inserted into her arms. Her hair was let down, not kept up in the usual side pigtail held up; it even looked to Dawn that she had brushed her hair down and was going to wear it down and straight.

...But then Team Scorn happened to the Cerulean City gym, and Misty, who laid hurt, burnt, and with a head injury, was now fighting to stay alive. The worst part was how, despite the fact that it was Team Scorn who attacked the Cerulean City gym, they didn't deliberately or directly hurt Misty like this; Misty had run back in to get one of her older sisters, Daisy, out when said sister ran back into the burning gym solely to try and rescue a make-up kit. It was the shallow, short-sighted vanity of one of Misty's older sisters, and not Team Scorn, that had ended up leading to Misty being in the state that she was in right now.

...But said state wouldn't have occurred at all if Team Scorn didn't attack the Cerulean City gym.

Daisy, Violet, and Lily all expected Dawn to be the hardest hit, figuring that, as a girl, Dawn would have given into emotions the easiest and quickest. Instead, Dawn surprised the Sensational Sisters by remaining stoic, while it was Ash and Brock who trembled as they fought to hold back tears, and Sophocles actually fell to his hands and knees as he cried loudly, tears falling from his eyes and mucus dribbling out from his nose. Ash, seeing that Sophocles was particularly upset, helped him back up to his feet. "...I'm amazed, Sophocles," Ash said, "You hardly know me and Brock's friend Misty, yet you're really upset for her sake."

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this," Lily said, then went on while pointing to Sophocles, "Sophocles here is Misty's boyfriend she's been having video chats with. Misty was rather excited to hear that Sophocles was coming to Kanto, so she spent extra time getting herself dolled up before meeting you guys. That's why she was late to greet your party at the airport, she wanted to make a good first impression on Sophocles when she met him in person for the first time."

Although Ash and Brock both looked surprised, Dawn nodded in understanding. "...I was kind of figuring that Sophocles's girlfriend he was talking about would turn out to be Misty. He mentioned she lives in a region outside of Alola, also she had a strong aversion to bug Pokémon, and when we got word that the Cerulean City gym was under attack by Team Scorn, I picked up on how Sophocles seemingly knew Misty already."

"I-I-I was hoping we could o-of had our first l-lunch together in p-p-person," Sophocles stammered through his crying, "But that w-won't be h-happening anytime s-s-soon."

As Ash and Brock tried comforting Sophocles, the group visiting Misty was met up by a doctor. "What's the prognosis, doc?" Violet asked, "How badly did Daisy screw Misty up by rushing back in for that make-up kit?"

"Well her right ankle was fractured, but we were able to address that in surgery," the doctor said, "Just let it stay in that cast until we call to remove it. The burns were bad, and we had to remove some skin and replace it with a skin graft. There was some carbon monoxide poisoning from the smoke from the fire, but we were able to clear that up. However, it's the hit to the side of her head that ought to be the main cause for worry."

"What do you mean?" Daisy said, fearing the worst due to how she was mostly responsible for Misty's condition right now.

"According to a scan we did," the doctor began, "She suffered some damage to her brain, not helped by how she had trouble getting in air while inside the gym as it was burning. From what we've seen, we can expect Misty to have some mental regression as a result of the damage she had suffered."

Misty was going to suffer some mental regression as a result of her injury? It struck everyone hard that someone close to them was now doing to have some mental disability for quite possibly the rest of her life. "...How bad is the damage?" Dawn asked.

"Surprisingly, it's nowhere near as bad as most other cases," the doctor began, "And we've seen signs that the damage can, over a long period of time mind you, be healed to an extent. The expected mental regression won't be anywhere near as bad as it could of otherwise been. In most cases, such mental regression would leave the victim with the mentality of someone half their biological age or less, and that mental age will stay for good. But in Misty's case we can expect no more than two to three years shaved off of her mentally speaking compared to her biological age, and with a lot of therapy, it's possible for her mental age to catch back up to her biological age." Looking at everyone, the doctor said, "However, it WILL be a long and hard road of recovery for Misty, and she's going to be needing all of the love and support of her family and friends."

Surprisingly, it was Sophocles who was the first to speak up. "You think Misty's injuries and possible mental disability will turn me away? Dream on! No way am I going to abandon my girlfriend! Especially now when she'll need me more than ever! I still owe her a first date since we became a couple, you know!"

