Chapter 10: As Low as Dishonor (2/5)
Jon Arryn:
At the first sign of sunlight, Jon decided to finally make his way to the Eyrie. There was only one problem.
"He looks so peaceful." A certain girl with black hair and blue eyes commented.
Apparently, instead of going to sleep as Jon requested him to do. Raziel Baratheon, instead, decided to sneak out of his room to explore instead. He didn't get to explore anything though as he apparently spent the night doing something else. The resemblance between the two is so obvious. Jon noted as he looks at Mya Stone, who has grown quite a lot since he last time saw her.
Apparently, the Prince, by a unbelievable coincidence, crossed paths with his half-sister by accident and decided to help her recover some mules that had escaped. According to Mya, he collapsed into the ground dramatically and fell asleep soon after.
Right now, Raziel was sleeping peacefully on the ground while Mya Stone stares at him. Still unaware that she was actually staring at her younger brother. "Should I... Wake him up... Or..." Mya seemed unsure of what she should do. At the moment, only Jon, Nestor and a few other people working on their daily duties are present on the yard. Mya was on her knees besides the sleeping Prince. She was genuinely shocked when Jon informed her of who he was and was deeply apologetic over the fact that he helped her the previous day. Jon reassured the illegitimate daughter of the king that it was no problem.
"Please do." Jon politely requested her. I really wanna tell Raziel who she is, but it's better that I wait a bit more, otherwise, Raziel will probably want to spent all of his time here with her and I would prefer that he established himself at the Vale a bit first. He once heard Raziel say that he would love to have a sibling. Unaware that he actually has several of them around.
"Hey, Raz..." She cooed her younger brother and shaked him gently.
"Raz? You're speaking with the crown Prince, girl!" Nestor spoke to her with authority. Jon was about to assure Nestor that it was okay.
"Don't yell at her." But Raziel opened his eyes and rebuffed to the man. He sat up from the ground and looked at his sister. "I actually like Raz, you can call me that if you want."
"Why didn't you tell me you were the Prince?" Mya asked in confusion, with a bit of annoyance in her voice.
"You wouldn't have let me help you if I did." He answered her, before he let out a yawn and fell back into the ground slowly. He seemed to be about to go back to sleep. Until Mya gently slapped his forehead. "Ow..."
"They're waiting for you," She told the barely conscious boy. "It's rude to keep people waiting." Mya lectured him, even though she was technically the reason to why he was tired.
"Sorry..." He apologized before he clumsy stood up.
Jon could only smile at the exchange between the two siblings. Robert did contemplated bringing Mya into King's Landing, but he was discouraged by a commentary made by the Queen. Jon thought it was shame, just by seeing how close the two already are.
Raziel stretched himself and adjusted his outfit. "I apologize, I couldn't fall asleep so I decided to explore the place." He apologized to Jon.
Jon put his hand on Raziel's shoulder. "Don't worry about it." He assured him. "But we must get going now, there are matters that require my attention at the Eyrie." The Hand of the King informed the Prince.
"Oh, okay." It was Raziel's response. Before he turned around to face his sister. "It was very nice meeting you, Mya." He told her with a smile. "I wish we could get to know each other a bit more, but I'm glad I was able to help you."
Mya gave him a smile in return , that Jon couldn't help but notice that it was similar to Robert's smile. "Thank you very much, and I apologize once again my Prin-" She tried to apologize but was interrupted.
"Please call me Raz or just Raziel, not my Prince." The Prince requested her. Raziel always preferred that his friends called him either by his name or by a nickname.
"Okay, Raz, thank you very much for helping me with the mules." Mya thanked her brother. Before she turned around to leave, probably to attend her other duties at the castle.
"I don't know why, but I feel like I know her..." Raziel commented to Jon, who could only observe the boy trying to figure out why he was so familiar with her. Still unaware that the girl was his older sister.
"You'll find out soon enough, but right now, we must get going." Jon told Raziel, interrupting his thoughts.
"Okay..."
With that, both the Prince and the Hand of the King, made their was back to his room to collect his sworn shield and his pet.
It took approximately an hour to get everything ready to make their way to the Eyrie. Raziel seemed to have shaken off his sleeplessness by eating a lot. The woman at the kitchen were actually shocked by the amount that he eat. Apparently, he eat two pieces of cheese, three pieces of bread and four cups of goat milk. Jon however, wasn't shocked as it was nothing compared to what the boy's father eats.
Once the Prince was full and everything was set, both made their way to his castle. Raziel just kept observing the castle from afar, probably trying to memorize in order to see if the Eyrie is indeed the smallest of the great castles once he takes a good look at the other ones during his journey.
Raziel seemed to be having deep thoughts about something. But Jon was just too worried about what exactly does the Lord of Runestone has to discuss with him. He tried but couldn't come up with any theory to what exactly it could be, but just the fact that he decided to see him personally was already a sign of concern.
Raziel Baratheon:
The Prince was really tired after spending the whole night helping the girl called Mya. And he can't shake the feeling of something familiar about her, like already knows her, somehow. It was what occupied his mind for the remaining of the short trip to the Eyrie, which they were about to arrive at.
