Chapter Two-hundred and fourteen: The one wherein they go to Ultra Space

Over at Aether Paradise, Lusamine was having a discussion with Burnet and Wicke. "I still can't believe the lengths that Faba had gone to," Lusamine said, sounding guilty as if she had screwed up big time, "Has Faba even been found yet?"

Wicke gently shook her head. "Sorry, can't say that I have heard anything about it."

"Well if there was one good thing about the kerfuffle from Faba working with Team Scorn," Burnet said to Lusamine, "It's that your daughter had been able to at last overcome her trauma and can now interact with Pokémon again."

Lusamine gave a gentle smile as she nodded once in agreement. "Yes, it is nice to know that Lillie has recovered. Oh, did you know that Lillie and her classmates are making movies that they're putting up on a website for people to see?"

"Oh yes, Kukui told me about it," Burnet said, "I personally think the funny martial arts movie is the best of what's out so far."

"I like that romantic comedy," Lusamine remarked, "And Lillie was downright adorable in her role. I do wonder who that sweet, charming young fat girl is though."

"Miss Lusamine, that was Dawn Berlitz wearing a fat suit for the role," Wicke pointed out, "I myself asked about it and Kenny Harris explained it to me."

Lusamine had a mildly surprised look on her face. "...Huh."

"You'd have learned that if you watched the credits for the movie, genius," Brunet said dryly, a mild hint of sarcasm in her tone.

Over at the trainer school on Melemele Island, the heroes and their classmates were all relaxing as they were waiting for Kukui to show up. During said waiting, Lillie was interacting with the Pokémon everyone had out; she even hugged Dawn's named Latios Lincoln. "So what's the sitch with that creepy scientist jerk-waffle who wants Dawn's fart?" Kenny asked.

"Can we please quit referring to Cosmog as a fart?" Dawn asked.

To Kenny, Trip said, "I got it from Ash and Gladion that Faba is still on the loose, and that Gladion is unsure of the Aether Foundation's ability to do anything about it."

Kenny was about to speak up, but got cut off when he and the others heard conga line singing; looking over, they saw Lillie in a conga line with several Pokémon, including Kiawe's Turtonator, as well as Dawn's Latios. "...Now she's just showing off," Kenny remarked.

"Hey, at least she's over her trauma now," Dawn said, "It's what we've been wanting."

As everyone watched Lillie play with the Pokémon, Cosmog was in Dawn's bag that was left open, sound asleep. It was near an open window-door, so Faba who was spying on the students was able to see Cosmog. "I can redeem myself to Lusamine by opening another Ultra Wormhole," Faba said, "But I will need the power of Dawn Berlitz's magic space fart to do it."

Faba quietly took out a bag of star candies, plucked a piece out from the bag, and held it up so that Cosmog would see it. Faba whistled as loudly as he dared to try to wake Cosmog up, which worked and it saw the star candy. It then happily got out of Dawn's bag and floated over to eat the offered candy. Faba then poured a small pile on the ground which Cosmog went after, buying Faba time to capture Cosmog in a tech device it couldn't escape from although it could still use its powers.

The latching of the device that trapped Cosmog was heard by the students in the classroom, who all turned and saw Faba. "Aha! I have captured the space fart!" Faba exclaimed, "Now I will use its farty powers to open an Ultra Wormhole!" Cosmog, now panicking, used its teleportation powers to zap itself away, although it took Faba with it as it could't escape the device it was trapped in.

After Faba and the trapped Cosmog were zapped away, Kenny turned to look at Dawn. "You got a point, my main man," Kenny said, "Even I think the joke's starting to get old."

"Guys, Faba just kidnapped Cosmog and zapped away somewhere!" Ash cried out, and around that moment Gladion entered the classroom with Kukui.

Instantly, Gladion could tell something went wrong. "What happened?"

"Faba just kidnapped Cosmog and zapped away with it!" Serena exclaimed.

"What?!" Gladion exclaimed, taking a step back and looking shocked.

