As a bonus, I had to throw this chapter in. This was a great way to finish off the Sports Festival Arc honestly.
So the ultimatum worked.
Possibly?
How it worked was beyond Suri because in all honesty her dad was still her legal guardian and, well, her dad! By all legalities he had every right to drag Suri's happy ass kicking and screaming back to the States. Back to her birthplace, and back to where apparently half the pack wanted her punished. And yes, it was their right to be mad because she broke tradition. She interfered with a challenge of power because she thought to take action. Was it in the best interest of the pack? She couldn't really say because she was clearly biased towards the rule under her dad and oldest brother, Mathias. Bias aside she wasn't going to watch her brother die at the hands of someone who threatened her and her family.
Pack laws said she wasn't supposed to act. Pack laws said to just have her sit back and watch the entire brutal and bloody show then wait her turn and took what came next like an obedient, good little girl.
Fuck pack laws.
Besides, if he had killed Mathias, she would have killed him in the end anyway. It would have been self defense and revenge rolled into one sweet little bloody package.
And in the end, she still would have had to run. She would have still ended up on her grandmother's doorstep. Still ended up in UA. She might possibly have gone further than the fucking second round in the finals of the UA Sports Festival! Thanks dad. And, most importantly of all, she would have still ended up here right now across the table from her best friend in this cute little cafe they found at the mall near the UA campus.
They had already done some light shopping, quickly finding that they had very different choices in what to wear on their feet. Suri dragged Tooru to a store for athletic apparel and tried on a selection of basketball shoes, skate shoes, and running shoes while the invisible girl had taken them through a selection of heels, sandals, and a variety of flats. They did manage to agree on a couple pairs of sneakers though so there was that at least. And then Tooru had pulled Suri into, honestly, one of the most girly stores she had ever set foot into.
Suri was not that big into pink. She didn't mind it, it really had a wonderful contrast to her skin tone, she knew it accented her nicely but… it just wasn't her color. Okay, she did like pink because of Mina. Pink looked damn good on her. That was when Tooru had pulled her to the clothes that were loud and bright and shades of yellows, greens, and golds. The two of them managed to walk out of that store with a couple shirts each, much to Suri's surprise. They had been heading to a third store when Suri heard Tooru's stomach grumble and, after she had blushed at it, from Suri laughing at how loud it had been, they wound up here.
Just two close girl friends chatting it up about the festival and filling in Suri on what ended up happening after her match.
Because she fainted, Tsunotori had been declared the winner and advanced into the final four. It was made very clear that, before that, they had missed one hell of a match between Izuku and Todoroki. Suri had caught a break on time because Todoroki basically blew the entire arena up and Cementoss had to do a shit ton of repair work. After Suri's, came the match between Mina and Kirishima. The latter had held out until Mina was nearly exhausted from using her acid and then he basically judo tossed her out of bounds. After that was the match between Bakugou and Tokoyami. It had been a great back and forth battle before Bakugou just overwhelmed Dark Shadow with bright explosions and forced the bird boy into submission.
The final four matches went nearly as expected.
Tsunotori had lasted all but sixty seconds running around trying to get away from Todoroki's ice. She had managed to hit him once with one of her horn attacks, so props to her. In the end, she got blasted out of the ring and pinned to the wall in an ice cocoon. Suri lamented about how much fun it would have been to take on Tsunotori and then to be able to take on Todoroki. She made the comment about how she would have been done for if Todoroki had used his fire like he did against Deku but Tooru informed her that he refused to use fire all but the one time.
Good on Deku then.
Kirishima and Bakugou came next and it had been a good match as well with some good back and forth action. Kirishima had wanted to make it a battle of attrition like he had against Mina but it ended up backfiring on him. Literally. Bakugou had worked up so much sweat over the course of the battle that he just kept up a barrage of attacks and eventually, Kirishima cracked. Then came the final battle between Todoroki and Bakugou. Tooru remarked that Todoroki didn't seem like he had his head in the game and he wasn't completely focused. It had been a great match as well with both of them going toe to toe power wise. And then Bakugou hit Todoroki with an amazing attack, and it should have been countered or met with resistance that would have blown the arena to bits again but… it didn't. Todoroki gave out at the last second, took a full hit, and Bakugou won.
The little shit did what he said he would but…
"You shoulda seen him!" Tooru exclaimed, flailing her arms. Then she dropped her voice to mimic their male classmate. "He was all like, get up! Don't you wimp out on me like that! I don't wanna win without you using your left side!"
Suri laughed, let a wide smile curl for the moment and then fade as she let out a deep sigh and sat back in her seat.
"Funny thing is, I agree with him. Like, I know I said fire basically does me in but, Bakugou's right, Todoroki came at him with one arm tied behind his back the entire fight."
"But shouldn't he be happy with the win anyway? He didn't have to be such an ass about accepting the medal."
"True, the medal is nice and I'd take it, don't get me wrong, but," Suri thought for a moment. "Okay, so me and my brothers grew up playing ball and we'd always go to the courts and play pick up games when we got the chance. It was more fun when it was against other weres but that's beside the point. A lot of guys, if they were hot shit and they knew it and they wanted to punk you, they'd bet you they could beat you one handed. I had a ton of games where they'd go in handicapped," Suri rolled her eyes.
"And, even after I beat them, they'd bitch that it doesn't count. Because hey, sure you beat them, but they only had one hand so it don't count. And most of the time, I agreed with them. Sure, I had fun, but the win didn't mean as much or feel like an accomplishment because they weren't taking me seriously."
"But you still beat them!"
Suri shrugged and leaned in as the waitress brought them two bowls of ice cream. The wolf girl grinned and let a purr trickle through her throat as she leaned in and took in the first cold, delicious scoop of caramel and chocolate drizzled frozen yumminess. Tooru squealed with delight as she took her first bite and Suri couldn't help but lick her lips from the sound. She oh so wanted to make her make more of those sounds.
Down, Suri! Down, girl!
"So did you play them again without their arms behind their backs?"
"Yup."
"And?"
"Oh that didn't count, I was going easy on you, girls don't like getting roughed up in the games," Suri rolled her eyes as she spoke with a mocking tone. "And then they would talk in circles when I'd tell them to go rough on me. Like, c'mon guys, either come at me or stop talking."
