*This is my first story being uploaded onto this site, so have a bit of mercy for me please*

At the time of this posting its been about a year ever since I saw an image, made Issabolical which featured the characters Adora and Catra from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Luz Noceda and Amity Blight from the Disney show The Owl House, and lastly Anne Boonchuy, Marcy Wu, and Sasha Waybright from the Disney show Amphibia. All seven of them were portrayed as guardians from the game Destiny 2.

I've been playing the game of Destiny ever since the beta of Destiny 1, I've beaten every raid, I've gathered all of the lore books, and ran through the trenches of pain that is Trails of Osiris/Trails of the Nine and gotten flawless in each once. I've fought them all. I am a gigantic nerd for this game and love all three of these shows. So, seeing that image with all three of them as guardians got my gears turning, and thus here we are.

Disclaimer:

I do not own Destiny that right solely belongs to Bungie, I do not own Amphibia that right belongs to Disney and the creator Matt Braly, I do not own The Owl House that right belongs to Disney (again) and the creator Dana Terrace, and lastly, I do not own She-Ra and the Princesses that right belongs to Netflix, DreamWorks and the creator Noelle Stevenson.

All of the characters are aged up due to the maturity of this story.

Ages are as follows:

Adora – 25

Amity - 21

Anne - 21

Catra – 23

Luz - 22

Marcy – 20

Sasha - 21

Now with that out of the way, let us begin, shall we?

The Seven Guardians

Chapter 1

Awaken Ye Guardians and Meet Thy Mentors

The Last City on earth, one of the last few places in the solar system that Humans, Awoken, and Exo can call home. Massive walls miles high higher than even the tallest building within protect the massive city, from the horrors and terrifying creatures and entities that lay outside. Flying vehicles flying through sky lanes within the limits of the city and higher above those, flew the more militaristic vehicles either going out onto patrol or coming back from the edge of the wall, and even higher resides The Traveler a massive white sphere with fragmented pieces of it floating around it, it is the source for all breakthroughs in technology has made over the centuries both good and bad. But at peak of the wall lies The Tower, the central point where all of The Last City's defenses and governing, are coordinated and handled. Within that tower resides the Guardians, people who have been gifted the power of the Light, they can wield its power too terrifying and powerful effects. How people are given the power of the Light is through these mysterious entities known as Ghosts, who are given a template of a person to seek, and they are sent out to bestow or even resurrect said person from the dead.

This is the story of the Seven Guardians and their mentors. The hardships, trials, lessons, and even tragedies that they must endure, but such is the life of a Guardian…

The Swamp Lands of the North

Two Ghosts one of angular yet simplistic design, the other being bulkier and taller in design is seen floating and roaming through the remains of what looks like an abandoned swampland town, given all of the water, muck, and green foamy texture to said water. The buildings seem to be sinking ever deeper into the ground like the ground is trying to consume them, while green-hanging foliage is draped from the buildings. The angular Ghost speaks up, "Why, exactly did we come out here again?". The bulkier Ghost responds, "Because Waxal, I got a feeling that we will find our Guardian here". Waxal rolls her singular glowing yellow eye, "You said that at the last town, we surveyed Resal" said Waxal. Resal was eagerly scanning and analyzing every dead body she came across with meticulous detail, never noticing some of the more gruesome bodies that were either torn in half, missing limbs, or somehow the more comical bodies like the one she was currently analyzing. The body resided tangled within electrical wires from a downed telephone pole, and judging by how the body is positioned, the poor individual seemed to be electrocuted to death. "Please tell me that body is not going to be your Guardian because I don't want to deal with untangling them," said Waxal in a tired tone. Waxal moved away from her friend and deeper into the town. She wondered if she would ever find her Guardian, and maybe end up as one of those Ghost who never finds their Guardian, forever bound to roam the galaxy in an endless search, or even worse stuck doing desk work in the tower. Waxal passed some stray bodies nearby the outside of a semi-intact shack, the two bodies wrapped around each other in what seems to be an embrace. She scanned once again and got a confirmation signal. Waxal immediately froze, not believing what she was seeing, had she finally found her Guardian?

"RESAL GET OVER HERE, I THINK I FOUND MY GUARDIAN!" Waxal said with very uncharacteristic enthusiasm. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" exclaimed Resal, followed by the sound of breaking glass, wooden panels snapping, a couple of snapping cables and the yowl of some kind of animal Resal gets to Waxal's location. "Which one did you scan?" asked Resal, not wanting to intrude on her friend's find. "The one on left, the one that has the strange protrusions on the head," said Waxal. Going out on a nonexistent limb Resal performs a scan on the body on the right of the embrace, and to her shock, she got a confirmation reading on her scanner. "This is fantastic," said Resal in a soft voice. "We finally found our Guardians," said Waxal in a happy tone. After a couple of moments of happy floating, they both settled down and got ready to resurrect their chosen Guardian.

Their bodies were deconstructed, the six pieces that formed their outer bodies split apart from the circular round center body that held their eyes, within all of the floating parts a soft blue light glowed forming a circle. They each got close to their respective candidate and closed themselves causing them to disappear in a wave of soft blue light. After a few moments, the air stood still within the old swamp town. Then two gasps desperate for air can be heard, as two people awaken from death.

