Tooru has a surprise awakening. Suri wakes up in a hospital. Again. Suri and Class 1-A deal with the fallout of the raids day. Suri gets news on Kodiak.
Buzzing.
Non stop, headache inducing buzzing.
Buzzing that Tooru had to stop so she could get some more damn sleep.
There was just one problem with that that Tooru found and that was the presence of someone in her bed. Part of her wanted to ignore the buzzing and snuggle up to whoever it was because being skin to skin with Mina or Izuku sounded amazing right now. Maybe it was Suri? It could be Suri, because whoever it was ran hot like a heating pad and they'd be very comfy to snuggle up to except…
"Ugh, damn phone," Tooru grumbled as she groggily lifted herself up, practically smashing whoever she'd been cuddling to and batted at her nightstand to find her phone.
With one eye barely opening she slumped forward and looked at her phone notifications and started swiping the ones that she didn't care about away. Weather notifications, mobile game notifications, spam, wi-fi networks. Then she saw another call coming in and smiled sleepily at seeing who it was.
"H-Hey beautiful," she spoke in a hoarse gravelly voice.
"Tooru! Finally baby," Mina said with eagerness and anxiety in her voice. "Where are you?"
"Umm my room, you're not… oh," Tooru furrowed her brow at hearing the pinkette wasn't in her room, remembered she'd gone to bed with Izuku and then remembered she didn't remember making it back to her room last night. In that pause, she looked around and realized something she probably should have noticed sooner.
As she looked around she realized several things.
Her head hurt like hell.
Boobs.
Did she mention she had a headache?
"Tooru?" Mina asked cautiously when she didn't get another answer. "Okay, hold on, I'm coming in so we can hurry and go."
"You're here?" Tooru asked groggily and tried to focus on her bedroom door as she listened to Mina walking down the hallway. She saw the shadow of her standing at the door and watched as light finally flooded the room and she had to tightly clench her eyes from being blinded.
With that a chorus of hisses and groans rang out.
"What… the…" Mina said slowly.
"Turn the goddamn lights off," came an annoyed, rough voice that Tooru recognized as Pazuzu. And he happened to be close by.
When Tooru opened her eyes and fought off the pounding headache, she was met by Mina's horrified expression. Then Tooru finally started looking around to see what she saw because what she was seeing was a pile of naked bodies strewn throughout her room. The person she had crushed getting her phone? That was Nishijima who was cringing and holding a hand over her face to shield her eyes from the light. Tooru went wide eyed as she took notice of the leopard girl's long, voluptuous form, shimmering indigo colored hair that draped down to her waist when it wasn't tied up, and oddly familiar chartreuse colored eyes.
"Guess it's morning then" the leopard girl groaned with a yawn and then smiled as she softly looked Tooru up and down. It reminded her that she needed to thank Saito once again for her visibility bracelet.
Then Tooru went from seeing Aiko to seeing who was lying on her other side and found the owner of the exceptionally large pair of breasts she'd glossed over before. They belonged to Ryuko who was pulling Tooru's giant bunny plushie to her face to cover her eyes. Behind her was Pazuzu and Tooru gulped hard from seeing the couple naked together in her bed. Her eyes, admittedly, lingered a little more than she should have at the very naked, very male, werewolf now sitting upright on the far edge of her bed against the wall.
Another chorus of groans found Hanashita curling herself tight into a fetal ball to shield her eyes with her knees. Beside her was Koto who was using her hair as a shield for his eyes with one hand and reaching down to cover himself from view. Mai, on the other side of Hanashita, was as unabashed by her nudity as Pazuzu and simply stretched herself spread eagle for everyone to see before she sat upright in a cross-legged fashion. The display made Mina's eyes go even wider and she couldn't fight off the harsh magenta blush that had been growing on her cheeks. For her effort the quiet, practically mute girl brushed her short, pale violet colored hair back and then waved at the pinkette. Next to her, Hanegawa sat up and began feeling around for his glasses, managed to grope Saito lying next to him and took his glasses from her when she handed them to him. Saito was unaffected by the accidental boob grab and blinked hard as she stared up at the ceiling as she forced herself awake before sitting up and then slumping into the wereleopard. He had to fight off his own blush and nervously pushed his glasses up onto the bridge of his nose which made his silver colored eyes stand out against his short amber hair.
To add to the awkwardness, the balcony doors opened and Mutekabe casually strode in, tall and nude, holding a glass of tea like nothing was going on. The tiger girl gently dipped her head to Mina and then turned to Tooru and the invisible girl watched the mischievous smirk cross her lips knowing that she was very much going to get her in trouble with the pinkette. But, of course, it was all in good fun. For Taiga at least.
"So last night was very exciting, Tooru. A warning of how wild you can be would have sufficed but I do say I look forward to another little adventure," she teased. Her inflection came out with such grace, elegance, and innocence that it was like hearing Momo talk.
Now that Tooru thought about it, Mutekabe and Momo were very much alike.
"Sweetie," Mina said, smiling but in a very dangerous tone. "You're going to tell me everything but right now, please get dressed. We have to go."
"Go where," Tooru asked innocently, now that she was wide awake.
"The hospital."
Suri's eyes fluttered open again. Once again, there was a large halo of white light that diffused her vision and made it cloudy at first. When her vision refocused after what seemed like more time than it should have taken, she finally began to focus in on the dots in the ceiling panels. It had been a while so she wasn't as grumpy about looking up at the ceiling of a hospital room as she had been in the past. Because looking up right now meant something.
Something important.
She'd won.
She beat Gemini!
And the icing on the cake was the fact that she woke up without handcuffs this time. Not that that was really icing on the cake, it was just a sour memory from her last tenure in a hospital bed. A bed that was starting to turn uncomfortable so, with a grunt of exertion, she sat herself up and rolled her neck, letting the slow pleasant burn of stretching her muscles sooth her. Now that she was upright, she was able to see across the room and found out she was currently alone. It made her frown, knowing she was the only one here and she sighed all the same as she started moving around. With another grunt she rolled her hips to swing her legs over the side of the bed and sat on its edge while she tested the strength in her legs and was immediately soothed by the touch of the cold floor against the bottoms of her bare feet.
"Atiena, you still in there," she said quietly to herself, closing her eyes and finding the mind forest still intact after its partial disappearance from the night before. The fact that she could vividly remember last night was a small shock to her, not having to wait on Atiena's memories filling in the blanks.
"I'm here," the beast answered and chuckled softly. "I'm still quite exhausted after last night."
