Pokémon: Sinnoh no Isekai
Chapter Two-hundred and thirty-two: It's movie making magic evaluation time!
The reborn trainers had gone to see Ash over at Professor Kukui's house to see how he's doing. When they arrived, they saw that Ash was training with his Pokémon, obviously getting ready for the upcoming Alola League Conference. Ash was working with all of his Pokémon, both ones he brought with him to Alola and ones that he's caught in Alola. Right now, Ash was supervising the training of Pikachu, Greninja, Torracat, Dartrix, Mimikyu, and Meltan.
"How goes the training, Ash?" Dawn asked, making Ash look up from the training and turn to see that Dawn, Kenny, and Trip had shown up.
Calling for his Pokémon to take a break from training, Ash turned back to face the reborn trainers. "We're going pretty well if I do say so myself," Ash replied, "Dartrix seems like he's welling with power but it having trouble pushing it out to use in battle."
Kenny turned to regard Ash's Dartrix; no longer the sleepy and lazy Rowlet it used to be, Ash's Dartrix was now a keen, alert, serious one. And Ash's assesment seemed to be right on the money, as Dartrix looked like it was ready to unleash a new burst of power, but there was something blocking it off from being unleashed. Turning to look at Ash, Kenny said, "Maybe the lads here and I can help you and your Dartrix. We were gonna do some training after we find Iris to bust her chops."
Ash folded his arms over his chest, a suspicious look on his face. "You know, I find it odd that Iris is still in Alola ever since she came here after hearing Ayane was caught, and figured she could demand Reshiram's ball be turned over from Ayane to her so she could take it back to Unova and release Reshiram in the wild there, citing how it'd be a cultural and political win for Unova."
"Yeah, but it was released before Iris got here and then Dawn ended up catching it," Trip said, "But that's a bit off subject. Iris is still here because she got it that Admin Mage is heading the sector of Team Scorn native to Alola. And as we all know, Admin Mage, whose real name is Tetsuya, is the guy who killed Clair's shiny Druddigon during the second Team Scorn attack over in Blackthorn City. Obviously, Iris is wanting to track Tetsuya down so she can beat him and get revenge."
Ash arched a wry eyebrow, able to tell something else was up. "...But that's not all, is it." Ash's tone made what he said come off as more stating a fact than asking a question.
Dawn gently shook her head in the negative. "No, she still intends to harass Ideku over how he caught Zekrom and withheld the fact until he used it during the recent Lumiose Conference."
"Iris had better not demand that Ideku hand his Zekrom over to her so she can release it in the wild over in Unova," Kenny said, "Like what she intended to do with Reshiram when she still thought it was still under Ayane's ownership. Although the case with Ayane is reasonable as she's a leading member of a dangerous multi-regional villainous organization, Ideku has proven many times over that he's wholly heroic, and in fact often fights off the aforementioned dangerous multi-regional villainous organization."
Folding her arms over her chest, Dawn said, "Trust me, she won't. I had the foresight to figure she'd try what you just suggested, and warned her that if she did so, then not only would her reputation on an inter-regional scale plummet, but it'd make Unova look even worse than it does right now in inter-regional politics. Given that Unova is receiving NO offers of assistance from outside of its borders to help combat its native sector of Team Scorn, Unova isn't going to want to do anything to make other regions leave it out in the cold."
Ash was about to say something, but he got cut off when Kukui came out of the house. "Hey Ash, we need to go pick someone up from the ferry terminal," Kukui said, "I got a call fro-" Kukui stopped short when he saw that Dawn, Kenny, and Trip were here. "Oh, you guys came on by to see Ash, yeah? Well you guys can come along to help us pick up Ash's friend from Unova."
"But Iris is still in Alola," Kenny said, "Wanting to hunt down Admin Mage and try to get up in Ideku's face."
Gently shaking his head, Kukui said, "No, another friend of Ash's from Unova. Some green-haired guy who's dressed like a waiter." Hearing that general description made the reborn trainers, as well as Ash, all have looks of realization on their faces, now knowing full well what Kukui was talking about.

