It is pitch black, everything looks dark and cruel but soon a ray of light shines upon the body of a young teenage boy who is naked to the day he is born. The young teenager is Ash Blake, and right now. He's about to receive a great gift from a world that is beyond understanding.

Ash float in the darkness that has light shining upon his body. The young teenager is unconscious in a sleep like state before he was surrounded by 6 large giant shadowed beings, each one looking down upon the unconscious teenager with glowing eyes.

"Ash Blake, huh?" a bellowing voice spoke from one of the 6 large giant shadowed beings. "a peculiar name for a human teenager."

"this boy is supposed to be our partner?" another bellowing voice asked the first one.

"this human is merely a child! I do not see why Mother would choose him as our benefactor!" another voice shouted out before powerful gust of air escapes a pair of large nostrils.

"her decision has always set fate to the world" another voice stated, this one sounding a bit calm then the last one. "we shall see how this boy grows over time."

"till that time comes, we shall stay dormant as agreed with Mother." "agreed" two more voices stated as the six shadowed beings who shines in six colors of red, green, blue, orange, white, and black. The six beings soon disappeared into small balls of light before flying straight into Ash's left arm and entered his hand that soon left a tattoo of swirling flames from his hand up to his shoulder.

Ash floats in the darkness before he sinks and disappeared.

Within a world there is a city named Lautreamont, Knight Country. More commonly known as the Country that raises Dragons. The area is known to train Knights who will become Dragon Maestro.

We turn our attention to a large building which is a school called Ansarivan Dragon Riding Academy.

Within the many room of the school's dorm, we find Ash Blake waking up from his sleep.

"man….." Ash yawned while stretching his hands up and then scratches his back. "talk about a weird dream.."

Before long Ash got out of bed and looks out the window to see many dragons flying in the air or walking upon the land.

"oh right….it's the Day of the Festival" Ash said before smiling.

In the Ansarivan Dragon Riding Academy, the students learn to be Breeders for their Dragons. The student's body will receive a Dragon mark and their dragon will be born from within and become their Partner or Pal.

Ash looks envious to the students with their dragons outside as he is the only student of the academy that has no dragon.

"I wonder how long will you appear?" Ash asked while looking at the dragon mark on his left arm. "my Pal."

Before long several knocks came from the door and a young blonde male student named Raymond Kakuran, a best friend of Ash Blake.

"hey, Ash! Come on! You want to participate in the race, right?!" Raymond shouted out.

"I know! I know!" Ash replied as he grabs his student's uniform that is hanging by the chair and puts it on.

"man, I don't know if you had grown or what, but you're still damn late at all times" Raymond said to Ash as the two were heading out of the dorm and going to the school's building for class. "something made you overslept again?"

"just thinking about my Pal, that's all" Ash replied while frowning as he looks at his left arm before getting a few pats by Raymond.

"I told you before, right? You're a special case!" Raymond said in cheering up his best friend. "your pal will come! Just wait and be surprised when your Pal is an amazingly powerful dragon like Rebecca-senpai's Cuchulainn!"

"I wished that's the case" Ash said with a small smile for the cheer up before he sighs and looks back at his left hand. "it's been years ever since I got this mark when I was a kid."

"that's why you're a special case!" Raymond told Ash. "you can only get your mark when you're 14 above! But you got yours when you're only 7?! That's a very special case, Ash!"

"I know" Ash said before sighing again and then turns to look at the view outside by the nearby window. "I just wonder when will my Pal come, that's all."

The time goes by as Ash with Raymond did their school classes, the time was a normal activity for the two because they were more focused on the afternoon because it was the start of a special festival.

We turn our attention to the large field of the academy where there are many dragons with their students lined up for a race called Aries Dragon Riding Festival.

"I'll be in your care, Brigid" Ash said to a Dragon who is actually Raymond's pal. The young student borrowed the Dragon for the race.

"go for it, Ash! Brigid!" Raymond cheered to his friend and Pal from the crowd's stand where everyone else cheered.

Ash got on the Dragon's saddle and holds its reins with his glove protected hands then looks at a stage where the student council president, Rebecca Randal steps upon to let everyone see her.

"welcome to the Dragon Riding Festival, everyone!" Rebecca said with a smile. "I am happy to see many talented Dragon riders! And how honoured I feel to be a Dragon Rider like yourselves!"

Everyone cheered as Rebecca nodded to them all before she caught sight of Ash who she winked at.

Ash sighs a bit as the teenager is actually a problem child of the school, but in a good way because of how he is the only student who has no dragon which means he draws attention of the girls and the boys hate him, only a few respect him as he is.

"as you all may know, this is not just a sport's event! It's Ansarivan tradition! And I would like to give everyone a very special prize!" Rebecca said with a smile while placing a hand to her chest. "the winner of this race will be rewarded with a ticket for a date! And that date is none other than with me!"

This made the fans of Rebecca to go wild in cheers instantly as everyone who is a fan in the Dragon race are very revved up to win it.