Tooru sighed and shook her head.
"Us girls just can't win, can we?"
"Nope. That's why we have to push harder than a lot of the guys, especially being pro heroes. Us, we're just expected to be eye candy, no real use on the battlefield or in crime fighting, like, they think all we can do is pull out our tits and that's what stops the bad guys."
"I mean," Tooru giggled and Suri saw her wave her spoon towards Suri's ample cleavage.
Suri grinned and leaned forward, purposely accentuating the view.
"Hey, they caught you, right?" Suri let her voice come out as a low purr and wore a wide, seductive grin. She knew that would have her friend burning up from the blush that was sure to be there.
Tooru let out a pouty grumble mixed with a stifled scream. She then watched the shadowy figure turn her head to look away and in the most adorable fashion tried to eat her ice cream and be grumpy at the same time.
"I rest my case," Suri grinned and leaned back, satisfied with her victory.
"At least people…" Tooru let out a long sigh and tapped her spoon against her frozen treat.
Suri gave her friend a soft smile and leaned up near halfway across the table and tried to get her to look into her eyes. She managed to get Tooru's attention and peered into where her eyes lay with a comforting look.
"Hey, I don't have to see you perfectly to know you're beautiful, hun. You just keep showing off in your own way, and they'll realize what I've basically known all along."
Tooru grumbled again, most likely puffing her cheeks as they went bright red. Suri grinned wide and went in for another attack on the poor girl's current state.
"Besides, I don't have to see em' cause I've felt em'," she gave Tooru a wicked grin and raised both hands making grabbing gestures.
"Suri!" Tooru squealed. "Oh my god. I thought you said you didn't remember after… you know."
"I did," she quipped back, going for another bite of ice cream. "But I also said that my memory fills in eventually. It takes a day or two but Atiena's memories become mine, which isn't always a good thing. There's definitely some Lupanars, worth forgetting."
One in particular.
"Are all Lupanars bad then?" Tooru asked curiously.
"No, not really. Most are fun and most have been where I've been able to prove myself. I get to fight my brothers for real, I get to fight some of the other really strong wereanimals, and it's all for fun. I'm usually sore as hell for the next few days but I never regret the brawls. It's where I get to hunt and run free and just… let myself be the animal that I am."
"I don't think you're an animal."
There was such honest sincerity in Tooru's voice.
"Yeah, I've seen what you turn into and it'd be hard to say otherwise but do you lose all of your human side during that? When you- I mean, Atiena… came back the other night you were still very… you."
"Hah," Suri chuckled. "I think she's the even more bold side of me. I'd thought about waking up with you before, sure, but Atiena was the one who had the balls to take you to bed. And she was the one with the uncertain fact you wouldn't run."
"I mean it scared me at first," Tooru admitted. "It's still a little scary now."
"Oh?" Suri gave her a questioning glance.
"Because I had never done anything like that before and…"
Tooru's words trailed off and she looked away shyly before quickly shoving a couple bites of her own ice cream into her mouth. Suri just gave her a long smile.
"You didn't hate it or regret it."
Tooru remained silent but Suri thought she saw the girl's shadowy head make a small nodding gesture in response.
"So… what else did you do at the Lupanars? What would make you want to forget them if you enjoy the things you said?"
Suri lowered her head. It was her turn to take a couple quick bites before she rolled her eyes up to look at her friend with a sort of embarrassed expression.
"Sex... Lots of really really bad sex…"
Tooru was quiet for a moment and then she squealed loudly, having to quickly cover her mouth. Suri thought it was a bad reaction until she heard her friend trying to stifle giggles behind her hand. Oh yeah, Tooru loved gossip. Whoops.
"They were at least hot right?" she snickered.
Suri fake scoffed and laid a dainty touch across her chest as she gave the girl the best offended look she could muster.
"Surely you don't take me for a woman of poor taste, right?"
The two of them laughed and giggled like the pair of schoolgirls they were.
"So they were what, tiny or something?"
"Oh no, not even. I had two guys that were basically porn star status and girl," Suri cringed and rolled her eyes. "I couldn't even ride one cause it was too long. He was so uncomfortable, had no rhythm and made me do all the work. He sucked! And the other I let him be on top and it hurt. Like really hurt!"
"Really?" Tooru was leaning onto the table now, happily listening.
"Don't get me wrong, the one I let be on top actually knew what he was doing. He was just way too big. I mean, I don't mind a little pain but Gods it fucking hurt. It was so damn uncomfortable and awkward. Sadly, other than him, most guys that are big, know it, and think it makes them the baddest motherfuckers around… are usually really bad at fucking. They think size alone does it and have no sense of rhythm or motion whatsoever," Suri shrugged. "The best sex I've had was always with guys who were about average or women."
"Ooo, I walked in on a scandalous conversation~"
Both Suri and Tooru froze for a split second and then turned to see Mina leaning over the table, her palms laying against the edge. She had a wide grin and couldn't help but giggle as she made her friends freeze up. The moment of shock passed before both girls let happiness overtake their startlement and lunged at the pink skinned girl.
"Mina!" they squealed in unison as they both leaned over from their seats and hugged into the acid user. After a quick hug, Mina slipped in beside Tooru and grinned as she looked into Suri's eyes with eager excitement. She had heard things, and she so wanted details.
For better or worse.
"I thought you said you were gonna be busy today?" Suri questioned.
"I was! With shopping of course," she cheered and pointed to her bag that she had just set down next to Suri and Tooru's own haul for the day so far.. She quickly stole Tooru's spoon, giggling at the invisible girl's protests before she took a scoop from Tooru's bowl, ate it, and then stole some of Suri's ice cream as well. She made a happy noise as she ate down the frozen treats before pointing a focused stare at Suri.
"Speaking of what I walked in on. I've been curious ever since what you said in class after that Shinso guy stopped by. And Tooru told me something during our training leading up to the Sports Festival."
"Uh oh," Suri gave Tooru a look. One that asked the question 'you didn't tell her, right?'
Mina shook her head and waved her hands defensively.
