It seemed like they drove for hours. Google maps showed them exactly where to go, but every time they thought they were getting close, they weren't.

"I don't understand it," Jack said as he turned the Volkswagen around again. "It should be right over that hill."

"Are you sure? Maybe you don't have any signal out here," Sam said as she looked at her phone. The signal was fine. "What is the exact address?"

"That's the thing, I don't have the address. I placed a pin on Google maps that showed where the plane is. Right here," Jack said pointing at the screen on the dash.

It looked easy, just go forward and turn left on the second road. "I'll help remember. Go to the second road on the left."

Jack did exactly as directed and as soon as they passed the first road, they were lost and couldn't find their way. After a few minutes of driving straight on a straight road for the forth time, he pulled over. "I don't get it," he said.

"Can I see his card again?" Sam asked. "Mr. Whosit, I can't remember his name. There was something weird about it, maybe that will help."

"Mr. Teagarden. I have his card right here," Jack said as he pulled it out of his shirt pocket and handed it to Sam.

The moment she touched the card, she saw it. A crazy looking house on the other side of the road with a big gate. The gate they drove through after leaving the plane. "That wasn't just here was it?" Sam said pointing at the house.

Jack turned and saw the house. "What the Hell….?" he said confused. "That most definitely was not there a minute ago. It's like magic."

The moment he said 'magic', a rush of memories came back to her. She clutched her backpack tightly as she saw things. Children again, but she saw faces of ones that she remembered from somewhere. Food appearing on a table in a great hall. Ghosts, flying broomsticks and her father talking to a woman. What could all that be?

"Sam. Sam, what's happening?" Jack asked as he put his hand on her shoulder.

In that instant, Sam's vision changed. She saw her father's memories. It was just like she was inside his head, but smoky scenes flickered by. She saw them driving today and staying at the hotel last night. She then saw their trip to the doctor with Mr. Teagarden, and before that, the plane. Then, it got weird. There was nothing there except blackness. No light at all, no edges and no floor. Sam felt like she was floating above her father, standing there in that darkness. Then she saw it. A flowing piece of green silk. Sam moved closer to the silk that waved in the air like a sash suspended in a slight breeze, attached to nothing. As she got closer, she could smell perfume. A woman's perfume, but she didn't know who.

The blackness dissolved away as her father removed his hand form her shoulder. "What was that," he asked. "I felt like, like you were in my head."

"I was!" Sam said. "I could see your memories. The plane, last night and everything before we arrived in that field was gone. Gone except for that piece of green silk."

"What?" Jack asked.

"You don't remember it? There was some green silk blowing in the breeze and it had a perfume attached to it." Sam said.

Jack was quiet for a minute and then said, "Nope, nothing."

They pulled into Mr. Teagarden's drive and knocked on his door. No answer. Sam had a feeling he was at home, just not wanting to see them. The man from the insurance company was due to arrive any moment and Sam and Jack felt it was best if they flagged him down as he drove past. Sure enough, in a few minutes a white Opel drove by without stopping.

"He can't see the place either," Sam said. I don't think "he can see us."

"I'll go to the other side of the road, you stay here," Jack said. He walked to the other side of the road and watched for the white car to come back. Eventually it did and pulled over as Jack waved. The adjustor looked confused as Jack escorted him across the road. As soon as the man stepped foot on the other side. The look on his face told Sam that he could see the house.

"What kind of trick is this?" The man said.

"Hellooo!" Mr. Teagarden said, just a little too loudly. "Are you here to see the airplane?"

He was dressed in a long black jacket, like he'd been to a coronation, but he had dark green trousers and a lime green shirt. He was also too close, Sam thought. He seemed to appear behind her, but she didn't hear him walk up.

"Hang on," the insurance man said. "What kind of trick are you trying to pull?"

"I assure you, there is nothing going on," Mr. Teagarden said.

Sam watched Mr. Teagarden closely. She was standing behind him, wondering how he would explain this away. He was keeping something secret, that was for sure. He also kept his left hand way down in the outside pocket of his long jacket. He was moving his hand or something when the insurance man suddenly had a change of heart.

"I guess you are right," the man said. It must be my imagination.

Jack stared in disbelief, but Sam knew. He was magic, there was magic in the world and it had something to do with her.