It's pretty impressive, even it it's indeed the smallest of the great castles. He thought as he observed the Eyrie from afae. It was no larger than Maegor's Holdfast. The castle is made of fine white stone, with seven slim, white towers bunched tightly together and according to Jon, it can hold up to five hundred men. His father told him several stories about the times when Lord Stark and him were Jon's wards, and he really wanted to see if the stories were truth.
However, the way there was somewhat complicated:
First, they had to get past the Stone, which was the first waycastle defending the Eyrie. The path to Stone was surrounded by forest. With a massive Ironbound gate and a yard. The Stone walls were crowned with iron spikes and two fat round towers above the keep. Raziel actually noticed that, inside the stables, were the mules that he helped Mya with. Making him wonder, how exactly were they put there so quickly, as it took hours for Mya and him to put them back into place.
Second, they had to get past the Snow, the second waycastle. The trail of Snow was stepper than the Stone. It consisted of a single fortified tower, a timber keep, and a stable placed behind a low wall of unmortared rock. It is nestled into the Giant's Lance so as command the entire pathway from Stone to Snow.
Third but not least. They had to get past the Sky. The path to Sky was treacherous. It was open to the wind and the steps are cracked and broken from the constant freezing. Sky is a high, crescent-shaped wall of unmortared stone raised against the side of the Giant's Lance. Inside the walls there were a series of ramps and a great tumble of boulders and stones of all sizes, ready to throw down or even cause a minor avalanche. There is a cavern containing a long natural hall, barracks, stables for mules, and supplies. Handholds carved into the rock lead to the Eyrie, while earthen ramps give access to the walls. The Eyrie, located six hundred feet above, can be reached by Sky's handholds in the rocky chimney which lead to the castle's undercellar, or by taking wicker baskets and oaken supply buckets pulled by chain winches.
The Prince had a difficult time going through all of this paths, mainly because of the fact that he was tired due to his lack of sleep. But he endured for the chance of seeing the the castle.
Luckily, the chance to see it has finally arrived. As both the Prince and the Hand of the King arrive at the ancient castle and seat of House Arryn. It baffled Raziel to a certain degree on how high the castle was, making him imagine the way down, which would frighten anyone. I wonder if I'll get to see someone getting thrown through the Moon Door. He thought as he was always curious about the door, as according to his father, beyond was white sky, falling snow, and nothing else.
Raziel couldn't help but notice the face that Jon was making. He seemed very happy to be there. Observing the front of the castle, Raziel had a very simple question for him. "Does it seem different?"
Jon looked at the Prince before answered. "No, it looks just the same." He said that with a smile before he signalled the boy to follow him.
After entering the through the main gate. Both of them were greeted by Ser Vardis Egen the captain of the House Arryn guards at the Eyrie, and Colemon, the castle's maester. Who kneeled before the two.
"Welcome back my Lord." Ser Vardis was a stocky and silver haired. He has a square, plain face.
Colemon was a thin man with little hair and a long, skinny neck.
"Ser Vardis and Colemon, is a pleasure to see the two of you again." Jon told the two before he signaled the two of them to stand up.
Raziel wasn't really paying attention to them, he was instead looking around the castle. Wow, my father has a really good memory because it looks just like how he describe it. He thought as he looked around.
"Raziel, come along now." Jon called for him.
The Prince obeyed and started to follow Jon around the Vale. Jon seemed to be discussing something with both Ser Vardis and Colemon, but Raziel wasn't paying attention to their conversation, his focus was in observing his surroundings. Not that anyone could blame him for that, as he was going to be spending a year there. Soon enough, they all arrived at carved wooden doors. Which, if the Prince isn't mistaken, it's the entrance of the High Hall.
The High Hall is a long and austere hall, with walls made of blue-veined white marble. It's decorated with rows of slim fluted pillars and a blue silk carpet. At the end of it sit two thrones carved of weirdwood, one the high seat of the lord and the other a lesser throne for a consort. It has narrow, arched windows, between which are torches mounted on high iron or silver sconces.
There were two people inside the High Hall. One was sitting on the throne and the other one was standing right next to the throne. Upon noticing the presence, the two individual decided to approach them.
One of them was Yohn Royce, who Raziel recognized from some tourney in King's Landing that he took part in. He stood out to him mainly because of the Bronze armor that he wore. His face is lined and he has grey hair, slate-grey eyes, and bushy eyebrows. He is as tall as Sandor and has large, gnarled hands.
The other one, who was sitting on the throne, the Prince didn't know who it was but he had an idea. It was a boy, slightly older than himself. He was a thin, tall and lanky boy, with short brushed back light brown hair. He had sky blue eyes, an aquiline nose and a small mole under his right eye. He was wearing an outfit similar to Raziel's, though the breeches were black. He was carrying an interesting looking dagger on his belt.
"My Lord." Yohn bowed to the Hand of the King. "My Prince." Then he bowed to Raziel.
Before Jon could say anything, Raziel spoke first. "It's a pleasure to see you again, but, I must admit, it's strange to see you without your armor." Yohn Royce was wearing a simplistic blue outfit.
