Episode 154: Sparkle the Ampharos
After foiling Attila and Hun's attempt of abusing Raikou's power for their evil deeds, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Vincent, Euisine, and the Pokémon returned to the Pokémon Center to find Naminé, Karen, Tracey, Tom, Sakura, Blossom, and Azurill waiting for them.
"Sora, Riku, Kairi, when we saw the sky darken, we got worried," Karen said.
"Pikachu," Blossom said.
"Well, you don't have to worry anymore, because we gave those guys the boot," Sora said.
"Is Raikou alright?" Naminé asked.
"Azu," Azurill chirped.
"Raikou's just fine. It took off after we destroyed that freaky crystal," Riku said.
"Tell us what happened," Tom said.
"Okay, how about we heal up our Pokémon before we get down to it," Ethan suggested.
"I got ya covered, summoning his Kingdom Key. Kairi summoned her Destiny's Embrace and they healed all of the Pokémon with their cure spell. The same can be said for Ethan, Kris, and Lyra. Kris used it to heal Meganium of his injuries.
"There you go, Meganium," Kris said. Meganium beamed.
"Healing magic is so cool," Vincent said.
"Glad you think so, Vincent," Kris said.
"Now, let's get right to it. We chased Raikou and it led us to Team Rocket. They gave us a real run for our money, and that was when Vincent here came to the rescue," Sora explained. Vincent beamed. He looked at Riku.
"I don't think we were introduced properly. My name's Vincent. Nice to meet you," Vincent said.
"Mine's Riku. You already know that," Riku said.
"Anyway, Team Rocket still gave us a hard time, so they caught Raikou and Kris along with it," Kairi said.
"How awful," Karen said.
"What happened after that?" Sakura asked.
"Well, I arrived to the party too late," Riku added.
"After her PokéGear got crushed, Eusine managed to track it down thanks to his technical thinking," Ethan said.
"I simply did my part to help," Eusine said.
"I let Raikou escape before I got sealed in again. It was a long way down from where I was going," Kris said. "And those bullies tied me up."
"We're glad that you're okay, Kris," Tracey said.
"We all are," Karen said.
"We got to Team Rocket and rescued Kris from their clutches, so Raikou was attacking from the distance, so we gave them quite a fight. Things were pretty much going our way until Raikou got sucked in the pull of that crystal, so we had to weaken the forcefield without killing Raikou, which would have failed if Team Rocket managed to stop us. Raikou got loose, and Kairi and I smashed that crystal into pieces," Sora said.
"What about Team Rocket? Where did they go?" Tracey asked.
"Attila and Hun got away, but Eusine sent the morons flying," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I must say, you all have demonstrated some heroic deeds, because you managed to save the world from Team Rocket's attempt in abusing Raikou's power," Eusine said.
"Euisine is right. What Team Rocket did to Raikou was unforgivable. If they succeeded, it would have been a disaster for everyone," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
There was no arguing that Kairi was right, too. Sora's level of forgiveness for Team Rocket was low as it is, and he couldn't help but wonder why they have to sink lower than dirt to gain their goals.
Meanwhile, Vexen and Luxord were investigating the battlefield of Sora and his friends and Team Rocket. Vexen marveled at the remains of the crystal.
"Interesting," Vexen said, picking up a piece. "To think they were to attempt to control such a legendary creature by using its own power against it. The crystal itself is impressive."
"I was almost certain Team Rocket would pull it off. If they did, I would have lost the bet," Luxord said. Vexen scoffed.
"I don't know why Xemnas wanted me to take you along with me, but I have no choice but to oblige him since he is the Organization's superior; but could you just spare me of the gambling, number 10?" Vexen asked.
"What can I say? I'm a gambler by nature," Luxord said, throwing a pair of dice in the air and caught them. "And my dice were in Sora and Kairi's favor despite the odds against them."
"You may be a gambler, but I am a scientist, and as such, I prefer to take a scientific approach to things," Vexen said, placing the shard in his pocket. "And I believe I can collect some valuable data from this one little piece. We shall return to the castle at once." He and Luxord took their leave through the corridors of darkness to return to the World That Never Was.
