Chapter 6
**I own nothing as all belongs to J.K. Rowling**
Draco and Ginny arrived at the gate of Malfoy Manor. The mansion itself was massive on the outside. There were many trees and flowers all throughout the yard. They walked up to the front door and Draco turned to Ginny.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Draco asked with concern lacing his voice.
Ginny smiled and said, "I'm a Gryffindor and a Weasley. I am definitely sure I can do this."
Draco nodded and he opened the door and let Ginny step inside first.
The foyer of the manor was beautiful. Many paintings were on the walls, but not in a gaudy way. A beautiful chandelier hung just by the staircase and Ginny was amazed by how vast the room itself was.
Suddenly a pop was heard and a house elf had appeared.
"Master Draco and Miss Weasley. Hop was sent to bring you to the sitting room" the house elf stated.
"Thank you Hop. I will take Ginny to the sitting room. You may go now" Draco said.
Hop disapparated away and Draco took Ginny by the arm gently and led her to the sitting room.
Upon entering the room, Ginny saw Lucius and Narcissa sitting on the loveseat couch and they were impeccably dressed. She thought to herself that she made the right move in wearing something more presentable.
"Ginny, welcome to our home. You know my wife Narcissa and myself. Please have a seat. Would you like some wine?" Lucius said.
"Yes, thank you" Ginny said as she sat next to Draco on the opposite couch. Draco had poured both of them a half glass of white wine each.
After a moment of silence, Narcissa spoke.
"Ginny, Draco has informed us that he has fathered a child with you. The little girl we saw earlier at the restaurant with you both. Is this correct?" Narcissa asked eyeing Ginny.
"Yes. Haven is our daughter and she absolutely loves her dad" Ginny stated as she looked to Draco and smiled.
Draco smiled back and it seemed as if the two were lost in each others' eyes. However, the moment was broken by Lucius' voice.
"How much will it take for you and your spawn to disappear?" Lucius said with much disdain in his voice.
Ginny's head snapped to look at Lucius and her temper within her was rising. Before Ginny could retaliate to Lucius' cruel words, Draco spoke sternly.
"Father, no amount of money will keep me from my daughter or Ginny. I want to be in my daughter's life and in Ginny's as well. You have no say in this relationship" Draco said as he had instinctively grabbed Ginny's hand gently.
"Draco, you know the Weasleys are blood traitors. This cannot go on any further. You are supposed to marry a more well renowned pureblood witch. Not a blood traitor pureblood witch who is only doing all of this for money" Lucius stated with a smug look on his face.
"Mr. Malfoy, do not presume anything about me. I do not want money at all from this. I have been taking care of Haven ever since I found out I was pregnant. There is nothing you have that I want. Draco knows I want him to know our daughter. They have developed an amazing bond and relationship. As for my family, do not insult them. They have done more good for this world than you ever could. Your anger has no real root. I ask you do not insult them again and do not ever insult them in front of my family, my daughter, or me" Ginny stated as her eyes bore holes into his head.
Lucius looked taken aback and his eyes held a hint of anger in them. Narcissa reached her hand and placed it on Lucius' knee.
"We are getting nowhere by arguing. What is done is done. The question remains of how to proceed in this situation" Narcissa stated looking at Draco and Ginny.
"Mother and Father. I think for tonight Ginny and I will leave. You both obviously need to think things over and we need to go talk by ourselves" Draco stated as him and Ginny stood up together.
Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy followed Draco and Ginny to the front door. No words were exchanged as the elder Malfoys looked on as Draco and Ginny walked to the manor gates and once past them then they apparated away.
Returning back to Ginny's home, Draco and Ginny went to the couch and sat in silence for a moment.
Draco was the first to speak as he said, "I am sorry you had to experience that. My father disgusts me in how he spoke of you, our daughter, and your family. I am sorry you even had to be in that situation."
Ginny looked to Draco and said, "I expected him to be like that. I know he may never change who he is. I just do not want it to affect how you feel towards Haven. She loves you and completely adores you."
Draco gently grabbed Ginny's hands and said, "Nothing will change how I feel about Haven. She's our daughter and more importantly I love her. To hell with what my father thinks. I will always love Haven and will do anything for her."
Ginny smiled and for a moment neither could look away from each others' eyes.
After a moment, Ginny said, "I am honestly exhausted and should get some sleep and feeling very overwhelmed. I need to get Haven from mum's tomorrow."
Draco nodded and as he stood up Ginny placed her hand on his shoulder.
"I am not sure how you would feel about this, but would you stay the night? I just want someone to hold me while I sleep" Ginny said with a blush appearing on her face.
Draco smiled and nodded his head. The two of them went into Ginny's room and transfigured their clothes into pajamas. They crawled into the bed together and Ginny had her back towards Draco. She felt Draco pull her closer to him and his arm was wrapped around her waist. They both fell into a deep sleep and in this moment all was right in the world.