Yohn chuckled at that. "Believe me, if I could, that armor would be the only thing I wear." Raziel actually believed him.
The black haired boy then turned his head to the boy, who seemed to be waiting for someone to speak to him. "You must be Jon's great-nephew, Robyn." The boy only nodded as a response. "It's an honor to meet you, I'm Raziel Baratheon." He extended his hand in response.
"I'm Robyn Arryn, it's an equal honor to meet you, my Prince." He politely introduced himself to Raziel before shaking his hand. Before he approached Jon. "It's also great to finally meet you, Lord Arryn."
Jon just smiled at him before speaking. "Actually, we met when you were born." He clarified before putting his hands at his heir's shoulders. "But you grown quite a lot since the last time I saw you."
"I hate to interrupt as I'm sure you two have a lot of catching up to do, but there are some important matters that I must discuss with you, my Lord." Yohn informed Jon with a lot of seriousness. Raziel wondered what this important matter was.
"Y-yes, Nestor informed me." Jon stuttered a bit, signaling his worry. Before he turned to look at Robyn. "We will unfortunately have to leave the conversation for later, but I have a favor to ask you."
"What is it?" Robyn asked Jon.
"I need you to give a tour of the Eyrie to Raziel, as the will be staying here for a year." Jon requested him. "Could you do me this favor for me?"
"You can say no if you want, I always had a tendency of exploring things by myself anyway." Raziel decided input as he didn't want to be a bother for the Heir of the Eyrie.
"Not at all, it would be my pleasure." Robyn replied to what he said.
"Oh, if that's the case, I need to get my pet before the tour starts." Raziel really doesn't like keeping Symeon in a cage. "Come on, we can start the tour after." The Prince didn't even wait for Robyn.
The Heir of the Eyrie just bowed to his great-uncle and his grandfather before following Raziel.
Jon Arryn:
As soon as the two boys left the High Hall, Jon decided to relieve a feeling that he hasn't in a long time. The feeling of sitting on high seat of the lord.
"You know, I forgot the feeling of this seat." Jon couldn't help but mention. "It's certainly far more pleasant than the Iron Throne." I feel sorry for when Raziel will be forced to sit on it.
"You don't need to sit on it, to know that it's a very uncomfortable seat." Yohn commented. But Jon could only laugh as it was a understatement.
Unfortunately, it was time to focus on the important matters. "Okay," Jon sat properly on his seat before speaking. "What exactly is going on, Lord Yohn?" He decided to be direct. "The fact that you came here yourself already had me concerned, so please spare no detail."
Yohn made a serious expression before he spoke. "Is kind of a long story, but I'll start from the beginning."
Jon rose an brow in curiosity as what exactly is this about.
"I assume you know who Gerold Grafton is?" It was a stupid question, but not entirely unreasonable to ask. Jon knows that Gerold Grafton is the Lord of Gulltown but Jon never really got the opportunity to meet him personally. He succeed his father, Marq Grafton after he was slain by Robert during the rebellion since Marq decided to stay loyal to Aerys Targaryen.
"I don't know the man personally, but I know of him." Jon clarified.
"Good, it makes this easier." Yohn folded his arms before he continued. "About a month, both my second and third son decided to go to Gulltown for reasons that I'm still unaware of, upon their return however, my third son, Waymar started to act strange but he wouldn't tell anyone what was bothering him." Jon was curious about where he was going with this. "A week later however, he decided to go there a second time, and he still hasn't returned." Yohn told Jon sounding concern.
"Lord Yohn, it is not my place to judge the concerns of a father," Especially since he never had a child of his own. "But, is this really a matter of such concern?" Jon asked trying his best to not sound rude, but his son Waymar was a young man who could just be searching for some type of adventure at the city.
"I'm afraid it is," Yohn looked down with a solemn expression. "I sent my other son, Robar, to search for Waymar once a week has passed and he also hasn't returned." Hearing that actually surprised Jon. "My Lord, I know this must seem like a father concerning himself more than he should with his sons, but I have a very bad feeling about the situation."
"How so?" Jon questioned him.
"When Robar didn't returned or sent a message, I decided to grab a few of my man and go there myself to check myself." Yohn started to explain. "Upon my arrival however, I was greeted by Lord Grafton and immediately questioned him about my sons. But he dodge all of my questions and denied that they were ever in Gulltown." That is indeed very suspicious, if Lord Grafton simply said that he hasn't saw them, it would have been understandable but... Why would he deny that they were there in the first place? Jon was understanding where Yohn was going with this. "My Lord, it took everything I had to maintain my calm in that situation but my sons are still missing and I'm almost certain that whatever was bothering Waymar is the cause of it, I believe he saw something that he shouldn't and his disappearance is a result of that."
"And this something that he shouldn't have seen may have some connection to Lord Grafton." Which would explain why he was so defensive when Yohn questioned him. "Lord Yohn, you made the right decision in not acting harsh about this." He stood up from his seat before. "I give you my word that I will look into it and discover what exactly is going on."
