Chapter 13

Draco and Ginny got Haven checked in to St. Mungo's. They were in the room when Healer Bones came in.

"Draco and Ginny. It is good to see you. I have not seen either of you since Hogwarts" Susan said as she shook both Ginny and Draco's hands.

"Nice to see you Susan. Our daughter Haven hurt her leg while playing with her cousins at the park. Can you take a look at it?" Ginny asked while stroking Haven's hair.

Susan looked between Draco and Ginny, but nodded. She walked over to Haven and smiled while saying, "Hi Haven. My name is Healer Bones. I am here to look at your leg."

Haven nodded as she was clutching onto Ginny's arm.

After a few diagnostic spells, Susan turned to Draco and Ginny and said, "Well her leg is broken but we can give her skele-gro and she can go home with you guys."

Draco nodded and Ginny said, "Thanks Healer Bones."

Susan smiled and brought out the skele-gro. "Now Haven, this does not taste the best, but I promise it will help you feel better."

Haven looked to Ginny who gave her a reassuring smile. Haven opened her mouth as Healer Bones administered the skele-gro.

Haven made a face at how bad it tasted. Ginny lovingly stroked Haven's hair.

"That should fix her leg within 8 hours. She will need to go home and rest" Healer Bones said.

Draco and Ginny thanked Healer Bones and the family left St. Mungo's to head home.

Draco and Ginny both tucked Haven in at home after she ate dinner. Ginny stayed by Haven's side until Haven had fallen into a deep sleep.

Draco was sitting on the couch when Ginny came into the room. She walked over and curled up next to Draco on the couch.

Draco turned his head to kiss her gently on the lips.

"I am so glad that Haven is okay. I can imagine that must have been scary for her. I know I was scared" Draco admitted looking at Ginny.

Ginny smiled and said, "As her parents, we will always be concerned when something happens to her. I am so glad she is okay and is resting right now."

Draco smiled and said, "Tomorrow, we are going to the Burrow to see your family right?"

Ginny nestled closer to Draco and said, "Yes, mum was hoping we could come over to see the family. She wants to visit with us and of course see Haven."

Draco nodded and they both got up to head to bed for the night.

The following morning Draco woke up to realize the bed was empty. He got out of bed and showered quickly. Once he was dressed, Draco walked out to the kitchen and say Ginny and Haven eating breakfast.

"Sorry love. Haven woke up very hungry so I decided to cook breakfast while you were still sleeping. She is feeling better" Ginny said smiling at Draco.

"No need to apologize Gin. How is my girl doing this morning?" Draco asked as he was bent down by Haven.

"Fine daddy. I feel better. Can we go play again today?" Haven asked looking at Draco with pleading eyes.

"Well Haven, we were going to go to the Burrow today to visit mum's family today" Draco said as he took his seat near Ginny and began to eat breakfast as well.

"Okay daddy" Haven said as she tucked into her breakfast.

Haven finished her breakfast and went to her room to play for a bit before leaving with her parents.

While Ginny had used magic to have the kitchen clean itself, she and Draco had gone to their room to get ready to leave.

"I am so excited you will be going with us to the Burrow. I know Haven really likes spending time over there with my family. I just hope Harry is not there" Ginny said with a concerned look.

Draco went up to Ginny and lovingly stroked her cheek, "Love, even if Harry is there we know that we are in love with one another. He needs to learn to accept this. Either way we will go to be with your family and go to have a nice visit."

Ginny smiled as she was gathered into Draco's strong arms. They held onto each other for some time. Ginny leaned her face towards Draco and gave him a loving kiss. Just as the couple were getting into the kiss, Draco felt a tug on his shirt.

"Daddy, are we going to grandma's house now?" Haven asked with a smile on her face.

Draco and Ginny laughed. They both grabbed their traveling cloaks. Draco had gotten Haven's cloak on.

The family went outside and apparated away to the Burrow.

Upon arriving at the Burrow, Haven ran ahead of her parents to the door. After knocking on the door, Haven stood waiting for it to open. Just as Draco and Ginny appeared by Haven's side, Arthur had opened the door.

"Grandpa!" Haven shouted as she ran into Arthur's arms.

"Well, there's my Haven girl. How are you sweetie?" Arthur asked as he held Haven in his arms.

Draco and Ginny followed Arthur and Haven into the Burrow. Molly was busy cooking away in the kitchen. She turned and saw Draco and Ginny.

"Hello there Ginny and Draco. So glad to see you both here. Is Haven with Arthur?" Molly asked.

"Yes she is. She was so excited to see him. I think they went to the living room to play awhile" Draco said as he helped Ginny take off her cloak.

Molly smiled and ushered Draco and Ginny to the living room. Upon entering the living room, Draco saw Arthur and Haven playing with toys. Ron and Hermione were on the couch as their children Rose and Hugo joined Arthur and Haven. Bill and Fleur were there along with their children Victoire, Dominique, and Louis.

"Hi Gin and Draco. It is good to see you both" Bill said as he had gotten up to shake Draco's hand and to hug Ginny.

"It is so good to see you too Bill. I am glad Fleur and the kids are here too" Ginny said as her and Draco took a seat on an empty couch.

All of the adults were happily talking and the family was getting to know Draco more. They had known him in Hogwarts and how cruel he had been. But war changes people and to see how his mother Narcissa had lied to Voldemort to save Harry had left a different impression on them. They did see a change in Draco and it was evident to see how much Draco loved Ginny and Haven.

Everyone was having a wonderful time laughing and they all had migrated to the table to enjoy the feat Molly had prepared.

Just as everyone began to tuck into their meals, a knock was heard at the door.

Ron had gotten up and opened the door.

"Hey mate, is it okay if I come in?"

Ginny and Draco turned and saw Harry standing in the doorway.
