Tooru is going through some big emotions. She goes to help the pack in any way she can. She totally doesn't do anything reckless.
By the time dinner rolled around, Tooru was pacing a hole in her floor. She had been checking her phone periodically ever since Suri left to go on her mission and, although she had all the confidence in the world in her girlfriend, she couldn't shake the dread in the pit of her stomach. It was distracting to say the least and as a result she skipped dinner and excused herself to finish her homework in her room.
Spoiler alert; she never ended up doing any homework at all.
After dinner, Izuku and Mina came by to check on her and they all but called her on her bluff when she tried to lie and say she was okay. She knew it was dumb to try and lie to her girlfriend and boyfriend but she hadn't wanted them to worry. Granted, they were just as worried about Suri as she was and all three of them were antsy throughout their evening together. They decided to cuddle on Tooru's bed and watch a movie on her laptop, which was one of their usual activities together.
Normally a movie night ended with more than just cuddling and being wrapped in each other's warmth. Normally Tooru would've been panting and writhing on the bed before the halfway point in the movie even hit. Normally she would have been an hour into clinging to and making out with Izuku, leaving little love marks across his back. Normally she and Mina would have been throwing clothes across the room, rolling around skin on skin and giggling happily in each other's arms as they nibbled, licked, and kissed each other all over.
Normally… she would have been staring up into Suri's eyes as the beast girl looked down at her like she was the most beautiful girl in the world.
Of course, the three of them enjoyed their evening together. It was hard not to enjoy having Mina and Izuku close to her and they did as much as they could to keep Tooru out of her head. For a couple hours, it worked and it was a nice distraction. Seriously, it was. Especially with how Mina pulled Tooru out of her own head for the hundredth time. She'd been watching the credits on the moving rolling like they were the most interesting thing in the world and then she heard Mina say her name. When Tooru turned to see what Mina was trying to get her attention about was when the pinkette's lips met hers and the invisible girl was weak to resist her girlfriend. And for those long few minutes she loved and savored the taste and feel of Mina's mouth and tongue as they kissed passionately. Then there was the spine tingling sensation of halfway through when Izuku went from just watching his girlfriends makeout to laying kisses and bites across Tooru's neck, shoulders, and earlobe while his hand held firm on her hip.
Tooru loved being pinned between them.
Honest to god she did.
And honest to god she so wanted to keep going. She wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of the night pinned between them and having the two of them make her scream. Because they'd proved over and over again they were very very good at doing just that. But… her head kept getting in the way.
"Hey, Tooru," Izuku spoke softly into her ear as he cradled her from behind. His voice was thick with concern and it forced her to stop what she was doing and turn her head so that she could look into his eyes. "Are you feeling okay? You don't seem like yourself."
"Yeah," Mina sighed deeply and let her shoulders slump as she carefully watched what she could make out of the invisible girl. "We've done pretty good to cheer you up cause you totally needed it. But, girl, you know you can talk to us right?"
"I know," Tooru whined and pouted her lip even though she knew neither of her lovers could see it. She took in another deep breath and sat up so that she could look at both of them. "I'm just worried about Suri. I know! I know she's a big girl and she can take care of herself but it doesn't stop me from worrying."
"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried too," Izuku admitted and smiled sheepishly. "She's out on her first big mission as a hero and it's against someone as bad as Gemini. I guess my situation isn't much better either though."
"Yeah, you've got a big mission first thing in the morning," Mina nodded and turned to look at the clock near Tooru's bed. "Crap! Midori you gotta get to sleep."
"I know," he chuckled and scratched the back of his head nervously.
"Dammit, you've stayed awake cause you were trying to help me, weren't you?" Tooru groaned and narrowed her eyes at the greenette.
"Maybe."
"Izuku," Tooru whined, softly hitting his shoulder with the back of her hand. "Go get in bed!"
"But what about you?" he retorted, giving Tooru the full concern in his eyes.
"I'll be fine, you big goof," she replied with a smile, trying to keep her voice warm to ease all of that worry out of his eyes. God she loved how much he cared for the three of them. "I don't wanna be the reason you don't get enough sleep for your own big day tomorrow."
And as if to prove her point, both Izuku and Mina yawned at that moment. It made Tooru giggle and smile as she began coaxing her boyfriend and girlfriend off the bed and towards the door. It took a little time but eventually the two of them made it to Tooru's door and were one foot out each before they both turned back to the invisible girl and gave her contemplative looks.
