By the Bonfire: D.I.Y.

There were some amusing perks to living in Chaldea, Nero had noted during the course of her stay. One of those was the opportunity to encounter a variety of different Servants all of whom were most certainly attractive. If there was one thing that the Emperor valued, it was beauty.

Naturally none of them came close to her divine radiance. Then again, she was the avatar of Venus so it was expected of her to stand atop all other Servants in the looks department. There were a couple she would admit might have been a little close but that was neither here nor there.

The fact of the matter was that Nero was confident in her physical appearance when compared to all others. To accompany her beauty, it was right that her voice was equally divine in nature. However, such perfect vocal cords required a location to be equally fitting. Which was why she needed a theatre equal to her own.

The simulator could only achieve so much, what she truly needed - more than anything else - was a physical theatre she could stand in. perform within. A place where she could develop arts that all of Chaldea could take part within.

Even Elizabeth might be allowed to perform there on occasion. Nero always did enjoy winning competitions. However, before she could even begin to contemplate the idea of winning any sort of competition, she first needed individuals whom she could delegate the role of building to. Those who could create her great vision. There were a few steps that would go into construction.

With a smile on her face, Nero wandered through the halls of Chaldea with her idea already drumming around in her head. She would go to Maestro and ask his permission and suitable locations to build within Chaldea before they continued on. Actually, it would also give her an excuse to ask Pale Rose. Nero was confident that her charm was winning slowly but surely winning her over.

It wasn't anything special, she just thought Olga was pretty to look at and she had a fiery personality. There was no real desire for long term connection, a simple fling over the course of her summoning would be nice.

She occasionally waved to whatever Servants she passed by, giving them her own charming smile and being rewarded with a smile or a nod in kind.

She paused when she spied one of the individuals she was searching for, her expression brightened considerably and she sped up her pace "Caster Pharros!" she called out, the brunette jolted and turned in her direction, raising an eyebrow "How would you like to work in architecture?"

Pharros gave her a single blink "How would I like to what?"

"I'm going to build the Golden Theatre in Chaldea!" Nero declared, pointing at Pharros "And you're going to help!"

Another blink "I am?"

"...Aren't you?"

Pharros remained silent for a few moments, her lips drew themselves into thin lines before she placed her hands on her hips and gave a long and thoughtful hum. Eventually, her lip quirked upwards and she glanced at Nero out of the corner of her eyes "Well~" she sang, rocking on her heels and folding her arms across her chest "I suppose I can jump back into my architectural roots!"

Nero's smile widened "Excellent!" she then noted the latter half of the sentence "You have already built before then?"

"Only places that were designed to kill." Pharros admitted with a wave of the hand before she clapped her own together "But contraptions and the like are what you want? A theatre is some big work…where are we going to do so?"

Nero raised a single finger before she lowered it and cupped her chin with her hands "Hmmm. That eludes me for the moment, but do not worry!" she proclaimed loudly, pointing at Pharros "I know of the perfect person to consult!"

"Alright then." Pharros grinned "Let's get to work!" she exclaimed "I can't wait to see Leonardo's face when she sees what I'm working on." there was another pause "I take it you're gonna talk to the white haired woman? Sure that will work?"

"Nonsense." Nero shook her head "She will come around to my way of thinking, merely acting the role of 'hard to get' is all."

"Are you sure?" Pharros raised an eyebrow "Because she looks about ready to bolt from the room whenever she sees you."

"She merely wants me to chase her, is all." Nero explained with a knowing expression, gesturing to herself "Could you imagine anyone who would not wish to lay with me?"

"Boudica."

Nero flinched, her smile turning strained "Y-yes…a-anyone else?"

Pharros shrugged "Probably the blonde Saber that walks around."

"Ash?" The Emperor raised her eyebrows "Nonsense, why would he not want to…ah…wait…" she trailed off and furrowed her brows "...I do not believe he actually knows the intricacies of a relationship."

"I don't believe you do either but whatever." Pharros grunted in response and leaned forwards "So…You're gonna need some voices on your side if you want to turn one of the rooms in Chaldea into a theatre. Any ideas?"

Nero hummed in response, inclining her head to the side and squinting her eyes down the corridor. After a few moments, they widened and her smile grew "I have the perfect plan!"

The helmeted head stared back at them "Why?"

"First things first, why are you wearing a helmet?" Pharros asked as she pointed at his head.

