Cosmic Era of the year 71. The battle of Jachin Due has reached its climax as Genesis is about to go off in a self-destruct sequence.

To counter such a devastating destruction, Athrun Zala, the pilot of the Justice Gundam plans to detonate his mobile suit's nuclear reactor system to set off a chain explosion that could reduce the explosion's power.

However currently, there is the last battle between the war maniac; Rau Le Creuset and the Ultimate Coordinator; Kira Yamato. Both of their mobile suits; the Providence Gundam and the Freedom Gundam are in a battle of utter destruction.

"There is no such thing as peace in this world! There will always be conflict made by men's weapons!" Rau le Creuset shouted as his Gundam keeps on firing its Judicium beam rifle while its remaining DRAGOONS are flying around before unleashing beams at the Freedom that dodge each one, but few managed to hit its wings and right leg that gets destroyed. "You're one of them! The weapons of the humans that would lead to the destruction of the world! You're the result of this world's chaotic desires!"

"So, what!?" Kira exclaimed as his Gundam aims its beam rifle and repeatedly fires its beams at the Providence's DRAGOONS, destroying each one, but gets fired back by his foe's mobile suit that soon destroys the head and right arm of the Freedom. "This world! I will save it!" He pushes his thrusters into overdrive while his Gundam combines its beam sabers into a twin edged beam saber before thrusting it forward. "I will save everyone! I will save this world that I wish to protect!"

"You fool!" Rau screams as his Gundam continues to fire its beam rifle, intending to hit and kill Kira but each shot just miss.

"Raaaahh!" Kira screams as his Gundam thrusts its beam sabers forward and pierced through the Providence's cockpit and straight into Rau who merely accepted his fate with a smile.

In mere seconds, Genesis exploded as so did the Justice that went off with its nuclear explosion.

The explosion was wide and devastating as the Freedom Gundam quickly flew away from the Providence Gundam that got engulfed in the fire that turned it into scorch metal, however this mighty explosion spread and caught up to Kira's mobile suit itself.

The Ultimate Coordinator sees the fire spreading and his world turns white.

"Kira!"

What Kira last hears is the sound of Lacus calling out his name in the last moment of Genesis' destruction and soon nothing.

Upon a field that is covered in tall green grass, it is a peaceful and tranquil place as there is nothing but green everywhere.

In one area, there is Kira who lies in the grass while still wearing his pilot suit on. The Ultimate Coordinator looks to be unconscious as he didn't move no matter how much the grass danced around his body.

"u-ugh…" Kira grunts a bit in pain as he slowly opens his eyes and sees the grass around him. "This place is…where?" He glances up and sees the blue sky filled with white fluffy clouds. "Is this…earth? But how?" the young man tried getting up, but his body is in pain and couldn't even move a finger. "m-my body is…"

"h-hey! Are you okay there!?" a voice called out to Kira who looked at the blurry sight of someone coming to him. the young man couldn't tell who he was as his body was in pain and that is taxing his remaining strength. "Hey!"

"w-who are…" Kira muttered out before he falls unconscious and went back to his dreams.

Kira remains unconscious upon the grass field as a random black-haired stranger wearing farmer-like clothing came and began to call out to him while checking him to see if he was okay or not.

As time passes, Kira is now found asleep on a bed as he is wearing a plain white shirt and brown shorts along with his ring necklace, but he is covered under a thin brown blanket.

Kira lays asleep before he grunts a bit and slowly opens his eyes. His sight was blurry and, in a daze, before they slowly focused to see a brown wooden ceiling.

"W-Where…this is?" Kira muttered out in a parched voice as he winced a bit in pain before slowly sitting up on the bed after gathering his strength. "How did I?"

Kira placed a hand to his stomach as he finally noticed how he was wearing unfamiliar clothing. He looks and slowly lifts his shirt to see that he has bandages wrapped around his body. The young man then turns and looks around to see that he is in a room that is entirely made of wood and bricks, there is only the bed that he is sitting on along with a bedside table that has a glass jug filled with water and a few wooden cups.

"Just where am I?" Kira asks himself as he can't remember how he ended up in such a place.

As Kira ponders on where he is, the door to the room swings open and a maid came walking in with a metal basin filled with water and a towel.

The Maid came and noticed that Kira was up while looking at the maid with a confused and surprised face.

"a-a-ah!" The maid stuttered in surprise before she dropped the metal bin and quickly ran out of the room. "M-Master Balcus! Mistress Luce! He is awake! Master Balcus! Mistress Luce!"

Kira watches how the maid ran out in a hurry as he is beyond confused on what was going on.

"Just where am I?" Kira asks as he needs answers to comply with the questions in his mind.

Few minutes later, a man and a woman wearing simple villager like clothing came and sits upon chairs near the bed.

"Thank goodness that you're finally awake, lad." The man spoke with a smile while giving Kira a glass of water. "You really worried us after being asleep on the bed for almost an entire week!"

"y-yes." Kira spoke with a small nod as he looked very confused while looking around before he focused on the two people with him. "Um…I'm sorry, but who are you people?"

"Oh, silly me! I forgot to introduce myself!" Balcus replied with a sheepish smile as he rubs the back of his head. The man soon coughs into a fist before placing a hand to his chest. "My name is Balcus Fou Bartfort." He then motions the hand to the woman beside him. "And she's my wife, Luce Fou Bartfort."

"Pleasure to meet you." Luce spoke with a polite head bow to Kira who nodded back.

"What might your name be, lad?" Balcus asks Kira.

"I'm Kira, Kira Yamato." Kira introduces himself as he sits up straight on his bed while holding down his glass of water that he had taken a few sips from. "Just call me Kira, Balcus-san. Luce-san." He then glances to the window nearby before back to the couple beside him. "Can I ask you two a question?"

"What is it?" Balcus replied.

"This place, this home of yours. Is it located at the remains of Orb's territory?" Kira asks as he refers to the neutral nation of earth. "Or perhaps this home is part of the Earth Alliance Forces' territory?"

"Orb? Earth Alliance Forces? What is that?" Balcus asks all confused. "we're at my clan's floating island."

"Floating…island?" Kira spoke as he is more confused than Balcus himself.

A few seconds later, Balcus explains that Kira was found at the grass field of his island's territory which is part of the Holfort Kingdom. He was injured and unconscious then was taken to his home to get treatment and he remained asleep for a week before he ended up awake and is now talking to the husband and wife.

"This is completely a different world…" Kira whispers as he becomes very confused to the point that his mind can't understand on how he came to arrive to such a place when he remembered that he was in space and was fighting Rau Le Creuset while trying to stop Genesis from going off.

"Kira, just where are you from?" Balcus asks Kira who looks at the man. "When we found you, we could tell that you were not from around our place nor from the Holfort Kingdom because of your previously worn weird clothing. Just where were you from and how you even end up at the grass field that day?"

Kira looks at Balcus and Luce for a moment before he looks down and frowns.

"I'm sorry that this might sound weird but I'm from the place called the Earth Force Alliance and I'm a Coordinator." Kira spoke as he begins telling the couple about his life as a young man who is forced to join a war between two opposing forces. He was on a mission to stop the war from escalating and he did his best to prevent the deaths of millions. "The last thing I remembered was killing my foe's Gundam from ZAFT and then…" he then looks at Balcus and Luce. "I am here."