Everyone else looked touched by Sophocles's declaration of how he was planning to stick by Misty's side as she went through the long hard road of recovery. The Sensational Sister in particular were touched by Sophocles's vow of being a good boyfriend to Misty. "...Yeah, you're a good guy for our sister, Sophocles," Violet said, "Misty really did pick well."

"She also kind of bragged about how her boyfriend was in movies on the internet now," Daisy said, "And she directed us our attention to the Kenny Harris Studios website. I have to say, the Mina Carrow movie is my favorite."

"I liked that one best too," Violet said.

Holding up a hand, Lily said, "I'm more partial to Poké Sphere P. By the way Ash, I loved how you brought your role as Son Ashku to life."

Ash, although he was still down due to hearing about the condition a friend of his was now in, was able to manage a small smile. "Thanks. I'm kind of hoping the next movie Kenny comes up with will be really lighthearted and funny in nature, I could use a laugh to get my mind of of things here."

...

"...Yeah," Kenny said when Dawn, Ash, Brock, and Sophocles came back from seeing Misty, "I talked things over with Lt. Surge when he mentioned he liked watching military movies, and I'm thinking the next film that Kenny Harris Studios will produce will be a comedy set at a military training camp, focusing on a ranking officer trying to get a bunch of raw recruits trained up and ready, and all of the hi-jinks that will ensue."

Folding her arms over her chest, Dawn said, "A comedy with a military theme."

Nodding once, Kenny said, "Oh yeah, I even asked Lt. Surge for some info about how the military works, mostly involving the ranks of those in the military."

Gesturing to Kenny, Kiawe said, "Kenny here says he'll list Lt. Surge in the credits as a creative consultant, whatever that means."

Dawn was about to speak up, but was cut off when some men dressed in business suits came into the hospital waiting room where everyone was located. "We got it that both Lt. Surge and Kenny Harris were here," said the first man, "Our client, Ms. Sabrina, needs to speak with both of them but on different matters each."

"Sabrina?" Brock said, "Oh ho ho, no way! The last time we dealt with her, she turned me and Misty into dolls with her crazy psychic powers! Misty does NOT need any of that right now!"

Despite Brock's objections, Ash held a hand up to gesture for Brock to settle down. "...I don't think she'll be up to any of that business again," Ash said, "And I feel like her coming here has some deeper meaning, given she's looking for both Lt. Surge AND Kenny."

True enough, Sabrina was there on some degree of official business, which was handled in a private meeting room at the hospital. In the room were the reborn trainers, plus Ash, Brock, Lt. Surge, and Kukui. Sitting across from the group was Sabrina, dressed as she was in the HGSS games back in the previous lives of the reborn trainers. "First, it's best to get the grim news out of the way," Sabrina said. Turning to look at Lt. Surge, Sabrina said, "Lt. Surge, I got it on my way here to see Kenny that all of the Team Scorn members you led the mission to capture have escaped custody."

"They all escaped?!" everyone else practically exclaimed.

Sabrina nodded once in grim confirmation. "Indeed. They were sprung by some fellows who were off carrying out another vile task in the name of Team Scorn at the time. All captured members of Team Scorn were able to escape, also they were able to recover all of their confiscated Pokémon."

"Dammit!" Lt. Surge swore, "I told the officers at the police station to assign more personnel than what they allocated! They also should have assigned more experienced men rather than a group consisting of nothing but greenhorns!"

"According to what I got on my way here," Sabrina went on, "The members of Team Scorn that are in Kanto were seen sailing off in the direction of Alola. I believe Kenny and his peers are heading back to Alola soon."

Kenny nodded once in confirmation. "Yeah, our field trip's about up here in Kanto. Now then." Folding his arms over his chest, Kenny asked, "What is it that you came here to seek me out specifically for?"

Now Sabrina relented a bit, looked a bit embarrassed. "I... I'm not sure if you know this, but I'm breaking out into the movie scene now. My agents had picked up on how you have your own studio where you produce movies and put them up on the internet. Given how explosively popular the Kenny Harris Studios website has gotten in recent events, my agents think it'll help get my name out there if I have a notable role in one of the movies your studio produces."