Even though they had figured it out based on the description that Kukui gave, the reborn trainers and Ash were still surprised to see that their friend Cilan from Unova had come to Alola. "Cilan!" Kenny said, "Long time no see, man! What brings you here to the Alola region?"
"Well Kenny," Cilan began, "It actually has to do with you."
"What did Kenny do this time?" Dawn asked, folding her arms over her chest.
Gently shaking his head, Cilan said with a gentle smile, "He's not in trouble or anything. It actually has to do with Kenny Harris Studios."
Trip arched a wry eyebrow. "Kenny's movie making studio?"
"Yes," Cilan replied, "You guys remember Brycen?"
"Ice type gym leader in Unova who was an actor," Kenny summed up, "Yeah, what about him?"
"He and I watched the movies you've made thus far," Cilan explained, "And he feels you have a lot of promise as someone with a movie studio. He had asked me to come here to see you and learn a bit more."
Ash nodded once in understanding. "Oh yeah, that makes sense."
Cilan nodded once to Ash in acknowledgement before turning to face Dawn. "As for you Dawn, I'm actually rather worried about you."
Dawn, looking mildly curious, said, "Why are you worried about me?"
Gesturing to Dawn, Cilan explained with a mildly worried look on his face, "Your weight not only keeps fluctuating, but at a rather rapid rate. I've picked up on this since you were rather fat in the first movie Kenny made, but then back to thin in the next one, then you were rather fat again in the latest one, and now you're back to being thin. Are... are you okay health-wise?"
"Cilan, Dawn wore a fat suit for those roles," Trip pointed out, "She's never actually had problems with her weight."
Cilan, with a mildly embarrassed look on his face, said, "Oh, umm... well Brycen did say that it was a possibility. Sorry."
Folding his arms over his chest, Kenny said, "You aren't the only one who thought that Dawn had legit issues with her weight because of her using a fat suit for some of her roles in the movies I've made." With a sudden look of inspiration on his face, Kenny clapped his hands together. "Luckily for us, the next movie I plan to have come out of Kenny Harris Studios not only won't require anyone to wear a fat suit, but the movie idea is more possible since both you and Iris are here in Alola! The only way it'd be better would be if Bianca was here as well!"
"Oh yeah, I did hear that Iris was here in Alola," Cilan remarked, "And what's your idea for a movie?"
Pointing at Cilan, Kenny said, "You'll see when I gather a meeting to discuss the movie plan."
...
Later, Kenny had gathered all of the classmates he and the other heroes had, as well as others such as Gladion, Paul, Ideku, and Katsuku. Cilan had also shown up, as did Iris who upon seeing Ideku IMMEDIATELY tried launching into him, only for her flying jump kick to be caught by Ideku at her foot, then thrown back. Kenny told Iris to sit down and shut up, as not only was everyone there to discuss the next Kenny Harris Studios movie, but it was going to be the most ambitious one to date, made all the more possible as everyone from the heroes' group while traveling through Unova was present aside from Bianca, and even then she was going to be coming to Alola soon as Kenny was successfully able to summon her.
After everyone was settled down, the movie pitching began. "Wait a minute," Trip said, "Your next idea for a movie is gonna be one of those 'based off of a true story' type movies that retells how we took down Team Rocket late into our time while traveling through Unova?"
Kenny nodded in the affirmative. "We can also pass it off as a history project, given that it will be a telling of an account of a significantly historical event in history."
Folding his arms over his chest, Katsuku said, "I figure that since you and some of the others were the ones involved, you guys will be playing the roles of your respective selves."
"That's kind of a given," Kenny said, "So yeah, Ash will play the role of Ash, Dawn will play the role of Dawn, and so on and so forth." Gesturing to himself, Kenny said, "For scenes where I will be playing myself, I'll have Cilan run the camera as he's got some movie experience, outside of scenes in the movie that will also require him in which case Clemont will run the camera."