"You're sure you don't want one of us to stay with you?" Mina asked, prodding the invisible girl.
"I'll be okay, I promise."
"You'll call us back here if you do, right?" Izuku added with his own concerned tone.
Tooru grumbled and grabbed Izuku by the collar of his shirt to pull him down those couple inches to meet her lips. She kissed him fiercely and kept him down on her level as she leaned into his ear.
"Come back to me safe and I swear to god I will call your name all night," she purred hotly, which made him blush deeply and gulp hard. She then pushed him back with a giggle and looked up to him with all of the love and adoration she had for him. "Now, go get some rest. Please, Izuku."
"I mean with that offer, how can he say no," Mina giggled and moved in to hug the invisible girl tight and lay a kiss on the girl's cheek. "Don't stay up too late yourself, girl, or I will kick your butt for not getting enough sleep yourself."
"Gee, you make it sound like I don't sleep at all," Tooru huffed and rolled her eyes.
"Do I need to tell you to drink your water, too?" Izuku asked, throwing on a grin like he didn't just trigger part of Tooru's libido.
Tooru stared up at him and furrowed her brows because the last thing she needed was to be domme voiced by Izuku Midoriya. That would need to wait for another night. One that wasn't the night before a big mission and one that didn't have part of her heart miles away. Still she decided to grant him the teasing that his action warranted.
"No, daddy, you don't," she teased, throwing emphasis on the word that turned Izuku into a blubbering mess that was looking around frantically with eyes the size of dinner plates. She turned back and pointed to her nightstand with a giggle. "See, I've got my water right there. Now go! Seriously!"
Izuku relented and waved off Tooru defensively as he took a step back and waited for Mina to come with him. The pinkette made sure one last time that Tooru knew they would just be on the other side of the building if she needed them. For her efforts, Mina earned a deep, loving kiss from Tooru before getting her ass smacked as the invisible girl pleaded with them to go get some damn sleep. Thankfully, the two of them listened and Tooru watched as they headed for the stairs hand in hand to go to the boys' side and to Izuku's room. As much as she'd love nothing more than to snuggle up with the two of them and fall asleep in Izuku and Mina's arms, she didn't want to worry them more than she already had.
Instead, she went back to pacing.
After taking a drink of water, of course.
"Stupid, sexy Izuku," she grumbled quietly as she continued her slow path around the middle of her room. She stared at her phone as she paced and decided to pick it up and shoot Yumei a text instead to try and do anything with her hands.
Tooru: Hey girlfriend! 3 How's our girl doing?
Thankfully it didn't take long for her friend to answer and it did help to ease a little bit that was pressing on Tooru's mind.
Yumei: Hiiiiii! 3 3 She's doing good. She's on the bus right now and they're on their way so things are getting pretty busy around here.
Tooru: Yaysies! I'm glad things are going okay.
Yumei: Nervous? :3
Tooru: Totally! Lol ..
Yumei: OMG same! Lol ..
Tooru: You gots this! 3 3 3
Yumei: Thank you bby 3
Yumei: I g2g, they're into the mission zone! I'll have her call you as soon as she can okay?
Tooru: You're the bestest! Thank you beautiful! 3 3 3
Yumei: You're welcome gorgeous 3 3 3
Tooru sighed and smiled at her phone before tucking it back to where she and the girls normally carried their phones. Hooray for natural pockets. She no longer felt the need to pace, which was a lifesaver for her rug but she didn't feel any more tired. In fact, she was still wide awake and needed something to do. The need for something to do led her to her balcony where she leaned over the railing, taking in a deep breath of the cool night time air. She looked up, smiling at the full moon before her eyes caught sight of something in the treeline just below. She watched as lights moved through the forest and was about to giggle at the curfew breakers when she realized who they were and what they were doing.
She'd all but forgotten about earlier in the day. How Suri had been running around to find more shifters at school, met up with the small coven of witches, and how she'd asked Pazuzu if it wasn't too much trouble to take Suri food during their meeting. She was nervous around Pazuzu but, like Suri, he'd taken the time to not treat her like she was invisible and was more than happy to take her up on her request. Hell, he'd insisted that she come with him since Suri was her girl but Tooru insisted back that she didn't want to interrupt the important stuff Suri was doing. Truthfully, Tooru knew it was a lame excuse.