"Right?" Suri laughed and, as if to prove her other side's point, yawned softly. "Last night was… well shit it was a little scary there for a bit."
"Yes it was," Atiena answered back. "But we survived, without much damage either."
"For real?" Suri asked in shock and scrambled to pull her hospital scrubs down to look at where Gemini had punched a hole through her. All that was left was a ring around where the hole had been, made of a line of raised flesh that was slightly lighter than her dark bronze complexion. It was an injury made from the claws of another wereanimal, it should have been a lot worse and Suri mentioned as much. "How the fuck did we heal that?"
"That's a good question," Atiena shrugged her big shoulders and smirked.
Suri slumped back onto the bed, putting her hands behind her for support as she leaned and took in a deep breath. She let it out in a big puff before she curiously breathed in again because she'd caught something in her scent. No, more than that. She caught a lot of scents. She breathed in again, this time lifting her nose and focusing her sense of smell as she took in a big breath of air.
Her sense of smell had become stronger.
Moreover she was able to quickly pick out a dozen scents without much effort at all. Scents that were extremely important to her and it drove her to quickly drop onto the floor and rush for the door out into the hallway of the bustling hospital. She had a few in particular that she needed to see right away, actually all of them she needed to see right away. She focused on the closest first and barrelled around a corner, through a waiting room, and into a room that was in the Intensive Care Unit.
"Ketsuiki, Yumei, I'm so glad you guys are safe," Suri said excitedly as she all but barrelled into the both of them and wrapped her arms tight around her teammates.
She choked up and fought off tears that she hadn't known she was holding back as she buried her face into their shoulders and gripped the backs of their shirts tightly. She quickly pulled back and looked both of them over, noting that while their team leader was still partially in his hero costume, their team manager was in an oversized hospital scrub shirt. That made her quickly inspect the snake girl where she eventually found bandages around her left arm and in several spots along her tail and lower half.
"YuYu, you're hurt," Suri gasped and then quickly looked up to her friend with fear and worry in her eyes.
"I'm okay, really," Yumei smiled and held up her hands to try and calm the beast girl down. "The one on the end of my tail is the worst of it. Everything else is just, like, scratches is all."
"Our girl here, did mighty fine," Hellfire spoke, his southern drawl making Suri smile wide as she looked up to find him relaxing by the window. He was casually leaning against the wall, still in his own hero costume, and she watched him let out his own big sigh of relief. "Last of the bad guys attacking home base tried to get a cheap shot on Jomo and Yumei stepped in. Trust me, you should see what she did to him," the smooth tempered hellspawn chuckled.
"M-Mild poisoning, a-and umm t-two broken ribs," Yumei answered, unable to hide the blush as she shyly reported on what Hellfire was referring to. "He tried to stab Lady DreamWeaver with a blade his Quirk could produce. I umm… s-subdued him… and got cut a couple times."
"Atta girl," Suri grinned wide and playfully gave the snake girl an encouraging smack on her ass. Her smile soon faded though as she turned back to Hellfire and saw him watching three of the four beds in the room with worry rich in his emerald eyes. "How are they?"
"I will live," DreamWeaver spoke softly and used one of right arms to peel back the curtain next to her bed so that she could be seen. "Lotigre and I exhausted ourselves immensely trying to keep the attackers at bay. I've already received treatment from Recovery Girl so my injuries will be gone fairly soon. We were very fortunate that she's on call here."
"I agree," Libra added, pulling back his own curtain and revealing himself to be in the bed closest to the door. "If not for her, I'd be reduced to having to use a crutch for the rest of my life. Externally, that wouldn't have been too bad. Not with how messed up my internals were."
"How did you even know to come looking for us where you did? The children and I must have barely missed you when we escaped," Natsukage asked curiously.
"I followed Gemini after she beat Alexie. I was in pretty bad shape so I don't think she even cared that I was still alive. I got lost for a minute inside the compound but… well I followed the light," he shrugged.
"Yeah," Hellfire chuckled."There was a crazy flash of magic there, I felt it all the way in the Styx."
"The what?" the three teens asked curiously.
"The Styx," Hellfire clarified with a surprised smirk because even he hadn't believed where he'd gotten teleported. "Crazy ass sorcerer sent me to the river of the dead and managed to get his dumb self pulled in. I managed to get back to the land of the living through a magic circle in the Lust Realm."
"Lust Realm?" The three teens exclaimed, their voices filled with shock.
"Uh yeah," Hellfire answered nonchalantly, pursing his lips and brow like he was confused at what he'd said. "Ya know, where my great great uncle Asmodeus resides?"
"You got sent… to hell?" Suri asked, her eyes widening as she stared at the hellspawn hero. Then she realized she was talking to a devil creature and she let herself sit back. "Oh… So the dude thought he was sending you somewhere scary and just, like, sent you home?"
"Right?" Hellfire laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "But that's why I didn't know where I was at first cause I haven't been down there for somethin' like a hundred years or so. I'm just glad I got back here in time to help Alexie."
Suri watched the hellspawn go from happy and casual back to worried and cautious again, staring intently at the last bed on the left. The beast girl looked at both of her teammates and then to the three heroes of Alpha Squad that were awake. With a soft look of permission from everyone she finally went to the back of the room and couldn't hold back the tears as she came to see who the heroes were looking at.
On the bed was Kodiak, still unconscious with a breathing apparatus over his nose and mouth. His head was wrapped in bandages, especially heavy around his forehead and over his right eye. Suri could see dark stains seeping through on them which meant they needed to be replaced soon or he'd succumb to infection. And he could get infected now because Suri and Atiena couldn't sense a single trace of that overwhelmingly powerful energy he'd once had. His beast, his big lovable bear form, was gone. Whatsmore, his left arm had been reduced to just below the shoulder where there lay a stub that was heavily packed and bandaged. The person lying in the bed was no longer Kodiak, Russia's number one hero, the Bratva Brawler, and the world's strongest werebear, he was now simply Alexie Novikov.
"Has his family come by or his clan?" Suri asked softly as she looked over the kind hearted heavily tattooed man, remembering the tattoos on his abdomen he'd gotten for his wives.
"Nascha and Anastacia are on their way now. I called them and his momma once he was out of surgery. She'll be on the first flight she can get out of Moscow," Alester answered.
"Momma Bear will surely put us back here," Jomoguro said, trying to force a smile and a small laugh as she watched their team leader sleeping so peacefully it seemed.
"I-Is she really that scary?" Yumei asked cautiously.