"My Lord, frankly, I came very close to gather my man and search Gulltown with or without Lord Grafton's permission but my first son and heir advised me to wait for your arrival and bring the matter to you personally, as it wasn't really wise to start this kind of commotion during the crown Prince's stay in the Vale." Lord Yohn explained to the Hand of the King, apparently glad that he took this alternative instead.
"And I'm grateful for that, I cannot even start to comprehend how difficult it must be to not know what exactly happened to your sons and I promise that I'll look into right away." Jon assured the Lord of Runestone. "I'll sent a message to some trustworthy contacts of mine at Gulltown, they will be able to investigate without Lord Grafton's knowledge." Honestly, to Jon, there was a bit of doubt in Lord Grafton's loyalty, as his father was killed due to staying loyal to the opposite side and Jon honestly doesn't really have much faith that Gerold Grafton has any loyalty to them other than the bare minimum required for self-preservation.
"My Lord, I trust your judgement but I must ask, what exactly do you think is going on there?" Yohn questioned him as he seemed confused.
"I'm afraid I don't know, but the sudden disappearance of your sons worries me." Jon was already worried about the revelation of the possibility of a second entrance to the Vale other than the Bloody Gate. Which actually gave Jon an idea. "Lord Yohn, I know this is a terrible time to request something of you but, there's something that I might need your help with while my contacts investigate your sons disappearance."
"If you require my aid with something my Lord, don't be shy to ask." Yohn assured him.
"Well, you see..."
Raziel Baratheon:
After recovering his dear pet and having a very awkward conversation about how, where and why he had a Hrakkar as a pet with Robyn Arryn. Both the Prince and the Heir of the Eyrie started the tour through out the castle.
The waterfall known as Alyssa's Tears could be heard from the Eyrie, as Raziel actually heard it from afar as he observed the falcons that were flying nearby the castle.
The Eyrie apparently lacks stables, smithys, and kennels, but it's granary is as large as those found in much larger castles according to Robyn. It also contains a sept. The castle's household guards wear sky-blue cloaks.
The Moon Door, which was the thing that Raziel wanted to see the most, was a narrow weirwood door that stands between two slender pillars halfway in the High Hall. A crescent moon was carved into the door, which opens inward and is barred by three heavy bronze bars. The door opens into the sky. According to his father executions at the Eyrie use this door, which opens onto a six hundred foot drop to the stones of the valley below. Something that Raziel really wants to see
The Crescent Chamber is the Eyrie's reception hall. Where, guests are given refreshments and warmed by the fire after making the climb up the Giant's Lance. Which caused Raziel to wonder why wasn't he given any refreshments once him and Jon arrived. A flight of steep marble stairs from the Crescent Chamber bypasses the Eyrie's undercrofts and dungeons and is protected by three murder holes. The portcullis atop the stairs leads to an arcade decorated with tapestries. The solar is located at the end of the arcade. The chamber is decorated with a Myrish carpet and has enough room for a trestle table and at least eight heavy oak-and-leather chairs.
The Lower Hall is a hall in which food and wine can be served. The Morning Hall is located above the kitchens and is where people can break their fast. Raziel ended up making a stop there to eat some fruits.
The Maiden's Tower is the easternmost of the seven towers of the Eyrie. From a balcony on the tower, one can see the Vale and the Giant's Lance. Raziel actually surprised because the Giant's Lance didn't seem so bad from afar.
The Moon Tower contains the bedchambers of Lord Arryn, which is protected by an oaken door four inches thick and has curtains of plush blue velvet. The bedchamber's window has small diamond-shaped panes. It was much more pleasant than Jon's bedchambers in the Red Keep.
The garden is encircled by the castle's towers. According to Robyn, it was intended to be a godswood, but no weirwood heart tree would take root in the stony soil. The garden, instead contains blue flowers, grass, shrubbery, thin dark trees, and statuary, including a depiction of a weeping Alyssa Arryn in its center.
The last part of the tour was the Sky cells, Eyrie's infamous dungeons. They were shelves on the side of the mountain's sheer cliffs, left open to the cold sky, with slightly sloping floors, apparently to unnerve the prisoners. According to some tales, many prisoners, driven mad by the cold and howling wind, commit suicide rather than remain imprisoned.
Once the tour was over, Raziel and Robyn, accompanied by Symeon and Sandor, made their way to the Lower Hall, where Raziel decided to eat some Rabbit Stew.
"Thanks for showing me the castle." Raziel told Robyn as he drank a cup of water. With Symeon eating some leftover meat right besides him. Sandor was sitting far away drinking some wine quietly.
"It was an honor, and I hope you found the castle to be of your liking." Robyn who was sitting on the other side of the table they were in, eating the same as Raziel, replied.
"Honestly, it might be the smallest of the great castles, but there's a certain charm to it." Raziel explained to the future Lord of the Castle.
"I know exactly what you mean." Robyn replied before eating a bit.
"So, will you be staying for a bit or will you return to the Runestone with your grandfather?" Raziel asked as he found the company of Jon's great-nephew to be very pleasant.
"Probably," He replied to Raziel. "My grandfather has some matters to discuss with my great-uncle, once they're done talking, we're probably gonna head back."