Now that she was seeing the lights and remembering what was going on, she decided on what she'd do to kill time waiting for Suri to text. Whether by coincidence or not Tooru giggled at the fact that she pulled one of Suri's plaid flannel shirts from her clothing rack. It was perfect for the chilly summer night because of how cozy it was, hence why she'd stolen it in the first place, but more than that she could still smell Suri on it. It wasn't rocket science that girlfriends steal their boyfriend's clothing because it has their smell and that sensation makes them feel comforted, warm, and safe. The concept was the same when it came to stealing her girlfriend's clothing because when it came down to it, that warm cinnamon sugar scent of Suri embedded in the shirt's collar, made her feel safe.
Tooru quickly laced up her leather boots and closed her room's door behind her before making her way down the stairs, through the common room, and out the front door. Once she knew she was in the clear, she hopped and ran through the woods with a smile before coming to the line of trees around the clearing. She was contemplating whether to enter the clearing or not when the group paused what they were doing and Tooru watched as Pazuzu, Mutekabe, and the other shifters lifted their noses to the air curiously. It made her sigh and she sheepishly slipped from the trees and walked out into the clearing nervously.
"Yo, you joining us troublemakers?" Pazuzu chuckled and turned to face Tooru with his hands shoved deep into his jeans pockets.
"Am I ever gonna get used to that," Tooru asked, mostly to herself, as she began walking towards the group at the base of the throne.
"Get used to what, babe," Ryuko asked, briefly lifting her eyes from what she and the coven were doing. As Tooru got closer she saw various candles, gems, a large stone bowl, and other articles of trinkets laid out in between them. Hanashita was speaking but in nothing the invisible girl could understand while the four of them laid their hands together over all of the objects.
"Attention," Tooru answered shyly, hitting the button on her bracelet so that she became fully visible to everyone. There was no sense in trying to hide herself anymore and apparently she wasn't going to be in the way like she'd feared. "I spent a lot of time being used to being invisible and never having anyone really see me or notice me. I mean me and Mina were friends for years before we started dating so she's tried her best. But Suri and other shifters… it makes me self conscious sometimes. Actually I think I've spent more time thinking about how to present myself around Suri than I ever have before, since you guys can kinda see me anyway."
"Suri can see you? That's quite interesting," Mutekabe commented curiously.
"Can't you?" Tooru asked and couldn't hide the confusion. And just to make sure, she hit the button on her bracelet, enabling her Quirk once again.
"I can say that yesterday, when we came to challenge Kuroyashi," Nishijima, the leopard girl who'd been one of the last to back down against the Wave of Domination, spoke. "You were very much invisible. I couldn't see you at all and honestly… I could barely scent you. You were just… there. Today on the other hand…"
"It's like seeing space itself move," Koto, the werefox, said next as he pushed up his glasses on the bridge of his nose..
"Right? It's kinda messin with me," Hanegawa, the male leopard, chuckled.
The last of the shifters just simply nodded her response. She had been in the crowd from last night but hadn't stepped forward during the challenge of power and had all but seemed to vanish in the crowd. It was only when Suri had been doing blood oaths that her name and species came up as she was introduced as Mai, a werewolf from the same clan as Pazuzu.
The revelation from them all made her pause and think about what they were saying. They were now seeing her in the same way that Suri could see her when they first met that first day on the train to UA. They couldn't really see her but the light and energy around her was bending, becoming displaced, and the beasts behind the shifters' eyes were trying to make sense of it. It was both relieving that they could at least have reference points to try and see her but also not because she was still just as invisible as ever.
Apparently the fact that Suri could see even an apparition of her meant a lot. Now she was missing that and she was especially missing Suri.
"So when she and I first met, she was able to see me like you guys are now," Tooru began to explain. "I think she said it was like seeing a walking shadow or something like that. As Atiena got stronger she started seeing me more and more but she's been able to see me almost completely ever since the last full moon."
"What happened the last full moon?" Koto asked innocently.
The coven, Pazuzu, Nishijima, and Hanegawa paused, looked at each other cautiously, back to Tooru, and then to the werefox. He watched their actions and sheepishly blushed when they looked back at him and he realized he was out of the loop completely on something. Something very important.
"Bro, how do you not know?" Pazuzu raised an eyebrow and looked at the fox incredulously/
"Hah, fuckin right? Like, dude, we're not even shifters and we know?" Saito chuckled and casually motioned back and forth between her and her twin.