"I was told that my face might elicit a reaction from Lancelot." Ash explained to the pair of them, the two released noises of understanding. "Therefore, I was advised to cover it up for the foreseeable future, at least until Lancelot is in a position where he cannot cause harm to himself or others."

Lancelot's rampage and Verndari getting beaten bloody had spread fast through Chaldea. Not least of all because it sparked a recruitment drive for the new security force that was being led by Arkon.

As it turned out, commanding the city watch of Anor Londo made him the most qualified person for the role.

"I share a face with Sir Gawain, or so I am told." Ash shrugged "Evidently they did not have a good relationship, or it ended poorly. The specifics elude me as of this moment and I have not yet had the opportunity to ask."

Pharros grunted in response "Fair enough. Why don't you just read up about them?"

The box shaped helmet continued to stare at her in silence for a few seconds before it turned towards Nero "So what is it you ask of me?" he clumsily changed the question, Nero looked more pleased that they were getting to the original topic rather than being curious as to why the Saber pointedly avoided bringing up the notion of reading.

"I am going to make a request to Pale Rose!" Nero exclaimed, placing a hand on her chest "I am going to build the Golden Theatre in Chaldea!"

Ash stared at her in more silence before his head angled itself to the side in a show of confusion "Why would you do that?"

Nero blinked, furrowing her brows "What do you mean?"

"Why would you build a theatre in Chaldea?" Ash asked again with palpable puzzlement in his voice "It is not…" he trailed off, looking away for a moment before returning his attention to her "It is not necessary to-"

"Of course it is!" Nero cut him off with a frown "Where else would I perform?"

"You wouldn't." Ash replied as if the answer was obvious "There is neither the justification nor the need for you to perform in any capacity. We already humour the work of the crossbreed and her capacity for song is physically harmful for all those who listen to it. As the situation stands, I am dubious to allow any other to begin such an endeavour."

He looked between them "Not least of all because it would actively encourage Elizabeth to pursue her distraction at the cost of others' wellbeing." Ash pointed at himself "I have already made my position clear to Ritsuka on this matter, while your…frivolous nature is not something I can control, that does not mean I will condone it in any way nor will I aid you in bringing harm to others."

Nero frowned at him, placing her hands on her hips "But how will the people of Chaldea find the time to make merry?"

"They should not need to 'make merry'." Ash countered swiftly "There are more important concerns than pursuing distractions which provide hollow comfort." He looked up and behind him as he heard the door go, watching as Verndari walked out of the cubicle they were standing near with cleaning supplies in her hand.

She turned towards them and gave a single nod before she turned away and walked off, moving towards the next cleaning site.

Ash turned back to them "Focus on pursuing the purpose you were summoned for." he pointed at Pharros "Aid Ritsuka in the development of contraptions that would aid him." he then pointed to Nero "...You were a leader, no? Give him advice on the subject." lowering his arm, he stepped away from them "Now then, I must continue to observe Verndari and ensure they-"

"How can you expect people to function if they do not have some manner of festival regularly?" Nero asked, tilting her head at the Saber "Surely you do not expect them to be brought fulfilment through their jobs alone?"

"That is exactly what I expect of them and it should be exactly what they find fulfilling." Ash countered swiftly in a toneless voice "Anything else would be damaging to the greater duty we all share." turning away from them, he retreated down the corridor.

Nero gave a sigh and shook her head while Pharros raised an eyebrow "Now what?" she asked, directing the question to the Emperor.

"Now we convince someone of the value of concerts!" Nero proclaimed before shaking her head "But first, we do need someone who can actually aid us in our endeavour."

"U-uhm…" The pair turned around at the subtle cough behind them, watching a pair of golden wings give an occasional beat to keep a certain Goddess of luck floating just above the pair of them. Caffrey gave the pair of them a slightly nervous smile "I-I might be willing to lend my aid to a certain pair of mortals."

She paused for a moment, eyes shifting pointedly at the pair of them before she jutted her chin upwards and looked away, folding her arms imperiously and giving off a feel of superiority "If they were to ask nicely that is!" she added on. Her right eyelid opened up and took another quick glance at the pair before it closed shut.

Pharros and Nero exchanged a glance with each other before they looked back at Caffrey.

