Pilot:

"Kris, we better get moving!" A blonde haired middle-aged woman shouted. The woman shouting to the person named Kris was carrying her bags into a Audi Q3 45 S-line Premium. Behind the Audi Q3 45 S-line Premium is a moving truck, which mostly contained the refrigerator, bedroom furniture, a plasma screen TV, living room furniture, dining hall furniture, and other house furniture and amenities.

"I'm coming, Amanda. Sometimes, you got to learn to relax," Kris said, coming down the mahogany stairs.

"Just call me S'Mom, alright. And need I remind you, we're on a tight schedule," Amanda said.

"Well, hate to say it Kris, but I have to be with my mom on this one. We're on a tight schedule," a blonde haired teenage girl said.

"You're right. My bad for my lax attitude, S'Mom," Kris said.

When Kris stepped outside the house, Kris walked towards his Audi wearing a backpack containing his iMac Pro, portable DVD player, iPad 10th generation, Apple Pencil, journal, ink pens, hygienic, and personal care products.

"The man who apologized to his stepmother after listening to his stepsister is Krishna "Kris" Yadav, a 16-year old Indian-American from Palo Alto, California moving to Los Angeles, California. Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself. As 7-time Super-Bowl Champion, 5-time Superbowl MVP, and holder of numerous major NFL records as a quarterback, this is former NFL quarterback Tom Brady coming to you live," the narrator said.

Pictures of Tom Brady and clips of his memorable highlights are being shown for a few seconds.

"I'll cut to the chase on why I'm narrating the tale of this young man. I relate to him in a lot of ways. He played football as a tight end and middle linebacker for the Palo Alto Vikings. He perseveres in anything he does and proves people wrong. Also, He's also a child of divorce, much like my kids with Gisele," Tom Brady said. "His tale began when his biological parents, Lohith and Rhyah, who were best friends since childhood, got married back in 2000 at Austin, Texas. A few years later, they moved to LA, where they first gave birth to Nirdesh, also known as Des. A year later, Kris was born."

Marriage clips of Lohith and Rhyah's marriage and baby pictures of Des and Kris play during the narration.

"When Des and Kris were in middle school, Lohith and Rhyah decided to go for an amicable divorce due to differences in career paths, leading Des and Rhyah to stay in LA and Kris and Lohith to move to Palo Alto. Kris chose to stay with Lohith because he felt more closer to his father than his mother," Tom Brady narrated. "When Kris and Lohith moved to Palo Alto, they met Amanda Killian and her daughter Caitlyn. Kris and Caitlyn became really close friends and were into the same things in life as well. In a span of 2 years, Lohith and Amanda were in a relationship and decided to get married."

Clips of Lohith and Rhyah's divorce, Kris choosing to be in the custody of his father, and Lohith's remarriage to Amanda Killian were shown during the narration.

"After Lohith was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, he had neurosurgery performed to remove the tumor. As a neurosurgeon himself, Lohith felt it was scary to get a brain tumor removal from another doctor. Learning about Lohith's brain tumor scared Kris and the fear of losing his father inspired him to seriously think about pursuing a career in medicine. But football, has always been his dream. Hell, his favorite NFL team's the 49ers," Tom Brady stated.

A clip of Lohith being taken to the operating room and getting brain surgery afterwards is shown.

"With Amanda's career as an entertainment lawyer requiring her to move to LA, Kris had no option but to do so as Lohith has also started getting chemotherapy at UCLA Medical Center. Let's see how Kris's life changes when he moves back to LA," Tom Brady narrated.

—- Scene Break —-

While the Audi van and the moving truck arrived at Los Angeles, they headed to a mansion bought by Amanda on Alden Drive. While Kris was surprised by the size of the mansion, he wasn't sure about seeing his mother and brother after a few years.

"Normally, I'd be amazed by how huge the house is. But I'm more concerned about running into my brother and mother," Kris said when he saw the 8 bed, 4 bath, Mediterranean-styled house. "When is cousin Deepthi coming?"

"Oh, your dad's with her. He's helping her move into her room at our house. Don't you remember?" Amanda reminded.

"Shoot, I forgot. I guess that 7-hour long drive from the Bay to LA is mind-numbing," Kris replied.

"At least, it'll be a nice start. I mean, we're living in Beverly Hills right now. It doesn't get any better than this," Caitlyn said. "Although, I'll miss the memories of living in the Bay for most of my life."

"We got 3 week before we start school. Wanna scope out LA tomorrow?" Kris asked. "I mean, we must be tired from all that traveling."

"Well, I could use a tour guide who knows LA In-N-Out. Get it? In-N-Out?" Caitlyn said while making a pun.

"Sounded a little lame but I'm gonna commend you for your effort, Caitlyn. Not bad. You almost got me," Kris said. "Anyhow, let's unpack. We have a long day of organizing to do."