"This totally isn't good, yeah?" Kukui remarked, a grim look on his face, "We need to stop him!"

"But where do you think Cosmog could have zapped itself and Faba to after Faba caught it in that device?" Sophocles asked.

Gladion held a hand to his chin, wore a contemplative look on his face. "...Maybe since Faba was in control of that device, he chose where he and Cosmog got zapped to. That being the case, we ought to check Aether Paradise again."

"I can get Hobbes to fly all of us there by plane," Lillie said.

Looking around at the class, Gladion said, "It'll be a tight fit, but the lot of us here could fit in one plane, provided it's the largest one we can get."

"If not, some of the lads and I can follow along behind on dragons," Kenny offered. A plan was formed, and soon enough everyone took off to go deal with Faba having kidnapped Cosmog.

Over at Aether Paradise, Lusamine, Wicke, and Burnet saw it as a plane landed, right before the heroes, their classmates, Gladeon, and Kukui came out. "So the plane was big enough to fit all of us," Kenny said, "Go figure."

"What are you all doing here?" Lusamine asked.

"Faba just kidnapped Cosmog and then teleported away with it," Dawn said, "Faba used some sort of device to catch and contain Cosmog while still using its teleportation power, and we believe Cosmog zapped itself and Faba to a lab here."

"...He's planning to try and use Cosmog to open an Ultra Wormhole," Lusamine said, "Everyone, quickly! Follow me!" Everyone then proceeded to follow Lusamine as she led them all to Faba's lab at Aether Paradise.

...

Down in Faba's lab, he had Cosmog trapped in some containment pod so it couldn't escape, then finished preparing the equipment he needed to open an Ultra Wormhole. He then activated the device, drawing power from Cosmog which proceeded to make it cry out in pain, although the drawn out power was working in opening up an Ultra Wormhole. "Yes, YES!" Faba exclaimed, "This is it! With this Ultra Wormhole, I-"

"Stop! You violated the law!" Faba stopped short when he heard Kenny call out, making him turn to see everyone show up in his lab. "Pay the court a fine or serve your sentence," Kenny said, "Your stolen goods are now forfeit!"

Gesturing widely with his left arm, Faba said, "No! The Ultra Wormhole has been opened! There's no stopping it now!"

The heroes looked to where the Ultra Wormhole was opened, and it looked like something was trying to emerge from it. Looking around, they saw Cosmog crying in pain as its power was being used to power the Ultra Wormhole powering device. "Pikachu, blast that device that's trapping Cosmog with Thunderbolt!" Ash called out.

"Go, Umbreon!" Gladion said as he sent his Umbreon out, "Blast that device trapping Cosmog with Dark Pulse!"

"Lincoln!" Dawn called out as she brought out her named Latios, "Blast the device trapping Cosmog with Dragon Pulse!"

The three combined attacks blasted the device, breaking it open and freeing Cosmog who Dawn rushed in and collected. "No!" Faba screamed, "I was so close! I had an Ultra Wormhole opened! I won't stop now, not when I was so close!"

"Then pay with your blood!" Kenny exclaimed while pointing at Faba.

At that moment, Cosmog as Dawn held it began evolving, glowing bright white as its form shifted and, surprisingly, condensed down. When the process of evolution was finished, Cosmog had evolved into Cosmoem. "Cosmog evolved into Cosmoem," Trip said, "Hopefully that-"

Trip was cut off when an energy spike caused an Ultra Wormhole to open back up, only this time with more firmness. Then to the worry of everyone, a Nihilego emerged from the Ultra Wormhole. Faba cheered as an Ultra Beast had entered the world everyone was in, but he soon fell unconscious due to Nihilego's power. The heroes then saw Nihilego try going for Lillie, and only slowed it down a bit due to Pikachu, Umbreon, and Lincoln blasting it with attacks, although most of that effort clearly came from the named Latios as Dawn called for it to blast Nihilego with Psychic.