"Oh?" Nero gave a predatory smile as she leaned forwards, placing her hands on her hips "Is that so? Of course, Rome would always be willing to accept the blessing of the Gods and for a Goddess of Fortune to have a hand in the construction of my Golden Theatre…"

"Exactly!" Caffrey's face lit up, a wide smile adorning her soft features and her arms spreading wide "It would be really neat, wouldn't it? That's the sort of thing a Goddess is supposed to do, right?" she paused, realising the excitement she had shown and quickly schooling her features, a light blush of embarrassment fluttered through her cheeks "I-I mean…Yes. The blessing of the Goddess Caffrey would most certainly be a boon to your theatre."

Pharros snorted, covering up her laugh with her fist and turning away from Caffrey. The Goddess narrowed her eyes at the response and pointed at the Caster "Did you just laugh at me?"

"N-no." Pharros coughed, shaking her head and schooling her features. She wasn't quite able to hide the mirth in her eyes nor the twitching of her lip however. "S-so can we request the Goddess Caffrey bless this endeavour?"

Caffrey looked at Pharros in suspicion for a few moments before she made a 'hmph' noise and crossed her arms again "Very well." she turned her voice deep, trying to make herself sound more formal "I shall adhere to this request of yours. From this moment onwards, the Goddess Caffrey shall provide aid to you on all future endeavours regarding this project and ensure the culmi-culmini-culman…" Caffrey sputtered through several words before she pouted, puffing out her cheeks "To help it get done."

Pharros raised up her hand, covering up her face and turned around. Muffled laughter came from her moments later, dropping into a wheezing fit as Nero continued to smile at the Goddess.

"Wonderful!" The Emperor proclaimed, spreading her arms wide and approaching the floating Goddess "With the blessing of such a powerful Goddess, we have already succeeded!"

"Yeah!" Caffrey punched her fist into the air before she paused and swiftly brought it back to her side "I-I mean. Of course." she nodded again with a stern look "Naturally."

"So what else do we need?" Pharros asked, looking down at Nero. The Emperor hummed in response and cupped her chin.

"We need someone who can function as the 'muscle' so to speak." She then turned to Caffrey "Do you know of anyone, Goddess?"

Caffrey gave a thoughtful hum for a few moments before she widened her eyes and grinned "I know someone!"

Caffrey led the other two further through the halls of Chaldea, eventually coming to a halt in front of one of the converted storage rooms and then threw open the doors.

"Harken mortal! The Goddess Caffrey has-" She was cut off by a wave of black smoke rushing over her face, the girl staggered backwards and coughed violently, hunching over and continuing to sputter while going red in the face.

"What kinda idiots burst into a smith's forge without even knockin'?" Andre's voice came from the smoke, the giant man walked through the black smoke and into the hallway, sweat dripped from his large frame and his muscles bulged from recent work. "Oh, you lot." he muttered, looking between the trio with a raised eyebrow and staring at Caffrey as she continued to cough.

Sighing to himself, Andre nodded his head into the room and turned around, moving across the room to one of the work benches and picking up a clear plastic bottle of water and turning back to the three, extending his hand towards Caffrey.

The girl - with her face covered in black smoke - took the water and quickly downed it before handing the empty bottle back. Then made a muffled noise when Andre grabbed a rag and wiped it across her face, removing most of the filth from her face. "Better?"

Caffrey made a face, tears building up in her eyes but the girl very clearly refused to cry.

Rolling his eyes at the display, Andre turned to the other two "What do the three of ya' need?"

Nero waved her hand, sending a cloud of smoke away from her and looking around with a frown "Why on earth is it so smoky in here?"

"Was workin' on a new blade." Andre explained casually, throwing a thumb over his shoulder "Supposed to burn whatever it hits. Was givin' it a few practice swings." he coughed once, belching out black smoke and causing Pharros and Nero to lean back in an effort to avoid it "Worked at least."

"...So I see." Pharros muttered in reply, looking the man up and down before she squinted her eyes at him "...Have we met before?"

"Don't know." Andre replied with a shrug "Might have done, met a lotta people over the years."

"I'm sure it might come back to me eventually." Pharros dismissed easily enough with a shake of the head before she placed her hands on her hips "Anyway, I'm certain you're wondering why we're here."

Andre raised an eyebrow "The thought had crossed my mind." he replied back in a curious tone of voice before he looked at the other two "'specially with such…company."

"We are here to procure your services!" Nero exclaimed as "Naturally you will be credited."

Andre's eyebrow remained raised "Services? Ya' want a sword or somethin'?"

