On Mars, Kara went to visit J'onn. He lived in a temple on a high mountain in relative seclusion. Most days, he meditated on his long life and peered into the minds of everyone on the planet to keep order. Kara dropped in wearing her usual black Supergirl uniform. "Hey, J'onn, I got this World Martial Arts Tournament I want to host on Earth. You want in? You could kick ass on all these Earthlings. You can even take a crack at me."

"I must admit, that does sound interesting," J'onn replied. "Count me in."

"Nice," Kara said pleased.

"You should change your costume. It's been a few years now. You shouldn't mourn forever," J'onn said knowingly.

"Yeah, well, it's just that black is growing on me," Kara said defensively.

"Sure, it is," J'onn doubted, knowing otherwise.

On Earth, Kara decided to take it upon herself to train Mara for the junior world tournament. "Watch my moves. Your Kryptonian brain should be able to memorize them quickly," Kara said and then did a series of martial arts moves she had learned from Jeremiah.

Mara watched Kara as she did a number of punches and kicks but appeared noticeably bored. "Alright, I got a special job for you," Kara said upon noticing Mara's demeanor. "I want you to throw these rocks as hard as you can at me."

Mara took one of the rocks uncertain of herself. "Take your best shot," Kara challenged. Mara threw the rock at super-sonic speed. Kara evaded the rock just barely. The rock went past her and then went through the rock formation behind her. "Holy shit," Kara said softly.

Mara began throwing the rest of the rocks at about the same speed. Kara dodged each of the rocks without too much difficulty. The rocks went right through the rock formation behind her turning it into Swiss cheese. The sonic boom of the rocks and the impact they made were exceedingly louder. "Is it okay if I became blond like you are?" Mara asked innocently.

"Sure. I mean, you can dye your hair, get piercings, tattoos, be yourself," Kara allowed.

"That's not what I meant. I want to be a Super Insane," Mara replied.

"Sure, but you're going to need a lot of years of training before you reach that level. It took your father...," Kara began.

Mara casually went Super Insane in a flash of light. Her black hair became blond, her eyes were now aqua-green, and a glowing gold aura flowed around her. "What the fuck?" Kara wondered. "That's really amazing. Your father had to work really hard to become a Super Insane. When did this happen? How did this happen?"

"Sleeping on a giant solar panel during the day in the Sahara," Mara answered.

"That's lazy as fuck. I love it," Kara smiled. "Okay, if you can go Super Insane, you can spar with me. Show me what you got."

Kara and Mara did an intensity sparing that blasted apart the nearby rock formations and trees. Kara stayed on the defensive as she blocked all of Mara's punches and kicks. Finally, Kara took to the air to escape Mara's barrage. Mara remained standing on the top of a mountain hill dumbfounded. "Get yourself up here," Kara told her.

"I can't fly," Mara admitted.

"Damn...we're going to have to fix that," Kara realized.

Metropolis

Mon had Brainiac 5 construct a gravity machine room that would allow him to train under intense gravity. After several failed attempts with the building exploding, Brainiac 5 finally managed a facility that could hold Mon's power. Inside the room, the gravity could reach up to 300x Earth's gravity. In this case, Mon was merely doing a routine workout at 150x Earth's gravity. He did non-stop punches and kicks as a Super Insane. This time, Kon was in the room barely able to walk around. Mon eyed Kon with some irritation.

"What are you doing? The gravity in this room is too much for you. Go play somewhere else," Mon said rudely.

"I have to get in shape for the junior world martial arts tournament. Mara is going to do it, too," Kon explained.

"Whatever," Mon rolled his eyes. "What's your strategy to winning?"

"I guess I'll go super," Kon said nonchalantly and then went Super Insane in a flash of light. Immediately, his spiky black hair became blond and his eyes became aqua-green. He began to run around and jump about as if the gravity was nothing.

"What...the...actual...fuck?" Mon wondered as he saw Kon moving about as a Super Insane. "The legendary Super Insane myth has been reduced to a mere child's plaything."