A girl with wild hair and mismatched eyes of yellow and blue was quickly looking around the area trying to find any kind of threat but found nothing, yet still was trying to find anything around her that could cause her harm. Her eyes then rested upon the other person lying next to her, she had blond hair strewn about, a somewhat athletic build, light-complected skin, and a somewhat battered and smeared shirt, and trousers with such faded colors it's hard to tell what color they even were. Then the girl with mismatched eyes took notice of something made of dirty and worn plastic on the blonde girl's shirt, written in old black ink on a pink background it read, "Adora".

The girl with mismatched eyes finally caught her breath, breath that she didn't realize she'd been trying to get for the past few minutes. She then proceeds to say it aloud, in a low raspy voice, not used to speaking, "Ad-Ad-Adora" the girl with mismatched eyes rasped. The now-named Adora, who just barely caught her breath while lying on the ground turns her head to the voice she just heard on her right, and sees a somewhat odd-looking girl. The girl on Adora's right had a huge mop of wild and unruly hair that spiked in many different directions, but what really caught her attention was a pair of ears that were at the top of her head, and then she saw her mismatched eyes, her torn, battered and really old clothes from top to bottom that she had on. But then Adora saw something even stranger, the girl had a tail right on her waistline that wrapped around her body. Adora slowly starts to sit up causing the girl to scoot back a couple of feet. Seeing those ears and tail stirs something deep within Adora and complies her to speak "Cat-rrraaaaa", Adora both mumbled and yawned with a dopey smile on her face.

The now-named Catra reeled back in shock at hearing another voice and was soon to be hearing two new voices for a long time. "What did you just call me?", Catra asked in a very apprehensive tone. "Well, I think, she just invertedly gave you your name. Heh, 'Catra', it's actually quite fitting given some of your physical traits", said Waxal appearing through water-like particle effect of light. Catra yet out a squeak of surprise and leaned back from her sitting position but kept her eyes on the strange floating entity in front of her. "What ex-exactly are you" Catra stammered still in her still surprised state. "Oh, well, you see I am a Ghost, and now I am your Ghost, I have searched for you for a VERY long time," said Waxal in a somewhat mirthful tone with something else hidden that Catra couldn't deduce just yet. "My name is Waxal, and we must get you to The Last City now so that you can get your bearings", said Waxal in a semi-urgent tone. Before Catra could say anything, she is interrupted by another voice, "She's right you know", said Resal appearing in a small flash of light in front of Adora. This causes Adora to shout in surprise and try to lean back only for her to hit her head on the floorboards behind her, and she then lets out a groan of pain.

Adora slowly leans back up into a sitting position and finally speaks "My head hurts, who are you?", Adora points to Catra, "and what are you two?", asked a confused Adora as she points at the two Ghosts interchangeably. Resal floats up to Adora's face just a little more, "We are Ghosts, and now I am your Ghost Adora, so yyeaaah you going to have a lot of things you will see that you won't understand", said Resal in a nervous tone. Nearby, a sharp snap can be heard off in the distance somewhere deep in the swamp, both Ghosts tensed as much as their tiny metal bodies can. "We are NOT safe here", said Waxal in an anxious tone. Both Catra and Adora could sense the nervousness emanating from their Ghosts, and it told them one thing 'Leave. Now'. A guttural roar can be heard from the distance, followed by many screeches and rapid footsteps getting closer, with a heavy set of feet causing the ground to rumble. Both of the newly resurrected women looked at each other, and then at their respective Ghost. The many footsteps grow ever closer and ever louder from the swamp. They immediately throw themselves to their feet and start running through the old sunken town, passing many buildings that had moss hanging from the roofs that were caved or somehow still remained on their holdings. Catra showed apt prowess of agility, being able to leap and jump over any obstacle that came her way with a clumsy yet feline grace. Adora just simply leaped into the air over some obstacle that got in her way, ranging from old rusted barrels to mounds of thick mud. Waxal and Resal were nearby their respective charge, floating beside them easily keeping up with their rapid pace out of the old town. Waxal floated in front of her charge and looked her in the eye while she was still running. How Waxal managed to do that can keep up with her was beyond Catra's understanding at the moment, "Follow me Catra, and Adora, I know the way back to the transport ship we came in on" said Waxal in an anxious voice. Resal quickly came up beside Waxal with Adora keeping pace as well, "Yeah, we managed to strike a deal with these New Monarchy surveyors to take us to this area, we really need to thank them for that again Waxal" said Resal in an airheaded tone, almost as if she where oblivious to the fact that they where running for their lives from an unknown assailant. "Never mind that Resal, shut up and keep moving!" exclaimed Waxal.

After a few more minutes of running the swamp slowly turns into a forest, with trees so thick not even a truck from the last city would be able to match its circumference, one could almost the age in the air. The group of four rush out of a tree line, and find themselves in a campground filled with red and white colors, with a banner at the center of it featuring a white triangle with three red strips at its bottom right corner with one of the far right red strips merging into the background of the banner giving it a red background for the triangle to stick out even more. Behind the banner stood a large transport ship, it looked more like an angular box with wings if you were to ask Adora. Around the camp stood these strange metal humanoid figures holding rifles of Suros gun foundry make, and near the transport ship nearby an open boarding ramp stood two humans in, red and white clothing, conversing about something. "HEY, WE NEED HELP!" screamed Catra as she nearly tripped over her own feet as she tried to stop herself from falling as she just came to an abrupt stop. "Yes please, help us," said Adora as she came to a stop beside Catra, attempting to catch her breath after running for so long.