Nero shook her head "Nothing like that." she dismissed "We are going to employ you as a builder."

The smith squinted at her, then raised a single finger before he turned around and walked towards the racks of weapons he had up, stepping over the dirt coloured fur of Sif as he did so, and grabbed a spear off its holder, then turned around and held it up "What's this?"

"...A spear?"

"Right." Andre grunted, then placed the spear back and picked up a sword "And this?"

"A sword."

"Yeah…" Andre placed the sword back, then picked up a double bladed axe "And th-"

"Alright already." Pharros raised her hand, cutting him off and sighing loudly "We get it. You're a blacksmith, not a builder. Do you truly not know how to make anything other than weapons?" she paused before shaking her head "Besides, we only need you to refine the metal. Myself and Nero can handle the shaping of it."

The smith remained silent for a moment before he placed the axe back on the rack and turned around to face the group once again. "Alright." he grunted, stepping over Sif, walking back towards them and crossing his arms. "Need metal refined do ya'? I can do that." he nodded at the group, much to their elation or relief "What ya' buildin' anyway?"

"A theatre." Nero stated easily, widening her arms as a gesture "A grand, golden theatre that all Chaldea can enjoy!"

Andre squinted at her before he grunted and shook his head "Nevermind, forget I asked." He turned away from the group and walked back to where he had been working, sitting himself back down upon his stool "Alright, I'll help ya'. Have ya' figured out where yer' buildin' it?"

Nero closed her mouth, then looked around "Well…we're working on that part of it." she explained slowly with a nervous smile, earning a roll of the eyes from Andre. "But don't worry, we'll get right on that!"

"Hmmm." Andre hummed in response, then turned towards Sif "Oi, mutt!" he called out, Sif groaned as he raised his head up and turned towards them. Giving a single yawn. Andre gestured to the group "Go help them find somewhere to build there…whatever."

Sif stared at him with a half-lidded expression, then drifted his attention over to the three standing by the door. Giving a slow blink, Sif stretched himself out and climbed to his feet. Shaking the dust free from his fur and sitting down, towering over the Servants and being tall enough to look Andre in the eye.

Nero blinked once "...You'll get some meat if you help?"

The wolf squinted his eyes for a moment before nodding once, getting back onto all fours and plodding over to the group, passing by them and walking straight out of the door.

"Guess we're going back to walking around then." Pharros suggested, then turned to Caffrey and sighed. The Goddess was still picking at her hair, giving a puffy eyed look at the black streaks of smog now running through her luscious locks. "You can have a hot shower when we're done."

"A shower…?" Caffrey parroted, then turned to Pharros with a frown, waving her wings around "Have you ever tried moving water logged wings?"

"No."

"It isn't easy…" Caffrey muttered back, then sent a glowering look in Andre's direction as he went back to his forge. The Goddess muttered something under her breath and her golden eyes brightened for a moment before they dimmed. She gave a single - somewhat vicious - smirk in the smith's direction before she turned back around and waddled back over to the door and joined Sif outside.

Andre watched the other two depart, shaking his head at them and then raising his hammer, already preparing to work on the next sword while he awaited whatever it was they were going to bring to him. He didn't know the first thing about building houses or whatnot but if it was just tempering the metal, he could do that easily enough.

Raising up his hammer, he brought it down as hard as he could.

Directly onto his thumb.

"FU-"

"-CK!"

"My word." Nero frowned, turning around to the direction of the scream and placing her hands on her hips. Shaking her head "Quite the loud voice he has, I wonder if he has injured himself?"

"Oh, I'm sure he's fine." Caffrey dismissed with a simple wave of the hand and an all too innocent expression as she walked forwards, she caught Sif giving her the closest approximation of an amused look. She shot him a glance and raised her finger in front of her mouth.

Sif rolled his eyes and shook his head as he walked forwards.

"Alright then, wolf." Nero stated as she caught up with the large beast, raising her hand and placing it atop their head "We're looking for a location that can serve our needs most splendidly. An area with a large room and not currently in use that we might alter."

Pharros raised an eyebrow "Whatever happened to asking permission?"

"If we asked permission, they might say no." Nero replied casually "But if we build it first, then tearing it down would seem like such a waste, wouldn't it? So we shall build it first and then unveil it!"

"Better to ask forgiveness than permission, eh?"

