Lucy Heartfilia - Lucy Dreyar. She was known by both. Her grandfather, Makarov Dreyar had adopted her legally when his own son, decided to murder his sister and husband in cold blood one night. Lucy was only five when that happened. Her name was kept out of the papers, due to her being a minor and Makarov didn't want that attention for her. He wanted her to be strong. Laxus, who was only fifteen at the time, was abandoned by his own father because his own Aunt had married into the rich family of the Heartfilia family. Laxus wasn't mad at the fact that his cousin was rich - no. He was mad at Ivan for killing his favorite Aunt. Layla had treated Laxus like her own son when he was over. He was beyond pissed that Lucy didn't have her mother anymore. At the gravesite, Laxus promised Layla and Jude that he would always watch over Lucy no matter what.
Lucy was in a dark place until she discovered music. It helped her and she was happy again. Well, not by much, but she was kind of. Music made her relax and opened her up to the world. The one thing that her mother left Lucy was magic. She was going to be a great wizard. She practiced in secret, because she knew that Makarov was still sore about losing his daughter. There, of course, Makarov knew about the magic that Lucy was carrying, Celestial Magic. Her mother had three golden keys and when Laxus went out on jobs with his team, he would bring back home more. They were rare, but they made her happy as she loved the idea of having more friends. Friends. They were her friends, not shields.
Sometime ago, when Lucy was fourteen, she was able to access transformation magic and she snuck out of the house one day, to go try out for the new singing competition. Of course, she knew that she was going to win. She didn't use her real name - who would do that and if they ever found out who she was - well, that would raise some flags. Lucy went under the one name she would remember - Celeste. Only because it would remind her that no matter where she was, the stars, her mother, her father, would always look down on her. Celeste. It was nice.
"NOW THE ONE AND ONLY - SHINNING CELESTE!"
The crowd cheered for the singer. Lucy under the transformation magic, walked onto the stage smiling brightly. She was sixteen now, she became popular pretty fast. Right now, she was in Hargeon. It was her last performance before heading back home to Magnolia. Makarov and Laxus were the only two to find out Lucy's little secret after she left home one day to go to the recording studio. No one else figured it out. Laxus - well, Dragon Slayer Magic. As much as you use transformation magic, you could never really hide your real scent. Lucy smiled as she walked up to the mic.
"Hey there Hargeon!" Lucy called out. "I hope you are all ready to listen to my new single that will be released tomorrow!"
Makarov said that she could tour for two years - but she had to still do school work. Then when she hit sixteen she had to stay home so she could go to school. Laxus was even putting his foot down because he said that he hated the fact that he couldn't be there for her. Protect her. It was his promise to Layla and Jude. He wanted to make sure that he kept it. Lucy made the promise - as a Celestial Wizard you have to keep your promises. No one ever dare broke a promise - not knowing what would happen. Some research says that if a Celestial wizard made a promise, and they broke it, well, they would lose their contracts and will not be able to form new ones.
Lucy waited for the music to start up - everyone was waiting for her new song. Break, Beat, Bark. It was one of Lucy's favorite songs that she wrote.

At the end of the song, Lucy waved to the crowd. "Have a great day!" She walked off the stage and quickly made her way to a secret area where she could transform back into her - original self. She had to catch the train back to Magnolia. Today was the day that she was going to get her guild mark. Lucy grabbed her bag and ran all the way to the train station - stopping when she heard, a name.
Salamander.
Lucy stopped as she wondered who it was. She walked over and saw someone.
"OH MY GOD! IT'S SALAMANDER!" A girl screamed.
Lucy made her way through the crowd, something about this was dangerous -though someone else caught her eye. She turned around from the spot that the "Salamander" was at and she stopped as she saw a guy with Pink hair - wait - Pink? She decided to walk over to him, hoping that he could help her in a way.
"Hey!" Lucy shouted at the pink haired guy, who was walking next to a blue cat.
"Blue cat? Pink hair? Something about that - is familiar."
"Who? Me?" The guy asked as he turned around and looked at him.
"Yeah, you." She muttered as she looked at him.
He walked closer to her, something about his appearance - it was familiar. "Do I know you?" He asked - looking at the girl. He thought really hard, but nothing came to mind.
"N-no. Bu-but I'm kind of lost...and I don't know how to get back to the train station." She half-lied.
His face turned green at the mentioned of Train.
"Natsu! You aren't even on a train!" The cat said.
"YOU SPEAK!?" Lucy looked at the cat.
"Aye! I'm Happy! This is Natsu." The cat - Happy said.
"Okay...now I'm pretty sure Laxus has mentioned someone named Natsu..." Lucy thought.
"You wouldn't happened to be in Fairy Tail, right?" Lucy thought outloud.
"Uh, who wants to know?" Natsu said as he shook his head looking at the blonde.
"I'm on my way there...I made a promise to someone there." Lucy spoke.
"Yeah, I'm Natsu Dragneel. You are?"
"Lucy..." She was unsure of which last name to use - her name was legally changed to Dreyar. Though at heart, she knew she would always be a Heartfilia.
"So, Looney, you have a last name?" He asked.
"It's Lucy...and I do - I'll tell you one day." She giggles.
"Yeah, Yeah, Lugi. I'm done here anyways. The one I was looking for was a fake anyways. Damn it." Natsu growled, knowing that he was going to have kick someones ass.
"Who are you looking for?" Lucy asked.
"Igneel." Happy chimed in.
"Igneel? What an interesting name." Lucy hummed as she looked at him.
"He's a dragon." Natsu muttered.
"A-A d-d-dragon?" Lucy was shocked. She was sure that dragons didn't exist.
