Suri gets trapped in her own mind. Someone comes to the rescue. Will Suri beat De'Jon?
When Suri's eyes opened again, they were instantly filled with rage. There was no waiting to see where she was or seeing if the surface above her was another unfamiliar ceiling. No, this time her eyes opened and she let out a guttural scream of anger and frustration. Her tantrum included her rolling over onto her hands and knees, yelling and hollering into the grass and dirt beneath her while she pounded her fists against the earth in rage. She hissed and foamed at the mouth as her rage filled tirade went on for several long moments before she froze in place.
Her eyes went wide because her senses began firing on all cylinders as music began to play close by. It was something gothic and melodramatic but beautiful all the same. She would know because it happened to be one of her favorite songs, one that she always had played for herself on lonely evenings. But Wasp had another meaning to it because it was the same song that played during one of her late night fantasies of her and her boyfriend. To encapsulate that even more, her nose was flaring again and again because she could scent pine and cinnamon.
Quickly, Suri jumped up onto her feet and began running towards the sound of music and the scent of Izuku. She knew this was De'Jon's fantasy he'd implanted in her but she still rushed towards the trace of her boyfriend all the same. She passed through an archway created by the trees of her mind forest and stumbled into a large gothic ballroom lit with candles and ethereal Victorian chandeliers. She stumbled from the sudden change in footing, going from the natural grass covered earth to polished hardwood and had to catch herself from face planting. As she caught herself and regained her balance she realized that she was no longer in her jeans and halter top but now clad in a black knee length sleeveless dress and a pair of ruby red heels.
There was another long pause as she took in her satin evening dress and surroundings, her eyes glistening as she admired the gorgeous architecture and otherworldly glow the room had. It reminded her so much of the princess movies she watched and books she read as a kid and couldn't help but smile at it all. Hell, she could've sworn this was the same ballroom from Anastacia, the ballroom she'd dreamed of the most. And at that moment, she truly felt like a gothic princess.
"Y-You um… You look amazing."
Suri's smile only widened as she heard Izuku's voice and she spun around to find him standing behind her. Her eyes poured over him, soaking in the sight that this fantasy had laid out for her. The biggest hint that it was all a dream, if nothing else, was the fact that Izuku wasn't wearing his red sneakers. Those fuckers went everywhere with him and the brutal reminder that he wasn't really there in front of her made her smile falter. She still smiled because seeing him in a pair of form fitting black slacks, a slim forest green button down with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a matching black vest and tie was a wonder. He looked gorgeous. Like she knew he would with the right outfit and a good tailor.
Still, the black loafers, while nice, just seemed so… wrong on his feet.
"And you look like a dream," Suri finally replied with her sad smile.
"May I?" Izuku asked, holding out his hand as the music started up again.
Suri couldn't resist.
Fantasy or not, she couldn't turn him down, especially not when he was asking her to dance. She felt silly not being able to say no but ignored it all as she wrapped her arms around Dream Izuku and began to dance along to the slow, gothic ballad that filled the room. It was a slow dance which let Suri lay her head on Izuku's shoulder as they swayed and meandered around the wood floor. As good as the dance was, the fantasy of being able to slow dance with Izuku in this picturesque scene, there was no denying it. As close as De'Jon's fantasy had tried, it still hadn't gotten his scent right. It was close. So very close. But as much as she wanted to relish the dream, she just couldn't let it go on.
"Suri, are you okay?" Dream Izuku asked as he held Suri close while they made another slow circle together.
"Truthfully? No," Suri sighed, idly letting her right thumb make its own small circle against Izuku's left collarbone. "Once again, you're being used against me. I hate that all the vamps have to do is fling a shadow of you my way and I fold. Have I really fallen for you that hard?"
"I dunno. Maybe," Izuku said with a shrug. "I know I have."
Suri snickered softly at the answer and nuzzled her cheek against Izuku's shoulder.
"That's another way I know you're not real. You answered that way too smoothly," she replied, lifting her head off his shoulder and staring deep into his eyes. "Plus, you're missing a freckle right here."