Raziel was a bit disappointed. "What a shame, I was hoping we could train together." He commented. "I saw your grandfather fighting in tourneys back in King's Landing and it really impressed me."
"Hah!" It was Robyn's response. "I'm nowhere near his skill but I'm working on it." He explained to him. "My biggest dream, is to one day wear his Bronze Armor in battle."
"Wait, isn't that armor supposed to belong to the Lord of Runestone?" Raziel was confused with that.
"My... Uncle has no interest in wearing my grandfather's armor and, although my grandfather doesn't know about it, my uncle promised to let me have it."Robyn confided to Raziel. "Please, don't say a word about that."
"You have my word." Raziel assured Robyn that he won't tell anyone. Then he finished his bowl of stew. "Ummm... Could I have another one please?" He asked one of the servants, who just nodded at him.
"How many did you have?" The Prince heard Jon's voice. He moved his head to the left and saw Jon, Lord Yohn and a few guards entering the Lower Hall.
"About to have seconds..." Raziel replied to Jon. "You should have some, it taste delicious."
"I think I will, I'm very hungry." Jon spoke before making his way towards the table and sitting next to Raziel. He pat Symeon's head once he did.
"My Prince, I been meaning to ask." Lord Yohn call Raziel's attention. "How did you domesticated a Lion?"
"Yes... I really like to know too, he's as obedient as a dog." Robyn added as he's still surprised by his pet.
"Before you explain, Yohn and I have something to discuss with Robyn." Jon decided to interject before Raziel... "Explained" how he domesticated Symeon, which would be very difficult as he didn't really do anything special.
"What is it, great-uncle Jon?" Robyn asked as he finished his stew.
"I'll just be direct with you Robyn," Yohn told his grandson. "Lord Arryn has requested my aid in some important matter, so I'll be departing the Eyrie soon to see if I can help him resolve it."
"And you shall remain at the Eyrie during the meantime." Jon added.
That, of course, surprised both boys, Robyn however was the one who was more surprised. "What?"
"You will be the Lord of the Eyrie once Jon passes away, and it would be highly beneficial for you to learn a thing or two from him." Yohn explained to his grandson.
Raziel who has just been served another stew, just observed as he eat. Though he had thought on his mind. I really need to sleep a bit. The pale boy was really sleepy. I really hope nobody yelled at Mya after we left. Thoughts of the girl he met on the Gates of the Moon passed through his mind once again as he still cannot figure it out why she seemed so familiar to him. I don't know why but... I really want to see her again. He kept on eating the stew while Jon, Yohn and Robyn spoke, not really paying much attention to their conversation. Soon enough however, he finished his Stew and made a decision. "Excuse me," He called their attention. "I think I'm gonna go try to get some sleep." The Prince specifically spoke to Jon.
"Oh, yes..." Jon replied, probably remembering that Raziel hasn't slept the previous night. "I assume Robyn already showed you the way to your accommodations?" He asked them, which Robyn nodded in affirmation.
"It was a honor to meet you Lord Yohn." He respectfully told the Lord of Runestone. "And so was you Robyn, if you will be staying at the Eyrie, would you mind if we train together some time?" The Heir of the Iron Throne asked the Heir of the Eyrie.
"It would be my honor, my Prince." Robyn accepts his request.
"Just Raziel is fine." The Prince assured Robyn. "Excuse me." He bowed to them respectfully before signalling Symeon to follow him, and Sandor also followed as soon as he passed through him.
It only took a small walk for him to arrive at his chambers, it was a simplistic room with not much on the inside, but it had decorations similar to Jon's bedchamber. But Raziel didn't really care about that, he just took off his outfit, put on some more comfortable clothes before he climbed on top of the bed with Symeon following behind him and fell asleep while hugging his soft pet.
I am so sorry for this horrendous delay, I had some problems in the shitty phone I use to write which caused me to have to rewrite this chapter twice. This should have been released two weeks ago. But I have some good news however, I might be able to finally use a computer again, which will reduce the update time considerably to all my stories, but it is not certain yet but I'm crossing my fingers.
Questions and Answers:
So those teasers for House of the Dragon had me thinking if Raziel was around during the dance of the Dragons as either the Lord of Storms end or one of the Targaryen princes would we have seen the family keep their dragons and Raziel himself fucking the prominent ladies of the time so Rhaenyra, Baela, Rhaena, Helaena, Mysaria, Nettles, Sharia Footly, Samantha Tarly, Aliandra Martell, Larra Rogare, Alysanne Blackwood, Sabitha Frey etc and riding around on Cannibal or Vhagar
Anyway more importantly been meaning to ask when Raziel eventually arrives at Sunspear how long is it going to be before he's fucking Arianne and the five oldest sand snakes?
Just really curious to see how Raziel charms the Martells
Will Raziel ever get to call Olenna grandmother with her approval of it haha
So the preview showed Alayne is going to be following Raziel when his time is done in the Riverlands makes sense and seems like Mya will be following him when he leaves the Vale just wanted to ask will Melissandre appear at some point and say she appears during his time in the Stormlands would she follow him to the next kingdom from there?