"Kira, that story is…well..." Balcus spoke as he looks very unnerved because he along with Luce couldn't understand where Kira is from and how his story of a war that they never heard of could even be real. "I'm sorry, but are you really, okay?"

"No, it's understandable that you don't believe my story." Kira spoke with a nod as he looked down to his lap and upon his hands. "Even I can't understand how I ended in this place."

Balcus and Luce looks at Kira before to each other as both thought about something that made them smile a bit before they turn to look at the young man on the bed.

"Well, with how much of a story you have on where you're from. I think it'll be all right to say that you're telling the truth." Balcus spoke as he stood up from his seat and gently placed a hand to Kira's shoulder. "Kira, just rest and recover as much as you want in our home. we can't say that we understand on where you came from, but we know that you're someone who has spent a lot of time fighting a battle." The old man nods with a smile. "Right now, you just need to rest."

"Thank you and I'm very sorry to be an inconvenience." Kira spoke in a humble voice as he bowed his head a bit.

"it's fine." Balcus spoke while shaking his head. "When someone is in need of help, it's obvious to help them." He smiles with a chuckle. "That is what my father told me before I became the Lord of my territory."

"I'll get you something to eat from the kitchen." Luce spoke as she got off her seat and slowly walked to the door. "You must be famished after not eating for an entire week."

"Thank you." Kira spoke as he nodded.

"If you need anything, call any of the maids in our home for it." Balcus spoke as he followed his wife. "I got some work to deal with." He stands by the door and looks at the young man. "Just rest and recover from your wounds, Kira. You need it."

"Yes." Kira nods before smiling. "Thank you for your hospitality, Balcus-san."

Balcus nods back with a smile before he pulls the door and closes it when he leaves the room.

Kira is now alone in his room as he slowly gets off the bed. The young man feeling a bit weak, but he held on and slowly made his way to the window to look to the view outside.

"This is not Orb nor the Earth Alliance Forces." Kira spoke as he sees the view outside which shows a large area of a farm that is ten times ten width and filled with people working around in maintaining the crops produced around the fields. "Just where in the world am I?"

A few hours later, Kira is now walking around with a wooden crutch that supports him as he walks because his legs are feeling a bit stiff and weakish.

Kira moves around as he sees how everything seems peaceful upon the land.

"So peaceful…" Kira whispers as he smiles a bit to see how the sky is bright and clear. "it's been too long since I've seen skies like this one."

"Hey there." A voice called out to Kira who turns and sees a young man who is a bit taller than the Gundam Pilot, has black hair, a tough built look, and wears farmer like clothing. "You must be the stranger that my father and mother found days back."

"You are?" Kira asks as he only knew Balcus and Luce, he doesn't know anyone else around the area.

"Ah, right." The young man spoke as he reaches out his right hand to Kira while showing a friendly smile. "My name is Nicks, Nicks Fou Bartfort."

"Nicks Fou Bartfort…" Kira whispers as he shakes hand with Nicks. "Are you related to Balcus-san and Luce-san?"

"I am." Nicks replied with a nod and then smiled. "I'm their son, after all."

"Son?" Kira looks a bit surprised.

Soon Nicks brought Kira around the area of his family's land as they rode a horse carriage to ease the injured young man's way of travel.

"So, you're not from around here, huh?" Nicks spoke as he hears from Kira on how he is not from the land of the Kingdom but somewhere far away. "This Earth Alliance Forces place, right?"

"Yes, something like that." Kira nods in reply as he frowns in remembering how he woke up and came to be in the place. "To be honest, I don't know if the place still remains as it is after how I ended up here."

Nicks looks at Kira for a moment before he sighs with a smile.

"Cheer up, will you?" Nicks told Kira. "I don't know what is going on with you, but don't get gloomed up just because you think that you can't get back to your place." He places a hand to his chest and smiles a bit. "I can tell you that you might be able to come back to your own place one day."

"One day…" Kira spoke as he smiles a bit from receiving the small gesture of kindness from Nicks.

"So, you got out of bed because?" Nicks asks as he met Kira, but he didn't ask on why the injured man is out of bed.

"I wanted to look around." Kira replied as he turned his gaze to the field nearby. "Where I'm from, we don't have farms this big. We just have homes and buildings of many kinds."

"Your place must not focus on farming, huh?" Nicks said as he looked at Kira before to their surroundings. "But yeah, this farm of my Family is big but it's home." he looks back at the brown-haired young man. "Want to see how we keep the place up and going?"

"I'd love to." Kira replies with a nod.

Nicks now begins to give a tour around the territory of his Family's land as he shows Kira the windmills, the rivers and lakes, the farms, and many more. It is an entirely different world from what the Gundam Pilot originally knew, and it all just surprises him each time.

Currently, the horse carriage goes to a large mansion located at the center of the floating island. The building is the main home for the Bartfort family and the place where everyone would gather.

"This is my family's home." Nicks spoke as he helped Kira off the carriage. "My dad and mom along with my sisters and little brother are here, doing stuff for their usual routine."

"This place really is different from where I came from..." Kira whispers as he and Nicks begins to walk into the mansion. "This land, your name, your family are nobles, right? People who manage and survey the land that is their territory?" he waves a hand to the side. "I am familiar with noble system from my homeland, but I am uncertain if it's the same with this land."

"well, I can say that it is a hassle at first to have such things..." Nicks replied as he explained on how the whole Bartfort family being nobles is because during the early years of the land's development; the population of the people on the land grew large and therefore came the officials and investigators from the Holfort Kingdom who made Nicks' grandfather; a noble who is of the baron rank.

"This land uses the rank of nobility, huh?" Kira spoke as he slowly understood how things work upon the foreign land he is upon. "Must be very operative if you have such system to work the flow of the land."

"Not really." Nicks shakes his head after he sighs. His face soon showed a tired expression. "Some things about the nobility and stuff can be very vexing and tiring."

"How?" Kira replied as he looked curious.

"IS THIS REALLY HOW YOU INTEND TO REPAY MY KINDNESS!?" A loud voice screams out as Kira and Nicks hear it from two doors away.

"Great, she's here." Nicks spoke with a tired voice.

"who's here?" Kira asks before both went to the source of the voice and peeks through a door to see Balcus and Luce are being scolded by an older woman who seems angry and upset about something.

"HOW MUCH DO YOU INTEND TO MAKE ME WAIT?! WHERE IS MY MONEY!? I HAVE BEEN WORKING MY TIME TO LET THIS FAMILY BE A PART OF THE ROYALTY!" the older woman screams at Balcus who seems nervous and afraid along with Luce. "ANSWER ME, BALCUS!"

"w-we are still b-busy in this year's harvest, Zola." Balcus spoke a bit nervously. "We couldn't procure the investment of our land's profit too quickly and therefore..."

"I will not hear your excuses!" the older woman exclaimed as she swings out her hand that held a folded fan. "I gave you two weeks! And two weeks have passed! Where is my money!?"

"Who is she?" Kira asks as he knew that he won't like the older woman if he ever meets her.

"that's Zola. My father's official wife." Nicks spoke in reply as Kira looks confused before getting explained that Luce, his mother is actually the mistress of the family while Zola is the legitimate wife. The world revolves on the noble rank system which involves the actual need for owners of vast lands to be nobles. "that's why Zola always gets the money made by my Family's farm. It's all to ensure that other royals won't threaten our Family. We got to have a presence of nobility and that's what Zora is here for."