Suri raised her hand and brushed his left cheek, poking at where a freckle should have been. Instead of the diamond shape his freckles normally made, the missing one turned the diamond into a triangle. It then suddenly appeared, completing his freckles, which made Suri furrow her brow and sigh deeply.
"Better?" Izuku asked.
"Nope. Cause you're still fake," Suri chuckled. "You're Izuku, but you're not my Izuku. My Izuku would tell me that I need to wake up and get my ass out of here."
"I'm guessing you're looking for Atiena," Izuku smirked softly.
"I figured she was still in here somewhere," Suri answered with a shrug.
Izuku then pointed towards a door not far from where the two had been dancing and gave Suri a small push forward. It made her smile that Izuku was so helpful, even if he was the fake, and that that part of his personality was still perfect. She gave him one final look over her shoulder before she marched forward towards the large red door and reached for the handle. Once she had a hold on it she turned to look back at Izuku who was already gone in a wisp of smoke and dust, the ballroom was crumbling in the same fashion behind her. With nowhere to go back to, Suri pushed forward, finding herself in a deep brick walled cavern lit only by small candles every few meters. It looked like a dungeon and made Suri shiver from how cold and dark it was. Even with her superb night vision, the dim lighting messed with her perception so it seemed to go deeper than it should have.
After a long few moments of walking down the dungeon hallway, her nose finally picked up a few familiar scents and she picked up the pace. She rushed to the end of the hall and through another archway where she found three figures chained to the center of the room. At the head of them was Atiena, naked, sweaty, and exhausted, covered in a slew of cuts and bruises like she'd taken a massive beating. That said, her expression was far from scared, she looked satisfied and, when Suri scented the room again, she realized why.
"Oh, hell no! Seriously?" Suri scoffed and shook her head, staring at her beast's human form incredulously. Her eyes then looked at the two women on either side of her and they went wider as she realized that the two of them were Aiko and Mai's beasts in their own human forms as well. They were just as bloodied, bruised, and coming down from a high just like Atiena was. "I have no idea what to say to you three right now."
"Say nothing then," came a thick, gravely voice that sounded way too familiar.
Out of the shadows of the room stepped a large creature walking on a pair of massive digitigrade legs and massive paws. Suri's eyes went wider looking up at the beastial wereleopard, in its classic form and shivered because she recognized the eyes and hair the beast had. Suri froze as she looked up at the seven foot tall, massively muscled figure of Izuku in a beastly leopard form and had to force herself to swallow the nervous lump in her throat.
"Okay," she breathed out slowly and then turned to look down at her other half. "Now I see why he said you were easy to tame."
"I'm not… easy to tame," Atiena said slowly, giggling like a giddy schoolgirl and flat out blushing furiously from the acts her and the two other beast women had undergone.
"Like, I knew you always wondered what it would be like if Izuku had gotten a beast, but this? This is just… wow," Suri snickered and shook her head. At the end of the day, could she fault her beast for having this fantasy? No. No, she could not. It also struck her as comforting that both of her personalities longed for Izuku, like the love they shared was just that much deeper. Though it was also infuriating that Izuku could be used against both of them. And speaking of both, "and what do you two have to say?"
"Mhmm," Mai's beast, who was an older and taller version of her human form - just as Atiena was to Suri - nodded simply. She had a drunk looking smile and Suri couldn't help but shake her head at the woman.
"I can see why you would make him king of our clan," Aiko's beast purred, going half lidded as she swayed back and forth.
"All of us are going to have a long talk about how you're all fantasizing about a leopard version of your queen's boyfriend. Like, okay, I can see the appeal. I've thought about it too and I mean this fantasy version of him," Suri paused, looking over the beastial form of Izuku once more, eyeing him up and down in great detail. She cleared her throat and tried to hide the fierce blush on her cheeks as she looked back at the three women once more. "Fuck. Okay, he's hot. But the real one is waiting for us and trust me, he's better in person than these fakes. They can replicate a lot, make us wish for a lot, but at the end of the day, this is just us getting mind fucked here."
"Oh that he did," Atiena snickered and sighed in a longing sort of way.
The answer from Atiena made Suri growl and rear back before slapping her beast half. Hard. She watched Atiena's head snap to the side with the force before her beast side began to blink rapidly and look around to take in her surroundings. When she spotted the other two beasts, Suri, and then a beast version of Izuku, she growled and looked back up at Suri.