Koto grumbled and sunk into himself. Tooru felt bad for him and decided to be the one to explain everything to him.
"On the last full moon, we were out at a joint training camp with class B of the hero course. It was our classes and the Wild Wild Pussycats up in the mountains on their land. It was top secret but somehow the League found us and attacked. They managed to injure some of us, I was one of the ones that ended up in the hospital, and I'm sure you heard about Bakugou getting kidnapped."
"That… wait, yeah, I did hear about that. He was there when All Might… oh…"
"Yeah," Tooru chuckled without a speck of humor in her voice. "The night they attacked was the night after the full moon so Suri was already exhausted from Atiena's hunt and having to do a full day of training. We all were. But that was when Gemini showed up and attacked us with the villains. Suri… was killed in the process but she came back to life and took on her beast form to fight Gemini. She held her off until the villains retreated and then when she woke up…"
"So that's why her eyes are like that," Koto said in soft realization. He then looked at his hands like he was feeling something in them that no one else could see and furrowed his brows in deep thought. "That makes sense then. I thought it was for show but it doesn't make sense to be in partial transformation all hours of the day."
"It's also why the entire hero course and some of the other student body know about her being a lycanthrope. She blames herself for Gemini showing up, doesn't she?" Ryuko asked quietly and it made Tooru really look at the girl. Because Suri hadn't shared that with anyone except for everyone that was there that day on the beach. Before Tooru could ask anything, Ryuko simply smiled at the invisible girl and nodded her head. "I don't need to be an empath to know that Suri's the kind of person to wear her heart on her sleeve. Today and last night were proof enough of that. I also don't need to be an empath to know that you don't feel like you do enough for her but, well, here we are, hun."
Tooru grumbled and shrunk in on herself sheepishly as Ryuko all but called her out. It had always been a terrible bluff of hers but, like the magical witch she was, Ryuko hit that nail on the head. It wasn't like it wasn't obvious. It was one of the reasons she came to the clearing tonight in the first place. She could make the excuse that she just wanted to come and watch but really she was anxious, hoping that this would work, but also hoping that she might be able to help.
"You know… you don't gotta call me out like that," Tooru sighed after a long moment. "It's totally not fair that you can read me like Suri and Mina can."
"Honey, you're invisible, not non-existent," Ryuko chuckled in return. "Listen to the spirits once in a while, I know you can probably hear them. They'll give you guidance on what you need to do."
"The spirits?" Tooru asked cautiously.
"Yeah," Pazuzu rolled his eyes and smirked. "This works, there'll be a lot more around here."
"Do you ever get cold chills, feel like something is watching you, or feel something on your skin, like, you're cold or itchy but you're really not, sort of thing," Hanashita asked, pausing the reading in some other language that she was doing.
"Yeah, sort of," Tooru shrugged. "I feel most of it around Suri when she brings her power out. But I guess I've felt things or seen things even before we met."
"If tonight is a success, you'll be seeing and feeling a lot more, Hagakure," Nishijima said, staring up at the full moon with a smile. "This place already has plenty of power but after tonight I think it's going to be as rich with power as the lagoon."
"I've heard that before," Tooru said quietly, combing through her memories about the Lupanars Suri had had while here in Japan. "That's Grandma's place right? Up behind the compound?"
"That's the one," Hanegawa answered. When Tooru looked at him she realized all of the shifters had their heads up and were smiling like they were comfortable and relaxed. It was like watching someone sunbathing and enjoying the warmth of the sun after soaking in the ocean. "I gotta say, Hagakure, it's nice having someone around that knows as much as you do. Makes it easy to not want to hide what we are all the time, ya know?"
"I know how hard it can be to be invisible," Tooru shrugged and smiled. "Honestly, your kind has gone out of their way to make me feel more visible and included than I ever have been. I know what it's like to be hiding in plain sight… even if I don't want to be hidden."
With that Tooru smiled softly and pulled out her phone to check not only the time but to see if she'd gotten any replies yet. She grumbled as the light hit her eye and the only notification on her phone was a weather pop up. Something about not having a text from Yumei or Suri herself made Tooru feel a sense of worry but she shook it off. She didn't want to be a worry wart, she didn't want to start pacing the clearing like she had in her room, she wanted to just feel okay. It was bad enough having worse than normal separation anxiety because it was starting to worry Tooru about how much she was dependent on her girlfriend. Or was that it? No, she'd had a bad feeling that hadn't gone away and had been quietly eating at her all day.