"But you said that she's over 40, right? Your father is still 30 years old and…" Kira spoke before Nicks begins to take him away and hides. The young man quickly got his friend away because of Zola coming out and leaving with a huff while Balcus and Luce remains inside while seeming tired. After the older woman was gone, Kira continues. "Do they even love each other?"

"No affection at all." Nicks replied while shaking his head once. "Those two are together because it is to give the presence that this land is of the nobles and not the commoners." He looks to the side and shows a disdain expression. "This place, this kingdom is ruled by women who have more power."

"Matriarchy…" Kira spoke as he is familiar with the social system where women hold the primary power positions in authority. "That is a bad system to follow with the ruling of a kingdom." He cups his chin and begins to think. "Would that mean that this kingdom is ruled by a queen instead of a king?"

Kira has a lot of questions about the place he is in as he knew that the answers can be received from doing some research about it.

The day is gone as night came upon the floating island of the Bartfort Household.

Kira is in a library as he sat by a table and is currently reading book after book that holds information about the kingdom that he is in.

Currently, Kira knows that he is in the Holfort Kingdom which runs on a noble ranking system and is matriarchy which is something not he knows, the letters of the alphabet are not what he is accustomed to yet he is able to read them like they are his daily language, the history of the world doesn't match with the one that he knows, the world has mechanical suits called Armor which are like mobile suits, but they run on magic power.

"Magic can be in a variety of types, all of which are enabled to be casted when given the right amount of Mana by the caster." Kira spoke as he was reading a book that has information regarding magic, something that he was sure should not be something existing. He scratches his head as he only understands science, physics, and technology, magic isn't in his criteria of expertise. "This is something beyond my comprehension..."

Kira places the book about magic aside as he leans against his seat and looks to the ceiling.

"I can without a doubt say that I am no longer on earth, or rather my world's earth." Kira spoke as he deduced that he is not in his own world, but a world of a different dimension where it is medieval, fantasy, and sci-fi like. "I came upon this world after I killed Rau Le Creuset and the Genesis exploded. I tried to get away but…" he frowns when he remembers how his entire world went white when the ZAFT's ultimate weapon exploded. "That time…." He slowly raises his right hand to his face, and he just looks at how his fingers flex each time he moves them. "Did I die?"

He begins to think of how he even arrived upon this world. Did a wormhole appear from Genesis' explosion and sucked him into this world? Did he die and got reincarnated to the world? Or is he just dead and everything around him is mere illusions?

Kira has more questions popping around in his head but with how he lacks the right resource to find them, he is stuck with finding the answers from the books in the Bartfort's small library.

"I still don't understand how I am even here" Kira whispers as he leans away from his seat before he went and looks to a window nearby to see the full moon in the night sky. "For what purpose do I have in coming to this world?" He frowns as he begins to think of his twin sister, his childhood best friend, and everyone he knew in his world. His expression turns sadden when he remembers the pink haired girl whose kindness helped him survive against the guilt that grew in his heart. "Lacus…"

Kira gazes at the moon as he just stares and imagines his friends from his world. The young man silently praying that they are okay and perhaps in the world with him, somewhere.

A month came and passed by. Kira started a life as a guest of the Bartfort family.

Kira had recovered from his injuries as he surprised Balcus and Luce along with their family's doctor who can't believe how the young man could heal from terrible wounds that should've taken him at least a few weeks to fully recover from.

As of now, Kira lives upon the Bartfort floating island as he thanked Balcus and Luce's kind hospitality by helping them manage their farmland.

The young man helped the family by solving many of their problems by using his great intellect and engineering capabilities to the full.

When there was trouble with the land in finding a better way to collect water from the river, well, and lake. Kira devises a waterway path with the help of the town's local blacksmiths and craftsmen who helped the hydration of the crop field that now has custom made sprinklers to water them with a mere twist of a wheel.

When there was a problem on how the land's soil needs to be smoothened and fertile for new crops. Kira made a blueprint of a steam engine tractor which was built by the land's blacksmiths and the craftsmen. The machine had a few hiccups in its creation but when it was finally finished, it revolutionized the farmer's way of doing their agriculture.

Balcus along with his farmers are amazed with Kira's great intellect as their usual hard life of farming just got more easier with the young man's ideas that got attention of other neighboring households who requests his assistance on some of their farming problems as well.

Currently, Kira is with Balcus and Nicks by a grape vineyard.

Kira had grown accustomed to living a life at the farm, he learned a lot from Balcus' family, and they too learn much from the young man.

"I wonder what ideas you got left for us, Kira." Nicks asks with a grin as he checks some grapes before plucking out the ripe ones that he placed away into a straw basket. "The tractors were crazy at first, but now it's a norm thing for us to use."

"Well, I am planning to make an electrical engine." Kira replied as he checks some grapes, trying to see which ones are ripe for picking and which ones are not. The young man holds the fruits in his right hand and smiles to see how juicy looking they are. "It might help with the farming."

"How?" Balcus asks as he looks curious at the young man's ideas that may help with his land's farming.

"Well, the electrical engine can actually help upgrade the tractor from its power that comes from the steam engine." Kira spoke as he explained that the electrical engine works as a conductor of power that sends volts of electricity to power the tractor in a way of gears moving when imbued with the stored and charged electricity. His explanation just confuses Balcus and Nicks who didn't understand one bit.

"I'm starting to wonder what place you even come from, Kira." Nicks said with a sweatdrop as he looked at Kira like he was an alien or something.

"Sorry, I guess the things from where I come from can't actually be easy to understand." Kira spoke with a small chuckle before he continued to pluck the grapes. "But I think it's best that things here go slow."

"Damn right." Balcus spoke with a nod as he plucked some grapes and put them into his basket that he soon hoisted up into his arms. "Here in the farmland of my home, slow life is the best!" he grins and laughs a bit. "Nothing beats the life at the farm!"

"He can say that easily because he likes farming." Nicks spoke with a sweatdrop before he sighs. "Unlike those two girls."

"Right…" Kira whispers as he had met with all of Balcus' family members and who is who in the group.

There is Balcus who is the head of the family, Zola the legitimate wife who has a son and a daughter named Rutart and Merce, Luce is the second wife or mistress who is the mother of Nicks; the second son, Jenna; the second oldest daughter, Finley; the youngest daughter, and lastly Colin; the youngest son.

Kira met each one and he is very fond to Nicks and Colin who treats him well, but he is a bit sceptic, awkward, and distant when he met Jenna and Finley who are with his own honest opinion; too arrogant, rude, and condescending, yet he could tell that the two are caring for their family in their own way. But when he met Zola and her children; he instantly could tell that they weren't good people that he should not be around with no matter what.

"I heard that Zola-san is coming for some reason?" Kira spoke to Nicks as there have been occasional visits by the legitimate wife to the land. The usual reasons are to get money from the farm's produce but sometimes; she just came to nag at Balcus about something.

"Probably to ask more money like she always does." Nicks replied as he looked tired. "because of how it is getting easier for us to do our farm with the help of the things you made. We started to make more money than usual, and Zola wants to get every penny for it." he sighs and shakes his head. "When I graduate, I'm just going to marry someone from this land and just be happy with it."

"I see…" Kira smiles a bit awkwardly.

