Episode 150: Togetic-tok!
A day came and went since Tom was freed from ExDark's control, so he joins the group towards Olivine City to head for the dock to board a ship that heads for the Kanto region along with Karen.
Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, Tom, Pikachu, Angel, Blossom, Togepi, and the Pichu made a stop so Sora would train for his Gym battle.
"Okay, Yanma! Use Sonic Boom!" Sora ordered. Yanma rapidly flapped his wings and sends out a powerful soundwave at Natu. "Okay, Natu! Teleport!" Natu dodges by teleporting out of the way in time. "Good work, you guys." Yanma then unleashed Ancient Power at Natu again, so she dodges out of the way of the rocks. One came at Natu so fast, so she uses her telepathic powers to block the rock and send it upwards. Natu and Yanma then started to evolve right at the same exact time. Natu has become a Xatu. She has two yellow stripes. Yanma has become is a large, dark green dragonfly Pokémon. His large eyes are red with black lines that make a sideways "T" shape in each one. It has two large, white fangs or mandibles next to his small mouth. Each of his segments has a red spot on them, while the last tail segment has a black triangular plate. He has two similar plates on the back of its thorax and a third on its head. He has six black thin legs. He has four white, oval wings with red tips, and there are two smaller white wings on the end of his tail. "The both of you evolved!" Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the both of them.
Xatu, the Mystic Pokémon

Type: Psychic/Flying
Xatu is known to stand motionless while staring at the sun all day long. Some people revere it as a mystical Pokémon out of their belief that Xatu is in possession of the power to see into the future.

Type: Bug/Flying
By churning its wings, it creates shock waves that inflict critical internal injuries to foes.
"Yanmega, huh? You look pretty cool," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Same with you, Xatu," Sora said, making Xatu smile.
Unknown to him, Kairi, Karen, Tom, Angel, Togepi, and Blossom are watching Sora train with his Pokémon.
"Is he always training like this?" Tom asked.
"That's how he stays on top of Team Rocket and the Heartless," Kairi said.
"That makes sense, I guess," Tom said.
A little later, Sora exchanged Yanmega, Donphan, Scyther, Remoraid, Snubbull, Xatu, and Mamoswine for Murkrow, Houndour, Sneasel, Gligar, Pineco, Larvitar, and Slugma.
Meanwhile, Tracey and Sakura are doing some exploring and they found a valley filled with wild Togepi.
"Do you see what I see?" Sakura asked.
"I do. I never would have have thought I would see this. So many Togepi in one gathering," Tracey said. He gets out his sketchbook. "I've got to get a sketch of this!" He began drawing.
A little further else, a Pokémon Hunter is in a truck along with an Ursaring.
"You seeing this, Ursaring? Togepi all around! More than enough Togepi to make any Pokémon Hunter rich! Why don't you head on down and gather them all up!" The Pokémon Hunter said. Ursaring nods and started to come down towards the Togepi to get them all, but that was when a squad of Togetic appeared before Ursaring and attacked with a barrage of Aerial Ace. The large bear Pokémon was quickly overwhelmed by the attacks. "Ursaring!" He looked up and saw the Togetic glaring at him. "Togetic. Okay, you'll pay for that!" He took out another Pokéball when the Togetic all attacked with a Hyper Beam, sending him flying.
Back with Tracey and Sakura, another squad of Togetic flew above them.
"Are those-?" Sakura asked as she paused.
"Those are Togetic the evolved form of Togepi! I have got to get a sketch of this!" Tracey said.
The Togetic didn't share his enthusiasm, so they fired Shadow Ball right at them. Tracey and Sakura screamed when the barrage of Shadow Balls are hitting the ground around them. They unleashed Magical Leaf right at Tracey and Sakura, making them run away.
"Their Magical Leaf is catching up with us!" Sakura exclaimed.
"I only wanted to make a sketch!" Tracey exclaimed.
"Bayleef! Use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Bayleef unleashed Razor Leaf and countered the Togetic's Magical Leaf. Tracey sees Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tom, and the Pokémon running up to them.
"Are you okay?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, thanks to you," Tracey said.
"What happened?" Sora asked.
"I was only drawing a sketch of wild Togepi in the area, and then those Togetic came and just attacked us," Tracey explained.
"Togetic did that?" Sora asked.
"It's true. Togetic aren't normally violent Pokémon, so I don't get why they attacked like that," Sakura said.
