Suri has her license. Now what? Bakugou and Izuku fight and Tooru and Mina discover Izuku's secret. Mina develops a new game.
"I'm so proud of you, Suri."
Those five words made Suri squeal with glee as she bounced along with Mina and Tooru. Of course, they'd all taken photos of their licenses and sent them to their parents immediately after getting them. Now, here they were back at the dorms, relaxing in their pajamas and having a little impromptu party to celebrate everyone getting their licenses. Well almost everyone at least. Before getting a call from her dad, and Izuku getting a call from his mom, the four of them had taken a group selfie all holding up their licenses together. That pic would be going on Suri's photo wall once she printed it off. Not ten seconds after the photo had been snapped, the calls from Alpha and Momma Midoriya came in. Mina and Tooru, admittedly, were trying to listen in on both calls.
One, because hearing Suri finally reconnect with her family was wonderful to hear and two, listening to Izuku being such a momma's boy was pretty adorable. It gave truth to that old saying of; get you a guy that treats his momma right and he'll treat you even better. Tooru had one hundred percent attested to this from the first night in the dorms; namely her and Izuku's first time. Listening to her had been like listening to an uber romantic, yet quite steamy, audiobook.
"Suri?"
Oh shit, phonecall, right.
"Sorry, dad, my mind is kind all over the place right now," Suri chuckled and Atiena grinned as she resisted the urge to embarrass the girl. "But thank you. That's… That means a lot."
"So you gonna tell me all the details? You sound a little preoccupied over there?" Alpha chuckled as he commented over the sudden outburst of noise. Apparently Tsu had smacked Mineta with her tongue for something he'd said to Todoroki. The eruption had been a mixture of him yelping and everyone else laughing.
"Yeah," Suri chuckled, watching the whole show. "I might have to text you all of that later."
"All right, well you go have fun with your friends and I'll talk at you later," Alpha mused warmly.
"You too," Suri beamed. "Love you, dad."
"Love you too, Pupkit."
Suri hung up the phone, shoved it into her bra and rejoined the party then, instantly heading for the chips and snacks. She piled sweets into her arms before rejoining Mina and Tooru on the couch. The three of them picked at everything Suri had grabbed while they chatted and conversed with the rest of the class. She playfully smacked at Izuku's hand as he reached over the back of the couch to grab a couple snacks and rolled her head back with a grin to meet his pouty face. The look on his face was a soft look of shock and betrayal.
"Ah! Nope! Gotta pay me first, Green Bean," Suri grinned mischievously and pointed towards her lips with her free hand.
Izuku's eyes flicked upwards to everyone in the room. The looks he was met with were all indifferent, or slightly amused. Truth be told, if they hadn't gotten used to the blatant PDA Suri, Tooru, and Mina showed off before they'd all moved in together; they sure as hell were now. With the looks that said they didn't care one way or the other or the quick looks away, Izuku shrugged and leaned down. His lips met with Suri's softly and they breathed each other in as they held each other for a long breathless moment. What Suri didn't realize is that while he had her held, pressing the back of her head into the couch cushions, he took an oversized handful of the bowl in her lap.
When he pulled away, Suri saw just how much candy he'd stolen from the bowl. It made her squeak in surprise and then she looked sadly into the bowl. He'd stolen nearly half of what had been left. It made everyone laugh and made Suri growl something about Izuku being lucky she thought he was sexy. She turned back to berate him when she saw the happy look on his face drop in an instant.
Then she saw Bakugou walking away.
When the party was winding down she tried asking him about what he and Bakugou had talked about. He said nothing. When she asked him on the way to her room what had been bugging him, he made up a lame excuse. He dodged her, Tooru, and Mina several times more. He felt distant and closed off as the four of them piled into Suri's bed and turned on a movie on her laptop. He barely paid attention to the movie, which was fine because all four of them were barely watching it. It didn't take much to notice his demeanor was off. The girls had hoped a nice little group makeout session might help him out but all three girls pulled back from his lips knowing he wasn't all there.