A few other things that Kira has learn over time at the Bartfort's land, he finds out about Nicks being a second-year student of the Holfort Academy for nobles. Jenna is also the same as her brother. There, the nobles are separated into the advanced class and the regular class. The advanced classes are for those who are ranked baron above and the opposite is for the regular class. All said, the Gundam pilot believes that it is a very terrible academic system.

Kira and Nicks left the field as they finished today's work of crops harvesting. They went back to the Bartfort home and took a bath to clean themselves up.

One hour later.

Kira and Nicks are just chatting together as they walk in a hallway, planning to go to the dining room for dinner when suddenly.

"YOU'RE WHAT!?" Balcus' voice is heard screaming loudly as it surprises Kira and Nicks. "YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!"

"what's going on?" Kira asks Nicks as both quickly yet quietly made their way to the source of the voice.

Both went to a half-closed door as they peeked in and saw Balcus having a serious talk with Zola.

"Colin is just 11 years old! You can't just marry him off!" the Master of the Bartfort Household slams his hands to the table where there is a formal request about a marriage between the clan's youngest son of the mistress with a woman from the capital. "Zola! Colin is still so young! He's still learning the basics of the noble system! He's still 11 years old and barely a teenager!"

"This marriage is for the benefit of the family." Zola spoke in a calm voice as she sips a cup of tea. "she's the daughter of a court noble that I associate with." She closed her eyes and huffed a bit. "I am doing this for your family's benefits and yet you object."

"How can I not?!" Balcus replies as he begins to complain about the idea of marrying Colin to a noble's daughter who is actually 50 years old.

"This must be one of those arranged marriage meetings…" Nicks said with an uncomfortable face. "God, this is just damn terrible timing."

"You say that like you have experienced it..." Kira asks as Nicks' face went a bit blue.

"Before I got to the school, I nearly got married off to an old lady..." Nicks replied as Kira awkwardly deadpanned from the idea of the young man being married with an old woman.

"That should be illegal in some way..." Kira whispers.

Night came to the world as the sky turned dark yet is glimmering with countless stars and the glowing crescent moon.

Kira is walking around the farmland as he had just finished dinner and had some time at the library to learn a bit more of the world that he is in. the young man walks in the peaceful night before he came across with Balcus who is pushing a wheelbarrow filled with compose.

"Balcus-san." Kira greeted the man who nods in greeting.

Now, Kira is walking alongside Balcus who is still working on a field to finish up for the day.

"Um…I'm sorry if it was impolite but I heard about Colin's arranged marriage." Kira spoke to Balcus while helping him shovel out the dirt compost from the wheelbarrow and place them in the field's soil. "It must be hard to let it happen."

"Yeah." Balcus nods as he looks tired from thinking about the conversation that he had with Zola. "I mean, it is to keep the family from being threatened by the other nobles, but…." he frowns and then shakes his head. "I just can't stand the idea of my youngest son becoming a pawn of it. I mean, his arranged partner is a 50-year-old woman who has 7 marriages so far! Who would want to marry such a person!"

"r-right..." Kira nods in agreement as he smiles awkwardly for a moment. The young man stops and looks at Balcus. "But you plan to revoke the marriage, right? I mean, Colin-kun is so young and that's not something he should experience in his childhood life."

"I get where you're going, Kira." Balcus spoke as he placed the end of his shovel to the dirt and held the handle on top with both hands. He looks up and sighs. "I plan to stop this marriage, but it isn't going to be easy."

"Is it because of the fee need to compensate it?" Kira asks, the young man learning about how there must be a price to pay if one is to get wedded to a noble or canceling a wedding, whichever comes first.

"Yeah, it won't cheap." Balcus said as he rubs a hand to his shoulder. "But we'll manage to collect it someway."

"I see…" Kira began to think as he knows how much the farmland produce over the passing weeks and he knows how long it will take to collect enough money to cancel the arrange marriage. He frowns when he realizes that it will take too long to do so. 'Even if I make machineries that may help in the farming, it won't help at all.' He begins to think of other ways to help Balcus' family. 'Perhaps...doing that?'

"Got a lot of work to do..." Balcus sighs as he continues to shovel the composition to the field but stops when Kira raises a hand. "Huh? What is it?"

"Balcus-san, can I ask you a favor?" Kira asks as Balcus blinks his eyes twice before nodding. "Would it be possible for you to provide me with an airship and several adventurer equipment?"

"I can, but…" Balcus replies before looking confused. "What you need them for?"

"I need them to become an adventurer." Kira replied with a serious look on his face. "I'll help your family procure the needed funds to cancel Colin-kun's arranged wedding."

"e-eh!?" Balcus looks shocked before he shakes his head and raises his hands out. "n-no! don't! this is my Family's problem! You're a guest and I can't trouble you with such a thing!"

"I know, but I can't let this occur no more." Kira spoke while placing a hand to his chest. "Think of it as my way to repay for your kind hospitality, Balcus-san." He smiles a bit when he remembers how much fun he had in the farm life that he experienced for only a month. "You saved me when I was unconscious at the grass field, you took care of me and my injuries, you welcomed me to your home like a family. I wish to repay that kindness of yours by helping you with the arranged marriage problem."

"Kira, I appreciate your kindness but…" Balcus spoke as he looks troubled. "Become an adventurer is one way to make money, but it comes with a lot of risks that involves death!"

"I won't die." Kira stated while shaking his head. "Not until I repay the kindness that you, Luce-san, and your family had given to me upon this land." He then bows his head. "Please let me become an adventurer and help you!"

Balcus now looks conflicted as he didn't want to make a young man become an adventurer and carry a burden that his family is supposed to carry.

After a few moments of pondering and deep thinking, Balcus sighs and reluctantly nods his head.

"I understand." Balcus spoke. "I'll allow you to help us, Kira. But please." He placed his hands upon the young man's shoulders and shook him once. "Please come back safely. You're a good person and a kind young man. I can't just let you go off to your doom so easily! So please!" he bows his head a bit. "Please come back safely!"

"yes" Kira nods his head with a smile. "I understand, Balcus-san."

Three days later, Kira is at the ship port of the land as he is wearing his pilot suit with a cloak of a cape. The young man been given a small airship loaded with weapons and food supplies.

"I thank you for providing me with this all, Balcus-san." Kira spoke as he bowed his head to Balcus. "I'll make sure to repay you in full."

"No need for that." Balcus stated as he shakes his head and then places a hand to Kira's shoulder and smiles a bit. "Just make sure that you come back safely. That's all that matters for me and my family."

"Not for me." A girl in the group spoke as if she was Jenna; the second daughter of the family who looks uninterested. "But well, you're going off to collect money for the family and that means more allowance money for me." she scoffs a bit and waves her ponytail hair to the side. "Good luck in making us more money."

"Make sure to get more for me too." Another girl who is the youngest daughter named Finley chimed in as she stood close to her big sister. "I want more money to get to buy a slave."

"Hey, Jenna! Finley!" Nicks scolded his sisters. "Kira is doing this for our family! The least you can do is wish him luck for his departure!"

"Yes yes…" Jenna and Finley replied all uninterested as Nicks shakes his head before looking at Kira.

"Sorry about them, but seriously speaking, good luck." The second son of the Bartfort family spoke as he shook hands with Kira. "I'm grateful for your kind assistance for the family, but don't push yourself too hard, okay? You're a great guy and a good friend." He smiles and firms his grasp in the handshake. "Just stay alive and come back safe."

