Chapter 14

"Harry dear. It is good to see you. Come on in. There's plenty of food" Molly said.

Harry walked in the door and sat down in an empty seat by Ron. Molly had generously plated Harry's plate and handed it to him.

"Thanks Mrs. Weasley. This looks absolutely delicious" Harry said as he began to tuck into his meal.

The family was silent as everyone was eating. fDraco could sense Ginny was nervous and he placed his hand on her knee and rubbed smoothing circles. He could feel that she was calming down.

Harry broke the silence as he said, "I am sorry to come by unannounced I just missed everyone and wanted to visit you all."

"No worries at all dear. We are glad you are here to visit us" Molly said as she smiled at Harry.

Ginny did her best to focus on Haven who was happily eating her food.

Everyone finished eating as the only conversation was about quidditch and what was new with Harry.

Mrs. Weasley set about having the kitchen and dining table clean with magic. The adults and kids went to the living room where everyone sat around with drinks while the kids played.

Ginny sat close to Draco as she was still unsure of why Harry was there.

"Draco, how are your parents doing?" Hermione asked trying to bring about conversation.

"Mother is doing well. She came to reconcile with us about how she has acted towards our family. Haven really likes my mother. It was great to see the two of them bond so well. I hope mother continues to do the right thing. As for my father, I have not spoken to him in awhile after the actions he did against our family" Draco said.

Ginny looked to Draco reassuringly and Draco kissed her forehead gently.

"Gin, how are you, Draco, and Haven doing? You all look very happy" Ron said as he took a drink of his fire whiskey.

"We are doing really well. Draco is just an amazing father and partner. I really do love him. Haven has been loving having both of us there everyday. She loves having Draco there to play with. We are all very happy" Ginny said as she looked to Draco lovingly.

Draco could feel a warm happy feeling explode within his chest. He really did love Ginny. She and Haven had made his life so much better. He knew the darkness that he had caused during Hogwarts and while that was part of his past, he knew his future would be much brighter with Ginny and Haven by his side.

The conversation then switched back to Auror work as Ron and Harry were both Aurors. Ginny had gotten up to go use the loo. When she opened the door to head back to Draco, she had bumped into Harry.

Ginny froze for a moment and said, "Excuse me Harry, I need to go back to Draco." She had tried to push past him, but felt a hand on her arm.

"Ginny, why can't we talk? You have been avoiding me all evening" Harry said as he tried to get Ginny to look at him.

Just then Draco had appeared in the hallway. He looked at how Harry had his hand on Ginny's arm.

"Ginny, are you okay?" Draco asked as he noticed Harry remove his hand from her arm.

Ginny immediately went to Draco's side and said, "I am now. Are you ready to go home?"

Draco nodded and they both headed downstairs to collect Haven. They noticed Haven was curled up on the couch as she was tired and had fallen asleep. Draco gathered Haven up gently into his arms.

They said goodbye to the Weasleys and once outside they walked to the apparation point.

They then disappeared to return home.

Ginny had gotten Haven dressed into her pajamas and tucked into bed. Ginny then went to her and Draco's room to get into comfier clothes. She put on grey sweatpants with a tank top. She emerged from their room to find Draco had started a small fire in the fireplace. She joined him on the couch. He had conjured up two wine glasses and a bottle of white wine. After pouring some for each of them, they both grabbed a glass and took a sip.

Draco was the first to speak as he said, "Gin, what happened with Harry at the Burrow? I am not mad at all at you, but I want to make sure he did not hurt you."

Ginny set her glass down and looked to Draco. "I promise nothing transpired between us. I was exiting the loo and he was blocking the doorway. I tried to go past him and that is when he put his hand on my arm. He wanted to know if we could talk as I was not speaking to him all night at the Burrow."

Draco nodded and looked towards the fire. He did not say anything for a moment, but then he spoke. "Gin, I am sorry for how I treated you and your family for so long. I am sorry for how I treated your friends. I know I was a horrible person and I do not deserve you at all. I would understand if you would rather be with Harry. He after all saved the Wizarding World from Voldemort. I was on Voldemort's side."

Ginny noticed that tears fell from Draco's eyes while he spoke. Ginny turned his face towards hers as she kissed his tears away. "Draco, who you were then is not who you are now. I do not want Harry. Yes, I had a crush on him when I was little. But being with you is what I want. I love you. You were forced to be on Voldemort's side. I know why you did what you did, but that is no longer who you are. You are an amazing father, man, and the one I love. I want to be with you always."

Draco looked at Ginny, "How can you be so forgiving and understanding?"

Ginny said, "Draco, during the war we all lost someone. We all were put into positions that no one should ever have to go through. We all had to make really tough choices. Voldemort only cared about himself. I am grateful Harry was able to end him, but that does not mean I want to ever be with Harry. I forgave you a long time ago Draco. You were there for me that night at the celebration party. You and I shared a moment I have never forgotten. Haven is our proof of that night. I always hoped I would run into you one day. I am glad we did end up running into each other again. I had family that wondered why I would not let Harry adopt Haven and for us to be a family. It never felt right to me. I did not want that. I wanted you for so long, but was not sure if you would want the same. Now, we are here together as a family. Haven and I are so grateful you are here with us."

Ginny felt a few tears slide down her cheek. Draco reached out his hand and helped to wipe away the tears. His hand lingered on her cheeks.

Ginny and Draco both felt the sexual tension radiating off of each other. Draco leaned in and captured Ginny's lips with his own. He put everything he felt into this kiss. He ran his tongue across the bottom of her lip. Ginny willingly opened her mouth to allow him access. Her hands went to his hair as their kiss had deepened.

Draco picked Ginny up and carried her into their bedroom. He was planning to make love to her multiple times. They closed their bedroom door and cast silencing spells. Their night was spent making much love and eventually both of them fell into a sated deep sleep. Ginny was wrapped in Draco's arms and both had smiles on their faces as they slept.