"No, no, nothing bad! I mean I made a joke about it in class but then you kinda confirmed my suspicions from what I heard from Tooru. So you're..."
Oh! Suri knew what Mina was talking about now.
"Pansexual, polyamorous, Pisces, and I'm a switch."
"Wow, girl, you laid everything out just like that," Mina laughed as she folded her arms on the table and laid her chin on top of them. She gave Suri a wide, delighted grin and eyes that shimmered with glee.
"My life is complicated enough without having to be hung up by my love and sex life. I like love, I enjoy sex, I love flirting and teasing, and I'm not ashamed about my promiscuity. I know that's a very… American way of thinking."
Mina shook her head softly.
"No, girl, I love that you own it and you're just you. Honestly, it's sexy."
Mina had that look in her eye again. It was a knowing look but it also held a hint of something else that Suri couldn't quite place. So Suri did the best thing that came to mind.
"You are too," Suri looked hard into Mina's black and amber eyes. "Aren't you?"
Mina smiled and giggled happily as she leaned into Tooru and laid her head on the other girl's shoulder. Tooru, for her part, tensed at first but then eased almost instantly and let the pinkette lay into her.
"Maybe pan? Bi for sure. But I mean, look at you two and look at some of our classmates. It'd be impossible not to be," she teased. "I love love and I love to flirt, no doubt about that. And according to those internet tests, I'm a switch too but I've never… ya know."
"Wait, I thought you and what's his name were-"
Mina laughed as she caught on to what Tooru was asking.
"Nope! We just made out a couple times but we never went further than that."
"And Kirishima," Suri asked with a smirk.
"We're just friends," Mina giggled. "I mean I've thought about it, sure."
"I-I have too," Tooru quietly confessed.
"Well that sorta makes three of us," Suri shrugged with a grin.
"And what about you, Tooru," Suri asked, turning her grin to the invisible girl, who, if her body language was any indication, was nervous, giddy, but also sort of comfortable?
"O-Oh um well I really like boys and I um… I mean, I said yes to Suri when she asked me out so there's no denying I like girls too. I think I lean to that one where connections matter more? Ya know, since I can't really fault people for looks when I'm… ya know A-And um," Tooru continued, obviously nervously rambling. "And that other stuff, I can't really say either cause… ya know. And then I guess I could, possibly be other things but I just don't know yet."
Suri and Mina watched Tooru ramble until she finally found a sort of awkward place to stop. Not that that was any fault of her own, she was nervous, clearly flustered, and possibly felt pressured by the two much bolder girls with her. After a moment of silence, Mina cleared her throat and then let her eyes carefully shift back and forth between her two friends.
"So," Mina let the word linger for a moment and she scratched nervously at her chin. "How do you, ya know…"
There was a second of silence as Suri watched Mina struggle. Mina who was usually so open and outgoing was now struggling, on the verge of shutting down. Something was on her mind and Suri might have had a guess as to what it was. Then Mina growled in frustration and shook her head quickly as if to shake the cobwebs out of her mind.
"Okay so, I like these two people. Like a lot. And I've known them for a while and they're both fun to talk to and hang out with. They're, like, super cute too. And I had been nervous to… ask either of them out. I was working up to it and then they went out with the other person and I thought I lost my chance but…"
Mina was looking away shyly. Suri stared at her and noticed Tooru was as well. Then her mass turned back towards Suri. She couldn't read the expression but she could feel a sense as to what Tooru was thinking. Before Suri could say anything, Tooru broke the silence.
"I-I didn't know you liked me like that. I didn't think I hid how attractive I've always thought you are. We've been bestfriends for a long time, you know you coulda told me. We tell each other everything, Mina," Tooru said softly and Suri watched as the invisible girl hugged the pinkette.
"You saw us on your date and it made you think you missed your shot, huh?" Suri smiled and leaned forward to lay a hand on her arm.
Mina sheepishly nodded, keeping her eyes nervously averted from the pair. Suri turned to Tooru, motioned to Mina with her eyes and then gave Tooru a soft questioning glance. Tooru in response nodded and let her arms squeeze Mina a little.
That was all the answer Suri needed.
"Well," Suri spoke softly, poking the pinkette's arm to get her attention back. Her black and amber eyes looked into Suri's chartreuse orbs and all but held her breath. "What if I told you that you haven't missed your shot?"
Mina's eyes began to widen.
"I mean, me and Suri didn't get too far on our date so-"
"Sorry! I'm sorry I interrupted," Mina exclaimed. She turned to leave in a hurry but both Suri and Tooru held her in place.
"We could," Tooru reassured her friend, making sure she was listening. She let her thoughts collect and took a deep breath as she asked something she never in her life had thought of. "We could go on a date. All three of us."
Mina froze and looked at her friends with wide, shocked eyes.
"R-really?"
"Dates with friends are better anyway. I prefer going out with people I know I get along with," Suri laid back into her seat and smiled. "Dating, really, is just like being best friends but with a few extra benefits."
Mina smiled and relaxed into her seat next to Tooru. She looked down shyly and rolled her eyes up to meet Suri's with a nervous smile.
"You mean like you and Tooru after your match with Sero?"
Tooru let out an eep and then stifled the embarrassed squeal. Suri started laughing hard after a split second of shock. It lasted for a good minute or so before she sighed deeply and laid her head back against the top of her seat.
"Someone enjoyed the show, didn't she?" Suri smirked wide, showing off a fang.
"Maybe~" Mina cooed with a wicked grin and gently nudged Tooru with her elbow. "I came down to congratulate you and found someone had already kinda beaten me to the punch. But yeah, you two were hot!"
And just like that Tooru knew she was in trouble. Not that she truly minded. She went from being on a date with Suri to being on a date with both Suri and Mina. Two people she loved being around, adored to no end, and found herself time and time again being entranced by their beauty. Around most girls, she envied them, wished that she wasn't invisible so that she could get the attention they did. With Suri and Mina, she didn't have to wish to be noticed or plead for attention, they always had been the two people that made her forget she was invisible.
