Chapter 1: "Show Them Your Power Kid!"(Part 1)

Bardock, a low class Saiyan warrior, was heading back to his home planet, 'Planet Vegeta', after his failed mission on planet Kanassa; renamed 'Freiza Planet: 419', as he was the last survivor of his entire platoon, each killed by one of Freiza's right hand man's, Dodoria.

They were caught off guard and even though Bardock was able to fend off most of the soldiers Dodoria brought with him, Dodoria himself was someone Bardock couldn't defeat, so Dodoria was able to beat him to near death, believing he has killed him, leaving him to rot on the Planet.

Bardock, after he recovered enough to move, crawled across the ground, as he summoned his space pod so that he can return home and fully heal. He was only minutes away from landing on Planet Vegeta, where he plans to have both him and Gine send his youngest son away to a remote planet for his own safety and to rally as many Saiyans against Freiza, he had a vision of Frieza blowing up the planet. This ability was given to him by one of the Kanassans as a curse.

Bardock gritted his teeth, getting another vision of him and his wife sending their youngest son off word to a planet called 'Earth', where he sees an old man who's face is unintelligible to him, adopting him. At least he can feel relieved that Kakarot will have someone looking after him.

After failing to recruite any Saiyans to his rebellion, he was thankful that he could send his youngest son to somewhere safe. Now he was flying through the atmosphere, still injured from his fig... I-I mean beat down from Dodoria, he was still willing to fight against Frieza, the most powerful being in the universe. As he reached the upper atmosphere of the planet, he saw Freiza's ship hovering over the planet, with hundreds of thousands of Freiza Soldiers flying around the ship. When Bardock was in sight, all the soldiers rushed towards him, believing their numbers would easily kill this worthless monkey.

Unfortunately, they massively underestimated Bardock's willpower and skills as with great speed and power, Bardock was able to mow down dozens of Freiza soldiers without any effort, before any of them could land a hit on him. Soon they were able to overwhelm Bardock by literally pilling on top of him from all directions, but with a battle cry and a surge of energy from his body, he threw every single soldier on and near him away, either killing or incapacitating them.

"Die, Saiyan!" One soldier cried out, as he aimed his blaster at Bardock, shooting a small blast of energy, but Bardock easily swatted the attacked with his hand and landing a hard sucker punch to the soldier's gut, breaking through his armour and killing him.

Soon, Freiza appeared from his ship, sitting in his iconic hover chair, as he watched Bardock kill his men without mercy. From inside the ship, both Dodoria and Zarbon, as well as the entire Ginyu Force, watched the event play out. Soon all the soldiers, including Bardock, stopped fighting as they noticed Frieza was no longer in his ship. Most of the soldiers were confused or afraid as they chose not to move, as their emporer could easily kill any of them with just a look. Bardock however was smiling, as this was the first time he actually saw Freiza for the very first time, never expecting the ruler of the universe to be so short and ugly.

"Freiza! You finally decided to show your ugly mug?!" Bardock yelled, as his grin shows off his fangs.

"Ohohohohoh, well I got to say monkey, you gave me quite the show! Maybe if you were a good little monkey, you could've stayed on that pitiful planet and went into hiding, but instead you decided to rebel against me. What a foolish mistake." Frieza mocked, as he expected some form of anger from Bardock, but all he got was smiling and laughter.

"Oh please. Like I allow myself to fall further down into the hole your stupid men put me in! Saiyans are a prideful race, and my pride will allow me to kill you and free the universe from your tyranny!" Bardock yelled, as he held out his hand and formed a blue ball of energy.

Freiza's evil smile then turned into a frown, as he stared at Bardock's attack. He then lifted up his index finger up to create a tiny red spheare that slightly hovered above his finger. Bardock then yelled to Freiza,

"This is the day you will die! FINAL SPIRIT CANNON!!!" He yelled as he thrusted his attack forwards, as the ball traveled towards Frieza's location.

The tyrant then began cackling, as the once tiny ball; no bigger than a pin head, grew rapidly in size, as it reached to the size that it could be mistaken for a small sun, absorbing Bardock's attack like it was nothing, shocking the Saiyan. Frieza held his manic laughter as he flicked his finger forwards, launching his attack towards not just Bardock and his own men, but Planet Vegeta. Everyone began to panic as Bardock could only watch as the attack move closer to him. Then his instincts kicked in again, as his body rather have him die fighting than die like a coward. He held his arms forwards to let the small sun clash against them. Unfortunately the attack was too powerful and was extremely hot that the attack swallowed Bardock whole, as he could feel his life stripping away from his body.