No matter how much they tried, they couldn't shake Izuku out of what was bugging him. Suri knew it had to do with something that had been said. Mina felt uneasy when they all snuggled in to go to sleep and his breathing never changed. Suri watched Mina's eyes remain open as Izuku pretended to fall asleep and saw the fear and worry in them. All three knew something was wrong. Then midnight came and Izuku rolled out of bed and quietly left the room.
No words. No goodbyes. Just silence.
In a few seconds, all three girls were sitting up in bed, staring at the door. A mix of fear, anger, anticipation, and sorrow filled them and the room. Suri growled and crawled out of bed before finding and quickly tugging on her shorts. Before she even got to the door, Mina and Tooru were both quickly dressing enough to go out and right on her heels. They had been about to go up the stairs to the boys' side to Izuku's room when they heard the front door of the dormitories close. By the time they got there and through the doors, they watched Izuku trailing behind Bakugou towards the small forest in front of the dorms.
Watching Izuku sneak off with Bakugou made the girls look at each other again. Their expressions became even more fearful and worried. When the two boys disappeared into the treeline, Suri, Mina, and Tooru quickly ran to try and catch up. Without being able to see them in the trees Suri followed her nose, trying to keep up with the trail that led them straight to one of the campus facilities. The girls stopped and stared at where they ended up following the boys. Another shared glance showed that none of them knew what was going on and were not happy with that fact. In fact, knowing the boys had come to Ground Beta past curfew and without so much as a word to anyone? It made Suri's gut wind up and she suddenly felt sick.
"Why would they come here this late? Tooru asked softly.
"I don't know," Suri answered honestly.
"Did they get the gate open or did they jump the fence?" Mina questioned as she looked over the massive gate. "I wouldn't think the gate would just be open but I didn't hear any explosions from Bakugou either."
"I think they jumped," Suri answered, narrowing her eyes at the wall. "There's no way the door is just left unlocked. Hold tight, okay?"
"Hold tight?" Tooru asked quietly and then eeped as Suri picked her up with one arm.
Tooru was sat onto Suri's left forearm and she clung to that shoulder as Suri situated her comfortably. Mina came next, arguing that Suri couldn't make the jump with the two of them and the beast girl set out to prove her wrong. Once she held both of them, she let a wave of power rush through her and poured her energy into her legs. Her muscles rippled as she leapt, taking both Tooru and Mina with her to the top of the wall. Once they reached the top of the wall, Suri set herself up again and jumped down to the street. She grunted and growled as they hit the street and Suri flexed and stretched after she let her girlfriends down. The action that would have garnered a flirty quip and look from Mina gave way to a different action as the three girls quickly began looking for the boys.
Suri scented the air and motioned for the girls to follow her as she tracked down where the boys had ended up. Of course Ground Beta wasn't anything new to them overall because of the months of training here and several of the other practice facilities. That being said, as they got to one street, everything started feeling a lot more familiar in an eerie sort of way.
"A worthless, Quirkless loser like you somehow got into UA, of all places, and somehow got a Quirk of his own."
"This again," Mina whispered with a sort of whine in her tone. Of course, none of them were strangers to this argument of Bakugou's. He'd beaten this dead horse dry since day one.
"You were always the little weirdo spouting cryptic shit and making that face. Like you were the only one in on the joke. Climbing higher and higher," Bakugou scoffed. "Since the whole sludge thing… nah... since All Might came to town. Higher and higher… and higher."
Suri's eyes began to grow wide and suddenly she felt uncomfortable with Mina and Tooru right next to her. She did not want this whole thing to blow up now.
"And now you've got your license and I don't. I mean, what the fuck, seriously?!"
"I-I wouldn't say it reflects our actual abilities just-"
"Shut up and listen you fucking loser!" Bakugou yelled and Izuku squeaked as he shut up and his expression began to drop into something more serious listening to Bakugou. "I've felt like shit about it this whole time. It's been pissing me off. And then I got to thinking after the whole Kamino business. That borrowed power… you made it your own, huh?"
"Borrowed? Tooru whispered and looked back and forth from Mina and Suri. Mina showed just as much confusion as she did but Suri…
"See, I've been thinking," Bakugou growled and then faced Izuku completely. "You got your Quirk from All Might."
Oh shit.
"What? Is that possible?" Mina and Tooru questioned each other.