"If you get on her bad side, just like any mother," Libra answered. "She's going to scold us for not being a more efficient team and getting her baby boy injured. But… then she'll probably take us home and cook us a wonderful meal because we at least brought him back alive."
"Yeah," Alester smiled and watched his best friend lying in the bed next to him. "I could really go for some of her cooking right now. Makes me wanna check in with my ma too."
"I think I should check in with my family too," Suri nodded and forced a smile as she brought a hand up to smear tears away from her cheek.
"Me too," Yumei added with her own nod as she sadly watched the man that had taken her in and given her a chance.
"I think I should as well," Natsukage nodded.
The three teens turned together and began leaving for the door when a string of webbing prevented Natsukage from opening the door. They turned to see the thin line of tensile silk trailing back to Jomoguro who closed her eyes and took in a deep breath as she calmed herself down enough to speak to the young heroes.
"Before you leave, please accept our gratitude. Without your efforts, last night would not have been a success. I know it doesn't feel like a win with how much we sacrificed but please count it as one that was hard fought," the spider woman spoke softly in reverence. "From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of this agency and helping in the capture of a dangerous villain and a multitude of those helping her. I… Yumei, you were amazing and showed so much potential last night even in the face of adversity. I cannot thank you enough for helping me and Lotigre and keeping the mission on track even when it wasn't your responsibility. I sincerely hope that you pass your entrance exams into UA because you can be so much more than just a team manager if you're given the chance. You could be a wonderful heroine."
"Thank you, La-"
"Please, Jomogoro will suffice," she interrupted with a soft giggle and smile.
"Oh! T-Thank you, J-Jomogoro."
"Ketsuiki, I applaud your efforts for keeping calm under pressure and proceeding with the mission even when everything went off the rails. You have so much to offer when it comes to leadership and keeping a cool head and I know you are going to be a wonderful hero as you continue to grow. I know it's not an easy decision to choose between a friend and strangers but, because of your efforts, those kids are safe. They're going home to their families because of you and I hope you know how proud you've made us."
"Thank you, Jomogoro, ma'am," Natsukage said evenly and bowed his head in respect.
"And Suri. Where do I even begin," the spider woman smiled and sighed. "Your actions earlier yesterday were extremely reckless, I think we can all agree on that. Yes?"
"Yes, ma'am," Suri said quietly, forcing a careful pained smile. She knew she had every reason to be scolded right now.
"I believe you have a super move that you call Queen's Gambit if I remember correctly and that sums you up quite perfectly, does it not?"
Suri blushed and looked away with an embarrassed smile, but nodded her response to the older heroine. It made everyone in the room smile softly since it was one of the very few times Suri wasn't a cocky little bastard.
"You gamble and take risks with much of what you do, and truly you are very reckless. But you being reckless is more about your personality than things that can be quantified and measured if I must say so myself. I find it… endearing" DreamWeaver's gaze went from stern and motherly to soft and relaxed then. "You remind us so much of a younger Alexie and I don't need to tell you what kind of potential that offers to you as a hero and as a person. Suri, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your efforts last night. Gemini would be out on the wind if not for you because you chose to sacrifice yourself to save others and even in the face of adversity, you chose to be strong. You saved the lives of those children, your comrades, and countless others when you stepped up. We are all extremely proud of you young lady."
"Thank you, Jomogoro," Suri smiled, her lips pursing and curling under themselves as she tried not to break down and bawl. In that instance, they were no longer bosses, they were friends. She looked around from Jomogoru, to Masato, to Alester, and then finally to where Alexie lay before taking in a deep shuddering breath. "You'll let us know when he wakes up, right?"
"Of course," Masato nodded. "We'll call you when he's ready."
"Now go run along, kiddos," Alester nodded towards the door. "I reckon it's safe to say y'all have the rest of the day off."
"Thank you, sir," the three teens nodded in unison to Hellfire before pulling the door open and making their way into the hallway and back towards the hallway where Suri's room was.
As they walked along, Suri took in a deep breath, fighting back the remainder of the need to cry, and flexed her hands nervously. She was happy that they'd succeeded and that they'd caught the crazed werehyena but the situation regarding Kodiak's health sat heavy on her conscience. Even though she knew what had happened to him hadn't even remotely been her fault or involved her at all. She took another deep breath and began running again, this time because she caught the scent of people she especially needed to see. She was already smiling wide and on the verge of happy tears again when she came around the corner to where her room was and bowled over the two girls about to open her door.
"Suri!" Both Mina and Tooru exclaimed happily as they were swallowed into her arms.
Suri squeezed both of them tightly, burying her face into the necks and shoulders as she cradled her girlfriends to her. Her hands dug her fingers into their hair, cupping the back of their heads possessively as she began to sob and sniffle against them. For their efforts, Mina and Tooru clung tight to Suri, fighting off their own tears as their fists crumpled and held tight to the back of the beast girl's scrubs.
"I'm so sorry I didn't call or text when I woke up," Suri apologized profusely as she held her girlfriends to her. "I meant to text as soon as I could but I had to check on the other heroes and I had to make sure my team was safe. And I was going to text as soon as we got debriefed and shit I dunno if we've even been debriefed yet. But I know I had Yumei text last night after we were done and I didn't even thank her for that. Really, I'm so so sorry, I should have-"
Suri would have kept going, could have kept going in her frantic display. She had because she hadn't even registered that either girl had been trying to get her attention the entire time. She could have kept going if Tooru hadn't done what she did and grabbed Suri by the back of the head and slammed her mouth against her girlfriend's. The beast girl instantly stopped talking and all but melted into Tooru's embrace, whining and grunting loudly against the invisible girl's lips as they kissed fiercely and unapologetically. And she remained silent other than the soft noises of love and adoration because, once Tooru pulled back, Suri was pulled directly into another ferocious kiss with Mina. She could have sworn she heard Mina whisper something about being her turn or Suri being hers but that thought went out the window as was replaced with the feverish need to return Mina's kiss.
The three girls were left panting and barely able to breathe, let alone having to ignore the small trails of saliva that had trailed from Tooru's lips to Suri's and from Mina's lips to Suri's. The pair of kisses were feverish, unrelenting, wild, and were more than enough to replace the words Suri had thought to say. Because it had been much better than simply saying fuck, I missed the two of you. As they settled down, still holding each other in a tight, claustrophobic triangle, Suri pulled back so that she could look at the two of them. Truly look at her girlfriends without being frantic and rushed.