Kon continued to play around in the room oblivious to Mon's seething envy and annoyance. "Kon, come over here. Your sister, Mara. Can she become a Super Insane as well?"

"Yeah," Kon replied as if it were nothing.

"This...pisses me off...so much," Mon grumbled. "Kon, I want you to hit me. If you can land even one punch on my face, I'll take you to Disney World."

"Alright!" Kon said pumped up and motivated. Kon powered up and punched at Mon as fast as he could with accurate shots. Mon blocked every single one of his punches for a good ten seconds until Kon managed to score a blow on his cheek. Pissed off, Mon punched Kon to the floor. As soon as he did it, Mon immediately felt regret, an unusual feeling.

"You never said you would hit back," Kon protested, on the verge of tears.

"Well, I never said I wouldn't, Kon. You shouldn't have let your guard down," Mon scolded. "Dry your tears. We're going to the park."

"Really?" Kon asked hopefully as Mon had a tendency to go back on his word.

"But tell me this: Which one of you is stronger, you or your sister?" Mon asked.

"I'm a little stronger plus Mara can't fly," Kon smirked.

"A little, huh?" Mon asked dismayed. "What the fuck is going on here?" he asked himself.

Later that week, Mara had mastered the ability to fly and was able to spar with Kara in the air. Kara stayed within the same level as Mara even when she was Super Insane. The two punched and kicked in the air creating shockwaves with each blow. Mara suddenly hit the ground with a thud and lost her Super Insane form, completely exhausted.

"I give up. I can't beat you," Mara said defeated.

"Don't be like that. I've been at this a lot longer than you have. Mara, you're amazing in your own way. You just have to find a way that makes you different from everyone else," Kara advised.

"It's true, right? Father is going to be at the tournament," Mara said nervously.

"Yeah, unfortunately," Kara rolled her eyes.

Japan

On the day of the tournament, Kara, Mon, Kon, and Mara met up. "No going Super Insane during the tournament," Kara said to them all.

"What the fuck for?" Mon protested.

"You have to ask? With that kind of uncontrolled power, you could blow up the arena or the entire city," Kara reasoned. "The last thing I need is negative publicity like that."

"Let those paparazzi worms try to corner me," Mon scoffed.

"It's not like you can unleash on them," Kara told him off.

"That's exactly what I'll do," Mon promised.

"If you go Super Insane, I'll go Prime. Then, you're definitely fucked," Kara said to him.

"Fine, as if I need my Super Insane form to secure victory," Mon relented.

"Excellent. Those humans might get a fair shot this time," Kara said pleased.

Upon walking up to the entrance of the tournament, reporters swarmed Kara. "What's your chances of winning the tournament?" one asked.

"The odds of me winning is one hundred twenty percent," Kara smiled.

"I understand your daughter is entering the competition as well in the junior division," another report said.

"Yes, but leave her alone. Focus all attention on me," Kara warned. Kara then noticed J'onn in the shadows in deep contemplation. He looked ancient but remained tall and athletic. "So, am I allowed to kick your ass or...what?" Kara asked him.

"Don't be too full of yourself. I've grown stronger over the last thousand years," J'onn told her off.

"I want to see everything you can do," Kara said wide-eyed.

"Get in line," J'onn ordered her.

Kon eyed Mara. "I'm not going to go easy on you," he informed her.

"Me neither," Mara replied back.

Reporters swarmed on J'onn as he walked with Mon to the preliminary arena. "Mind telling us where you're from?" an oblivious reporter asked J'onn.

"Really?" J'onn shook his head dismayed. He began firing low-intensity heat vision to destroy the cameras of all the reporters gathered.

A team of medics then came up to J'onn. "Are you alright? You look a little green," they said concernedly.

"Fuck off," J'onn told them off.

"Well, okay then," the medics said and then took off.