If I ever write a Dance of the Dragons story, it will involve a bastard son of Daemon Targaryen who would basically be an M-rated version of Len from Imbalanced Neutrality.
It will only happen after they warm up to him, Raziel is despised by the Dornish when he goes there.
It starts by getting a certain Viper to warm up to him.
His relationship with Olenna and Margaery will be very complex but they will respect him, mainly because they gonna teach him how to manipulate people. {Margaery attraction to Raziel is because she was unable to manipulate him.}
Raziel and Melissandre will have a very complex relationship. As Raziel has a fascination with magic but he's an atheist who doesn't believe in Gods. Having his own theories of what R'hllor really is.
for the preview, I see you will do a Jon x Mya pairing, or i read the situation wrong?
Jon does develops feelings for Mya but it's kind of one-sided.
Love the story keep it up
Oh, I will.
It'll be hilarious if Lysa wants her daughter Alayne to shank Sansa with a steak knife every time they're in the same room.
Alayne and Sansa will have a complicated relationships.
I still don't see the point in dragging Mia with your character if she's not in a relationship with him. So that she would eventually spread her legs in front of another man? An unpleasant prospect.
Everyone of his companions have a role in the group, they're not just girls that he's bringing along.
Ok love the story however I do admit I am disappointed we didn't get to see Cersei take Raziel fully inside her after all I do find their relationship somewhat different to what I would have thought after all I think Cersei genuinely loves her children and I think she would have a "softer" approach to how she proceeds with Raziel since he is a child HER child and in her eyes her only true "other half" after what she sees as Jamie's "betrayal" and she could easily make Raziel actually WANT her and I think THAT is what she would actually crave. However I do think that the time she is apart from him may actually affect her after all I doubt this Cersei could endure being apart from Raziel for any significant period of time.
She's just waiting until he hits puberty to go all the way.
Well judging by that preview raziel is gonna grow up to be a more competent joffrey
A neutral, hedonistic, smart, tougher and more charismatic.
Couldn't help but think when Raziel and Jon spoke about the Eyrie if any one has taken it before couldn't help but think both had forgotten Visenya also like the small detail that Raziel is so charming in conversation time can just fly by certainly makes journeys with him good haha
I also just like how Raziel likes things to be practical he also enjoys if they can look fancy to
Interested to see if Raziel will play any part in dealing with the three problems of the Vale
Enjoyed Raziel's meeting with Mya still a shame that she isn't going to be a lover of his but what can you do still like their meeting and got a laugh from Raziel when he realised Mya would find out who he is soon anyway also I can't help but think of Cersei goes to strike Raziel for bringing Mya back with him she gets one hit in but then Raziel catches the next slap
Cool to learn that Raziel will be getting a item of clothing from each of his stays with the lords Paramount does the Lion skin cape also count as a item he got from the Westerlands?
With Petyr again he shouldn't be nearly as much a threat or as powerful as he is in the main series yes he's smart and all but he could only start to gain power thanks entirely to Lysa without her Petyr has literally no way to rise to prominence in the vale nor is their any reason why he would be appointed head of customs in Gultown
As smart as he is this is a Petyr who should only have his family's land he shouldn't have any sort of spy network nor wealth he should be a poor man without a Brothel to his name or even if he has been able to rise up it should only be a little bit he just shouldn't have it as good as he did in the main series
When it comes to the bird Raziel gets have it be a majestic Eagle something akin to the Westros equal of the Golden Eagle
Well even if until Raziel finds his Bucephalus his riding skills remain mediocre he should still while in the Vale while learning more diplomacy learn to ride a horse better
I will say I don't think Raziel would need Myrcella to pull strings to get him into the citadel to learn he is the Crown Prince after all I'm pretty sure he could walk in to the citadel pick up a book and start reading and attend the lectures their as he pleases the special lessons are another thing that might need some string pulling with Myrcella's Hightower relatives to get those depending on the subject matter but good to know Serella will get to join him in these lessons
Haha yeah the Martells are perhaps among the fostering I'm most looking forward to
Now I loved the preview love seeing the glimpse of the Giant of a man Raziel will grow into hope he ends up standing eye level with the likes of Sandor when he's fully grown and loved the hedonistic energy we got from him enjoying himself with Alayne and if I'm guessing right Myranda of the Dreadfort and loved seeing how he dealt with the interrupters of his good time
I also freaking loved Alayne and her very clear psycho energy and how deeply devoted and in love with Raziel is heck I had the feeling Raziel didn't knock Robb out with a punch of his own because he knew Alayne would want to get a shoot in and I liked seeing how much he cared for her
Also like the strong implications Alayne and Raziel end house Bolton
They don't really count her because it was more her dragon than her that impregnated the Eyrie.
He has a bit of a extravagant taste thanks to his Lannister roots.
Involuntarily but yes.
Nah, Raziel doesn't have what it takes to face Cersei yet.
Yup
He won't rise as quickly but he will find a way.
Great idea!
His own Bucephalus will be a gift from a certain cripple.