"That hurt, asshole," Atiena sneered.
"You're welcome," Suri scoffed back with a grin. "Now let's get you out of this mess of De'Jon's."
"Ahh, I see you've found them," De'jon said as he entered the room and grinned, casually leaning himself back against the doorway. "I must applaud you, kitten."
"Get out of my head, asshole," Suri growled and turned her back on him.
Did she know if he was a fake as well? No. But she didn't have time to deal with him whether he was real or not. She eyed the chains on each woman and went to Aiko's other half first, feeling down the chains that kept her arms behind her back to where they met a loop. The loop had three chains all together, one set binding her arms, another binding her ankles, and then the final one that went to a thick horseshoe lock bolted into the stone floor. She grunted as she tested the strength of the chains, loop, and floor bolt before looking back up at an amused vampire on the other side of the room. The rage she felt as he grinned at her made her seething and she grabbed at the chains again, gripping them tight and beginning to pull at them.
De'Jon laughed while Suri struggled with the chains at first. He was amused watching Suri try to break the binds his vampire mind tricks had forged and that's what gave Suri more leeway. This was her mind. He was in her doman which meant he had to play by her rules and her rules said that his chains would not hold her back. She glared hatefully at the vampire, smirking as the humor in his face began to wither when she snapped Aiko's chains one by one.
"No."
"This is my world, bitch, not yours," Suri barked, a grin curling across her lips as Aiko's form disappeared from the room once she was freed before she began making short work of Mai's chains. "You're an idiot thinking you can use my mate and my friends as leverage."
Snap!
Mai's form disappeared next and the shock on De'Jon's face began to take hold. With her eyes trained on the vampire, she moved to Atiena and began to work at the chains. The metal creaked and cried with strain as Suri put every ounce of strength she had into the task at hand, pulling and stretching the thick metal loops that held her beast in place. The first set to snap was her wrist restraints, letting Atiena fall forward, hitting the floor flat with exhaustion. The next set of restraints took a little more effort to warp, stretch and break the loops open with her bare hands. They eventually gave out and shattered, falling to the floor in pieces. As the second set of chains broke, De'Jon panicked, balling his fists and angrily storming towards Suri.
"No! You will not break my hold," he screamed. "I demand you be submissive, as a good queen should be!"
"You don't know who you're dealing with then," the leopard Izuku growled as he came forward, putting himself between De'Jon and Suri and Atiena.
It made Suri's eyes go wide that even a creation of the vampire's powers was sentient enough to choose to disobey its creator. Or was that Suri's own mind influencing this beastly version of her boyfriend?
The vampire screamed in rage and slashed out at the Izuku clone, making the wereleopard disappear in ribbons of smoke and dust but by then it was already too late. De'Jon stormed forward through the smoke as Suri screamed and pulled at the chains binding Atiena to this dungeon of his creation. The creaking of chains whined throughout the room until finally they popped with a loud snap and a burst of bright, blinding light. A light that burned so bright that the dungeon and the mindscape disappeared completely and Suri was thrown violently back into reality. A reality where her power exploded and sent the vampire, who had been holding her in place, flying across the room.
Suri was hit with a wave of exhaustion and she fell to her knees, panting and breathing heavily as she tried to reclaim any amount of air she could. Gasping, she looked up and watched De'Jon slowly pick himself up off of the floor where Suri's energy had thrown him. The plus side was that Suri no longer felt weaker than usual and could feel Atiena behind her in their shared mind, embracing her human half as she too tried to regain her own strength and breath.
"Suri, are you okay?" Yumei shouted from across the room as she twisted rapidly, slamming her massive tail into one of the lower level vampires and sending them through a chair.
"Yeah," Suri grunted, getting to her feet. "I'm good."
"Not for long," De'Jon yelled and disappeared from the spot he'd been only to reappear right in front of Suri, lunging at her viciously. He struck Suri with consecutive blows, throwing her body back and forth and forcing her backward with each punch. "You will be mine!"