Their time at the cafe wound down as Suri and Tooru shared the last of their ice cream with their new partner. Mina had enjoyed bringing up the fact that by sharing that the three of them had been indirectly kissing from the time she joined them. She loved the irony of such an anime-esque trope. Once all of the frozen deliciousness was gone, the three of them ventured from the cafe back into the mall to continue their shopping spree. This time it was a two on one assault of dragging Suri to the stores that seemed to have more pink than humanly possible.
And that was saying something when they had Mina with them.
That said, Suri couldn't help but smirk when both of them managed to find something with leopard print in it. Mina walked away with a midnight purple colored t-shirt that had the word 'fierce' across the chest in a slanted grunge font filled in with leopard print and it reminded Suri a little of her own hero costume.
Was that on purpose?
Tooru for her part walked out of that particular store with a leopard print skirt that had a large pink hem and a similarly thick black vinyl belt. The skirt wasn't much longer than the jean shorts she was wearing already, cutting off above mid thigh. Suri only knew it was above mid thigh because the girl in question had on a pair of pink thigh high stockings. They left maybe an inch of bare skin before the shorts and helped to frame Tooru's long legs. They were slender, Suri had already known that, but they were more wonderfully defined than she had thought. More than that, the thigh highs showed off that Tooru had thicker thighs than her slender frame would lead you to believe. That being said, they weren't quite as thick as their date's who had plentiful amounts of toned, rose colored skin on display.
Truthfully, Mina and Suri were very similar builds with powerful thighs and hips, though Mina had more of an emphasized hourglass figure in comparison. That figure was being slightly hidden by the short cutoff overalls she was wearing, though the black t-shirt with 'acid' written in pink cursive letters across the chest hugged her torso. The difference between the two of them was that Suri stood about an inch taller and was bustier by a cup or two.
Honestly, there were very good reasons Tooru could stare at the two of them for hours.
The next stop on the date brought the trio to a music shop that the three happily bounced into. Suri got her turn to look at clothing that jumped out at her this time around as she found shirts from bands she and her brothers, Dante and Hunter, listened to. She grabbed her two brothers Japanese exclusive releases with the intention of mailing them to them for their birthdays. That would be a nice surprise and a sorry I ditched you guys apology, right? Aside from the shirts, the three girls spent over a half hour going through different releases by their favorite artists and genres. It was a happy surprise that the three of them all enjoyed most rock and hip hop, were a bit pickier when it came to boy bands, and oddly enough bonded over a new band that had a group of pop singers, one of which rapped, backed by an electronic metal band. They agreed it was odd but catchy. And, according to Mina, was easy to dance along to.
As they laughed and joked with each other coming out of the music shop, Suri watched as something caught Mina's eye. The acid girl gasped in excitement and began bouncing on her heels as she turned back to her dates with an ear to ear grin.
"We can't leave the mall til we go to one last store!"
Suri and Tooru looked at each other, Suri raising her eyebrow to the invisible girl. Said invisible girl must have caught what store Mina had gotten so excited over because she let out a happy gasp and excitedly shook Suri's arm.
"Yes! We need to go!"
Suri looked between the two of them and lifted her eyebrow more.
"Where?" she asked hesitantly.
Her hesitation was met with Mina grabbing Suri's left hand and Tooru grabbing her right and without warning began tugging at the taller girl behind them. Suri stumbled on the first step or two from being so caught off guard but then found her footing and began trailing her dates. The trio stopped in front of a large store with a long line of window displays and all Suri could do was silently mouth 'oh' as she looked up to the store's name. She wasn't opposed because, well, she would have had to come to Jezebelle's or some place similar soon to get some new stuff. Also, the implications of what she was about to see, was leaving her on the edge of drooling. However, she felt a pang of nervousness that she wouldn't be able to compare. Honestly, it was a silly thing to even think but it was there nonetheless.
Jezebelle's, the store in question, was a world-wide chain owned and operated by the heroine of the same name. She had created a media firestorm during her debut because, like Midnight who debuted less than a year before her, of how much her hero costume covered. Or lack thereof. After a few years as a pro she had jumped into fashion and now ran the biggest lingerie and women's intimate apparel brand in the world. She was a godsend to women's clothing because; things actually fit, were comfortable, had cute designs even if you were on the thicker and bustier side, and wouldn't murder your wallet.
As they entered the store with its mostly cream colored walls with black, red, and magenta accents, Suri began looking over all of the merchandise, seeing if there was anything that jumped out at her. Something that screamed buy me or try me on! Several of which had apparently already screamed at her dates as they rushed towards various racks and merchandise tables. She couldn't help but smile and giggle a little watching her two best friends scramble across the store, grabbing several items and then clutching them against themselves to hold for the changing rooms. She was taken aback a little when she watched both Tooru and Mina grab a lingerie set and a bikini, respectively, then rushed to Suri and held the items against her. They made quick inspections of each other's items and then pushed them into Suri's hands, Mina flashing her date a wide grin.
"You know," Suri raised an eyebrow and smirked as she looked over the items. "I didn't know you two had been plotting a fashion show."
Suri inspected the lingerie that Tooru had picked out and couldn't say she was opposed to the pale lilac lace set. Moreover she was a little more surprised that the invisible girl had all but correctly guessed her size. She couldn't help but smirk and look the smaller girl in the eye.
"Someone raided my dresser, didn't she?"
"N-no!" Tooru squealed and flailed her arms, accidentally dropping everything that had been in her arms. "I swear!"
"Uh huh, sure~" Mina teased with a sing-song voice.
As Mina teased their date, Suri held up what the pinkette had brought her and looked over the lime colored bikini. It wasn't lost to her that Mina had chosen the color because one, it would absolutely pop against the dark bronze color of her skin, if not making her darker. And secondly, it would definitely make her eyes stand out in sharp detail. She gave the two girls, her beautiful dates, a warm, caring smile. The smile widened as she tried to hide a small laugh as she noticed that the two girls had grabbed identical bikinis, Tooru's being a shade of baby blue, and Mina's being a bright gold that would accent her own eyes.
"You two gonna try all of that on?" Suri asked as she eyed the back of the store where the changing rooms were located.
"Yup!" they answered in unison before the three of them turned and headed for the back.