Sora and Kairi did wonder if something happened to make them attack them out of the blue. Just then, a few more Togetic came and saw Togepi, thinking that they have taken one of their own. The Togetic began their assault with a Swift. Angel quickly fired her own Swift at the Togetic's Swift.
"Togetic!" Tom said.
"And they just used Swift on us," Karen said.
"Pika, Pika!" Blossom said. The Togetic dives right at them with an Aerial Ace.
"Bayleef! Vine Whip!" Sora ordered. Bayleef unleashed Vine Whip and hits a couple of them, but one darts right at Bayleef, hitting her on the mark. "Bayleef!"
One Togetic uses Psychic and focused right on Togepi, taking him. She started to come after him.
"Togepi!" Kairi cried. The Togetic have completed their objective and flew off. "Come back here with my Togepi!" The Togetic flew too fast for the group to catch up. "Togepi!" Sora placed his hand on his girlfriend's shoulder.
"We'll get him back, Kairi. I promise," Sora said. Kairi nodded. She wasn't going to leave until she had her Togepi back.
Meanwhile, the Togetic took Togepi right the valley and placed him with the others.
"I'm glad we got to you, little Togepi. I simply don't know how you got out, but you should stay close and don't leave for any reason." - Leading Togetic subtitle. The Togetic flew off as the wild Togepi started to play with the new Togepi.
Meanwhile, Roxas arrives in Pallet Town and he looks around.
"I have a feeling I've been here before, but I haven't even been here before in my life. What does it mean?" Roxas asked.
A little further away, Xion was getting some fresh air to stretch her legs. As she walked she noticed Roxas in the distance and quietly walked up to him.
"Who's he? And why does he feel familiar?" Xion asked. She kept walking to him until she was close enough. "Hello?" Roxas turned to her when he heard her voice. He saw she was very familiar. She had Kairi's face and voice.
"Who are you?" Roxas asked.
"I was going to ask you the same question. My name's Xion. What about yours?" Xion asked.
"Roxas. My name's Roxas. It's nice to meet you, Xion," Roxas said.
"You too, Roxas. Are you lost?" Xion asked.
"I don't think so. I just came here just to look around. It feels sorta right for me to be here," Roxas said.
"I know what you mean. I feel the same way," Xion said. Roxas looked at her, surprised. He wasn't expecting he would be meeting someone would have something in common with him. "It may sound weird, but I don't seem to remember my own past, but this town is somehow welcoming to me. It feels like I've been here before, but I don't think I have. So, it's the same thing for me." Roxas just kept looking at her and he could feel warm inside. And he blushed bright red. He didn't know what it was. Xion looked at him and she gave a face of concern. "Are you feeling okay, Roxas? Your face looks red."
"It isn't red," Roxas lied, blushing. He shyly looked away from her. Xion somehow could tell he was lying. But she giggled. Roxas looked at her again and he looked at her face. "Um, would you like some ice cream?" Xion smiled.
"Okay," Xion said. Roxas and Xion went to find someplace to sit down, unaware of Ash following them. He was walking by and he saw Roxas. Ash didn't like the feeling he was having, so he feared the Organization may have learned about her, so he had to stay with Xion like a shadow.
Roxas and Xion found a place to sit. Roxas left to get some ice cream, and he didn't take long, so he came back with two bars of sea salt ice cream.
"Here you go," Roxas said, offering her one. Xion accepted the ice cream. "Go ahead." Xion took a bite of the ice cream and she found the taste to her liking.
"It's salty, yet sweet," Xion said.
"Yeah, it's Axel's favorite," Roxas said.
"Is he a friend of yours, Roxas?" Xion asked.
"He is. He was the one who introduced me to sea salt ice cream, so we would eat some whenever we were together," Roxas said, taking another bite of the frozen treat.
"It sounds like it's your favorite, too," Xion said. Roxas didn't really think of that fact, but he knew she was right, because it became his favorite flavor.
"Yeah, it sorta is," Roxas said. He looked at her when she took a bite. And he smiled some more. Ash quietly approached and he watches from a not-so-far distance.
"I hope he doesn't see me," Ash said.
"What else can you tell me about what you do remember, Roxas? You remember your mom or your dad?" Xion asked.
"I don't have either," Roxas said.
"I'm sorry to bring it up, I just-" Xion apologized.
"It's okay, Xion. I don't remember anyway," Roxas said. He finished his ice cream. "I should get going. And I might bring Axel here sometime."
"I'm looking forward to it," Xion said, finishing her ice cream. Roxas and Xion went their separate ways while Ash is still hiding.