It was now nighttime, so Eusine has taken his leave, but the rest of the group have fallen asleep, except for Sora and Pikachu. The both of them have stepped out into the night and looked up to the moon shining down on them.
"We had quite a day, Pikachu, didn't we?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"I can't help but wonder what other nasty surprises they might in store," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"Sora?" Kairi asked as she and Angel stepped out. He and Pikachu turned to see their significant others.
"Shouldn't you be sleeping?" Sora asked.
"I should be asking you that, Sora. You still thinking about everything that happened today?" Kairi asked.
"You always know what's know what's on my mind. Yeah, I'm still thinking about it. We managed to stop them in their tracks, and I just can't help but think about what other nasty plans those guys might have for everyone," Sora said.
"Are you worried about what might happen?" Kairi asked.
"I would be lying if I told you that I wasn't. Team Rocket have done a lot of nasty things throughout the years, and I'm worrying about what might happen if they go too far," Sora said.
"They're willing to cross as many lines, and they don't care who gets caught in the middle. And when they do get to that point, we'll stop them like before," Kairi assured her boyfriend. Sora smiled, knowing she was right. He placed his arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah, we will," Sora said. The couple heard a familiar roar and they turned to see Raikou in front of them. "Raikou?" The Thunder Pokémon approached Sora and nuzzled him. "Raikou?" Pikachu understood what it was saying.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said, gesturing to his Pokéballs. Sora took one of his occupied Pokéballs and he understood his partner.
"I get it. You want to be my Pokémon, don't you?" Sora asked. Raikou nodded. "Why?"
"Maybe because Raikou saw what was in your heart. And it wants to show you how grateful it is by joining you as part of the team," Kairi said. Sora looked at Raikou.
"Are you sure, Raikou?" Sora asked. Raikou nodded.
"Alright," Sora said, taking out an Ultra Ball and threw it in the air. Raikou jumped and the button tapped onto Raikou, making it flow inside. The Ultra Ball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Ultra Ball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Raikou. He chose to keep Raikou in exchange for Ursaluna. "I just caught a Raikou."
"Yes, you did. Raikou made its choice by joining you," Kairi said.
"Everybody's gonna be really surprised when they see Raikou joining us," Sora said.
"You're right," Kairi agreed. "But I think it's going have to wait until morning to spread the news."
"Yeah, we should go back to sleep anyway," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel returned to the room they were staying in and kissed each other goodnight. The couple fell right to sleep as soon as their heads met their pillows.
On the next morning, Sora and Kairi led their friends out into the woods to show them something.
"So, what is it, Sora?" Karen asked.
"You'll see," Sora said, taking out his Ultra Ball and threw it. "Come out!" The Ultra Ball opened and Raikou stood before them.
"WHOA!" Karen, Tom, Sakura, Tracey, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and Vincent exclaimed all at once as Riku and Naminé went wide-eyed.
"Raikou?!" Riku exclaimed.
"Yeah, can you believe it?" Sora asked.
"When did you catch Raikou? We just saw it leave after dealing with Team Rocket," Ethan said.
"Last night while you were still sleeping. I came out here for some air, and Kairi joined me," Sora explained.
"And that was when Raikou showed up and decided to become Sora's Pokémon," Kairi said.
"For real?" Vincent asked.
"For real," Sora and Kairi both said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel added.
Togepi walked up to Raikou and playfully tapped on Raikou's paw. The Thunder Pokémon just blushed, feeling welcomed by the baby Pokémon.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"You don't think it has something to do with us having a Keyblade, does it? I mean, you, me, Sora, Kairi, Kris, and Lyra here each have one, so it could have been easily been one of us," Ethan said.
"Maybe, but it must be more than that," Riku said.
"Whatever it was, it was certainly Raikou's choice," Naminé said.
"Azu, Azu," Azurill chirped.
Meanwhile, Ash and Leaf have arrived to Saffron City's Magnet Train.
"You sure you want to head back into Johto to search for a doorway into the realm of darkness, Ash? You already tried it back in Greenfield," Leaf said.
"I know, but we will never know until we look," Ash said.
"You're right, Ash. And I'm one hundred percent with you since she's my friend, too. But I'm just worried that we might end up getting lost in there same as Cascade. But we did promise to find Viento and Gaia before we start searching for her," Leaf said.