"You... sought Kenny out because you wanna ask him to let you take part in a movie his studio produces?" Dawn asked., drawing an affirmative nod from Sabrina.

Kenny held a hand to his chin, wore a look of consideration. "I'm right now trying to come up with the overall flow of a military comedy movie," Kenny said, "If your agents want you to have a role in a movie produced by Kenny Harris Studios, I'll need time to figure out how to work in a character for you that ought to be satisfying to the standards of your agents. Assuming they don't mind your breakout role from Kenny Harris Studios is in a military comedy, that is."

"So long as it's tasteful," Sabrina replied, "They want my role to be tasteful. Nothing too... out there."

Kenny nodded once in understanding. "Is there anything else?"

"Yes, but this doesn't relate to my news to Lt. Surge or my request to you Kenny," Sabrina replied. The Saffron City gym leader turned her attention over to where Dawn stood. "Dawn," Sabrina began, "Last night, I had a dream concerning you. I feel as if the dream is prophetic, hence why I believe it is urgent that I tell you about it."

"A prophetic dream concerning me," Dawn said.

Sabrina nodded once in confirmation. "Yes. The dream sees you with a small sentient cloud of dust and starlight, which ends up growing into a mighty beast with a mane resembling the sun itself. Similarly, your blonde companion over there-" Sabrina paused to gesture to Trip "-I saw him in my dream too, but he encounters a creature resembling the moon, that flies swiftly under the glow of moonlight." Turning to Kenny, Sabrina went on, "And you, Kenny... I... know you aren't exactly fond of how my psychic powers give me some advantage against challengers due to giving me visions of the future-"

"Yeah, you need to cut that out," Lt. Surge remarked.

Sabrina nodded once in agreement to Lt. Surge. "...Anyway Kenny, my prophetic dream includes you as well, as you not only encounter a creature of great power similar to what Dawn and the blonde boy have in their futures, but your encounter may be the most challenging of the three, as you will encounter a prismatic creature that seemingly devours all light."

"...Yeouch," Kenny remarked, "Also, the blonde boy is Dawn's adopted brother Trip. He's a born and raised Unovan, but he now lives in his adopted region of Sinnoh."

"Unova?" Sabrina said, then she suddenly leaned forward a bit while holding a hand to the side of her head.

This got the attention of the others in the room. "Sabrina, are you okay?" Ash asked, looking concerned for her.

Able to force her eyes open although she was wincing, Sabrina said, "Kenny... mentioning Trip is Unova-born... it sparked another vision. A vision of... of a dragon with vast power. A... a dragon who is very much unamused with Unova. A dragon that would rather take orders from straight up villains than hear the word of a Unovan."

Lt. Surge leaned back in his seat at the meeting table. "Yeah, I'm not all that amused with the way Unova's government is working right now, what with their xenophobic slant they've taken as of late."

Looking to the reborn trainers, Sabrina said, "Please, I... I beg of you three. In addition to keeping an eye out for what I had predicted about encounters for the three of you respectively, you must... you must beware the dragon whose ire had been drawn by Unova." The heroes all nodded in agreement and, after Kenny asked Sabrina for a number he could contact her with when he had a script ready for the next movie that would be produced by Kenny Harris Studios, the heroes and Sabrina were able to break off and go their separate ways.

...

"So Sabrina the gym leader in Saffron City, Kanto will come to Alola to take part in the next movie that you'll make," Mallow said to Kenny as they and the rest of the class.

Kenny nodded once in confirmation. "Given how her agents are kind of forcing her onto me, I'm reluctant to give her a role that will be used heavily throughout an entire film. But I can probably work in a bit role near the beginning." Folding his arms over his chest, Kenny went on, "Given it'll be a military comedy movie, I could have her pop in as the highest ranking officer seen in the movie. I may even spring for having her pop in as a nation's leader, I don't know."

"And what's this about visions Sabrina had about you guys?" Sophocles asked while gesturing to Dawn, Kenny and Trip.

"...Apparently," Dawn began, "I'm expected to encounter a beast related to the sun, Trip will encounter a moon related creature, and Kenny gets the hardest encounter of the lot as he'll deal with a prismatic being that devours all light. Sabrina also said how we ought to beware of a dragon that's really ticked off at Unova for some odd reason or another."