In the preliminary arena, dozens of humans and a few aliens were present. Vindicator members: Imra, Nura, Drake, and Dirk were present. Brainiac 5 then came up to Kara. "I'll be the referee for this event. It would be a shame if there were mass fatalities."

"I'll kick ass for real if it comes to it," Kara assured him.

Brainiac 5 then addressed the crowd. "Of the one hundred ninety-four that have entered the tournament, only sixteen will be allowed to compete in one-on-one combat. One of the sixteen is marked for Her Majesty Queen Kara, our reigning champ. As usual, we will use a punch machine to arbitrarily decide who the remaining fifteen competitors will be chosen. To show how the machine works and give a proper demonstration, Her Majesty will be the first punch."

The reporters' cameras all mysteriously exploded around J'onn. Kara went over to the punch machine and lightly gave it a tap with a score of 137. "Everyone, do your best and you might be the son-of-bitch I might fight later on," Kara said to the crowd.

The humans went about punching as hard as they could getting various scores. Brainiac 5 recorded all of their scores on a digital screen. Nura went up to the punching machine and scored 220. A young man by the name of Val Armorr came up and punched a 192. J'onn lightly punched the machine and got a score of 210. Imra raised her hand to the punch machine and telekinetically pushed it forward giving her a sufficiently high score.

"Stand back, losers," Mon said to the crowd of humans and then punched the machine so hard it tore apart like a total asshole.

"Really subtle," Kara rolled her eyes.

In the junior division, it wasn't common knowledge that Kon and Mara were royalty and the children of the most powerful beings on the planet. "Hey, kid, I'm going to kick your ass," Idasa, a fifteen-year-old boy said and then gave Kon a mock punch. Kon didn't even flinch, unconcerned with a human punch. "Don't piss yourself," Idasa continued to antagonize.

"Get lost, idiots," Kon smirked to Idasa and his friends.

"I'm going to pound you so hard into the ground, they'll never find you," Idasa swore.

"Oh, really?" Kon mocked.

Brainiac 5 began the junior division tournament with thirty-five kids of various ages. "There is no preliminary round. They will be fighting under the same rules as the adults: giving up, going out of bounds, being down for a ten count, or being knocked out with constitute a loss."

In their private box, Mon, J'onn, Imra, Nura, Drake, and Dirk watched the junior fights. The kids were mostly obnoxious and untrained. The fights were generally embarrassing and painful to watch. "I want to vomit," Mon said disgusted.

On the field, Kara congratulated the winners and consoled some of the losers as she worked the crowd. "Always keep your head up, win or lose," Kara told one loser.

Idasa and Kon finally came up to the ring. "You ready to cry, you dirty runt?" Idasa taunted.

"Shut the fuck up," Kon rolled his eyes.

"What? I'll be sure to punch you extra hard for that," Idasa said outraged.

"Save your breath," Kon told him off.

The oblivious crowd figured the larger Idasa would have the advantage. As soon as the match began, Kon gave Idasa a sweeping kick taking his legs off the floor. Within a fraction of a second, Kon kicked Idasa to the back sending him into the air. Idasa then landed on the ring floor on his face knocked out. Kon confidently walked off the ring knowing he had won.

"Perhaps, I should have gone a little easier on him and not taken it so personally," Kon smirked. "Nah, he was a punk."

Kara winced as she saw Idasa taken off the ring by medics. "God damn it, Kon," she shook her head dismayed.

Mara then came up against her fourteen-year-old opponent, Ikose. As before, the crowd assumed the older kid had the advantage. As it was, Mara was the only girl among the fighters. Mara eyed the crowd a little apprehensively. As the match began, Mara gave Ikose a polite bow. Ikose danced around and did some mock punches to try to intimidate her. Mara merely stared with a blank look on her face. Finally, Ikose tried to hit Mara to the face with his hardest punch. Mara blocked with her index finger. Ikose then gave her a kick which Mara casually blocked with her arm.

"You're going to need to hit me as hard as you can if you hope to win," Mara said to him.