"Yeah, but I wouldn't know where to look to find them. Besides, I thought she would have better luck in searching for her better than we would," Ash said.
"You have a point there, Ash, and we're in contact with Tai and the others when we or they find something," Leaf said.
"Their past experiences would help us out a whole lot, but I feel even that won't help much," Ash said.
"Yeah, but Izzy did say he will keep us in the loop if he finds anything," Leaf said.
"Attention, the train bound for Goldenrod City will depart in five minutes," the announcer spoke.
"We better get aboard," Leaf said.
"And fast," Ash added.
Ash and Leaf heads inside the Magnet Train and boards the train and takes their seats just before it starts to take off. Their search in Johto begins.
Back in Johto, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and Vincent have gone their separate ways as Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill joins Sora, Kairi, Karen, Tracey, Sakura, Tom, Pikachu, Angel, Blossom, Togepi, and the Pichu towards Olivine City knowing they were near it. Karen was feeling down, and her crush catches on.
"What's wrong, Karen?" Tom asked.
"Nothing," Karen said.
"You sure?" Tom asked, not convinced.
"Pika," Blossom poked her.
"Ow!" Karen yelped.
"Pika!" Blossom said, pointing to Tom.
"Okay," Karen said, feeling irritated by the poke she just received. "The reason I feel down is because our adventure is about to be cut short after a short time."
"I know what you mean, Karen, but we knew this was gonna come, but I did enjoy being with you," Tom said. Karen blushed.
"I enjoyed being with you, too. And you're right, because I did promise to come right back home after we got you back when ExDark was controlling you. And your mom will be in happy tears to have you back home," Karen said.
"I can imagine her leaving my room the way it was just before that demon took control over me," Tom said. Karen laughed.
"So can I," Karen said.
"I might be repeating myself, but thanks for going through all that just for me," Tom said.
"I know you would do the same for me, and my brother would rip out his spiky hair, helping you," Karen said.
"And I wouldn't stop until I found you," Tom said, taking Karen's hand. She was happy to hold his hand. Sora looked back to his sister and he smiled. He placed his arm around Kairi's shoulder, making her giggle.
"Any reason why you have your hand on my shoulder, Sora?" Kairi playfully asked.
"No reason. Just to show you that I care," Sora said.
"You're sweet," Kairi said.
Before getting to Olivine City, Sora decided to get some training done for his Gym battle. Sora had his Pokémon out just so they could practice. Riku, Tracey, and Sakura helped out by having some sparring matches with Sora's Pokémon.
Riku has his Eevee against Pineco.
"You up for it, Pineco?" Sora asked.
"Pineco," Pineco replied.
"If what I heard about Pineco is right, they have an explosive personality, so be careful, Eevee," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee nodded.
"Pineco! Use Take Down!" Sora ordered. Pineco charges at Eevee.
"Dodge and use Shadow Ball!" Riku ordered. Eevee dodged Pineco's attack and fired a Shadow Ball right at the Bagworm Pokémon.
"Protect!" Sora ordered. Pineco formed a protective barrier around himself and it bounced right off. "Rapid Spin!" Pineco spins around and heads right for Eevee.
"Dig to dodge!" Riku ordered. Eevee dug into the ground and Pineco misses his target completely. Eevee came out of the ground and lands a hit onto the Bagworm Pokémon, sending him flying. "Use Shadow Ball!" Eevee fired a Shadow Ball right at Pineco, hitting him. Pineco fell on the ground, beaten.
"You did great, Pineco. Get some rest," Sora said.
"Pineco," Pineco said.
"Good practice battle, Sora," Riku said.
"Yeah, you too, Riku," Sora said, giving him a hi-five.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
After getting some training done, Riku insisted that it was time to have Gligar evolve into a Gliscor. He hands Sora a Razor Fang and he hands it to Gligar. Riku hands him a Razor Claw for his Sneasel, and decided to wait for that time when he feels should come.
Night did come as Gligar has evolved into a Gliscor after holding it all day.
They finally arrived to Olivine City at last. It took them quite a while, but it was well worth the trip.
"Here it is. Olivine City," Sora said.