Folding his arms over his chest, Kiawe said in a wry tone, "Even dragons foreseen in psychic visions are unamused with Unova right now. Fancy that."

"Sort of makes me glad I identify with my adoptive region," Trip said.

As the class got ready to ship out, they were approached by Brock, Lt. Surge, and Sabrina who came to see them off. "You soldiers get back to Alola safely now, ya here?" Lt. Surge said, a playfully amused smirk on his face, as he saluted the heroes.

Saluting Lt. Surge back, Ash said, "Don't worry, we'll make it back to Alola safe and sound."

Turning to look at Dawn and Sophocles, Lt. Surge added, "And you two, you both have Pikachus now. You take good care of them, and if evolving them into Raichus is your goal, make absolute certain that they're trained properly first, that they all know good moves first."

Nodding once, Sophocles said, "I'm actually planning on seeking advice from Ash and Kenny when it comes to my Pikachu."

"Same here," Dawn said, "I was thinking for Sergeant's training that-"

"Hey Dawn, Sergeant is getting into your bag," Mallow said, cutting Dawn off and making her and the others turn to see Dawn's named Pikachu's lower half sticking out of her bag. Sergreant then came popping out of Dawn's bag, holding something that he was gnawing on. However, what the item that Sergeant pulled out to gnaw on set a degree of alarm into Dawn's heart, given that the item in question just so happened to be a Thunder Stone.

"Sergeant, no!" Dawn called out as she reached a hand out, but it was too late; the Thunder Stone activated, triggering evolution within Sergreant. By the time the porcess was done, Sergeant had evolved into a Raichu. "Grrrrrrrrrr!" Dawn growled in frustration, "Sergeant, you weren't supposed to do that! Now I have to come up with an entirely different training plan for you!"

Over where the Kanto gym leaders stood, Sabrina pointed to where Dawn's named Raichu sat on the floor and said, "...Huh. I did not see that coming."

Dawn found herself in a fog-filled mountainous valley, with only Chi-Chi by her side. "...The heck's going on, Chi-Chi?" Dawn said to her named Infernape as the two of them looked around at the eerie landscape they now found themselves in. As the girl and her monkey wandered around, they stopped short upon hearing two mighty cries sound out, making them take pause and look around.

Within short order, two large Pokémon emerged from the fog, and Dawn was able to identify them as Solgaleo and Lunala. The two legendary Pokémon both nodded to Dawn, as if conveying something of importance to her. Dawn nodded once, as did Chi-Chi. A beam of light formed, and a Cosmog formed within the beam before it shot away at high speeds, much to Dawn's surprise.

...

After Dawn woke up from her dream, she got ready for the day then headed down to the dining area of the hotel, where she along with Trip and Kenny had breakfast alongside the students visiting Alola on the field trip from Blackthorn City Academy. "Oh, I heard that some chick named Burnet was named Alola Woman of the Year for her research into something called Ultra Wormholes," Kenny spoke up during breakfast.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you're somehow able to figure out a way to use 'Ultra Wormhole' to insult someone, Kenny," Trip said dryly.

Dawn, after finishing her muffin, drained the last of her coffee. "Well boys, I'm ready to head to school when you are."

"Oh, I have an idea on what to title the military comedy movie I came up with," Kenny said, "But for the title to work I will need Paul to take the lead role."

Looking curious, Trip said, "Why will Paul get the lead role?"

"For alliteration reasons," Kenny replied, "Now let's set a course for adventure!"

...

The reborn trainers were making their way towards school, with Kenny whistling an upbeat tune that sounded like military marching music. They each had a Pokémon out following them; Dawn her Latios Lincoln, Trip his Electevire Fourze, and Kenny his Alolan Meowth Darknyan. As the reborn trainers made their way, Trip asked, "So Dawn, what do you plan to do for Sergeant's training?"

"I was planning to have him work as a Pikachu," Dawn said, "So that he could make use of the Light Ball I got. But then he got into my bag, found a Thunder Stone randomly, and gnawed on it until it evolved him into Raichu. I still plan for him to learn the same moves, but now the power I could have gotten out of him will be a bit on the curbed side."