"now then! It is time for us to start the race!" Rebecca said before her Dragon, Cuchulainn appears from a large magic circle above.

Ash holds the reins on Brigid tight as he has a reason to win the race and that wasn't to get a date ticket with Rebecca, but a revenge to a blonde student in the race with him.

"please help me win, Brigid" Ash said to the dragon who growls in return.

Ash smiled before he glanced at a nearby participant who is Silvia Lautreamont, the kingdom's 4th princess and someone who just made him angry a few days ago by stating that he was a foolish rider who doesn't have a Pal that is either dead or non existence.

'this time!' Ash thought with a firmed face as Silvia sensed his gaze at her and just scoffed while riding her Dragon, Lancelot.

"on your marks!" Rebecca exclaimed as she rides her dragon that hovers in the air. "get set!" Rebecca's Dragon, Cuchulainn growls before it roars while unleashing a flaming sphere to the air that exploded loudly. "GO!"

Everyone instantly rides their Dragon that either runs or flew on the racetrack as everyone keeps on going to the finish line.

"come on, Brigid!" Ash exclaimed as he rides his best friend's pal that runs past several other participant's Dragons.

In a forest, Ash gets off Brigid as the young man just made the Dragon run too fast to the point that it was exhausted.

"sorry for making you run so fast, Brigid" Ash said while bringing the Dragon to a nearby river stream. "just rest and gather your strength alright?"

Brigid growls in response before it started drinking the water to replenish its strength.

Ash smiled before he felt someone gazing at him from behind.

"who is there?!" Ash shouted as he turns around and sees no one, but the trees of the forest. Ash went and looked around before he shakes his head, thinking that he was being paranoid but that thinking was spot on when someone came and kicked him on the back. "gah!"

Ash got up before he was face to face with the blade of a sword hold by a masked white haired man.

"w-who are you?!" Ash said.

"who I am doesn't matter for a dead man." The masked man replied before a shadow came and kicks Ash on the stomach.

"gah!" Ash grunted in pain as a gasp of his air and some saliva escapes his mouth before he crashed to a tree.

"Milgaus-sama, please let me dispose of him" a young tanned girl wearing an outfit that is a bit like a Kunoichi stated to the masked man.

"please do" the masked man replied before turning to walk away while the kunoichi girl holds a whip that she swung its tail at Ash who grunted in pain.

"damnit!" Ash grunted before he kicks some sand and dirt at the young girl then runs away.

"there is no escape!" the young tanned girl stated before chasing after Ash who keeps on running before he reach the edge of a cliff.

"damnit! There's no other way off!" Ash said as he looks around before he turns and sees the girl coming at him.

"die!" she shouted before striking her whip multiple times at Ash who blocked with his forearms and wrist.

"like hell!" Ash said as he caught the whip with both hands and that action surprised the girl who was soon swung by the whip form the other end to the ground. "I'd die!"

"gah!" the girl gasped in pain and went unconscious as Ash grunted a few times before huffing his breathing.

"damnit!" Ash said before he went to the girl. "if I can get her identity."

Ash was about to unmask the girl when the cliff started to crack and break.

"shit!" Ash pushed the unconscious girl away from him before he fell off the cliff.

"aagggghh!" Ash screams as he fell right into the darkness abyss of the cliff's bottomless viewed pit.

Ash felt like he was floating as he opened his eyes and finds himself in darkness.

"w-where?" he muttered out with a confused face before he encountered six large, shadowed beings as they all gaze down at him.

"to think this boy risked his own life to save a total stranger, that is respectful in some way or another" one of the large beings spoke out.

"but if he's dead like this, he won't be so useful for us or mother" another shadowed being spoke. "what a pain"

"this is the second time he received death, there won't be a third time" one other being said with a gruff voice.

"the time is already ripe. it is time for us to appear and give him our powers as we promised to mother those centuries ago." one being whose body's outline glows crimson spoke out.

The other shadowed beings started to have a glowing aura surrounding the outline of their body.

Ash looks at them as they revealed their forms as large stone statues of many Dragons in many forms that are different from the first.

"who are you all?" Ash said before his sight was engulfed in a bright white light.

Ash let out a gasp as he opened his eyes and was face to face with the sight of Raymond's face staring down at him.

"hey, Ash! Wake up!" Raymond exclaimed to Ash as he shakes the young man's shoulders.

"R-Raymond? Why are you?" Ash said in a confused face.

"why, you say? You didn't know that you've been gone for the entire day? Everyone was looking for you!" Raymond told Ash as he looks around and notice that it was night-time. "come on, let's get back to the dorm."

"a-ah…y-yeah" Ash said with a slightly confused face before Raymond lends him a hand to get him to stand straight up. When the confused young man stood up, two items fell from inside his clothes.

"what are those?" Raymond said as he points down at Ash's feet.

Ash looks down and he spotted a red gauntlet looking like item and a small hexagonal case that has six grey balls inside.

"these are?" Ash said before he bends down and picks the two items up then observe them. "what are these things?"