But Nihilego looked like it wouldn't stop, and it almost got Lillie, only for Lusamine to run in and let Nihilego take her instead. "MOM!" Lillie and Gladion both screamed in unison as Nihilego, having taken Lusamine, retreated back through the Ultra Wormhole which closed behind them. Things were settled and quiet, but there was an air of utter defeat, and not even Kenny kicking the knocked out Faba right in the holy land could lighten the mood.

Later, everyone was discussing how to get Lusamine back from Ultra Space. "There's no guarantee we can reopen the Ultra Wormhole," Burnet said, "So we'll need to find some other way to get Lusamine back from Ultra Space."

Turning to look as Cosmoem, Kenny asked, "Dawn, how are you even able to carry that thing? Professor Burnet weighed it and discovered it actually outweighs Kurumu who, need I point out, is your Groudon."

"It's actually floating with psychic power," Dawn explained, "Anyway, we need to stick together if we're to figure out how to save Lusamine."

...

Over in Lillie's room, she changed into a new outfit, recalled Snowy to its Poké Ball, then turned around to leave as Gladion came in. "Where do you think you're going?" Gladion asked.

"To go find a way to save mom," Lillie explained.

Gently shaking his head, Gladion said, "You don't even know where to begin. I do, and I have an idea on how to open an Ultra Wormhole."

"Take me with you," Lillie said.

Gently shaking his head, Gladion said, "Forget it, it's too dangerous. I'm going alone."

"Please?" Lillie asked.

"No," Gladion replied.

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"...Alright." The two then got outside of the mansion, Gladion called out Silvally, the two siblings hopped on, and then they took off for parts unknown.

The next day at the trainer school, the heroes and their classmates were looking at Cosmoem, who now seemed to be completely still. "...Yeah, the fart joke wouldn't work anymore anyway," Kenny remarked, right about when Kukui entered the classroom with Hobbes the butler.

"Umm... yeah," Hobbes said, "Master Gladion and Miss Lillie have both disappeared."

"They what?!" the class exclaimed in unison.

Gesturing to the students, Kukui said, "A note was found, having been written by Lillie, saying she and Gladion were leaving to find a way to get to Ultra Space to rescue their mom."

"Oh great, they ran off on an adventure with no idea how to go about it!" Kenny said, "That's just fan-tucking-fastic!"

"So what do we do?" Ash asked.

Holding up a hand at shoulder level with the palm facing forward, Kiawe said, "I say we seek advice from Kahuna Hala. He is wise and can grant us insight that would be of great help."

"Set a course for adventure!" Kenny declared, right before everyone left to go see Hala.

...

"...Hmm, an Ultra Wormhole you say," Hala said when everyone met with him, "And a creature of great power came out from it before taking someone and retreating back into the hole. Reminds me of an old legend, involving the Altar of the Sunne."

"Altar of the Sunne?" Dawn said, "I was shown images of that place, and it reminded me of a dream that I had."

Hala nodded once in understanding. "I say that you should go to the Altar of the Sunne, connected to the legendary Pokémon Solgaleo. Seek help from Solgaleo by visiting the Altar of the Sunne on Poni Island."

"I say we should probably prep our parties for an endgame-type big battle," Kenny said, "I get a feeling we'll be drawn into a fight more epic than the final battles in Endgame and Return of the King combined."

After smacking Kenny in the back of the head, Dawn said, "As silly as Kenny was near the end there, he does have a point. We really ought to prep first." The heroes then got ready for going in to rescue Lillie and Gladion from their recklessness, right before Hobbes is able to get a boat from Wicke, although the size of the boat required some of the others to ride their Pokémon alongside the boat; Trip surfed next to the boat on his Kyogre, and Dawn and Kenny flew overhead on Yveltal and Rayquaza respectively.

Soon enough, they reached Poni Island, where the Altar of the Sunne was located.