Something just… didn't feel right.
"Ten minutes to midnight," Mutekabe spoke, breaking up the momentary silence in the clearing.
"Hagakure, help me out real quick and let's get this ritual going," Saito said as she got up onto her feet and pulled out several small metal plates and a set of candles.
"Sure," Tooru answered happily and went to Saito, flipping her invisibility off again so that the witch could see her, ignoring the bad feeling in her gut.
The two of them went to six different points around the perimeter of the clearing and began setting up. Each point first had one of the metal plates, apparently made of silver, placed down onto the ground before Saito took out a candle, melted the bottom of it and then placed it upright so that the melted wax held it in place once it quickly cooled. Saito then took the stone bowl that had been filled from the container that Mutekabe had filled earlier in the day and poured its contents, a few drops onto the candle and plate, and a few drops onto the ground surrounding the plate. Tooru watched the white candles turn red and realized what was being poured was Suri's blood and, even though she thought she should be horrified at the sight, she wasn't. That was when Saito began speaking in another language, a small chant that sounded like it was possibly in Latin or some other old language, and then, once she was finished she directed Tooru to light the candle.
Each candle made a loud hiss as the flame came to life and turned the bright crimson color that each candle had turned because of Suri's blood to black. What made Tooru even more fascinated was the fact that the hissing sound the candles made as Suri's blood was lit on fire sounded like her whispering. It made Tooru shiver and bite her lip at hearing the ghost of Suri's voice, and imagined the beast girl behind her whispering sweet nothings and naughtly little teases into her ear. She knew that wasn't the case but Tooru was never shy about letting her mind wander wherever it may, especially when it came to Suri, Mina, and Izuku.
"Okay, Hagakure," Ryuko spoke as everyone came back to the base of the stone throne where the coven had created a small altar in front of it. The long wooden table was lined with the trinkets they'd brought with them along with various bundles of herbs and sage and in the center was a large candle that had been curiously carved into the shape of a person. When Tooru got a closer look at it she realized she was staring at a wax carving of her girlfriend's naked body and couldn't help but blush at the precision the person who carved it had had. She became even more entranced in the lifelike candle when Ryuko lit the wick and Suri's wax form began to glow from the flame dancing above it. It took another nudge but then Ryuko finally spoke again once she had Tooru's attention. "I need the offering Suri had you bring."
"The what?"
"The offering," Ryuko said slowly, narrowing her eyes at her. When there was no other reaction, Ryuko's eyes began to go wide as did the three other witches. "Oh shit."
"Oh shit, what?" Tooru said, starting to panic as she saw everyone's reaction. "Was I supposed to bring something?"
"Chibi, the spell will still work right?" Saito asked quickly, realizing what was happening.
"I-I umm… I don't know," Chibi said frantically before flipping through her small journal to where she'd made her notes. "I-It might! But from what we gathered from Coleen, we're supposed to have an offering to present to Suri's visage. It might work without one but it might not be as strong or the land rites might not hold and have to be mended in a month."
"It has to be mended in a month anyway, correct?" Mutekabe asked with caution in her voice. "Since she's not here physically we'll have to do the ritual a second time to secure her bonds to the land in person on the next full moon."
"Yes," Ryuko answered and groaned. "But the reason she wanted it to be done this way is because of what's happening tonight. She said she needs the extra power tonight."
"Shit," Saito groaned. "She forgot to get an offering before she had to leave, didn't she?"
"I thought she told me she'd have Tooru bring something," Ryuko answered her sister and then locked eyes with the girl in question. "She didn't say anything, did she?"
"No," Tooru admitted and hung her head in defeat. "She got back to class and then, like, not even five minutes later, Ketsuiki called and she had to run out the door. I texted Yumei and she didn't mention anything from Suri either."
"Hehe, at least she's not going to be a boring queen," Pazuzu chuckled and shook his head before being promptly smacked on the back of his head by his girlfriend.
"So what do we do?" Saito asked quickly.
The four witches became a storm of voices as they went back and forth between each other in rapid succession. Idea after idea and word after word were bounced back and forth in a flurry as they tried to come up with a plan. A plan that they had five minutes to come up with. To make matters worse all voices paused and everyone froze in place as the flame dancing above the large candle grew exponentially, standing nearly a foot in height for a few seconds before flickering down to almost nothing. The fact that the flame had almost gone out seemed to make the four witches pale and Tooru watched the color in their faces all but leak out.