"First thing we do is find the Pokémon Center and then the Gym," Tracey said.
"And for me and Tom to find the ship that heads for Vermilion City," Karen said.
"I can hardly wait to get home and see my mom again," Tom said.
"Me too," Karen said.
"I guess this means this is where we say goodbye, isn't it?" Sakura asked.
"Fraid so, Sakura. I liked hanging with you," Karen said.
"Me too, Karen. You and I became best friends after getting to know each other," Sakura said.
"I feel the same way, Sakura. But we can keep in touch through phone calls and emails," Karen said.
"You know it, Karen," Sakura said.
"Don't forget to check in with my parents, Karen," Kairi said.
"Don't worry, Kairi. I'm sure Seth will be very happy to see me," Karen said, smiling at the thought of seeing Seth again. It was obvious she loves him to pieces.
"Anyway, Tom, I'm glad you have your life back," Tracey said.
"Me too, Tracey. And thank you all for helping me out. And it was great meeting you, Riku, Naminé," Tom said.
"Same to you, Tom," Naminé said.
"Just take care of yourself when you get home," Riku said.
"Thanks. I will," Tom said. He turned to Sora while he smiled.
"Sora, good luck in your Gym battles. I'm gonna root for you when you get in the Johto Pokémon League," Tom said.
"Thanks, Tom," Sora said. He whispered to Tom one more time. "Remember what I said before, Tom."
"Don't worry, Sora. I won't make her cry," Tom whispered back.
With that said, Karen and Tom said their goodbyes as Blossom hugs her three brothers goodbye and went with them for the dock.
After saying goodbye to Karen and Tom, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Tracey, Sakura, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Togepi, Azurill, and the Pichu heads for the Pokémon Center to rest up for a bit. Sora has gotten word that the Olivine City Gym Leader's name is Jasmine and she specializes with Steel-type Pokémon. So luckily for him, he was well prepared. Sora has Quilava, Slugma, Houndour, Larvitar, and Gliscor since they have an edge over Steel-type Pokémon. But Sora decided to make a change on his team, so he exchanged Murkrow, Sneasel, and Pineco for Heracross, Quagsire, and Donphan.
"Okay, made the necessary change. Wanna be on top of my challenge," Sora said.
"But wouldn't you want to test Ursaluna out in a Gym battle, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"I would like to, but I figured Professor Oak would want to do some research on Ursaluna until he got what he needed," Sora said.
"I guess you're right about that, Sora. You have to be considerate to your elders, especially when it was someone who treated your mom like his own daughter," Kairi said.
"Yeah," Sora said, knowing she was right.
"Hey, did you hear?" A boy's voice asked.
"Hear what?" Another boy asked.
"I heard that the Gym Leader isn't accepting any challenges today," the first boy said.
"Seriously? Why not?" The second boy asked.
"Not sure. That's what I heard," the first boy said.
"Man, I came all this way only to be shot down," the second boy said.
"I'm sure it's nothing too serious," the first boy said.
"Yeah, me too. I don't want to think I came here for nothing," the second boy said.
"The Gym Leader isn't accepting any challenges? That's weird," Sora said.
"You don't think it has something to do with Team Rocket, the Organization or the Heartless, do you?" Kairi asked.
"I hope not, but it wouldn't hurt to look into it," Sora said. "Either way, we'll have to tell Riku about this."
"Right," Kairi agreed.
The couple went up to their friends who were on contact with home; Riku was calling his mother while Naminé was calling her parents. Sakura was calling her sisters while Tracey was making some sketches of the various Pokémon around.
"Guys," Sora said. The couple's friends approached them when they finished doing their thing.
"What's up, Sora?" Tracey asked.
"Kairi and I just heard that the Gym Leader isn't taking any challenges from any other Trainer," Sora said.
"You know, I think I heard someone mentioning that when I was calling my sisters," Sakura said.
"I hope nothing's wrong," Naminé said.
"Well, that's why we should head on over there and see for ourselves in case Team Rocket, the Heartless or Organization XIII is involved," Sora said.
"You made the right call telling us. Let's go," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Tracey, Sakura, and the Pokémon started to make their way towards the Olivine City Gym and they spotted a familiar redhead standing out in front. He turned to see them.