Then their eyes fell on Suri and saw that she looked worried, fearful… like the time everyone found out she wasn't human. They grew more worried and more suspicious as they listened to Bakugou and then looked to Suri. Their looks of worry and soft anger began to grow because Suri never reacted shocked. Suri knew something and they didn't. They listened and watched Suri as her fists balled and she began to strain from holding back. Then came the painful realization when they heard their boyfriend finally speak up after being berated and laid into by Bakugou not far from them.
"If I tell you… then what?"
"Suri?" Tooru whispered, watching as the beast girl refused to break eye contact with the scene.
"So here I've got this punk, I thought was a pebble in my path, get recognized by All Might. The guy I admired! Which is why," Bakugou sneered harshly. "We're gonna fight here and now."
"Suri, what is he talking about?" Mina questioned in a low tone.
BOOM!
Tooru and Mina turned back from Suri to the street as Bakugou came at Izuku. The fight was on and there was nothing to stop either of them now as Izuku leapt into the air, dodging the first massive explosion. The problem with the fight is that Izuku didn't want to and he did more to evade and try and talk his way out of it. That only served to piss off Bakugou more who came at him again and again.
The more Izuku tried to dodge, evade, and escape, the more violent the explosions became. Soon, Izuku had no choice but to fight back. There was a small smile that curled onto Mina's lips as she watched their greenette because she recognized the footwork she'd taught him. He was elegant and smooth as he swept himself around to evade a kick from Bakugou and then came the sort of landing pose that looked like Suri. Both girls had their hearts flutter in that quick moment. Even more so because it'd thrown Bakugou off balance. In true Izuku fashion though, with Bakugou down, he ran to him and offered a hand.
"Are you ok-"
"Stop fucking worrying about me! What the hell, just fight!" Bakugou screamed, smacking the greenette's hand away angrily.
Bakugou pulled himself to his feet, grunting and breathing angrily as he did so. His head hung as he pulled himself upright and continued to lambast Izuku for his actions.
"How?! How'd I end up chasing after a dweeb who was always playing catch up? Why'd a twerp like you get that kind of power? You got All Might to recognize you! You got way stronger! So why? Why was it me?! Why was I the one who ended All Might's career?!"
His screams became more hoarse as he'd gone on until, by the end, he was sobbing. He screamed his anger and frustration at Izuku and it made Suri's stomach twist into a knot. She felt sick from how much sadness and anguish was in his voice. But she also knew the kind of weight he was putting on himself because she'd done the exact same thing. She knew that weight was killing him inside.
"If only I'd been stronger. If I hadn't been kidnapped by those villains, everything would've been fine. He'd still have his secret, he'd be fine and I… Gemini would've never happened!"
Suri clasped a hand over her mouth then, her back sliding down the wall as tears began to flow. Her chest ached because in the end, he'd taken the burden of everything on himself. And she'd never known, even after knowing what had happened, she never once thought to ask him. She hadn't checked on him and now her chest felt like it was caving in from the realization that she could have helped. Could have done something. And didn't.
Tooru and Mina were torn between what to do.
They were feeling anger because they'd realized they'd been left in the dark about something that their girlfriend and boyfriend knew. Left in the dark about something that they could and probably should know. They were upset at the situation between Izuku and Bakugou, upset hearing Bakugou's frustrations, and then left in pain as they watched Suri begin to break down emotionally. A breakdown they could help if they'd known what was going on. If there still hadn't been secrets because there weren't supposed to be secrets left between any of them.
Izuku and Bakugou went at it hard again. Hitting each other with practically everything they had while Mina and Tooru watched in shock and horror. They wanted to rush in. They wanted to stop the fight and to stop them from hurting each other. But the ferocity and violence between them made the two freeze. So they were left to watch as the two boys pummeled each other relentlessly. They came at each other full power again and they watched as Izuku hit Bakugou square in the face and rocked him but the blonde powered through. He grabbed the greenette's face and launched an explosion point blank, driving him into the concrete below.