Whatever that was had been a very very bad sign.
So much so that even the shapeshifters were frozen in place and watching the candle like it was the scariest horror movie they'd ever seen. If the coven and the shifters were scared it told Tooru that something bad was happening and something needed to happen fast if Suri was going to come home to her. She watched the flame for another split second before turning to Ryuko, Saito, Mutekabe, and Hanashita frantically.
"What about me?" Tooru asked hurriedly.
"What?" the coven exclaimed in unison.
"Me! Use me!" Tooru chirped. "We don't have time to run back to her room for an offering. And I'm guessing the flame doing that is a really bad sign right? So what about me? Maybe we can, like, I dunno, use my blood or something!"
"Dude, it's cool that you're offering yourself to help your girlfriend but hold up," Saito said, waving her hands at Tooru to calm the invisible girl down. "Do you know what you're even trying to volunteer yourself for?"
"No! But I need to help Suri."
"That's cool but, homie, that's-"
"It'll work right?"
"I-I mean yes, technically, b-but i-it-"
"Okay, let's do it then."
"Hagakure, hold on, hun, just-"
"So what do we do? I just give a couple drops of blood and it'll be fine, right?"
"Tooru," Pazuzu said quickly, reaching down to grip the girl's shoulder and hold her in place. "Do you know what you're doing?"
"I'm helping Suri, dammit," Tooru screeched and started looking around for something that she could use to do what she had set her mind to. "I'm going to do something I should have done earlier today to help her."
"Tooru, wait," the twins said in unison quickly.
"Suri needs my help," Tooru chirped again and she surprisingly felt Pazuzu's grip lessen as he let her move freely. When she looked back she saw him grinning with confidence and he nodded towards her. His actions made Ryuko's eyes narrow at her boyfriend and then widened as she tried to make sense of what Tooru was doing next.
"Tooru, no!"
Ryuko called out and quickly pulled the same ceremonial knife that Suri had used earlier in the day away from her. Tooru was going for the knife that still had traces of Suri's blood on it, not knowing what it might potentially do to her. Tooru however used the combat training that she'd learned from her internship and from her current work studies.
She watched Ryuko and, in a matter of a few seconds, batted Ryuko's hands, popping the knife out of her hand and making her hand sting from where Tooru quickly hit her. As the knife became dislodged, Tooru retrieved it and held it in her hand. She watched the flame and once again heard voices, Suri's and Atiena's voices, whispering into her and she suddenly knew what to say and what to do.
"By the powers of the elements," Tooru began reciting, following along the ghostly whisper of Atiena's voice that she swore she could hear clear as day.
"Tooru, wait!"
"The will of fire, earth, water, and wind bind us to this place. By the blood of my pact, I give my solemn oath to Suri Kuroyashi-Okwondu to serve her in everything she may will me to do. By my blood will this land be consecrated to our queen, by my blood do we serve her and grant her the power of this throne. By the will of iron and blood, I pray to her gods and ancestors to give her what she desires most."
With that Tooru ran the blade across her palm, hissing as her flesh was slit open and shots of pain surged through her. She quietly pleaded, hoping that her words and conviction were enough. She hoped that the times she'd sat with Suri as she prayed to her gods at the altar in her room were enough, that she'd said the right words, that she'd done the right thing. If she had any regrets, it was too late to worry about them now as her blood began to trickle down onto the sculpted candle, showering the visage of Suri in crimson.
"Please come back to me safe, Suri and Atiena," Tooru whispered and closed her eyes.
There was a flash of blinding light that exploded from the altar, knockering her and the coven back and suddenly she heard the sounds of growling and howling. The last thing Tooru saw was Pazuzu, Mutekabe, Nishijima, Hanegawa, Koto, and Mai taking their beast forms, calling out to the moon and then disappearing into the trees. The last thing she felt was the desire to run off into the woods with them or better yet to run and find Suri.
Funny, she'd never felt the need to run like that before.
The last thought she had was about Suri, Izuku, and Mina and how much she wanted to see them. Thought about how much she wished she could be huddled in their arms at that moment. Before she passed out she thought of only one thing; how much she loved the three of them because she truly did love them with every ounce of her being.
That was enough, wasn't it?