"This is what I was worried about. It won't be long before they come here for her. I just gotta keep her out of their hands," Ash said in his thoughts.
Back in Johto, the Pokémon Hunter tends to his injuries by wrapping his limbs with a bandage.
"Geez, those Togetic are brutal. I had all those little gems in my sights and they slipped through my fingers like butter. I'm not willing to give up that easily. Ursaring, you ready to go another round?" The Pokémon Hunter asked. Ursaring nods. "Thought you would! Let's go!" The Pokémon Hunter and Ursaring heads on back to the valley.
Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, Tom, and the Pokémon arrived to the valley and they looked at the Togepi playing.
"Which one is Kairi's Togepi?" Sakura asked.
"I don't know, they all look alike to me," Sora said.
"Not to me. None of these are mine," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"We can't just waltz right in, because those Togetic will go ballistic on us if they so much as see us set foot on the valley," Tom said.
"Tom's right. We'll be easy to spot. But Pikachu and Angel will be able to pull it off. They'll sneak around, disguising themselves as pieces of grass and find the one who has Kairi's scent," Tracey said.
"That's a great idea. Those Togetic won't be able to tell the difference," Sora said. Sora, Kairi, Karen, and Tom covered the Pokémon couple with some grass and flowers, making it hard for the Togetic to see them. "Okay, lovebirds. The task is simple. Move about the valley and move slowly and carefully and find Togepi. When one has Kairi's scent, that's the one we want back."
"Chu," Pikachu nodded.
"Vee," Angel nodded.
Pikachu and Angel slowly make their way towards the valley. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, and Tom ducked down when the Togetic patrol came by.
"That was close," Karen said.
"Yeah, but they're gonna come back soon. We better hope Pikachu and Angel comes back soon," Tom said.
Pikachu and Angel moved silently like a leopard stalking its victim, being careful not to be noticed. A few Togepi heard some footsteps, but they freeze in place when they stopped. They freely moved again when the Togepi weren't looking.
Meanwhile, a Togekiss is sitting at a nest in the trees like a mother hen sitting on her eggs. Togekiss got up from the nest and flew into the open.
Back outside, the Pokémon Hunter and his Ursaring made it back and he took out his binoculars and he grinned.
"Okay, there they are. So many Togepi, so little time. Those Togetic will undoubtedly come back, so I came prepared," the Pokémon Hunter said, taking out a Dusk Ball and threw it. It lets out an Ariados. "Okay, Ariados, set up a trap for anyone who wants to crash the party." Ariados sets up a web trap for any Togetic who would come flying by. Ariados has finished just in time for a small band of Togetic to spot him. They came flying at the Hunter and his Pokémon, so they end up being caught in Ariados's web. He laughed. "Did you think I would come back here without being properly prepared? Think again!" He and his two Pokémon head on in.
Meanwhile, Kairi's Togepi didn't have a problem fitting in with the others. He played with several of the other Togepi. One of the Togepi has light orange skin while the markings that are blue are red, and the red are blue.
The two Togepi became fast friends despite a slight misunderstanding. Pikachu and Angel stealthy moved about. They could tell they were getting closer to him by how strong Kairi's scent was becoming.
"I think we're almost there." - Pikachu subtitle.
"You're right. Kairi will be happy to have Togepi back. But I can't say the same for the Togetic." - Angel subtitle.
"You're right about that, Angel. That's a bridge we're gonna have to cross when we come to it." - Pikachu subtitle.
They keep on walking and walking in their disguise, leaving the Togepi unaware of their presence. The scent was getting stronger, knowing they were getting close. They were unaware of the Ursaring and Ariados in the same area. Ariados has set up webs all around and caught several Togepi and Togetic in the webbing. The captured Pokémon were placed in cages. They were also unaware of Noctowl flying above them. Sora thought it was a good idea to have eyes in the sky in case something happened. Unfortunately, he was right to do so when the Shiny Owl Pokémon saw the Pokémon Hunter, so he flew right back.
Waiting for Noctowl to return, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, Tom, Blossom, and the Pichu stayed out of the sights of the Togetic. Noctowl flew right beside Sora.
"Did you find anything?" Sora asked. Noctowl nodded and gestures Sora and his friends to follow. "Lead the way, Noctowl!" Everyone followed the Shiny Owl Pokémon and they came across some Togepi and Togetic in several cages. "I have a good idea on where did these come from."
"Me too. A Pokémon Hunter," Kairi said.
"You sure it's not Team Rocket?" Tom asked.