"So for those who weren't there when we took Team Rocket down in Unova," Dawn began, "I assume that they'll play the roles of persons who were there?"
Kenny nodded once in the affirmative before turning around and proceeding to write on the dry erase board. "Now one of the most important group of characters for the movie will be the Team Rocket boss, Gio-vah-ninny, and the trio of idiots who used to be of Team Rocket but now are of Team Scorn, Jessie, James, and Meowth."
"Uhh, I'm pretty sure the Team Rocket boss's name was pronounced 'Giovanni'," Trip said as he raised a hand, "Not 'Gio-vah-ninny'."
Waiving a hand dismissively, Kenny said, "It's been a while, details are bound to get messed up. Anyway, we don't have a Meowth to use to play the bad guy talking Meowth as he's a Kantonian Meowth, and I wanna be as faithful to historically accurate facts as much as possible. Ergo, I don't plan to have Darknyan play the role of evil bad guy Meowth, due to Darknyan being an Alolan Meowth."
"So how will we manage the talking Meowth?" Kiawe asked, raising a hand.
"I plan to make a Meowth costume for one of the guys to wear and have them play the role of Meowth," Kenny said, "And it'll be a really crummy Meowth costume to make a jab at the real talking Meowth over his crummy Sunflora costume he wore when he as well as Jessie and James did those museum robbing shenanigans in Eterna City back in Sinnoh."
Dawn arched a surprised eyebrow at what Kenny said. "...I'm surprised you're able to remember details like that which are really far back in the past."
Kenny then proceeded to write a few more names on the dry erase board. "A few other roles will also need to be covered, like Cynthia, Looker for some extra spice, the Forces of Nature, that Dr. Zager jerk-waffle-"
Holding up a hand, Paul said, "I just remembered that I had actually helped to take down and capture two notable members of Team Rocket, fellows named Attila and Hun, while I was working on redeeming myself."
Pointing commendingly at Paul, Kenny said, "Ooh, that's a good point."
"What do you mean by the 'Forces of Nature'?" Katsuku asked.
"Kenny's talking about the group of legendary Pokémon that Enamorus belongs to," Ideku explained, "The other three are Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus."
"Ooh, that reminds me," Kenny said, "Ideku, I may need you to have your Enamorus agree to play a role as one of the Forces of Nature who were involved in the incident surrounding Team Rocket's downfall. We'd only have to do a little touch up here and there for Enamorus to play one of the other Forces of Nature, as opposed to having to craft costumes for humans to wear, which we'd have to do anyway for at least two."
Holding up a hand, Cilan said, "Umm, I just realized that we're gonna need a floating platform set out in the water, plus boats and maybe a helicopter."
Gesturing to Gladion and Lillie, Kenny said, "Lillie and Gladion's folks are, like, SUPER loaded, and they have all the stuff we need already."
"What makes you think me and Lillie's mom will agree to let you use that stuff?" Gladion asked.
"She already agreed," Kenny explained, drawing surprised looks out of Gladion and Lillie, "Hell, chances are I could probably have her play the role of Cynthia. They're both fair skinned women with hair of similar length and color, all that your mom will need is a slight wardrobe shift and those weird little hair ornament thingies that Cynthia has. You know, the thingies that look like the aura sensor thingies Lucarios have."
"Knowing how big a fan of your movies me and Gladion's mom is," Lillie began, "I bet she'd agree to it in a heartbeat. Also, it doesn't surprise me she was so willing to help you out."
Kenny nodded once in agreement. "Anyway, we're gonna have to do some juggling to manage things when it comes to the Pokémon involved. You particularly Ash, given that aside from Pikachu, none of your on hand Pokémon were around when we tangoed with Team Rocket in Unova. You're also gonna have to get Meloetta."
Ash nodded once in understanding. "Got it."
Paul, with a surprised look on his face, turned to look at Ash. "...Isn't Meloetta a mythical Pokémon?"
"So is Meltan which Ash also caught," Kenny said, "Also, Ash has Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres."