One of the two surveyors for New Monarchy came forward quickly, "Get them some water fast" said the surveyor to the other. The second surveyor nodded and quickly ran up the ramp back into the ship. "My name is Hawn Bultin" said Hawn Bultin now formally introduced. She motioned for two women to sit down on two boxes nearby the boarding ramp of the ship. Both Catra and Adora slowly went to the boxes and sat down still wary of the individual in front of them. Hawn looks at them with an inquisitorial look scanning both of the two women as if she is appraising them for something. Adora not feeling comfortable with how she is being looked at speaks up, "Why are you giving us that look?" asks Adora in an apprehensive tone. Hawn scoots back from where she stood with an embarrassed look on her now flustered face, "I'm so sorry. It's just that, I have never seen a newly risen Guardian before, the most I have seen are usually very experienced," said Hawn. Hawn shifts herself around on her feet to get a better look at the both of them, "To see newly risen Guardians is a rare honor and privilege to witness since Ghosts alongside other Guardians tend to avoid letting others see them rise again," said Hawn

Catra's ears perk up at the mention of the name "Guardian", with her interest peaked and wanting answers she speaks up, "Wait-wait-wait-wait-wait, what exactly are we again?" asked Catra in an incredulous tone. "You are Guardians a rare few who are brought back to life to defend the last City and The Traveler" replied Hawn in a hopeful tone. Hawn looked like she was about to jump out of her boots with how happy she looked, her face turning into a grin that spanned her face. But just as quickly as she became happy, she suddenly turn concerned, Hawn had remembered that these two and the Ghosts that came along with them were running from something. Hawn's eyes get serious, and she quickly addresses them, "You four came in running like a Fallen Skiff on a glimmer hunt, what exactly where you running from?" asked Hawn with urgency. Waxal floated up to her, "We do not know, this far beyond the walls in uncharted territory, we didn't want to find out" said Waxal. "In fact, we would like to get out of here as soon as possible because we must get to The Tower, these two need to be briefed by Zavala," said Resal, with tenseness in her voice that both Catra and Adora couldn't figure out just yet. "This is a top priority of The Vanguard now, article five of the Guardian and the Civilian pact enacted by the City Consensus states that 'Any and all newly risen Guardians must be helped to reach The Last City and subsequently The Tower in order to be debriefed," stated Resal in a firm voice that promised trouble. Adora looked at her Ghost in astonishment and wonder, greatly admiring how her Ghost knew that information to help them out. Catra had a dumbfounded wide-eyed stare showing that she barely understood what half of that even meant.

At the declaration of Resal Hawn stood at attention, "Understood, I will set the Frames we have stationed with us to defend this camp. We came here to survey potential fall-back points in case something like the Red War were to happen again" said Hawn in militaristic firmness. Hawn rushes to a tablet holo-computer nearby on one of the boxes, the device hums to life and gives a faint glow. Hawn quickly presses a button on the holo-tablet, all of the robotic Frames that Adora and Catra saw patrolling the edges of the camp all turned their heads in sync to the group, more specifically at Hawn. Gulping down air, "Now hear this, new orders for all Frames on this network, you are to defend this camp at all costs, place a navigation beacon here so we may return for further instructions," said Hawn. Just down one of the old giant trees suddenly toppled over, dirt being sent high into the air with the sickening sound of snapping wood. Hawn quickly turned to the ship, "Winston, forget the water, start up the ship. WE ARE LEAVING," said Hawn and screamed the final bit. Hawn quickly went around her immediate area collecting any sort of chart on the ground and boxes, Adora and Catra quickly stood up feeling the tension in the air yet again. Hawn in the middle of her gathering turned to the two Guardians and their Ghosts, "Get aboard the ship now, I'll be right behind you, I just need to get some of these charts on board. Some of these charts cannot be lost or destroyed" said Hawn in a scared and nervous tone.

Catra was first to run into the ship with Waxal beside her the whole time, with Adora and Resal hot on her heels. The other New Monarchy surveyor Winston was in the cockpit priming the engines to be turned on. "Get into one of the seats behind me, we are getting out of here," said Winston in an authoritative tone. Adora quickly found a chair and strapped herself in, she quickly caught Resal and gently started to pet her Ghost, in a comforting way, much to Resal's surprise and pleasure. Catra soon got into her own seat next to Adora, and she strapped herself in. Catra quickly looked around trying to find her Ghost until she felt something plant itself into her wild hair, followed by a snicker from Adora and Resal next to her, "Ya know, despite the unruliness of it all, this is quite comfy" said Waxal from what sounded like from above her. Then the realization hits her, her Ghost was taking refuge in her hair. As this was happening the sound of the transport ship's engine where roaring to life, "Hey get out of there now!" yelled Catra. "I don't think so, besides I won't be here long, not until we are safe in the air," said Waxal in a mirthful tone. "OH SHIT!", yelled Winston as the ship lurched to the side, followed by Hawn running up from behind Adora and Catra, "Take off now, we're in the middle of a Traveler damned Hive incursion zone!" yelled Hawn. Not needing to be told twice Winston pulled back on the stick of the ship and the transport ship quickly took off into the air.