When the dust settled, Bakugou was on top. His hand still gripped Izuku's face, pinning him to the ground as he heaved. With a scowl he caught his breath and muttered to Izuku that he'd won. Even then, he wasn't happy with the victory. The position however gave Suri a surge of flashbacks and it was like she was watching herself from the outside, like Bakugou was her and Izuku was Hyrum. The panic forced her to quickly stand up and make her way to them.
"All Might's power," Bakugou growled. "Even with that. Even after making it your own… you still lost to me?"
"That's enough, Bakugou," Suri quietly said as she came up behind them. Her fists balled tightly as she hung her head and let tears crash against the concrete.
"Fuck off, Mohawk! This isn't your business," Bakugou sneered and then turned his focus back to Izuku below him. "Why? Why'd you lose to me?!"
"Get off of him, Bakugou!" Mina yelled, her fists balling tight as she watched Bakugou pressing harder into her boyfriend. "Tell us… You need to tell us what's going on. Now!"
"Suri, I know you know something," Tooru chirped angrily. "What is this about? What are you three hiding?!"
"That's enough! All of you!"
Everyone turned around to see All Might coming their way, walking solemnly as he approached the group. There was a bitterness in his face that felt so out of place from his usual upbeat and generally positive attitude. It made everyone relent at least a little bit as their teacher came closer to stand with them. His eyes studied Bakugou before he sighed and finally tried addressing the elephant in the room.
"I'm so very sorry… that I never realized-"
"Too little too late!" Bakugou screamed again. "So why Deku? Ever since the sludge thing? Why? Why him of all people? What made him worthy of your Quirk?"
"So… it's true then? You really were Quirkless?" Tooru shot towards Izuku, her voice breaking with the signs of betrayal.
"And you knew?" Mina added in, glaring harshly with the same look of betrayal at Suri. Tears were streaming down all three of the girls' faces by now. Only made worse by Suri's refusal to answer the accusations.
"If I may, Young Ashido, Young Hagakure, if you want to be angry at someone... then be angry at me. I was the one who told them to keep this a secret. I'm sorry. I truly am. But you should know," All Might sighed and turned his gaze directly towards Tooru and Mina. "He's approached me several times now for my blessing. But I've refused him until now."
"Stop avoiding me, goddammit!" Bakugou screamed. "I don't care about him or these idiots. I need to know, All Might!"
All Might sighed again and sunk his head as he turned back to Bakugou and folded his arms tight across his chest.
"To tell you the truth, even powerless... Midoriya was more of a hero than anyone. That includes myself," All Might explained. "I could tell you were strong, Bakugou, you were already well on your way to becoming a hero. So I decided to give him a fair chance at the same path."
"Bullshit! I'm weak," Bakugou snapped back. "I was weak and then this happened to you!"
"Bakugou," Suri muttered under her breath.
"This… was always what was going to happen to me. I was starting to lose power long before I came here, before I met you and Young Midoriya. None of this," All Might motioned to himself, "is your fault at all. Your run in with the villains, it's not because you're not strong, young man…"
"I was weak and I… with Gemini… How can you call me strong?!"
"She would have done what she did, regardless," Suri blurted out before she could stop herself and clenched her eyes shut waiting for the scorn that was sure to follow. "And it was to get back at me. What happened to you is because of me."
"Suri, what are you talking about? What the hell is going on?" Mina growled hoarsely, her voice choked with pain and tears.
Suri's eyes were full of regret and sorrow as she looked at her girlfriends and then down to Bakugou and Izuku. She knew she should have told them everything. There weren't supposed to be any more surprises or secrets but these weren't things for Suri to tell. Even so, she couldn't shake the feeling that she'd betrayed the people she loved. And it was eating her alive.
"All Might," Izuku spoke up. There was a scared determination in his voice as he looked from his mentor to his friend, and girlfriends. "I think it's time they know."
All Might sighed then, hung his head and counted to ten. Once he finished counting, he took a deep breath, looked back up and nodded slowly. The look in his eyes was uncertain and weary, like he'd known this conversation was coming and had dreaded every second of it. Or he would be dreading every second of it at least.
"Yeah. I think you're right. You kids follow me… we've got a lot to discuss."
