A/N: Early upload since tomorrow is my grandma's birthday and I don't think I'll be able to upload it.
A Month Later:
"Okay, ladies! We've had a month of training and even though I think we're ready, you ladies don't think you are, so today I want you to play at your best and show them your hard work! Can I count on you ladies to do that?!"
"Yes, coach!" They all shouted and I grinned.
"Well, go out there and show me! Kuoh on three! One! Two! Three!" "Kuoh!" They broke the huddle as they ran out the field, with me clapping as the parents and other students in the bleachers cheered and clapped loudly for them.
We were playing Matzukoi High, another all-girls school, for a chance to go on to the first round of the Japan Girls High School Football Nationals. According to the girls as well as everyone I've spoke to, they're supposed to a team that is all but guaranteed to move on.
Let's destroy those guarantees, shall we?
The girls spread out into their formation and as Yusada glanced at me, I gave a nod and a thumbs-up. She smiled and nodded as she took a deep breath before the ref blew the whistle.
Two Hours Later:
"And three…two…one…it's over! With a giant upset, Kuoh Academy wins 5-1, moving on to the first round of the Japan Girls High School Football Nationals!" The announcer shouted, Kuoh's students and parents cheering loudly as the other team's coach looked shocked at their loss. The coach turned that shocked stare to me and I just grinned widely as the girls hugged a smiling Yusada tightly, who had scored a hat-trick in just the first half along with assisting the other two.
"That's my team! See?! I told you girls you would win!" I shouted, the girls cheering just as loud and I laughed.
"Looks like we were wrong, coach." Yusada said with a smile and I chuckled as I shrugged.
"I'll take a bowl of tempura as an apology." I said shamelessly, making them giggle before I noticed the Kuoh students coming closer.
"Go and celebrate with your friends. Just remember, training's not stopping. In fact, with this win, we have to work harder to keep up our momentum."
"Yes, sensei!" They all nodded before moving to the students, their friends congratulating and cheering with them as they walked away.
"…Passive enhancement runes that lets them recuperate faster along with accelerating their physical and mental capabilities. That's impressive, but is that not cheating?" I heard Rossweisse's voice next to me and turned to see her, Kunou and Yasaka walking towards me.
Yasaka, Kunou and Rossweisse were dressed in yellow, gold and white sun dresses respectively, with all three wearing magenta and black Kuoh Academy caps. Both Yasaka and Rossweisse also had handbags that matched their dresses in colours.
"I only use those during training. I turn off the runes while they were playing, so they were playing with their own skills and abilities." I said with a smile and Rossweisse nodded as if satisfied. I guess she really doesn't like cheating, huh?
"That was a lot more entertaining than I thought I would be. Your…eccentric cheering made it even better," Yasaka said and I chuckled.
"What? You expected me to be one of those dull, grumpy coaches? Let it be known that the fun and goofy Theodore Richards is an entertainer by heart and always makes sure the crowd is satisfied." I said with a nod, Kunou nodding along in agreement, to which I gave her a thumbs-up as Rossweisse and Yasaka giggled.
"By the way, I see a few not-so-subtle suggestive glances aimed at you." Yasaka said and I quickly glanced up, smirking in amusement as I saw some of the single mothers of the team as well as the single mothers of the students here staring at me. They were probably asking their kids questions about me from the way they kept glancing and pointing at me.
"Meh, they're not as captivating, fun and lovely as you two, so I don't care." I said with a shrug, smirking as I saw the brightly red Rossweisse and the slight flush on Yasaka's face as she giggled softly to herself. I winced as I felt a slight pain on my leg, looking down to see Kunou pouting and glaring cutely at me.
"No getting together with your mother until I meet your brother, I know." I said and she just kept glaring, confusing me before it clicked.
"Also, their kids are not as fun as lovely as my favourite friend, so there's no way I'm going to them." Finally, she gave a happy smile as she nodded, Yasaka and Rossweisse looking amused as I gave them an exasperated stare.
"Who wants to eat out? I'm sure you ladies are tired of cooking and I feel like eating something expensive."
"As long as you're paying." I gave her an affronted stare.
"Of course. It's the least I could do for you ladies." She gave a nod and Rossweisse nodded as well before I looked down at the thoughtful Kunou.
"…Can I have a sundae?"
"We're buying fifty sundaes." I said with a grin, which she mirrored as she quickly pulled me towards the car.
"Remember, girls! Training tomorrow!"
"Okay, sensei!" The girls shouted as they giggled, watching Kunou pulling me away as Rossweisse and Yasaka just followed us while giggling.
Later that night:
"I told you 12 sundaes were too many." Kunou just groaned softly as she laid in my arms and I chuckled as Yasaka giggled, opening their door. I walked in and noted the ancient Japan-themed room. Walking to a king-sized bed covered in silk and linen covers and a comforter embroidered with a blond kitsune on it, Yasaka lifted the comforter and I placed her on the bed before Yasaka put the comforter over her.