What didn't surprise Suri at all was the fact that the two of them had picked out a dozen things each. It also didn't surprise her that they insisted she sit in one of the waiting chairs in front of the changing rooms. She got a front row seat to an impromptu fashion show in which Mina and Tooru came out in unison in the various sets each of them had picked out. Suri smiled and laughed the entire time, happy, truly happy, and having a wonderful time. Sure, she got to watch these two girls that she was undeniably attracted to pose and strut around, but more than that they were having fun. She happily drank in the sight of Mina's smile and the playful bounce that Tooru had in her body language.
Even when she had a girlfriend or girlfriends before, they never did something like this, never had fun like this. She had spent a year waking up cuddled between Lin, Rob, and JJ, had wonderful sex, and had fun at the Lupanars. Or so she thought. She'd left and hadn't heard a word out of those three. Did they worry? Had they really cared at all? They never went out and did something like this. It was never as fun as this was now. Had her past relationships really been so empty and one sided?
A hint of sadness rose up at the thought but was instantly crushed as Mina came out in her next lacy set that was white in color and nearly completely sheer save for some conveniently thicker patches of material. Mina knew how the set looked on her, for good reason, and over exaggerated all of her limber movements. It made Suri laugh as Mina stumbled when she tried to pretend like she was going to give Suri a dance. They were giggling hysterically and then the two of them stopped and took a sharp breath as Tooru came out in a full pale blue and pink babydoll set. A set that came with stockings, a choker, and a bow that was secured into her see through hair.
"Wow," Mina and Suri said quietly together as Mina moved closer towards Suri.
"I-It's bad isn't it?" the invisible girl asked sheepishly.
"No," Suri half chuckled with an open smile.
"Not at all," Mina added with an almost identical expression.
"S-so, you two um…"
"Girl, I've always thought you had an eye for the cutest stuff," Mina grinned.
"It's perfect on you, baby girl." Suri blurted out, hardly noticing what she said or the heat in her face as she watched the invisible girl.
Tooru figited nervously before audibly taking a deep breath and bouncing herself a single time and struck a pose for the two girls. The ta-da that she did to accompany the movement broke her dates who couldn't help but laugh and smile happily at their invisible friend. Tooru soon joined in a second or two later and the three joyfully laughed and giggled at themselves for a long, light moment. As Suri let herself calm she held up the items that her dates had picked out and then looked towards the changing rooms. With a smirk, she quietly got up, headed for the open one next to Mina's stall, and quickly closed the curtain. She grinned as she hurriedly stripped herself of her black combat boots, faded jeans that hugged her hips and legs, and a maroon tee shirt that had the collar cut out so it hung off her shoulders. The black underwear set that she had picked out for her date were the next to go before they were replaced by lilac colored lace that had a similar design to the one Mina was wearing now. After a few adjustments to make sure she was sitting comfortably, she turned back towards the curtain and opened it. She left the stall with a seductive bounce and sway as she presented herself in front of her dates and grinned wider as they both froze, mouths both agape.
"That look alone," Suri giggled a little from the reaction. "Thank you both for this."
"Not a problem, girlfriend," Mina chirped back, giving Suri a wink. It wasn't lost on the beast girl that Mina and Tooru were holding hands and the pink girl gave their date's hand a squeeze.
Could this actually work between the three of them? This wasn't too good to be true. Right?
"Seriously, Tooru, this is perfect," Suri added and looked a little closer at Mina's set. It was the same design and everything other than the color. "You picked both of them, didn't you?"
"Yup she did! Even guessed my size right too."
Mina and Suri grinned at each other and then turned devious smiles towards Tooru.
"S-sorry! I umm… I've watched you both a lot," Tooru whined and admitted shyly. "You two are both amazing, and just… I mean look at you both. How could I not? Especially when I'm…"
Tooru's words faded. Before the invisible girl could betray herself more and make herself feel like a living ghost again she let out a surprised eep before she felt a blanket of warmth surround her. She froze at first but soon enough relaxed and leaned herself into that warmth that was Suri and Mina. The two had moved nearly instantly and surrounded the girl with Suri's right hand cradling Tooru's shoulder while Mina's left hand cupped into the small of Tooru's back. The two taller girls for their part held each other and cradled Tooru into the front of both of them.
The hug lasted a long moment or two as Tooru pushed any negative thoughts away before the hug broke and the three stood looking towards each other. Truly, the three of them were happy together. Suri leaned back and looked at her dates again.
"So, I'm totally saying yes to this get up, by the way," Suri proclaimed. She then turned to her booth and thought of the other piece she was about to try on. "You planning on taking us to a waterpark or the beach for our second date, Mina?"
It was Mina's turn to let out a sound of shock and surprise and to go rigid within the touch of her two dates. She let out a nervous laugh and brought her right hand off of Suri's back to nervously itch at her chin and avert her eyes.
"I-I hadn't thought of a waterpark but I've heard of this place called Dagobah Beach. It was a garbage heap and then not too long ago it got cleaned up and now it's a really nice spot."
"Yeah," Suri laughed. "I make almost all of my morning runs down there. Hell, I know who cleaned the place. Watched them clean the last little bit of it actually."
Mina looked at her again with awe.
"Really?!"
"Yep," Suri grinned and slipped from the arms of the two girls and returned to her changing room, sliding the curtain closed and beginning to strip off the lingerie set. She heard two more curtains soon move as Mina and Tooru followed suit and began changing.
"So who is it?" Tooru called out from her booth across from Suri's.
"Would you believe we know him?"
"Now I gotta know," Mina chirped excitedly.
"Y-you're not… ya know, with him right?"
Tooru sounded a little defensive there.
"Hah, no but…"
"You've thought about it," Mina finished with a laugh.
Tooru, once again, let out a cute noise that showed that she probably had a very territorial streak in her. Funny this didn't pop up in the cafe. Interesting.
"And you two haven't?" Suri smirked as she started slipping on the bikini. "Tell me there's not some gorgeous guys in our class and you haven't had a thought or two."
There was a few seconds of silence before both Tooru and Mina grumbled and said yes together in unison. It served to only make Suri laugh again.
"So," Suri smirked as she adjusted her top and got herself situated. "Who were you hoping would see us in these, Mina? And, Tooru, who would you want to see us?"