"Yes." Kira nods before he turns to a young boy in the group who is Colin. The young boy carrying the young man's helmet. "Colin-kun."

"Do your best, Kira-niichan." Colin spoke as he held out the helmet to Kira. "I'm sorry that you're doing this for me and..."

"it's nothing, Colin-kun." Kira said with a smile as he held his helmet. "You and your family has been kind to me and had saved me when I was at death's door." He looks at his helmet before he looks at Colin who he smiles at. He then put the object on the young boy's head. "To repay your kindness by becoming an adventurer. It is nothing but a small feat." He then pats the top of the helmet a few times. "Just be good and be patient until I come back."

Colin smiles and nods once as Kira nods back before he stood back up to face Balcus and Luce.

"Kira-kun, please be careful." Luce spoke with a frown. "you're young and..."

"I understand, Luce-san." Kira nods with a smile. "Thank you for your concern and past kindness." He then bows. "I will not fail to repay your kindness."

Luce frowns a bit more as she feels conflicted to see a young man risking his life to become an adventurer where death's is always nearby.

A few minutes later, Kira sets off on his small airship that begins to fly into the sky.

Kira waves a hand in goodbye to the Bartfort family that returns the gesture, although Jenna and Finley didn't do anything but stand in silence and watch the airship leave the area.

Balcus and Luce watch the airship move away and slowly shrink as the growing distance.

"Was this really the only way?" Luce asks worriedly. "That child…he's…"

"I know." Balcus nods.

Over the time that Kira has been staying with the Bartfort family, the group or rather Balcus and Luce had noticed that their guest had a rather distant, yet melancholy look on his face when he is alone. The husband and wife knew that he had an injury to his heart that is yet to recover.

"I don't know where he came from, but I know that he seen the ugliness of war." Balcus spoke in a whisper as he sees Kira's airship is now disappearing into the clouds. "That young man is kind, gentle, and caring yet he was forced to participate into some battle that he didn't want to be in." he frowns and then let out a small sigh. "I sure hope that he returns safe and sound."

A few miles away from the Bartfort's territory, Kira steers his airship while checking a map and compass provided by Balcus.

Kira scans and checks the layout of the world that he is in as he sees many floating islands nearby, some were marked as uninhabited and unknown.

"Seems that this might be the adventure for an adventurer…." Kira spoke as he looked at the vast world upon him. "How ironic."

After about two months passed in the world, Kira is upon a small uninhabited island as he docked his airship for a momentary rest. He set up camp and had been working hard to collect money by venturing to uninhabited islands that may or may not hold secret treasures for him to find.

Kira sat in his tent and is currently checking the map and compass while taking occasional bites from an apple.

"To think that this world has treasures from ancient civilizations…" Kira spoke as he had marked a few islands with X marks, but a few were circled. The young man travelled to the islands in the last two months and each time he ventured within; he met with monsters and treasures that comes in a small number. He checks the map and marks the next island that he will venture. "I sure hope that this one doesn't have monsters."

For the last two months, Kira accumulated a small sack filled with gold coins and jewels, but he knew that it wasn't enough to fully pay for the cancelation of Colin's arranged marriage. He continues to go from island to island in search of treasure, encountering strange monsters that he had to kill to survive.

Kira packs up his belongings and heads for his airship then travels to the next island.

Risking his safety, limbs, and his life. Kira keeps on venturing to the world he is in as he faces anything that comes in his way.

After about two hours, Kira is on the next floating island as it is uninhabited but is mostly a wasteland where there is nothing but blackish brown dirt, rocks, and small vegetation.

"This must be why many of the islands aren't taken by nobles." Kira spoke, knowing that the Holfort Kingdom grew by taking floating islands that are marked as a part of the kingdom's territory. The young man venturers while carrying a rifle gun for protection. "can't see any possible place that may have treasures…"

Kira walks around the island's entire landscape for half an hour as he finds nothing. No monsters and no treasure.

"To think that it was this hard to locate treasure." Kira whispers as he sighs tiredly while making his way back to his airship. He sat down and began to think about how hard it is to get the needed funds for the cancelation of Colin's marriage. "Maybe I should just…"

Just as he was thinking of giving up, Kira remembers the good times he had with the Bartfort Family. Remembering the kindness that Balcus and Luce showed him and remembering how they acted like his own parents.

"Mom and Dad…" Kira whispers with a small frown on his face. The young man remembering about his adoptive parents; Caridad Yamato and Haruma Yamato. He remembers their kindness in adopting and raising him as their own child as it was the same with Balcus and Luce who were just like them. "Balcus-san and Luce-san…"

Kira looks to the sky as he sees the clear blue sky and the shining sun.

"that's right..." Kira spoke while smiling. "I can't give up just yet. Not until I repay the debt I have."

With stronger resolve, Kira keeps on venturing around the world in search of treasure that he plans to give to Balcus' family.

Kira sets sail on his airship as he looks around for any islands that he may not have ventured into.

"The next island would be…." Kira checks his map and compass as he sees the other islands that he has not ventured into, but he soon notices that his compass' arrow is spinning around crazy. "This is?"

Kira checks his compass before he looks at his surroundings as he doesn't know what was going on with his navigational tool.

"Is there something with a strong magnetic force?" Kira spoke as he checked for the islands nearby before he noticed something peculiar upon the water below. "That is?" He looks down and sees something glowing, a white light in the water. "Is that light coming from the sun or?"

Curiosity now has Kira who steers his airship down to check the light.

"Is there something underneath that is reflecting the light?" Kira asks no one as his ship gets closer to the water and when it did, a big eruption of water sends it flying into the air. "Wha!?"

Kira hangs on as his airship got sent flying high into the air like a cannon firing its ammo. The airship flew high while slowly cracking because of the powerful force that fired it.

"Kuuuhh!" Kira holds on as his airship shakes before pieces of it begin to break.

A minute later, Kira's airship crashed upon an island as the dirt surrounds the broken ship that has pieces of it scattered everywhere.

Kira slowly gets out as he stands upon the island and then sits down on the ground. The young man shaking his head and trying to calm his nerves after the crazy ride.

"Just w-what was that?" Kira places a hand to his shaking and spinning head once before he looks around and realizes that the island, he is on is very weird. "This place?" He gets up and soon gasps in surprise because he sees a large yet old building nearby, but it seems very advanced. "That place is!"

Kira looks baffled as he had heard about ancient ruins that were made by an ancient civilization of the past, but what he sees is not something that should be considered ancient at all.

Kira is now venturing the ruined building as he sees things that he has only seen in his own world and not the one he is currently in.

"Everything here is alike with what I have seen before at the Heliopolis and Orb." Kira went around with his rifle gun as he saw everything was overgrown with roots and vines, but he could tell that it was once a well-maintained facility. "Just what had occurred here?"

Kira checks every room he can go into, and he soon finds one room that has skeletal remains of people.

"Were they scientists?" Kira spoke as he went and checked the skeletal remains, finding nametags that are still hanging around their necks. "I can't read the name anymore. It's too smudged up."

Kira spends the next hour checking everything in the building as he goes to each doorway and finds old items that are no longer working because of how old and rusty they are.

