Chapter 26

A month had gone by and finally it was the wedding day. Draco was getting ready at their home for the wedding, while Ginny and Haven were at Malfoy Manor. Ginny was applying her own makeup while Hermione helped get Ginny's hair style done.

Haven was all ready in her flower girl dress and had her hair curled. She was sitting with Narcissa and Molly while they waited to see Ginny.

Once her hair was done, Hermione helped Ginny get into her wedding dress.

Ginny turned to look in the mirror as Hermione helped finish zipping the dress.

"Ginny, you look absolutely beautiful" Hermione said as the two girls hugged.

A knock at the door was heard and Hermione went to answer it.

Haven came in with Narcissa and Molly and they were stunned.

Haven ran up to Ginny and Ginny bent down to embrace her daughter.

"Mummy, you look so pretty" Haven said smiling at Ginny.

"Thank you my girl. You look very pretty too" Ginny said as she smiled at Haven.

Narcissa came up to Ginny and embraced her.

"You look absolutely beautiful Ginny. Draco is going to cry when he sees you walking down. I am so glad you two are getting married and I could not have asked for a more perfect daughter in law and granddaughter" Narcissa said as she wiped a tear from her eye.

The two women hugged again and Molly then came up to Ginny.

"I cannot believe my little girl is getting married today. I always knew you would find the right person and I am so glad you and Draco are together. I knew this day would come when you would get married I just did not think of the emotions that come with the day" Molly said as tears flowed down her cheeks.

Ginny hugged her mom and said, "I love you mum. Thank you for all you have done for me. This is one of the happiest days of my life and I am so glad that you and everyone are here to celebrate with us."

Ginny and Molly smiled at each other. Just then another knock was heard at the door.

Molly went to open the door and there was Arthur in nice dress robes.

"May I come see my girl?" Arthur asked.

Molly nodded and let Arthur in. When Arthur saw Ginny, he had stopped in his tracks. A few tears managed to slide down his cheek.

"My little girl is all grown up. I cannot believe this day is here. Where has the time gone? It just seems like yesterday I held you in my arms. Now, you are going to marry the man you love and I could not be more happier for you Ginny" Arthur said as Ginny came to embrace him.

"I love you dad. I'll always be your little girl. Thank you for all that you have done for me and Haven. Draco is an amazing father and soon to be my husband. I am so glad to be marrying him today" Ginny said as she gave her dad a kiss on the cheek.

They had some time before the wedding started and Molly had brought pictures of when Ginny was younger that they all began to look at. Narcissa as well brought out pictures of Draco and they all began to share the memories together.

At their home, Draco was finishing getting his tie in place when a knock was heard at the door.

Draco went to answer it and saw Harry standing there.

"May I come in?" Harry asked.

"Of course Harry please come in" Draco said as he opened the door more for Harry to step in.

Harry walked inside and took a seat at the table. Draco conjured up two cups of coffee and gave one to Harry as he sat down at the other end with his cup.

Neither said anything for a moment then Harry took a breath and said, "Today is the big day. How are you feeling?"

"I honestly could not be more happy nor excited. I am ready to marry Ginny and start our lives as a married couple. Are you okay?" Draco asked looking at Harry.

Harry took a moment then said, "Actually I am. I am so happy Ginny has you in her life. You are really good for her. I always thought it would be me and Ginny getting married and having kids, but when I see you two together it makes sense. Also, seeing how you are an amazing dad to Haven I am grateful she has you as well."

Draco smiled and said, "Thank you Harry that means so very much. I was nervous whenever I learned I had a daughter and unsure if Ginny would want me in their lives. But after getting to know Haven and being with Ginny more, I have realized what love truly is. Love does not mean that everything will be perfect everyday, but rather it means that you make that choice to choose the ones you want in your life over and over again. I am so glad Ginny wants to marry me too and I am just grateful for how life has turned out so far."

Harry smiled and as the two men finished their coffee they conversed about what the future may look like.

After a short time, Draco looked at the clock and realized he needed to apparate to Malfoy Manor.

"Well Harry, thank you for coming by I need to apparate to Malfoy Manor now as the wedding will begin soon. Are you still coming?" Draco asked as he got his cloak.

Harry nodded and said, "Of course I will be there. I have to go pick up my date first."

Draco looked at Harry and said, "Who is your date?"

Harry smiled and said, "I have been seeing Luna Lovegood for some time and she is coming to the wedding as my date."

The two men shook hands goodbye and Harry stepped outside and apparated away.

Draco smiled to himself and said, "This is it. One of the best days of my life has come. Time to marry my love and spend the rest of our lives together as a family."

Draco then apparated away to Malfoy Manor.
