Shiv kisses Roman on arrival, but she doesn't kiss Kendall, he notices. The truth is, things still aren't quite the same between them since her open letter about him. He's forgiven her, sure, but it's hard knowing that she thinks all the worst things he knows about himself.
Despite this he's glad he told her and Roman about what happened at her wedding. He remembers how Shiv had stroked his head and Roman had made silly jokes and how it felt like forgiveness, like he could still be worth something despite what he had done.
I'm all apart, he had told them. I'm blown into a million pieces. Now the pieces are back together, in the shape of a broken mess of course, but still. He's himself again. It doesn't hurt like it used to.
In ten days time Shiv will take back her forgiveness and Roman will look at him like he's a piece of shit after all, but he doesn't know that yet. For now, he's just happy to be with his sibs, with Connor's wedding to look forward to. He almost feels like a real person again.
