"Please, enter." Yasaka opened the door and walked in, Kunou and Rossweisse following after her and me walking in last as I closed the door behind me. Rias and Sona were sitting on an expensive sofa that was opposite another expensive sofa, Akeno and Tsubaki standing behind their respective Kings behind the sofa. Their peerages were scattered and standing near the walls, covering the windows and the other doors behind their sofas.
I was not worried about them seeing as I could kill all 11 of them before they could blink. My main concern were the four in the corners of the room.
Okita Souji, a former captain of the Shisengumi, the Ultimate Knight and the only Knight of Sirzechs Lucifer's peerage.
Surtr the Second, the Ultimate Rook and a Rook of Sirzechs Lucifer's peerage.
MacGregor Mathers, the Ultimate Bishop, a founder member of the Magicians association Golden Dawn and the only Bishop of Sirzechs Lucifer's peerage.
Beowulf, the descendant of the original Beowulf and a Pawn of Sirzechs Lucifer's peerage.
These four were all Satan-Class in power and from the intelligence I found in the Organization's Archive, I know that all of them together would be able to take on powerful gods from other mythologies. However, they were not the most powerful of the peerage. That spot belonged to the woman standing between the two sofas.
Grayfia Lucifer neè Lucifuge, the wife of Sirzechs Lucifer, the Strongest Queen and the Silver Haired Queen of Annihilation. With back-length silver hair that was done into twin braids and red eyes that matched her crimson lipstick, she was dressed in a blue and white French Maid outfit with long sleeves and a white maid hairband.
"A pleasure to meet you, representatives of the Greco-Norse-Shinto Alliance." Grayfia said with a bow and us four bowed back before Kunou and I sat down on the sofa opposite of Rias and Sona, with Yasaka and Rossweisse standing behind me. I guess I'm in charge of negotiations, then.
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Lady Lucifer, Lady Gremory, Lady Sitri." I said with a smile and she nodded before she gestured for Rias to speak.
"Like Grayfia said, it's a pleasure to meet you and thank you for taking time out of your day to meet us. Now, the subject of the meeting is simple. We wanted to meet you all and get acquainted as well as figure out which areas of Kuoh you'll be monitoring." I turned my head slightly to Yasaka and Rossweisse and they glanced at each other before they looked back at me and nodded. I nodded before turning back to the two heiresses.
"Well, what would you like to know?"
"Firstly, what are your names and which pantheons do you represent?"
"Yamamoto Yasaka, the head Shinto Maiden, Champion of Amaterasu Omikami and the representative of the Shinto Mythology Faction.." Yasaka said with a smile as she gave a slight bow. Rossweisse and I glanced at each other before I shrugged. I guess we're revealing our full status then.
"Rossweisse Friis, former assistant of the Allfather Odin, captain of the Valkyrie Magician Regiment, lieutenant of the Valkyrie Battalion and the representative of the Norse Mythology Faction." Rossweisse said with a bow.
"Theodore 'Theseus' Richards, commander of the Elite Division of the Huntsman Organization, the Arctic Huntsman, Demigod son of Poseidon, reincarnation of the original Theseus and representative of the Greco-Roman Mythology Faction." Instantly, the atmosphere of the room changes as the five Devils from Sirzechs' peerage tensed up as soon as I finished speaking, Rossweisse and Yasaka sighing. Rias, Sona and their respective peerages were awed at my heritage, though Rias as well as Sona has greedy looks in their eyes, even though Sona's was much more hidden away and I knew they wanted me in their peerages.
I value my freedom too much to agree to that request, however.
"Why did you have to mention that?" Yasaka muttered and I chuckled as I shrugged.
"For no reason whatsoever." I said and she just sighed as Kunou giggled.
"And the girl?" Rias asked only to be shocked as Yasaka glared up at her, a golden flame-like aura slowly emanating off her as Okita and Surtr glanced at her warily with their hands clenched.
"She's not someone you should concern yourself about." Rias gave a shaky nod as Sona sighed.
"Forgive her. She tends to not think before she speak." Yasaka just glared at her before she nodded and her aura disappeared, the tense atmosphere turning back to peaceful.
"I am Sona Sitri, younger sister of Serafall Leviathan, the heiress to House Sitri and one of the two overseers of Kuoh Town." She turned to Rias, who looked a bit nervous as she gave Yasaka a nervous glance.
"I-I am Rias Gremory, younger sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, the heiress to House Gremory and the second of the two overseers of Kuoh Town." I nodded before I spoke.
"Now that we're acquainted, you wanted to know which areas of Kuoh we'll be monitoring, correct?" Both girls nodded.
"Well, I'll be the only one doing the monitoring and I'll be using my Father's domains to keep track of everyone and everything entering and exiting the city."
That was the story we came up with. I will be monitoring the entire city, but not always as Yasaka will take over from late afternoon to the evening and Rossweisse will take over from early morning to midday. I will be monitoring from midday to late afternoon and from the evening to early in the morning, especially since just being doused in water will give me the same effects as having sleep for eight hours.