"Forgiveness?" Nero blinked owlishly at her "Why would I ask forgiveness for giving the people of Chaldea such a gift?"

Pharros sighed to herself before turning to Sif and raising an eyebrow "So, any ideas boy?"

Sif released a grunt followed by a series of low growling sounds. He got blank looks in response from the assembled trio as they all exchanged glances with each other before Pharros and Nero looked at Caffrey.

The Goddess was similarly stumped, then noticed the expectant glances "I can't understand him either." she explained, frowning slightly and pointing to the wolf "Just because he was with a lordkin once doesn't mean we can all speak wolf."

"Ah, alright then." Nero coughed once, then looked at Sif and removed her hand "So…what do we do now? None of us speak wolf."

"Just ask him to lead us to all the spare rooms, I suppose." Pharros suggested "It could work easily enough. We would still need a fairly large room." she realised, her right hand cupping her chin and her eyes turning thoughtful "I do not believe Chaldea has any large rooms that could service for such a development, save the Simulator."

"Umu." Nero grunted in response, putting on a similarly puzzled expression as she scratched Sif behind the ear in an idle fashion, the wolf inclined his head ever so slightly in her direction so she could get to one of his preferred spots.

Placing her hands on her hips, Caffrey hummed in thought as well before she raised her hand "Why don't we build one?"

The other two blinked at her.

"Build one?"

"Yeah…" She went on "We're on a mountain or something along those lines, are we not? We could simply build further into the mountain."

Nero frowned "But would we not be discovered?"

"No…" Pharros shook her head, grinning to herself "The power is out on the lower levels of Chaldea and they are closer to the mountain than the upper sections. With the alarms disabled, we could very easily punch a hole into the walls and then start to tunnel outwards and further into the mountain. There would be plenty of room. I suppose the only thing we would need to concern ourselves with is tools but I can easily handle it on that side of the problem."

She looked to the other three "I'll head up to the command room and have a quick look at the schematics. They've been preparing me as an auxiliary Rayshift operator so I have access to that sort of information." she paused, then gave a goofy smile "Also computers and really amazing."

"So, you will find a place we can use and then build our operation from there." Nero decided, pointing at her "We would need to craft items to further our expansion but beyond that it would be a trivial feat indeed! Umu, Umu!"

"We'd obviously need to recruit some more assistance, but I can leave that in your capable hands." Pharros explained as she started to walk away, then paused and turned back, cupping her hands around her mouth "And don't tell Leonardo about this! I want it to be a surprise!"

"Naturally!" Nero exclaimed loudly "What good is a surprise if everyone knew of it?"

Caffrey and Sif exchanged silent and knowing glances at one another, both rather dumbfounded by the complete lack of subtlety that the pair of eccentric women seemed to exude.

Giving the group a parting wave, Pharros rushed away from them and down the hallway in the direction of the closest elevator.

Nero, Caffrey and Sif watched her depart before the Emperor turned to the other two and sported a - now trademark - smirk on her face. "Come then, allies!" she exclaimed, pointing towards with one hand still on her hip "Let us find more like minded helpers!" That said, she all but strutted down the hall, drowning in her own confidence.

Caffrey watched her march before she gave a single grunt and followed after her, wings carrying her slightly higher into the air and allowing her to casually keep pace with the Emperor.

"There is no way this isn't going to be a disaster." Sif said to himself, fully aware that there was no one around who could actually understand him. However, he just felt that it needed to be said by someone before the inevitable backlash. It might not be immediate and they might even build their large theatre unnoticed.

But there was most certainly going to be a backlash for it.

With that in mind, Sif resigned himself to the inevitable and plodded along, following after the pair.

Nero burst into the cafeteria, swiftly flanked by Caffrey and Sif. The blonde haired woman narrowed her eyes as she started to scan the faces, humming to herself as she looked to find those who would most certainly appreciate the aesthetic while also being able to offer reliable assistance.

Her eyes swiftly landed on the table of French Servants, one in particular. Marie Antoinette, with all the decor that France was famous for during her reign and even before the Queen surely had some knowledge in the art of architecture.

"Umu!" She decided, then marched across the room towards the Queen, then felt a burning gaze directed at her side. Sneaking a glance to the right, she locked eyes with Boudica as she gave her a dull look from across the room. Nero made a small noise before she sped up, moving faster than before and all but running across to the French woman.

