CHAPTER 1: Chaos Control Freaks
It was a peaceful night in the world of mobius a world populated with anthropomorphic animals or mobians as there called right by a large lake a large purple cat name big along with his pet frog froggy were sleeping under a tree however they were woken up by a loud alarm they looked around wondering where it was coming from.
The alarm was coming from a large tower base it belong to dr ivo robontik a mad scientist that is constantly tying to take over the world the base's floodlights switch on and several e-30 laser tanks make moves to protect the base they were preparing for something the question is what.
The laser tanks heard fast foot steps approaching they looked up ahead and a blue hedgehog was running towards them his name was sonic the hedgehog a cocky and snarky but good hearted hedgehog who was born with the ability of super speed he's always stopping robotnik's plans because of that he's seen as a hero in the eyes of everyone on mobius and he's here to shut down another one of the doctor plans by rescuing the mobians he's holding captive.
As soon as sonic comes in range the laser tanks open fire sonic smirked and easily out dodges the lasers several turrets then fired a hail of rockets at him sonic saw the missiles and rolled his eyes.
" are they even trying" he thought sonic outran all the missiles and they explode on the ground behind him a laser tank in front of him fire lasers at sonic he dodged them and use the lase tank as leverage to leap inside the perimeter of robotnik's base.
" this is to easy" sonic said to himself he start running towards the entrance of the base but was stopped when he had to dodge some missiles that were aim towards him he looked up and to his surprise it came from a robot floating in the air it was a blue robot that resemble him.
" metal sonic" sonic said in a surprise voice
" sup sonic long time no see missed me" said metal sonic
sonic smirked" hardly kinda surprised to see you i figured since you failed to beat me back at little planet the doc would have replace you like he does with all his robots"
" that was only a minor setback this time i'm prepared for you and i'm not letting you leave this place alive" metal sonic said while activating his weapons
sonic snickered" if you want kill me your gonna have to catch me first" he said he them ran left and metal sonic give chase the 2 ran through a tunnel as sonic avoid metal sonic's missiles just then a large robot called e-12 behemoth blocked the exit of the tunnel and stated charging toward sonic sonic was surprised by this but the surprise face was quickly replaced with a grin.
" finally some challenge" sonic muttered he ran into the exit he saw the left and the behemoth and metal sonic end up crashing into each other.
" get off of me you piece of crap your slowing me down " metal sonic said angrily he activated his laser and incinerated the large robot into dust and then continue to chase sonic.
sonic ran out of the tunnel he didn't noticed he was heading straight for a spring pad he steps on it and it bounce him high in the air.
" ah geez " said sonic metal sonic came out the tunnel and saw sonic and the air he took the advantage and charge towards sonic and punch him even higher into air sonic yelped.
"SONIC"
a blue plane called the tornado swoops down from the sky piloting was sonic's best friends a yellow 2 tailed fox named miles tails prower and on the passanger seat was a pink hedgehog name amy rose another one of sonic's friends and so called girlfriend as she telling people despite sonic make it pretty clear he has zero interest in dating her.
sonic saw the plane and smiled" tails perfect timing" he shouted
the robots on the ground saw the plane and stated firing tails try his best to avoid the lasers but one ended up hitting the side of the plane causing it catch on fire amy saw this and her eyes widen
" tails the plane is on fire what are we gonna do" she asked
" were gonna save sonic" tails were replied despite the damage he was able to move the plane closer to sonic tails pulled a switch and fired a rocket at sonic it broke upon revealing a glowing gold ring sonic grab it and landed in the woods and then suddenly a bright blue ball came flying out of the woods it was sonic in his spin dash form and he was smirking with victory he made a bee line straight to the building destroying every robot in his way he was heading straight towards metal sonic the robot clone activated a shield in front of him but that wasn't enough sonic ram into metal sonic sending the robot flying to and crashing into the side of the building sonic spindash into the building.
meanwhile tails was trying to keep the plane air board but the damage it received was causing it to lose altitude amy gasped when she saw they were heading straight for a large rock.
" tails were gonna CRASH" amy shouted
" I KNOW" said tails just then a spike fist punched through the rock destroying it completely the plane landed safely tails look up to see who saved them.