"And how will you be doing that? Kuoh Town might be a town, but it is still too big for just one person to monitor on his own." Sona asked with a raised eyebrow, having taken over the discussions for the two of them.
"I'm very good at keeping track of people." I said with a grin and she sighed before nodding as I chuckled.
"Well, this was a nice and short meeting, but unfortunately, we must be going. Until we meet again tomorrow."
"Of course and thank you for coming, Theodore-sensei." She said as she switched to honorifics and I chuckled as I stood up and bowed, following the girls out.
"Before you all leave, I have a request." I heard Rias ask and I sighed softly as I noticed Yasaka shift slightly. Surtr and Beowulf must have seen her get annoyed as well as they tensed slightly and gestured subtly to Okita and MacGregor. The two of them also noticed her tense posture as Okita's grip on his katanas tightened and I felt MacGregor slowly build up magic.
"Yes?" I asked as I turned around.
"Would any of you like to join my peerage?" She asked as she gave her best saleswoman smile. I just smiled and shook my head.
"Unfortunately, no. None of us are looking to become devils."
"Oh, that's a shame, but what about the girl?" She asked as she pointed at a slightly frightened Kunou, who was hiding behind her mother.
Did...did she not learn from the first time or is she just that brave?
I noticed Yasaka's aura reappear as her fingernails grew longer and a growl echoed throughout the room. She disappeared before reappearing in front of a fearful Rias. Okita, Surtr and Beowulf were already attacking her from all sides with Grayfia creating barriers to protect the two heiresses as MacGregor send magic blasts at Kunou. The peerage members quickly moved from the walls in order to attack us as the magic blasts from MacGregor were quickly blocked by Rossweisse.
"Everyone, calm down!" I muttered out as my eyes glowed a bright blue. Everyone, except for Kunou and Rossweisse, were completely frozen in place, unable to even move a muscle as I sighed.
Blood manipulation always was a bit hard to do on many people that are strong.
Lifting a hand, Yasaka was also lifted a bit into the air and I quickly moved her towards me, putting her frozen state next to me before letting everyone go.
"Be calm, Yasaka. She is safe." I muttered as I put a hand on her shoulder, Yasaka's growling slowly dying down as the Devils all gathered around the two heiresses and Grayfia as if to shield them from us.
"…I'm fine. I'm fine." She muttered as her aura disappeared and I nodded, removing my hand from her shoulder as she hugged Kunou behind me. I turned back to the wall of Devils and took a single step forward, reappearing in front of the two heiresses as I held two daggers made out of sky-blue water and imbued with Divine energy against their throats. The other Devils would have moved if they also did not have the same daggers held against their throats as well, their eyes wide in fear as they dared not move a muscle.
"Listen and listen well. I want all Devils to stay away from Kunou and I want your brother to remove the Devils he has monitoring her every movement. Yes, I know about them. If you do not do as I say, I will find you, I will come for you and I will kill you. That may mean we'll have to go to war, but I'm sure Devil-Kind does not have the power to take on the entirety of the Norse, Shinto and Greco-Roman pantheons all by yourselves. Am I clear?"
"C-Crystal." Sona muttered and I smiled before I reappeared right besides Yasaka, the daggers disappearing as they all gasped for air.
"Good! Now then, like I said. I'll be doing the monitoring, so I'll know if you keep up your end of your promise, ladies. See you all at the next P.E. Class." I said as I waved over my shoulders, Yasaka, Rossweisse and Kunou following after me as we walked out of the room and out of the building.
"You okay, Kunou?" I asked as soon as we got far away from the building. She just gave a nod and I smiled softly.
"Hey, everything is going to alright. All you need to worry about is getting good grades and making sure you enjoy your life. You leave the evil, stupid Devils to me, understand?" I asked with a grin as I held a fist up and she giggled as she bumped it. I chuckled as I ruffled her hair and she pouted as she smacked my hand away, trying to fix it.
"Thank you." Yasaka muttered as Kunou now walked in front of us, unaware of the conversation.
"My pleasure. Besides, now they know not to come after Kunou if they want to live." She giggled as she wrapped her arms around my left and leaned her head against my shoulder. I noticed Rossweisse longing stare that she tried to hide and I grinned as I lifted my right arm.
"There's room for one more." She squeaked as soon as I said that, flushing red as I heard Yasaka giggle.
"N-No t-thank you. I-I'm quite alright." "You sure?" I asked with a smirk and here she hesitated as she glanced at me before looking at Yasaka. I felt her nod before Rossweisse turned almost crimson as she tentatively walked closer and I chuckled as I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her tightly against me. She eep-ed as she quickly wrapped an arm around my waist, only to freeze as I heard Yasaka giggle.
"Ara-Ara~ Rose-chan, you sure are bold~" I looked behind me and almost burst out with laughter as I saw Rossweisse's hand firmly grasping a handful Yasaka's ass. Man, she's even bolder than I am.
"I-I-I-I-I" She tried to explain and I grinned as Yasaka giggled.
"It's quite alright. Now, why don't we hurry on home and cook dinner? I'm sure our knight in shining armour must be very hungry." She said as we began walking back to the car, catching sight of Kunou waiting for us by the car.