Marie caught sight of her, giving a surprised blink before her face turned into a smile "Oh! Hello, Emperor Nero!" the ruler greeted with a nod of the head, then blinked and squinted her eyes at the Roman. "Hmmmmm. You…you have a strange resemblance to Jeanne…"

"Really?" Nero blinked before she beamed, placing her hand on her chest and giving a prideful look "Then the girl has been blessed with great beauty."

Mozart sent her a side eyed glance from the right of her before he shrugged and went back to his coffee. Despite his nonchalance, he couldn't quite hide his curiosity at the Roman Emperor deciding to seek out the help of Marie for something.

Shaking her head, Nero rested her hands on the table and leaned over it. "However, discussion of my beauty can wait for a later date." the woman shivered for a moment. "Those are words I never expected to say." she muttered to herself, raising her voice back up again as she continued onwards "But allow me to get to the point of my being here."

"This should be good." Mozart quipped from her side, Marie sent him a flat look for a moment to which he responded with an innocent smile.

"I suppose I can help if I am able." Marie replied as she looked back towards Nero "What did you need assistance with?"

"Well…I have recently started work on a large scale project." Nero's voice dropped into a quiet whisper "And I am looking for Servants who would share in my aesthetic vision. Do you know anything about building large ostentatious rooms?"

Mozart paused mid-sip, the man blinked several times before he turned towards Nero and furrowed his brow "...What on earth are you doing that would require someone knowledgeable of that?"

Nero gave him a look as though he had said something stupid "Because I'm going to build the golden theatre in Chaldea."

Mozart gave another blink "And why would you not use the Simulator?"

Nero raised an eyebrow "Would you prefer to conduct an orchestra of summons or one of flesh and blood?"

"...Fair enough." Mozart admitted with a shrug of his shoulders, leaning back in his chair slightly "I would prefer a true piano that had been hand crafted to one that can be just summoned up at will but I'm not that picky on it."

"Liar." Marie sniped from across the table, pointing at him "You don't care so long as it sounds nice."

"I have to have some semblance of class." Mozart replied back with an honest chuckle "Imagine if people thought of me as some hapless floozy?"

Marie raised an eyebrow at him "Implying they don't already?"

"Ummm…" Nero coughed into her hand and looked between the two of them "So…about my theatre?"

"Hm?" Marie turned to her and made a noise of remembrance "Oh! Yes!" she nodded her head rapidly "Helping to build a big palace." she hummed, cupping her chin "Well…I haven't done it before and…" her eyes darkened as she stared to the side "And…well…me and luxury…"

"Don't worry about a thing!" Nero exclaimed, reaching over and patting Marie on the shoulder "I guarantee that everyone will love it when they find out!"

Mozart furrowed his brows slightly, sending a suspicious glance at Nero "Hang on, what do you mean when they find out about it?" he leaned forwards "Didn't you ask them first?"

Nero remained tellingly silent before she backed away from the table and turned away, looking to see Caffrey and Sif discussing something with some of the other Servants. Surprisingly, they were currently speaking with Havel.

The Goddess was making several gestures with her hands, pointing to herself and then to the far away wall before she stopped and gestured to the Berserker. Havel crossed his arms, staring at her for a few moments before he shrugged his shoulders and waved his hand dismissively at her and then returned to his food.

Caffrey turned around, sporting a wide smile and locked eyes with Nero. The Goddess gave a single ecstatic nod of the head confirming she had managed to win the support of Havel in the endeavour. Nero responded with a nod of her own.

"Excellent." She turned back to Marie "I shall make contact with you once again to confirm the plans that we develop!" she exclaimed, turning around and rushing towards the exit once again "Farewell, friends!"

Siegward raised an eyebrow as he watched Nero sprint out of the cafeteria, closely followed by Sif and Caffrey. The Catarinan knight lowered the glass he was drying up and gave a curious hum "I wonder what she is so pleased with?"

"It probably isn't anything good." Boudica grunted in response as she moved the dirty plates and cutlery over to the sink "Anything that she's doing that manages to generate such a reaction from her can mean only trouble for everyone else?"

"Really?" Siegward asked, turning to face her and blinking once, he raised his hand and gestured to the door "She also had the Goddess Caffrey with her, the young girl doesn't seem like such a troublemaker."

"She's rather childish." Boudica explained with a wave of her hand, turning to face the onion knight "With how she sometimes acts, hard to believe she's probably older than me."