Let's just say that, Raziel will make some very interesting discoveries and receive special tutelage.
Let's just say that, only two Martells will not adore Raziel by the time he leaves. {Oberyn is not one of the two.}
Raziel has the same height and frame as Renly, but he's much more stronger due to his rigorous training that he learned from warriors from all over Westeros. Raziel is a bigger hedonist than his father and yes, it was Myranda.
Like I said, she's as obsessive as Lysa. But Alayne's obsession with Raziel is more intense because he actually returns her feelings and is appreciative of the lengths she goes for him.
No, Raziel actually felt bad for insulting Robb's mother but he knew that Alayne was going to do something to him for hitting him.
Also, fun detail: In the continuation of that part. After Theon and Jon drag Robb out of the room, Mya follows them and assures that she's going to discover why Alayne did what she did but afterwords, she kicks Robb in the balls and says: "If you ever hit my little brother again, I'm gonna show you what "Ours is the Fury" really means!"
Will Raziel maybe ride a dragon, as I heard that you only need a bit of dragon blood to ride one, considering that Dany loves Raziel, she'll obviously allow him to use them as he pleades.
He gets the nickname of Father of Dragons while in Essos and that's all I can say.
Great story!
Thanks
From the previous, I'm finding Raziel's relationships with the Starks to be very interesting.
If it isn't too much of a bother, could you maybe give a description to what the relationship between him and the Starks be like. I know you wrote a preview already but I'm curious on how you would describe it.
Eddard: A kind of chaotic second father relationship, as he tries to teach Raziel about the importance of honor but his lessons kind of enter through an ear but come out of the other. But Raziel respects him so he makes an effort to follow his lessons. While Eddard doesn't really judges his behavior because Robert was much worse in his youth.
Catelyn:His relationship with her is kind of bad because of what occurred between him and the Tullys, and because she's very disapproving of his relationship with Alayne.
Robb: Raziel and Robb will kind of have a Ned and Jaime type of relationship. With Robb disapproving and judging everything that Raziel does and constantly butting heads with him because of Raziel's twisted and dishonorable {but effective} methods of soving problems, his lack morals and disregard for laws and rules and because of his taste for debauchery.
Theon: They will have a frienemies type of relationship. Raziel honestly hates his guts and he openly insults, beats and belittles him because of his obnoxious behavior. Which is a funny contrast because Raziel and Asha will have the complete opposite type of relationship.
Jon: Raziel and Jon will become Robert and Ned 2.0 in terms of relationships. With Raziel kind of beating his brooding behavior out of him and cause him to become disillusioned with the Night's Watch before he joins them.
Sansa:Sansa puts him on the same pedestal that she put Joffrey but Raziel never falls from it like Joffrey did. However, Raziel doesn't have much interest in her and it's against their betrothal because he has no intention of being a faithful husband and he would prefer to marry someone that doesn't mind.
Arya: Raziel considers Arya to be his favorite Stark. Arya starts to admire and idolize Raziel and develops a desire to be a member of his companions to the dismay of her parents.
Bran: Bran, just like Arya, idolizes Raziel. To the point of trying to imitate him, with variable degrees of success.
Rickon: They don't interact much but Raziel plays with him a lot and reads him stories from time to time.
mann...plzz continue it...I want catelyn to join as well... let him seduce all the milfs... and want a full blown banging with Cersei
If he is OK banging his mother, I'm gonna assume the half sister is in the harem?
Ever thought about changing the POV to the girls he has left behind so far? Like how they think about him, or write letters to him, or how dany interacts with his mom since he asked her to watch over his little dragon.
Count Catelyn out because he will have a terrible relationship with her because of his relationship with her Niece and because of what happens when he stayed at the Riverlands.
There might be some light incestuous gestures towards one another but...
I actually do plan on it.
Well the preview of little finger daughter actions are spicy. But I imagine it's not the worst she is willing to do three for her King. I am Magine her character yes she doesn't care how many women he sleeps with or impregnates as long she's with him everything's OK .
As long as she gets to either participate or watch, she doesn't care. Oh, there isn't a line that she wouldn't cross for her beloved Prince.
One of my favourite fanfics. Another great chapter, albeit a short one. Please update as soon as you can.
I apologize for the short chapter. And thanks
If you do any more previews in general can it show some of the hedonism and debauchery Raziel will get up to later either with the likes of Arianne and the Martells maybe Dany or anyone
Recently found the game of thrones graphic novel and the depiction of Catelyn in it is hot as hell so after Eddard likely meets a unfortunate end because he's Eddard any chance of Catelyn joining the harem after a appropriate amount of time has passed
Fine, but just a short one:
{
The strangeness of everything just kept increasing. The amount of different versions of what happened was starting to get ridiculous. Something that wasn't really bothering Raziel, because now he was completely welcome in Dorne. But now he was waiting because the Knight had an announcement to make in the name of his late lady. The only comfort that the Prince took from that tragedy, was the fact that he was able to deliver some justice to both houses. But he still enraged that the blue bearded bastard got away.
