"A Croaking Chorus"

Arch-Son was still observing some events he meets a council of variants of himself all of them being counterparts to the worlds Bayonetta has visited. Arch-Son 2 was wearing Japanese clothes while Arch-Son 3 was wearing armor akin to B2 Bayonetta.

"So how are our attempts to prevent the great depression going on?" Arch-Son 1 asked.

"Our other two counterparts are missing!" Arch-Son 3 asked.

"Calm yourself, they are doing their own things." Arch-Son 2 said.

"Yes our brothers are also trying to prevent the dangers from occurring but only I possess the power to save all of the Cereza variants." Arch-Son 1 said.

"Then we should turn our attention to Bayonetta, Strider, and Kitty." Arch-Son 2 said.

They were watching the battle between Viola and Strider "Ran off to bully Little Red Riding Hood, did you? Predictable." Bayonetta said.

Bayonetta aimed her guns at the wolf but Viola got in the way "Wait!" Viola said.

"What are you up to, kitty?" Bayonetta asked.

"You can't! You don't know who he really is." Viola said.

"Impossible." Bayonetta realized it's Luka.

She draws her guns away and Luka is in pain and he leaves. "Each world the Multiverse loses seems to be making it more and more unstable. It's why he's like that." Viola said.

Bayonetta seemed ready to help Luka "Please, wait! If we can get to the Alphaverse and stop Singularity, we might be able to help him." Viola said.

"Might" isn't good enough." Bayonetta said.

She showed Viola the Chaos Gear "And at any rate, I only have three of these." Bayonetta said.

"Let me take care of him!" Viola begged.

"I'm in no mood for jokes." Bayonetta said.

"Please! You have to be the one to find all the Chaos Gears." Viola said.

"Look, I know how you feel…" Viola said.

"So?" Bayonetta asked.

"...But trust me. He means a lot to me, too." Viola said.

"He's a bit of a fool, and a reckless one at that. Always getting himself into some kind of trouble. But, he always pops back up with that foolish grin, no worse for the wear. This time will be no different." Bayonetta said.

"However… If he doesn't pop back up this time, I'll have you tearing apart reality to find him. "Got that, kitty?"Bayonetta asked.

"Yeah, I got it." Viola said.

Bayonetta gave a look to be more serious "Sir yes sir!" Viola said.

Viola grabbed her gear and left. The Arch-Sons were observing this event "How can we be sure that preventing Luka from saving the girl will prevent the great depression?" Arch-Son 3 asked.

"The girl is responsible for that event." Arch-Son 2 said.

"Regardless, we shall prevent that event from happening. We must contact our other counterparts alerting them of our plan." Arch-Son said.

The two others nodded. In Cairo: Zamalek Bayonetta continued with finding the Chaos Gear she ran into a new type of Homunculi Castellanus. She attempted to strike it but there was a force field keeping Bayonetta away. Bayonetta used Demon Slave as demons were more powerful to breach the field.

They weakened it and the base form attacks. Bayonetta destroyed it. She saw a holographic image of Jeanne "Princess, you must not follow!" she said.

"Is that Jeanne? And "princess?" You must be joking." Bayonetta said.

"Princess Cereza sounds like a beautiful name." Arch-Son said.

Bayonetta follows the alternate Jeanne's echo of memory "Please, return and leave this to me!" B3 Jeanne said.

Bayonetta fell into quicksand and fall into a cavern the Venom's caress Bayonetta sigh "IS your grand scheme simply to bore me to death?" Bayonetta asked.

She entered a huge cave and saw another echo of memory it was this world's Jeanne and Cereza fighting each other "I made it clear you were not to follow." B3 Jeanne said.

"And when someone gives me an order, I just have to disobey." B3 Bayonetta said.

"You really are quite the headstrong I'll have to force you to listen then. Prepare yourself!" Jeanne said.

Jeanne jumped onto the demon frog Baal. Baal began attacking Bayonetta. The Witch of Genesis used all her strength to fight Baal. Once Baal was weakened Jeanne decided to fight up close and personal.

The two witches were evenly matched Jeanne grabbed Bayonetta by the throat. Bayonetta got a glimpse of this timeline's Bayonetta and Jeanne. "That is enough!" Jeanne said.

She kicked Jeanne's hand and the two still fought Jeanne used Baal to lull her Bayonetta to sleep. "You mustn't go alone." Princess Cereza said.

"The Interloper has extended the challenge to me. I will meet it and then return. Have faith. I'll see you again soon princess." Jeanne said.

She leaves and the princess Cereza falls unconscious. Egypt Jeanne lets go of Bayonetta and rubs her hand on her cheeks. She smiles at her and disappears. Bayonetta turned around to see the real Baal "A powerful witch with regal beauty and fire perhaps I can hang my hopes on you." Baal said.

"Please, you must save my mistress." she begged.

"Well of course, that's why I've come. I've always wanted to rescue the lady fair." Bayonetta said.

"I must thank you, noble witch. Perhaps a song." Baal said.

She began to sing "Save the audition. Time is short." Bayonetta wasn't in the mood for songs.

Baal became Bayonetta's new Demon Slave. Bayonetta continued onwards through the underground caverns. She entered a cavern and entered a massive room. "It seems to be a puzzle room." Bayonetta said.

She saw purple fog and figured it might be poisonous. "Maybe my new friend can walk in this." Bayonetta said.

Bayonetta summoned Baal and the demon fog could swim freely in this poison. Baal activates the puzzle's defenses and allows Bayonetta to return to the surface. She encountered a new Homunculi Murus. It was a giant snail-like creature. It unleashed blades. Bayonetta dodge the blades which caused her breasts to move an inch.

Bayonetta used her Demon Masquerade to attack but the Murus used a shield that prevented it from getting injured. "No need to get tense up that bad. Relax! We're just getting started." Bayonetta said.

Bayonetta fights it and used Baal to sing which she unleashes a rain of red poison. Once it was weakened Bayonetta summoned Baal for the Umbran Climax and the fog eat the Homunculi whole.

"Quite the power lunch. Sure you'll be all right?" Bayonetta joked.

She noticed Baal seems to be disappearing as if she was offended "I was only joking!" Bayonetta quickly said.

"Not… the creature. My mistress… is growing weaker… But all is… not lost… hurry… Please… you must… find her." Baal said.

She disappeared and Bayonetta knew she must hurry "Jeanne I'm coming." Bayonetta said.