As the ship left four very angry Hive Knights and hundreds if not thousands of Thrall with assorted Acolytes, all screaming and firing their weapons into the side of the ship. Causing those inside to lurch about, and leaving scorch marks on the side of the ship alongside a few dents. The Frames that were left behind, are shown to be all destroyed, either blown apart or ripped apart. Hawn throws herself into the chair next to Winston with a deep and exhausted sigh, "Get comfortable you too, it will take about three hours for us to get back to the city at the speed we are going," said Hawn. As the ship pulled out, both Adora and Catra wondered what would have happened if they were caught by those things…

Within the City

During those events with Adora and Catra, three Ghosts are seen floating around the lower skyline of the city just about thirty feet above the highest building in a line. These Ghosts were triplets born from the traveler, they all shared a link to each other on a deep level through light and spirit, though it's at a cost, they are all mute, though that doesn't stop them from communicating through binary code to themselves and others. The Ghost in front shined with a polished blue due to his shell, with four lights on each of his wings, he was known as Midas. The Ghost behind him was a bright red in color with black markings on her large chassis which featured worn armored plates she was known as Diane. At the back of the trio showed a green small slender Ghost with a deep analytical look in her eye as she seemed to be scanning the denizens of the city for her potential Guardian, her name was Celest, though her friends just called her Cel. 'Come on guys I know our Guardians have to be here' said Midas through their binary chat which sounded like a bunch of bird chirps to anyone unaccustomed to their speech. 'You know as well as I do, that to find someone dead within the city is hard, let alone to find s potential Guardian in it' said Diane in a binarily bored tone as she started to scan the ground far below her. Celest primed her eye to scan for long-range potential targets, 'Aw come on Diane, wouldn't it be neat to find our Guardians here in the city?' asked Celest in a joyful tone even though they had been on this search for about five days now. Suddenly Celest got a confirmed target on her scanner, she lets out a gasp in her high-pitched binary, 'By the Traveler guys I think I found my Guardian', squealed Celest in binary. Both Midas and Diane froze and turned in the same direction as Celest had scanned, her scan confirmation came from the east side of the city, nearby the bottom of the wall. Both Diane and Midas made a long-range scan in the same direction and they each got their own confirmation on a target of their own. Each letting out a shout of joy in binary they all started to do a small floating dance of some kind, which involved of floating from side to side, with the occasional twist up and down. Then with newfound determination and excitement, all three darted off to the east side of the city.

It took them about fifth-teen minutes for the three Ghosts to reach their destination, though the excitement certainly did help speed their progress up. They each approached the bodies that showed a confirmation on each of their scanners, from what they can tell the bodies were about six years old. Each one shows a similar wound but at a different spot of their body, followed by a bunch of smaller gashes on the various limbs from whatever is left. The Ghosts looked at each other simultaneously all with one thought, it was a gang war of some kind from all of the other various bodies. Their future Guardians' clothing looked to be all some the same group, and they remained relatively intact, saving the Ghosts from having to flash fabricate clothing for them. Once again they all simultaneously looked at each other and bobbed themselves in a way that was akin to nodding, and proceed to deconstruct themselves and perform that task they were sent to do.

In three brief but bright simultaneous flashes of light, and a moment later three gasps for air can be heard as three new Guardians were made. The first one to rise and sit up was a blonde human woman with her hair loose with light complexion skin, her old and worn leather jacket bore a city gang symbol. She scanned her surrounding area and found herself with two other women staring up at the sky gasping for air as much as she was. The second girl who sat up had black hair and peach skin she was also human, she to scanned the area she was in, her eyes filled with analytical wonder as to what was happening. The third and final girl to sit up had light brown skin with dark brown hair, she had a shocked look on her face as she looked around her immediate area. The blonde woman let out a groan of pain as she slowly put her under her and rose to her full height, showing that she was very tonally built for power. The second woman with black followed her example and she is shown to be very lithe and seemly built for speed, and the third and last woman with brown hair quickly got up showing that she was also built more for speed than power. The brown-haired woman felt something urge her to do something, "What is even happening right now" said the brown-haired woman with a groan. The black-haired woman groaned and tried to take a step and quickly fell as soon as she took a step, followed by her jacket suddenly igniting on fire for no reason. The black-haired woman's Ghost quickly materialized next to her in a flash of light to heal her and simultaneously put out the fire. This event of both fire and Ghost materializing out of nowhere startled the two other women making let out a shout of surprise. 'Don't be afraid, we are Ghosts and now each one of you has your own' said Celest in binary yet somehow all three of them could understand her, as Midas and Diane appeared next to their charges. Midas quickly zips around his chosen charge and spots something on his Guardians' sleeve, a stylized embroiled name that said, "Anne". Midas floats to his guardian's face, 'It looks like your name is Anne, well, nice to meet ya, I am Midas, and now I am your Ghost' said Midas in binary.