"Hmm, Kirishima and Midori would be fun to tease in this," Mina replied first. "Their reactions would be the funniest, I think. I think they'd enjoy the show and not be asses about it like Mineta and Kaminari. I would say Todoroki and Bakugou but…"
"Those two wouldn't even spare me a glance," Tooru sighed sadly.
"I dunno. I think with Todoroki it's his lack of social skills. He doesn't talk to anyone unless he has to so I don't know that he's really considered a mate at all," Suri shrugged as she stepped out of her changing room.
"That's for sure," Mina added as she stepped out of her changing room. The two of them exchanged a glance, the pinkette biting her lower lip as she looked over the other girl. Suri, meanwhile, let her eyes linger with a smirk and a lick of her lips. "Bakugou… he's noticed you, Tooru. He's like Todoroki and Midoriya in that way," Mina shrugged and continued her explanation. "Like, he totally sucks ass with names, but he knows our Quirks and what they can do. Found that out yesterday during the festival before the cavalry battle."
"I guess you're right. So if I were going for teasing, then I'd say Ojiro and... K-Koda," Tooru finally opened her curtain and was stunned from the sight in front of her. "W-wow…"
Suri and Mina turned to their invisible friend, each with a smile, and gave her a full display and the full effect of what Mina had picked out for the three of them. Tooru felt self conscious once again and it didn't go unnoticed by her dates who simply smiled and let her watch as their eyes traced over every inch of her. Tooru let their gazes sink in and she began to feel better and more confident, especially when she remembered that Suri could at least see the shape of her. They made her feel better almost instantly.
"T-those two were blushing the entire cavalry battle just knowing I was topless the whole time," Tooru added, gaining confidence and normalcy with each word. "Kirishima and Midoriya though," Tooru began trailing off again which made Suri and Mina look at each other.
Suri watched Tooru fidget again. It was what she did when she was nervous or probably what she was doing now; trying to hide something she'd think was embarrassing. It made the beast girl grin wide. She had had the same dreams as Suri hadn't she?
"Ahh, so those are the two you've fantasized about. Were those the dreams you were talking about the other day before class?"
"Maybe," she replied quietly.
"So we're all having the same steamy dreams, huh?" Mina shrugged and then placed her hands on her hips.
Suri sighed and folded her arms under her breasts and creased her lips in thought. The action drew the view of her dates, not that she noticed, nor minded anyway.
"I wonder if she has anything to do with it?" Suri muttered.
"She?" Mina questioned.
Suri looked up and laid her eyes on Mina and then flashed a questioning look at Tooru.
"I think it's a side effect of my Quirk."
"You mean your beast side thingy? I remember it being like Dark Shadow but why would that have anything to do with us?" Mina was puzzled, not that Suri could blame her.
Suri knew she might have to explain the truth about herself to more people sooner or later but never knew how that might come up. Trying on bikinis while on a date with two girls at the same time was certainly a peculiar time for it. Here's to hoping Mina would be as accepting of the truth as Tooru and Midoriya had been.
"I have an idea but first, why don't we get our clothes back on and go buy what we picked out?"
Mina and Tooru happily agreed and the three of them turned to go back to their respective changing rooms. The curtains closed and they each stripped off their bikinis before putting the clothes they came in with back on. As Suri was finishing up and stepping out of the booth she heard Mina giggling and she couldn't help but smirk and look towards the wall they shared.
"You never did tell us, who you wanted to see you in that little number of yours. Or who it was that cleaned the beach."
"Oh yeah," Suri laughed. "It was the hero nerd himself."
"Midoriya?" both Mina and Tooru exclaimed. "How do you know?"
"Like I said, cause I saw him at the beach."
"When?" Mina rushed out of her booth, clutching the bikini and the set Tooru had picked out.
"Morning of the entrance exams. All shirtless and manly, screaming at the sunrise," she laughed to herself as she watched Tooru come out to join them, holding her babydoll set and bikini.
"Sheesh, girl, no wonder you like him," Mina joked as the three of them walked to the counter.
Suri merely smirked and remained silent as it came to her turn to checkout. She placed her things on the register, turned around and quickly snatched the items from Tooru and Mina's grasp and paid for everything. The two girls tried to protest but Suri just gave them a look that was soft and lovely to look at but also held a hint of some kind of dominance. Something that said to suck it up cause they were on a date with her and it was her treat.
It was a very male sort of thing to do.
No, it was a very Atiena thing to do.
"Speaking of which, I need to text him," Tooru added once the shock of Suri paying for everything wore off.
"Oh? Getting a date set up with Midori already?" Mina snickered, gently elbowing Tooru in the side, making the invisible girl blush and squeal from the implications and teasing.
"No! N-Not yet- I m-mean! Ugh! No," Tooru stammered before letting out a frustrated groan and took a deep breath. "I wanted to talk to him about my Quirk actually. I know he's really smart and takes notes on basically every ability he sees so I wanted to run something by him that I've been thinking about."
"Well in that case," Suri grinned, nonchalantly swiping Tooru's phone from her where it had been placed snugly into the corner of her bra, making the girl audibly blush again. Was it just an excuse to grope her date? Maybe a little. But more fun than that was watching Tooru begin to panic and freak out because Suri started typing. She hit send and handed the phone back to the invisible girl with the biggest, toothy grin Suri could possibly wear.
"Oh no, what did you- Suri!"
Tooru: Heeeeeey cutie! So I have a question and you're totally the guy I need to ask. It's about my Quirk and I wanted to see if I could pick your sexy brain about something.
Mina peeked over to see the screen and began laughing. Even more so as the three of them started to watch the clear panic in the boy over text. How many times could that 'typing…' message appear and reappear?
Izuku: Sure Hagakure! Ask away!
"He totally had something big written out a couple times and deleted it all, huh?" Mina asked curiously as the three of them watched the message that finally appeared come through.
"Oh totally," Suri snickered with a grin. "He's almost as fun to tease as Tooru."
"Now you're just being mean," Tooru whined with a grumble but began typing on her phone nonetheless. She had her question asked by the time they started heading for the mall's exit.