You again?" Silver asked in annoyance.
"Nice to see you, too," Sora deadpanned.
"Why are you here?" Kairi asked.
"There's no need to be alert. I don't bother with wimps like you. Speaking of weaklings, the city's Gym Leader isn't here, and is supposedly taking care of a sick Pokémon at the lighthouse," Silver said.
"Sick Pokémon at the lighthouse?" Sora asked.
"How awful," Sakura said.
"Humph! Boo-hoo! Just let sick Pokémon go! A Pokémon that can't battle is worthless! Just like that little one there!" Silver said, pointing at Naminé and Azurill. Riku didn't like his attitude. He grabbed him by the shirt.
"Care to repeat yourself?" Riku asked.
"Gladly. That Azurill and that blonde are a pair of weaklings, just like the sick Pokémon in the lighthouse," Silver said. Riku wanted to punch him, but Sora placed his hand on his shoulder.
"As much as I want to see him get what he deserves, but this isn't the time or the place to sink to his level," Sora said.
"You're right. Better not," Riku said. He glared at Silver. "You should watch what you say around me, because I'm the wrong guy to set off."
"Ooh, I'm shaking," Silver taunted, pretending to be scared. "I don't have time to waste on you geeks. I'm out of here." Silver walked off.
"At least we know what's going on," Naminé said.
"Now we should go to the lighthouse and find Jasmine there," Sakura said.
"But we don't know where the lighthouse is," Kairi pointed out.
"But I do," a younger girl's voice spoke. The group turned to see a little girl wearing a yellow dress. She has short dark green hair and violet eyes. She wore dark pink shoes with a pink flower on each one. "I was about to go there when I heard you talking."
"And who are you?" Tracey asked.
"My name's Janina. I'm one of Jasmine's apprentices. I can take you there since you came all this way," Janina said.
"Thanks, we appreciate your help, Janina," Sora said.
Janina started to lead the group to the lighthouse.
Speaking of which, we see a teenage girl with milky chocolate brown eyes. She has long brown hair that reaches her waist with two orange beads that tie two locks of her hair in pigtails. She wears a teal sundress with a bridal hem that reaches her knees and an orange puffy bow on her chest with a snow white coat that reaches her waist and sleeves that go over her elbows. She also wears white sandals which have two teal decorations.
She is tending to the care of a yellow, bipedal ovine Pokémon with a white belly. It has conical ears with black stripes and a red orb on its forehead. Its long neck has several black rings around it near the base. Its stubby arms resemble flippers and each foot has a single white nail. It has a long, black-striped tail with a red orb at the tip. This Pokémon is Ampharos. And it's very sick as it was stated.
"Oh, Sparkle, please hang in there," the girl said.
Meanwhile, Karen, Tom, and Blossom boarded the boat bound for Vermilion City as the ship starts to depart.
"I'm gonna miss the adventures we had with Sora and the others," Karen said.
"Pika," Blossom said.
"Me too," Tom said. He looked at Karen and blushed. He cleared his throat. "Say, Karen. Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure. What's on your mind, Tom?" Karen asked. He swallowed a lump before he took a deep breath.
"I was wondering maybe after I get settled, you and I could go out and catch a movie sometimes; but only that's what you aren't too busy babysitting Kairi's little brother," Tom said.
"Are you asking me out for a date?" Karen asked.
"Maybe," Tom said as he blushed. Karen smiled.
"I would like to, Tom. Anytime," Karen said. That made Tom smile.
"If I remember right, you enjoy action movies, right? I know just the one coming out," Tom said.
"You're awesome, Tom," Karen said. She took Tom by the hand. And she kissed him on the cheek, making him blush. He placed his hand on his cheek as he kept on blushing.
Back with the group, they made it to the lighthouse and stepped inside. They went all the way to the top where they met the girl. She sees Janina with them.
"Janina, who are they?" Jasmine asked.
"These are Sora and his friends. They said they were concerned about Sparkle," Janina said.
"It's true, Jasmine. We thought it might have been something else at first, that is until we got there and saw someone else leaving," Sora said.
"I appreciate your concern, Sora. I've been very worried about Sparkle ever since she got sick," Jasmine said. The group approached the sickly Ampharos.