Paul went wide eyed with surprise, but simmered back down. "...I figured it was only a matter of time before Ash got some truly impressive Pokémon. He certainly has proven to be worthy of working with such beings of lore."
Holding up a hand, Mallow said, "So aside from girls who will be playing the roles of themselves as they were there for the events we're going to be reenacting for the movie, when will you hold auditions for roles we can't get the real people to play? I was figuring that I could try being Jessie-"
"Actually," Kenny said, "I wanna try and get either Kiawe or Sophocles to play the role of Jessie, while you or Lana or Lillie or Serena will play James."
"Why..." Trip began, "...Why do you want the girls to play James and the boys to play Jessie?"
"To insult the real Jessie and James," Kenny replied, "It's similar to why the person playing Meowth will wear a really crummy Meowth costume." Without much else, Kenny began to brainstorm with the heroes who were present in Unova to try and write out what had happened in stopping Team Rocket from using the Forces of Nature to their own nefarious ends.
Two days into production, the heroes were surprised to see Bianca arrive in Alola; she got the call from Kenny and, having seen the movies he's produced thus far, was on board with playing a role in one. It was convenient for Bianca that she didn't have to audition for her role in the movie, as the movie was based off of real events that she was present for, so she got to play as herself. The script writing also took a while, mostly because Kenny and the others all had to remember who all was involved in the events that were being reenacted for the movie.
One thing that got Dawn's attention was Kenny getting multiple plushies of dog Pokémon, to which Kenny explained that the person who played Gio-vah-ninny would occasionally drop kick one of them, and it'll happen a few times in the movie. Kenny says that the kicking of dog Pokémon is to help highlight how utterly evil of a person Gio-vah-ninny really is. The reason plushies are being used is because Kenny, even for the sake of a running gag, will not permit real Pokémon to be subject to slapstick as he views it as them being physically abused. He's got no qualms with humans being subjected to it, though.
It's part of why Admin Mage's murdering of Clair's Druddigon has upset Kenny more than any other murder that Team Scorn has been accredited with.
Due to how a number of notable Pokémon were involved in the efforts that ended Team Rocket for good, Ash and the reborn trainers had to do some party rotation in order to get the appropriate Pokémon. This process took a number of days, with Ash and the reborn trainers rotating their parties as need be to help things out. There was also how stuff that Iris's Haxorus did during those events were done by Iris's Emolga in the movie, as Haxorus was an Axew during those events; this required a bit of careful work around on Kenny's part during production.
Kenny also had to secure permission from various persons to use their likenesses in the movie, such as Ridley who worked with Meloetta before Ash caught it. Kenny didn't have to secure permission from Jessie, James, and Meowth on the basis they're criminals, and Kenny also didn't need permission from Gio-vah-ninny to use his likeness on the basis he's a criminal and also dead. Kenny did, however, interview Kahuna Nanu who had a personal friendly history with the late Gio-vah-ninny, although Nanu during the interview did correct Kenny (multiple times) on the pronunciation of Giovanni's name. Also, Cynthia who couldn't come to Alola gave her consent for her likeness to be used in the movie.
The production of 'Crisis in Unova' ended up taking longer than any of the Kenny Harris Studios movies before it, enough so that Kenny gave it double the usual time even though it only really needed a few more days. Even so, the movie came out to rousing success; it was particularly well received in the Unova region, and some folks on the internet found it funny that Jessie and James in the movie were respectively played by Sophocles (in a wig) and Lana. Some Unovans also took note on how the foreigner who used to be their region's Champion, Ideku, played the role of the talking Meowth.
Remembering how the Badorigo parents were throwing a fit until Katsuku was given spotlight in the movies, Kenny made him one of the arresting officers, giving him a rather visible scene where he arrested Paul who played the role of Gio-vah-ninny (Paul wore a special wig that made his hair look much shorter). After the movie came out, Reggie asked why Paul's character had dropped kicked multiple plushies of dog Pokémon while sounds effects were added to make it seem like actual dog Pokémon were being drop-kicked, to which Kenny said Paul was playing the big bad evil guy Gio-vah-ninny the boss of Team Rocket, and to highlight how said person is evil, he was given multiple scenes where he kicked dog Pokémon.