" knuckles" said tails the person who saved them was knuckles a tough as nails red echidna who was the guardian of the master emerald his relationship with sonic was a little more complicated there not enemies but they weren't exactly close best friends like him and tails the echidna look at the 2 and simply let out a "hmph" and turn away from them.
" whats the matter with him" amy question
knuckles gazed at the smoke from the robots sonic destroyed.
" overkill just like always" said knuckles
the base was undergoing lockdown all of the interior doors are closing inside the main room of the base dr robotnik's hench man robots decoe and bocoe are looking at a radar.
" dr robotnik the facility is on 100% lock down" decoe said to his master the doctor was watching the radar from the background he growled in anger.
"why does that accursed hedgehog always get in the way of my goals" dr robotnik said in anger.
" why else dr robotnik its because you keep doing bad things" the comment came from a 6 year old rabbit name cream who along with her small friend cheese the chao was trapped in a glass sphere
" oh is that so well its too late to stop me this time once i insert the last chaos emeralds into my new machine i'll be invincible" said the doctor
" but what does that have to do with me why did you kidnapped me in all those other mobians" cream asked there a security camera that shows frighten mobians trapped in jail cells
dr robotnik turn his back from cream" its quite simple cream...you know it didn't need to be this way but you rodents brought it on yourselves you could have accepted me as your new ruler and i could have made your world in a more civilized and grandeur place...sigh but no" robotnik then slammed his hand on the glass spear making cream and cheese flinch
" you rodents always gotta make it difficult you always keep fighting back and rebelling against me" the dr said angrily
" which is why i created a new machine i call it THE ROBOTICIZER and once i use it on the people of this world not only will you stop fighting against me you'll want me to be your ruler that why i kidnapped you and all those other people i needed test subjects" said dr robotnik
" chao chao" cheese said
" that's right sonic won't let you get away with this" said cream
unaware to robotnik and cheese rouge a seductive bat who was a master class thief was perched on an overhead ledge taking in the scene
" HAHAHAHA not this time creamy dreamy and since you decided to run your mouth you and cheese get to be the first test subjects" said dr robotnik
cream gasped and cheese hug her in fear
just then the wall broke down and once the dust settled sonic was revealed
" sonic" cream said happily he got here just in time
the doctor was surprised" sonic he said but his surprised look turn into an evil grin" your too late" he said he place the chaos into the slot of the machine and press various buttons and then hold a button
" you"ll never stop me now sonic HAHA one push of this button and all those prisoners will be under my control" said dr robotnik
sonic smirked" what prisoners" he said the dr was confused by this he look at the security cameras and was shocked that the jail cells were empty and the robots guarding them were destroyed.
"w-well i still have cream one move from you and i'll push this button and she's yesterdays news" said dr robotnik
" yeah if you can push it before i grab it" said sonic
the dr grinned when he saw metal sonic appear behind sonic
" why don't you give it a try metal sonic destroy him" the dr commanded
" with pleasure " said metal sonic
metal sonic started firing at sonic who escape his attacks with ease rouge cringes as stray lasers hit her near her hiding spot
" don't let him get away stop him no matter what" robotnik demanded
but sonic landed right in front of the doctor as metal sonic was about to fire missiles at him
" whaaa! no hold your fire" said robotnk
sonic leap out of the way just as metal shot the missiles robotnik duck unaware that the missiles hit the energy amplifier he stood up and reach for the switch.
" Ha here we go" said the dr he pressed the button but i surprised to see that the machine is crackling and riddled with missile holes
the doctor was surprised" Whaa! what have you done"
everyone look in shocked as the strange energy build inside the machine then suddenly a massive field of light spawns from the machine and pulsates outward enveloping everyone in its brightness outside the base tails, amy, and knuckles were watching the freed mobians run past them but the bright light that escapes the base was getting bigger and it caught there attention.
tails look in at the light in confusion
" what...is that" amy questioned
"...chaos control" knuckles responded
the bright light engulf the 3 of them including big the cat.
sonic woke up in complete darkness he sits up and rub his head
" man i must have passed or something" he said to himself suddenly he saw 2 bright lights heading towards him
" whoa!" he said as he dodge them he then he notice another pair of lights coming his way he then realized his surroundings there is a car right in front of him with a surprised driver inside sonic gasped as he realized he is surrounded by vehicles in the center of a 4 way intersection then he realized he in the midst of a large city.
