Hey guys Kurama here with something that's really gonna help me calm down from the recent heat of these past few weeks.

Quick reminder that this story is meant for me to have fun but also explore my creativity but my ability to write a concrete story.
Let's begin!
"Come back here you freak!" A boy says as he and his friends proceed to chase the boy in front of them in attempt to beat him within a inch of his life.
You're peobably wondering, who are these bozos chasing?
Welp, they're chasing me because of...
"Hey, no one told your mom to keep spreading her legs but she still did it!" I shout freely as I duck under a huge construction pipe and continue running as fast I can.
Yeah, I tend to have a bit of loose tongue when it comes to insulting people, which often lands me in trouble.
My mom says that it's the only I inherited from my dad, apart from my charming looks.
But back to these idiots though.
"You're fucking dead, you damn nerd!"
Once I'm out of there, I then climb a tree with my bullies still behind me.
I begin to swing myself like that game kids used to play called monkey bars to gain some distance and get back down to safety.
"I know you're here, you little shit!" The leader yells out.
Oh, Ryan, I'm gonna insulting you the most but hey!
Maybe there'll be a couple of kids that'll want to take up the mantle of the mighty Nathan Smith.
Hmm, probably not but one can always dream, right?
I walk quitely to my house with them not even hearing my back door open and close in a few seconds.
"I'm home!" I yell as I put my backpack on a chair in the living room and take off my shoes to then put them on a mat in front of the exit door.
"Nate, what I'd tell you about sneaking the back door?" A woman in her fifties asks, glaring at me while I scratch the back of my head.
"Don't do it unless it's necessary...?" I ask, ending it in a high-pitched voice.
"Don't do it PERIOD!" My mom replies back.
"Sorry."
"It's always sorry with you. Why can't you be more like your cousin Lily?"
"You mean the borderline sociopath that enjoys extorting other people's money because her dad's the mayor of the city she resides in?"
"Control your tongue young man! She's still family around here."
"I don't see you denying what I just said."
"Just go to your room. You still have your trip to Seoul tomorrow. Hopefully, your aunt will be able to change your perpesctive about some things in life."
With those words said, I decide to listen to her and go to my room but that small frustration turns into happiness once my eyes land on the calendar.
It's almost time for me to leave this shitty country and go live in Seoul for about a year though the downside about this is I have to go live with my sociopathic cousin and my smothering and overprotective aunt, who keeps treating like I'm 5 despite the fact that I'm now 19 and is considered an adult almost everywhere in the world.
I turn on my laptop and go search some videos of Ben10 to kill time since as of tomorrow I'll be on summer break so I can do whatever I want until it's time for my trip to Seoul.
'I wish half of these things were real. From the evil alien warlord to the watch. I wish I could be a hero, just like Ben. He makes it seem so easy. I wish... to become a hero. Just like him.' I thought sadly before turning off my laptop before mood soured even more than it already was.
I lay on my bed and soon enough, I fall asleep.
-Next day-
"You sure you have everything?" My mom asks.
"Yes ma'am. I tripled checked everything this morning." I reply easily.
"Alright then. Have a safe trip."
"Thanks. See you later." I say while running to my plane with a smile on my face.
Once I'm there, I put my luggage on top of my seat then sit down and play some music since this is an 18 hour flight from Canada to South Korea, meaning I can get some extra sleep.
I let my eyes yet again and fall asleep, entering the realm of dreams.
-Timeskip-
"Attention. We have finally arrived in Seoul. Please take your luggage and enjoy your stay."
I jolt myself awake and grab all of the luggage I brought and exit the plane with the objective of finding my aunt's car since she's the one that's supposed to get me to her house.
So colour me surprised when I find my sociopathic cousin at the wheel of my aunt's Chevrolet with a smug smile on her face.
"What are you waiting for? Get in!"
"I'm gonna die, aren't I?" I mumble to myself that question as I get into the passenger's seat with my luggage in the trunk of the car.
The drive to my aunt's house was mostly quiet since I had my earphones on and didn't try to talk to her 'cause I mean, why would I?
She and I have nothing on common apart from the fact that we're related.
Still, I think this is why I'm here.
To make amends with her and maybe learn a few things from her 'cause my mom did always want a daughter and was unlucky enough to have me.
Her words, not mine.
We step out of the car as my aunt comes to greet me.
"Nate! I haven't seen you since forever." She says while giving me a hug.
"Two years but I guess you're right." I say, not really up to return the hug 'cause I am way too tired to care about anything else.
I take all of my luggage then put it into an extra room that was made just for me but hold onto my back pack as I want to explore the city a bit before it gets dark.
Besides, I slept long enough so I should be fine for a couple of hours.
"I'm going out. See ya!" I shout while stepping out of my new home in search of adventures.
According to my GPS, there's a couple of forests that I can explore without hindered by couples, which are the bane of my existence the moment I turned into a teenager since well, they act so loving in public but I'm willing to bet my entire piggy bank that one of them abuses the other behind closed doors.