Ikose punched Mara several times, all blocked. "Is this all you got?" Mara asked amazed, having never fought such a weak opponent before. Mara then punched Ikose to the chin with a light tap, dropping him. Mara gave a bow as Ikose fell to the floor knocked out.

As the matches continued, Kon and Mara exhibited different fighting styles. Kon went for a one-blow knockout while Mara entertained her opponent for a while allowing them to show her all of their moves. Finally, Kon and Mara were the last children standing. Kara gave the third, fourth, and fifth-place finishers the gold, silver, and bronze awards for their efforts. The crowd was a bit confused by this until Kon and Mara's names were unmasked.

"Prince Kon-El and Princess Mara-El for the junior division championship," Brainiac 5 announced.

The crowd eyed the two royal children with amazement and some fear as to what they were capable of. "You do know I'm going to win, right?" Kon said confidently to Mara.

"I wouldn't be so sure," Mara replied back.

Since it was a mixed-gender match, the crowd was naturally more sympathetic to Mara. "I'm warning you, I'm not going to hold back," Kon said as he went into a fighting stance.

"Me neither," Mara replied.

In his private box, Mon stared at the match with some apprehension that his son might lose and the humiliation that would bring. Kon and Mara suddenly launched at each other and blocked each other with their forearms. The two struggled against each other with pure strength until Kon pushed Mara off of him. Mara went on the offensive with quick punches and kicks. Kon returned the favor. After several blows, the two leaped away from each other and then launched themselves into the air.

To Kon's surprise, Mara was able to fight in the air. The two continued to rise in the air even as they punched and kicked at each other non-stop. Kon ruthlessly punched Mara hard to the cheek in a first blow. Mara punched him back to the face just as hard. The two began to increase their speed to the point that they couldn't track each other's movements for a time. The two then came together with punch and kick combinations, still in the air. Kon punched Mara to the face and then evaded her counterattack. The two descended back onto the ring floor.

Kon and Mara flew at each other but this time, Kon used an after-image effect to fool Mara. She struggled to stop in time before going over the edge but then evaded Kon's strike with a flip. Kon was right on her with a kick to her back. Mara nearly went out of the ring before flipping and stopping herself in midair. Slightly irked, Mara launched at Kon head-butting him to the chest and then punching him to the face nearly taking him out of the ring. The two went up in the air where Mara got Kon into a wrestling hold. Kon quickly escaped her grip and punched her hard to the face. He then kicked her hard to the back with the intent of sending her toward the ground. Mara landed on the ring floor at the same time as Kon did. The two launched at each other and punched each other hard to the face at the same time.

The two quickly recovered from the blow and continued fighting in the air. The two clashed at the fist creating a shockwave in the air and then came back down to the ring floor in a total stalemate. As the fight took a pause, the crowd roared in applause completely amazed by their fighting ability. Kon and Mara eyed the crowd in wonder at the love they were receiving.

"Nice one, sis. I wonder what your training routine must be but whatever it is, it's working for you," Kon said condescendingly.

"Perhaps mother is a superior coach," Mara shot back.

"Oh, yeah?" Kon asked slightly irked. "Did she teach you how to do this?" Kon powered up an energy attack in his hands. "Emak emak Ah!" he shouted as he fired it off.

Mara jumped out of the way just in time. The beam went straight for the crowd for a mass slaughter. Thankfully, the beam deflected off the barricade to the stands and into the air. "Holy shit," Kara realized as she watched.

"Neat, what do you think?" Kon smirked, completely unrepentant.

Mara's eyes went red and then she fired heat vision right at him. Kon dodged the beam easily enough. The beam sliced off a piece of the roof of the entrance leading to the tournament arena causing a small fire. "I guess my aim needs some work."

"I say we nix the energy blasts just to be safe. Don't want to get into trouble," Kon suggested. "I won't use them if you don't."

"Alright," Mara allowed cautiously.