While this was happening Diane was conversing with her Guardian, 'Well would you look at that, I got a big girl for my chosen' said Diane as she floated around her Guardian. "I could say the same about you, you floating little eye" snarked the blonde woman. Diane was about to retort when she saw a massive embroiled name on the back of her leather jacket, it read "Sasha". Upon this revelation, Diane sprung, 'Well Sasha, I happen to be your Ghost now, so get used to me, 'cause we're stuck together now' said Diane in binary snark. The now-named Sasha takes a step back, realizing that was her name, but quickly growing to like it. "Sasha," says Sasha as if she is practicing saying it as if imagining how many ways she will hear it in the future. "Yeah, I'm gonna like that name," said Sasha

Simultaneously, Celest was geeking out with her new Guardian, 'I can't believe I finally found my Guardian after all this time; you look so cool in your gang outfit' said Celest in a happy voice as she buzzed about to and fro around her new Guardian. Celest took note of a broken wristband on the ground near her Guardian, on it held the phrase "Mercy need not given" however the "e" within the word was damaged so badly it looked like the letter "a" instead. Celest gave a pause, and came to a conclusion, 'Your name is Marcy it seems' said Celest in a happy tone, completely missing a similar embroiled name on the side of the Guardians jackets sleeve in a similar manner to Annes' jacket.

Diane immediately flew the center of the trio of newly risen Guardians, 'We have to get you to The Tower, right now, you need to be debriefed and report for training' stated Diane in binary. "Wait, we do have to do that?", asked Sasha immediately not liking being told what to do as she crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow wanting a decent answer before she did anything. "Yeah, I would like to know too, cause this is all so weird?", asked Marcy in an inquisitive tone. "I'd like to know as well, 'cause we just met and all," said Anne with apprehension in her voice as she rubbed her arm. 'That's a fair question' stated Celest. 'You are now all Guardians, you have powers that need to be honed and tempered, or else you might cause harm to innocents' said Midas. Diane immediately flew up above Midas, 'Exactly which is why we all need to go to the tower now, that way, we can get to business sooner' said Diane in excited binary. Sasha not sensing any kind of deceit in Diane came to a decision, "Okay, we'll go with you, lead the way then," said Sasha. With a happy chirping sound Celest started to lead the way to one of the massive creases in the wall that housed elevators that lead to the peak of the wall and subsequently The Tower.

The Boiling Lake, four miles outside of The Wall

The Boiling Lake was an uncommon tourist spot that brought in many of people from within the city, to come see the wonder of it all, because once a month the lake erupts in a geyser-like fashion, although most visitors usually look at it from s safe distance. One such event was about to take place but two beings didn't seem to care as the water was beginning to roll even harder as the temperature increased. They may have been about a mile out from the geyser, but they were still within the blast radius. A Ghost with white and green metal plates with articulate lines of engraved metal floated beside another Ghost with a purple glow emitting from her body. The white and green Ghost kept scanning the area around her. "Come on Bell we have to have find our Guardians soon," said the purple-glowing Ghost. Bell turned towards her friend, "You know as well as I, that we both got a confirmation in this spot for each of us, so we have to do this now Gaia" said Bell in an excited voice, the idea of getting her Guardian soon made her so happy. Gaia made sure to hover close to any rock that might be able to be used as a protective wall against any kind of hot water should the lake erupt. "Well, let's find them then and get out of here," said Gaia with urgency in her voice. Then as soon as Gaia finished her statement an alert was given to her, her chosen Guardian is close, and judging by Bell's reaction her Guardian is close as well. Bell was excitedly bobbing up and down trying to find the spot to where her Guardian would be at, while Gaia calmy kept searching. After twenty-two minutes had passed Bell had found the body that will soon be her Guardian, the body was nothing but a skeleton with some type of cloak around it. "I'm going to wait for you to find your Guardian Gaia because I want to raise mine with yours, we started this searching journey together we might as well finish it together," said Bell with a hopeful tune.

After some more scanning from Gaia, she had found the body of her Guardian, meanwhile as she was searching Bell was humming some kind of tune to herself as she eyed the Lake. "I found my Guardian Bell, so let's begin", said Gaia still anxious about the lake erupting and potentially melting them both into slag. They both deconstructed themselves simultaneously and simply floated there for a moment and then snapped back together causing two flashes of light to appear and then suddenly vanish. After several long moments, two gasps for air can be heard as two new Guardians were made.

The first to rise up was a woman with pale skin, brown hair, and golden-colored eyes, she gasped for air in desperate need. She wore a light grey cloak with a hood with matching pants with an average build. She quickly rose to her feet, and quickly looked around, seeing the boiling lake in the far-off distance. The brightness of the sun reflected off of the surface of the lake, and partially blinded her, she on reflex brought her hands up to her face to protect her eyes, only to be mesmerized by them. Meanwhile, while the pale woman was getting her bearings another woman was quickly getting to her feet nearby. She wore a white cloak around her with black pants, the woman had tan skin and purplish brown hair. She stood somewhat shorter than the pale girl with a non-athletic build, more so for someone who would hang around a library than as a fighter.