With Gladion using info from Aether Paradise to lead the way, he and Lillie reached Vast Poni Canyon and proceeded to cross it so as to reach the Altar of the Sunne. They eventually stopped in an area with Pokémon statues that had to be moved, and although Silvally was able to move some statues no problem, when Lillie tried to move one, spikes popped up although Lillie was able to avoid them.

"We need to be careful here, Lillie," Gladion said, "One misstep and-" Gladion was cut off when he and Lillie heard a bunch of angry cries sound out, then the two siblings turned to look and saw that a bunch of Jangmo-o and Hakamo-o, led by a Totem Kommo-o, came stampeding right towards them. Lillie and Gladion, using Snowy and Silvally, were able to defeat a fair chunk of the horde, but their numbers seemed endless.

...Up until they heard Dawn's voice call out, "Lincoln! Scatter them with Dragon Pulse!" A powerful Dragon Pulse attack came flying in and blasted through what all remained of the horde, defeating them and sending them scurrying away. Lillie and Gladion turned to see the rest of Lillie's class as well as Kukui come running up to them, with Dawn riding on her named Latios.

Gladion gave the group a bemused look. "...Lillie and I could have handled it."

"Save the edgelord shtick for later when there isn't anything on the line," Kenny said, "You two can't do this alone. That horde almost overwhelming you ought to be all the proof of that fact that you need."

"...Fine, having backup is a good idea anyway," Gladion said as he relented, letting himself and Lillie join the heroes' group to go to the Altar of the Sunne.

...

When everyone arrived at the top of the stairs of the Altar of the Sunne, they saw that all four of Alola's Guardian deities were there waiting for them. "Oh mighty guardian deities of Alola, hear our plea," Kenny said, "An evil jellyfish alien stole the mom of Lillie and her edgelord brother before disappearing into Ultra Space! We need to find a way to get the mom back!"

"Cosmoem's power had opened an Ultra Wormhole before," Dawn said, "We believe it can do so again, although it may need help! Please, we need to go after Lusamine so that we can save her!"

Tapu Koko floated over to the other deities, and after a brief talk with them, and afterwords they began combining their energies. "It would seem that the Electric, Grassy, Psychic, and Misty Terrains of the four guardian deities are mixing!" Rotom Dex said as it pop up.

Turning to look at Rotom Dex, Kenny remarked, "Oh yeah, I forgot you were here." Rotom Dex instantly looked defeated over having been forgotten so easily. Within short order, a viewing screen popped up from the mixed powers, then it showed Solgaleo and Lunala emerging from separate Ultra Wormholes to clash, but soon stopped their mighty battle as a Cosmog emerged from a cloud that formed. "Hey," Kenny said, "That looks like Cosmoem back when it was still a Cosmog." Dawn looked a bit relieved that Kenny used the correct term for Cosmog, and didn't default back to a variant of fart.

The screen then showed Cosmog teleporting the guardian deities, with Tapu Koko going to Melemele Island with Cosmog to hide in a bush, right before getting the attention of a passing Latios who was with a certain girl. "Hey, it's showing that Dawn was entrusted with Cosmog!" Mallow exclaimed, "That's her and her Latios right there!"

As the conjured viewing screen faded, Kukui said, "It would seem that you had been entrusted with Cosmog, Dawn." As Dawn nodded once in understanding, her bag began to glow, and she opened it up more to let Cosmoem float out as it glowed.

As Cosmoem floated up, Dawn called up to the guardian deities, "Yeah, Cosmog evolved into Cosmoem here!" As Cosmoem floated up and began glowing, Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini began tossing about glitter and water vapor around it.

As the two deities did their thing, Kukui turned around. "I got a call from Burnet," Kukui said, "I need to go meet with her." The heroes and their classmates all waved good bye, aside from the reborn trainers, Ash, Lillie, and Gladeon who all focused on what the guardian deities were doing. The four of them eventually went to float above one pillar each, and they began to hum. This made lines glow as the glowing reached its way upwards to the Altar of the Sunne's big sun symbol. When the lines of glowing power reached it, it lit up spectacularly and opened into a portal, firing a beam onto Cosmoem that made it glow with power.