"This door is the only one locked." Kira spoke as he was standing by a locked reinforced metal door in the deeper parts of the building that is locked and the only way to open it was with an access key card on a keypad. "I need the key, but I don't even know where it is…."

Kira tried to activate the keypad and hack its system, but it didn't respond as he had anticipated.

"I have to use the key." Kira spoke as he began to think. "But where do I even..." he soon remembers the skeletal remains in a previous room as he thinks that they might have the keycard. "Perhaps…..."

Returning to the first room upon his entry into the ruins and coming back to the closed door with a dirtied key card in hand, Kira went and swipes the card to the keypad that flashes a green light and beeps once before the locked doorway slowly rumbles and begins to open.

"Alright…" Kira smiles a bit as he sees the door opening and revealing a large and wide space that has a large facility overgrown with vines and tree roots. "This place is…"

Kira ventures into the facility as he sees everything is like the hangar of a spaceship back in his world.

"This place is…just what?" Kira looks around and soon arrives at a large dock where he finds something large stationed by. "t-that is!?"

Kira went and stopped in his place as he looked in complete shock to see a large white and red airship that he is familiar with.

"A-Archangel…" Kira whispers as he sees the large mobile assault ship that he had been on during the first time he seen it at his Colony. "Just why is it here!?"

Dozens of questions flooded Kira's mind as he begins to think of why the legged mobile assault ship is currently doing in such a place to is the crew of the ship on board or somewhere?

Going with his actions instead of his thinking, Kira goes and went on board the Archangel. The young man hoping to find answers on the ship.

In the hallway of the mobile assault ship, Kira had entered through the main entrance on the side of the Archangel as he goes and looks around for any signs of the crew members.

"Hello?! guys!? Is anyone here!?" Kira cries out as he searched every place for any of his friends to be in. "anyone?" He goes to some rooms and checks. "isn't there anyone here?"

Kira walks around before he arrives to his own room.

"Anyone? Is there anyone inside?" Kira goes in as he tried to find any people in the ship but got no response. The young man frowns and sighs. "I guess I really am the only one here."

Kira was about to leave his room when his eyes caught sight of something familiar by the side of the bunker bed.

"isn't that?" Kira muttered as he turned and soon smiled.

He goes to the table and picks up an object which is his mechanical pet bird, Tori.

"Tori!" Kira cries out to see the little metal bird as it is the one possession of his that is precious because it is something that his childhood best friend, Athrun Zala had given to him before both parted ways. The Ultimate Coordinator looks at Tori and realizes that it has been deactivated. "Did its batteries run out?"

Kira begins to thinker with the mechanical bird as he checks its batteries and its systems before pressing a little switch on its head that made Tori spread its wings.

"Tori~!" The little mechanical bird cries out as it flies around the room and then circles around Kira who is just smiling happily to see it fly. "Tori~!"

"Tori!" Kira cries out to his pet robot bird as it flaps its wings and soars in the air before flying down and perched on his right shoulder. "it's so good to see you."

The robot bird twists its head and looks at Kira while hopping on his shoulder a few times before spreading its wings and flying away.

Kira smiles as he watches Tori fly away all freely. The young man just happy to see it being a free bird that it is.

"Tori~! Tori~!" Tori cries out as it flew to a corner and disappeared.

Kira looked at the corner as he knew where it led to.

As Kira chases Tori, the young man now finds himself in the Archangel's hangar bay where everything is silent because there isn't anyone around.

"Tori, why did you bring me here?" Kira asks Tori who flies around before going to a corner nearby. "Tori?"

"Tori~! Tori~!" Tori cries out as Kira looks at where the mechanical pet bird disappeared before following it.

"Is it possible?" Kira spoke before he went and turned at the corner where he soon finds Tori flying in the air before it lands on the shoulder of a large black and grey mobile suit that remains bolted and locked to a base area. "t-that is!"

The Ultimate Coordinator looks in total surprise to see the mobile suit that changed his life back at Heliopolis.

"The Strike…" Kira whispers in seeing the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam that stood at its base as the mech is currently in its deactivated mode and its colors are grey and dull. The Ultimate Coordinator is at a loss for words because of seeing the nostalgic mobile suit. "To think that I would see it once again in this world…" he looks at the large robot before he looks around the area and sees that besides the Strike, the two Skygraspers are at their base area and currently docked. "The Skygrasper are here too, but." the young man looks to the side and then went to a control console that he activates. "it's working."

Kira begins to check the system as he sees information about the hangar and finds out that the Strike along with the Skygraspers have remained deactivated in their bases, the Striker Pack Systems are loaded in the weapon's vault and remains prepared, and lastly the crew are registered in the system but no info on where they are.

"Maybe at the Bridge…" Kira whispers as he deactivates the computer and goes away while leaving Tori who just flies around all freely without restraint.

Upon the Bridge, the command area of the Archangel. The place is empty as there is not a single person on board the ship.

The door to the Bridge slides opens as Kira came in while having his gun strapped to his back.

"There is no one…" Kira spoke as he looks sad to know that no one from his world is even here with him. "Just where is everyone?"

Kira walks around the Bridge as he looks at the front post where Arnold Neumann and Dalida Lolaha Chandra II would pilot the Archangel, the communication bridge where Miriallia Haw and Jackie Tonomura would be stationed for communication and combat information, and then lastly to the commander seat where the captain; Murrue Ramius would be.

"Murrue-san…" Kira whispers as he remembers sensing the death of Mu La Flaga who sacrifice himself to protect the Archangel from the Dominion, the young man knowing how much in pain the women captain would be after her lover died in the war. "Mu-san."

Kira sighs softly as he felt a bit devastated to know that not one of his friends and comrades are on board the Archangel.

He walks and sits down by the stairs nearby as he places a hand to his forehead, contemplating what action he should go with next.

"I know that I have to provide money for the cancelation of Colin-kun's marriage, but I found the Archangel and I can't just…" Kira whispers as he begins thinking on whether he should sell the ship to the Holfort Kingdom. The mobile assault ship being considered a powerful weapon that is considered a Lost Item in the world he is in and that means something of this valuable could be sold for a high price. "it's important for me and my friends, but Balcus-san' family…"

As Kira continues to ponder what he should do after finding the Archangel, he notices that there is a metal briefcase nearby the captain seat and has a peculiar symbol on the top.

"That is?" Kira checks the object and finds it to be some sort of portable military computer with the symbol of a hexagon that is yellowish orange in color and has wrenches and nuts. "isn't this Junk Guild's symbol?" he checks the symbol as it belongs to an NGO back at his world; the young man knowing about it because a member of the Junk Guild once saved him. "This would mean…."

Kira takes the case to the communication post and links it up with the case's systems and inserts the cables to the backport slot before beginning to boot up the data that shows the Junk Guild's symbol on the screen.

The Ultimate Coordinator checks all the data that he inputs manually on a keyboard as he sees the information stored in the case that soon activates.

"Eh? Where am I?" a voice came from the case as its words were displayed on the screen. "Wait a minute, aren't you?"

"Hachi. it's me, Kira!" Kira spoke with a smile as he knew the voice belonged to an artificial intelligence in the case called 8 or Hachi.

"Kira!? I haven't seen you since Lowe saved you!" Hachi replied ecstatically. "How have you been!?"

"I'm doing well now that I found you on the Archangel." Kira said with a smile as this made Hachi sound confused.

