'GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR!' Harry heard everyone cheering. It was the first time playing since Umbridge had banned student organization without her permission. Gryffindor was playing against Slytherin. 'AND HERE GOES THE BLUDGER TOWARDS SLYTHERIN BEATER, GREGORY GOYLE!' shouted Lee Jordan. Marcus Flint grabbed the bat from Greogory Goyle's hand and hit in hard towards Harry. No one seemed to notice this.
Harry was thinking about his Godfather who had been cleared of all charges on the weekend. How delighted he was and Lianna was even more happy, Liana was Sirius 's daughter. She was just 6 and he was closed to her than anyone. And suddenly the Bludger came towards Harry from him and it hit him on the back. He fell off his broom and fell on the the ground from around 150 feet high. Ron, who was playing as Keeper, went striding down.
"HARRY!" Harry heard Ron and Hermione say before he blacked out. People on the field who came down from the stands including McGonagall, Dumbeldore and a few other professors gathered around Harry. Madam Pomfrey came in running, 'He needs St. Mungo's Hospital, right now!' Harry was taken to the Hospital. He went into surgery.
It had now been three hours and everyone was worried that's when the Healer came out.
'We tried everything we could. His T5, T6, T111 vertebrae was somewhat broken his neck's been mildly damaged. He might be paralysed from chest down. A ventilator is helping him to breathing. The T5 was not full damaged, but the others were clean breaks, there is a quite good chance of him regaining some function of his core but I'm afraid that the T6 and T11 were complete injuries so there is less than 2% chance of him recovering from the abdomen down," the Healer said sadly. 'Dad! Is Harry going t-to be okay?' Lianna asked, sobbing. 'I know he will be okay, Li.' Sirius said to Lianna hoping this was true. Sirius, Lianna, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George and Molly went in.
Harry saw everyone come in but he didn't know what to say, was he happy that he was alive or sad that he wasn't well. He had a neck brace on and a padded plastic cast over his back. The tube which helped him breathe was not very thin or thick. Harry didn't yet know that he was paralyzed but he had a hunch.
He wished he could speak and he could. 'How are you, Harry?' Sirius asked. Harry replied, 'I dunno. Can't feel much.' Sirius told him what the Healer said.'I'm sorry, Harry but that's the truth.' Lianna spoke, 'Does it hurt?' Harry replied, 'Not really, no. Just can't feel it. C'mere.' Harry patted on the side of his bed. 'I-I don't want to hurt you.' Lianna replied frightfully. Harry turned to Sirius and he whispered, 'Sirius, can I and Lianna have some space?' Sirius agreed and they all went outside.
Lianna reluctantly sat beside Harry. He found the button and moved his bed so that he sit a little more upright. 'Y-you c-can't feel anything Harry? N-not even m-my hu-hugs?' Lianna asked crying. Harry replied to her, 'I can't feel your hugs physically but I can feel them emotionally, in my heart.' Lianna hugged her (god) brother sadly.
'Could you tell everyone to come?' Harry asked. 'Sure...' replied Lianna. She went outside and called everyone. Ron sat on a chair near his bed and whispered, 'What about DA?' Harrry answered, 'We'll talk later.' They all talked until the Healer came in, 'Well, visiting time is over. One person can stay. ' he said. 'I'll stay' volunteered
Sirius. 'Okay' replied the Healer
A while later Harry is asleep and Dumbledore comes in and whispers, 'A quick word, Sirius?' Sirius reluctantly replied, 'Coming, two minutes.' He stroked Harry's hair and went outside.
Dumbledore spoke, 'Sirius,' Sirius interrupted, 'Look, Albus, I don't want you to put up any more challenges for Harry, first, the Triwizard then the Hearing, Umbridge and it was fine but now this is unacceptable!' Dumbledore continued, 'I had no choice but to let Umbridge in, my own reasons you see. And well I am here to tell you that I have been thinking and researching, I found out a Potion that can help him and spell too. It can't fully recover him but will surely help.' Sirius said half-heartedly, 'We'll try it but I don't want to get Harry's hopes up.' Dumbledore gave a smile, 'Severus will soon brew the Potion. Take care, Sirius.' Dumbledore walked away.
'Sirius' Sirius heard someone calling him from far away. 'Padfoot' he heard it again, he somehow knew it was Harry. He went inside the ward. 'Are you okay Prongslet? You are improving impressively.' Sirius told Harry. 'Snape's going to bring a Potion, It might help, says Dumbledore.' There was a long silence. ' Sirius, could you move the bed a little higher?'Harry asked.
Two days later, Ron and Hermione haven't visited since day 1. Dumbledore comes into the ward and hands over the Potion to Sirius, 'Will work soon enough.' Sirius told Harry, 'This was the Potion I was talking about.' He slowly lifted Harry's head a little and helped him drink it.
The door creaked a little and opened, Ron and Hermione had come to meet Harry. 'Hey mate.' Ron said tiredly but cheerfully, 'Sorry, we couldn't come, Umbridge you see.' Hermione had a worried look over her face, 'Umbridge's been asking for you as though she doesn't know what happened to you. I told her you were at St.Mungos but she would say I was lying.' Harry was not surprised, 'I knew it. She would do that, out of her minds. Well, it might have escaped her notice that I AM SITTING HERE, I CAN'T EVEN BREATHE ON MY OWN!' Sirius tried calming Harry, 'Harry, Harry, stay calm. It's alright.'
The Healer came in. 'It's time for Mr Potter's daily check up. Please wait outside.' Ron, Hermione and Sirius went outside. 'How are you Mr.Potter?' The Healer asked. Harry replied, 'Asking me the same question everyday when you know I'm paralyzed is that you are trying to tell that again and again!' The Healer does a few tests. 'We can probably remove the ventilator today!' the Healer said cheerfully. He went outside. Sirius asked hopefully, 'Any news?' The healer sighed and then smiled. 'He's getting better, we can remove the ventilator and start therapy soon. He'll be good to go in 3 to 4 days.'