As Rotom Dex took a flurry of pictures, the burst of bestowed power triggered within Cosmoem another evolution, making it grow much larger and taking on a more spectacular form. When the process was complete, Cosmoem had evolved into Solgaleo. "...Amazing," Dawn said as she looked up at the now Solgaleo.

"I believe these are a favorite treat it prefers," Serena said as she walked up and offered Solgaleo some star candies. Solgaleo sniffed at them before eagerly licking them up, then nudging its nose against Serena as if to ask for more. "Whoa!" Serena cried out in surprise, "It must really like sweets!"

"Maybe now it has the power to take us through the Ultra Wormhole," Gladion remarked, and at that cue, a Z Crystal formed from out of nowhere and floated gently down in front of Dawn for her to catch. "...It's shaped differently," Dawn remarked, "I'm not sure if it'll-" Dawn was cut off when her Z-Ring, as well as the Z-Rings of Kenny, Trip, and Ash, were all taken by the guardian deities, who closed themselves within their shells, hummed and danced for a bit, then opened back up and tossed the Z-Rings back and forth until each of them had danced with each Z-Ring. The Z-Rings were then returned to Dawn, Kenny, Trip, and Ash, who saw that their Z-Rings had all received an upgrade.

Dawn looked up at the guardian deities before nodding once to them. "...Thanks." Turning to look at Solgaleo, Dawn asked, "Solgaleo, would you be willing to take us through the Ultra Wormhole?" Solgaleo looked a bit surprised, before it laid flat on the ground to let everyone climb on, although it was something of a crowded fit. What all Pokémon the heroes had out at the moment, aside from Ash's Pikachu, were all recalled, and after that Solgaleo stood up. The guardian deities then showed Dawn how to perform the motions for Solgaleo's Z-Move and, after Dawn did the motions, a glowing sun symbol appeared on Solgaleo's forehead right before it used Searing Sunraze Smash, creating an Ultra Wormhole.

Solgaleo jumped up and, with everyone tightly on board, jumped into the Ultra Wormhole, with the portal closing and the guardian deities departing just in time for Kukui and Burnet to come back and see the portal close.

In Ultra Space, the heroes and Solgaleo ran through a portal pathway until they came out the end and arrived in Ultra Deep Space. "This... this place..." Serena said, "...It's all dark and eerie, what with all of the floating islands of jagged rocks."

"Meh, I've seen worse," Kenny remarked in a casual, somewhat upbeat tone.

The group soon landed, but soon found themselves being surrounded by several Nihilego. "Those are Ultra Beasts from the species designated as UB01- Symbiont," Gladion said, "Otherwise known as Nihilego. The same species that kidnapped me and Lillie's mom."

The swarm of Nihilego got closer, but they were scattered when Dawn and Trip called out Tsukune and Cameron and had the named Palkia and named Kyogre use Surf to swamp them away.

After the Nihilegos were defeated and sent packing, Gladion said, "I say we split up. We need to do an investigation of this area."

"I... think we should split up, but into smaller groups rather than each of us go off on our own," Serena said. Gladion agreed to Serena's terms, and the groups ended up being Dawn with Lana and Mallow, Trip with Kiawe and Sophocles, Kenny with Lillie and Serena, and Ash and Gladion were the lone pair. The groups were about to go off into seperate directions, but Solgaleo roared, alerting their attention. They all turned to look and saw Lusamine had appeared, but she had bonded with the Nihilego that had kidnapped her. She looked like her fused form from the games in the previous lives of the reborn trainers.

"Mom!" Lillie cried out, and she ran to try to get to Lusamine but the fused Lusamine threw up some jagged rocks.

"No!" Lusamine cried out, "Stay away! I won't give it up now, especially as I got to meet an Ultra Beast!"