"The Archangel? But why am I here?" Hachi asks while question marks appear on his screen. "I was with Lowe, and we were off to the remnants of Genesis and…"

"Wait a minute! Did you just say remnants of Genesis!?" Kira spoke out in surprise.

"Yeah, we were on our way to the remnants of ZAFT's superweapon..." Hachi spoke as he began to explain to Kira that he and his team from the Junk Guild were off in space to where Genesis' remnants are at. His group is doing their devoted work in keeping, maintaining, and salvage of the technology that forms the structure of the Cosmic Era. The AI told Kira that the battle was over after 2 months, and his guild was doing their job when Lowe and himself went to an abandoned ZAFT's Laurasia Class ship. The partner of the AI checks the system to see if the ship is salvageable or not and tries to access its systems with its help, but when it got plugged in, everything shuts down. "Afterwards, you rebooted me and here we are."

"2 months…." Kira spoke as he processed the information that was given by the AI. "Genesis was destroyed, the earth was saved, and yet…"

"Hey, Kira. What's wrong?" Hachi asked. "Is something going on?"

"Well…the thing is." Kira spoke as he began to tell his side of the story on how he woke up in such a world when he defeated Rau Le Creust in battle. He told the AI everything about the last three months he has been spending in the fantasy yet sci fi mixed world that just goes beyond his comprehension. "I ventured to the world and accidentally found the island where the Archangel is stored in an old, ruined building, and lastly I found you."

"Just what is going on?" Hachi asks confused as the AI begins checking on the data on the Archangel and finds nothing about the world that the ship is in. "I just checked with the ship's system, and it has no log of ever leaving."

"Are you sure?" Kira asks as he checks manually and true to the AI's words, there is no ship log stored. "What? that can't be right."

"Let me try rerouting through a different access." Hachi replied as both the AI and the Ultimate Coordinator checked every system in the Archangel's main programming.

Both check every single piece of data as they see that the ship was built by ORB, the weapons are active and at full capacity, but there is no log of the ship's travels.

"Just what is going on?" Kira asks as he and Hachi couldn't find a single trace of the Archangel's flight history. "We can't find a single info about what happened at Genesis and afterwards." He frowns while cupping his chin. "Did someone delete the data? But if so, it should be salvageable."

"I don't think we can, Kira." Hachi replied while showing a Sad Emoji face on its screen. "There is no record of anything on the Archangel's data log. Rather than being erased, seems that the systems give info that the ship never set off on any journey upon its built."

"Never set off?" Kira spoke as he thought on the possibility that the Archangel he is on is different from the one he knows of. He frowns as he begins to think that his friends and comrades aren't in this world with him, Tori, and Hachi. "Does that mean that I… that we are the only ones here?"

As Kira begins to despair, Hachi let out a beep as he found something that showed up on its screen.

"There is a roster log that is active." Hachi spoke as Kira looked at the AI and saw information and data being inputted before it showed a roster of the Archangel's crew. "isn't this?"

"Everyone…" Kira spoke as he sees the information of Murrue, Mu, everyone who was on board the ship. "If this roster is registered, then that would mean…"

"Whatever world we are, your friends might be here with you, Kira." Hach started with a smiling emoji face appearing on his screen. "Even Lowe too!"

Kira smiles as he now has hope that his friends are somewhere in the world with him, they might just be at different locations.

"Hachi, can you help me?" Kira asks the AI who shows a Question mark on its screen. "Can you help me work the facility where the Archangel is in?"

"Facility?" Hachi spoke.

Kira brings Hachi out of the Archangel and to a working computer in the abandoned facility as everything works on a program similar to what the two are familiar with.

"This facility is very amazing!" Hachi spoke as the AI computer has cables connecting to a large wide monitor screen that shows dozens of data and information about the facility. "Everything is advanced! Weapons, schematics, information, everything!"

"I know." Kira said as he searches the roster of information. "But I am keener on the idea that we can work this facility and use it."

"For what?" Hachi asks.

"To find our friends, of course." Kira replies with a smile. "If I found Tori and you in the Archangel, then that means Lowe-san and everyone else might be somewhere in the world." He looks at the screen and sees photos of the Archangel's crew showing on it. "We just got to find them."

"Right!" Hachi replied with enthusiasm in his voice.

With Hachi's help, Kira got most of the machinery in the facility up and running. Albeit a few are working sluggishly because they are overgrown with tree vines and rusted. He manages with what he got and fixes what there is to be fixed.

About 4 hours later, Kira ventures deeper into the facility as he is accompanied by Tori and a small drone which is being remote controlled by Hachi.

"I think the data says that the treasure is in this area." Hachi spoke from the drone as it led Kira down a hallway and to a corner. "There it is!"

Kira arrives at the corner of the hallway, and he is soon amazed by the sight of a mountain of gold coins, treasure chests, jewels, and many more.

"With this much treasure, I can now help Balcus-san cancel Colin-kun's marriage." Kira said with a smile as he sees Tori flying in and perching to the top of a treasure chest, the mechanical bird looking curious at the object it is standing on. The young man similes with a sigh as he is finally relieved to be able to keep his promise to the Bartfort family. "With this, I kept my promise to Balcus-san…"

"I still can't believe that this world has a kingdom that is medieval and fantasy like." Hachi spoke as its drone flies around. "I mean, it's like some game or something, right?"

"Yeah." Kira nods in agreement. "Very much."

"Well then, I should call in automatons to help with the treasure being loaded off." Hachi spoke while the drone turned towards the treasure. "If Lowe was here, he might cry in jealous tears on us."

"Why?" Kira asks.

"it's because we found this mountain of treasure and he can't get a share." Hachi replied as Kira awkwardly smiles while imagining the Junk Guild's ace pilot who is begging for the gold and treasure to be shared to him.

About a month later, at the island territory of the Bartfort family.

There is a meeting between Balcus, Luce, and Zola who had come to discuss the matter of Colin's engagement that is planned to be cancelled but it seems that it was going to be changed because of how Kira hasn't returned from his travels.

"You are a fool, Balcus." Zola said with a scoff. "For you to put your trust upon a stranger who cannot keep his promise." She scoffs again. "Not only is the marriage proposal ruined, but your so-called trusted companion also left and never returned. What an utter fool!"

"Please, Zola-sama. Kira-kun isn't that type of a boy." Luce spoke out with a frown. "We only known that child for only a month, and yet we could understand him like he was our own son! So please!"

"Please give us more time, Zola!" Balcus pleaded. "No matter how skilled any adventurers are, the chances of them encountering treasures to lands belonging to the kingdom is a near 50-50 chance! I'm sure that if you give us more time, Kira would be back and then!"

"Enough!" Zola exclaimed. "It has been three months! Three months since that boy departed from this land!" she takes out her fan and spreads it out. "Just accept that he is dead or won't be coming back at all!"

Balcus and Luce frown as they thought that the worst had occurred upon Kira in his travel.

But as they grieve in their imagination, Nicks with Colin came running in.

"Mom! Dad! Come outside!" Nicks exclaimed.

"it's Kira-niichan!" Colin yelled with a big smile. "he's back! Kira-niichan is back!"

"What!?" Balcus and Luce gasp in shock before everyone exits the room in an instant.

Outside and flying in the clear blue sky of the Bartfort floating island is the Archangel that casts a large shadow upon the small house.