"We were so worried about you," Mina said softly. "On our way here we started hearing news reports about what happened at your agency. We were scared but we knew you were safe so that was a relief."
"Seriously, thank you so much Yumei for keeping in touch," Tooru said, leaning around Suri's shoulder so that she could see the snake girl. "And thank you for last night. Talking to you may have been the only reason I got any sleep."
"I don't think that's the only reason," Mina said, narrowing her eyes at Tooru.
"Umm what happened?" Suri asked, her brow cocking as she watched the curious look Mina was giving Tooru. "What did I miss?"
Tooru gave a nervous laugh and looked away shyly. The lack of answer made both Suri and Yumei begin to worry, and made Mina's smirk only grow wider.
"Baby, what happened?" Suri asked carefully, watching Tooru's reactions closely.
"Umm, would you believe me if I said nothing happened?" Tooru asked innocently and tried to force a playful giggle that died within a second of her trying.
"No," Suri, Mina, Yumei, and Natsukage answered all at once, making the girl slump a little.
Before she could grill Tooru more on what had happened, Suri's nose was hit with another group of scents. It made her quickly turn back towards another wing of the hospital and start walking with an eagerness in her step.
"Suri?" Tooru questioned. The tone in her voice made it seem like she was in a lot more trouble than she actually was.
"Have you two checked on our Izuku yet?" Suri asked as her girlfriends quickly started following behind her.
"No, we wanted to check on you first. We didn't think he was able to have visitors yet cause he came in just before we got here," Mina answered quickly as she jogged to catch up and take Suri's right hand.
"Chako texted and said she was gonna come find us once she was cleared too," Tooru added as she flanked Suri's left side and took her hand..
"You umm don't mind if we tag along, do you?" Yumei asked as she slithered close behind the threesome. Coincidentally, Natsukage was walking beside her and shrugged when Suri looked back over her shoulder towards them.
"Not at all," Suri smiled and took a deep breath. "I'm sure everyone will be happy to see you again and our fearless leader here can officially meet our reckless ass boyfriend."
The four girls of the group giggled and laughed as they all happily plowed forward through the hallways of the hospital. The dhampir with them shrugged and let out a long sigh of exasperation as he took stock in what the four girls and apparently the three of the fours boyfriend entailed. He realized he was walking with and conversing with the epitome of chaos. Another reason he seemed intrigued to go with them? He wanted to find out just what the invisible girl had done that seemed to make the other girls scared or upset. He knew it had to be something that had to do with Suri's remote land rites ritual that happened last night. Just what had the invisible girl gotten herself into?
"Izuku!"
Natsukage had his thoughts shaken from him as he looked up again and saw the three girls plow into an unsuspecting boy. It became apparent that the group very much enjoyed almost knocking each other over from the force and severity of their displays of affection.
Yumei for her part was shyly sitting near the group, giggling as she watched Suri, Mina, and Tooru clamp down onto Izuku. Then she couldn't fight off the blush that covered her cheeks when Suri grabbed her and pulled her into the group to hug Izuku tight. Izuku's blush matched the same red hue that the snake girl had because one, he had been suddenly found by his girlfriends and two, now he had four girls hugging him one of which was tall enough his face was buried into her chest.
"Gods, you got reckless again, didn't you," Suri said with a smirk as she held herself back from the greenette so she could look him over properly. His arms were beat up again, which made all three girls frown and look at each other nervously, and his hero costume was in absolute disarray and torn to pieces. Not that Suri's costume had fared much better. "Are you hurting at all, Izu?"
"No, I'm okay," he answered and threw on a smile. "What about you? Where's your costume?"
"It's umm… I might need a new one I think," Suri answered and scratched the back of her head nervously. "I don't think it's built for my classic beast form."
"Your classic… wait… you had to take on that form again? What happened?" Mina screeched.
The realization hit all three of her lovers at once and they turned to stare at her with horror and disbelief. It hadn't occurred to Mina and Tooru why she wouldn't have her hero costume and had been reduced to wearing hospital scrubs other than the fact she was in a hospital. Seeing Izuku in his costume, even though it was shredded, made the weight of the situation heavier in the girl's minds.
"I won," Suri said simply with a smile, like it was nothing at all.
Before anyone could ask or react to anything more, the elevator that Izuku and Mr. Aizawa had been waiting for dinged and their teacher turned to his other students and shot them a somber look. Something had happened on Izuku's mission and he wasn't comfortable expressing details of it around them.
That was a bad sign.
"I heard the reports of what happened last night," Mr. Aizawa said as he stepped into the elevator and waited for Izuku to follow him. "You were in a tough situation but you stuck it out and prevailed. Even with everything that went wrong, the mission was still a success and you were able to capture Gemini in the process. You should go home and get some rest."
The sudden praise from their teacher through Suri through a loop and she wasn't sure how to react. She hadn't even realized that Izuku had quickly pecked her cheek with a kiss before he got into the elevator. She held her cheek as she felt the ghostly warmth left there from his lips and stared wide eyed up at their teacher as the elevator doors began to close.
"Good job, Wild Eyes."
And with that the doors closed and her teacher and boyfriend disappeared. She was so stunned and shell shocked from the praise that she stood there in a daze for another minute or two. Even while the girls tried to shake her out of her stunned daze.
Yeah, something very bad happened on their mission.

"Just turn it off," Suri sighed as she watched Mineta click through the dozenth news station in the last thirty seconds. It was bad enough all of the news reports had been the same thing over and over, it didn't need the ADHD like flipping through channels that was happening. "Maybe we should take a hint from Bakugou and Todoroki and just hit the sack."
"Or we could talk about Hagakure having an orgy in her room while you and Midoriya were off doing hero work," Mineta chuckled as he turned to look at the invisible girl. "Like I know you guys are poly-whatever but that's gotta sting, right?"
"We did not have an orgy," Tooru snarled and threw a pillow at the boy harder than she realized. She managed to hit him right square in the balls and sent him squealing and rolling on the floor clutching himself tightly.
"Yeah, but you gotta admit, it didn't help your case at all when a bunch of naked people came walking out of your room," Kaminari laughed, watching his friend roll around on the ground. "I saw a couple of em' and well… you do have pretty good taste if you ask me."
"While I have been lenient with your activities, I must say, would it kill you to stop being so lewd?" Iida complained.
"Remind me again what she sees in him?" Mina casually sighed as she leaned herself into Suri's shoulder.
"Who?" Izuku asked as he helped Tooru back into the spot she had been laying in with her head in his lap.
