"Are you sure all of us are even needed, Captain? I'm pretty sure even just us lieutenants are overkill." I heard one of my lieutenants whine before the other whacked him across the back of his head.
"Ow! What the hell was that for, Siegfried?" The white-haired, crimson-eyed man in question just raised an eyebrow, dressed in a black priest coat, a white dress shirt, black boots and black pants with a belt that had five different coloured swords and a sword handle hanging from it.
Siegfried, the inheritor of the spirit of Siegfried, the wielder of the Strongest Demon Sword Gram and one of my lieutenants.
"You're being annoying, Cao-Cao. Remember what happened the last time you were annoying?" The man with short black hair, blue eyes and dressed in a combination of a Japanese school uniform & ancient Chinese attire, just gulped slightly as he glanced to the side, paling at the blonde haired, blue-eyed woman's glare, who was dressed in a royal golden armour with a rapier at her side.
Cao-Cao, inheritor of the spirit of Cao Cao of the Three Kingdoms, the wielder of the most powerful Longinus, the True Longinus, and my second lieutenant.
"H-Hehe, come on, Jeanne. T-There's no need for violence."
"Go die in a forest, Cao-Cao." Was all she said before turning back to face me, making me chuckle as Cao-Cao just rolled his eyes.
Jeanne d'Arc, the inheritor of the spirit of Joan of Arc, the Maiden of Orleans, wielder of the Sacred Gear Blade Blacksmith and the lieutenant of the 4th Division.
"Now, now, Jeanne. There's no need to wish death on your fellow lieutenant." Georgios said with a smile and instantly, she turned into a happy girl as she nodded with a bright smile.
"Of course, Captain." She said in a cheery voice, making him chuckle as I just smirked. Everyone but him knew of the crush she had on him, but I knew he knew of her crush and was just waiting for the right moment to ask her out.
When that moment will be, only he knows.
"Gigigigigi! I wonder how much blood I'll get to drink today. Oh, will my dears be able to quench their monstrous thirst?" Everyone sighed as I just chuckled, turning to the voice in question. A man dressed in a black cloak and a top hat, caressing four crimson daggers with jagged blades and hooked blade tips as he grinned.
"Jack, keep your fantasies to yourself, please." Holmes just chuckled at his lieutenant's antics as Jack stared at us with a slight blush.
"Ah! Sorry about that!" I just shook my head with a smile as he went back to speaking softly with his 'ladies'.
Jack the Ripper, the Immortal Scourge of London and the lieutenant of the 6th Division.
"Ah, Connla, Hassan! You're back! I assume you have the intel?" I asked as the hooded figure of Hassan and a man with black hair in a bun, dressed in a black bodysuit with black glasses, walked into the command room of the outpost we were in, just a few miles away from Transylvania.
If not for Isaac and Tesla's concealment runes, we would've been caught a long time ago.
"Yes, sir." Connla said as he knelt and pulled out a stack of papers and documents from his shadow before handing it to me, which I took with a smile and a nod.
Connla, the inheritor of the spirit of Connla, wielder of the Sacred Gear Night Reflection and the lieutenant of the 2nd Division.
"It seems they're expecting us already, but…these are way too little guards to be patrolling the parameter. Did you check inside?" I asked Hassan and he nodded, with Connla being his voice once again.
"We checked Transylvania as well as the neighbouring vampire covens and colonies. They're all waiting for an assault from us, but Lord Tepes refused to let them be at his side for combat. He even killed a messenger from one of their ally covens and told them that he does not need their help for they have their trump card?"
"The Sephiroth Graal wielder?" I asked as I stared at the bit of intel of the dhampir girl, a bit surprised, and Hassan nodded.
"No, Jack and Holmes. You two are not dissecting her." I shot down their requests instantly, making them groan as everyone else just shook their heads.
"I assume Isaac, Nikola and Samson are in position along with their lieutenants." Hassan nodded and I smiled before I rolled up the map, passing the paperwork along for the others to read.
"Hassan, it's time for the shadows to awaken." Hassan nodded before his shadow grew to a monstrous size and rose from the ground to envelop him completely, completely covering him like some sort of cocoon. There was a loud heartbeat for the next few seconds before the cocoon broke and dozens of shadowed figures with white masks rushed towards the shadows of the room, diving into them and disappearing from sight.
"Good luck, Elite Captain" Connla said with a nod as shadow tendrils rose from the ground and covered his entire body, creating a black-shadow armour around him before he slowly sunk into his own shadow.
"No matter how many times I see the awakening, it's still creepy." Cao-Cao muttered from behind me and I smirked as both Jeanne and Siegfried whacked him across the back of his back, making him groan as Jack just giggled.
