("Another" Chaldea)
"It seems she's returned successfully, senpai," a purple-haired demi-Servant reported cheerfully as readings from the Rayshift chamber came in. "I wonder what adventures Nero went on this time."
"Late, but right on time," Ruler commented, a hint of relief clear in her usually neutral voice to anyone aware of the day's schedule. "I'm beginning to wonder if (Performing Idol) really is some sort of variant class."
"It really should be," the red Emperor-pretender agreed happily with her, stepping out from the vault that held the various Coffins used by Chaldea. "I'd never miss my performance slot, after all."
"Thank goodness for that," Ritsuka muttered. "Though I wish you could teach Elizabeth how to get better instead of worse at singing when the audience gets larger."
"That would be complicated..." she demurred, stepping to the side as several people filed out with boxes of various materials that had come back with her. "In any case, today was a great haul. I met up with a pair of female pirates and this old guy who had more pistols than a gunshop; we ended up chasing or being chased by, or hunting or being hunted by, Hannibal's army all around Italy so they couldn't take down the Roman Republic, and got so much stuff we could hardly take it all back with us when the other Chaldeans resolved the Singularity - it was a bit crammed in the Coffin when the World kicked me back home."
"Yeah... slow down a bit please." Ruler smoothed her light green dress before taking Nero's hand. "We need to hurry, because if the set time arrives and the dragon girl starts off solo, it'll be all over."
"She isn't that bad in our practice sessions," Nero said while the pair took off towards the auditorium. "Oh, by the way, I met a Servant, like a younger girl Emiya, who seemed to know how to sing Akogaretion."
"Is that so..."
"Indeed. It was quite a hit; I think Master will be rather happy with the extra Friend Points it might have brought in."
"Is... that so?" Ruler raised an eyebrow, checking the friendship account. "Huh, that's something to keep in mind."
"You know," Ruby commented, poking its way into the conversation while flying next to the pair. "I could say a lot of things about how you treat that like some sort of resource-"
"But you won't, because I might tell Elizabeth you're a new model of microphone to match her dress, and let her take you for a spin." The wand quickly disappeared back into the Servant's Inventory without making a sound.
"Really don't cut her a break, do you?" Nero asked. "She's your, uh, mascot character or something, right?"
"Oh Ruby definitely gets her pound of flesh one way or another," the other Servant grumbled. "If I slipped up, there'd be no end of dancing to whatever extremely embarrassing or horribly humiliating tune popped into her head at whatever inopportune time."
"Hmm... oh huh. Yeah, ok."
"For some reason, I suspect you were thinking something pretty bad."
"Hehe. Ok look, we're here - don't want to keep Eliza waiting, see you bye!"
Abruptly left outside of the dressing room, the green Ruler was deep in thought until the others began arriving. That Chaldea managed to summon Chloe?
