The Loud House:

A Magical Leap (An Adventure Time Inspire Story)

Chapter 1

Fair out in space in another dimension, an asteroid is hurdling towards a planet that kind of looks like Earth. Where it's heading exactly…we'll get back to that later. As we head to the Loud House dimension, we see Lincoln and Lucy Loud heading home from the library. Lincoln borrowed a few books, while Lucy only borrowed one… which she's reading while walking.

Lincoln (Looks over at his sister): "So, what are you reading there Lucy?"

Lucy (Looks up at her brother): "It's a new book that explains the different body parts of a demon in great detail."

Lincoln (A bit grossed out): "Are you sure you should be reading that?"

Lucy (Develops a smile): "I can handle it."

She Goes back to reading…

Lucy: "Did you know that some demons' hearts have eyes and mouths on the left and right side of them."

Lincoln (Tries not to think about it): "What about Mom and Dad? They'll probably take it from you if they catch you reading it."

Lucy: "Don't worry. I have my way of hiding things."

But the two siblings soon stop right in their tracks, as they start to hear a strange whisper going…

?: "Hey?"

They look around until they see a figure standing in the street. But besides wearing a cloak, Lincoln and Lucy can see he's no ordinary person, but a living, talking skeleton walking towards them. Much to the boy's horror and the girl's delight.

Cloaked Skeleton: "Would you like some free magic powers."

To show that he means business he summons a blue fireball out of thin air.

Cloaked Skeleton: "Magical powers for absolutely nothing …but…choosing to expect them."

Lincoln, out of fear, and wanting to get his sister and himself to safety. Drops his library books grabs Lucy by the hand and starts to run.

Lincoln: "Let's get out of here Lucy!"

Unfortunately for Lincoln, Lucy didn't move at all, getting the two nowhere. She looks up at the cloaked skeleton, clearly interested in this offer of his.

Lucy: "Free magical powers you say?"

Cloaked Skelton: "Are you interested?"

Lucy: "For both me…and my brother?"

This causes Lincoln to stop and turns to his sister in complete shock.

Lincoln (Whispers): "Lucy…what are you doing?"

Cloaked Skelton: "Then do you expect?"

Lucy (With a smile): "Indeed we do."

Lincoln: "What?!"

The cloaked skeleton then develops an evil smirk as storm clouds start to fill the sky with lighting shooting out.

Cloaked Skelton: "Then the deal is made. Bwahaha!"

The next thing Lincoln knew, he and Lucy were engulfed in blue flames as the cloaked skeleton through the fireball at them. Everything starts to go dark…

Cloaked Skelton: "Good luck…" (Whispers): "You're going to need it."

When Lincoln finally woke up, the first thing he notices is that he gained a slight headache from the ordeal.

Lincoln (Holds his head in pain): "Augh…"

When the pain died down, he looks up to find that he was no longer in Royal Woods. When Lincoln gets up from the ground he looks around to see the land he's now in. With what looks like a rainbow flying around in the air doing loop-de-loops and nose dives in the clouds. A castle with two statues on the side blowing bubbles in the distance. And winter wonderland right next door to a land of fire.

Lincoln (With sparkles in his eyes): "Woah!"

Lucy: "Lincoln, over here."

In response to his sister's call, the boy turns to see her standing next to…a temple? As he got closer, Lincoln sees that this temple is…not only very big but has an interesting design. With a giant lily pad with a star in the center on top, windows that are designed to look like flies, and a front door with a wizard's hat carved on it.

Lucy: "This must be where we get the powers. I can sense it."

Lincoln (Develops an uneasy look): "Lucy, are you sure you want to go through with this? We were just sent here by a walking skeleton wearing a cloak…That through fire at us!"

Lucy: "It's worth a shot Lincoln. Gaining mystical powers that could unlock an endless flow of possibilities throughout the universe is a huge opportunity for anyone who desires it."

Lincoln: "But… what about your desire to be a vampire?"

Lucy: "I can have more than one goal in my life big brother. And gaining magic powers is one of mine…" (Looks over at him with a smile): "As well as yours."

Not sure how to respond to that, Lincoln looks away nervously.

Lincoln: "Maybe…it would be cool to fly around with dragon wings..." (Looks back): "But…"

But before the conversation continues, the front door swings open, and walks out is a giant walking and talking frog, wearing a blue robe with a huge star in the center and a pointy blue wizard's hat atop his head. But what's most shocking to the two Loud siblings is that this frog wizard looks exactly like…

Lincoln and Lucy: "Hops?!"

This causes the wizard to look at the two confusingly while scratching the bottom of his chin.

Frog Wizard (In a bold voice): "Who is this Hops you speak of children? I am Hopkins Bufo the grand-head wizard of Toad-Worts Academy. Where young ones like yourselves come to join the community of wizards. Gaining magical abilities…for example."

Hopkins stretches out, opening his palms, and just like before with the Cloaked Skelton, summons two blue fireballs out of thin air. But this causes Lincoln to grab his sister by the shoulders and have them step back a few inches away.

Hopkins: "Now…"

After making the fireballs disappear, Hopkins slowly steps backward inside the temple, gesturing the two siblings to follow him. Once inside Lincoln and Lucy continue to be amazed by what they see before their eyes. Different creatures from dragons to talking and talking candy people, wearing blue robes with little stars on them, performing different magic spells. When they look back at each other they notice they are wearing blue robes as well.

Hopkins: "When you complete a magic lesson and or task, you'll earn a star badge. Once your robes are full of all the badges, a ceremony will be held, fusing all of them into one big badge. Making you become a full-edge ultimate wizard!"

Lucy "Ooo…"

Lincoln (Taps his chin): "Well, I guess it won't hurt to take a few classes. But we do have to get home before dinner…And pick up our library books from the side-walk." (Turns to his sister): "How does that sound Luce?"

But Lucy is too invested to respond.

Lincoln: "Lucy?"

Lucy: "Yeah…" (Shakes her head): "That sounds fair."

Hopkins then out a bell and gives it a ring.

Hopkins: "Then let the lessons commence."
