AUTHOR'S NOTES
I know I am hard at work on other stories, even those exclusive to my AO3, but the Donkey Kong Country novelization from April 2023 NEEDS that sequel. So, I decided to give it my all and novelize the sequel of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.
This continues right where the first novelization left off, so if you don't want the first story's spoilers, I suggest reading the first story I did back in April 2023, which was Donkey Kong Country: The Novelization.
I also DO NOT own the characters or concepts. All I own are the story's original elements. ENJOY!
Donkey Kong Country II: Crocodile Isle Adventure

CHAPTER 1
It was a wonderful day on DK Island. Donkey Kong was relaxing on the beach while Funky Kong was surfing the blue waves. Funky Kong even asked why Donkey Kong didn't join him.
"Heh. Even video game heroes need some time off." said Donkey Kong.
"Whatever you say…" Funky Kong said.
Later on, Cranky Kong showed up. He was wondering why Donkey Kong was just lying around on the beach. Then, the sound of whirling propellers were heard from a distance. Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie Kong showed up wondering what was going on.
"Just go!" Donkey Kong said. "Get some assistance; I will handle this myself." Everyone later left Donkey Kong alone. But, little did Donkey Kong know he could not handle the task by himself.
"Alright, bozo. Hand over the bananassssssss." said a green Kaboing. When Donkey Kong slapped the Kritter, and fought off three more, the Kong hero was later tied up in ropes and taken into the airship where the now-known Kaptain K. Rool was. One of the Kaboings even left a note on Donkey Kong's broken chair after a pirate sword-wielding Kritter broke it into pieces.
"Dang nabbits, Donkey Kong!" said Kai Kritter.
"Look! A note was left here." Diddy Kong said. Cranky Kong later read the note.
"...I thought you had seen the last of that old green rascal…" said the teacher Wrinkly Kong.
"I thought so too…" Cranky Kong said. "Guess we'll have to hand over the bananas then."
"NO!" Kai Kritter exclaimed. "I've betrayed the Kremling Krew for that reason! I'm not like them! And Donkey Kong's my friend!"
"Eesh… this is way worse than our last adventure for the bananas…" said Cranky Kong.
"Whatever the case may be, we have to rescue Donkey Kong." said Kai Kritter. "Cranky, where exactly is Donkey Kong?"
"The infamous Crocodile Isle." said Cranky Kong. "That is where Gangplank Galleon is."
"Then our only option is Enguarde taking us there, then." said Dixie Kong. "I mean, what other choice do we have?!"
"I'll go with them." Kai Kritter said.
"No… we must go as a team." said Cranky Kong. "It's time to show our teamwork and rescue Donkey Kong from K. Rool!"
"Let's go!" Kai Kritter exclaimed. And so, as Diddy and Dixie Kong mounted Enguarde, the other Kongs and Kai Kritter wanted to find other ways of transportation to Crocodile Isle. The quest to rescue Donkey Kong was just about to begin.