"Famished actually, but why can't I cook this time?"
"Because it's a woman's job to cook for the man of the house and because I said so, mister." Yasaka said as she tapped a finger against my chest and I rolled my eyes as Rossweisse giggled.
"Fine~But I'm drinking something other than Sake. My throat still burns from last night." I grumbled and they both giggled as I let go of Rossweisse and Yasaka let go of my arm, allowing me to open the trunk and put our stuff away. I opened the doors and climbed into the driver's seat, Rossweisse sitting in the passenger's seat next to me and Yasaka and Kunou sitting in the back.
"Everyone ready to go home?"
"Uh-huh!" Kunou cheered with a bright smile and we all chuckled as I slowly pulled out of the parking lot and began driving home. A minute later, I was smirking with amusement as I watched Kunou sleeping peacefully, her head resting on Yasaka's lap as Yasaka slowly rubbed her head.
Later that Night:
I was sitting on a bench in a tower that was built in the middle of the courtyard of the house, about three stories tall and allowing me to view the entirety of our neighbourhood. I was dressed in just a pair of black pyjama pants and nothing else, my feet and upper body bare as I sipped from a glass of whiskey I poured before I came up here.
Sitting up here was where I could use my Father's domains to the fullest, using his domain over earthquakes to create a seismic sense of sorts that covered the entire city and his domain over the ocean to use the humidity in the air to sense everything else that my Seismic Sense could not.
"And here I thought it was still my turn." I heard Yasaka say and turned my head to see her walking up the stairs of the tower, a glass of wine in her hand. I whistled lowly as I saw what she had on and she giggled as she gave a little twirl. A black low-cut negligee that covered the important bits while leaving everything else exposed, giving anyone who looked a tantalizing view.
"I thought you were asleep." I asked as I still felt her sleeping next to Kunou and she giggled as she sat next to me while looking out at the neighbourhood. I turned back to looking out as she spoke.
"A clone of mine. Our senses are shared at all times and I experiences it experiences, so if I dispel it once it wakes up, it will be as if I slept the entire time." I smiled and nodded as I took another sip before she spoke.
"You know…it's nice to have someone I can trust with Kunou out here, especially since I'm so used to her brother being able to protect both of us at all times."
"Like I said, it's my pleasure to do so. She's so much better than the usual fans I have to deal with." She giggled at the frown on my face.
"Bad?"
"Much worse than bad." I muttered and she smiled as she rubbed my back.
"Oh you poor baby~Don't worry. Yasaka is here to protect you from the big bad fangirls~" She said as she wrapped an arm around my shoulders and I chuckled as I wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Ah, my priestess in shining armour." I said and she giggled as she whacked me softly on the back.
"I might just get a piece of armour to make that statement true." I just kept on chuckling as we kept drinking from our glasses in silence, the air content as we stared out into the houses for who knows how long.
"Oh! Am…Am I interrupting something?" Rossweisse's voice asked from behind us and we both turned before Yasaka was the one to whistle lowly as my eyes just widened. Rossweisse was carrying a few books, magical tomes most likely.
The thing that caught our attention was the fact that she had on an oversized light blue shirt and nothing else, revealing her creamy white thighs as her silver hair was loose and hung like a shimmering curtain of silver behind her that stretched towards the back of her thighs. The way her skin and hair shone in the moonlight was enough to knock both our breaths away and she blushed as she looked at the ground.
"Not at all. Come join us. We're staying up for the night." I said as I finished gawking and she smiled shyly and nodded as she sat down on the bench next to me, placing her books besides her as she stared out into the neighbourhood with a deep breath.
"Drink?" Yasaka asked and I just noticed she pulled out another glass and the wine bottle from which she was drinking. Where she pulled them from, I'd rather not know.
"N-No thank you! I'm still not old enough to drink and I'm not exactly a fan of alcohol." Yasaka and I glanced at each other in confusion before I turned to look at her.
"Wait, how old are you?"
"18 years old." She said shyly and both our eyes widened as she blushed.
…Yeah, I almost went to jail for that one.
"…Damn." Was all I said and they both giggled.
"Wait, if you're 18, why aren't you old enough to drink? In fact, aren't you Valkyries allowed to drink by the time you're 15?" At least, that's what the information we have on Valkyries said.
"Yes we are, but my paternal side of my family is from the USA and they'd rather I wait until I'm 21 before I take any sort of beverage."
"Well, they're not here and one glass won't hurt." Yasaka said and Rossweisse looked a bit hesitant before she nodded.
"Okay, I guess one glass might not hurt." Yasaka cheered at that as she poured another glass for both of them and I chuckled.
Oh, how I regretted letting her drink that day.
A/N: Okay, so these short chapters are actually fun to write, so I'm going to keep doing so. I have made a , but it's still a work in progress, so there's nothing there and I don't want anyone to waste their money. I'll probably make another announcement of when it's fully completed as well as a link towards it.
I know there are those that might be peeved on how he's able to freeze Grayfia and the four members of Sirzechs' peerage just like that, so this is a ranking of the members of the organization and a Bingo Book on supernatural species.