"Well, we Servants are summoned in our prime, are we not?" Siegward responded with an intrigued hum "So would that not mean she reached her prime during childhood?" he sighed "To be honest, I believe that rather tragic."

The Iceni Queen remained silent, her eyes looked down for a moment and her lips drew themselves into a thin line "...I suppose not." she muttered lowly before she sighed, reaching up and rubbing her brow. "Still, I can't shake the feeling that whatever that woman is doing is only going to cause everyone a headache."

Siegward gave an amused chuckle "Yes, well…" he moved back and resumed drying the glass in his other hand "No one ever said she wasn't going to cause a problem. However, I do not believe there would be any malicious intent within it."

Boudica stared at him for a moment before shaking his head "It would probably be easier to hate her if there was." she mumbled to herself.

"Hm?" Siegward perked up, looking over his shoulder at her "Did you say something?"

"...No." Boudica replied after a moment of silence "Nothing important."

Siegward stared at her for a moment longer before he shrugged and turned back to the glass. Wiping off the last remnant of bubbly water from it and then placing it down before he reached for another one to dry.

Nero paced around the room, humming to herself as she, Caffrey and Sif waited in her room. They were expecting Pharros to arrive shortly and had since made plans to draw up design layouts and work schedules so they could begin in earnest, including the others who they were expecting to arrive so that they could begin the initial planning stages of the new creation.

There was a knock at the door, Nero turned her head towards it and called out "You can enter!"

The door opened up, Pharros stepped inside with a smile on her face while being followed by Marie and Mozart.

The lumbering form of Havel was not far behind them, the Berserker gave Pharros a single glance before he released a displeased noise and marched across the room to where Sif and Caffrey were, then stood by them.

Pharros gave him a half-lidded expression "You know, I don't use Sorcery all that much."

Havel merely looked at her through his helmet as if to say 'and?' before he turned away from her and looked back at Nero. Folding his large arms across his chest and leaning back against the wall. There was a dull creak of metal and for a moment there was a slight concern that Havel's body was going to break through the wall.

When nothing happened after a few moments, the group let out a sigh of relief that they had avoided causing serious damage to the room, then returned their attention to Nero as she clapped once.

"So, these are the initial volunteers?" Nero asked, giving a once over of the group in front of her before humming to herself "Umu, umu! Excellent! I am glad you are all willing to lend me your aid in the construction of the Golden Theatre here in Chaldea!"

"Question." Marie raised her hand with a serious face, Nero nodded to her once to continue "Does it have to be the Golden theatre?"

"...Uh…what do you mean?"

"I mean…" Marie's expression cycled through several emotions as she tried to articulate what she was trying to say "We have a lot of different Servants here, right?"

Nero nodded.

"So why don't we…be a bit more adventurous?"

Nero furrowed her brows "Adventurous?"

"Yeah!" Marie nodded her head enthusiastically "Why not combine the different cultures and make it more unique. Something that won't exist anywhere else?"

Caffrey's brows rose up her forehead as she considered the idea, then looked around and saw a few other faces of realisation come to the faces of the Servants "Hey…that's actually a good idea!" the Goddess exclaimed as she stood up "In Heide we have the auditorium that was modelled after the one in Anor Londo, at least that's what father said!"

Havel made a noise "Always…looked…tacky." the Berserker grunted out in a disinterested voice "Decorations…too…much."

Caffrey sent him an odd look for a moment before she shook her head and turned towards Marie "Do you mean to suggest some manner of collaboration between the different styles?"

The French Queen nodded her head, pointing at Caffrey "That is it! We have a lot of creative people in Chaldea, so it would seem a waste not to use all their talents, wouldn't it?"

"There is sense in that suggestion." Pharros admitted as she cupped her chin and gave a single nod of the head, looking towards Nero and inclining her head to the side slightly "It would certainly make use of the talents of all those involved and would definitely be unlike anything created before."

Nero remained silent, the Emperor placed her hands on her hips and furrowed her brows in thought. On the one hand, she had been set on the reconstruction of her Golden Theatre, but on the other hand the suggestion of a grand collaboration between not just different kingdoms but also different worlds that came together and built up a theatre that all could enjoy seemed like an opportunity too great to not pursue.

"Umu!" Nero's expression split into a wide and confident smile "That is indeed a perfect idea! The Chaldean Theatre!"