"Taiga," Suri shrugged and laid her head back on the couch in the common room. She didn't even bother to adjust her volume as she spoke in hopes that it would send the tall robot boy into a panic. Truthfully, Iida was more fun to be around when he wasn't so uptight and teasing him seemed to help. "Apparently she thinks Iida's hot and wants to jump his bones."
"Excuse me? Mutekabe what?" Iida screeched and looked horrified for a long moment as he tried to process whatever was going on in his mind.
"Oooo, you already know her name," Tooru teased in a sing-song voice and began giggling.
"Of course I do! I reprimanded her yesterday morning when she and the others came down from upstairs. Yaoyorozu was kind enough to create spare tracksuits for everyone to wear back to their dormitories and she came down in a bathrobe. A bathrobe," he explained, vigorously doing his chopping motions. "It was hardly appropriate but she promised me that she would wear something more appropriate next time."
"Next time huh?" Suri smirked and rolled her eyes.
"Hey Iida, so, like, how long were you talking to her?" Mina asked, prodding for more juicy gossip fuel.
"Several minutes."
"And what was she doing the whole time?" Tooru asked next.
"I fear I may have intimidated her and I apologized for such, because she was having a hard time standing in one place. Also she was completely too distracted to tie her robe properly and it came undone several times even though she was looking down at it almost the entire time of our conversation," he huffed.
Looking at his girlfriends he realized what was going on and Izuku seemed to think about what Iida was saying. Then his shoulders slumped and he rolled his eyes. He thanked the gods that he had come a long way since being even more dense than Iida was at that moment.
"H-Hey Iida, what were you wearing at the time?" Izuku asked, surprising the girls that he was joining in on the conversation. Unsurprisingly Iida actually took the question seriously.
"Why my tracksuit of course. I had been out for my morning jog that I normally do and since we didn't have classes yesterday morning I had done some extra laps for more training."
Iida's tracksuit. The skin tight white and navy blue compression suit.
"Anything else that seemed peculiar?" Tooru asked with a wide grin.
"Why yes, now that you mention it. She was doing something with her lips. She must have had an itch because she kept biting at the corners so she didn't have to use her hands."
Even at this point practically everyone was staring at Iida with the most dumbfounded or deadpan of faces. He was digging himself into a grave further and further the longer he talked. Granted it was fantastic entertainment since the TV had been nothing but repeat news reports.
"Should we tell him?" Izuku sighed and shook his head.
"Tell me what?" Iida paused and finally looked at everyone and how they were looking at him. He then furrowed his brow and looked down at the foursome cuddled on the couch. "What is so funny, Ashido?"
"Umm, dude," Kaminari snickered from the couch to the side of them. "How do you not get it?"
"Get what? Mutekabe seems like a very fine woman, if not a little nervous and misplaces her modesty at times. But that's why I offered my help to tie her robe for her, though I think I may have tied it a little too tight. She seemed upset by the knot I used. But I assure you, I do have plans to meet with her soon. She seems interested in developing a friendship."
"Dude, she doesn't want friendship," Sero snickered and then began laughing hysterically.
"She doesn't? But she said…"
"Iida, honey," Mina sighed and shook her head with a big grin. "You're a sweet guy but you really gotta learn to take some hints."
"I appreciate that, Ashido, but what hints?"
"Iida, I'm going to put this as simply as I possibly can," Suri said and rolled herself on the couch so that she could face him with her chest pressed to the back of the couch. "Taiga wants you, like, wants you."
Iida still furrowed his brow, clearly still not putting everything together.
"Tenya," Suri grumbled and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Taiga Mutekabe was presenting herself to you, she was wanting you to see her naked. She was showing off for you to admire her, take it all in, enjoy what you were seeing. She wasn't looking down at her robe, she was looking at you," Suri motioned broadly up and down Iida's body while making a little more emphasis around his crotch. "Her fidgeting? She wasn't nervous or scared of you, she was really really in the mood. She wasn't wanting you to tie the robe up, she wanted the opposite. She wanted… Ugh! Like, okay, when I see Izuku or Mina naked, or when Tooru puts on some sexy lingerie, what do you think I want to do to them? Because trust me I know you've probably heard what happens after that."
"Well yes, of course! You… want to…"
"Mhmm."
"She wants…"
"Mhmmmm!"
"That's…"
Iida trailed off then and just stared at the wall behind the TV like he'd seen a ghost or something. There was a long moment where he stood frozen and silent and everyone physically watched as the gears in his head clicked and then began to turn slowly. It was that physical moment of realization after processing raw information and then trying to decide what exactly to do with it. What he did with it was straighten himself up, adjust his school uniform neatly and then push his glasses up onto the bridge of his nose firmly. He looked extremely focused and resolved for some reason but it was still a very Iida reaction as a whole.
"Please excuse me, I must be getting off to bed now. Goodnight everyone," he said stiffly and then turned to bow respectfully to everyone in the class and started for the stairs to the boys side of the dorms.
There was another long moment of silence as they watched the speedster walk slowly up the stairs and then the silence began to linger awkwardly around the room. Suri broke the silence by snickering and then collapsing into the couch and beginning to laugh hysterically at the entire situation. It was a well needed laugh as everyone began to join in.
"So, I gotta ask," Sero spoke up after a long while of warm laughter and scratched the back of his head nervously as he looked at the foursome on the couch. "Who were they anyway? I know they're other UA students but… I guess what were they doing in your room, Hagakure?"
"Yeah, you never did answer what happened," Suri said, looking at the invisible girl curiously.
"Okay okay," Tooru sighed and sat up from where she was laying in Izuku's lap and began fidgeting with her hands nervously in her own lap. "So everyone knows that I wasn't exactly doing the greatest when Suri had to run off. It was pretty obvious."
Everyone nodded and acknowledged Tooru's answer in unison. Knowing that and seeing everyone's reactions made Suri feel a pang of guilt in her stomach.
"I sent Izuku and Mina to bed cause I didn't want to make Izuku lose sleep over him worrying about me and then I… sorta snuck out."
That answer seemed to shock everyone except for Mina.
"You went to go see the ritual," Suri sighed as she started to realize what had been going on more and more. "And you brought the coven and the pack back here?"
"I wanted to be helpful so I went to watch and ended up helping Saito do the candles and the blood stuff," Tooru admitted innocently.
"Blood stuff?" Mineta shivered and backed away to the far end of the other couch.
"Oh, so you helped do the six points. Well, that's not a big deal," Suri shrugged and nodded, thinking nothing of it other than her girlfriend being just that; helpful.