"No. I won't," Suri hissed as she caught his next right hook, then his left jab in both of her hands and did the most brazen thing she could; she headbutted the bastard. Her head rang with stinging pain as she brutally smacked the vampire, driving her thick skull into his and slamming him downward.
"Master!" Akeno cried out and then screamed in rage as she plowed through both Aiko and Mai, leveling both of them before coming for Suri.
The two of them squared off as Akeno tried to angrily choke the life out of Suri while she dug her foot into the lioness's chest. Suri was beginning to struggle to breathe when she finally gained enough leverage to slam her foot into the other girl's chest and kick her away. Even though Suri got her off, De'Jon wasted no time in coming for Suri again, doing everything he could to be unrelenting and overpower her. Suri's eyes watched his fist come flying for her again without time to move and she braced for the impact that was to come.
"Cast; Posiedon's Wall!"
Suri flinched as she felt a splash of water dust her face and looked up to find a small veil of water floating between her and De'Jon. The vampire attempted to strike it again only to hit the water like it was a brick wall. His vision fixed itself from Suri to Ryuko who was a few meters behind Suri, hand outstretched and holding one eye closed out of concentration.
"You will not get in my way, witch!" the vampire growled.
"Already did, love," Ryuko replied with a smirk and shortness of breath.
"Let me deal with her, Master," Akeno sneered, her eyes going back and forth between Suri and Ryuko.
"You're not finished with us," Aiko barked angrily before grabbing the lioness by the hair from behind and throwing her.
Akeno went skidding across the dancefloor, tumbling back towards the couches at the front of the room. The leopardess then leapt skyward, coming down on Akeno hard and cracking the floor around her as she drove her feet into the lioness' back. She'd had barely any time to recover before Mai came over and hit her with a dirty kick to the gut, punting her like a soccer ball to send Akeno into and then through the wall directly behind her.
With that distraction, Suri charged forward under Ryuko's wall of water and barrelled into the vampire in front of her, tackling him to the ground. She rode him down before straddling his chest where she grabbed his hair with one hand and came down on him with her other, rocking him with heavy blows. Each one jerked his head to the side and they were hard enough that they split him open where he began to bleed from his forehead. Realizing he was bleeding, Suri's eyes went to his left hand and realized it had been healed, then she remembered what happened before she blacked out. He'd taken her blood. Her eyes filled with shock and then filled with rage because he'd basically marked her as his without her consent. She was screaming with frustration when he began to laugh, which was never a good sign in a fight; especially when you were the one currently winning so to speak.
Suri realized why he was laughing and it was too late to do anything.
With a force of vampiric power, a shockwave of cold death rocked Suri, sending her skyward off of him. She tried to correct herself while she was airborne but that too was a faultless endeavor when she was grabbed by the throat and then thrown to the ground. She hit the floor hard enough she bounced off of it, knocking the wind out of her and leaving her open for another attack. She was punted this time, taking a hard kick to the gut and taking the small journey to hit a wall that dented from her impact before she dropped to the floor. Suri groaned and coughed as she tried to pull herself back up off the ground and had an unrelenting helping hand when De'Jon grabbed her again and this time held her off the ground by her throat. She choked and coughed as his hand squeezed around her, cutting off her air and circulation and making his hateful eyes the last thing she was going to see before she blacked out again - or worse.
"You've left me no choice, Suri. You're too powerful not to claim," he growled and then let a sickening smirk cross his lips. Her heart was thumping hard in her ears so that the noises of fighting and things being broken died off in the background and all she heard was the vampire. "I'll ask this once. And I do hope you give me the right answer. Who's queen are you?"
Suri choked, weakly trying to pry his fingers from her as she tried refusing to answer. That apparently had not been what he wanted either so his grip tightened and he asked again in a slower, more menacing voice.
"Who's. Queen. Are. You?"
Suri's vision went black as she faded from being choked and her body fell limp. There was a sense of falling, like De'Jon had dropped her like a discarded toy, but it lasted so much longer than it should have. She knew she should have hit the ground like a bag of bricks and it should hurt but that never came either. Instead, she felt weightless and felt the icy chill in her body subside and part of her expected the taste of raspberries to follow; a sure sign of shock from being suffocated. The wait for shock and eventual death seemed to last forever and her mind jumped to the last time she'd died. How she had a desperate need to see her loved ones but for some reason, she seemed at peace this time. Her body, which had been freezing cold in De'Jon's grasp, was now warm, almost burning but felt comforting, felt like home. That feeling became even more so because her nose flooded with the scent of autumn forest, earth, and cinnamon. Her darkened vision held flashes of electricity and lightning that were bright green in color, lightning that took the shape of a person.