Over at the Team Scorn base hidden somewhere in Alola, Jessie and to a lesser extent James and Meowth were rather annoyed with how they were depicted in 'Crisis in Unova'. Jessie was the most annoyed by far, but James and Meowth were able to calm down and roll with the punches. "Jessie, it's obviously the twerps' way of messing with us," Meowth said.
"They got one of the BOYS in their group to play me!" Jessie snarled, practically seething, "And it's the short, pasty-skinned, nerdy fat one! Ooh, what can be more wrong than him playing the role of me?!"
James was about to speak up, but they were met up by Admin Mage, Admin's Assistant Aya, and Boss's Assistant Ayane, all of which were chuckling. "Guys, did you see how you all were depicted in the movie that just came out from Kenny Harris Studios?" Mage laughed, "Sorry if it insulted you, but it's pretty damn funny!"
"Yeah, Meowth and I are just rolling with the punches," James said, "It's mainly Jessie who's offended."
Gesturing to Ayane, Jessie said, "Well what about you? The twerps got the boy you were leading along to play the role of Meow-"
"Don't..." Ayane began, her tone firm and serious, "...Remind me about Ideku Badorigo. Not right now." Jessie instantly got the idea that pressing the matter would be a bad idea, so she wisely decided to yield. "Anyway," Ayane said as she turned to face James, getting his attention in the process, "There's something that I want you to do for me, Captain James."
Coming to attention, James asked, "What is it, ma'am?"
Gesturing to James, Ayane said, "There's some weird tourist attraction in Malie City that's passing itself off as a Pokémon Gym based on the gyms in the Kanto region," Ayane said, "Given that the Alola region has recently announced the beginning of its Pokémon League, this 'Kantonian Gym' as the place is being advertised as might be the start of a force that will breathe down the neck of Team Scorn's Scarf Sector. Go find out what all it is about."
"Yes ma'am," James replied as he along with Meowth and Jessie saluted Ayane. Jessie was about to go about gathering a count of Scorn grunts they'd need to help them with the mission, but James pointed out that this mission didn't necessarily require going in with a force; they just have to gather intel, something they can do with guile as opposed to active force. Jessie relented, although she said that she still wanted to wreck something. It was obvious that Jessie was still steamed that Kenny had made Sophocles depict her in the 'Crisis in Unova' movie.
Later on, the heroes and their classmates were in Malie City to check out the tourist attraction that they heard of called the 'Kantonian gym'. As an oddly appearing space of wall made Lana suspicious, Dawn's focus went to a suspicious looking old man across the street. After Lana had her Brionne attack the fake wall while Dawn had called out Chi-Chi in case the suspicious old man proved Dawn being suspicious of him as valid, the old man stood up and held his hands up in a gesture of yielding, hands at shoulder level with palms facing forward.
"The girl with the Infernape can't be fooled, I see," the old man said, "Although I see that I had fooled the rest of you." The old man then ripped off what he was wearing in a flash, revealing himself to actually be a younger person who thankfully wore an outfit under his old man outfit. The revealed to be a younger man was in a ninja-themed outfit that was mostly blue. "The name's Charlie Charma," the now identified Charlie Charma said, "And I shall be your tour guide for your group's trip here to see what all Malie City has to-"
"Wait a minute," Kenny interrupted, his tone on guard and dangerously suspicious, "You were deliberately trying to fool us?"
Charlie, instantly recognizing that he had struck a nerve, said, "It's purely for entertainment purposes, I assure y-"
"Yeah, we'll be fine on our own," Kiawe said, "Because I'm sure I speak for the lot of us here when I say we don't like people who fool us."
"Umm, sorry that my introductory performance struck a nerve with you guys," Charlie began, "But, umm, you can't proceed with out a tour guide."