"Still, what's this about… blood," Momo asked in a soft, careful tone.
"So, when we first moved in here, I found my dad's old Place of Power he used when he went to UA and when he was in the early year or two of his career. I decided to claim it as my own so we can have Lupanars here and turn it into a power base of my own," Suri explained as openly and casually as she could. "I've made friends with a coven of witches and other shifters here on campus thanks to Tokoyami and Yanagi and, for it to become my Place of Power, we had to do a land rites ritual."
"It sounds intriguing but I still don't understand the need for blood," Momo nodded as she thought about everything Suri was explaining.
"To bind a piece of land to my power and turn it into a home base for my clan it has to be consecrated using my blood. My blood is what carries my lycanthropy and my personal magic so I combine my blood with the power that's in the earth and voilà, giant magical battery for me and my friends. The catch is that the ritual has to be done on the full moon, which was the night before last while I was out on my big mission," Suri continued on, still watching Tooru curiously because she knew she was still missing something important. "Normally I'd have to be there in person but Hanashita figured out how to do the incantation for me remotely. What did they do anyway, babe?"
"Oh! Uh Mutekabe brought a giant candle that was… umm… carved to look like you. Sort of like your idols of Angrboda and Azunaihara."
"Oh. Well that's kinda badass," Suri chuckled. "How'd it look?"
"Perfect," Tooru answered shyly.
"That does sound cool, I wanna see," Mina perked up happily.
"That still doesn't explain the orgy in your room," Mineta piped in, shrugging and folding his arms tightly as he earned vicious glares from everyone.
"There was a problem," Tooru sighed and admitted finally.
"What problem?" Suri chuckled and shook her head in confusion.
"The ritual substitutes you physically for an idol of you. It's just like when you pray at the altar in your room but it's you instead of the statues," Tooru said quietly.
"Right. I pray and then I make an off… ering," the realization hit Suri like a ton of bricks and her eyes went wide before she slowly turned her head towards Tooru. "Oh gods…"
"What? What's wrong?" Izuku sat forward, realizing something had gone off the rails.
"I never told you to bring the choker… did I?" Suri trailed off in horror and realization.
"Choker?" Mina asked curiously, her brows furrowing in confusion.
"I have an obsidian and elk bone choker that's been passed through my dad's family for hundreds of years. Mom brought it from Salt Lake when they came and I was going to use that as the offering but I… oh fuck," Suri paused and took a deep breath as she gave her invisible girlfriend a very serious look. "Baby Girl, what… did you do?"
"Umm," Tooru stuttered, looking a little lost from what Suri could see before her expression flipped to being happy and aloof. "Nothing that would get me in trouble one bit."
Tooru," Suri, Izuku, and Mina said carefully, narrowing their eyes at her.
Everyone else on the other hand just watched on as the three ganged up on Tooru. In truth, with Tooru's behavior and dodging of the question, they all knew she'd probably done something dumb. They were just an audience, happily watching everything unfold with suspense.
"Okay! Okay," Tooru screeched nervously and then corrected her tone to something more normal, if not a little nervous. "I umm… since we didn't have the offering and there wasn't time to run back to your room to grab the choker… not that I would have known to grab that… I umm… I may have sort of grabbed the knife you used to oath everyone to you, said a few words and, uh maybe probably just so happen to use a teeny tiny drop or few of my blood."
Suri stared wide eyed and dumbfounded at Tooru who nervously laughed and forced herself to look away from her girlfriend. Mostly because Suri was starting to look terrified at what Tooru had just said and the invisible girl could see all of the gears moving inside her head as she processed the information. Information that may or may not have had some sort of supernatural or some sort of magical ramifications. Tooru had forced herself not to think of the consequences, not at the time of her rash decision and not ever since.
"You idiot," Suri groaned and slapped her own face before looking at Tooru with pleading eyes and a frantic tone. "You! Why would you do that? What made you think that was a good idea? I thought I told you what… fuck… did you get yourself checked? Have you felt any different since the other night? And dammit what the hell happened after the ritual? Why didn't they stop you?"
"Ryuko told me not to and Pazuzu held me back for a second but when I pleaded with them that you needed my help… he let me go," Tooru answered shyly, not facing anyone in the room as she confessed to what she'd done. "I… didn't want to lose you and I thought that I could… well needed to help you. No, I haven't gotten checked. No, I haven't felt any different. I used the blade, offered myself and then poof, next thing I knew I was waking up and all of the witches and shifters were in my room. Kind of like the cuddle puddles you told us about."
"I want in on this cuddle puddle next time," Mineta chuckled from the other couch.
His smile faded fast when Suri turned to him and gave him a most vicious look and let her throat fill with a predatory, low rumbling growl. When she'd wiped the smile off his face, she turned back to Tooru and couldn't help but soften as she watched the girl's features.
"To-"
"I didn't want you to end up like Kodiak, or be the thirteenth person that died that night. You know my gut feelings. I couldn't shake my fear and I'm sorry that I didn't ask you beforehand but I should have. I should have been there with the coven and the other shifters. I should have gone first because you've said it yourself, Suri. I am yours," Tooru cut off Suri before she could speak and confessed herself more and more until she was almost in tears staring down at the floor in front of her. "I didn't want to be useless to you."
Tooru jumped in surprise and then quickly settled because Izuku had been the first to move. He scooted himself down the couch and put his left leg around Tooru so that he sat behind her completely and then laid himself into her. Tooru shivered as he hugged her from behind tightly and pressed his forehead into the back of her head so she could feel his soft breathing against the back of her neck. The intimate gesture made her shiver and swoon from being held and feeling her boyfriend pressed tight against her.
"I get it, Tooru," Izuku said softly. "I get wanting to help and feeling like you were able to do something that was for the better. Before my Quirk manifested I dreamed of being able to help people and wanting to be helpful to people who were in trouble. I get feeling useless but I promise, you are not useless and never have been."
"Especially to us," Suri continued as she slid off the couch and came to kneel in front of Tooru and Izuku, looking up into Tooru's eyes. "I know you think the world of what we can do and you feel like you're being left behind but I promise you; you're not. You are not useless to me, to Izuku, to Mina, to any of us."
"We've been through everything together," Mina said as she came to half sit, half kneel on the couch beside Tooru and laid her head onto the invisible girl's shoulder. "I know better than anyone how much you've struggled with your own Quirk and trying to figure out what you can do. I've watched you for years to try and be more visible than anyone else and I've been by your side when you've cried yourself to sleep because of your invisibility. You're so worried about making yourself seen and forget that, to us, we see you the most."
