"This is Division 2, 5, & 6 reporting from Antarctica. No sign of Krios was found on the continent whatsoever."
"This is Division 3, 4 & 7 reporting from the North Pole. The same can be found here. Koios is gone as well."
"This is Division 1 reporting from the Diomede Islands. Nothing but searing heat waves found here. No Hyperion here."
"Report received. All captains and lieutenants return back for an in-person report. Dismissed." Gilgamesh said and the three communication crests all flashed once before dimming down, leaving him alone in his office as he sighed. He doesn't know why he accepted this job when it was offered to him.
Oh yeah, because Leonidas decided to join his 299 brothers in the afterlife and make him the Supreme Commander again.
'Perhaps being this powerful was not such a good idea, after all.' Gilgamesh thought with a sigh as he leaned back in his chair.
When was the last time he was allowed at full power?
Perhaps that time when the Greco-Roman pantheon decided to try and invade his country to expand their reach. Then again, Zeus has still not forgiven him for nearly killing the entirety of their pantheon before deciding to spare them as a thanks for being nice entertainment for him.
In his defence, when you have enough power to make even the strongest of gods hesitant on wanting to fight you, you don't have that many times to actually let loose some steam.
'But with Theo, my boredom will soon be relieved.' Gil thought with an excited smirk as he glanced at the pure white trident sigil on his desk that was Theo's communication link.
The young boy was just 25 years, not even a hundredth of Gilgamesh's age, and yet, he was close to the same level as his Guardians of Gil, which were the strongest men and women that served as his elite bodyguards when he was king of Mesopotamia.
Now, the ten of them were strong, each one capable of fighting a God-Class being on their own. The fact that all of them were 40 to 50 years old just spoke further of Theseus' potential.
"Perhaps when I decide to resign, he might be my perfect successor…Hahaha! Nope!" Gil chuckled to himself as he shook his head. Theseus tried to kill him just because he made him the Captain of the Elite 1st Division.
If Gil tries to make him the Supreme Commander, he has a feeling that he'd actually try and find a way to kill him.
Nozuta Stadium, Machida:
Theo's POV:
"And with a startling 8-1, Kuoh Academy has made themselves out as the potential winners as they move on to the Finals of the Japan All Girls-High National Football Championship!" The announcer shouted, the Kuoh crowd cheering as I chuckled, watching as the girls celebrated before they rushed towards me.
"Coach! We did it! We're in the finals!" Yamada exclaimed with a happy smile as they all wrapped me in a group hug and I smiled as I nodded.
"Yeah, but you're not done yet. We still have the Finals, but I'm pretty sure we've all but won." I said with a grin, to which the girls cheered before they let go of the group hug.
"Sorry girls, but if it's okay with you all, I'll be taking Richards-sensei out of your hands." Yasaka's voice came from the side and I turned to see her, along with Rossweisse waiting for me. Glancing behind them, I saw Mom and Kunou waving at me and I smiled as I waved back before I turned to the team, who just gave me amused stares.
"So, sensei, anything you wanna tell us?" Shiho asked with a teasing grin, as if looking for payback on all the times I teased her, and I smirked as I rolled my eyes.
"Nothing to do with you, chibi-rabbit. Now, then! I'll see you ladies tomorrow for our final month of training sessions, but for today, relax and enjoy yourself." They all nodded before they all quickly rushed towards the showers, making me chuckle before I turned to the amused duo waiting for me…
"Theo!" And the adorable, blond guardian angel of mine. I chuckled as Kunou jumped at me and I scooped her up, spinning around and making her giggle before I stopped and smiled at the ladies.
"So, take-out, restaurant or home-cooking?" I asked and Kunou was the first to answer.
"Pizza and movies!" She exclaimed, making me grin as I nodded before I turned to the other three.
"I don't have anything better to do, so pizza and movies sounds good to me." Mom said, making Yasaka and Rossweisse smirk at each other before Yasaka answered.
"We're in for pizza." She said, with Rossweisse nodding and I chuckled as Mom and Kunou cheered.
Later that day, Night:
Theo's Home/ HQ:
"Have a good night's sleep." I muttered with a smile as I tucked Kunou in between Yasaka and Rossweisse on my bed, my only answers being soft snores. Giving each of them a soft kiss on the forehead, they all smiled before snuggling in closer with each other, making me chuckle before I walked back to the theatre room.