Lillie's expression became a bit pouty. "Your behavior is awfully childish, mom!"

"Lillie, your mom obviously isn't herself right now," Trip pointed out, "Given that, you know, she's fused with an Ultra Beast!"

Lusamine then floated away and up a stone staircase that was being made as she went backwards up said staircase. Seeing this prompted the heroes to all run after her, after Dawn and Trip recalled Tsukune and Cameron. Eventually they got to the top and reached where Lusamine retreated to. "No! Stay away!" Lusamine screamed, "I won't let you take it away! I hate you all!"

"Man, that Nihilego fusion must be causing her mind to go bonkers," Kenny remarked.

Lillie was getting frustrated with her mom acting so illogical, so she sent Snowy out. "Use Powder Snow!" Lillie called out. Snowy used its attack but Lusamine raised a rocky barrier that blocked it. The other classmates sent their Pokémon out to try and break the barrier but nothing worked up until Dawn, Kenny, and Trip called out Tsukune, Porunga, and Cameron and had all of them blast the barrier with ranged attacks which shattered the barrier completely.

Lusamine growled with frustration and sent out a Salazzle which was surrounded by an aura. "I'll handle the Salazzle!" Kiawe said as he prepared to face off against Salazzle with his Turtonator and Alolan Marowak, "You guys go on ahead!" The rest of the group, when they saw Lusamine retreat further back, agreed and rushed off, with Trip and Kenny recalling Cameron and Porunga while Dawn simply hopped onto Tsukune and flew above the rest of the group.

The group soon caught back up to Lusamine again, but this time she sent out a Lilligant, a Milotic, and a Mismagius. To cover this, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles split from the group to handle Milotic, Lilligant, and Mismagius, allowing the others to go after Lusamine again. When the remainder of the group caught up to her, a visibly enraged Lusamine sent out an Absol. "It used to spar with my Umbreon," Gladion said, "I'll take it from here!" Gladion then proceeded to take on Absol, letting Ash, Lillie, Serena, and the reborn trainers go after Lusamine who retreated even further back.

After the six of them caught up to Lusamine yet again, she cried out, "Leave me alone, you brats! Go, Clefable!" Lusamine then sent out a Clefable, which Lillie recognized for some reason.

"...Dawn, Serena, boys," Lillie said, "Let me handle Clefable. You guys go after my mom." Lillie reached into her bag and pulled out a Poké Doll from it. "...Clefable here is an old friend of mine, I can handle it."

"Shows what you think, girl!" Lusamine screamed, "Clefable, use Moonblast on that dragon flying up there!"

"Tsukune, counter with Flamethrower!" Dawn called out. Clefable, glowing with aura and looking a bit sinister in its expression, conjured and fired a Moonblast at Tsukune, only for the named Palkia to blast it away with Flamethrower. The fires went on to swamp Clefable, who cried out a bit as the fires swamped it. When the attack ended, Clefable, wincing its eyes shut out of pain, soon felt it was being hugged. Opening its eyes slowly, it saw that Lillie was hugging it. A burst of air then seemed to dissipate from around Clefable's head, and the aura around it faded as its expression returned to normal.

As Lillie remained with Clefable, Ash, Serena, and the reborn trainers went after Lusamine who retreated even further back. They eventually cornered her, but she filled the area with a lake of poison. "Just go away and leave me alone!" Lusamine screamed, "What will it take for you kids to just go away and leave me alone?! I finally got to meet an Ultra Beast! Why do you have to end things there so soon?!"

"Great, a lake of poison stands in our way," Ash scowled, "How do we-" Ash got cut off when Solgaleo scooped Ash, Serena, and Pikachu up and put them on its back before running through the poison lake. "...Solgaleo must be part steel type!" Ash cried out, "No wonder the poison's not harming it!"