A person that had become Suri's home.
"She's mine!"
The sound of that familiar voice made her take a deep breath, clawing herself back to life and straining to make it back to the owner of that voice. Suri's eyes fluttered open, her vision and senses coming back entirely and she looked up to see Izuku there. He was surrounded by flashes of green lightning that flickered off of him with small pops of electricity, his skin glowing and hot to the touch. She couldn't help but freeze and become silent in that moment of wonder as she realized her entire situation. Suri was never one for being a damsel in distress but that moment was all too fairytale perfect to deny that being rescued by Izuku and held in his arms was a dream come true. Her breath, that she hadn't realized she'd been holding, came out slowly as she looked slowly from Izuku to De'Jon who was now meters away, looking both stunned and furious at the same time.
Shock because, from what Suri guessed, that one second De'Jon had been holding Suri by the throat, choking the life out of her, the next she was gone. He'd had every intention of ending Suri in a last ditch effort that boiled down to a whole if I can't have you, no one will kind of motivation. He had been a mere second away from killing Suri and then she up and poofed from his hand and was just magically in the arms of another man. It had surprised him so much that he'd become a loss of words but then seeing the greenette holding his so-called destined one had flipped the jealous switch inside his cold dead heart.
"Don't look into his eyes," Suri finally said, remembering that she should protect Izuku, lest his act of knight in shining armor go to waste. Even those few hordes had taken a lot to formulate because her brain was somewhere between shock and trying to calm down the burning heat inside her core thanks to a fantasy come to life.
"Vampire, right?" Izuku asked in his stern determined voice, never taking his eyes off of the opponent in front of him.
"Y-Yeah," Suri replied, questioning how he'd already figured out the danger in front of him.
The tone and sternness of his voice did nothing to put out the fire spreading inside her, instead, it made her heart skip a beat. That's when she looked across the room again, trying to distract her thoughts, and saw another familiar figure, in beast man form, wreaking all sorts of havoc. Suri's eyes watched Pazuzu plowing through and pummeling vampire after vampire, throwing them through furniture, walls, and the floor itself. It clicked that the werewolf must have told Izuku what was inside and the nerd had prepared himself before they'd even gotten into the room. Which begged the question of how they even got inside in the first place. Then Suri noticed the massive broken window and a perfectly unobstructed view of the night skyline of the city of Musutafu.
Of course they'd come through the window.
It was both so Izuku and so Pazuzu because of course it had both the flare of being a reckless badass that didn't give a fuck while being ultra heroic, crashing in to save the day and stun the so-called bad guys.
"Are you okay?" Izuku asked cautiously, moving himself and Suri a step backwards from De'Jon who was beginning to pace angrily.
"Yeah, just exhausted. He got all of us with his mind tricks," Suri replied, still taken aback from the possessive clutch Izuku had on her.
"You will not take her from me, human," De'Jon hissed, crouching himself and getting ready to attack the two of them.
"That's not a choice for you to make for her," Izuku replied defensively and then looked down at Suri, his eyes glistening as he looked at her. "It's hers."
The look in his eyes made Suri snap, instantly wrapping her arms around him and hoisting herself up in his arms. She crashed her lips against his, desperately kissing him with every ounce of love and need she had for him. He faltered at first, nearly dropping Suri in surprise but soon he matched Suri in, returning the kiss with a fiery passion of his own and then some. It was the most ferocious kiss he'd given her in recent memory and Suri savored every second of it, savoring his touch, taste, and feelings behind that kiss. After a wild moment of need and passion, Suri let herself slip from his arms and together they stood up, cradling each other in their arms. Izuku looked at Suri, questioning how she was feeling with his eyes, and she returned that question with a look of gratitude and determination of her own.