"They're finally asleep?" Mom asked as I walked in and I smiled as I nodded, plopping down on the chair next to her and seeing her watching her favourite reality TV show, whose name I can't remember as I was never that interested in that type of stuff.
"So, what's happening down in Atlantis since Dad doesn't want me to be worrying about it all the time?" I asked Mom and she smiled.
"The defences has finally been fully raised to full war-time, so it is fully protected from all threats, both those inside and out. He also informed me that I can now finally return back to Atlantis, so I'll be leaving tomorrow."
"That's good to hear. I was wondering how much longer you were going to stay." I said with a teasing smirk, not even wincing as her sandal smacked into the back of my head. That just made her sigh as she put her sandal back on.
"I miss the days when the sandal was enough to make you want to run in the opposite direction." She muttered and I smiled as I wrapped an arm around her shoulders, with her smiling as she rested her head on my chest.
"In all seriousness, I'll miss your over-protectiveness and constantly wanting to watch my every move." I muttered and she giggled.
"You just promise me that you won't go running after trouble like you used to when you were younger."
"I told you so many times. Triton was the one that made Kraken want to sink Madagascar to the ocean floor, not me." I grumbled, making her giggle before she lifted her head back up to give me a soft kiss on the cheek.
"I'm so happy that my little Aqua Prince grew up to be so strong and caring just like his father."
"And I'm happy that I had a mom as cool as you to kick my ass when I didn't listen." I said, making her nod as she stood up.
"You damn well better. Otherwise, I'd have to tell your grandmother on you and you know what she'd do."
"Dump a glacier on me and make it seem like an accident." I grumbled, making her giggle before she walked to her room. For the next few minutes, I just sat there on the couch, staring at thin air before I sighed as I stood up and clapped my hands to turn off the screen. Walking back to my room, I smiled and raised an eyebrow as I saw Yasaka sitting upright, softly patting Kunou's and Rossweisse's hair as they were still fast asleep.
"You're supposed to be sleeping." I said softly and she giggled as she shrugged.
"I didn't have my teddy bear with me." She whispered back and I chuckled softly as I took off my shirt, leaving me in just my pajama pants as I climbed into the bed besides her. She just smirked in amusement as I laid down besides her before she climbed under the covers as well, hugging Kunou to her chest and we both chuckled as Rossweisse rolled around and wrapped her arm around Kunou as well.
"Looks like she's adjusted to the family already." I muttered, making Yasaka giggle before she sighed as she snuggled back into me.
"Good night, love." She muttered and I smiled.
"Good night." I whispered back, laying my head back down as I closed my eyes.
Three Months Later:
Kuoh Academy:
Theo's POV:
It's been three months since Gil had the Divisions check out the cages of the Titans. Three months and absolutely nothing has happened. Not a single sign of the Titans could be found, which was just weird since I know that the Titans couldn't stay that quiet for this entire time. Not just that, but the supernatural-based crimes has dropped slightly all across the world and I don't like that at all.
It's as if…there's something brewing in the background, something ominous.
Unfortunately for me, I don't have the time to worry bout it as I have to worry about something else right now.
"Good morning, everyone! Students are to head to the classroom and parents are to head to the Main Hall where they will receive a pamphlet of the day's activities." I said with a smile, nodding at the parents who smiled at me and waving back at the students who giggled and waved at me.
That's right. Today is the Parent-Teacher Conference and I am the designated doorman that has to tell everyone where they had to go.
"I'm starting to think that I might just extend your contract for another year. You're a very good spokesperson for us." Ms. Nanao said as she stood besides me and I chuckled as I shrugged.
"I won't say no to that. I must say that I did not expect my job to be much fun."
"That's mostly because the girls adore your classes since they can do whatever they want there as long as they quiet and their grades are high." She said and I smiled before I froze as I heard a male voice speak to me.
"Well, look who it is. I can't believe that my old army buddy is here!" The voice exclaimed happily and I turned before my eyes widened slightly as I saw a familiar face grinning at me.
A tall handsome man with long brown hair and silver eyes was smirking at me, dressed in a dark brown suit with a dark grey coat over it. A black fedora was on his head and in his right hand was a black cane with a silver skull at the top.