"What about the visions that Sabrina had of us back in Kanto?" Kenny asked, "Where you'll praise the sun, Trip only has a few days to keep the moon from crashing into the planet while it has a creepy face, and I will have to confront a prism that sucks in light like an Ultra Wormhole."

"And the vision involving the dragon with a hate-boner for Unova and Unovans apparently," Trip added.

Sighing, Dawn said, "We'll just have to deal with these things as they-"

"Lati?" Lincoln said in a curious tone, wandering over a ways to check something out. This got the attention of the reborn trainers, who followed the named Latios over to the bush he wandered over to. Lincoln used Psychic to push halves of the bush away, and to the surprise of the reborn trainer it revealed a sleeping Cosmog. Dawn then recalled the dream she had. Leaning in to scoop up the sleeping Cosmog, Dawn Said, "I say we take this one here with us."

"Are we gonna visit an endgame area soon?" Kenny asked rhetorically.

Later at the trainer school, the reborn trainers showed their classmates and Kukui the Cosmog that Dawn found. Gesturing to the Cosmog, Kiawe asked, "What is it?"

"I think it looks like a fart from a starry space cloud," Kenny said, "Let's call it 'Farty'."

"We are NOT calling it Farty, you idiot," Mallow scowled, "It's cute, so it needs a cute name."

Shrugging, Kenny said, "Fluffyfart?"

"No," Lana scowled, her unamused expression similar to that of Mallows.

Kenny then looked like he was thinking long and hard, then he looked like he had an epiphany. "I know! We shall call it Fartandelous!"

"We are not putting the word fart in its name, Kenny!" Lillie snapped.

Dawn looked at Cosmog and said, "...How about Cosmog? It looks like a mass fog and it has the colors of the cosmos. Cosmos and fog combined is Cosmog."

"I was thinking 'Nebby'," Lillie said.

"Cosmog is it," Dawn said, right about the time Cosmog started to cry.

This sent the heroes and their classmates into a panic up until Mallow was able to calm Cosmog down by pulling out some star candies it had and feeding one to Cosmog, who apparently liked it. As Cosmog was being fed the star candies, Kukui came into the classroom. Spotting the Cosmog, Kukui pointed at it and said, "What is that Pokémon that looks like a fart from a starry space cloud?"

...

In the cafeteria during lunch, the heroes and their classmates sat together, with Dawn holding Cosmog and continuing to feed it the star candies until it indicated it was full and let out a sigh before settling down for a nap. "Aww, it is so precious!" Lillie said, "I actually wouldn't mind trying to touch it."

"I still can't believe that Professor Kukui called it a fart," Lana said.

"In his defense, it was probably his first time seeing Cosmog," Trip pointed out, "Besides, at least his first time seeing Cosmog was nowhere near as bad as his first try at teaching sex ed."

Ash was about to speak up, but got cut off when an announcement was made over the school intercom. "Could Dawn Berlitz, Kenny Harris, and Trip Berlitz please report to the Principal's Office? Dawn Berlitz, Kenny Harris, and Trip Berlitz please report to the Principal's Office. That is all."

"Whelp, about time we got our sorry rear ends kicked out of school," Kenny said, "It was only a matter of time."

"We aren't getting kicked out of school you idiot," Dawn said as she, Kenny, and Trip got up to go report to the Principal's Office, "...At least I hope we aren't."

...

Over in Principal Oak's office, the reborn trainers were surprised when they saw, in addition to Principal Oak, that Kukui, Burnet, Faba, Wicke, and Lusamine were all also there as well. Gesturing to Dawn who was holding Cosmog, Kukui said, "There you go, there's the starry space fart that Dawn brought to class with her." To the reborn trainers, Kukui said while gesturing to Burnet, Faba, Wicke, and Lusamine in that order, "These guys are Burnet, Faba, Wicke, and Lusamine. They do research into the Ultra Wormholes."

"You young lady may have bar none the most important fart in all of Alola," Faba said while pointing at Dawn, "It is imperative that you hand your fart over to us so that we may study it."

"Did an older man just ask for a preteen girl's fart?" Kenny asked, "What is wrong with you, ya sicko?"