"I made my choice a long time ago," Suri sighed happily, staring deep into Izuku's emerald eyes. She then let a smirk cross her lips and she leaned into him, laying her head on his shoulder so that she faced De'Jon. The vampire was boiling with anger, which only popped with Suri's next words. "Hey Green Bean, who's queen am I?"
"Mine," Izuku breathed with a trickle of growl and rasp to his tone.
The delivery of it made Suri shiver and had to swallow a lump in her throat, which was painful to do. The lump though, was nothing compared to the burning heat in her core that filled her and made her cheeks flush crimson with a deep blush. Now all she wanted was for Izuku to take her and make good on that one word right now, audience be damned!
Down girl! Down!
Right. Angry vampire ahead.
"And what do you think you can do to me? You're nothing compared to me!"
Both Suri and Izuku furrowed their brows and turned to face De'Jon. He grinned, baring fangs, ready for a fight only for his eyes to go wide with shock as both of them disappeared from his sight. He quickly followed shimmering after images of Suri, one disappearing after the other and making it next to impossible for him to keep up. Then came the flash of green lightning that ended with a hard right kick to the side of his head that sent him flying like a bullet instantly. Before he hit the ground however, he hit Suri instead, meeting her right shin with his spine as he folded over it and then was sent careening in the opposite direction.
De'Jon rolled across the ground and then skidded to a stop once he was able to correct himself, sliding across the ground on one knee. He growled and then shot forward, meeting Izuku and a flash of green lightning halfway between him and Suri where the two of them began to trade blows. More punches were dodged or parried than what actually connected and it was hard for the vampire not to be impressed that the greenette was able to keep up with him. He figured the lightning surrounding the boy had something to do with it. Each time the vampire was able to punch Izuku, Izuku would match him, slamming his own fists into De'Jon's jaw. This went on for a long moment before Suri rushed in, tagging Izuku out as she took her turn to trade blows with the vampire. While Izuku waited for his next opening, Suri pounded into De'Jon, her fists and feet rocking him over and over again. The vampire poured into his power, letting himself get faster and he began to overwhelm Suri once again, pushing her back with a flurry of hits.
Suri took the blows, holding her arms up to block him and hissing in pain from the result as the vampire bruised and battered her forearms. During his flurry, Suri quickly dipped to the left, letting him go off balance and stumble past her as he tried to overcorrect himself. As he did so, he found Izuku waiting for him with another Full Cowling left roundhouse that smashed De'Jon in the back of the head and sent him directly downward into the ground. The force of him hitting the ground made it buckle, denting and cracking the flooring around him in a small crater.
Their victory however, was short lived as he picked himself off the ground, watching his blood pool into the crater where he'd been laying a second before. The rage resulted in a massive burst of vampiric energy that pushed both Suri and Izuku away from him like he was a raging wind storm.
"How we doing over there?" Pazuzu called out, panting and breathing heavily as he finished off the last of De'Jon's vampire bodyguards. His confident grin soured into a look of frustration when the door to the office ballroom opened and a group of young werelions, already in various stages of transformation, burst into the room.
Suri grunted and watched the lions pour in - counting six in all - her own chest heaving from exhaustion. She looked back and forth between her friends and the opponents that they'd either beaten, almost beaten, and the fresh group of enemies. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly as she focused her attention back on De'Jon, ready to take him out of the game for good.
"If we win this, I'll sit on your face."
"For real?" Pazuzu asked with eager anticipation and it wasn't lost on Suri that he wasn't the only one that had the look of anticipation in his eyes.
"For real," Suri chuckled back with a playful grin.
"Fuck yeah!" Pazuzu roared with glee before bounding forward with blinding speed straight into the group of lions like the over eager wrecking ball he was. The next moment she watched the werewolf claw, punch, and kick every opponent in his way with chaotic righteous fury and sent them flying across the room, into the ground, or back out the door.
"Babe, can you keep up?" Suri asked, eyeing Izuku next who was clearing his throat and trying to hide his own eagerness. It was cute how much he and Pazuzu were alike and it made sense why they got along so well.
"Yeah," he replied confidently, understanding what Suri was wanting to do. "Let's go!"