From Ground Beta, they followed All Might back to campus and into the teacher's lounge. The walk had been completely silent and while Mina and Tooru walked hand in hand, they actively avoided everyone else. The fact that they were avoiding her and Izuku was now distant was making Suri's chest ache. Her head was swimming as the thoughts of pain, anguish, and betrayal piled up to the point that she was practically drowning in a lake full of those feelings. She was shaking as they got closer to the teacher's lounge and she could feel the signs of an onset panic attack and emotional breakdown clawing their way to the surface.
She had to start breathing exercises and paced in a far corner of the room to try and calm down while everyone else took their seats. Mina and Tooru took a seat together in a chair next to All Might's while Izuku and Bakugou sat on the couch opposite of him so that he could speak to them more directly. It was only All Might and Suri that were alone with him being on one couch and Suri continuing to pace slowly against the wall. When her pacing began to slow All Might finally started so that she was able to pay attention.
The retired hero started at the beginning, explaining what All For One was and how it was passed on. He told everyone about the history between All For One and One For All and how there had always been a power struggle between him and the users of All For One. He explained how the Quirk compiles and cultivates its power from user to user and how he'd inherited it from his master and his predecessor. The mention of his master made Suri pause and remember how Grandma Kuroyashi had talked so fondly of the seventh user of One For All.
She also noticed that her uncle deliberately did not tell Izuku about his master's fate.
Then came the events of six years ago and he showed everyone the damage that had been done to him during that battle with All For One. The battle he thought he'd beaten the man once and for all. He detailed the raid prior to his battle and how Suri's dad had taken on the brunt of handling All For One's sidekicks and minions practically by himself. It made her understand just how much Alpha had gone through just to keep it a one on one fight between All Might and All For One. She regretted lambasting him for his apparent failure to watch her uncle's back. In hindsight, he'd done that in the only way either of them knew how to at the time. He explained how, after the battle, he'd been rendered to his current form and could only become the true All Might for several hours a day. Talked about how his power had begun decreasing slowly from then on and how he set out to find his replacement.
He talked about the day that he met Izuku and Bakugou. How he'd just moved into the city and ran across the sludge villain and began chasing him through the streets and then through the sewers. What had shocked everyone was learning that the villain had tried to capture Izuku first to escape from All Might but he intervened. They were grateful that he'd been okay. Then All Might explained how he'd dropped the villain carelessly while leaping through the air. For some reason, Izuku had pouted and looked like he was scolding himself during that part. He explained that he'd run out of time in his muscle form and was about to take the villain to the police when he learned about the villain attacking and capturing Bakugou. He talked about how he felt and lambasted himself for being weak when Bakugou needed him then. And then he watched the scared Quirkless kid run to Bakugou to try and save him even though he couldn't possibly do anything to help. It was that moment that All Might had discovered his successor.
Bukugou grumbled at that notion.
All Might then explained training Izuku and getting him ready to take on One For All. It completely and utterly confirmed any doubts or speculations about Izuku cleaning Dagobah beach and clearing out all of the trash. It came as a shock with the realization that when Suri first laid eyes on Izuku, he hadn't even been given his Quirk yet. She voiced her disdain noting that there was no way to know if Izuku could use his Quirk in that short of time and that it was no wonder that he kept hurting himself. It came as no surprise to learn that Recovery Girl had basically said the same thing on more than one occasion.
Then came Bakugou.
"What did Suri mean by what Gemini did to you?" Izuku asked after a long pause between subjects. He stared into his hands rather than anyone as he asked it and never saw Bakugou flinch at the question.
"It's nothing, just forget it," Bakugou scoffed.
"Is it about the scar she gave you on your back?" Izuku pressed, surprising his rival that he'd noticed the mark on his shoulder.
"You!" Bakugou sneered and turned his sights on Suri.
"No," Suri shook her head in response. "I never said anything."
"She hurt him? And neither of you said anything?" Mina said, further adding truth to Suri's statement as she stared with wide eyes between Suri, Izuku, and Bakugou.
"Why?" Tooru turned on Suri then, hurt and anger plain on her translucent features. She'd switched off her bracelet and had gone back to being invisible on purpose.