"Baby, I'm not upset that you were trying to help," Suri admitted and then gave Tooru a very concerned look. "I'm upset and concerned because I don't know what door you might have opened up. Oathing isn't just some harmless blood brothers or sisters thing you do for fun when you're kids. It… When I was fighting Gemini and I was in mine and Atiena's full power, we weren't only feeling our own power. We felt everyone out hunting. I felt Pazuzu, Taiga, Nishijima, Mai, Koto, and Kanegawa in their beast forms. I felt the trees and the ground as they ran and went on their hunts. I could practically see the forest like I had been out running with them. I drew on their power to fight Gemini."
Tooru nodded slowly as she listened to Suri and let it all make sense to her. She listened carefully and realized what Suri meant when she said she drew on the other's power.
"I feel more magic more freely now that the coven is oathed to me. Like whatever magic they have and are surrounded by is now mine. Mine to do… I don't know," Suri admitted again, making it clear that she was just as new and just as naive about everything as Tooru was. "I know that when it comes to vampires, a human can become a vampire servant. For fae and shifters we have our powers, plus the possibility of a vampiric ability, depending on the master, and our natural lifespans are nullified. Dad knows a couple shifters that are something like fifteen hundred years old. For humans, you get the extended lifespan, the same possible abilities, but for sure you get stronger, faster, and harder to hurt. The servants are the vampire master's face and voice when they're dead for the day. For things like me… I don't know what it's going to do to you, Tooru, and that's why I'm scared. That's why I'm upset. I love you and appreciate that you wanted to help but… I don't want it to cost you your humanity."
"Is that truly a possibility?" Tokoyami asked.
"Honestly," Suri sighed and thought about an answer for a moment. "I don't know."
"That was super reckless Hagakure. But also pretty manly if you ask me," Kirishima shrugged, his eyes saying that he wasn't sure what to make of the situation. "I mean, I'm not really one to talk cause, ya know, but I'd probably do the same thing if it were me."
"If we're being honest, she's just as reckless as Kuroyashi, Midoriya, and Ashido. It makes sense why they're a pretty good polycule. Ribbit."
"By the way, who's Pazuzu? Such a weird name, right?" Kaminari chuckled, taking a little weight off the situation.
"I haven't really determined rank names yet like how the wolves do it, but he's my new second in command I think," Suri grinned, turning to face Kaminari. "He's a first year student from the support course. Tall, pretty skinny, personality reminds me of Kirishima in a way, piercings-"
"Oh him," Kaminari, Jirou, and Momo choked and all three looked away bashfully.
"Oh gods, what did he do?" Suri asked, cringing at whatever answer she was expecting.
"He umm," Kaminari chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head.
"He answered the door completely nude and then made some remarks to us," Momo answered, clearly flustered by what had happened.
"Yep, that'd be him," the foursome answered, all sighing and drooping their heads in unison.
Suri though turned back to ask Kaminari something and saw him still blushing and flustered. It was the same look Momo and Jirou had on their faces and it brought up several remarks about the situation and their demeanor. One she needed to talk to the shifters about not being so nudist happy - not that she was one to talk. Two, the thought of Denki, Kyoka, and Momo as a throuple was both intriguing and kind of adorable. And three, Kaminari was not having the reaction she thought he would to what they said about Pazuzu. Was he possibly bi? Maybe she'd ask Kaminari about it later.
"Your second in command, huh? That seems kinda messed up since Midoriya is right there and you've got Hagakure and Ashido on your side too," Ojiro rolled his eyes. For some reason, he was still one of the ones that was standoffish with Suri, even after everything she'd done to try and better her relationship with them.
"That is a good point," Ochako said softly, narrowing her eyes towards the ground like she was thinking about what the tailed teen had said. After a while she finally looked back up at Suri curiously, "why not have Deku?"
Suri took a deep breath and sighed heavily as she hung her head.
"Technically, that's why I'm skipping having an Ulfric or Hyo-Gu in the pack. Izuku is my king," Suri smiled softly as she looked up at him past Tooru. "He'd have that title in a heartbeat and Tooru and Mina would be my right and left hands faster than anything. But," Suri pursed her lips and gave her three lovers an apologetic and remorseful look. "They're not shifters and I don't plan on turning them just to give them titles in my pack. Everyone here is still a member of my pack but in order to grow a power base so that I can be strong enough to fight and protect all of you, I need other non-humans in my corner."
"I guess that does make sense," Ochako answered with a nod.
"Atiena and I talked it out a few nights ago. Shifters, vampires, and all of them, they're super old fashioned," Suri shrugged and explained. "Like, it's throwing some of the older clans off that a lot of shifters around my age want to break off and form their own groups. Granted you have people like Gemini that put a lot of concern on that idea but most of us… we just want to do our own thing and be able to call our own shots, ya know?"
Suri looked around the room, watching everyone either nod because they agreed with her or were looking like they were thinking about it. Out of everyone, Kirishima looked like he was nodding his head the most and looked like he was about to start throwing out hallelujahs like Suri was preaching a sermon. Knowing that he was with Ibara sort of made that idea all the more likely and feasible but no less silly.
"But if we want to be taken seriously then we have to have the support of others like us. I know it's kind of backwards in a way," Suri sighed and shrugged. "But, like I said, thanks to Tokoyami and Yanagi, I've been able to find and meet others like me here. Like, I have an honest to gods coven of witches backing me and we found out that there's at least six other shifters here at school besides me. It's kind of amazing."
"What I wanna know is how everyone ended up naked in Hagakure's room. I still don't believe something juicy wasn't going on," Mineta shrugged.
"So this Pazuzu guy. How do you know you can trust him or the other wereanimals? It seems kind of rushed don't you think?" Shoji asked evenly, ignoring Mineta all together. He did have a solid point.
"Easy," Suri grinned wide, happily bearing fangs. "Because I fought him and I kicked his ass."
"Hey, I kicked your ass just as much. Don't forget I about knocked you the fuck out," Pazuzu scoffed as he came in through the front door of the dorms and around the larger group. "And trust me, I'd be so down to tap Hagakure. But she said not til' after the first date."
"Pazuzu!" Tooru whined and grumbled, trying to hide the obvious blush on her face.