"Thank you for the night." Yasaka said as we walked out the room and closed the door. I just smiled as I felt Rossweisse already asleep in her room.
She's really going to hate us for discreetly giving her four glasses of wine again.
"My pleasure, but next time, I'm going to let you be in charge of the dessert limit." She just smiled and nodded before she pulled me closer by the arm and gave me a quick peck on the cheek, just a millimetre to the side of my lips. I raised an eyebrow and she giggled.
"A payment for the great night."
"I need to start doing more stuff like this if that's going to be my payment."
"Who knows? Maybe you'll even get a raise?" She said with a teasing smirk and I grinned.
"Now, I definitely need to start doing it." I said as I moved closer, which she didn't seem to mind as she kept holding onto my hand while also moving closer.
"No flirting." We heard Kunou mumble from inside the room and Yasaka sighed softly as I chuckled, with her releasing my hand as she gave another smile before opening the door.
"Good night, Theo."
"Good night, 'Foxy Lady'." I said, using the corny nickname I used the first time and she just giggled as she closed the door behind her, with me sighing as I looked down at the raging war on the front of my pants. '
I fucking hate my libido.' I thought with a sigh, walking back to my room.
Another day, another war to be fought.
The Next Day:
It was a Saturday morning. Kuoh Academy doesn't believe in six day a week schooldays like the other schools of Japan and every single of its divisions were the No.1 in Japan, so they had the record to back up their confidence. Kunou and I were sipping on our glasses of ice cold grape juice(Kunou's favourite) as we stared at Yasaka and Rossweisse doing yoga in the backyard.
Or at least, that was the plan.
"A sparring match?" I repeated what I just heard and Yasaka nodded. She was dressed in a gold form fitting shirt and gold leggings with black lines on it as her hair was tied into a high ponytail. Rossweisse was dressed exactly the same, with silver replacing the gold and they had just finished their final exercise, a slight sheen of sweat on their skin as Yasaka's shirt strained to keep her chest contained. I was just dressed in a pair of blue shorts, a light blue shirt and dark blue sandals as Kunou was still in her kitsune onesie, with her nine fluffy tails out to act as her cushion.
"Yes. Since you and I are going to be the frontline fighters with Rossweisse acting as the healer/ support, I want to see how you fight and perhaps think of a few combo attacks."
"Uh, I'm not sure. I wouldn't want to get too into the fight and hurt you by accident." I said with a teasing smirk and she just giggled.
"I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself. Also, do you really want to miss out on a chance to get real…intimate with me?" As she said that, she took a deep breath as she raised her arms above her head and I just stared as I followed one sweat droplet slowly roll down her chest and in between her cleavage.
"Okay, let's get this fight started." I said as I downed my juice in one gulp before jumping to my feet, the girls giggling as I stretched before we walked to the middle of the clearing.
"So how are we doing this? First to be pinned? First blood? Go until someone is unconscious?"
"Um, let's go with first blood." She said and I nodded as I bounced on my heels.
"Begin whenever-!" I barely finished speaking as I moved to the left, a kick tearing through the air where my head was. I raised an eyebrow as I followed the leg, Yasaka perfectly balancing on one leg as she winked at me and I chuckled. Her leg whipped towards me and I just blocked it with a smile, grasping it before throwing her back. She flipped through the air gracefully and landed on the ground, her teasing smirk still on her face.
"Okay then." I muttered before I blurred, Yasaka jumping into the air to avoid my leg sweep. Not done, I quickly pushed myself back up, her eyes widening as I grabbed her by the throat before pushing her into the ground. She gasped as she slammed into the ground before freezing as she felt something against her throat, looking down to see the small needle I held against her throat as it slightly penetrated the skin. I just stared down into her golden eyes before I looked down to see the dagger made out of flames pressed against my crotch, ready to cut off my family jewels.
"Again?" I asked and she smiled as she shook her head.
"No need. I've already figured out how you fight." As I dissipated the needle, I quickly grasped the leg that was trying to hook around my own, gripping her thigh as she gasped softly before giving me a mischievous grin.
"Ara-Ara~ I'm a mere maiden in the grasp of a ferocious monster. Please be gentle, Mr. Monster~" She said with a cute pleading look on her face, slowly taking deep breaths to accentuate her chest and licking her lips.
"You're a real tease."I muttered and let out a deep sigh as I stood up, Yasaka giggling as both Kunou and Rossweisse were bright red.
"Kaa-san!" Kunou whined and she just giggled.
"Kaa-san's just kidding, Kunou-chan!" Kunou just pouted as Rossweisse was intently staring at the ground, not daring to look up.
"Well then. We ladies are going to take a shower and no, you are not making breakfast. You are going to take a shower and then sit down at your seat at the dining room table as we prepare breakfast. Then we're going on a little outing like a happy family before we come back home and just relax for the day. Am I clear, mister?"
"Yes, ma'am." I said with an eccentric salute, with her giving an over-exaggerated nod before we broke and laughed as she, along with the still red duo, walked to their rooms to wash. I just sighed with a soft smile as I walked to my bathroom.