"It would also mean that we could incorporate Servants who have little knowledge of Rome." Mozart added on, placing his hands on his knees and offering his own two francs on the situation "I'm merely suggesting though. I'm sure it can't go wrong in any capacity at all."

"First thing is first." Nero raised her hand and pointed to Pharros "Were you able to determine a suitable location for us to begin construction?"

Pharros stepped forwards, reaching into her robe and withdrawing a piece of paper with the schematics of Chaldea upon it. "I was able to get the basic layout of the public places in Chaldea. The areas that the common staff would be familiar with so certain locations are blocked out but that is of little concern to us right now." she explained as she walked towards the bedside table and dragged it towards the centre of the room, then placed the paper down atop it "According to these plans, there is a storage room on the eleventh floor of Chaldea." she pointed down at the paper "It is positioned deep enough into the mountain that we would have room to build in any direction for a decent distance and is close enough to the mountain that we could build it outwards by only cutting through an - admittedly thick - steel wall."

"Need…cutting." Havel grunted from the side as he walked towards the paper and tapped a large hand against it "Rock…thick." he went on further, articulating as best he could "Heavy…work."

"Can you do it, Bishop Havel?" Caffrey asked behind him, the stone armoured Berserker shifted his head to stare at her as she clasped her hands together and gave him a wide eyed pleading expression. "Please? I'll give you luck if you do!"

Havel stared at her for a few moments of silence before he released a deep rumbling snort, then reached over and rested his palm on her head and nustled her hair. Unfortunately, the size of his hand easily engulfed the top half of her head and when he retracted his hand, her blonde hair was a frazzled mess and the girl was standing still with a blank look on her face.

Caffrey reached up to her head, then sniffed once as she felt the mess. Nero chuckled in an amused tone, moving to one of her drawers and opening up, taking out a comb and handing it to the Goddess - who gratefully accepted it - before she turned to Havel.

"Shall I take this as acceptance?"

Havel nodded once "Will…need…pick."

"Andre has already confirmed he would be willing to aid in the construction." Pharros informed the Bishop, causing him to grunt in response. "He would likely be more amenable to making building tools first before we attempt to branch out further." she cupped her chin "The other issue I can think of is resources."

"Just collect them from the Singularity." Mozart casually offered with a shrug "Just grab some and put it in one of those funny boxes you carry that are bigger on the inside, that is possible no?"

Pharros opened her mouth to respond before she paused and turned to the musician "...That is actually a reasonable suggestion."

"Yeah." Marie nodded her head "He has those sometimes. It's very strange."

"I shall endeavour to act more like a fool from now on then." Mozart chuckled to himself as he leaned back, then pointed at the others "So…what type of design are we going for here?"

Marie stared at him with a raised eyebrow "We? You're going to help as well?"

Mozart blinked owlishly "Oh no!" he exclaimed with a shake of the head "Goodness me, look at that slip of the tongue. I meant you all." he gestured to his hands "Could you imagine me trying to do any physical work? That would be an utter disaster. Not to mention the damage it would do to my hands. Dreadful."

The look Marie gave him indicated that was the response she had been expecting from the very beginning.

"That being said, the pervert does raise a good point." Marie continued on, ignoring the eye roll that Mozart gave her "We are going to need to draw up some designs before we begin actual work. Some construction and the like…planning."

"I can help with that part." Pharros stated, crossing her arms and giving a confident smirk "I did aid the construction of the underground rat burrows."

Mozart squinted at her "When you say rats…were these the same rodents who smelled bad and spoke in French?"

"I don't know what French is." Pharros blandly replied to him "But they did speak, yes,"

"Ah, yes." Mozart nodded his head "I've met their King. He seemed rather annoyed by me."

"Having met you, I can't imagine why."

"You say the sweetest things, my dear."

Nero coughed loudly, bringing the attention of the room back onto her "As I was saying, we shall spend the coming days finalising the designs now that we have mapped out the location. As more Servants arrive, we shall determine to find those who would be willing to aid us." she leaned forwards, resting her hands on the table "Remember, this is a surprise…so we must remain silent until the moment of unveiling." she looked around "Understood?"

She got nods of the head in response.

"Umu!" Leaning back, Nero spread her arms wide "Then let the birth of the Chaldean Theatre begin!"

AN: Yep…Welcome to the DIY saga.

We'll get it updated every now and again but just think of this as something that is happening behind the scenes until it gets introduced.

And we will get more Servants involved with it. Count on that.