"Everyone, let's go and finish this hunt. I don't want to waste any time." I said and everyone instantly nodded before Georgios spoke.
"You just want to return to the lovely maidens of your home?" He said with a smile and I just smirked as they all chuckled before disappearing with teleportation crests, leaving me alone with Cao-Cao and Siegfried.
"So, Captain, what are we doing?" Cao-Cao asked with a lazy smirk and I just shook my head with a smile before walking out of the room, Siegfried burning the paperwork and the map with one of his swords before following Cao-Cao and I out of the suite.
"The others are going to be wiping out the allied covens of the Tepes Coven. Us three are going straight for the leaders. Cao-Cao, you're going to be hunting all of the lower-ranked Tepes vampires in the clan. If they're innocent, you can spare them and I'll come check if they are. Siegfried, you're going to searching for that Tepes Dhampir. I want you to rescue her and take her as far away from the Coven grounds as you can. Bring her back to this suite and try to keep her calm while everyone's out." Both nodded before Cao-Cao grinned at me.
"And what are you going to be doing, Captain?" I just chuckled as I turned back to look at them, both guys paling slightly at the cold mist coming out of my mouth and the bright green glow in my eyes.
"I'm just going to make sure that the leaders have someone to play with." And with that said, a green crest appeared under us before we teleported away.
In Transylvania:
With Theo:
As we reappeared just outside the main gate of the Tepes Castle compound, the vampire fledgling guards only had chance for their eyes to widen in shock before javelins infused with my divine energy pierced their heads and exploded, sending brain matter flying everywhere.
"Get to work."
"Right!/ Right!" Both men nodded before they disappeared from my side, with Siegfried rushing directly for the castle door as Cao-Cao just went around the entire yard and slaughtered all of the vampires in his path while sparing those who surrendered or didn't even tried to fight.
"And here I thought I would need to remind him." He's grown from that bratty, arrogant dude I fought a few years back who thought that all races that are not humans should be wiped off the Earth.
With a smile, I began to slowly walk towards the opened door, ignoring the puddles of blood and the piles of bodies scattered around me as well as the screams of pain and agony in the background. As I walked in the castle, I sighed slightly as I saw a few women and children huddled frightened to the side with Siegfried staring at them, a green blade in his right hand and a dark purple blade in his left, while a pile of disemboweled and dismembered bodies was behind him.
"Sieg, your mission was just to get the Dhampir girl." I groaned softly as I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"They attacked first." Was all he said as he pointed the purple blade at the bodies and I sighed before I stared at the vampires in front of him.
"Good evening. Apologies for this, but your King has threatened the Huntsmen Organization. We're just making sure that him, along with any other threat to the Organization, is eliminated. If you're complacent with us and do not attack, I can guarantee that you will to be harmed and even be allowed to join another coven as long as you do not seek revenge." They all nodded with fearful looks and I smiled before blood spears sprung from the ground and pierced the heads of five women and two children, exploding into spiked balls and completely destroying their heads.
"They were thinking about killing me while my back is turned. Now, why don't you all go wait outside in the courtyard while we go kill the King and his advisors? Please do not try to run and/ or escape. My men are ordered to kill anyone that tries to escape without me letting them." That was a lie, but they didn't need to know that. They all nodded rapidly in fear before slowly walking to stand outside in the courtyard and I sighed before turning to Siegfried.
"This time, go and finish your mission. Kill ANYONE that tries to get in your way, no matter who they are. The Dhampir girl takes priority over all else, understood?"
"Yes, Captain." And with that, he quickly rushed off down the left hallway, going to fulfill his mission. I just chuckled before I continued walking forward, taking a few lefts and rights before I smiled as double doors made out of black oak with insignias of crimson women being bitten and/ or assaulted by vampires on them. I just smiled as I raised a leg before stomping hard on the door, both flying backwards fast and just barely missing the head of the man sitting in a throne in the back of the large room.
He, along with his 12 advisors, were all dressed in crimson formal suits/ dresses with black high collared cloaks and they all already had their tattered bat-wings wrapped around their waists.
"Ah, you must be the Tepes bastard who wants to kill me?" I said with a smile as I came to a standstill just a few meters away from them, his advisors growling as Tepes just smirked arrogantly, though I could see the rage burning in his eyes.
"And you must be the captain who thought he could live a long life after slaughtering my closest friends and allies?" I just chuckled as I bowed, piercing the chests of the two Lords and ripping their hearts with my hands as they tried to attack me while I wasn't looking. They all, Tepes included, looked shocked at my actions and I just smiled as I crushed the hearts, the bodies of the two Lords inflating before splattering blood everywhere.