Before his life ended, he got another vision, one of his son facing against Freiza on an unknown planet. Bardock smiled, knowing his son will avenge the Saiyan race. But unexpectedly, another vision popped up, where he could see a small boy, with highly toned muscles and green hair, screaming on top of a mountain of trash with him at the foot of it, smiling. He didn't know what he was seeing, or how he was there, as he believed this was the end for him. Before he could ponder more about this new vision, his eyed closed and the rest of his senses cease their functions as he fell unconscious, believing he met his end

Bardock felt a sharp pain across his whole body, as the pain dragged him out of his sleep, as he grabbed the back of his neck from the pain. Then suddenly, all the pain went away, or at least most of it. At first he believed he was dead, but when he looked around him, he saw he was covered in bandeges and was wearing some weird clothing unknown to him. He was also laying in a bed of some kind, where he was conncted to various machines that were scattered around the bed. He observed his surroundings more and saw nothing but a blue curtain surrounding him.

("What the hell? Where am I? Why am I here? Aren't I supposed to be dead?") Bardock questioned, as he ripped all the wires off of his body, struggling to get off the bed.

As soon as he ripped the machines off of him, the curtain flew open and before he could see who opened the curtains, something hit hard onto his head, causing more pain to the area as he grabbed onto it from the pain.

"Hey! What the hell was that for!" Bardock yelled, as he saw the person who assaulted him.

She was a small, old lady wearing a doctor's uniform with a pair of goggles with her grey hair tied in a bun.

"Have some manners towards your elders boy! It's rude to yell y'know." The old lady yelled, chastising Bardock.

"Well it is also rude to hit someone over the head! Why did you even do that?!" Bardock question, not caring who this woman was, only wanting to know why she hit him.

"Because you aren't fully healed yet. So please, lay back down so your body can heal on its own, before you collapse." She said, speaking in a more calmer voice.

"Tch, I'm fine. I don't need to sit down and wait." Bardock said, as he got up from the bed, but then felt all the pain in his body hit him all at once when he allowed his weight to fall off the bed, falling straight to the ground.

"I warned ya." The old lady said, as she saw Bardock pull himself up from the floor.

"Shut it you old hag! I don't need your pity." Bardock grumbled, getting another whack on the head from the lady's cane.

"AH!!! How can my body heal if you keep hitting me?!" Bardock barked, already pissed off by this old lady.

"That was for being rude. You need to learn some manners." She said, helping Bardock back onto to his bed.

Silenced washed over them as Bardock asked the lady where he was. She said he was at an UA's infirmary. Telling him that he was found by DogHound, unconscious in the forest around UA, barely clinging to life, so the heroes decided to bring him here for emergency surgery. Bardock croaked a brow,

"Why would you help me? You could have just left me to die." Bardock said, not understanding why he was saved by them, even though he has no idea what UA was.

"Don't say those things boy! We here at UA always teach our students the value of life. Either it be a heroe's or villain's, everyone has a chance at life." She said, whacking him again.

"What do you mean 'hero's' and 'villain's'?" Bardock asked, not understanding what she said.

"Hmm, seems you may have some brain trauma or something. But to give you the gist, heroes are people who protect others and keep people safe, while villains are the opposite, wanting to hurt and put people in danger." She said, as she explained the short answer to his question.

(" Well congratulations lady, you probably helped the biggest 'villain' this planet could have.") Bardock thought, knowing he could easily be seen as a villain if his past was shown to the public.

"Oh, where are my manners. Would you mind giving me your name. You can call me recovery girl." She said, giving Bardock a warm smile, reminding him of the smile his wife Gine gave.

"It's Bardock. Why?" He asked.

"I wanted to know your name, as it will allow me to address you properly." She said.

"Now, mister Bardock. Why don't you let your body rest so that I can help heal it up myself." She said, perking Bardock's curiosity again.

"Hold on, heal it up yourself? What do you mean?" Bardock asked, wondering why she used those words.

"Well, you see Bardock. My quirk is called 'Heal', and I can heal anyone's injuries no matter how small or large they are. A downside to this power is that it takes ups the target's stamina, so that is why I want you to rest for a bit, so that you can recover your stamina and I can heal your wounds faster." Recovery Girl explained, seeing the puzzled look on Bardock's face.

"What's with that look?" She said, whacking her cane over his head again.

"Ah! Would you stop that! It's starting to piss me off!" Bardock growled, rubbing his head.

"I'll do it as much as I want. Now, what was that face for?" She asked, as Bardock opened his mouth to speak.

"I never heard of an ability such as yours, or know what a quirk is. What even is a quirk? Is that some sort of food?" Bardock asked, as it was then Recovery's Girls turn to look puzzled.

("What the, how does he not know what a quirk is. First the heroes and villains and now quirks. Either he is very stupid, experience some serious brain trauma or he came from a secluded part of the world?") Recovery Girl thought, as she then picked the words to answer Bardock's question.