"I'm going to finish this before the spectators get bored," Kon said confidently and went into a fighting stance. The two charged each other, locked up once they made contact, and then Kon threw Mara into the air with a judo move. Mara stabilized herself in the air and looked around. Kon appeared right behind her and put her in a shoulder lock.

"I got you now," Kon said gleefully.

"Let me go, or I'll break your arms," Mara threatened.

Despite Mara's best efforts, Kon held a good grip on her. "Give up, yet?" Kon asked her. Kon continued to pull back on Mara's arms. "What are you waiting for? Just give up, already," Kon said as he pulled harder. In truth, he didn't want to dislocate her arms and break her collarbones. "Any more and you'll pop like a grape."

"No way," Mara refused.

"Come on, hang in there," Kara said as she bit her lip.

"It's over," Kon told her. Mara suddenly went Super Insane and broke Kon's grip instantly. Mara then dropped to the ring below. Kon remained in the air with a WTF look on his face. At Super Insane, Mara had increased her base level by 50x allowing her to easily escape. On the ring floor, she went back to her base form again.

Kon landed on the ring floor. "Not cool. We all agreed not to go Super Insane during this match," he said pissed off.

"I guess I forgot," Mara replied coldly.

"Well, don't do it again," Kon warned.

"Fine," Mara replied.

"I'll still going to win but I'll give you a fighting chance because you're a girl. I'll not use my left arm," Kon smirked.

"As you wish," Mara replied unimpressed.

Kon then went on the attack using only his right arm and two legs. Despite the handicap, Kon and Mara were essentially equal in fighting ability. Still, the handicap was taking its toll on Kon. Mara gave him a sweeping kick to the head and another punch to the face knocking him off-balance. Kon then fired an energy beam straight at Mara. She evaded the attack just in time as the beam created an explosion on the ring's surface.

Kon looked up and saw Mara high in the air. "Here I come," Mara said to him as she shot down towards the ground. Kon tensed up as he wondered what she would do. He evaded her just as she was about to hit the ring. Mara fired an energy beam to the ring floor just as she was about to hit to ricochet her off the floor and slam into Kon. Unable to dodge her, Kon went Super Insane and sped away from her. He reappeared behind her and fired an energy blast to her back. Mara was forced off the ring and wasn't able to stop herself from hitting the stands.

"God damn it," Kara sighed disappointedly. In the stands, Mon had a good chuckle but was slightly irked that the fight was even close.

Mara walked up to the ring as Kon smirked victoriously. "You cheated, Kon. You went Super Insane and used your left arm," she accused.

"You went Super Insane, so I get to go Super Insane. Also, I didn't hit you with my left arm, so it's fine," Kon excused. Mara continued to glare at him. "Lighten up."

"I'll never forget this, Kon," Mara said angrily, walking off.

"Shit," Kon sighed.

"As a prelude to the main event, let's allow our new champion a head-to-head with Her Majesty," Brainiac 5 suggested.

Kon gave a fearful look as he knew what that would entail. "I am so fucked," he realized.

Kara entered the arena and stepped onto the ring as the crowd applauded. Kara held out two peace signs to the crowd as she walked up to Kon. "I would go super if I were you," Kara told him.

Kon gulped and immediately powered up to Super Insane. "I'll even give you the first punch," Kara said as she lowered herself to his level and turned her head for him. Kon looked around anxiously and then noticed his father giving him the nod. With that encouragement, Kon punched Kara to the cheek as hard as he could. The blow created a shockwave that cracked the air. Kara remained standing only slightly affected. She stood up and rubbed her jaw as the bruise on her cheek evaporated.

"We have ourselves a winner! Super technique!" Kara declared to the audience. She then smirked at a dumbfounded Kon, shook her head condescendingly, and then walked out of the arena.

Right before the adult competition was to start, the contestants were allowed to have lunch first. Kara simply eyed Mon as he inhaled bowl after bowl of the buffet. On the other extreme, J'onn didn't eat anything as per usual. "Disgusting," Kara chided.