Right now however, the youngest knight who ever lived was looking for a different type of comfort. As he was sitting down while leaning next to the wall where his bed was located, wearing nothing but a sand colored robe. But the different type of comfort, was at the moment, staring at him with her blue eyes.
"So..." The voice of the Princess of Dorne, who was watching the two blue eyed individuals staring at one another. "Are you two just gonna stare at each other for the rest of your lives?" She asked them sarcastically. "Say something dirty and get going already."
Both, Raziel Baratheon and Tyene Sand moved their heads back to look at one another once again. Tyene then approached his face. "I like your mouth." She said that to him with a very soft voice.
"What?" He really didn't understood what she meant and looked to Arianna to some clarification.
"Beautiful," She commented while looking very bored. "If that's all you planning to do, maybe we should j-"
While Arianne was speaking however, Tyene put her hands on Raziel's shoulders and stood up in a surprising speed and buried her privates on Raziel's face . Taking both the Crown Prince and the Dornish Princess by surprise.
"Woah!" Arianna was surprised by her cousin's sudden action. "Didn't see that coming." There wasn't a single trace of boredom in her voice anymore.
Tyene then grabbed the Prince's head and pushed even deeper towards her cunt. Not that it was necessary as Raziel himself started to use his tongue as soon as his face was close enough.
It's so smooth... Raziel thought, as Tyene's hairless entry had a very pleasant sensation. Does all the Sand Snakes have a hairless cunt?He was genuinely curious as Obara's cunt was also hairless.
"Yessssss... Aahhhh..." Tyene made soft moans as Raziel's tongue entered her. He could feel both of her hands at the back of his head, pulling his head even deeper.
"By the seven, Tyene." Arianne spoke sound very surprised with what she was seeing. "What would your mother say?" She was obviously teasing her.
"Ahhh... To enjoy myself... Otherwise... The gods wouldn't make this feel so...Ohhhh... Great... Ahhhhh..." Tyene replied humorsly while trying to contain her moans.
That does sound like something that Lady Lemore would say. Raziel thought humorously as he circled his tongue inside of Tyene. I'm still shocked that Tyene is her daughter but I can see the resemblance, even though Lemore dyes her hair a different color. The black haired boy hoped that the friendly septa that helped him is doing well in Essos. Last he heard from her, she was serving as the spiritual tutor for someone named Griff.
"AAAAAHHHH..." Tyene's moans are getting loud and he can taste her cunt getting more and more wet. Raziel wasn't really expecting to see this side of her, he used to saw Tyene Sand as a sweet and innocent woman, but now, he actually thinks that she's the most dangerous daughter of Oberyn Martell.Which strangely makes him even more attracted to her.
He moved his blue eyes to the side in order to get a glimpse of the Princess of Dorne. Only to see the beautiful dornish woman touching herself through her dress as she watched him and her cousin with the same predatory look that all the Sand Snakes have. Daemon did said that she's much more similar in personality with Oberyn than with Doran.Though, I think he only said that because he fucked the two. Raziel still remembers his unfortunate confrontation with the Knight. I hope his leg is healing nicely. But that's what he gets from underestimating his opponent just because she was woman.Even though he was quite focused on pleasing the pale beauty, he had few thoughts in his mind. I wonder where Alayne is hidden this time, though she's probably loving what she's seeing. Alayne Rivers is possibly the only person that can hide that well from him, he knows that she's in the room watching what he was doing with Arianne and Tyene. But he can't figure it out where.
"Aaaaaaahhh..." Another moan came from Tyene, as a response, Raziel pushed his tongue deeper inside of her. "AAAAHH!...AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Suddenly, Tyene's juice went inside Raziel's mouth which he swallowed a bit by accident. Did she just...?
After that, Tyene gently pushed Raziel's face off her cunt and sat on top of him, panting heavily. They stared at each other's eyes, panting very heavily from what they just did. But Raziel had to know. "Did you..." He didn't had to finish.
"Yes." She confirmed to him. "Before you ask, that was the first time that happened."
He smiled while his face was still covered in her juice. "Good to know."
She smiled as well, before she approached her face and kissed him on the mouth that was pleasuring her just a second ago. Tyene wasn't really a good kisser but that didn't matter to Raziel. He just embraced the naked Sand Snake and gladly returned her kiss. The kiss lasted a few seconds, but it came to an end when he felt a hand on the nape of his neck. Upon separation, Raziel noticed that Arianne grabbed the back of both his and Tyene's head.
"Are you two forgetting that I'm right here?" She asked the two of them with a smirk. "Stick your tongues out." The Princess of Dorne ordered the two.
Raziel looked at Tyene in a slight confusion. Only to be met by the sight of her sticking her tongue out just like a snake does. While still confused, he decided to do the same. Once he did, however, Arianne pulled both of their heads close to hers and also stuck out her tongue. Suddenly their tongues were connecting with each other and enthralling a second later. Fuck, I love this! Raziel wrapped his arm around Arianne's torso in response and the triple kiss became much more intense. It lasted for a considerable amount of time as none of the three were willing to put an end to it.}
The rest would be a spoiler for the Dorne arc, but I hope you enjoyed.