"Well Bardock, you are wrong. Quirks, in their most simplest form are special abilities a person can have. Usually these abilities are unique to the wielder, but many can have similar or even the exact same quirks, from inheriting them from their parents or two quirks showing up with similar functions." Recovery Girl explained, as she could tell Bardock was closely listening in.

"Well that's something. I never heard of a whole species each having abilities unique to themselves. If trained right they could rival us Saiyans in potential power..." Bardock began trailing off, which reminded Recovery Girl of a certain pro hero she knows and cares for.

She then whacked her cane over his head, a little lighter this time, to break Bardock out of his mumbling.

"Ow, hey! what was that one for?!" Bardock yelled, confused on why he was hit with the cane this time.

"You were mumbling and I needed to break you out before you became too anoying to listen to." She said.

"Now why don't you rest. The longer you rest, the quicker you'll be walking out of this place." She said, as Bardock obliged and rested on the hospital bed, his arms folded behind his head.

"Could you get me something to eat, I'm feeling a but famished." Bardock demanded, when he got another whack on the head.

"Where are your manners?! What do you say when you ask someone about something?!" Recovery Girl barked, as Bardock rubbed his head once more.

"What the hell are you talking abo..." Bardock was cut off by another whack.

"Say it! Say the magic words!" She demanded, wanting to drill proper manners into the Saiyan.

"Alright alright, just don't hit me with that stupid cane of yours! Could you bring me something to eat... please." Bardock asked, a little embarrassed he had to use that word, as he rarely used it.

"That's better. I'll have LunchRush bring you something to eat. Hope you aren't too picky because you'll be eating whatever you are given." She said, walking away to the door as she twirled her cane in the air, insinuating she'll beat him more if he won't eat his food.

("Good thing for me, Saiyans aren't picky when it comes to food.") He thought, as he rested his head again on his pillow.

His thoughts trailed off about what has just happened, but also wondering how he ended up on this planet. His fight with Freiza was definitely real, but it also felt fake at the same time. How can he be alive if he was hit directly with Frieza's attack. How did he survive, he was thankful for it, but for now, he would have to wait till he recovered.

[Days Later]

It has been a few days since Bardock has fully recovered and was able to leave UA's infirmary. Over those few days he was recovering, he met a few of the staff at UA, including LunchRush, Midnight, Cermemtoss, Nezu and Aizawa. Out of all of them, Lunch Rush and Aizawa were his favorites, as LunchRush always brought him food and Aizawa for his serious and calm demeanor.

While he was there, he was also asked many questions, like where did he come from, what was his quirk, and he answered them without care, not really minding telling them who he really is. When he did tell them he was a alien from another planet, he told them about the Saiyans, but left out the information about Saiyans being world conquering brutes, as he thought it was best to stay on the good side of the people who were taking care of him.

Now he was flying over the city of Musutafu, taking in the fresh air of the planet. When he thought about it, he could easily take over this whole world if he wanted too, but seeing how Freiza was no longer a presence in his life, he would rather stay here till he either makes a ship to leave forever, or stay here permanently.

("A planet filled with unique abilities. I wonder how strong the strongest hero is?") Bardock wondered, as when he was at UA, he was taught the nessasary information about this world and learning of All-Might and various other number one heroes across the world.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!" Bardock heard a scream not that far away.

He looked towards the direction and saw a large man leaping through the air, with a child wrapped around his leg, looking to be in his early teen years.

("What in the actual hell?") Bardock thought, as he wasn't expecting this to happen today.

Bardock knew it wasn't any of his business, but he did recognised the large man as All-Might, with his large muscles, his blonde hair and his heroric smile. Bardock decided to follow them, staying of of sight till they both landed on top of a rooftop.

Bardock landed behind a wall to stay hidden and listened in on the conversation.

("Wait, it the kid from my visions! Is this how we meet. But this can't be the same boy. I mean, look at him. He's scrawny and cowardly. Maybe that pile of trash has something to do with it?") Bardock thought, recognising the boy from his visions as he eavesdropping on the pair's conversation.

Listening in, he learned was that All-Might was severely weakened due to an injury he has sustained, learning the boy was quirkless, yet still wanted to be a hero, but was brought down by All-Might, believe he couldn't become a hero, telling the boy he should become a police officer, as it is is a more realistic goal to save people.

All-Might left the scene, leaving the boy was left alone, saddened by the reality of his situation. Bardock's rage was boiling, as the stories he was told from the UA teachers talked about All-Might being an honest, kind and selfless man. But seeing him now, he was a man blinded by his own power. Blinded to the prospect that anyone can become strong if given the time to improve and train. He was a great example, as even though he was classified as a lower class saiyan, his power reach far beyond most elite Saiyans.

"Hey kid!" Bardock yelled, getting the boy's attention.

