***I own nothing as all belongs to J.K. Rowling. Thank you for reading so far!****

The next morning Ginny had awoken early. She quietly threw on her robe and headed to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. She was quietly reading the paper when she heard noise coming from her daughter's room. Ginny set her cup down and walked to Haven's door. Upon opening the door, she saw Haven sitting up in bed with a smile on her face.

"Good morning mommy. I slept really good. I had a dream that I saw my dad. Will I ever get to meet my datd?" Haven innocently asked.

Ginny smiled and said, "Of course you will my dear. Now, let us get dressed for the day."

Haven jumped out of bed and ran to her closet. Ginny helped her pick out an emerald green shirt with jeans and trainers. Ginny helped Haven get changed and gave her breakfast. While Haven ate, Ginny went to her room to get changed. She threw on a pink v-neck shirt with jeans and trainers. She decided to let her hair stay down, but waited until Haven had finished eating to do her hair.

Haven sat in the chair while Ginny finished braiding her daughter's hair. Both heard a knock on the front door. Haven got up as soon as her hair was done and Ginny followed closely behind.

Opening the door, Ginny saw Draco standing there with Lillies in his hand.

"Hi Ginny and Haven. I hope you both had a great evening. May I come in?" Draco asked.

Ginny smiled and said, "Of course, please come in.

Haven pulled on Draco's arm and led him to the couch. Draco handed Ginny the Lillies which she proceeded to then put in a vase.

"Draco, the flowers are so beautiful. Thank you so much." Ginny stated as she took a seat next to Draco and Haven.

Draco smiled at Ginny and he felt a tug on his arm. As he looked down, he saw Haven smile.

"What are we going to do today?" Haven asked Draco sweetly.

Draco looked to Ginny who waited expectantly for Draco's reply.

"Well, if your mum is okay with it I was thinking we could go to the park and have lunch at a new cafe I found."

Haven smiled and began to jump around excitedly. "Yes! Let's go to the park now! Mum can we go now please?"

Ginny smiled and nodded. The three of them left the house and apparated to the park Draco was talking about.

Haven ran to the playground and proceeded to play. Draco and Ginny sat on the park bench not far at all from the playground. Their eyes were on Haven as she played.

After moments of silence, Draco turned his head towards Ginny and said, "When do we tell Haven about me being her father?"

Ginny looked into Draco's eyes and said, "I am ready whenever you are ready to tell her. Merlin, I'm honestly nervous with how she will respond."

Draco nodded in agreement and was surprised to see Haven running up to him.

"Come on Draco, go down the slide with me" Haven said as she tugged on his arm pulling him in the direction of the slide.

They all had a wonderful time and Ginny especially enjoyed seeing Draco with his daughter. She couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and joy wash over her at the same time. By seeing how Draco was wanting to be involved, Ginny knew in her heart that things would be wonderful. She hoped once they told Haven the truth that she would take it well.

At around noon time, they all apparated to the cafe that Draco had recommended they try. They got a table in the back and the kids menu for Haven was a distraction as it was one that could be colored on. After some moments of silence, Ginny decided to speak.

"Sweetie, can mommy talk to you for a minute?"

Haven looked up and smiled. "Of course mum."

Ginny glanced at Draco then back at her daughter. "Well, you know how cousin Rose and Hugo have a mum and dad?"

Haven nodded enthusiastically as she listened to her mom.

"Well, Draco is your dad."

Haven's eyes got wide and a huge smile spread across her face. She then looked at Draco.

"You're my dad? That's so great!"

Draco was honestly surprised but also relieved to know Haven was taking this so well. He smiled back at her and said," Yes I am your dad. I know I was not around until recently. Your mother and I had not spoken and I just learned about you recently. But I am so happy that I am your dad."

Haven smiled and put her hand on Draco's hand. "Me too. Now I can tell everyone about my dad."

The rest of the meal was spent with laughter and much joy.

Later on that evening, Draco had helped Ginny put Haven to bed. They both walked to the couch to sit and talk some more. Draco could sense something was bothering Ginny.

"Ginny, care to share what is on your mind?"

Ginny looked at Draco and thought how she should form her thoughts into the right question.

"Well, it's just that I'm nervous with how your parents will respond. Your father particularly does not like my family as to him we are 'blood traitors' and I want Haven to know them, but I do not want your father trying to influence her into hating Muggles and others."

Draco looked at Ginny. He grasped her hands in his and said, "I know my parents have been horrible to you and your family. I know I was horrible to you and your family as well as Hermione and Harry all those years. I cannot speak for my parents, but for me I know I have changed. I do not believe the same things I was taught growing up. I want our daughter to love all people and to be a compassionate witch to all. I promise I will not allow her to be taught these horrible things that I once believed. I want her to be like you. Someone who is full of light, love, joy, compassion, and so much more."

Ginny smiled and gave Draco a big hug. This took Draco by surprise, but nevertheless he reciprocated the hug in return. Ginny pulled away as she had some tears on her cheeks. Draco wiped them away with his fingers.

"I am sorry that I upset you" Draco exclaimed.

"No, you did not upset me. I am just grateful to hear you and how you have changed. I want her to meet your parents as well as I want you to properly meet my family" Ginny said.

Draco smiled and after some time talking more on the couch, he stood to leave. Ginny walked him to the door.

"Are you going to tell your parents about Haven?" Ginny asked.

Draco looked at her and said, "I will have to tell them, but I would like it if you both were there. I want them to meet her and to properly know you as well."

Ginny nodded and they planned on going to Malfoy Manor the next day to talk with his parents.

After Draco left, Ginny got ready for bed and as she laid down she thought of what tomorrow would bring.

She was hoping his parents would accept Haven as their grand daughter. A part of her was worried though as she knew Lucius Malfoy and his hatred of her family.

She closed her eyes and willed herself to sleep. She hoped by them knowing Haven that somehow their hard hearts could be softened.

Sleep overcame Ginny and she fell into a peaceful slumber.