"Now then, can we please get on with me killing you? You're wasting my precious time." I said with a smile and that was the cue as all of his advisors rushed at me, Tepes choosing to sit in his throne and waiting for the right opportunity to strike. I just smiled as I easily dodged and parried their attacks, all the while not looking away from Tepes, who was slowly getting frustrated at my easygoing smile. A few of them had summoned their blood familiars and shadow monsters to help attack me, but a single punch/ kick was enough to disintegrate the High-Class monsters.
'I'm wasting time.' I thought with a frown before I took a deep breath and began clean-up duty. With a step, I was behind the furthest one, the vampire barely turning his head before his head disappeared in a splatter of blood and brain matter as I punched it into oblivion.
"Vla-!" One of the Lord tried to screech, but was cut off by me grabbing his throat and slamming him headfirst into the ground. He got buried headfirst, but I didn't stop there as I grabbed his leg before pulling him out, slamming him into the vampire lord that tried to attack me from behind. Creating a spiked mace made out of divine-energy imbued water, they both had no time to move away as I slammed the mace down hard, completely disintegrating everything above their waist in a spray of red. I quickly twisted around and molded the mace into a spear before quickly parrying the attacks of the others. They've finally decided to all just rush me and hope that one of them can deal me a fatal blow.
Unfortunately, it's all too late.
"Let's dance." I muttered as the spear transformed into a xiphos and with a grin, I blitzed past them all. Reappearing behind them, I grinned up at Tepes as I raised the xiphos before letting it drop on the ground, the vampire lords/ ladies slowly disintegrating as they fell to the ground.
"Now then, will you finally let me kill you or are you going to struggle too?" I asked with a smirk, noticing the rage burning in his eyes before he smothered it and a smirk appeared on his face. I was a bit confused until he pulled out a vial and inside it was a small snake made out of purple miasma. He popped the cork off the vial and grinned victoriously at me.
"Marius thought I would not notice, but he doesn't know that I took this from him. Now, despair! Wail in grief and agony as I-!"
"This feels familiar." I muttered as I stared at the vial in my right hand, the snake inside it staring back as I held the cork in my right hand. Tepes looked surprised at seeing the vial in my hands before he grew horrified as he noticed that his hands were empty.
"H-H-How?" He muttered and I chuckled as I put the cork back on before putting the vial in the pocket on the inside of my jacket, smirking at him as I pulled out a jar of black water from my pocket dimension
. "Why would I tell you my secrets? You vampires are just too arrogant for your own good, huh?" I said with a slight smile as I poured the water onto the ground, the ground around me frosting over as a cold chill rolled throughout the ground.
"Now, allow me to subject to an eternity of frozen misery." I said with a smile as I raised my right hand, the black water rising up with it before it rocketed towards Tepes. He barely had time for his eyes to widen and to gasp before he was enveloped by the water, the last thing he saw being my bright green eyes staring back at him with amusement before the water completely froze over.
And that's my part done. Wonder how the other's are doing?
3rd Person POV:
With Cao Cao:
"Captain's going to kill me." Cao Cao muttered as he stared at the crowd of scared vampire, dhampir and human women and children, all of them huddled into a group as he sat on a pile of corpses that were slowly disintegrating.
"Yeah, he's definitely going to kill me." Cao Cao muttered with a sigh as he jumped down, landing in front of the terrified crowd with his best award-winning smile on.
Time to calm down the family members of the men he just killed.
With Siegfried:
"Where the hell are the peasant guards?! What is happening on the surface?!" A pale man muttered, dressed in a crimson royal outfit as his black hair was slicked back and his red eyes glared at the large black double doors in front of him.
"…"The woman behind was just staring stoically, dressed in a crimson dress as her red eyes and short blonde hair shone even in the darkness. She was chained to a crimson throne and yet, she didn't even looked distress, as if this was a common occurrence.
"If Father had just listened to me, we would have had allies that could help us in this battle, but the bastard is too selfish and arrogant to do it!" He snarled before a smirk appeared on his face as he glanced back at the woman.
"With you, I won't have to worry. I'll just make more and more vampires and you'll make them even powerful." The man exclaimed right before the doors were blasted open. The man quickly turned to see Siegfried walking towards them, a crimson sword grasped in his right hand and a sword with a light blue blade and a golden hilt in his left.
"Who are you?!" The man shouted, but he didn't speak as he turned to stare at the curious woman.
"Is your name Valerie Tepes?" The woman just stared before nodding and Siegfried nodded before glancing at the glaring pale man.
"You dare ignore me?! I am Marius Tepes and you shall-!"
"No, you're dead." Siegfried muttered as he stored his blades back onto the belt under his coat, standing in front of Valerie. Marius only had chance to turn to stare at him in shock before crimson lines appeared across his limbs and his neck, his limbs and head falling to the ground before disintegrating into ashes.