"That's not what Faba means," Burnet said, "We believe that the creature you hold there, which we have taken to code-naming 'Spacefart' for lack of a better moniker-"

"I came up with Cosmog," Dawn said, her tone and expression a bit dry, "Given it looks like a chunk of fog that had cosmic imaging in it and whatnot. Cosmog."

"Oh thank goodness we now have a better alternative than Spacefart," Burnet said, letting out a relieved sigh. "Anyway," Burnet continued, "We have reason to believe that Cosmog here is something called an Ultra Beast."

Muttering to herself, Wicke said, "What, we're going to abandon 'Spacefart' already? I rather liked the name that I came up with. I thought it was clever."

To Burnet, Dawn asked, "Hmm, explain what an 'Ultra Beast' is." Dawn had a vague idea already due to past life knowledge, but she wanted more details.

Gesturing to Dawn, Lusamine explained, "Ultra Beasts, we believe, are Pokémon or at least Pokémon like creatures from far off worlds. The Ultra Beasts, or at least images that resemble them, appear in legends with the Guaridan Deities of Alola."

"We recently detected a spike in our readings over at the Altar of the Sunne," Burnet said as she brought up an image of the Altar of the Sunne.

Dawn took pause when she saw it, or rather the valley surrounding it. "...I saw an area like that in the dream I had last night, but the valley was filled with fog."

Scoffing, Faba said, "Ridiculous. As if random dreams can lead to any real impact of future events."

Turning to look at Dawn, Lusamine said, "I must ask that you let us take in Cosfart- err, I mean Cosmog!" Growling in annoyance, Lusamine said, "I got so used to using the old term we came up with that I'm having trouble using the new term properly! Cosmog! The proper term for the supposed Ultra Beast is Cosmog!"

Dawn turned to her side so that Cosmog was more away from Lusamine's group. "I... would much rather look after Cosmog myself, thank you very much."

"Young lady, it is imperative that you give us that fart of yours," Faba swore.

"Actually, Dawn as well as Kenny and Trip here both have a lot of experience when it comes to looking after rare and exotic Pokémon," Kukui said, "I'm certain that Fartmog- err, I mean Cosmog- will be in good hands if it remains with Dawn."

Faba looked like he was going to object, but Lusamine cut him off. "...I suppose it is fine to leave... Cosmog... with Dawn. She has proven herself to be a trainer that can be trusted, what with how she's the Champion of Sinnoh and all." After a few salutations and other greeting were exchanged, Lusamine and her group took off. But the reborn trainers felt like this wouldn't be the end of their dealings with Lusamine's group, especially as Dawn still held the fart that they sought.

END, CHAPTER TWO-HUNDRED AND TWELVE

This chapter covers the rest of the heroes' class's field trip to Kanto, which ends on a mostly bittersweet note as, while no one died as a result of the fire that engulfed the gym in Cerulean City, Misty suffered some serious damage in a bid to rescue Daisy, including some damage that may affect her person for quite some time yet. But the heroes vow to stand by Misty's side and give her all the love and support she needs to overcome any challenges she'll face. Especially Sophocles, who turns out to be Misty's boyfriend that video chats with him on the computer. And it's stated there are signs Misty can fully recover as a person, so she's not screwed for good.

Before the class can return to Alola, they're met up by Sabrina who, in addition to saying her movie agents (she's getting into acting now) want Kenny to give her a role in a movie made by Kenny Harris Studios, tells Dawn, Kenny, and Trip of multiple visions she had, one of which is sparked when it's mentioned that Trip's a natural born citizen of Unova despite how he now identifies with his adoptive region of Sinnoh. Dawn is slated to confront something related to the sun, Trip's slated to tango with a creature related to the moon, and Kenny gets to face off against a light-devouring beast. Also, Sabrina mentions a dragon that hates Unova for some reason.

The class then returns to school in Alola, where Dawn has a dream before she, Kenny, and Trip leave for school, discovering a Cosmog along the way. After getting to school and rejecting the fart-based names Kenny comes up with, Dawn refers to Cosmog by its species name before the class heads to lunch. During lunch, the reborn trainers are called to Principal Oak's office, where they meet Lusamine and friends who want Cosmog for study, although Dawn is able to convince them to let her hold onto the Cosmog for the time being. This is the start of the Aether Foundation shenanigans, which will continue into the next chapter. Until then, take care.