"I'm sure. Besides, this is too planned out even for someone like them. And they would just jump out and gloat at us," Sora said.
"He's right. They have a habit of doing that," Tracey said.
"Someone's coming!" Sakura said.
Moving fast, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, Tom, Blossom, and the Pichu hid behind a few trees as the Pokémon Hunter came and picked up one of the cages. He laughed.
"This is my way to the big times! With all these rare Pokémon, I'm going to be filthy, stinking rich! So very rich!" The Pokémon Hunter said as he laughed again.
"How unforgivable," Tom said.
"Pika," Blossom said.
"We'll have to foil his plan," Sora said.
"Yeah," everyone agreed.
Back in the valley, the Pokémon couple finally found Kairi's Togepi playing with the wild Togepi, still unaware of Ursaring and Ariados in the area. They had to make their move and bring Togepi back to Kairi, but before either one of them could make a move, Ariados sprang into action by spewing its threads at the Togepi, including Kairi's Togepi into the mix. Ursaring was about to grab them when Pikachu took off the disguise and attacked Ursaring with a Thunderbolt. Angel attacked with Swift, hitting both Ursaring and Ariados.
Both Pokémon saw the Pokémon couple and they were angered by the assault. Ursaring came rushing at Pikachu and Angel, but they dodge with their speed, so Ariados shoots out some webs at them, so they dodged that as well.
A small band of Togetic were patrolling the sky and they saw the fight taking place. They flew towards them to attack, but they were unaware of Ariados's web that was placed and they get stuck in it.
Meanwhile, Togekiss flew in the air and looked down. And that was when it saw what didn't belong. It flew down and saw the caged Togepi and Togetic, leaving Togekiss devastated. It wondered who would do such it thing.
The Pokémon Hunter came to grab another cage when he saw the group standing before him.
"Hey, what do you kids think you're doing here?" The Pokémon Hunter asked.
"We could be asking you the same question," Kairi said.
"Just who do you think you are caging all these Pokémon?" Sakura asked.
"I'm a Pokémon Hunter. I'm here to collect any rare Pokémon for lots of money," the Pokémon Hunter said.
"We're not gonna let you do that," Karen said.
"So, we'll have to take you down hard!" Sora said.
"You'll have to try hard," the Pokémon Hunter said, taking out an Ultra Ball and threw it. "Go! Steelix!" His Ultra Ball opens and a Steelix emerged from inside with a loud roar. Sora took out two Pokéballs and his Friend Ball.
"Quilava, Slugma Houndour! Go!" Sora called out. Quilava, Slugma, and Houndour came out, waiting for Sora's instructions.
"Steelix! Use Dragon Breath on those little runts!" The Pokémon Hunter ordered. Steelix attacks with a Dragon Breath.
"Quilava! Use Flamethrower to block!" Sora ordered. Quilava unleashed Flamethrower to block Steelix's Dragon Breath. "Okay, Houndour! Use Fire Fang! Slugma! Use Flame Burst!" Houndour came at the Iron Snake Pokémon and lands a fiery bite as Slugma unleashed several fireballs at Steelix, dealing some heavy damage.
"Use Stone Edge!" The Pokémon Hunter ordered. Steelix unleashed big rocks and heads right the Fire-types. Quilava and Houndour dodged, but Slugma wasn't so lucky, so he was hit by the rocks, knocked out.
Back in the valley, Pikachu and Angel continued the battle with Ursaring and Ariados, so Pikachu and Angel lands a hit with Iron Tail, but Ursaring swiped its claw at Pikachu hard. Ariados came at Angel with Poison Jab, landing a hit. Pikachu rushes to Angel.
"Are you alright, Angel?" - Pikachu subtitle.
"I'm fine. How about you, Pikachu?" - Angel subtitle.
"I'm okay. I took worse hits than this Ursaring." - Pikachu subtitle.
"And it's about to get worse for you, rodent!" - Ursaring subtitle. Ursaring raises its arms up to smack them, so they dodged. Suddenly, a Mew appeared and transformed into a Bellsprout and uses its leaves to cut the Togepi loose. It reverts back to Mew and took off. Kairi's Togepi had to help his friends after everything they've been through.
Ursaring came at Pikachu and Angel with Hammer Arm while Ariados fired Poison Sting at them. They dodged their attacks, so Angel fired Swift and hits them both. Ursaring grabbed them both. Kairi's Togepi waved his arms back and forth. Togepi kept it up until his arms gave off a blue glow. Togepi started to absorb sunlight, building up solar energy.