Bell immediately appeared in front of her charge, causing her to scream in shock and fall back onto the ground, "Hello, I am Bell your new Ghost, we kinda need to start moving cause the lake is going to blow up soon", said Bell in an airheaded tone. Meanwhile, her Guardian had a look of horror and confusion on her face as to what she had just learned. "WHY IS THE LAKING GOING TO BLOW UP?" exclaimed the tan woman. Bell completely ignored her terror and question, "Oh I can already tell you are going to be the light of the party" said Bell, giving a brief pause much to the ever-increasing horror and terror of her Guardian, "Wait, I think I got that saying wrong…oh well" said Bell. All of the commotion drew the attention of the pale-skinned woman, she looked over with an inquisitive look before she could say anything Gaia appeared in front of her face. This caused her to let out a squeak in surprise and jump back a couple of feet, Gaia was undisturbed by this, "I am Gaia, I am now your Ghost, and I hope our relationship will be very amicable", said Gaia. After a few seconds of pause the pale woman responds, "What exactly is going here, where am I, and why is that lake going to blow up?" said the pale woman. Gaia was about to respond but the ground began to shake and rumble as if water was flowing beneath it. "We can talk about that later, right now we gotta get out of here now, so follow me!" said Gaia as she took off down a dirt path that lead straight towards a massive wall. "Yeah, come the light of the party, let's get moving!" yelled Bell as she floated off rapidly behind Gaia. As the two women stood in their spots trying to comprehend what is even happening the lake suddenly erupts high into the sky looking more like some kind of bomb went off deep inside of it than an eruption.

The two women paled at the sight of this massive wall of scalding hot water rising high into the air, they quickly ran after the tiny Ghosts in search of protentional safety. The tan woman was yelling in freight whenever a drop splash of scalding water would land near them while the pale woman kept a look of tentative determination with it breaking every time water got just a little too close for comfort. After running for about nine minutes they finally reached a safe zone where tourists would come and watch the lake erupt from a safe distance, both women gasping for air once again. Still gasping for air, the pale woman quickly turns to her Ghost, "Please tell me just what is going on?", said the pale woman. "I'm with her on this, what is even happening right now, I am so confused," said the tan woman. Bell gently floated up to her Guardian's face, "You are Guardians of The City, chosen to defend the Traveler," said Bell. "We are sorry for bringing you both back the way we did, but at least you are safe now," said Bell, with a happy twirl of her small metallic body. "We need to get you to The Tower, and get your debrief and given proper training and assignment," said Gaia, the pale woman looked at her Ghost with some apprehension but sensed no hostility so she relented and nodded. The tan woman just looked at her Ghost with suspicion but also relented and nodded in compliance.

The two Ghosts lead their Guardians to the tourist location's shipwright, as he was working on repairing a tourist transport ship from underneath it, only his feet stood out from underneath it. The sound of a ratchet clinking and rattling as he tightened a bolt on the lower left side of the ship near the nose. Gaia being the more presentable of the four, floated forward first. "Pardon me, but we need access to a ship in order to get to The Tower, is there any available for us to use?" said Gaia in a kind but diplomatic tune. The shipwright never even turned from his work, in fact, the sounds of the ratchet became louder somehow, "You can find a ship in dock number two, that one always goes from here to The Tower, one should be here within the next fifteen minutes" said the shipwright. The party of four walked alongside the ship docks they all found a bench to sit on, with the two women taking the opposite ends. Bell appeared in front of her Guardian, "Hmm, you know, that misused phrase I used earlier might be good to give you a name. With how bright your clothes are you're practically a light," said Bell. This gave her a pause for half a second, "That's it. I got your name, combining ancient golden age texts of other languages and with how bright your clothes are, your name should be 'Luz', it's from the language known as Spanish and it means 'light'" said Bell in a joyful tone. After a moment Bell paused and seemed to grow nervous, "Do you like it?" asked Bell in an apprehensive tone. The tan woman thought about it for a moment, "You know what I actually like it, that's my name, I am Luz!" said the now-named Luz. Gaia wanting to do something similar to her friend floated up to her Guardian, "Hmm, going off what I said earlier, 'amicable', I like that word, Amity your name should be Amity" said Gaia in a diplomatic tone. The pale woman gave the name some thought, it was simple and suited her just fine, turning to her Ghost, "Yes. Alright then, that will be my name, I am Amity" said the now-named Amity.

Luz turned to Amity and held out her hand with a grin, "Hello Amity, I am Luz the Guardian" said Luz with glee. Amity looked at the woman's hand and then back at her, with a two-second pause she held out her own and grasped Luz, "Hello Luz, I am Amity the Guardian" said Amity with a subdued happiness. As the duo introduced themselves the roar of an engine can be heard as a transport ship was rapidly approaching. "Finally," said Gaia with a groan. "I can't wait to see Zavala again. His sunny disposition always makes me feel good," said Bell, causing Gaia to quickly turn to her in shock. This confuses with the two women not knowing who this Zavala is. Gaia turns to them, "You'll understand soon. Try not to get intimidated when he looks you in the eye" said Gaia in a tone that spoke of a past bad experience.

Zavala's Office in The Tower

Zavala stood in front of a massive office window that overlooked the city his desk held seven different reports but all had the same subject in mind. Seven new Guardians arrived in one day, seven new Guardians that needed training, seven new Guardians that he couldn't give those resources to. Many of The City Guardians, Warlocks especially, are attempting to help Osiris find the paths through the Vex time gates, for what purpose, he did not know yet. But everything was stretched very thin, especially with the situation on the moon getting handled recently, though Eris Morn will always be someone who somewhat unnerves him. Zavala couldn't spare anything to help train these seven new Guardians, at any other time he could of, but here he is in front of a difficult choice. At least he thought he at the moment, as a report came in from his most trusted fireteam, Fireteam Hyena, they had a large number of private resources that could help these new Guardians, let alone the plot of land their leader owned known as The Farm way out into the mountains.