With his signal, both he and Suri took off running, going as fast as they could to create a dual star pattern around De'Jon. He hissed in response, jerking back and forth in the middle of the circle that formed around him as he watched a dozen images of Suri surround him in the middle of a spinning pentagram made of green lightning. As he tried lashing out towards the lightning or one of Suri's after images, he was hit by something which forced him back into the safety of the eye of Suri and Izuku's storm. The eye of the storm however, proved to be just as treacherous because in the next moment he was getting socked and hit from every direction as Suri and Izuku took turns hitting the vampire from every side. The hits took De'Jon off balance, sending him rocking back and forth like he was a drunk man trying to walk after way too many drinks.
With him off balance and reeling, it was Suri and Izuku's cue to put the vampire down for good.
"Jury of Wolves!"
The crowd of Suri's shouted in unison as the group imploded and De'Jon was hit a dozen times at once. The force of him getting pummeled so many times made him rise upwards, levitating him and making him float upwards towards the ceiling. He was already nearly knocked out from the blows Suri had delivered to make him float when his eyes fluttered open while he was weightless and found an airborne Izuku already waiting for him.
"St. Louis Smash!"
De'Jon choked a scream as Izuku drove a full strength vertical roundhouse kick into his skull and sent the vampire downward. The floor gave way as he crashed through it and several floors below before he finally came to a stop. Life was driven out of him as he was left unconscious on the floor and completely out of commission in the twisted wreckage that his body had created as he laid among the crumpled floor and building materials.
And with that, the fight was over.
Suri fell to her knees from exhaustion as she looked over the hole in the floor and where De'Jon lay. It occurred to her that the room was now silent and she dared to look around to see the result of the fight that had been going on. Any opponents that had been left standing were frozen in shock as they watched the abyss that their master vampire had disappeared into. The remaining enemies were few and far between, which meant that even if they hadn't beaten the vampire, the others hadn't stood a chance against Suri's group anyway. Suri then watched Ryuko, panting from exhaustion and covered in scrapes and bruises, come to the side of the hole and peer down into it. She looked at Suri and then back at the vampire before holding out her hands and moving them in slow, circular motions while she muttered something under her breath in another language.
"Cast; Ygddrasil's Chains."
From the flask on the front of her belt came a glowing serpent made of the water that had been contained inside of it. It had been the same water that was used to create the wall that saved Suri from De'Jon and Akeno earlier. She knew Ryuko's magic was derived from an affinity to water, making it so that her water manipulation magic could be seen as using a Quirk, but this had been the first that she'd seen it work. Suri thought it to be rather beautiful and fitting for her clan's most powerful witch. It was beautiful watching the large serpent slither its way down through the wreckage, wrap itself around De'Jon and then haul him back upwards towards them where it stayed bound around him even after he'd been laid back out.
"Are you okay," Izuku asked as he came to Suri's side and knelt beside her and rested his hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah, I'll be okay once I get some rest I think," Suri answered. Her eyes narrowed at the vampire then and she let out a low rumbling growl in his direction. "Once he's awake, I'm going to make sure he doesn't have any other tricks up his sleeves."
"Yeah," Aiko scoffed as she came up from behind the two of them. "Thank you, by the way, for setting our beasts free. I'm… not sure how you were the one to find them. What did he do to our beasts anyway? She's… not really saying anything to me."
"I'm not sure why yours and Mai's beasts were in my head either. My best guess is that it was something to do with being tied to me by blood," Suri shrugged. Then she remembered how she'd found Atiena and the others and turned to give Izuku a smirk, which he raised a curious eyebrow to. "Oh and as for what happened to them? I think that's for them to share."
"Why not share now?" Mina whined with exhaustion as she collapsed into Suri and Izuku, wrapping her arms around the two of them.
"I'm surprised they don't want to tell," Tooru said as she too came crashing down into Suri, Izuku and Mina, holding the three of them tight.
"Later," Atiena chuckled and sighed as she too smothered Suri from inside their mind.
"We're done, right? I don't think I have much energy left to fight," Yumei added as she slithered over to join the group. Her eyes were transfixed on the water serpent, sparkling like she'd just come across the cutest video on the internet she'd ever seen.
Everyone nodded that the fighting was indeed over.
Everyone except for one person.