Ursaring kept holding them both and threw them both on the ground. Ursaring approached them both. Ursaring raises its claws up to finish them off when they're hit by a light yellow beam of energy. Pikachu and Angel turned to see Kairi's Togepi running up to them. They smiled, grateful to his help. The wild Togepi were surprised to see him help a couple of outsiders.
Over to Togekiss, it saw Sora and his friends against the Pokémon Hunter.
"Steelix! Use Stone Edge!" The Pokémon Hunter ordered. Steelix unleashed Stone Edge. Quilava and Houndour dodges. "Don't let them get away! Use Thunder Fang!" Steelix's jaws emits electricity and came down at them. Steelix lands a hit onto the both of them. Quilava and Houndour have taken some heavy damage from Steelix's attack. "That was great! Fire at them with a Dragon Breath!"
"Houndour, Quilava!" Sora said. Steelix fires Dragon Breath and hits the both of them. The Hunter laughed.
"It's all over for you, kid! Your Fire-types are no match for my Steelix!" The Pokémon Hunter gloated.
"You're wrong! They much stronger than you think they are! And they're going to stop you from taking these Togepi and Togetic," Sora said.
Togekiss listened to what Sora said and saw he was battling to protect them.
"You're kidding right. Just how do you plan on stopping me? Last time I checked, your Pokémon can barely even stand on their feet. So, I'm gonna wrap this up. Dragon Breath!" Steelix fired another Dragon Breath at the Fire-type Pokémon, but Togekiss got in front of them with lightning speed and took the hit. Steelix's Dragon Breath does nothing to it since Fairy-type Pokémon are immune to Dragon-type moves.
"A Togekiss!" Tracey exclaimed.
"Where did it come from?" Tom asked.
"She must have been on our side and come to our aide," Kairi said.
"Pichu," the two Pichu said.
Back in the valley, Ursaring and Ariados got back up and glared at the smaller Pokémon. Ariados fired Poison Sting at them, but Togepi fired Swift, landing a hit. Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt onto Ursaring, resulting in a paralysis. Kairi's Togepi and the other Togepi got together and began to use Metronome. They kept it up until their arms gave off a blue glow. They unleashed a Fire Blast, hitting both of Ursaring and Ariados and they go flying in the air. Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi followed the Pokémon as they go flying.
Back with Sora and his friends, Togekiss glared at the Pokémon Hunter with a stern expression. It was clear that she does not forgive him for snatching the Togepi and Togetic.
"A Togekiss! If I catch that thing, I can make a load of money with that! Steelix! Stone Edge!" The Pokémon Hunter ordered. Steelix unleashed Stone Edge at Togekiss, but dodged. Togekiss forms an azure ball of energy and fired it at Steelix, landing a hit. Steelix was taken down with just one hit. "My Steelix!" He did not like the sight of his Steelix defeated by what he was trying to catch. Before he could retaliate, Ursaring and Ariados land right on him. By that time, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi came just in time to see them beaten.
"Glad you could join us, but you're late for thr party," Sora said. Kairi took Togepi in her arms.
"Togepi, I'm glad you're safe," Kairi cooed. Togekiss looked at Kairi and saw she clearly loved her Togepi. One of the Togetic in one of the cages realized they made a mistake and regretted taking Togepi from her since jumping into a conclusion. Togekiss forms a rain cloud and it rains all over, washing the webbings off, as Sora and Kairi used their Keyblades to unlock the locks.
Kairi forgave the Togetic for what they did since she knew it was to protect the Togepi. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, Tom, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, Blossom, and the Pichu took off for Olivine City once the whole ordeal was taken care of. The Pokémon Hunter and his Pokémon were placed in their own cages and they didn't wait long until Officer Jenny came and arrested him.
"Aren't you glad you got Togepi back, Kairi?" Sakura asked.
"Very glad. I'm just happy we got him back before that Hunter got to him," Kairi said.
"Yeah, me too. At least that Togekiss was reasonable," Sora said.
"Yeah, or she would have attacked us like those Togetic," Karen said.
"I think we should keep the valley of Togepi a secret," Tracey said.
"I'm with Tracey," Sora agreed. "If we just blab it out, someone else would just try just like that Pokémon Hunter did."
"And that would be very bad," Tom said.
Now that Togepi is safely back in Kairi's arms, they continue on their way towards Olivine City, but who knows what other adventures awaits them on their way? And will the rest of Organization XIII learn about Xion's presence? And why did Mew help Togepi the way it did? The answers shall come when we continue on.