"I'm here to rescue you. Please be calm." Siegfried said with a soft smile and Valerie as the first spark of hope in who-knows-how many years appeared in her heart.
With Division 2:
"How many are there?!" A pale man shouted only to gasp as a silver dirk was stabbed rapidly and multiple times into him, his chest nothing but gaping holes. The shadowed figure who stabbed him just ignored his falling corpse as its white mask locked onto someone else.
It was not the only one as 99 other shadow figures with white mask dove from shadow to shadow, leaving nothing but torn corpses in their wake as they slaughtered everyone they came across.
"Captain Hassan's going berserk again. Then again, he has a vendetta towards the Vladi coven, so this must be him venting his frustration." Connla's soft voice muttered from where he was standing on one of the many towers of the castle they were in, his shadow familiars slaughtering every vampire that came close to him.
With Division 3:
"Captain, copying the information a little bit faster would be better!" A man with black hair, eyes and spectacles, dressed in a black suit and mage-like red coat, shouted from where he was killing vampire after vampire, a multitude of magic circles around him as spell after spell flew out at rapid speeds. The spells and attacks that were fired at him were just absorbed by rainbow coloured clouds before they were all reflected.
"Georg, knowledge is valuable and I shall not disgrace this valuable knowledge by copying it hastily." Came the calm voice of Isaac Newton as he elegantly copied hundreds of scrolls and books within seconds.
Georg, the inheritor of the Spirit of Johann Georg Faust, the wielder of the Longinus Dimension Lost and the lieutenant of the 3rd Division, just sighed before he turned back to the rampaging vampires, rubbing his temples.
"Why did I pick him as my captain again?" Georg muttered as he kept attacking and defending his captain.
Oh right, because the man said he'll have access to all the knowledge in history and the bookworm inside him couldn't say no.
With Division 4:
"What about this, Captain?!" Jeanne asked with an excited smile and Georgios just raised an eyebrow and smirked as he stared at the massacre in front of him. All of the vampires were skewered on a forest of silver blades, the blood dyeing the ground crimson as it slowly dripped from the blades. The faces of the corpses were frozen eternally in a state of agony and horror as they were impaled, their wounds steaming from the holy aura of the blades.
"Nice work, Jeanne. I knew you could do it." Georgios said with a smile as he patted her on the head and Jeanne giggled happily as she preened under his hand.
'Easy to keep happy, but hard to manage.' Georgios thought with a tired smile as he stared at the forest of corpses in front of him.
Yes, definitely hard to manage.
With Division 5:
"Wonderful, Leonardo! Marvelous creations once again!" Nikola shouted from where he was taking notes of the battle, the attacks around him before frozen in thin air, repelled back to their users or redirected away from him.
"Thank you, captain." The dark-skinned, gray haired and purple eyes said with a stoic nod as monster after monster spawned from purple circles on the ground around him, slaughtering vampire after vampire as well as blocking any attack coming the boy's way with their bodies.
"Now then, let's see the Attack Model 13-A!" "Yes, captain." The boy nodded before a large purple circle appeared in front of him, a monstrous hydra coming from it before it roared loudly. Tesla cackled as he took notes of all of the faults of the monster.
It's all in the name of science!
With Division 6:
"Captain! Look what I did!" Jack shouted gleefully as he ran towards Holmes were testing a new corrosive mist on a few vampires, dragging a corpse behind him.
"Hm? Ah, I see! You removed 80% of the blood and every organ aside from the heart and brain and yet, you managed to also keep them alive while suffering in misery. …Astounding, Jack! That's incredible!" Holmes said with a bright smile and Jack giggled as the rest of the vampires that were still alive shivered in horror at their conversation before both men turned to them.
"Jacky boy, do you still have that Clit-cutter I gave you?"
"Along with the Nipple-shredder, the Nut-Crusher, the Cock-Dicer, the Prostate Ripper and the Urethra-Acid. Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Captain?"
"Indeed I am, dear Jacky-boy. Indeed I am." Holmes said with a too-wide smile that Jack mirrored as they slowly stalked towards the horrified group of vampires right before the screams began.
With Division 7:
*BBBOOOOOOMMM*
"That's 51, captain!" A tall, well-built man with shoulder-length gray hair, dressed in Greek-inspired armour over a black bodysuit, shouted with a wide grin as he turned to another vampire before punching them, a concentrated explosion vaporizing everything above their waist.
"I'm already at 193, Heracles!" Samson shouted as black chains, that were wrapped around his wrists and grasped in his hands, cut through every vampire in their path like a hot knife through butter.