With their bags in hand the three of them started from the mall towards their homes. It had been decided that, since Mina was the closest to the mall, they'd walk her home first. Afterwards Suri would walk Tooru home before she'd go home herself. As they walked, Mina and Tooru flanked Suri like they had earlier, with Tooru holding Suri's left hand while Mina held Suri's right. It felt nice. It felt natural to have their hands in hers. And then Suri tested whether it was too good to be true or not at that moment as they passed from streetlight to streetlight.
"So about the dreams we've been having," Suri took a deep breath. "I think it's because of Atiena and I."
"Atiena? Who's that?" Mina asked curiously.
"That would be me," Atiena spoke through Suri, dropping the girl's voice an octave and letting a raspy purr fill her voice. "I would say it is a pleasure to meet you but we have been acquainted for a while now."
Mina stopped walking, pausing under one of the streetlights and looking forward in shock. Sure she had heard the voice before but somehow it hit her differently this time. This time it froze her.
"Suri and I," Atiena spoke calmly as she turned around to face Mina completely. Tooru left her arm, letting all of the attention draw onto the beast girl as she went to stand next to their pinkette friend and hold her hand. "We are not human, by a traditional sense, and we do not possess a Quirk. We tell people that I am part of her Quirk to simply hide the truth of what we are. Tell me, Mina Ashido, you've read stories or seen movies about werewolves, right?"
"Y-yeah," she laughed nervously, "Who hasn't? You're joking right, you and Tooru are just teasing right?"
Mina's brain began screaming. She felt like she was inside a real life horror movie. Her mind was screaming that this was it. This was the part where the killer got unmasked, and it wasn't who you'd thought it was.
Suri took several steps backwards, letting the darkness outside of the glow of the streetlight wash over her. Once in the shadows, Atiena let her power rise and roll over Suri's body as Suri's human eyes filled with black around her irises. Her eyes glowed with green gold fire and she let Mina stare directly into them. It made Mina hold her breath and grip Tooru's hand tighter.
"You're… Thursday night you…"
"Suri doesn't know this but yes, the other night, when I was in my true form, I had the desire to see you," Atiena admitted with a wicked grin. "Great taste in movies by the way. Kind of ironic you were watching Rise of the Lycans, isn't it?"
"Wait! So, the lion people that live in the mountains?"
"Wereleopards. And yes, some of the stories are true."
"So do you eat people?" Mina quickly asked, still a hint of tremble in her voice.
Atiena laughed. A thick velvety laugh that you could almost feel like a faint brush of fur against your skin. The laugh then doubled and a hint of Suri returned to the girl standing in front of Mina and Tooru.
"No! Never," Suri shook her head as she stepped back into the light. "We go hunting when Atiena is in control but we've never hunted or eaten people. My kind has always tried to have a good relationship with humans. Same with the vamps."
"Vampires are real too?!"
"Shh, not so loud," Suri and Tooru flailed together trying to quiet Mina. "Yeah, they're real too."
"What about ghosts? Oh! Or aliens?! Please tell me the greys are totally real!"
The fear that had been in Mina before was gone. She was excitedly bouncing up and down with a wide anticipatory grin and bright, excited eyes. Then a thought hit Suri like a ton of bricks. One that made her realize the sudden change in her attitude.
"You're asking if monsters are real aren't you?"
Mina rapidly nodded her head.
"Yes, they're real. You've been going to school and you've been on a date with one," Suri shrugged and held her arms out in a ta-da motion.
Mina squealed excitedly.
Wait. She was excited? Why? How was she…
Oh.
No! No way.
"I… we just checked off one of your fantasy checkboxes… didn't we?"
Mina screamed excitedly and bounced forward, jumping into Suri's arms, forcing her to catch her excited friend. She knew Mina could be odd, but this was something new. Granted the three of them had had long talks about favorite movies, specifically horrors and thrillers. Fun fact; Suri and Mina both were fans of slashers, creature features, and found footage movies while Tooru drew the line at gothic thrillers, slow burn suspense, and ghost movies of all things. Mina was happily shaking Suri's arms, pulling her in for a quick hug and then running back to Tooru and sweeping the invisible girl off her feet.
"We have a monster girlfriend~ We have a monster girlfriend~"
Tooru was squealing from surprise and Suri couldn't help but break down and begin laughing hysterically. The turn of events couldn't be anything but funny at this point. Though, knowing Mina slept with Xenomorph and Godzilla plushies, Suri and Tooru should have probably seen this coming. Then something seemed to click inside Mina's roller coaster of a brain because she stopped, turned to Suri and then gave her a questioning look.
"That doesn't explain the dreams though."
Suri dropped her head, trying not to laugh again, took a breath, held it, and then raised back up with a smile.
"I think it's Atiena's power. When we claimed everyone in class as ours, I think we might have done something weird in a metaphysical sense. I can't be sure, because I've only told you two and one other person about what I really am. I know for sure that you two are physically and emotionally attracted to me so that could be the cause. Maybe? I haven't heard of anything like shared fantasies and dreams between a lycanthrope and humans before. I've heard of something similar between powerful vampires and their bound servants but that's about it."
"I guess that makes sense. I mean," Mina shrugged and a shade of crimson crossed her cheeks. "I can't say I haven't enjoyed them."
"That's an understatement," Tooru giggled.
Mina smiled and hugged the invisible girl tight before setting her back down. Without skipping a beat she took Tooru's hand and led her towards Suri, and took it into hers as well. Now Mina was the one in the middle as the three of them all laughed and finished the short walk to Mina's home. It was all but five minutes of happy quiet hand holding as the three walked down Mina's street until they reached their destination. All of the lights were out other than the front porch and a light in the entryway, leaving them in the cover of mostly moonlight.
The three of them stopped in the driveway of the modest single family dwelling before Mina let out a long sigh as she turned back towards her dates. She looked at them both with utter joy and happiness, taking a hand of theirs in hers again. She swayed nervously and looked at her feet before looking at them again.
"Thank you," she said with sincerity. "I know it was super rude of me to barge in on your date like that. You two didn't have to do that but I can't tell you how happy it made me that you didn't even second guess yourselves. Seriously guys, thank you."
Mina gave them a small bow and turned to go to the door, stopped, and then turned back to face the two girls. She cleared her throat and looked away with some shyness creeping up. Her cheeks were flushed to a dark pink as she looked at them again.