The kid looked towards his right to see Bardock, resting against the wall he hid behind, a little scared.

"W-who are you?" The boy asked, not knowing if this man was another villain wanting to hurt him.

"The name's Bardock. Mind telling me yours?" Bardock asked, wanting to get introductions out of the way first.

"My name? Uh, well my name is Izuku Midoriya. I-It is nice to meet you Mr. Bardock." The boy, named Izuku, said.

"Yeah, whatever kid. I heard your little conversation with the number one hero and I wanted you to know that everything he just said was absolute bull shit." Bardock said, catching Izuku off guard with his insult to All-Might.

Izuku became flustered, as he listed off many reasons why Bardock shouldn't insult someone so great and so powerful. Bardock could barely hear what the kid was saying, so he slapped Izuku out of his mumbling.

"Ow! Hey, what was that for?" Izuku asked, holding his cheek from Bardock's slap.

"Listen kid, everything he said about you not being able to become a hero is a load of bull shit!" Bardock said, shocking Izuku further.

"Being a hero is having the courage and willpower to fight against people, to protect those you love. Either it be your family, friends or your home. If you want to be a hero, you should forget the words others say about you and prove to them how wrong they are by becoming one!" Bardock finished speaking, seeing a stream of tears starting to fall from Izuku eye holes.

Bardock was about to stop the kid from balling, but Izuku was too quick for him, as his stream of tears fell out of his eyes like a waterfall. Izuku then kneeled to the ground and bowed his head up and down.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! THANK YOU SIR!!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME-EEEE-EE-EEEE!!!" Izuku cried, causing Bardock to fluster.

"Woah, woah, kid! Calm down, what the hell is wrong with you?" Bardock shook to Izuku, taking him out of his crying fit.

"Jeez kid, you have some serious emotional problems." Bardock said, but Izuku wasn't bothered by what he said, as he lowered his head down, pushing his index fingers together.

"Is it true? Do you believe I can become a hero?" He asked, wanting to know if he wasn't dreaming, as the day he had certainly didn't feel real.

"Don't get me wrong kid. Whatever you do with your life is your own business. But what I don't tolerate are those on the top bringing those at the very bottom even further down." Bardock said, with Izuku listening in on every word he said.

"I was in the same position as you are. I was deemed a low class warrior by my people because of my strength at birth, but with enough training and constantly improving my battling skills, I became one of the strongest warriors of my people. So what I'm telling you is to spite those who bring you down and become the person you want to become, no matter how hard things may be." Bardock explained, with Izuku tearing up a little more, but not becoming a waterfall this time.

"B-but how am I supposed to be stronger." Izuku asked, not knowing where to start.

"If you aren't sure of where to start, I can help push you in the right direction." Bardock said.

"Wait, really? You'll help me become a hero?" Izuku asked, not knowing why a stranger would help him.

Bardock could agree, the kid was weak and pathetic, with an almost unreachable goal. But with enough training and a plentiful amount of juices, he can make his way up the pedestal to reach and even go beyond that number one hero.

"Of course, but promise me that you will take your training seriously. Okay?" Bardock said, kneeling down to Izuku to meet him at eye level.

Izuku was berweilded. Even tough All-Might believed he couldn't become a hero, this stranger believed he could and even help him achieve his dreams of being a hero. All he could do was cry on the spot, finally relieved that someone has finally given him the reconistion he wanted.

Then a loud explosion caught both of their attentions, as they looked towards the distance and saw a large cloud of black smoke rise from the city below.

"Hmm, seems like something is happening over there. Wanna check it out?" Bardock said, asking Izuku if he wants to see what was happening.

Izuku's eyes gleamed, as he shot up onto his feet, as he shouted that he is ready for anything, with his notebook and pen in hand.

("Where the hell did he pull them from?") Bardock question, realising the notebook and pen coming out of thin air.

"Alrighty then, hop onto my back and I can fly us their." Bardock said, hunching his back over to let Izuku jump on him.

"Wait, fly? Do you have some kind of flying quirk?" Izuku asked, already creating a page for Bardock in his notebook.

"Stop that! It's creepy!" Bardock yelled, already seeing a flaw in Izuku.

"We'll talk about my 'quirk' later. Just jump on my back and we can see what the commotion is about." Bardock said, avoiding Izuku's question as he jumped onto his back.

When Izuku jumped onto his back, he was expecting Bardock to grow a pair of wings or some a type of flouting, but was shocked when Bardock began surrounding himself with a white aura as he took off from rooftop at tremendous speed. He was even going faster than All-Might when he was attached to his leg.

"Doing okay back there?!" Bardock asked, as he could see the terror in Izuku's body, as he held his head deep into his back.

"Y-y-yeah! J-just not used to flying, that's all!" Izuku said, as his grip onto Bardock's armour tightened.