Heracles, the inheritor of the spirit of Heracles, the wielder of the Sacred Gear Variant Detonation and the lieutenant of the 7th Division, just growled as a pair of missiles appeared on his hands and with a roar, he charged towards the vampires. Samson just roared with laughter as he ran alongside him.
Back To Theo:
Theo's POV:
Yeah, they're probably doing fine.
"I see you're done, Captain." I heard Cao-Cao's voice and turned to see him walking into the throne room, the True Longinus resting on his shoulder as a large group of women and children slowly followed him.
"Woah~The waters of Cocytus…you really wanted him to suffer, huh?" He said with a smirk as he tapped the large ball of ice in front of me and I chuckled as I nodded, my green crest appearing under the ball before it disappeared.
I hope Uncle Hades puts him in Cocytus like I asked.
"And I see you've been busy as well." I muttered as I stared at the terrified vampires and human servants, making him grin sheepishly before I sighed and turned to the group. I can't start the year by killing my lieutenant. I'll leave him for halfway through the year.
Once again giving them the same ultimatum, as well as killing about 60% of the women and 35% of the children as they wanted to plot against the Organization, I finally sighed as Cao-Cao led them out to join the first group that Siegfried first gathered.
"I wonder if the others are done." I muttered before my earpiece began beeping. With a smile, I turned it on before putting it in my ear.
"Status report." Came the voice of Gilgamesh through the piece.
"1st Division reporting. Longinus has killed off all of the lower-ranks from House Tepes and I've killed off Tepes as well as his advisors. Tepes also had some sort of vial filled with primordial energy and it seems to be a power-booster as he tried to consume it, but I took the sample from him. Will send it to Division 6 later for further study." The happy cheer I heard from Nikola made me smirk as everyone else just sighed.
"White Knight of the 1st Division here. I have rescued the hostage and she is calm and unharmed, but a bit paranoid. We are now waiting for everyone else in the base." I smiled at that. Well done, Siegfried.
"2nd Division reporting. The Vladi coven has been eliminated."
"3rd Division reporting. The vast archives of the Nosferatu Coven has been copied and they have been eliminated."
"4th Division reporting. All human slaves and thralls has been rescued from the Dracul Coven and all of their members have been eliminated."
"5th Division reporting. The Manthar Coven has been eliminated."
"6th Division reporting. The Cullen Coven has been eliminated."
"7th Division reporting. The Sluda Coven has been eliminated."
"Well done, Divisions. Job well done. 1st Division, get rid of any evidence and see to the dhampir and the captives. You can escort the captives to the Carmilla Faction if need to, but make sure the damphir gets back to HQ safe. The rest of you, you are free to return to your prior missions."
"For the glory of the Organization." All seven of us captains said in unison.
"And the glory of humanity." And with that the earpiece went silent and I smiled as I pulled it out and put it back in the pocket in my jacket.
"Time to do some clean-up again." I muttered with a smile as I walked out, already seeing Cao-Cao giving me a thumbs-up from where he was standing far away from the castle grounds along with the captives. I just smiled as I gave a thumbs-up back before I walked off the castle grounds and turned back to face it.
Closing my eyes, I took in a deep breath before letting it out, my eyes snapping open and I knew they were a bright green along with the aura around me as I punched the ground below me. A thunderous tremor rippled throughout the entire castle before the ground under it began to sunk it, taking it along with the entire castle grounds with it.
Walls, pillars, watchtowers, gardens, blood and flesh. Everything and everyone that was still on the castle grounds sunk into a deep hole before I clapped my hands, the hole quickly closing up as the earth molded to merge back together. After a few seconds, there was just a massive barren field of upturned earth and plants where the castle formerly were. I smirked as I turned to the even paler vampires & humans and the chuckling Cao-Cao before I spoke.
"Let's see if we can't get you ladies and young ones a new home with the Carmilla Faction." I said and Cao-Cao chuckled as a large green crest appeared under us.
Before we could teleport however, I froze as I heard two deep guttural roars echoing throughout the valley and a glance in the direction of the roars made me frown as I saw the small shadows quickly getting closer and larger. Pulling the ear piece out again, I called the main line and put it in my ear.
"Yes, Arctic Huntsman?" Gilgamesh' voice asked and I knew the rest of the captains and Siegfried were listening.
"White Knight. Please put the hostage on the line."
"Hello?" A soft voice came through and I could not hear any emotion from the voice.
"Hello, Ms. Tepes. I just wanted to know. Did your father and/ or brother ask you to revive any dragons that have been killed in the past century?"
"Yes, they did."
"And were two of those dragons named Ladon and Grendel?"
"Yes, they were."
"Arctic, please don't tell me…" Gilgamesh trailed off and I chuckled as I nodded.