Taking a quick wash, I was the first out as I walked to the dining room, now dressed in a pair of blue jeans, dark blue sneakers, a blue form fitting shirt with a black kraken logo on the front and a black jacket with a large blue killer whale on the black. Taking off my jacket, I poured myself a glass of sake and didn't wait long before Kunou walked in, dressed in a red knee-high skirt, red shoes and a white shirt with a golden kitsune on the right side of her chest. Her hair was made into twin pigtails with red bows neatly tied to the ends and she had a small purse hanging over her right shoulder.
"Well, look at you, all dressed up." She giggled as she sat down next to me, giving me a soft punch on the arm as I laughed.
"I assume they're making breakfast like they said." She nodded and I sighed, taking a sip from the sake as she pulled out a grape juice box out of nowhere and began to drink from it.
"So, school still fun?" She stopped drinking as a happy smile appeared on her face.
"Yep! It's much more fun than Kaa-san made it out to be. Actually, I wanted to ask you something." I nodded for her to continue.
"A few friends I made wanted to come have a sleep over and I did ask Kaa-san, but she said I had to ask you." I raised an eyebrow, a bit confused.
"I thought this was her house, not mine." "She said I had to ask the man of the house since the house is his castle." As she said that, I just sighed.
Looks like someone is just putting more work on my shoulders.
"Is it not good? Should I just say no?" She looked a bit panicky and I just gave her a smile.
"Everything's alright, Kunou. As for the answer to your question, you have friends over for a sleepover. It's not a problem at all." Her face brightened up as she cheered, giving me a tight hug. I just smiled as I patted her on the head.
"Thank you! I'll go tell Kaa-san!" And she was gone before I could blink, walking fast towards the kitchen. I just chuckled as I finished off my sake, feeling the now soothing burn instead of the scorching, choking one I felt from when I first drank it. Pouring myself another glass, I heard three pairs of footsteps before the doors opened, revealing Kunou, Yasaka and Rossweisse carrying in bowl after bowl.
When they finished putting down the bowls of food, there were an assortment of dishes in front of us, with Yasaka giving everyone their eating utensils and Rossweisse putting everyone's plates down. There's no way they made all of this that fast.
"What's the occasion?" I asked as I stared at the feast in front of me and the two of them just giggled.
"A payment for the restaurant last night." I chuckled as I nodded, both of them sitting down on my left(Rossweisse) and right side(Yasaka) before they turned to me.
"Itadakimasu~!" When in Rome, do as the Romans do…or in this case, the Japanese. Finishing our prayer, we began eating, the sounds of utensils on the plate being the only sounds as we finished the meals. I have to admit, they ate a lot of the food, but I devoured nearly half of it as I still can't get enough of their cooking. It was just that heavenly.
Not on the same level as Mom's cooking, though. Nothing will beat her cooking.
"Well, we're all fed, so now, it's time for the outing!" Yasaka cheered, Kunou cheering with her as we finished clearing the table. I just let out a soft sigh as Rossweisse giggled.
"Are we taking the car?" I asked and Yasaka nodded, with me nodding as I walked to go pick up my keys.
Let's get this outing started.
ORC Clubroom:
3rd POV:
"And you're certain they didn't see you?" Rias asked and Koneko nodded, with her giving a relieved smile and a nod before dismissing Koneko.
"Are you sure this is the best course of action?" Sona asked Rias and she nodded, her focus now on the chess board in front of her.
"I'll be a little arrogant and antagonise them while you, as well as the members of our peerages, build a bond with the silver-haired Valkyrie. After a while, I'll apologise for my actions and the demigod will forgive me, forcing Yasaka to forgive me for my actions as well. If all goes well, we'll have strong allies by the end of it and I'll have allies that can help me with my marriage. A win-win for everyone." She noticed Sona' frown and sighed.
"I know this is not the plan you wanted to use, but us being friendly to them from the start may have worked, but it would have also made them raise their guards a bit and we would have to work harder than necessary to get them to trust us. With this plan, they'll raise their guards fully towards me and not you, allowing you to sway them slightly and possibly getting long-term allies for our houses."
"…Fine, I trust you. Also, checkmate."
"Oh, come on!" Sona has to admit, Rias' over-exaggerated and childish raging over losing a game was actually what started their friendship and she wouldn't have it any other way. Now, if only she could get the redhead to shorten those raging moments to be shorter than the average 30 minutes they lasted, everything in her life would be alright.
Except for her clingy and kinky older sister, but that's a matter she'd rather leave to fate.
A/N: There you go. A small, but quick battle. I don't want to make a character that's able to take on anything he wants and since Yasaka is a kyubi(known for their tricks and deceit) I wanted to do something that would fit her.
Anyway, those who thought this was a Rias bashing fic…you thought wrong! I have to admit, I did hate Rias a little bit, but I have to admit she does have the brains and the intellect to be a good leader, so I wanted to justify that in this story with her covert and manipulative strategies.