Zavala walked to his massive desk and pressed an intercom button, "I want you to bring all seven of the new arrivals to the training hanger, and alert Fireteam Hyena to go there, tell them I have a new task for them to do," said Zavala. He kept his finger on the intercom button keeping the line open after a brief pause, "and tell them that 'I will owe them a favor' if they do this task, it should really get their attention" said Zavala as he took his finger off of the intercom button. He stretched his arms and proceeded to leave his office, heading for the training hanger. 'They are newly risen Guardians, how much trouble can they cause?" mused Zavala within his head.

Tower Training Hanger

If one were to see the training hanger, one would see an organized location with a firing range and weapon racks, with a section of spots where Guardians can practice their more explosive powers. This was not those times, the hanger looked as if a hurricane came through, met an earthquake, and tried to fist fight it to the death. Metal crates lay smashed or broken, amongst the wooden splinters of broken targets, while gunfire can be heard in the car corners. Catra is first seen holding a basic rocket launcher with wide eyes and a gleeful smile, "Adora, I want to blow something up!" exclaimed Catra with a subtle purr in the back of her throat. Adora can be seen trying to fix some of the boxes that were smashed despite their horribly managed appearance. "Catra, please stop, we don't even own this stuff," said Adora in a pleading tone, but it fell on deaf ears. Meanwhile, Sasha, Marcy, and Anne had somehow found the sparrows and turned part of the hanger into a pseudo-demolition derby. Sasha flew into the air on her sparrow, "YYYEEEEEAAAAHHH" Sasha screamed with an almost psychotic smile. Simultaneously, Marcy and Anne flew up on their own sparrow going for a midair collision with Sasha. "JUMP" both Anne and Marcy exclaimed. Sasha, Marcy, and Anne all jumped off their sparrows causing them to collide midair resulting in a large explosion that rattled the area. In another corner Amity was creating a large orb of purple energy and was quickly losing control of it as it grew bigger and bigger, "Oh no, what is happening, I think I'm doing it wrong" said Amity in a worried tone as she started to run around holding the ever growing purple ball. Meanwhile, Luz had manifested her own powers of solar light, and it was not going well. Luz can be seen running around on fire, while she wasn't burning she thought she was, "I'm on fire, does anyone know how to put these flames out?" said Luz in a nervous tone as she ran around the room leaving a fire trail in her wake.

Zavala had been staring at this chaos for about two minutes, in absolute shock at what he was seeing. Never in all of his years had he seen Guardians with such potential of destruction yet so undisciplined grandeur. He hoped in his younger years he was never like this. The sound of three approaching footsteps can be heard as Fireteam Hyena entered the room. In the front was a large Titan in chrome armor, his shoulder pads were large and could cover most standard Titan shoulders twice over, and his chest piece showed a belt feed attachment to feed his weapons more ammo, the Titan was a walking wall and he knew it. The Titan is known as Ashen, he was an Awoken earth-born man, his skin was whiter than snow with energy tendrils ever moving on his cheeks, with orange glowing eyes, reddish brown hair, and war tattoo lines on his chin, nose, and tear duct spot on his face. A strong angular jawline showed his somewhat dislike of what he was seeing happen in the hanger. To Ashen's left was a Warlock known as Samuel-8, he is a bronze-colored Exo with six horns on the crown line of his head from the radio he installed a while back, and glowing purple eyes and internals inside his mouth. The third and last member of the fireteam was Sharma, a human Hunter, he had a large tuff of hair at the top of his head, with sharp jawline, green eyes, with peach skin complexion, and four lines tattooed over his right eye.

Zavala turned to face the team, "Fireteam Hyena, good to see you all return safely. I take it the situation within the Black Garden on the Moon has been handled?" said Zavala with concern. "Oh yeah, we handled that problem Zaval", said Sharma with an upbeat tone. Samuel-8 walked forward, "He is correct, I have listed and written the report for our raid into the Black Garden Zavala. I still cannot understand as to why such Vex constructions were designed to handle such outputs of darkness." Said Samuel-8 as he started to trail off, but stopped himself. Ashen walked forward to add his input, "We lost the other three members to the Garden Commander Zavala, they were taken by The Sanctified Mind before it fell" said Ashen in a sorrowful tone. Zavala knew that tone well, Ashen blamed himself for their deaths.

Zavala cleared his throat and gestured to the chaos in the hangar. "This is what I have called you all here for, this is your new assignment," said Zavala. All three members looked to the chaos inside the hangar and then back at Zavala, the realization was slowly setting in. "No, no, nn- I refuse, no," said Sharma even interrupting himself midsentence. "You cannot be doing this to us, after everything we just went through," said Samuel-8. "These Guardians are greener than the grasses of Io, why are you giving them to us," said Ashen. Zavala grew a solemn look as he looked at them, "The Tower's resources are spread extremely thin now, and I know all three of you have your own supplies to help train these new Guardians. With how things are now, I will have to send new arrivals with every veteran Guardian to better help them. Your team just happens to be the first" said Zavala in a regretful tone.