"Yeah, there are two dragons currently heading towards me and the auras are way too familiar. Division 3 & 5, I want a barrier around the entirety of Transylvania! Division 2,6 and 7, wait until I ask you to attack! Division 4, keep any civilians and/ or non-combatants away from Transylvania until I give the all-clear. Longinus, get this civvies out of here right now!" I ordered as I pulled the earpiece out, putting it in my pocket as Cao-Cao nodded seriously before a giant golden crest appeared under him, with him and the vampires disappearing in a flash of yellow just as the two dragons crashed into the ground in front of me.
"Hehehe, can you believe it, Ladon? After years of cursing him in the afterlife, we finally get the chance to fight him." A bipedal dragon with a humanoid-looking body, with black scales and bright silver horns, wings and eyes growled out as it glared at me. The dragon next to it just chuckled, its scales looking like the bark of a tree and his horns, wings and body looked as if leaves and branches were growing out of it as its red eyes glowered at me.
"5 years, Grendel! We have waiting for 5 years in the afterlife and now, we are finally face-to-face with the cause of our death." I just chuckled as I rolled my shoulders, pulling off the black coat/ jacket I had on and putting it in my pocket dimension, leaving me in a black muscle shirt, black pants with dark green krakens on them and black combat boots.
"Well, well, well. I never thought I'd see your overgrown lizard faces ever again." I said with a chuckle as I rolled my shoulders, both of them chuckling along with me before I raised my hands, blocking a punch/ kick from both sides as they growled at me. Ladon's dark-green aura, Grendel's dark-grey aura and my bright green aura clashed against each other, the ground around us trembling as we aimed feral grins at each other.
"You're going to die today, Theseus!" Grendel growled as he tried to crush me with his fist.
"I've already lost to both you and Heracles! I'd be damned if I get killed a third time!" Ladon sneered as he tried to push he leg down even more.
"Well then, show me what you fuckers got!" I shouted as I abruptly stopped pushing, making them both stumble slightly as I quickly jumped far away from them, grinning as I pulled off the golden trident necklace I had on. Ladon's eyes just widened at the necklace and he growled as it transformed into a golden trident, Greek runes written on all three prongs.
"Anaklusmos!" It growled and I chuckled as I grinned before blitzing towards me, jumping into the air as a torrential amount of bright blue & gold water gathered around me.
"I killed you once and I'll kill you again!" I shouted with glee before I swung my trident down. The bright blue and gold water behind me condensed into a monstrous amount of large spears before they all froze over. They began to spin rapidly before rocketing at high speeds towards the dragons as a massive black barrier made out of Greek runes appeared in front of them.
A loud creaking echoed throughout the valley as the spears tried to drill through the barrier only for two more barriers to be placed behind it, stopping the spears from breaking through. I grinned as I transformed the spears back into the water before creating two giant arms, punching towards both of them. Grendel just grinned as he grabbed both arms by the wrist before crushing them.
"We haven't been sitting on our asses for the past five years, Theseus! Darkness Dragon's Judgement!" Grendel growled as his muscles tensed before he blasted off the ground, blitzing at high speeds towards me as his aura condensed into the visage of a monstrous serpentine dragon. I grinned as I spun the trident before condensing the water below me and pushing off it as hard as I could, rocketing towards him. My aura grew to match his in size before the visage of a cyclops formed around me, the club in his hand creating shock waves as it smashed through the air.
"RRRAAARRRGGHHH!" He roared as he pulled his right fist back before slamming it forward, the dragon's head clashing with my cyclops' trident and creating a large shockwave that dispersed the cloudy sky above us. I grinned widely as I pushed Anaklusmos down right before my eyes widened slightly as Grendel grinned, dozens of runic circles appearing around us in an orb-like form. Ladon roared from the ground before hundreds of vines sprouted from the circles as Grendel went from trying to push me back to quickly wrapping the dragon around my cyclops to keep me from moving away. I just smiled as I let go of the trident before pulling my arms in, smashing them outwards as cracks spread all throughout the air. The cracks spread onto the vines and the runic circles before they dissipated into motes of black light.
As soon as the cracks touched Grendel, his eyes widened as he coughed up bits of blue blood before he was sent rocketing back to the ground, cratering it right next to Ladon. The cracks had begun to spread towards Ladon's barrier, but surprisingly, they were repelled away from him and I caught the victorious smirk on his face as I hummed.
"I forgot about that damned ability of his!" Ladon growled as Grendel nodded with a feral grin, with me smirking down on them from where I was standing proudly on a floating platform made out of water as my cyclops aura disappeared. Anaklusmos was grasped in my right hand and as I rose it, its golden form morphed once again. It transformed into a bright golden xiphos, with the words 'Anaklusmos' written in bright blue on one side of the blade, as the rest of the gold wrapped around my right arm to form a golden gauntlet with sharp claws that had blue runic patterns written on them.