"Why aren't you eating? You on a diet or something?" Mon mocked.

Kara glared at him as Mon continue to eat plate after plate, bowl after bowl like a total savage. She eyed some of the other human contestants that wouldn't have a chance against the Vindicators. One of the humans was wearing a Karate uniform. Kara eyed him, wondering if he could be a good recruit.

After lunch, the contestants marched out to the drawing ceremony. As they did, they encountered a pale, slender, tall alien that appeared to be hovering off the ground. Next to him was an obvious robot. "Good day to you. Do I have the pleasure of addressing Kara Zor-El?" he asked politely.

"Maybe, how do you know me?" Kara asked suspiciously.

"Your reputation precedes you, many stories of your adventures in this millennium and the one before," the alien said. "I've actually come here to satisfy my curiosity. I hope we will have an opportunity to compete. Don't worry, I'm not foolish enough to think I could win against you. I only wish to know if all the legends about you are true."

"You see...that's how you brown nose," Kara said to the others.

"Come now, let's shake hands," the alien requested.

"Don't do it," J'onn warned.

"It's a trap," Mon taunted.

Kara ignored them and shook the alien's hand. "Nice to meet you."

"Excellent, you truly possess a fine spirit worthy of the rumors I have been told," the alien complimented. "Good day," he said as he walked off.

"Who the fuck was that?" J'onn wondered.

"Maybe the winner of this tournament isn't a for sure thing after all," Kara said reflectively, totally self-absorbed.

"He doesn't seem too tough to me. Just a weird-ass alien and his robot," Mon doubted.

At the drawing ceremony, sixteen contestants were present: Kara, Mon, J'onn, Imra, Nura, Drake, Dirk, Val, two siblings with the letter M carved on their foreheads, the weird-ass alien, and his robot, a man that looked like he was in a masked KKK uniform, two average human fighters, and a Sumo wrestler.

Match 1

The band played at the start of the first match, and fireworks went off. "It's been so long. Time to cut loose," Val said to himself.

"The first match will be Val Armorr and Chuck Taine," Brainiac 5 announced.

The two got stuck in the door as they exited their waiting room to the arena. "What is your problem?" Val protested as the two were squeezed inside the door.

"I'm sorry, I'm just fat," Chuck excused.

The two managed to get past the doorway and make their way to the ring. Chuck, looking morbidly obese, waddled his way behind Val. "Contestant Val Armorr has shown promise in Japanese martial arts tournaments even at a young age. He has reportedly mastered every black belt of every martial art in existence. Contestant Chuck Tain is notorious for his ferocious eating habits and is here to set the record straight that he's more muscle than fat."

As the match began, Chuck rolled around the ring with his body and did a number of flips. "I bet you weren't expecting someone so big to be so fast," he said to Val. "Hit me with everything you got," he said as he expanded his gut to make himself look like a ball.

Val punched deep into Chuck's gut, like, his entire forearm. Val then bitch-slapped Chuck to his fat face several times and then kicked him out of the ring. "Contestant Val Armorr wins," Brainiac 5 announced. Val went back to the contestant's waiting room while medics were on site to support Chuck who was dazed and confused on his fat ass.

Match 2

"The next match will be between J'onn J'onnz and Metron," Brainiac 5 announced.

"Excellent. I do believe I will enjoy this," Metron said to J'onnz as they walked out to the ring.

On the ring, J'onn appeared apprehensive towards Metron. He couldn't sense his mind, use his X-ray vision on him, or utilize any of his other powers. It was as if Metron had neutralized his abilities. Instead, J'onn was filled with thoughts that he shouldn't fight Metron. The crowd became restless as neither one of them made a move.

"I am Metron, the supreme explorer, scientist, and inventor of the New Gods," Metron revealed to J'onn in his mind.

Dumbfounded by the opponent he was facing, J'onn turned to Brainiac 5. "I...concede."

The crowd was noticeably pissed that J'onn had thrown the match without a fight. "What happened? You having an off-day? Is he that serious?" Kara asked concernedly.

