Chapter 22

Draco had taken Haven for a daddy and daughter day. Ginny was waiting for her mum and Narcissa in Diagon Alley. They were going to look at wedding dresses today.
Ginny finished her coffee as Narcissa and Molly approached.
"Good morning Ginny. Are you ready to go look at dresses?" Molly asked as she embraced her daughter.
Narcissa also greeted Ginny with a hug and Ginny said, "Yes I am so excited to look for the perfect dress."
All three ladies apparated to a dress shop known as Emera's Bridal Boutique. They all walked in and were greeted by a beautiful woman with long black hair.
"Narcissa, so great to see you" Emera said as she hugged her friend Narcissa.
"Emera, thank you for seeing us today. This is Ginny my soon to be daughter in law and her mother Mollly. We need a perfect and stunning dress" Narcissa said as Emera greeted Ginny and Molly.
"Of course. Narcissa and Molly you two take a seat on the couch here. Ginny, come with me and we will try on some dresses" Emera said as she led Ginny to the dressing room.
Once inside the dressing room, Emera began to ask Ginny what she was wanting in a wedding dress.
"I always wanted a dress with lace. I want it to be in an A-line style. I'd love a sweetheart neckline as well" Ginny said.
Emera nodded and said, "Alright dear. You stay here and I will go grab a few dresses."
Ginny nodded and Emera went out the door.
After some time, Emera emerged through the door with three dresses in her hand.
She helped Ginny get into the first dress.
The first dress was an A-line gown with lace across the whole dress. There was a layer of tool on the bottom of the dress. The top of the dress was in a sweetheart neckline. The dress was very flattering on Ginny's body.
Ginny walked out to show her mum and Narcissa.
"Well Ginny, what do you think of this dress?" Emera asked as Ginny turned to look in the mirror.
"I like the lace and top of the dress a lot, but I was hoping for more on the bottom" Ginny said.
Narcissa and Molly both agreed with Ginny.
Ginny went back into the dressing room to try on the second dress.
However, when Ginny put on the second dress she immediately wanted the dress off. She felt the dress was too old fashioned for what she was looking for. The dress had long lace sleeves and did not have much lace on the bottom of the dress. Ginny shook her head no and Emera helped her get this dress off and to try on the last dress.
When Ginny put the last dress on, she knew this was the one. The top of the dress was a sweetheart neckline and the lace was over the whole dress. The bottom of the dress flared out more than the first one did and there was more tool added to the bottom. Emera put a veil on Ginny as well and Ginny walked out to Narcissa and Molly.
"Oh Ginny dear. You look so beautiful" Molly said as tears flowed down her cheeks.
"Ginny, you look absolutely beautiful; Is this the dress you have been looking for?" Narcissa asked with a smile.
Ginny turned and looked into the mirror. She could see herself walking down the aisle to Draco in this dress.
"Yes. This is how I have always pictured myself on my wedding day" Ginny said as a tear slid down her cheek.
Molly embraced her daughter and Narcissa paid for the dress as she had previously told Ginny this is what she wanted to do.
Once Ginny got back into her own clothes, they left the dress there so that Draco would not see the. Dress before Ginny walked down the aisle.
They all went back to Ginny's house to discuss more wedding plans.
It was in the evening after Narcissa and Molly had left that Draco returned home with Haven.
Haven was carrying her new bear that Draco had bought her as well as some other toys that were levitating behind them.
"Mummy, daddy took me to the toy store and we went out for ice cream" Haven excitedly exclaimed.
Haven had set her bear down on the couch and gave her mum a hug.
"Well, I am so glad that you went and had fun with daddy. Now, go wash up for dinner. It will be ready in a few minutes."
Haven ran off to the bathroom and Draco gave Ginny a kiss. He had sent the toys to Haven's room and helped Ginny plate up their dinner.
Ginny had made lamb with mixed vegetables and had prepared a fruit salad. She had poured milk for Haven and red wine for her and Draco.
The family sat down for dinner and Haven told her mum about her day.
Draco tried to get Ginny to tell him what the dress was going to look like, but Ginny told him that he was not to know until she walked down the aisle.
After some time, Draco surrendered and once they all finished eating Draco then sent the dishes to clean themselves.
Ginny had started to run a bath for Haven. Suddenly, a knock was heard at the door and Ginny heard Draco say, "Harry, what are you doing here?"
"I was hoping I could talk to Ginny for a moment if that's okay with you and her" Harry said. Ginny had popped her head around the corner and Draco walked up to Ginny.
"Go talk with him love. I'll finish Haven's bath" Draco said as he kissed Ginny on the lips.
Ginny nodded and went to stand on the porch with Harry to talk.