"Did you two think that you were the only ones who got stronger in these past five years? I know that Ladon already has a way to nullify my vibrations, so let me show you a special move of mine." A cold chill spread throughout the entire area as a thick mist quickly swallowed everything.
"Let Time Come To A Still." I muttered and my eyes glowed bright gold as a black, vertical eye tattoo appeared in the middle of my forehead before everything completely froze. From the air, the mist and the clouds moving to Grendel and Ladon frozen in the mist. Without wasting a single second, I was in front of Ladon's barrier and with a roar, I slashed at it ten times in a split second, a light blue aura with cracks coating my blade. The barrier shook before it slowly began to crack.
I just grinned as I kept slashing faster and faster, the cracks spreading even more before the barrier finally shattered just as time slowly began to move. Not stopping there, I rocketed towards Ladon, blade arcing in a bright gold and blue as it sliced for his neck. He tried to create a barrier to block it, but it was too late as my blade was already deep into his scales as it slowly gouge out flesh.
It was not a second later that I felt the air bending behind me as Grendel's fist barrelled towards me. Without looking back, I jumped off a water platform and spun, the vibrato-blade gouging a large chunk of flesh and scales out of his fist and his forearm as I quickly jumped back into the sky. The eye tattoo on my forehead cracked before disappearing.
'Damn, it's still a 3-second limit. I thought I managed to increase it to 5 seconds, but I guess not.' I thought with a frown as I stared at where Ladon was creating a barrier in front of his neck and above Grendel's arms, their wounds slowly closing. The pieces of flesh, however, were not returning, which told me that he can't heal missing flesh. That means he can't heal organs that were completely disintegrated/ vaporized.
So that's what I'll do. Time to pull out the big guns.
Just as I decided that, a large dark purple and barrier spawned for far away before they intertwined with each other and locked the entirety of Transylvania away from the rest of the world. I also noticed six presences hiding in the surrounding area and I chuckled as I raised Anaklusmos into the air.
"Took them long enough." I muttered before a monstrous aura exploded off of me, the bright green slowly transforming into the visage of a kraken behind me as its screech echoed throughout the entire valley. Grendel and Ladon looked shocked at my power and I chuckled as I increased it even more to its absolute limit, rain slowly falling as the air and ground around us began to quake.
With Division 3 & 5:
"Hahaha! Looks like he's going to go all-out, Isaac!" Tesla cackled happily as they saw the monstrous green kraken in the sky as they held up the barrier
"The Elite Captain's power never seizes to astound me." For the first time, there was a bit of emotion in Isaac's monotone voice as he spoke in awe. Georg and Leonardo just stared in shock at the monstrous amount of power being produced by a single human.
"…Leo, the next time Cao Cao tells us to fight a demi-god, we run as fast as we can in the other direction, okay?" Georg muttered and Leonardo just nodded in shock. Cao Cao wanted them to help him kill that?!
Hell no, Georg and Leonardo would rather run and let him fight that himself.
With Division 2, 6 & 7:
"Gigigigigi! Go, Elite Captain!" Jack cheered as he waved a flag with Theo's face on it, but no one reprimanded him as they stared in awe at the power exuding from Theseus.
"He's grown even stronger." Samson muttered with a wide grin and Holmes chuckled as he nodded.
"Yeah, he has. Looks like Nikola's theory of human's infinite potential for evolution and power has some truth to it after all." Came the normal, deep voice from one of Hassan's shadow figure, but this one had a small black dot on its forehead and long hair, signifying its place as the first Hassan.
"…Cao Cao was a big idiot, wasn't he?" Connla muttered and Heracles just nodded while sweating nervously.
'So this is the difference between the inheritor of the spirit of aDemi-God and the descendant, inheritor and reincarnation of a Demi-God?' Heracles thought with an awed stare at the giant kraken. And to think that he was just a year or two older than them.
With Division 4:
"Oh, look, Captain! Pretty lights!" Jeanne exclaimed in glee and Georgios just chuckled as he nodded, his mind a completely other matter.
'He just wants to show off.' Georgios thought with an exasperated frown in his mind.
Leave it to the Elite Captain to want to showcase his true power.
With Division 1:
*SMACK*
"Ow! What the hell was that for?" Cao Cao shouted as he rubbed the back of his head and Siegfried just sighed.
"That's for almost getting us killed two years ago." Cao Cao just sighed as they stared at the green kraken in the distance, the vampires now calmed by Valerie as they all stared in awe at the power.