"He's in a class of his own," J'onn told her.

"Wait...I have to fight him in the next round," Val noted.

"Then, you're fucked," J'onn said simply.

Match 3

Brainiac 5 then announced the next contestants. "Imra Ardeen and Blackheart." Kara turned to Imra before she went out there. "That M on his forehead looks a little ominous. Try to get any information from his mind and where he's from before you kick his ass."

"Humans and their tattoos," Imra rolled her eyes.

"It's time," Minsha said to him.

Metron gave Blackheart a look of concern as they crossed paths. Blackheart had pale skin, a lean muscular physique, and a wild mane of hair. On his forehead was a letter M tattoo. Blackheart eyed Imra with rage, ready to fight. Imra took the offensive early on with punches and kicks. Blackheart was forced on the defensive.

In the waiting room, J'onn confronted Metron. "You're the god in the chair and that knows shit?"

"I am," Metron replied. "I would prefer if you didn't tell the others until the proper time."

"Sure, whatever," J'onn agreed.

Kara went over to J'onn as he appeared to be freaking out for Martian standards. "You, alright? Do I need to kick his ass for you?"

"Stay clear of him for now," J'onn warned.

Blackheart soon found himself knocked down but was able to get back up before the count. Imra continued on the offensive with Blackheart still blocking. Imra kicked him to the floor. Blackheart got back up and charged Imra. She telekinetically lifted him up and slammed him back down to the ring floor. Imra sensed into Blackheart's mind but found herself blocked. Imra fired telekinetic shockwaves at Blackheart to his chest and face knocking him down. At this point, she could have easily sent him out of the ring, but she wanted to get into his mind.

Blackheart kept getting up despite bleeding from his face. Imra telekinetically grabbed Blackheart's face and slammed his body to the ring. Imra then personally punched him several times to the torso and a kick to the chin as he came up. Blackheart seemed down for the count. Imra tried to peer into his mind once more, but Blackheart got back to his feet.

"Imra needs to drop out now," Kara said softly as she watched the fight.

Blackheart gave Imra a brutal backhand. She tried to stop his forearm with her telekinetic power only to find she could no longer use her power. She ended up on the ring floor stunned. Imra then got kicked out of the ring, but she managed to remain in the air off the ground. She then went back onto the ring floor. Imra wiped the blood from her lip. Blackheart went for a punch and a kick. Imra dodged his attacks and then twisted his neck around with telekinesis for an instant kill. Blackheart was on the floor presumably dead.

The crowd was instantly horrified at the killing. Imra gave a cold expression unconcerned by the protesting crowd. Blackheart then got back to his feet and twisted his neck around. Imra took to the air as she assessed the situation. Blackheart took to the skies as well above her. He pointed his hand at her and fired a purple beam of energy. Imra tried to block the beam with her shield, but it was too much for her. She slammed into the ring burnt and hurt. Blackheart then landed, laughing as he did.

"The man is intentionally holding back," Mon remarked from the waiting room.

"The only thing I know for sure is that M on his forehead is bad news," Kara said intensely.

Imra raised her hand and telekinetically crushed his ribcage as she kept him still. Blackheart broke through her hold, head-butted her, and then kicked her hard to the gut. He then slammed her to the floor with a brutal punch. Imra got back to her feet, flew up to Blackheart, and punched him several times to the head. Blackheart, seemingly unaffected, kicked her away and elbowed her to the gut. Blackheart then punched Imra repeatedly to the face and torso while she was on the ring floor. Imra evaded Blackheart's punch as it went through the floor. She punched him several times to the face with no result. Blackheart caught her last punch, swung her around his head, and then slammed her to the ring floor.

"The big freak is just toying with her," Val observed from the waiting room.

