(A/N: A little early, but I decided to put it up as I was bored. Anyway, tell me what you think as it progresses. Also, I still have a poll on my page determining Maggie's position in the Ninja, given she has a limp)
In the hangar bay at the monastery, the main doors were being dented in the process of being rammed by Aspheera's snakes. Eventually, they were blasted off.
In her bedroom, P.I.X.A.L. moved the covers close as she struggled to sleep while dreaming what had happened to Zane.
The mech was struck by Aspheera's magic to make it disappear. "Look out!" Geoff yelled before Aspheera fires a shot.
P.I.X.A.L. kept moving in her sleep.
Zane quickly pushes Dragon aside. "Zane!" Nya yelled as the shot soon hits him, making him disappear. Dragon looked up to see the scorch mark from where Zane once was while Nya took her hood off. "Oh no! Zane!"
"Zane!" Cole yelled. Blake takes his hood off and runs over to the spot before he gets down on his knees and slams his prosthetic, in anger.
P.I.X.A.L. then found herself trying to grab Zane, who looks at her with fear before he is dragged away into a portal. "Zane!" She yelled.
She soon woke up. "NO!" She soon sat up, breathing heavily before turning to a nearby photo of her and Zane by one of the trees that Blake had taken, grabs it, and looks at it, still saddened.
"P.I.X.A.L.?" Nya was heard as the light came on.
She and the others come in. "Are you okay?" Blake asked, concerned about his sister.
"I am fine." P.I.X.A.L. replied before turning back to the photo. "I was dreaming about the moment he... he..."
Blake puts a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay. I know."
She looks at the photo again. "I find it difficult to accept that he is gone."
"Me too." Lloyd said before sighing.
"We all do." Jay said.
"It just doesn't feel real." Geoff said.
Blake started to rub P.I.X.A.L.'s back in a comforting way when Dragon immediately comes in. "Zane's alive!" He announced.
They all turned to him, surprised. "What?" Lloyd asked.
"Where?" Kai asked.
"How?" Jay asked.
"Quiet, all of you." Dragon replied. "Listen. I spoke to Aspheera at Kryptarium Prison. She didn't destroy Zane. She banished him to a distant realm."
"How do you know she's not lying?" Gewuji asked.
"It's the truth. She kept gloating as I left."
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Kai asked.
"Yeah, we gotta go after him!" Blake said, standing up.
"What realm?" Lloyd asked, referring to Dragon's first sentence.
"The Never-Realm." He replied.
"Huh?" Kai asked.
"What?" Lloyd asked.
"The Never-Realm?" Nya asked.
"I've never heard of it." Cole said.
"There are few who have." Dragon replied before leaving the room. Everyone soon followed him.
Out in the hallway, Dragon heads to his bedroom. "Wait!" Lloyd said as he and the others move to follow him.
The doors to Cirrus and Maggie's rooms soon open as they both come out. "What's going on?" Cirrus asked.
"What's wrong?" Maggie asked.
"Master Wu said that Zane's alive." Blake replied as he passed by his girlfriend, surprising her.
"In some realm called the Never-Realm." Geoff said as he passed by his wife.
The two girls soon go with them as Lloyd came up to Dragon. "What's the Never-Realm?" He asked.
"According to legend, it is the most distant and remote of all realms." Dragon replied. "My father only spoke of it to me once..." He soon stopped, making everyone bump into each other, but luckily not Cirrus. "...in warning." He resumes walking as everyone looked at each other before following him again. "He told me of all the realms of creation, it was the one I should never visit. He told me it was a cold and dangerous place." Gewuji comes closer. "He forbade it."
"Um, 'forbade', as in absolutely never ever?" She asked, stopping him.
"Why?" Kai asked as the others also stop.
"Yeah, what's wrong with it?" Cole asked.
"I don't know." Dragon replied. "He went there only once, and said he nearly couldn't find his way home. He said it was unlike the other realms. He warned me that others would not be as fortunate." He resumes walking as the others follow him.
Dragon enters his room as the others follow him in. "Well, that's just great." Jay sarcastically said as Dragon grabs his cane. "Creepy and vague."
Dragon heads over to his cabinet. "I will use Aspheera's staff to find Zane." He opens the cabinet. "It banished him there. It will work for me, too." He grabs a box and turns to him. "Once I have found him, I will use the Traveler's Tea to bring us both home." He opens the box to show him.
"You mean all 9 of us." Lloyd said. "Because we're going with you."
"Yeah!" Cole replied, agreeing.
"Count on us." Blake said, also agreeing.
"Absolutely not." Dragon replied. "I cannot allow it. What happened to him is my fault and mine alone. It is my responsibility."
"Hey, no way!" Kai said, holding up a fist.
"We're not sitting this one out." Cole said.
"Zane's our brother!" Jay said.
"We're a team!" Gewuji said.
"Enough!" Dragon replied, slamming the box shut. "I will risk no other lives. My foolishness has already caused enough damage."
"Are you saying we should quit?" Geoff asked, knowing what he is implying. "Have you forgotten that Ninja never quit?" (A/N: I can't believe no one retorted that Ninja never quit in the show when he forbade them)
"I have not." He puts the box down. "But there are times when you have to. Besides, Cirrus is due at some point."
"At least take one of us with you." Gewuji said, coming forward. "The fault is not just yours. I gave Zane the staff we took from the Explorer's Club which he tried to give to you."
"Gewuji, you cannot blame yourself." He comes up to her and places a hand on her shoulder. "And you're too young."
She slaps it away. "I'm an adult now, Master."
"No matter your age, I won't allow it!"
Blake then moved forward. "Then I'll volunteer." He said.
"Blake, you need to be there for Cirrus, when she has her baby."
"I can handle myself without Blake." She said.
"None of you even bother to state your reasons anymore." He turns away. "My decision is final."
Lloyd soon thinks of something before turning back. "Okay." He said. "We understand, Master. But this feels a little rushed. Maybe you should just, you know, sleep on it."
The others were becoming confused before Geoff realises what he is planning to do and comes forward. "At least for a night." He said. "And then come up with a game plan."
Dragon turns around. "A game plan?" He asked.
"Yeah, you know, prepare." Lloyd replied. "Think it all out."
Jay soon realised. "Um, yeah!" He said. "Yeah, exactly."
"You're the one who's always telling us not to rush into stuff, right?" Blake asked, knowing what Lloyd plans to do as well.
Dragon sighs. "Very well." He replied, reluctantly agreeing. "I will meditate on it." Lloyd turns to the others and winks at them before they smirk, obviously knowing what he plans to do.
A few minutes later, the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Maggie and Cirrus were all in the living room. "So, what are you planning?" Kai asked.
"We go to the Never-Realm ourselves." Lloyd replied.
"But, didn't you hear Master Wu?" Nya asked. "He cannot allow us."
"I have to agree." Maggie replied. "It's much too dangerous. I mean, look at my leg. I got a limp now."
"Maggie, we're not giving up." Geoff said, kneeling down to her. "Like I told Master Wu. Ninja never quit."
"But, how are we gonna get the Traveler's Tea from Dragon without alerting him?" Jay asked.
"I'll go it alone." Lloyd replied. "You guys get us all ready." He takes off while putting his hood on.
