Chapter 25

Draco looked at Ginny and smiled.
"I would love to have more kids with you. I was not sure how you felt about and so I did not bring it up" Draco said lovingly stroking Ginny's hand.
Ginny looked at Draco and said, "I want more kids too, but I want to do the wedding first."
"Of course my love. I would love to do the wedding first and then when we are both ready we can have more kids" Draco said.
"Although….does not mean we still can't practice" Ginny said as she pulled Draco towards their room.
'I could not agree more" Draco said as they silently closed the door behind them.
The next morning the young family went over to Malfoy Manor to visit with Draco's parents.
Upon entering inside, Haven ran straight over to Lucius. He picked her up and gave her a big hug.
"How's Haven today?" Lucius asked smiling at his granddaughter.
"Fine. Can we go play?" Haven asked once Lucius put her down.
Ginny and Draco laughed as Haven pulled on Lucius' arm to go over by her toys.
They all made their way to the sitting room and Haven sat with Lucius and began to play with the toys.
"So Ginny and Draco, how are the final plans coming for the wedding?" Narcissa asked as she poured everyone some tea.
"They are going well. We just have to finish some decorations and we have cake testing coming up this weekend. Once we finish those things then the wedding will be all set" Ginny said as she took a sip of her tea.
"That is wonderful to hear. How is your family doing Ginny?" Narcissa asked.
"They are all doing well. George and Angelina are expecting their first together. They found out they are having a girl" Ginny said smiling at Narcissa.
"Oh that is so exciting. Are you two planning on having more children?" Narcissa asked smirking at the two of them.
Draco looked at his mother and said, " We do want more children. We decided to wait until after we are married. We want to be married and have our honeymoon before another baby."
"I totally understand. I am thinking the next one will be a boy" Narcissa said.
Haven went up to Ginny and said, "Mummy, can we go outside and play?"
"Of course sweetie" Ginny said.
They all headed outside and Draco picked Haven up and ran with her in the grass.
Haven's laughter filled the air as Draco then began to chase Haven around the yard.
Haven ran up to Ginny and clung to her. Ginny laughed as she picked up Haven.
"Mummy is the safe zone" Haven said as she buried her face into the crook of Ginny's neck.
Draco laughed and said, "Oh darn. I guess I will have to get you when you least expect it."
The house elves then brought out some lunch and everyone began to eat the sandwiches and soup provided.
Everyone was contentedly eating when Haven asked an unexpected question.
"Grandma, how come you and grandpa did not like my mummy before?"
They all stopped and looked over at Haven,
Ginny looked at Lucius and Narcissa nervously as she was unsure how they would answer the question.
Narcissa took a moment before she said, "Haven sweetie, your grandfather and I were raised with very poor and horrible beliefs. We had been taught that people who were not of a pure blood status or who were from the Weasley family were not worthy witches or wizards. These were beliefs that we were made to believe. We were foolish enough to continue them as we got older. Your father was taught these things, but he turned out much better than we did. He does not cling to these beliefs and we have learned that what we believed was wrong. We are working on chaining these beliefs everyday. You, your mum, and all of the others mean so much to us and we love you all."
Ginny wiped a tear from her eye and Narcissa smiled at Ginny.
"Okay, so you do not hate us then?" Haven asked looking at Lucius.
"No my sweet girl. We love you very much. We were wrong to hold onto these toxic beliefs and are doing what we can daily to change our thoughts and actions. We love you all very much and we want you to love everyone as well" Lucius said.
Haven smiled and went up to Lucius to bug him.
The rest of the afternoon was spent playing in the yard and after supper time Ginny and Draco decided to head home.
After saying their goodbyes, the young family apparated home.
They bathed Haven and then got her into her pajamas and tucked her into bed.
Haven fell asleep pretty quickly and Draco and Ginny got ready for bed themselves.
They climbed into bed and curled up into one another.
Before Ginny drifted off to sleep she heard Draco say, "I will always love you and Haven."