Imra slowly got to her feet. Blackheart took the offensive, beating the shit out of her. He took Imra over his knee and slammed her back. Blackheart then casually punched Imra to the face over his knee. Blackheart took Imra by her hair and suspended her off the ring floor. Even still, Imra tried to get into his head. Blackheart merely chuckled at her efforts and then punched her several times to the gut with his other hand as if she were a punching bag. Blackheart then punched her across the ring floor. Imra cried out in pain but refused to give up.

"I'm not supposed to interfere, but you should call it quits," Brainiac 5 advised her.

"I got this," Imra said painfully and then got back to her feet.

Blackheart grabbed Imra by her hair and rammed his kneecap into her face. Imra was now bleeding from her eyes, nose, and lips from the blow. "Brutal as fuck," Val said stunned.

Blackheart then put his foot on Imra's head to crush it. The crowd appeared horrified as Blackheart was about to crush Imra's skull like a melon. Kara was about to make a move when Mishna interfered from the sidelines. "Stop this. Put an end to this match so we can get on with what we're really here to do," she scolded. "Just win the damn match."

Blackheart kicked Imra off the ring floor winning the match. "Blackheart is the winner," Brainiac 5 said somberly.

Medics were on the scene and began to heal Imra injuries instantly. She had a skull fracture, broken nose, broken jaw, a few broken ribs, and internal injuries. "Were you able to get anything on him?" Kara asked concernedly.

Imra merely shook her head. "Well...shit," Kara frowned.

Match 4

In the waiting room, Blackheart and Mishna were by themselves away from the others. "This next one may be the one," she said to him.

Draka aka Wildfire and Metron's robot servant took to the ring. Drake wore a protective armored suit to prevent his energy from getting out of control and nuking the planet.

"Forgive me, but I require that you fight me at full intensity," the robot said to him.

"Why?" Drake asked suspiciously.

"Everything will become clear soon enough. At this moment, I need to see how powerful you are," the robot replied.

"So, it begins," Metron said from the waiting room.

"In front of all these people?" Drake asked concernedly.

"Do it," J'onn encouraged him.

"J'onn, what the fuck is going on?" Kara demanded.

"I don't know any more than you do, just a feeling," J'onn said vaguely.

"I fear I must make use of your colleague, please forgive me," Metron said respectfully. "It is vital none of you make a move for what you are about to see."

"Wait...what?" Val wondered.

"What's your deal, asshole?" Kara asked impatiently.

"I only take orders from people above me which would be none," Mon refused. "Who the fuck do you think you are?"

"This man is Metron, the man that is above all the New Gods, the most knowledgeable man in the entire universe," J'onn revealed.

"So that part about not knowing any more than I was you being full of shit," Kara said annoyed.

At the ring, the robot servant of Metron pressed the issue. "Time is wasting," he said to Drake.

"Looks like I don't have much of a choice," Drake replied. "Banshō issai kaijin to nase," he said as flames roared around him, and the ring began to shake. The ring quickly became a furnace of fire and lightning.

The robot servant of Metron scanned Drake as his power level spiked. Blackheart and Mishna were also watching intensely. "He is the one," Mishna determined.

"What do you have in mind? You asked for it and now you've got it," Drake said from the pillar of flames.

Mon scoffed at the display of power. "Pathetic, barely a fraction of what he was before. It would seem he needs to be constantly recharged."

"Be it as it may, his power is well beyond what I had come to expect. Even I am uncertain I can properly contain it," Metron considered.

Blackheart and Mishna suddenly leaped into action. Metron immediately used his neutralizing ability to contain Drake's powers. The flames immediately died down. "What the fuck are you doing?" Kara demanded of Metron.

Blackheart and Mishna suddenly attacked Drake with a device designed to drain him of power. It breached his armored suit and began draining. Metron paralyzed Drake in place to keep him from fighting back. Metron's robot passively observed the scene during the assault. The crowd watching gave a collective WTF. Blackheart and Mishna drained a sufficient amount and then flew off.

"Let them escape. I will follow them," Metron said to the others. His robot servant transformed into a chair for him to sit on. Metron then flew off on his chair after the two.
