Miles POV - Earth 42

The Prowler slowly walked up to Miles with deep hatred as Uncle Aaron threw him a clawed gauntlet. Miles was confused, because if his Uncle Aaron couldn't be the prowler, who could it be? Peter Parker? He knew that on Earth 42, there was no Spider-Man, so that could be the answer.

The Prowler took one more step forward. "Your dad is still alive?"

"What?"

"Your father, you said he's still alive." The Prowler pressed in his menacing voice. Miles eyed him with a deep sense of fear. He hated being tied up to Uncle Aaron's punching bag like this. He could feel the chains pressing into his wrists.

Answering the Prowler's question about his dad, Miles quietly said, "Yeah."

"Huh."

You could almost hear the faint buzzing of the air conditioner, making the already cold air cool. The tension was so great that you could cut it with a knife.

"Who are you?" Miles asked.

A slight pause. The Prowler stood eye-to-eye with Miles, staring at him as if he could see right through his soul. Finally, the Prowler's helmet pieces slowly broke apart, revealing his identity.

"I'm Miles Morales," the Prowler said as his braids bounced in position. "But you, can call me the Prowler."

Gwen POV - Earth 1610

Okay guys, let's do this one last time. My name is Gwen Stacy. I was bitten by a radioactive spider. And for the last three and a half years, I've been the one and only Spider-Woman. You might think you know the rest... but you don't. You see, one day, something weird happened. Now weird things happen to me all the time, but this was really weird. My best friend Miles sent himself home using the Go Home Machine, only it didn't exactly send him home. Since he was bitten by a spider from another dimension, it sent him to the spider's dimension, E-42, instead of his home dimension, E-1610. Now, I have to save him. I never found the right band, so I made my own. I'm traveling to Earth 42 with Peter, Hobie, Pavitr, Margo, and the rest of the old gang before it's too late.