"Because I told her not to, dammit," Bakugou growled at the two girls. He then took a deep breath, calmed himself a fraction and then humphed. "Shoulda known you'd notice, dumb useless nerd."
"This is news to me as well," All Might answered in a low tone, his brows tightening as he looked from Bakugou to Izuku and then to Suri.
The accusatory look made Bakugou growl in frustration and stand up quickly, nearly ripping his tank top to shreds as he pulled it upwards. He showed his back to the room and made Mina and Tooru gasp as they saw the intricate white skin tracks of scarred flesh in the shape of the zodiac sign marking him. It made All Might clench his fist and suck in a quick breath of surprise and anger as he saw the mark.
"Young man, what else happened? What caused this?" All Might asked in a low, careful tone.
"I-"
Before Bakugou could answer, there was a knock at the door and then it opened as a familiar scarf came flying through. It snagged itself around Bakugou and Izuku tightly, wrapping them up and trapping them securely. When Mr. Aizawa stepped through, he was caught off guard by seeing the three girls in the room as well. He apparently hadn't been expecting their presence. That moment of shock passed and he refocused on what he had come here to do in the first place; discipline his problem children.
"Fighting on school premises and breaking curfew? Who started it," Aizawa growled.
"Me," Bakugou shrugged.
"B-But I also got pretty worked up," Izuku quickly added.
"You're on lockdown," their teacher shouted, putting a finger in Bakugo's chest first and then Izuku's. "Four days for you, Bakugou. Three for you, Midoriya. During that time, you'll clean the communal spaces. Morning and night. Also, I want a written apology from both of you! And you three," he quickly turned on the three girls next to them. "Breaking curfew and not notifying a teacher when you knew something was going on? Two days for each of you."
"Yes, sir," Suri, Mina, and Tooru muttered softly.
"Now go get your injuries checked out at the nurse's office. But don't rely on her Quirk," he quickly directed. "You got these injuries yourself, you can heal them on your own. Now go home. Get some sleep."
The five of them agreed and left the room. While Bakugou and Izuku went down one hall towards the nurse's office, the girls went the opposite way. The walk back to the dorms was quiet until about halfway between there and the teacher's lounge. Tooru and Mina stayed distant from Suri and it ate at the beast girl immensely to the point she stopped dead in her tracks and hung her head.
"Guys," she practically whispered so her voice didn't shake.
Tooru and Mina both slowed to a stop a few paces ahead of her and turned around to see Suri getting onto her knees and then placing her forehead to the ground. She debased herself utterly and completely as she took a few deep breaths to calm her voice enough to speak.
"I'm sorry. I know we agreed that there were no more secrets and I did everything that I could," she explained remorsefully. "You two, you know every secret I've ever had. I've told you all of my embarrassing stories, everything about my life and who I am. Those two secrets about Izuku and All Might and Bakugou and Gemini. I wanted to say something. I promise I wanted to tell you but…"
"They weren't your secrets to tell," Mina said softly as she sadly looked away from Suri.
"Suri," Tooru said, her fists balling as she tried her best not to start crying from seeing Suri's display. "The reason we're mad… I know it's not our place to be upset but you keep doing this sort of thing. We're not fragile little girls that you have to constantly shield and protect. I won't speak for Mina, but me; I've been trying so hard to get stronger and get better so that I feel like I'm good enough to be by your side. I know you had to leave us in the dark but you've got to remember that we're here. You shouldn't have to put the weight of the world on your back."
"She's right, Suri," Mina nodded in agreement. "You're the queen, we'll give you that. I'm not going to deny or belittle how seriously you take that role. But like Tooru said, please stop trying to take on everything yourself. You didn't have to tell us the secrets outright but you could have come to us to talk and take the pressure off. Now I know why you were teaching Bakugou more than everyone last week when you were showing us how to beat you in a fight."
"He hates himself for being taken advantage of," Suri sighed, finally lifting herself and sitting herself onto her knees. She stared into her hands and flexed them as she thought about Bakugou and Gemini, remembering everything she'd been told that day at the beach. "He's hellbent on becoming better and stronger than any of us. It's like Monoma keeps saying and what that Shindo guy said, he's constantly the victim and that's all he's going to be remembered for. That scar on his back, it's a constant reminder of what Gemini did to him."