Clips of the Beverly Hills area play for a few seconds before moving onto a 2-second clip of the Mediterranean house they moved into.

Kris, Amanda, Caitlyn, Lohith, and Kris's cousin Deepthi were having dinner, which is a large Domino's Memphis BBQ Chicken Pizza.

"Well, not gonna lie, getting takeout was a smart option. We don't even have groceries," Amanda said after she took a bite of pizza from Domino's Pizza. "So, Kris, I'd like to join Caitlyn and your father on a tour around the city. I know it's been a few years since you moved out of LA, but I don't want to look like a fish out of the water. Know what I mean?"

"If it wasn't clear already, Amanda lived in the Bay Area her whole life. Born in Santa Clara, she went to Wlicox High. After graduating from Wilcox High, she attended San Jose State for her undergrad and attended law school at UC Berkeley. She had been to a few cities outside of the Bay Area before for lawyer and sightseeing purposes, but she didn't expect to move to a different city because of her job."

"So, who're you working for?" Lohith asked. "I know you mentioned it's an entertainment lawyer based on LA."

"Oh, he's Andy Samberg's lawyer. And I swear that I also saw Bradley Cooper," Amanda replied. "I wanted to ask him for an autograph but he was gone."

A startled Lohith was surprised. "You saw Bradley Cooper?! And you didn't get an autograph?!"

"Ok, uncle Lohith. We get it. You're a huge fan of the male lead of Silver Linings Playbook," Deepthi said. "Anyhow, thanks for inviting me over for dinner. I know you guys just moved into the house."

"Oh, it's my pleasure, Deepthi," Amanda said. "How're you settling into USC so far?"

"It's okay. I've seen the campus a little more than the time I took a tour around USC. Classes don't start until 3 days," Deepthi replied.

"Oh, I forgot to mention, Deepthi is Kris and Des's paternal cousin from India. While she may look sweet, kind, and studious, she's also a party animal, outgoing, and very modern. And I have to say, she's too beautiful and smart to be a grad student at USC studying business administration," Tom Brady narrated.

"You plan on staying in the US permanently or are you going back to India after your degree?" Kris asked.

"Nah, I'm staying in the States permanently. After my degree, I plan to work in the States," Deepthi answered.

"Well, I sure can respect that. Also, your parents have asked me to look into finding a potential suitor for you," Lohith said. "I don't know if you want to get married, but your parents insisted that I look for a suitable male. You don't have to give your answer now. Just think about it."

"Deepthi was silent. Knowing her uncle had given her liberty to think about it, Deepthi was headstrong on not getting married until she settled in a good position in her career. That way, no guy would be good enough for her," Tom Brady narrated.

"I'll think about it. Why'd they tell you first but not me?" Deepthi inquired.

"Well, to be fair, your parents feel like they don't know what type of guy you like. Even though they've asked you what type of guy you're interested in, you've never opened up to them. Do you have someone in your mind?" Lohith asked.

"Are you kidding me?! Hell no!" Deepthi reacted furiously when she stood up from her chair. "How could you even ask me that?"

Lohith and Amanda were shocked at Deepthi's reaction. Having had many experiences with anger, Lohith was certain there was someone in Deepthi's heart as Deepthi was angry for no reason.

Seeing the surprised reaction on everyone's faces, Deepthi realizes the nonverbally let the cat out of the bag. She calmly sat down and composed herself. She then began to open up.

"Alright, there's this guy that I liked when I was studying back in UChicago for my undergrad. His name's Prashant. He's a doctoral engineering student. We were together for about 3 years. When I popped the question, he politely declined. I wasn't hurt that he rejected me," Deepthi said, opening up. "But I was hurt when he gave me a stupid reason for turning me down. He decided to marry the woman his parents picked for him."

"No doubt that Prashant's a momma's boy. It's funny that Indian families tend to choose brides who act like the mother of the prospective groom. And to add on to that, it's a little uncomfortable," Kris commented.

"Thank you. I swear to God if I see Prashant again, I'm gonna kick him in the nuts in front of his potential wife," Deepthi said. "I know violence is never the answer, but you got to admit, it's easier to release anger that way."

"It's not the right way to deal with anger, but I appreciate you being honest with yourself," Lohith commended. "Anyway, new topic. Kris, you gonna play football at Beverly? I met with the coach a few days ago. He's alright. You got to get your concussion baseline tests done. So you can get medical authorization to play. First thing tomorrow, go to the school and take your concussion baseline tests."

"What about the tour around LA for Amanda and Caitlyn?" Kris asked.

"That's after. In the meantime, why don't we watch a movie? What do you wanna watch?" Lohith asked.

"I'm in for sci-fi or action thriller," Kris said.

"I'm with Kris," Caitlyn said.

