Chapter 27

All of the guests had taken their seats and Draco stood at the front by the altar. Kingsley Shacklebolt was presiding over the ceremony and they all waited for when Ginny would walk down.

Haven walked down first wearing her flower girl dress. She threw the petals on the aisle smiling at her dad. Once she reached Draco, she hugged him and then went to sit with Lucius and Narcissa.

Hermione walked down wearing a beautiful lavender strapless dress. The dress was of chiffon material and flowed around her knees. Ron was escorting her down the aisle.

Just then, the music changed and Kingsley said, "All rise for the entrance of the bride please."

Draco stood in awe as the doors swung open to reveal Ginny and Arthur. Draco's eyes began to water as he took in how beautiful Ginny looked.

Ginny's eyes locked with Draco's as they began to walk towards him.

Arthur whispered in Ginny's ear, "I am so proud of you both and am so happy for you."

Ginny looked at her dad and smiled. They finally reached Draco at the altar.

"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" Kingsley asked looking at Arthur.

"Her mother and I give our blessing for their marriage" Arthur said as he lifted the veil and kissed Ginny on the cheek.

Arthur looked at Ginny and said, "I love you princess."

"I love you too dad" Ginny said.

Draco shook Arthur's hand and then grabbed Ginny's hand as they stood before Kingsley.

"Thank you all for gathering here today to celebrate the love between Draco and Ginny. I have known these two for a long time and I am so proud of both of them. Seeing the love these two have for each other is both encouraging and yet lovely. I can definitely see the love these two share with one another. Love is an amazing thing. For centuries, many people have experienced love and have been able to leave examples for us as to what love truly is. These two standing before me have shown what love means. What these two have conquered together is something that has inspired so many others…"

Ginny looked at Draco and they both smiled at each other.

"Now, I will have Draco start with his vows to Ginny" Kingsley said as he looked to Draco.

"Ginny, I cannot fully being to express how much I love you, but I am wanting to try. I have known you for a long time and yet I am still always amazed by you. You have endured so much in life and you show so much love and grace to many people you meet. I am in awe of you every day. You gave me one of the best gifts in life. You gave me Haven. I was surprised from the first day I saw Haven next to you. She is such a wonderful mixture of you and me. I am sorry I was not there from the moment you found out you were expecting her, but I am so grateful you have accepted me into both of your lives'. I love you both so dearly and I am honored that you will be my wife. I am so excited to show you everyday just how much I love and adore you. I promise to always cherish you and Haven. I love you Ginny" Draco said.

"Draco, you may go ahead and place the ring on her finger" Kingsley said.

Draco lifted Ginny's hand and slid the ring on her finger. He kissed her hand once the ring was on.

"Now Ginny, you may say your vows to Draco" Kingsley said.

Ginny looked to Draco and began her vows, "Draco, if someone would have told me years ago that you and I would end up together I would have been shocked. Life has definitely thrown us many curve balls. However, you gave me one of the best gifts in Haven. I was scared at first when I found out I was having Haven. I was unsure what life would be like. However, once you came back into our lives I realized then that I never wanted you out of it again. You are an amazing father to Haven and for that.I am so grateful. I am so glad to be able to call you my husband. I love you endlessly and am forever grateful for you. Who would have thought that a Weasley and a Malfoy could call in love? But I would never change a thing. You are my everything and who I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much Draco and I promise to always cherish you and Haven. I love you Draco" Ginny said.

"Ginny, you may place the ring on Draco's finger" Kingsley said.

Ginny lifted Draco's hand and slid the ring onto his finger.

They smiled at each other and Kingsley then continued.

"Now Draco and Ginny will sign their marriage license please" Kingsley said.

Draco signed first and then Ginny followed by signing her new name: Ginny Malfoy.

They then returned to holding each other's hands.

"It is with honor and privilege that I pronounce to you Draco and Ginny Malfoy. Draco, you may kiss your bride" Kingsley declared.

Draco cupped Ginny's face gently and kissed her softly.

The crowd cheered and Draco and Ginny pulled apart.

They walked back down the aisle and everyone began to file out to the reception.

Draco took Ginny into a side room to have a moment alone with her.

"Ginny, we did it. We are officially husband and wife!" Draco shouted as he picked Ginny up to spin her around.

Ginny laughed and said, " I know I am so happy to be your wife. Now you, Haven, and I are all Malfoys. I love you so much."

"I love you so much Ginny love" Draco said.

"We should get out to the reception as they are all probably looking for us. We do not want to give them any ideas" Ginny said.

Draco gave Ginny the famous Malfoy smirk and said, "We could do it quickly before we go out there."

Ginny laughed and said, "Trust me as much fun as that would be I am sure our parents would have a conniption and chastise both of us. However, I will make it up to you later when we head out on our honeymoon."

Ginny smirked as she opened the door to head to the reception.

Draco looked at her retreating form and said, "She will be the death of me."