"But nah," the werewolf laughed heartily. "When we came back after our hunt you, Ryuko, Saito, and Chibi were out cold. Aiko was gonna bring you back here and bail but you woke up enough to tell us to just crash in your room. Said you knew how tired all of us must've been after running around in the woods."
"I did?" Tooru questioned, not realizing she'd answered any sort of conversation while she'd been asleep.
"Yup. So we all came here and we sorta accidentally got deer and rabbit blood on all of our clothes so I tossed them and we all passed the fuck out," Pazuzu explained nonchalantly without a care in the world. Koda flinched when he mentioned rabbit blood.
"So no sexy times?" Mineta grumbled. "Then why were you all naked?"
"Umm because we got blood on our clothes," Pazuzu narrowed his eyes and shook his head at the gremlin like he hadn't completely explained the situation. "Like, homie, you know how much of a bitch it is to get blood out of bedsheets and shit? Plus, us lycanthropes run hotter than normal and it's worse at night so we sleep naked anyway."
"Like, it's uncomfortable with even a light sheet until winter time," Suri groaned and then looked up to Pazuzu. "So what're you doing here tonight anyway?"
"Oh, shit, yeah. Figured I'd bring these to you so you can train with 'em a bit," the werewolf jumped a little, remembering what he had come for in the first place. He pulled his backpack off and fished inside it for a few seconds before pulling out the same box he'd had with him the other night. "Once you've gotten used to them and know which set you prefer, come down to the workshop and we'll determine how you wanna attach them to your new costume. Also, Hagakure, swing by sometime so Saito and I can run some diagnostics on your VisiRing and help you with all of the wavelength shit you were talking about a couple weeks ago."
"Sure thing," Tooru chirped happily. "Thanks a million, again. First thing tomorrow morning work for you?"
"Aiight, bet," the werewolf grinned and nodded.
"Fuck," Suri grumbled and rolled her head back with exasperation. "I forgot I needed a new suit."
"Another one?" Momo and several others asked at the same time.
"Yup. My hero costume and any form past partial beast don't mix," Suri sighed and held up her arms in an 'X' shape. "The material I've been using is stretchy enough that going into beastwoman form doesn't do any damage but going beast or classic fucks it all to hell."
"Classic? What does that mean again?" Izuku asked curiously and was already moving from his spot behind Tooru to find one of his notebooks.
"My newest form I've been able to take. I'm calling it Classic or Classic Beast cause it looks pretty much like the old drawings of werewolves or what you see in movies kinda thing," Suri happily explained and giggled lightly as her boyfriend went head first into geek mode.
"Ah! I get it," Kirishima chirped happily as the mental image clicked. "Like how you looked up on the mountain during the villain attacks?"
"That's the one," Suri nodded. "But the other night, it was a more complete and stronger version. Like, I dunno how to really explain it but, umm, you have me and Atiena, right?" Suri held up her hands, motioning her right hand or herself and her left for Atiena. "In my head we're like this, right? When we start sharing power and I start doing the subtle transformation or like going into beastwoman form it's like this," Suri continued. With that explanation she moved her hands together, placing her right hand in front of her left hand and then curled her left fingers over the tops of her right fingers. "Full beast form is completely her," she said, putting her right hand down and keeping her left hand up. "But this form, we're completely unified, like this," Suri grinned and put her palms together and laced her fingers together.
Everyone nodded as Suri explained the different stages and made it easy for them to understand how everything worked. Then all eyes turned to Izuku who was already deep into his own head, quietly muttering and talking to himself as he wrote and sketched in his notebook on Suri's dedicated pages. Suri happily smiled and giggled, relishing in how she enjoyed his little nerd out sessions. It made her happy and her heart fluttered as she watched him put so much effort into what he was passionate about. Pazuzu curiously watched the greenette as he entered the living area more and then crouched next to Suri and handed her the box with the prosthetic claw covers.
"Is he okay?" the werewolf asked cautiously.
"Yeah," his three girlfriends answered in unison.
"Anything hero or Quirk related he does this," Mina nodded towards Izuku.
"He's got more than a dozen of these notebooks that are just filled with notes that he's taken," Tooru continued.
"For our class alone he has at least two pages for each of us. Everything he knows about our Quirks or, ya know, lycanthropy, different uses, strengths, weaknesses, our costumes, supermoves, everything he can think of," Suri hummed softly as she continued to watch Izuku.
"Wow," Pazuzu chuckled, leaning up to look in the notebook. "That's everything he knows or thought of? Shit, he even sketched you?" Pazuzu turned his focus to Izuku, trying to listen to his muttering fest and keep up with it. A task no one could accomplish. It made Pazuzu chuckle and shake his head at Izuku. "I see why you'd want him as Ulfric. Give him a beast and he'd be fuckin' terrifying to have to challenge for title."
"Aww, is the little wolf scared?" Suri teased as she opened the box he'd handed to her and inspected the support items more carefully.
"Pssh, nah not even," Pazuzu scoffed and rolled his eyes. "I could take him."
"Good luck, Zuzu," Suri mocked him with a sing-song voice and sticking her tongue out at him. "I think it'd be fun as hell to watch though. Maybe we-"
Suri paused as her bra began vibrating and she looked down to see her phone peeking out from where she'd been storing it. The screen was bright and showed that she was getting a phone call from a number and contact that she recognized instantly. It was important so she quickly pulled it and held a finger up to silence everyone around her as she answered it.
"Hey, Ketsuiki, what's up?" Suri answered in a cheery tone.
"Hey Suri, I need you to meet me at the station in ten minutes," he replied in an even voice that held barely any emotion but had the slightest edge of panic present.
"Ten minutes? I can be there I guess but why?" Suri asked as her brows furrowed in confusion.
"It's Alexie."
Suri paled at those two words. Panic quickly set in and she quickly moved to bolt for the door of the dormitory. She said her goodbyes and laid a kiss on each of her lovers as fast as she could before she started running for the train station in front of UA. Those two words filled her with intense amounts of fear and dread, hoping that the worst case scenario wasn't about to happen. She hoped and prayed hard as she ran towards her meeting place with Rook that Kodiak, her mentor and boss, was not about to become the thirteenth casualty of their mission against Gemini and her child trafficking ring. Hoped that his two wives and their five children weren't about to lose their husband and father. Hoped that she wasn't going to lose her mentor like Izuku had lost Sir Nighteye. But most of all, hoped she wasn't about to lose someone she'd come to consider a close friend. With that she took one last shuddering breath and muttered her hope under her breath as she neared Rook under the UA entrance.
"Don't you fucking die on me, Papa Bear."