" where the heck am i" sonic said to himself he saw there were tons of human staring at him weirdly
" what are they staring at" said sonic
along with the citizens a couple of police officers were staring at sonic
" what the heck is that thing" said police officer 1
" i don't know...should we kill it" police officer 2 suggested
" what! no it hasn't even done anything sigh okay look let me just try talking to it" said police officer 1 as he approached sonic.
" uh hey buddy how ya doing welcome to station square want to ride with us to the station" said officer
" should i call for back up" officer 2 asked
" relax i have a 3 cats at home i think i can handle this" said police officer 1
sonic crossed his arms and glared at the guy
" see that he's got an attitude a bad one" said police officer 2
" yeah well he won't get away from me" said police officer 1 he tries to grab sonic only for sonic to quickly sidestep and the officer fell on this face
" what the why you little" said officer 2 just then another officer with a mustache showed up
" take it easy i think we can handle this without getting rough" said police officer 3
" i agree sir" said police officer 1
" alright get behind him" said police officer 3
" right sarge" the other police men replied
sonic now find himself surrounded by police he rolled his eyes
" oh brother" sonic muttered
" okay now when i say the word were all gonna jump at him at once all right everybody ready..lets do it" sage commanded just then police men jumped on sonic unaware that he flew past them the last minute he sat on one of the cars and watch the officers wrestle each other.
" okay sarge i think i got one of his legs" said officer 1
" and i got him around the neck" said officer 2
" all right lets pull him out at the count of 3 1, 2, 3" said the sarge
all the officer pull they were actually pulling each other which send them into a spin making them dizzy
sonic snickered but then suddenly a net was plopped over his head
" don't worry sarge i got" said another police officer
" bad choice dude" said sonic just then he took off running dragging the officer with him the other officer grab onto the neck only for them also get dragged another police car came down the road and came to a screeching halt sonic jump over the car and the officers all got stuck in the car one of the officers then picked up a radio" attention all units a blue hedgehog is headed north on central street shut down all through fares leading into and out of a station square and set up a road block just before the on ramp to 101"
we cut to sonic who was running down a highway
" i don't know how i got here but i gotta find a way to get out the people here are weird" sonic thought to himself
meanwhile behind sonic the 2 police officers who first talk to him were in a car chasing him
" when i get my hands on that hedgehog i use his fur to make me a new sweater" said officer 2
" now hold on lets no be so hard on him he hasn't even harm anyone" said officer 1
officer 2 chuckled" typical tom wazowski you always been such a softy" said officer 2
" that's just how i roll man and besides the road up ahead is block he won't be getting away" said officer 1
back to sonic he saw a helicopter light flash onto him he look up ahead and saw the road was blocked by police officers, cars, and several barriers
" its over hedgehog you can't get under us or around us you won't be getting past us" an officer shouted
sonic smirked" wanna bet" he said he then easily clears it with one big jump
the helicopter pilot above saw this and face palm" oh boy headquarters is gonna love this" he said sarcastically he then contacted head" um boss i'm afraid the road blocked didn't work"
" don't tell me it got it through" his boss said on the radio
" uhhhh...okay" said the helicopter pilot just then another voice took the radio
" hahahaha alright you guys did your best but i think me in the speed team will take it from here" said a cocky voice
we cut to sonic who was sitting on a street light staring at the moon
he had a flashback of the chaos control he looks down at the scenery and frowns
" i guess chaos control must have sent me here. and i travel through space and time too...am i the only one here?...are the others...gone" he thought he closed his eyes in sadness before standing up
" well guess i'll find out soon enough" he was about to run down the road but then suddenly he saw lights up ahead coming towards him it was 5 race cars they stopped one of the drivers step out of the vehicle he was an adult male with orange hair and was wearing a red jumpsuit.