"The captain's really strong, huh?" Cao Cao said with a grin and Siegfried smiled as he nodded.
Maybe, joining the Huntsmen Organization wasn't such a bad idea after all.
With Theseus:
1st Person POV:
"I wish I could keep fighting you two, but I need to get back home so I'll end this quick." Grendel's shock disappeared as he roared loudly, a wide grin on his face as Ladon glanced at him.
"Grendel! We need to leave now!" Ladon shouted, making Grendel glare at him.
"Are you mad?! This…this is how I want to die! If it's to someone as powerful as him, I do not care! Come, Theseus! Let our clash be written in the history books and be remembered by all for the coming decades!" Grendel shouted as he rocketed towards me and I chuckled as I grasped Anaklusmos, which was now a greatsword, with two hands. The aura/ kraken around me wrapped around the blade and soon, the blade was now covered by a monstrous green zweihander that cut through even the heavens themselves. Grendel's grin grew even further as Ladon tried to teleport away, only for his eyes to widen as his teleportation crest disappeared as well.
So, they used teleportation-negation runes as well, huh?
"Let Heaven and Earth tremble! Let all roar in glee as the world is torn asunder! Roar, Anaklusmos!" I roared as I swung the blade down, the giant blade distorting space itself as it slowly headed towards the two dragons. As Grendel clashed with it, he didn't even have time to gasp before the vibrato-blade disintegrated him. Ladon tried to stop it with dozens upon dozens of barriers, but even that was not enough as the blade cut through all of them like paper, disintegrating Ladon upon contact as well. As soon as it did that, I activated the second phase of the attack.
The first phase was condensing the aura into a monstrous blade that vibrates at intense speeds, destroying all of the molecular bonds of a person and completely disintegrating them.
The second phase…
"Motherfucker!" I heard the hidden Division leaders shout as a devastating explosion went off, completely destroying anything and everything inside the barrier. It was a split second later that everyone was outside the barrier, Nikola frowning as he strained to keep the barrier contained while Isaac used gravity magic all around the barrier to keep its form from distorting and shattering. It felt like hours before the explosion finally began to wane down and slowly disappeared, both men gasping(or gasping as best as they could with an apple head in Isaac's case) as sweat poured down their foreheads.
"Theo…maybe next time…don't use…continent-destroying moves…please…" I just gave a tired smile and a thumbs-up as I felt the exhausting drain from using my trump card. So, it's still just a once-a-day move, huh? Man, I had hoped I'd up the limit of both it and Time-Freeze.
'Then again…' I trailed off as I stared at the aftermath of the explosion, a giant crater being all that was left of Transylvania as rain poured down inside the barrier. 'It's at his most powerful a continent-destroyer, so maybe it's a good thing I can just use it once-a-day.' I thought with a smirk before I spoke out loud, already feeling my stamina return.
Being a Demi-god with Accelerated Healing is so much fun!
"Come on, everyone! I still need to report back to the captain and you guys need to get back to your duties!" I shouted with a wide smile, turning Anaklusmos back into a necklace as I took my jacket out of my pocket dimension. Putting it back on and putting Anaklusmos back on, I whistled as I began walking back and they all let out sighs.
"How he has the energy to keep moving after that, we'll never know." Nikola muttered as Leonardo created a mount to carry him, making everyone nod in agreement before they began walking back to the temporary base.
Mission: Complete.
Unknown Location:
3rd Person POV:
"Lord Euclid, Ladon and Grendel's life signatures has disappeared from our sensors. Also, our spies have reported that the entirety of the Tepes clans along with our allied members have been eliminated" Euclid Lucifuge just sighed as he shook his head.
"I told those damned lizards to not go after him and they do exactly that! Go and tell the others to not move without our exact orders! Tell them we'll use the weapon if they do! I'll go and inform Lord Lucifer!"
"Yes, Lord Lucifuge!" The devil servant nodded before they rushed out, Euclid sighing as he scrapped off Ladon and Grendel's names from the plans.
'Lord Lucifer's not going to be happy about this.' Euclid sighed as he walked towards the main office.
"Come in." A deep, noble voice muttered from behind the door and Euclid sighed as he walked in.
Here's to hoping he makes it through the meeting.
A/N: Once again, another quick and easy battle. I wanted to write more, but I'm still not used to writing long fights yet. For future fights, I will however try to extend them, even if they're just a few sentences to a paragraph long.
Also, like I said in the Unholy Wolf, I'm taking a break for the next week, so no chapter next week. One, because I'm starting to feel the ideas wane and two, I have tests, so I will be too busy studying to write. Anyway, tell me what you all think of it by letting me know in the reviews.
Other than that, don't have much to say so I'll see you all in the next chapter.
Until then…Ba-Bye~!
