The next morning Harry sat on the bed waiting to leave . Poppy had already forced some potions and breakfast down his throat but had also let him to get up after that of course she waked one step in front of him with her wand in hand in case he would trip . As Albus entered the hospital wing he frowned at how small the boy actually looked in his oversized clothes the on leg of his pants tucked in his back pocket so he would not fall over it . He forced a smile on his face stepped closer
" Good morning Harry . How are you today ? "
" I'm fine sir "
" please Harry call me Albus you are part of our family now " the small boy just nodded his head not taking his eyes of his knee
" okay I got a message from Poppy ,she said he had an emergency and had to leave but she has already cleared you to leave a song as you take it easy . Ready to go , we are going to take the flow from Poppys office . "
No more than a couple minutes later the pair reappeared in the living room of ' lemon drop cottage ' the room had a calm cozy feeling filled with couched and armchairs that looked incredibly inviting . Connected to the living room was the library that held t least as many books as the one in Hogwards with a ton of natural light entering throw the floor length windows .
The headmaster placed a hand on Harry's shoulder and in a calm voice said " would you prefer to see your room and relax or would you like a tour ?"
" to see my room please "
" okay Harry lets go , the bedrooms are upstairs , everyone has his own bathroom connected to their bedroom , the kitchen is next to the entrance room and the basement is mostly the boys place . Matthew has his office there , Severus has his lab and the both created a small gym . The stairs are charmed you just have to step on the first step and think of where you have to go " the headmaster explained as ther went up the stairs an and down a dark blue corridor filed with pictures of the small family and friends . As they came to the end of the corridor a dark brown door with Harry's name in gold letters opened magically as they came closer . They both entered and where both in awe . The room was magnificent the ceiling was spelled to look like the sky , the walls where painted a soft cream colour , in one corner was a four poster bed with bedding that looked as soft as a cloud his trunk placed at the end of the bed . Next to a bedside table was a glass door that lead to a small balcony that overlooked the garden and the forest that surrounded the perimeter . The other corner was filed with bookshelves and rocking armchair covered in a dark green velvet . On the other side of the room a large deck was placed under a window next to a closet . " I must say the boys did an excellent job with this room , the bathroom is throw the door next to the bookshelf , there is everything you should need . If you need anything please just call for me or Bibi our house elf , Severus is in his lab and Matthew is at work but will all eat dinner together " Harry just said okay and sat on his new bed , Albus sat next to him and placed a calming hand on the boys smaller one " Harry I would also like to explain the rules that we follow in this house . We all respect each others privacy , only enter each other room when the door is open , if not we knock . We are also respectful and please try to get to know Severus and Matthew it would be good for all of you , I will be in the library if you need anything please just call "
And with that Harry was alone again a lonely tear rolled down his face as he got to his trunk and took a small wooden case no bigger than a palm . He opened it and took a silver blade out , he made 5 parallel cuts on his underarm , not enough to really do any damage just enough to calm him down . He rolled his sleeves back down and placed his case in the bedside table and closed his eyes falling asleep in less than a minute .
A few hours later a loud pop wok Harry up , he anxiously looked around and saw a kind looking elf " its nice to meet you young master Harry , master Albus told me that you is part of the family now . Bibi is gonna take good care of you . Bibi has helped raise 2 younglings already ! " Harry just stared at the little creature she was behaving so different from Dobby , she was calm and confident . He smiled at her and said " it is nice to meet you and pleas call me Harry "
" okay Harry . Albus asked me to get you for dinner , when you is ready come to the kitchen , I hope you like Bibi s cooking , I made treacle tart !"
" yes Bibi that's my favourite how did you know ?"
" oh elf's know a lot youngling , now get ready and come down " and with another pop the elf was gone and Harry made his way to the kitchen . As he exited his room he nearly collided with Matthew " Hey Harry sorry didn't see you there , how was your day ?"
" em it was fine thank you , and thank you for the room professor Dumbeldore said you helped " Matthew smiled down at the boy
" I am pretty sure dad asked you to call him Albus and it was really fun to create a new room , now how about we go down ?"
" okay " said Harry as he continued walking . They stayed silent as they made there way to the kitchen . The kitchen was a big open space , one wall was made of glass and had a wonderful view of the garden . A big round table was placed in front of it . At the table sat Albus in his usual colourful ropes and a scowling Severus in black dress pants and a black dress shirt .
" come on take a sit we have been waiting for you " Albus said happily as he saw them enter . They sat down no the food magically appeared already served on their plates . Next to Harrys glass 3 potions appeared . As he made no move to take them Severus scowled and said in a cold voice " really Potter do you not even recognise a nutritional potion or a stomach draft ? " Harry poked down fidgeting with his sleeve already feeling like he messed up . Abus , who sat next to him recognised the younger ones feeling and gave Severus a disappointed glare but it was Matthew who talked next .
" Harry as we explained yesterday you will have to take some potions for some time to help you gain some weight and the last one is to prevent an infection , take them before you start you start eating " he kindly smiled as the little one took the potions with a shaky hand and washed them down with some pumpkin juice . After that the dinner went by quickly , the adults made some light conversation and Harry concentrated mostly on his food only giving short answers when asked something directly . As soon as the plates disappeared he asked to be excused but Matthew stopped him " Harry I will have to change the bandages before you go to sleep , would it be alright if I come up to do that in a little bit ?"
" em sure that's fine " no with a small goodnight to Abus Harry went to his room again . Matthew turned to his brother and dad and in an unusual serious tone said " we need to talk about Harry "