" hi there you're a hard hog to keep" said the man
sonic look at the guy curiously but he didn't have time to talk to him he had to find his friends he was about to walk away til the man stop him
" hey hold on" the man said as he remove his helmet
"we don't get such fast company very often in fact i'm glad you show up this pace is way too peaceful over the last 12 months iv'e only 1 arrest some joker got in into his head that he was a hotshot driver had his own formula one car and everything i guess he thought he'd give me a run for my money but it was all over in a minute took me longer to suit up" the man said
" does this guy ever stop talking" sonic was thinking
"he never had a chance of course its our own fault this town's dull mainly because of us you see were the high speed pursuit unit- The S-Team and i'm their leader names sam speed they call me the highway star and even if you think your the fastest thing around...think again" sam said with a smirk
" so the guy thinks he a big shot " sonic thought he smirked back" alright lets if he's the one he claims to be" sonic then takes off and S team follows
" run fast hedgehog i want to be the one to catch you" sam thought
the chase is on sonic is just able to stay one step ahead of the S-team
" heh the s- team eh? the s must stand for slow as hell ha ha!" said sonic the cars started to catch up to him" well well its starting to look like the rush hour
the s team vehicles drive up and soon have sonic boxed in
" oh no how will i ever escape" sonic said sarcastically "ha ha" he said he then leaps out from among the cars the drivers look around wondering where he went
" where did he go did we run him over" a s team member said he heard a tap and he saw that sonic was on his vehicle
" hey you this is dangerous, its irresponsible what happens if kids start trying this " said the s team member
" well considering this fanfic and not a overly censoring but also over hated kids programming block i don't need to worry about sending bad messages to kids" said sonic he then leaps off the car and takes off the road
" you not gonna treat the s- team like jokes and i'll teach you a lesson for breaking the 4th wall boost all wings 5 degrees and lets get this guy" said the s team member
" roger" said the other members the wings on each car adjust allowing the cars to drive even faster nearing 300 mph
" full throttle wha...?" said the s team member his eyes widen when he saw sonic us running backwards in front of him with a smirk
" what the how can..its playing with us...w-where this thing come from c-chief you gotta do something" said a s team member
sam was already on his way playtime is officially over attention all units open the center line" he said the s-team members move to either side of the highway to allow sam to drive through
" i didn't think i'd have to do this but i have no choice i will not have anybody faster than me on my highway" said sam he then pressed the corresponding button and his car tears past the rest of his team at about 400 mph and even passes a surprised sonic
" heh the only way he can beat me now is if he goes supersonic" said sam
as if on cue sonic runs right up and teas off at the speed of sound creating a sonic boom in the process
" a sonic boom! he's moving faster than the speed of sound" sam said with a surprised voice
" chief your running out of road"
sam blink in surprised he deploys his parachutes to slow him down and slam on the brakes sonic sees the end of the road as well he zooms off the edge of the cliff he flies by a wind farm making the turbines spin wildly thus making the city glow more brightly than usual sonic takes in the sight
" beautiful view maybe this place isn't so bad at least i know somebody i can have fun with he was quite amusing cocky, and loves going fast felt like looking at a human version of me its a shame if he wasn't hired to capture me i think he and i could've been cool friends" sonic thought unaware that sam was standing at the edge of a cliff watching him
sonic look down and his eyes widen when he saw he was gonna land in a pool he then look at the reader sheepishly " crap" he said he tries to run in the air but failed" see ya" he said he landed in the water making a large splash the pool belong to a large mansion and the large splash woke up one of the residents of the mansion he put on his slippers and went to investigate
sonic landed the pool he tried to leap out but can't he saw a ladder he tried to run to it but couldn't he was starting to panic he was about to run out of air but then suddenly a hand grabbed his arm pulls him out of the pool
" that was close are you okay" the stranger asked
sonic coughed violently" uh...yeah cough cough..thank you" he responded, he looked at the person who rescued him it was a human boy( look about 13 years old) he had ginger hair, blue eyes, and was wearing blue pajamas he look at sonic curiously
" i didn't know you could talk" said the boy
" i can do a lot of things" said sonic
" wow that's awesome uh that you can talk i mean my name's christopher but you can just call me chris do you have a name" chris asked
sonic smiled" yeah i have a name. my name is sonic the hedgehog