"Ditto on sci-fi," Amanda said.

"I'm good with action-thriller," Deepthi said.

"Alright, how about Blade Runner 2049?" Lohith said.

After watching Blade Runner 2049, Lohith and the others fell asleep.

—- Timelapse of a sunrise happening around LA —-

When Kris and Caitlyn arrived at Beverly Hills High School for various reasons, they decided to check out the school first. As Caitlyn decided to check out the performing arts facilities, Kris and Caitlyn agreed to meet up for the LA tour after they finished their respective tasks at Beverly Hills High. Afterwards, they split.

While walking through the corridors of Beverly Hills, Kris saw a few guys lining up for some reason. Deducing it's for the concussion baseline test, Kris decided to ask what the line is for further confirmation.

"As Kris walked towards the line, he wondered what the line was for," Tom Brady narrated as Kris was walking to the back of the line.

When Kris reached the back of the line, he met a tall blond haired blue-eyed man who was standing in front of him. The blond man turned around and saw Kris, a man of average height with an athletic build, chocolate colored skin complexion, and black eyes

"I haven't seen you around here. You new?" the blond male teen asked.

"Yes," Kris responded nervously.

"Name's Jared. Tight end and team captain," the blond man said, introducing himself.

"Hello Jared. I'm Krishna and you can me Kris," Kris said introducing himself to Jared. "I play tight end and linebacker."

"Well, we need people on the linebacker spot for depth. If you're pretty good, you might be the starter," Jared said.

"That remains to be seen," Kris said with modesty.

"If I'm being real with you, you're a pretty humble for an Indian dude," Jared said.

"Although he took offense when Jared said 'pretty humble for an Indian dude," Kris kept his cool to leave a positive first impression," Tom Brady said, narrating Kris's thoughts.

"Not to sound rude or impolite, what was that supposed to mean?" Kris asked in a cool manner.

"Oh, my bad if my words were insulting to you. It's just that the Indian-American student association around here is proudly geeky. The only thing they're obsessed with is getting strong grades and taking many extracurriculars as they can. If it were, I'd choose extracurriculars that I'm passionate about," Jared explained.

"That makes a lot of sense," Kris said, having got the answer he needed. "I'm not gonna lie. I've seen millions of Indian girls who're into white dudes and presume that all Indian dudes are computer geeks or cheesy club rats who wear too much cologne."

This made Jared laugh.

"Alright man. After you get your test done, I'mma introduce you to the squad," Jared said.

"Sounds cool with me," Kris replied.

When they took their concussion baseline test, which was mostly focused on concentration and memory using words, colors, shapes, and letters. After taking the test, they've passed.

When they passed their concussion baseline test, Kris and Jared handed in their respective physicals to the athletic director of the Beverly Hills High athletic program. After doing so, Jared introduced Kris to the football team.

"Hey guys, this guy's name is Kris," Jared said, introducing Kris to the football team.

"What's good, guys? I'm Kris," Kris said when he introduced himself.

When the team was silent, Kris asked, "Was I supposed to say more?"

This led the football team to lightly laugh.

"Sup, Kris? I'm Marcus. Running Back," a male African-American teen introduced himself.

"I'm Oliver Joo, wide receiver," a Korean-American teen said.

"I'm Peter Rodriguez, defensive tackle," a bulky Mexican-American teen said.

As he met multiple team players who are of various ethnicities, he felt like the odd man out as he saw there were no Indians on the team.

"So I'm like the first Indian-American on the team?" Kris inquired.

"Well, yeah. We often don't get many Indian-Americans teens to play for us. They often tend to veer towards the academic side like robotics and/or debate," Oliver said. "Actually, I forgot. There's another Indian-American on the team, but he's not here today."

"What's his name?" Kris asked, feeling a little better and less anxious.

"His name's Pranav Dhulipala. He's our kicker," Oliver replied. "If you're wondering why he isn't here, he's taking the SATs today. He's a junior."

"When can I meet him?" Kris asked.

"In a few days. After all, a kicker doesn't do much rather than score field goals and PATs," Jared said.

"Feeling that Jared and the football team is somewhat belittling Indian-Americans, Kris kept his cool as he knows he should lash out when they make him do something that's against his personality," Tom Brady narrated.

While they hung out on the football field by playing flag football 11-on-11s, Kris found himself enjoying the company of his teammates as they had fun playing. However, he couldn't consider them his friends as they seemingly belittled Indian-Americans.

After their flag football game, they went out to eat at Beverly Hills Cookies for a quick bite.

While they talked about who's currently the best player on the NFL, Kris and his teammates had various opinions.

"Yo, Mahomes is the modern GOAT of QBs, alright? He's mobile, pass 1st, shifty, and crafty as fuck! End of discussion," a brown haired, blue eyed teammate said.