"I-I umm, before I go in I-"
"The tunnels," Tooru said with a teasing tone.
"Yes," Mina answered with nervous confidence. She then looked back and forth between Suri and Tooru with a question on the tip of her tongue.
"After you," Suri grinned with a purr in her voice as she took a step to the side and motioned towards the two girls. They looked at each other and then to Suri with uncertainty.
"Are you sure," Mina asked with anticipation.
"Do you want to pass up the chance to be only the second kiss she's ever gotten?"
Mina blinked up at Suri and then looked towards her best friend. A fierceness flashed in her eyes and her own voice dropped lower and thicker.
"Nope."
It was simple, to the point, and the only word Mina spoke as she took the step to meet Tooru. She carelessly dropped her shopping bags and wrapped her arms around the invisible girl and let their bodies crash against one another. The pinkette wasted no time in cupping the small of Tooru's back with a firm press, while she used her left hand to find and trace along the girl's shoulder, neck, and then cupped her chin. In a matter of seconds Mina's lips were wrapped around Tooru's, letting the soft flesh mold against each other. The two let out long sighs as the tension released between them and soon that first long kiss turned into another and another, each one growing in need and ferocity.
Suri bit her lip as she watched her best friends and then let a fang bearing smile cross her lips when the two finally separated. They both panted, their chests heaving as they looked into each other's eyes. Mina let out a soft gasp as Tooru pressed tighter against her and Suri found the lingering shape of the invisible girl's arm around Mina's lower back. Apparently the shortest of the three girls was getting handsy, not that Suri could blame her. It was Mina's turn to return the favor, gripping Tooru's backside in a tight squeeze as she crashed her lips back against Tooru's. Not long and Suri got to watch the interesting sight of Mina's tongue moving and being moved by a ghostly appendage. It was both intriguing and exciting to witness.
The two of them separated in another bout of breathlessness, Mina letting a lazy smile cross her lips after she rolled her bottom lip under her teeth once more. Tooru was letting out small happy noises as she caught her breath.
"Wow~" she finally cood happily.
"Wow is right," Mina sighed and then made a soft purring noise as she felt another pair of lips against the bare skin of her shoulder.
Her black and amber eyes found a pair of black and green gold staring back. Suri wrapped herself around the two girls, Tooru leaning in to lay her head against Mina's shoulder. The invisible girl sighed happily as Suri's hand found its way into her hair and played with the soft silk curtains. All the while Suri's left hand scooped the back of Mina's head into it, her fingers sinking into the soft pink curls and taking hold. The sudden grip of Mina's hair made the pinkette gasp and instantly her lips were captured once again. She let out a near silent whining moan into Suri's mouth as their lips worked and melded over each other in soft wet smacks.
In response to her soft noises, Suri let out soft, throaty growls of desire as the tip of her tongue swiped along the inside of Mina's bottom lip. Almost instantly Mina responded with her own and now instead of watching, Suri got to feel what Tooru had as Mina's tongue batted and pushed against Suri's. The two let the warm muscles wrestle and push against each other before Suri pulled away. Before Mina could protest, Suri crashed her mouth against hers in a long, bruising kiss that left the girl breathless, her eyes fluttering and struggling to refocus.
"Wow~" Mina whispered, lazily laying her head back.
It was Tooru's turn to giggle this time and lay a soft kiss along Mina's neck. She hugged both girls tight and let out a soft whine.
"Wow yourself, babe," Suri smiled and licked her lips that were tingling lightly from the kiss, savoring the citrusy flavor to Mina's lips. "You used your Quirk didn't you?"
"Maybe~"
Mina smirked coyly and earned a kiss from Suri on her forehead and then leaned down to kiss Tooru's cheek.
"That's cheating," Tooru said contently.
"Is it bad that I don't want to go home alone or this night to end?" Mina admitted.
"Nope," her dates responded in unison.
Then Suri had a thought and smiled at the two girls.
"Why don't you two go inside and get some sleep, we can catch the train to school together in the morning. It's not like you two haven't slept over at each other's houses on a school night."
"But what about you?" Tooru asked with a worried tone.
"I'm a big girl, you don't gotta worry about me," Suri laughed.
"But that's not fair to you, especially when I was the one who added myself in."
"And that's why our second date will be all three of us from the start," Suri assured both of them and then smirked wide. "Besides, I've gotten to wake up cuddled to this one in all her glory. I think it's your turn to take our little invisible girl home for some quality snuggle time."
Before either of them could argue, Suri pulled Tooru from Mina enough to crash her lips against Tooru's, giving her a long, heated kiss. It was heated and bruising enough that she stumbled backwards into Mina's arms when Suri pulled away with a grin. Suri loved that she could make Tooru react to her the way she did. She enjoyed watching her react that way with Mina. And of course, she loved the way Mina had reacted to her. The two of them were honest to the gods perfect and Suri felt lucky to get the chance to be friends with them, let alone steal kisses.
"You got to sleep with her already?" Mina asked in a bit of shock.
"Technically, Atiena took my hand and led me to bed," Tooru answered and then quickly backed away and began flailing her arms. "Not that we did anything like that! We just slept, I swear! But you know how I usually sleep and I guess so does Suri and I-"
"Tooru, honey, it's okay," Mina laughed and pulled the girl back into her arms before looking up at Suri. "You're sure?"
"You know the more you stall the more time you're missing snuggled into this hot little thing right here, right?" Suri smirked and booped her index finger against the tip of Tooru's nose. "Good night you two. I'll see my gorgeous girlfriends in the morning."
Mina and Tooru looked at each other, Mina grinning wide and Tooru beginning to bounce excitedly. They cheered and squealed, each giving Suri a tight hug and a quick peck on the lips before the two of them rushed into Mina's home hand in hand. Suri waved them off, waited until the door closed and then turned to leave with a wide grin. She had an extra bounce in her step as she happily made the walk home.
"Hmm, I just thought of something," Atiena spoke inside Suri's mind.
"Oh? What's that?"
"Apparently they were both on the menu," the beast answered with a devious tone.
It took Suri a second and then she remembered the reference.
"Atiena!"