"Come on out, Deelia!" Trip said as he called out his named Dialga. Hopping onto Deelia's back, Trip pointed after Solgaleo and said, "Follow that Solgaleo! You're a partial steel type, so the poison lake won't harm you!" Kenny called out Shenron, hopped on, and simply flew over the poison lake, similar to Dawn just flying over the poison lake on Tsukune.

Seeing the heroes getting closer, Lusamine tried firing off random attacks, but they all missed, and in fact none even came close to hitting Dawn and Tsukune so they had no need to dodge. Eventually, the heroes all reached Lusamine, and even she knew she could retreat no further. "Just leave me alone!" Lusamine screamed as the heroes got off of their rides to confront her. Lusamine tried swatting a tentacle at Serena, only for Ash to run in and stand between them, taking the hit to his back in the process of protecting Serena.

"Ash!" Serena cried out, "Are you okay?"

"This... uhnn... is nothing compared to some of the other stuff I've been through," Ash replied, straightening back up and turning to face Lusamine again. "This is going to end right now, Lusamine!" Ash said, "And it's not the real Lusamine I'm addressing, but the puppet version of Lusamine that came about when she was fused with an Ultra Beast!"

"You damn brat!" Lusamine yelled, snarling with rage, as she tried to deliberately swat Ash, only for Solgaleo to rush in and knock the swatting tentacle away with a swing of its head.

Pointing forward, Dawn yelled, "Tsukune, hit the fused Lusamine with Spacial Rend!"

"Deelia, hit the fused Lusamine with Roar of Time!" Trip called out.

"Porunga!" Kenny said as he called his named Zygarde out, "Hit the fused Lusamine with Dragon Pulse!"

The three legendary dragons conjured up and fired their dragonic attacks right at the fused Lusamine, all of them hitting her and making her cry out in pain. Or rather the Nihilego that's fused with her, as when the dust settled, the Nihilego part seemed to have shrunken, and Lusamine within looked confused. "...Ch... children," said an obviously weak Lusamine, "...Wh... where am- AAH!"

The Nihilego tried to reaffirm the fusion, which seemed to have come partly undone with the barrage of mighty dragon attacks just now. "Nihilego's trying to fuse back with Lusamine after the attack barrage weakened the fusion bond!" Serena said, "We need to hit her with another assault before the fusion reaffirms!"

"Pikachu and I will blast her with a Z-Move," Ash said as he got his Z-Ring ready to use the electric Z-Move, "She's stunned, so I'll have a clear shot!"

"Yo, let's double the Pika-power," Kenny said as he called out his named Pikachu Juan, who was as always wearing a Pika-Libre outfit.

Seeing Kenny fit an Electrium Z crystal onto his Z-Power Ring, Trip said, "Kenny, since when did you earn an Electirum Z?"

"You'd be very surprised what I get up to when I'm left alone," Kenny replied as he fitted the Electrium Z to his Z-Power Ring.

Shuddering a bit, Dawn remarked, "Why does that statement fill me with more dread that what all we've seen here in Ultra Deep Space combined?"

"Because I was the one who said it!" Kenny boasted as if it's something he was proud of, "Now watch, as Ash and I unleash the true Pika-Power of-" Kenny stopped short when his and Ash's respective Electirum Z crystals both sparked with electricity; Ash's hat was blown off by a sudden wind but it landed on Pikachu's head. When the crackling electricity ended, Ash's and Kenny's Electrium Z crystals now looked like Pikachu tails, with the small black symbol in Ash's looking like a Pikachu tail whereas the small black symbol in Kenny's looked like a silhouette of a Pikachu's head wearing the Pika-Libre mask.

Ash and Kenny did fist to tail bumps with their respective Pikachus as they passed the Z power to them. "Alright, Pikachu!" Ash cheered, "Let's hit 'em with your Z move! 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt!"

"Don't let them leave you in the dust, Juan!" Kenny called out, "We'll show them your Z move can keep up with the pack and leave them in the dust! Hit that freaky fusion lady with your Z move! Latino Thunder!"