"w-what in the world!?" Balcus screams in shock while Luce stares at the giant ship with wide eyes.

"Everyone! I have returned!" Kira's voice called out from nowhere as the family sees the young man riding on a mobile transport ship that is carrying a large cargo filled with treasure. "I'm sorry that it took so long!"

"Kira-kun!" Luce gasps as she soon smiles with some tears. "I'm so glad!"

"What took you so long!?" Balcus exclaimed as he smiles just as much as his wife. "You had us worried!"

After landing his mobile transport ship, Kira reunites with the Bartfort Family members as he gets some hugs, greetings, and worried statements from Balcus, Luce, Nicks, and Colin. Only Jenna and Finley weren't around for the occasion.

"Balcus-san, as promised." Kira spoke as he moved a hand towards the cargo filled with treasure. "The treasure for the fund required in cancelling Colin-kun's arranged marriage."

"How did you get this much treasure?" Nicks asks before looking at the Archangel that remains floating above the sky. "And that airship. Is it a lost item?"

"I found them both on a Dungeon I happened to stumble upon." Kira replied with a smile. "I had to fight some monsters for almost a month before being able to claim them."

"Cool! You fought against the monsters, Kira-niichan!?" Colin asks Kira who smiles with a nod before patting the young boy's head.

"Kira, I…I just…" Balcus spoke as he has no words to describe how grateful he is to the young man who keeps his word to help his family. "I just…thank you." he frowns and looks down a bit. "To be honest, I was sceptic about you being able to keep your promise at first." He then motions a hand to the treasure and then to the Archangel. "But seeing the treasure, that airship. I just… I just want to say thank you." He smiles while a bit in tears. "Truly, thank you."

"I promised that I would help you in returning the kindness and hospitality that you and your family had given me, Balcus-san." Kira replied with a smile as he bowed his head a bit. "Think nothing of it."

"My boy, you really are just..." Balcus spoke before suddenly getting pushed away by Zola.

"Enough of this drama!" Zola exclaimed as she went and pointed her folded fan at Kira. "You! Hand the treasure over to me! They are for the family, right!? I am the legitimate wife and therefore I am inclined to have it!" she then smirks while looking at the Archangel. "This ship is a lost item and therefore worth a fortune!" She looks back at Kira. "If you hand them over now, I will cancel the marriage and give you a suitable job upon this land. Now hand them over!"

Kira looks at Zola for a moment before he shakes his head and said with the calmest voice "No."

"n-no!?" Zola exclaimed a bit angrily as she points her fan at Kira once again. "Hand them over! You are a guest of the Bartfort Family and therefore you must repay the hospitality that has been given to you!"

"The debt I have is to Balcus-san and Luce-san. I repay the kindness of their family." Kira spoke with a serious voice. "Not to you." He raises his hand and pushes away the fan pointed at his face. "This treasure I have procured is for the cancelation of Colin-kun's arranged marriage. They are not for your personal use."

"Why you little!" Zola swings her fan up and was about to hit Kira with it, but the young man catches her arm and grips it tight. "Aahh!"

"I learned about this kingdom's rules and its matriarchy." Kira spoke as he looked down at Zola who is on her knees because of him slowly twisting her arm. "I could care less about its rules about harming women because I am not of this kingdom." He put more pressure on his grip as the older woman is slowly screaming in pain. "I dare to break your kingdom's rules in order to fully repay the kindness given to me by Balcus-san and Luce-san. I won't hesitate to break your arm in doing so too."

"Kira! Wait!" Balcus cries out while stepping forward. "Please wait! I know that you are trying to defend us, but this is not the right way to do so!" He slowly eases to Kira and gently grabs his hand. "Please let go of her hand. Please."

Kira looks at Balcus for a moment before Zola who is now crying in pain.

After a moment of pondering, Kira lets go of the older woman's hand and slowly moves away while being guided by Balcus.

"y-you won't get away with this! You!" Zola grunted while holding her gripped arm and slowly glared at Kira. "I am a noble! I have connections with the royal family! I'll see to it that you are executed!"

"You have no rights to do so." Kira spoke as he turned towards Zola. "I am an adventurer and therefore I have the rights to keep the items I have found." He slowly sterns his gaze a bit. "What I did to you today was nothing more than self-defense and there is nothing to be done about it."

"y-you little!" Zola growls angrily and just as she is about to say something, one stern look from Kira made her shut up and retreat. "you'll remember this!"

Nicks and Colin watches Zola leave as they wowed a bit.

"Man, Kira. You're awesome." Nicks said with a slightly amazed smile. "Dad couldn't fight against Zola, but you could do it easily."

"you're awesome, Kira-niichan!" Colin cheered with a big grin.

"Thank you." Kira spoke before he frowns and has a sad smile to Balcus. "I'm really sorry about what you just witnessed, Balcus-san. I was out there for three months, fighting monsters, and with what I have been doing there." He frowns even more while looking down. "I guess it made me become the person I was during that war of mine…truly sorry."

Balcus looks at Kira before he sighs with a smile and shakes his head then pats the young man's head.

"don't worry about it." Balcus spoke as he ruffles Kira's hair a bit. "you're back from a long adventure, you came back safe and sound along with the treasure you promised." He grins a bit while patting the young man's shoulders. "And frankly, I always wanted to make Zola look bad in many ways."

"I see…" Kira said with a small smile.

"But dear, this might still be a problem." Luce spoke out to Balcus who turned towards her. "Kira-kun has the rights to keep his discovery as his own, but since he is not part of the Holfort Kingdom…..."

"I know." Balcus spoke as he scratches his chin a bit. "Zola was at fault for trying to hit Kira, but the fact remains that Kira isn't a citizen of the kingdom and that means he is seen as a foreigner commoner."

"what's the problem with that?" Nicks asks his parents.

"The problem is the fact that Kira here could be seen as a spy infiltrating the kingdom." Balcus explained as he looked at the Archangel. "He found treasure and a lost item. This just doubles the trouble that could occur on him."

"But Kira-niichan helped us! He made the tractor, waterway, and many more!" Colin exclaimed. "he's a good guy! he's not a spy!"

"We know, Colin." Balcus stated with a nod as he looked worried. "But that isn't something the royal court would just accept from the get-go." He scratches his head while trying to think of a way to make Kira be seen as a normal person. "Just what to do!?"

Seeing Balcus frantic, Kira decided to step in.

"Balcus-san, if I may?" the young man spoke with a polite hand raised. "I believe the solution can be found by following the rules of the kingdom."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Balcus asked confused.

"If I am to be seen as a citizen of the Holfort Kingdom that has no illegal intention to the land…." Kira spoke out as if he knew the rules and tradition of the kingdom after learning about them a while back. "Then the solution would be for me to become a Knight of the Bartfort family."

"Eh?" Balcus made a noise before he, Luce, and Nicks looked shocked while Colin looked confused. "EEEHHHH~!?"

"a-are you serious, Kira-kun!?" Luce asks with a worried voice. "I mean, becoming a knight isn't something to be easily said! And!"

"And I know what I am saying, Luce-san." Kira spoke as he looked to his shoulder when Tori came flying in and perched on it, the little mechanical bird crying out to Kira while twisting its head side to side. "I have many things I need to accomplish and becoming a knight would help me do so." He looks back at Balcus. "So please, Balcus-san. make me the knight of your family."

That's a wrap!

Bye-Bye