"Suri," Tooru muttered as her eyes went wider as something in Suri's words clicked. "Are you saying she did more than just cut him up like that?"
Then it clicked in Mina's head and her eyes went equally wide. Tears began to well up as she realized the implications of everything that had been said.
"Oh. My. God," she whispered as she let the information process. "She really?"
"Assaulted him?" Suri answered as she looked pitifully into her hands. "Yeah. And-"
"No!" Tooru shouted before Suri could even finish. It made both Suri and Mina quickly look at the girl in shock and horror. Like they'd said something to offend or hurt her. And now, she was fully visible, giving them both the full weight of pain, anguish, and all of the other emotions strewn plain across her pale face. "Don't you dare blame yourself, Suri. I know you want to take the blame right now but we've already been through this. You cannot take responsibility for Gemini. She is not your fault."
"Tooru's right," Mina added as her face sombered from hearing and seeing Tooru and realizing what Suri was doing. "You can't carry her on your conscience. I thought we'd already gotten you through that? What would Bakugou say if he heard you say that you still blamed yourself for everything that happened?"
"He'd say; Dammit Mohawk, stop being an idiot. I fight my own battles, you hear me?" Suri said, cracking a small smile as she tried to do her best impersonation of the explosion user. It gained a smile from her girlfriends and she finally gave them a small genuine smile. "I'm sorry I keep trying to put everything on myself. I guess it's just something I do."
"Lean on us," Mina said as she came forward and offered her hand to the beast girl.
"That's what we're here for, remember?" Tooru added as she came to Mina's side and offered her hand as well.
Suri stared at the offered hands for a short moment and then looked up at the girls as she took their hands. She eeped then because of the sudden jerk of strength that yanked her up onto her feet in front of them. It was a way to prove that they could be just as strong as her. She stumbled forward into their arms as they wrapped their free arms around her and hugged Suri tight. She sighed and let the weight off of her shoulders as she sank into them and buried her forehead against them, taking a shaking breath as she relaxed. The three girls stayed that way for a long time, just resting in each other's warmth before Suri pulled back and finally looked into Mina and Tooru's eyes without worry.
"I love you both," she said with a small smile.
"I love you too," both Tooru and Mina said in unison.
"Now let's go home," Mina said, her cheerful quip returning to her voice.
The two girls beside her smiled and nodded before they all turned and started heading for the dorms once again. The walk was short and happy as the girls held each other and relished in each other's touch and warmth. When they got inside however, Mina dragged them to the boys' side of the dorm rooms to both Suri and Tooru's surprise.
"Umm, Mina, I thought we were sleeping in Suri's room tonight?" Tooru asked curiously.
"Change of plans," she stated simply, with a grin. Both girls stared at her with confusion as they got to Izuku's door and went inside then watched her as she pulled her phone from her pajama shorts pocket and quickly typed a message.
Suri and Tooru's phones both buzzed and they looked down to see a new message in their group text. It told Izuku that they'd be in his room when he got home. They looked up again in confusion and blinked as they watched Mina strip down and crawl into Izuku's bed. They looked from her to each other and then back to her again.
"Get comfy, girls," Mina smirked then as she looked at her girlfriends who stared at her like she had gone crazy. "Green Bean has a lot of explaining to do."
"You know he's gonna get distracted if we're naked," Tooru said, rolling her eyes.
"Oh I know," Mina nodded. "For every answer he gives that I don't like? I'm gonna put something back on. He's either going to talk or he's going to have three super layered ladies in his bed. It's his choice."
"Oh that's just cruel," Suri snickered.
"Then he better have some good answers," Mina grinned with sinister intent. Their phones buzzed then and they looked down to see Izuku's text back saying that he was on his way. "Now get those sexy butts in here before we start getting dressed again."
"Well, you heard the woman," Suri rolled her eyes and smiled before following Mina's lead and stripping down before joining the pinkette in bed. It left Tooru standing there by herself, still laughing and sighing happily as she enjoyed the view she got of both her girlfriends crawling into their boyfriend's bed.
"Yes," Tooru said with a happy purr. "My queens~"