"Satanael! Nice to see you after all this time! What are you doing here?!" I exclaimed in a faux-happy tone, my power raging under my skin and ready to be released as he chuckled and took off his fedora, nodding at the blushing Ms. Nanao.
"Well, my stepdaughter is in her 3rd Year here and so, I had to be here.."
"Father!" As if on cue, a girl's voice shouted happily and I glanced to the side before my eyes widened as I saw Shiho rushing towards us, hugging Satanael happily and he smiled as he patted her on the head.
"So chibi-rabbit is your daughter, huh?" I said and she finally realized that I was here as she quickly let go of him and glared cutely at me.
"You didn't hear anything, okay coach?"
"Hey, I don't even know what you're talking about." I said with a smirk, making her huff as she nodded before Nanao spoke up.
"Well, I do not like you talking about my employees that way, Usagi-san." Shiho froze at Nanao's tone before she smiled as she shook her head.
"However, I will not punish you as today is supposed to be a relaxing day." Shiho gave a soft, relieved sigh at that, making us smile before she turned to me.
"I'll be going now, Richards-sensei. I need to go and practice my speech."
"I'll be rooting for you." I said and she smiled as she nodded, nodding at Satanael and Shiho before walking back to the Hall.
"Why don't you head to class, sweetheart? I need to talk with my old friend alone, please." Shiho looked hesitant before she nodded, giving him a kiss on the cheek and giving me one final glare before rushing back to where her friends were waiting. As soon as they left and I let everyone through, I created a soundproof illusions around us before I spoke.
"Why the hell are you here, Satanael? You do understand that the Grigori put a A+ bounty on your head, right?"
"That's about $12 million, right?" He asked in a nonchalant tone and I just stared at him before I shook my head.
"You're close. $15 million."
"Well, at least it's nice to know that my family likes me that much, I guess." He muttered and I sighed.
"Why are you here, Satanael?"
"What? Is the Arctic Huntsman not going to hunt me down for my head?" He asked amusedly and I raise an eyebrow.
"I'm not the same hotheaded 22 year old that nearly killed you three years ago." I said and he chuckled as he took off his fedora.
"That's sad to hear. You were much easier to manipulate back then." I just rolled my eyes as I gestured him to follow and we started walking towards the hall.
"So, a stepdaughter?" I said with a smirk and he rolled his eyes with a smirk.
"After you broke my leg and I managed to get someone to do a shoddy job at repairing it, I decided that I was just tired about all that crap about the Longinus Gears. So, I retired to Kuoh, sealed most of my powers away in a vial in an undisclosed location and married a lovely and beautiful woman. After that, my life has been content."
"And where is the woman who wooed the mad doctor himself?" I asked and he gave a sad smile as he shook his head, making me frown apologetically as he chuckled.
"Don't worry. It was over a year ago that she passed away and we've managed to cope with it. It still hurts as she was the most kindhearted woman I've been with in my entire life, but Shiho has been the pillar for both of us." He said and I smiled as I patted him on the back just as we arrived at the hall.
"Well, since I don't have to worry about you killing anyone in revenge against me, I suppose I can let you go." I joked and he chuckled as he put his fedora back on.
"Here, if anything happens." I said as I tore off a piece of paper from the clipboard and quickly wrote my contact details down, holding it out to him and he nodded in thanks as he took it and put it on the inside of his coat.
"Thank you. I'll call you if I need a drinking buddy."
"That would be good." I said and he smiled before we walked into the hall, with him walking towards to where the parents were sitting while I walked up to the stage and stood next to Yasaka, who looked confused at my smile.
"What's got you so happy?" She whispered to me and I smiled as I shrugged my shoulders.
"I just met an old aquientance." I said, confusing her even more as Satanael smirked at me before nodding with his fedora and I smirked as I nodded back.
A/N: And a short chapter for today!
Next chapter…to be truthful, the timeline I had in mind had so many faults that I don't even know what I'm currently writing, so I'm going to take some time today to actually figure out how to write combine canon and my own story.
Not just that, but the story itself is kind of confusing me as well, so I really need to sit down and figure out how this story is actually supposed to go, otherwise it's going to become boring to read real fast for you all.