"An Ampharos. First time I have ever seen one up close," Tracey said.
"She reminds me of Mareep and Flaaffy. Better see," Kairi said, taking out her Pokédex and scanned Sparkle.
Ampharos, the Light Pokémon
The evolved form of Flaaffy
Type: Electric
Ampharos gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space. People in the old days used the light of this Pokémon to send signals back and forth with others far away.
"Just as I thought," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Togepi," Togepi chirped.
"Just what's wrong with her?" Sora asked.
"She has a terrible cold. I hope you understand that I'm not accepting any challenges until Sparkle is better," Jasmine said.
"Not a problem for me," Sora said. He rubbed Sparkle on the head. "It wouldn't be right to make you battle when a Pokémon is sick like this. And being sick is no fun." Kairi smiled seeing how Sora can be mature at a time like this.
"Couldn't you just go buy some medicine to help your Ampharos?" Riku asked.
"I did think of that. There isn't a pharmacy in town that has the medicine I need to cure Sparkle; but there is a pharmacy in Cianwood City that does have it. But, I can't leave Sparkle unattendented and I can't find anyone reliable to help me out," Jasmine said. Janina got an idea to help out Sparkle.
"How about I go and get it for you, Jasmine?" Janina suggested. "I can take a ship and sail there to get it!" Jasmine looked at the young girl with a disapproving look.
"I can't let you do that. You might end up getting on the wrong ship and end up getting lost on the way over," Jasmine said.
"But, I know this place like the back of my hand. And I been to Cianwood City before," Janina argued.
"That was because I was with you before. I would go with you and get it, but what if something happened to you? Your mother won't forgive me if something does happen," Jasmine said.
"I only wanted to help Sparkle; and now you're not letting me help," Janina said.
"Actually, Janina. Jasmine's right. You can't go there by yourself. Because we're going with you," Sora said. Janina looked up to the Pokémon Trainer.
"That's a good idea. We wouldn't want you getting lost on your way there and on your way back," Sakura said. Jasmine smiled nodded.
"I suppose that's okay as long as you're accompanied by some older kids," Jasmine said. She looked over to Sora. "But, before you go, I would like to tell you something since you're collecting Gym Badges." Sora looked at the young Gym Leader.
"Yeah? What?" Sora asked.
"Cianwood City just happens to have a Gym there and the Gym Leader of the Cianwood City Gym is named Chuck. He specializes with Fighting-type Pokémon," Jasmine said.
"Chuck? Fighting-type Pokémon? You didn't meet him by chance, did you?" Sora asked.
"I did whenever I went down there. He's nothing to sneeze at and he takes his training very seriously," Jasmine said. "And his wife is a very good cook."
Riku, Naminé, Tracey, and Sakura all looked at Sora and Kairi along with Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, and the Pichu did the same thing. The couple both noticed the looks they were getting and blushed heavily. Janina even made a grin, knowing something was up. Sora looked at all of his friends.
"Why don't you just take a picture? It'll last much, much longer," Sora said sarcastically.
"So, it's okay to immortalize your expressions just so you can see them again and again, right?" Riku asked.
"There's a ferry that heads there and you can get there if you leave now," Jasmine said.
"Then let's get the show on the road," Sora said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
The group made their way to the port and she found the ship that heads down to Cianwood City. Once they boarded the ship, Sora made the switch on his team. He exchanged Houndour, Slugma, Larvitar, Quagsire, Heracross, and Donphan for Noctowl, Azumarill, Snubbull, Xatu, Scyther, and Murkrow. He figured Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-type Pokémon had a good chance since he's going to be up against Fighting-types.
Sora had to be ready for anything and his battle with Chuck was getting closer he could almost taste it. They went by the Whirl Islands, which got its name due to the whirlpools around the islands.
"I figured Jasmine is a pretty hard opponent, but I wondet how tough is this Chuck guy is," Sora said in his thoughts. "I'll have to wait and see when I see him."
The battle plan he has with Jasmine has come to a temporary delay, but the battle with the Gym Leader Chuck is just around the corner, so Sora will have to be on his toes against this opponent. What kind of battle could he be in? Just wait and see when we continue on.