Pointing in some odd direction, Ash scowled, "Then go find us one who WON'T fool or trick or otherwise deceive us. With all due respect, we've been fooled, tricked, and deceived way too many times, and it's left a rather foul taste in our mouths." Most of the rest of the group nodded in agreement, with the only ones not nodding still glaring right at Charlie with annoyed contempt.
...
After the kerfuffle with Charlie, the heroes and their classmates got another tour guide, a girl who wore a pink pallet swapped version of Charlie's ninja outfit. "Yeah, Charlie's gotten into trouble with the tour guide agency before due to his habit of liking to boast how he had fooled the folks he leads on tours before taking them on tours," the pink ninja girl began, "I think this might be his last strike before he's fired."
"Yeah, not gonna lie," Serena said, "I was thinking of having my Pangoro attack him."
"You wouldn't have been the first tourist to consider siccing a Pokémon on Charlie for his habit," the pink ninja girl said dryly. She then stopped the group in front of a large Pagoda decorated with masks resembling the faces of Darumakas and Darmanitans. "Anyway, this here is the Kantonian gym," the pink ninja girl said, "It's build is based on the style used in the Kanto region."
"No it's not," Ash said, "Ma'am, I'm from Pallet Town in the Kanto region, and I can assure you that there are no gyms in Kanto built like this. A few buildings in Fuchsia City have some resemblance to this building, but none of them are anywhere near as tall. And the gym for Fuchsia City doesn't look like this at all."
Shrugging, the pink ninja girl said, "Sorry, but I was told to say that to tourists when I bring them to visit the Kantonian gym here. None of the people working this job have ever even been to Kanto, and only a few have seen images of Kanto buildings in photos and automatically assumed all buildings in Kanto are made in that style."
Looking up at the Pagoda, Kenny said, "...This reminds me more of the old style towers found in Johto." Turning to look at the pink ninja girl, Kenny said, "You think the guys inside will flip if I say that?"
The pink ninja girl, surprisingly enough, had to snort back a laugh, one that sounded of sincere amusement. "Yeah, I bet that'll put a Beedrill in their undies, Kenny."
"Wait a minute," Sophocles began, "How do you know Kenny's name without having heard any of us say it, especially as you haven't asked for any of our names yet?"
Gesturing to Kenny, the pink ninja girl said, "He's Kenny Harris of Kenny Harris Studios, so of course I know him. I actually started up a fansite for the Kenny Harris Studios films, where we do polls, post fan theories, and accept fan submitted art and fan stories based off of the movies." Poking the tips of her index fingers together, the pink ninja girl said, "It's... a bit embarrassing to admit all of this, but I like to think of myself as Kenny's biggest fan."
"Kenny has a fan," Dawn said dryly, "He has a fan because of course he does."
Whereas Dawn had a bemused expression, Kenny had an expression of stroked ego. "Well it's always flattering to meet a fan who appreciates the cinematic work my friends and I produce," Kenny said, "Hey wait, when you say you accept and post fan made content like art and fics, do you accept and post everything you get, or do you try to filter out the NSFW stuff?"
"Oh I try to run a clean and respectable fansite, Kenny," the pink ninja girl said, "I have firm standards, and anything that I deem as NSFW gets a hard reject. I assure you that I only accept and post clean fan made content."
Mallow looked a bit curious. "I'm... I'm sorry, but what does NSFW stand for?"
"Not safe for work," the pink ninja girl explained, "Basically lewd and dirty stuff commonly made by perverts with perverted intentions."
Lana shuddered involuntarily. "Eww, I bet that the dirty fan art depicts all of the girl characters from the various movies."
...
