Chapter 5

Draco, Ginny, and Haven arrived in Diagon Alley. Immediately, Haven spotted the new toy store that had just opened up called Diagon Toys. Haven began to pull on her mum's arm to go into the store.

"Sweetie, it is not nice to pull on me. We can go in, but no pulling" Ginny gently told her daughter.

"Yes Mum. I am sorry" Haven said as they all walked into the store.

Haven began to explore the store looking at all of the toys. Ginny couldn't help but smile at seeing her daughter so excited. She watched as Draco followed Haven to each section and laughed as Haven did her best to get Draco to buy her every single toy she saw.

Upon leaving the store, Haven clutched her new dragon toy she had wanted and held Draco's hand. To Ginny's surprise, Draco offered his other arm to her and she gladly took it; They all began to walk around enjoying being with one another.

While walking the streets, Ginny's eyes drifted to a beautiful dress she saw in the window. The dress itself was red with a beautiful v-neck. Draco saw Ginny staring at this dress and at this he ushered them into the store.

"Welcome to Wonderful Witches' Boutique. My name is Hannah. How can I help you today?" Asked the store clerk.

"This beautiful woman would love to try that red dress on that is in the window" Draco stated matter of factly.

While the store clerk went to fetch the dress, Ginny looked to Draco, "Draco, that dress is way too expensive. I could not possibly afford that."

Draco warmly smiled at Ginny and said, " I want you to try it on. If you love it, I will buy it for you."

The clerk returned with the dress and Ginny went into the changing room to try it on. Ginny looked into the mirror and was amazed at what she saw. The dress clung perfectly to her body and showed off her curves elegantly. The neckline was not super revealing but just enough cleavage was showing.

Ginny walked out of the chasing room and Draco stood upon seeing her. He walked over to her and was so close she could feel his breath on her neck.

"You look absolutely beautiful. You are breathtaking" Draco said.

"Draco, thank you. I really love this dress" Ginny said while smiling.

Ginny went back to put her clothes on and Draco had paid for the dress. Ginny grabbed her purchase and they all walked out of the store hand in hand.

They all decided to have a spot of lunch since it was already noon. They decided on a small cafe called Second Chance Cafe. They were seated at a table and given menus. Haven was busily coloring on the kids menu while Draco and Ginny were deciding on what to order.

The waitress came over and Draco ordered a glass of white wine for himself and Ginny and a non-alcoholic butterbeer for Haven.

The little family enjoyed chatting while waiting for their lunch to arrive. Draco and Ginny decided on steak with mixed vegetables and a kids' chicken for Haven, which was cut up into appropriate bite size pieces.

The waitress brought their meals and everyone tucked in.

"Ginny, I just wanted to say you are an amazing woman and amazing mother. You have given me such a wonderful gift" Draco said.

Ginny blushed while looking at Draco, "Thank you. I am grateful to have her and you being her father."

The family was happily finishing their meal when they were promptly interrupted.

"There you are Draco. Your mother and I were looking for you."

Draco turned to see Lucius and Narcissa standing there staring at the young family.

"Mother. Father. I am surprised to see you here. Can we discuss this at another time?" Draco asked as Ginny look at both of his parents.

"Draco, we need to speak now with you. Please ask Ms. Weasley and her offspring to leave for a bit so we can talk with you" Lucius stated back.

Ginny glared at Lucius, but before she could respond a voice spoke first.

"You will not speak to Ginny and our daughter that way. I asked to speak with you later and we will have a conversation then I am here with Ginny and Haven enjoying our day. Please leave" Draco stated turning back to Ginny and Haven.

Draco's parents apparated away quickly.

"Draco, if you needed to speak with them we could have gone home and waited" Ginny said as they paid for their meal and started to get ready to leave.

"Ginny, they know I will speak to them later. However, would you be willing to come with me when I do? I know we will need to find someone to watch Haven as I do not want the conversation to upset her" Draco stated.

They had apparated back to Ginny's home and gone inside as Haven went to her room to go play for a bit.

"Sure, I can go with you. I would love to give Lucius a piece of my mind. I will flow call my mum at the Burrow and see if Haven can stay the night" Ginny said.

Ginny floo'd her mother and when she saw her mum's face appear she asked, "Mum, can Haven stay the night tonight?"

"Of course Ginny dear. When will you drop her off?" Molly asked.

"I was thinking now as I have some plans tonight" Ginny stated.

While this conversation was going on, Draco had helped pack an overnight bag for Haven. Haven and Draco emerged from Haven's room.

"Mummy I get to stay with Grandma tonight?" Haven asked with a smile on her face.

"Yes love. Thank you Draco for helping to pack her bag" Ginny stated.

Draco smiled and nodded at this.

Ginny took Haven and they disappeared in the flames.

Draco waited for Ginny and shortly after she had left the fireplace lit up signaling Ginny had returned,

"Mum was fine with watching Haven tonight" Ginny stated as her and Draco sat on the couch.

Draco looked at Ginny and said, "Are you sure you are okay doing this? I know my parents have not been the best towards you and I know especially my father is a pain in the arse" Draco stated.

"Draco, we are in this together. Haven is our daughter and they will need to get that through their thick skulls. They may dislike me, but I will be damned if they treat Haven poorly because of my family bloodline" Ginny said. Draco notice that there was a fire in her eyes as she said this.

"Thank you Ginny. I will make sure they do not speak ill about either of you. Haven is our daughter and they need to understand this clearly. I expect them to treat both of you with respect regardless of any bloodline" Draco said with determination.

"Then it is settled. I will go get changed into something more appropriate for this meeting" Ginny said as she headed to her room.

A few minutes later Ginny emerged with a black flowing dress with black heels. Draco could not help but notice how beautiful Ginny is. He thought that no matter what she wore or how she looked that to him she would always be beautiful.

"You look gorgeous. Are you ready to go to the manor?" Draco asked holding out his arm.

"Yes I am ready to have this conversation, but more importantly to confront Lucius on his behavior" Ginny stated.

They walked outside and as soon as they were far enough from the house they apparated to Malfoy Manor.