That's what I hate the most, fake people or as the general populace calls them, hypocrites.
"Welp, this is gonna be a fine hangout place for me. At least, until I get back to Canada." I say while exploring but also stopping to take a look some of the trees as they are somewhat different to those of my home country.
I lay on a mini mountain and stare at the clouds, content of the atmosphere that this place has to offer.
"Maybe this won't be so bad after all. I just wish I could some form of excitement in my life." I say to myself as I close my eyes for a bit, enjoying the chrip of crickets and the small cold wind of the forest.
It's a good thing I came here on a chill day 'cause anything else than this exact weather right here and I would've stayed in Canada, regardless of what my mom would've done to punish me.
Dad really should've not married a South Korean who came abroad to study, that's what my grandparents on my fsther's side told me when I turned 15, under the protest of my mom wanting to kick him for the simple reason of them not liking each as much they do the common person, which is my dad.
He chose to do exactly what his parents told him not to do and now, here I am nineteen years later, trying to figure out what to do with my own life.
WHOOSH*
"Da fuck?! What is making so much noise at this hour?" I stand up while looking at the sky and see a shooting star so I clasp my hands together and make simple wish: To have an Omnitrix and become a hero.
"That's weird, the star should've left a few seconds ago but it's excatly where I left it when making my wish. Maybe it's an alien spaceship with Xenomorphs in it and they're here to enslave us!" I say, ending the last part in a shout as I begin panicking by pacing myself around the tree I've sleeping next to for a couple of minutes.
The shooting star starts heading towards the direction of the forest I'm in, which is weird because shooting stars don't do that and they only show up every 70 years.
"Forget the forest. It's like heading... towards me! AHAAAAA!" I scream in a high-pitched voice while doing my best to not look behind me as I run away from the small's line of sight but oddly enough, it's almost like it's chasing me.
"What does thing want with me?!" I shout as the star hits me full force so I fall roll over a few seconds, my back is in pain as I struggle but eventually manage to stand up.
I immidiately fall to my knees and muster both courage and the strength to crawl over to the small crater that shooting star made.
"This is so... weird. It's exactly turning out exactly like how Ben first found the Omnitrix in the original series." I say as I then fall into the small pit of dirt and find myself staring at a strange but familiar
alien pod.
This is it.
"Here goes nothing. Kinda odd how I'm the only here. Oh well, might as well think of it as nothing." I mutter to myself the pod opens by itself, revealing a glowing-green device that looks almost like a watch that looks like the recalibrated Omnitrix from Ben10.
The watch latches itself onto my left wrist in an instant but instead of screaming in fear, I scream in joy at having my prayers answered.
"Yeesssss! Hello superpowers and goodbye mediocrity! This is the best day of my life!" I continue on with my little celebration, even doing a little dance near the end before calming myself down since I don't want to attract any more attention than I already have.
I put the alien pod into my backpack and put it over my should as I begin my trek back to my new house.
Though I stop myself for a moment.
What proof did I have that this was the Omnitrix, the legendary device that Azmuth created in hopes that aliens could be understood and one of the most powerful devices in all of the universe?
I can't lie, I'm tempted to use the watch for fun but this isn't how Ben used it so it's not how I'm gonna use it.
I press two fingers on the small metal parts of the Omnitrix and watch as a small hologram of a Pyronite appears before me.
I find the holograms of a Vaxasaurian, Kineceleran, Sonorosian, Orishan, Aerophibian, Cerebrocrustacean, Polar Manzardill, Florauna and Arachnichimp.
"I should probably choose one but I can't. They're all so amazing so doing this would feel like I'm playing favoritism." I say while staring at the hologram of the of the Orishan for a few seconds before deciding who should be my first transformation.
'It's gonna be him. Alright Omnitrix, don't let me down.' I thought as I gently push the faceplate back down and in an instant, I find myself possesing the same body as Water Hazard did with the knowledge of how to ise his powers.
Staring at my reflection via the water I just summoned, I try to figure out a good name for this alien form.
"Tsunami, no, that's too bland. Hmm... Poseidon, not it either." I mutter while pacing around nut the more I think about this, the angrier I get so I punch the air, which creates a small tidal wave at the shore since I'm near it.
"Wait.. Tidal Wave, that's it! That's gonna be my name! Cooool." I shout in happiness before slamming my hand on my chest, turning me back into a human with my backpack exactly where it was before.
I walk back to my house with a smile threatning to split my face in half as I'm still giddy from the fact that I transformed into one of my favourites aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy.
I step inside of my house, expecting either my aunt or my cousin to be there I find myself alone in the house so that means they went out to do their own thing.
Good for me then since I'll be able to take yet again, a well deserved map after what happened in the last hour.
I go lay on my bed while staring at my brand new watch, still buzzing from my very first transformation with a small sense of dread filling my mind.
What if someone saw me transform when I wasn't looking?
"It's not impossible but I'll go check out the crash site tomorrow." I mutter as I feel my eyes go heavy so after a few seconds, I fall asleep with my habd resting on my chest as I enter the realm of dreams.