Ryuki, the leader of the Kantonian gym, stood waiting for the guests brought into the gym to reach him. He waited on a battlefield located in a room on the top floor, his arms folded over his chest. "I hope that the tourists this time are able to reach me," Ryuki said aloud but to himself, "Because I, Gym Leader Ryuki, will prove that I got what it takes to be a gym leader for rea-"
*KABOOM*
Ryuki was cut off when the doors leading into his room were blown off their hinges and flung away, creating a cloud of dust in the process. As the dust settled, a mildly apprehensive Ryuki saw a VERY unamused Dawn practically stomping right on in, her anger so great that it made her hair fly up from behind, giving her the appearance of an oriental-style demon whose anger had been stoked. Walking in besides Dawn was Chi-Chi on her left and Tambourine on her right. The angry Dawn cracked her neck a bit, further intimidating Ryuki, as she looked at him.
"...You're the leader of this tourist attraction gym, right? Well, I'm here to challenge you."
...
At the end of the day, the heroes and their classmates stood outside of the Kantonian gym, were Ryuki gave each of them a Kantonian gym badge, which just depicts Ryuki's own face on it. "Wait, so why was Dawn so upset again?" Ryuki asked the pink ninja girl, "Because she had very nearly made me pee myself due to how vastly angry she was when she came into the gym room to battle me."
"I told her and the rest of Kenny's group about the Kenny Harris Studios fansite I set up, and how I accept fan made art and fics but filter out everything I deem as NSFW," the pink ninja girl began, "Lana thought all of the NSFW fanart that I reject depicts all of the female characters from the movies as a whole, but then I explained to Kenny's group that ninety-one point six percent of the NSFW fanart that gets submitted depicts Dawn's various characters from the Kenny Harris Studios movie."
"Hey now," Ryuki said, "The one piece of fanart that I submitted shouldn't qualify as NSFW, it just shows Dawn's character from the Clauncher and me movie pushing her little purple Wyrmscale thing in a stroller. I made it to be as cute, sweet, and wholesome as possible because Dawn's character from Clauncher and me had reminded me of my own mom who sadly passed away."

Gently shaking his head, Ryuki said, "Yeah, some folks on the internet can be pretty messed up. I'm quite frankly surprised that most people who regularly use the internet don't go insane as a result." To the group, Ryuki said, "Yeah, her fansite she runs is kept clean and wholesome, no need to worry about jerks perving it up there. You ought to check it out."
"I was gonna check it out regardless because this is the first I'm hearing that the movies I produce from my studio has a fan website dedicated to them," Kenny said. Although some of the heroes were a bit creeped out with what they learned about the content filtered out before it could get posted to the fansite, they still enjoyed their go to the Kantonian gym, and all of them were given badges by Ryuki on the basis that they were unamused with what they learned and he didn't want them leaving with a bad impression of the Kantonian gym.
Also, Ryuki upon learning Ash actually comes from Kanto asked him for tips and advice on making the gym more Kanto-like.
END, CHAPTER TWO-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-TWO
Author's notes;
This chapter sees the heroes meet up with Cilan who came to Alola to learn more of the Kenny Harris Studios movies, and he even gets to star in one Kenny makes that is a 'based off of true events' movie covering the heroes in Unova bringing down Team Rocket once and for all. Iris also gets involved and tries to launch into Ideku but he stops her. The movie ends up as a success, and even members of Team Scorn are amused although Jessie does NOT like it at all how she was depicted in the movie by Sophocles. James and Meowth are able to deal with how they were depicted much better.
Later, the heroes visit the Kantonian gym in Malie City, where they get a different tour guide than normal. Said tour guide is a girl who is Kenny's (self proclaimed) biggest fan and has set up a fan website dedicated to the movies produced by Kenny Harris Studios. However, when the girl mentions that a lot of the NSFW fan art that gets submitted (she filters out all of such work before it has a chance to get up) features Dawn's various characters she has played, Dawn goes full Satsui No Hado and storms right through the gym, clearing everything and netting everyone badges from the gym.
Anyway, the next chapter will see a few evolutions among the Pokémon that the classmates have, there'll be an Ultra Guardians mission featuring Kartana, there'll be a short time traveling escapade, and a few other topics will be covered before the League Conference starts up. Until then, take care.