Ashen gestured to Zavala to give them a moment as the trio formed a huddle to converse. "Why should we even take in these blueberries? They will be fine on their own," said Sharma. "That maybe, but not a lot of Guardians last long alone out there in the wilds, we got lucky because Ashen found us each during a bad time," said Samuel-8. "Like it or not, they need someone to show them the ropes and mentor them. We never had anyone to teach us, we had to learn about our powers ourselves, and regain them during the Red War, we can pass on the lessons we have learned and maybe spare these Guardians the painful lessons we have learned" said Ashen. Sharma thought hard about what Ashen said and finally relented, "Okay, fine. But if any of them touch my stuff, I'll kill them myself," said Sharma. Ashen walked up to Zavala and held out his hand, "Okay Zavala, we will train them" said Ashen. Zavala grasped Ashen's hand in agreement. Zavala then began to leave, "I trust you can handle the situation below?" asked Zavala. "You think too little of us Zavala. We can quiet down a room, though you may not like it" said Sharma. Zavala suppressed a groan and continued walking out of the hangar, "I will pretend I didn't hear that" said Zavala.

"So how are we doing this," asked Samuel-8. "I'll handle this one team," said Ashen. As his signature weapon materialized into his hand, a long and round rifle that had ten rotary barrels with a gunmetal black body and a red ammo hud with the barrels at the end being burned, infamous in the Crucible, the Sweet Business. The barrels spun to life as Ashen connected his chest pieces belt feed into the gun, and Ashen began to fire. Ashen aimed to hit near the rampaging girl with the rocket launcher. The rounds zipping by her head caused her to freeze on the spot and drop her launcher, causing it to fire off its last round, into the air. The rocket managed to hit another sparrow Marcy had found and caused it to set her cape on fire, this caused her friends to rush to her to try to put her out as she jumped off the sparrow. While Ashen was still firing he hit the purple glowing ball in the hand of Amity causing it to disperse. Ashen aimed and fired at the water system on the ceiling causing all of the sprinklers to go off, putting the fire out on Luz quickly.

Everyone in the room looked up at the rafters that the three veteran Guardians stood on. Without saying anything they all leaped over the railing and floated down to the ground. Ashen stepped forward letting his stature show that he meant business. "All of you fall in. Form a line in front of me!" said Ashen to the seven girls. Quickly all of them fell in line, some having a rebellious look in their eyes others one of awe. "I am Ashen, leader of Fireteam Hyena, these are my teammates Samuel-8 and Sharma. You have been assigned to us to be mentored and trained by Zavala himself, this means you must listen to what we say, it might save your life. For now, get your effects in order, because we are leaving The Tower in fifteen minutes. You New Lights need a wide open place to train, and we can provide that," said Ashen. Samuel-8 stepped forward, "You can come with us, and receive a proper education about what you are now or-" said Samuel-8 but he was cut off but Sharma, "Or you could go out there beyond the wall and potentially die a final death," said Sharma in a serious tone. "Any questions?" asked Ashen to the women. A still silence filled the air none of them spoke. "Alright then, go to docking bay thirty-seven, you will find our dropship that we will take to The Farm. If you're not there on time, we will find you and drag you there ourselves," said Ashen. The three veteran Guardians left in sync with each other leaving all seven of the women standing there.

As soon as the trio left the hanger, the tension in the room was broken, "He could of gotten our attention in some other way" mumbled Catra. This caused a couple of snickers from Sasha, Marcy, Anne, and Luz. "I don't know Catra, things were getting pretty bad in here," said Adora with apprehension. "I have to agree with her. I don't even want to know what would of happened if he hadn't of shot that ball" said Amity. Luz seeing potential conflict arising stepped in, "look, guys, we have to get going, because, after everything we have done here, I don't think a lot of others would be willing to teach us" said Luz in a diplomatic tone. They all nodded in agreement to that and then began walking to docking bay thirty-seven. Anne then walked in front of everyone, and began to walk backwards to face them all, "And I want to find out what this Farm place is, sound kinda fun" said Anne. "Since we are all going to be working with each other a lot we should all introduce ourselves huh?" Adora asked rhetorically. "I'm Adora", "I'm Luz", "I am Marcy", "Sasha", "I am Amity", "I'm Catra", "I'm Anne". All of them gave friendly smiles and grins to each other as they introduced themselves while they got closer to docking bay thirty-seven.

As they entered the docking bay they saw a large ship that looked more like a flying box than it does an aircraft, standing outside with Ashen holding a holo-tablet with the ship's manifest. He looked up from his tablet to see the seven women approaching. "Good. You're all right on time. Please get aboard and find a place to get comfortable. We have a long flight ahead of us. We are going way up into the mountains." Said Ashen. As the women stood at the bottom of the ramp a sense of hesitation fell upon them all. Adora was the first to take the step onto the ramp followed by Sasha, Amity, Catra, Marcy, Anne, and lastly Luz. Ashen watched them all enter the ship, one by one he knew that this was a team forming, and he wanted to be there for when they became fully realized. "All hands stand ready; we are heading home," said Ashen as he presses the button on the side of the ship causing the ramp to raise back up into the ship. The engines quickly roared to life and quickly entered the air, and just as quickly flew out of the hanger making a beeline towards the mountain.