The two super-upgraded Thunderbolts, with Ash's Pikachu's being multicolored, both flew at the Lusamine-Nihilego fusion as Nihilego tried to reaffirm the fusion. The two Z moves hit and wracked Nihilego greatly, making it cry out through Lusamine as a cloud blew up around them. A yellow beam flew up into the sky from the impact, and the two transformed Z Crystals soon reverted back to normal.

Speaking of reverting to normal, Lusamine actually slid out of the defeated Nihilego, having returned to her normal self and appearance, although the heroes took a second to realize her appearance was back to normal due to black ink in her hair. As Lusamine came to, the rest of the heroes' class, as well as Gladion, all came rushing over given the poison lake had vanished somehow. They had defeated Lusamine's Pokémon which were also in toe.

"What... what happened..." Lusamine said as she was helped to her feet by Lillie and Gladion.

Lillie, with tears in her eyes, said, "We can settle this after we get out of here. For now, I'm just glad everyone's okay and that everything's settled." Everyone nodded in agreement and, with Solgaleo's help, they made another Ultra Wormhole to leave Ultra Deep Space although this time they kind of had to use multiple big Pokémon.

At the Altar of the Sunne in the normal world, Kukui and Burnet were looking up at the big sun symbol when an Ultra Wormhole appeared on it, and Solgaleo came out with Palkia grabbing onto its tail and Rayquaza grabbing onto Palkia's tail. After everyone was fully out of the Ultra Wormhole and they landed, Dawn and Kenny recalled Tsukune and Shenron. "I see that you guys were able to save Lusamine," Burnet said, "Well done!"

"We're the greatest party in the history of parties!" Kenny declared, "Let's hear it for Team one-eyed wonder Wurmple with two Poké Balls!"

"You are NOT using that as a team name again!" Dawn scolded. Sighing as she calmed down, Dawn turned to look at Solgaleo. "...Thanks again for helping us, Solgaleo," Dawn said, "We couldn't have do-" Dawn stopped short when Solgaleo roared, cutting her off. It then looked intently at Dawn for a moment in silence, then nodded once and grumbled a bit, as if it wanted to test Dawn. She could tell what Solgaleo was aiming for. "...How about first thing tomorrow morning?" Dawn asked, "The adventure we've just finished was tiring."

Solgaleo nodded once in agreement, grumbling in a likewise manner. "Well alright!" Kenny said, "Time to celebrate!" Opening his bag, Kenny pulled out rocks each roughly the size of a roll of duct tape. "I took the liberty of getting rocks from the Ultra Deep Space place we've just been to," Kenny said as he gave one rock each to all of the classmates plus Gladion, "One for each of us, as a way for us to remember the adventure that was literally out of this world."

Ash, as he held his Ultra Deep Space rock, said, "Wow, this is pretty neat, Kenny! Thanks!"

As everyone and Gladion looked at their Ultra Deep Space rocks, Serena said, "Kenny, are you sure this was a good idea? What if these rocks being here summon more Ultra Beasts?"

"Pfft, it's not like these things can will up Ultra Wormholes," Kenny said casually in a dismissive tone.

Looking at his Ultra Deep Space rock, Trip said, "Kenny, how did you get these?"

Kenny, as he held up his right hand to wiggle his right fingers, said, "I used my own special brand of Kenny Magic."

Author's notes;

This chapter covers the rest of the Ultra Space shenanigans, covering quite a lot within one chapter. Things were admittedly sped up due to the extra people and extra power brought along, although Ash still got to use 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt with the Pikashunium Z that his Electrium Z turned into for a bit; it was just backed up here by Kenny's Electrium Z crystal turning into the story-exclusive Z crystal Pikalibreum Z which let Kenny turn Juan's Thunderbolt into Latino Thunder. Faba is still under scrutiny, Lusamine is still saved, and everything is returned to normal. But there's more in store, such as the mysterious unspoken agreement between Dawn and Solgaleo, and Kukui and Burnet have a shared destiny coming up. Until then, take care.