"Yo, McCaffrey's the best overall RB. He can catch, run through defenders, and make plays," Oliver said.

"Yo, Derrick Henry can run through defenders and is built like a rock!" Peter said.

"I get that, but Dalvin Cook can do that too," an African-American player of average height said.

"Leonard, he's old bro. Not to mention Playoff Lenny," Oliver commented.

"Is that a dig towards me?" Leonard asked as he took slight offense to Oliver's comment.

"Says the dude who's a fan of a running back who has the same name as him. He has a Super Bowl ring because of Brady man!" Oliver stated.

"Exactly! Brady's the best QB of all time! End of discussion. Sure, he's old right now, but he pulled off wonders at 42 years of age with the Buccaneers. Such resilience can't be found among players at a young age except for Mahomes. Not to mention that Mahomes has a long way to go before being compared to the GOAT," Kris said.

"What?" the brown haired and blue-eyed teammate said with astonishment. "Yo, the man knows his facts!"

"Oh, please Kevin! Just admit that you're a Brady fan like Kris," Jared said.

"Alright, I'll admit it," Kevin said.

"The man who admitted to being a Brady fan is Kevin Lordan, a rising senior student and starting quarterback for the Beverly Hills Trojans. This is the guy that's expected to take the Trojans to the State Championship," Tom Brady narrated while introducing Kevin to the viewer.

After their hangout at Beverly Hills Cookies, Kris headed back to his new home. As he opened the front door, he noticed it was empty. When he walked inside, he saw no one was there on the ground floor. When he walked over to the fridge to pour some juice, he saw a Post-It note from Amanda on the fridge saying, "Out on retail therapy. We'll be back at 5 pm for the tour."

Taking that into account, Kris poured some orange juice for himself. As he drank, he heard small sounds of moans coming from upstairs. Believing that Caitlyn's doing something sexual, Kris was slightly disgusted.

"If you wonder what he's gonna do, Kris's actually going to knock on Caitlyn's door 3 times, much like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. Only this time, it's more appropriate," Tom Brady narrated.

When Kris walked upstairs, the sounds of the moans kept getting stronger and louder. At the door of Caitlyn's room, Kris knocked three times.

"Caitlyn! Caitlyn! Caitlyn!" Kris said while knocking on her door three times.

When Caitlyn opened the door, she looked frustrated.

"What? Didn't we agree that we'd use the 3-knock rule if any of us were hooking up with someone?" Caitlyn questioned with an annoyed tone.

A male voice was heard from Caitlyn's room, "Who is it?"

With Kris amused with Caitlyn's lie being exposed, Caitlyn's face was flushed with embarrassment.

"You were saying?" Kris said with a smirk on his face.

"Paxton, it's my step-brother, Kris," Caitlyn said, feeling embarrassed over her step-brother catching her in the act.

"Who's Paxton?" Kris asked.

"Well, there's an app like Tinder but for teenagers and I downloaded it 2 months before mom announced that we're moving to LA," Caitlyn said as she began. "When I finished creating my profile, I was getting a few decent matches and that's how I met Paxton. We chatted through the app and started dating online. When I told him that I was moving to LA, we decided to meet up. Ergo, the meetup led to a hookup."

Kris was baffled that there was a Tinder-like app for teenagers.

When "Paxton" came out of Caitlyn's bathroom, Kris was at awe. With a strong jawline, high cheekbones, dark wavy brown hair, brown eyes, and an overall fit and athletic body, Kris saw that Caitlyn had great taste in guys based on looks.

"Damn. Even I couldn't look that good," Tom Brady commented while narrating. "It's like people say: genetic diversity brings out the best of us."

"Wait, he's your step-brother?" Paxton questioned when he saw Kris.

"Well, don't let my ethnicity and dark skin fool you. And to be honest, I get that a lot from people in general," Kris quipped with confidence. "And frankly, you seem kind of biased."

Paxton was slightly surprised over the fact that Kris wasn't intimidated. Seeing a man radiated with confidence while having looks that are about a 8/10, Paxton saw that he wasn't awkward.

"To be honest, man, I didn't believe Caitlyn when she told me that she had an Indian-American for a step-brother. I thought she was joking to make herself look interesting. It's my fault I didn't believe her," Paxton said.

"It's cool, man. To be frank, you're like one of the first people who didn't make any judgmental remarks towards me or people of my ethnicity," Kris said.

"You seem alright to me, Kris. I heard you and Caitlyn just moved to LA. You guys want a tour around the city?" Paxton asked.

"Sure. I actually lived in LA for most of my life before me and my dad moved to Palo Alto. Caitlyn and I were neighbors when we first met. As a result, that's how my dad and Caitlyn's mom met," Kris said.

"Looks like your way around LA," Paxton said. "Still, I believe that you guys deserve a tour around LA. This time, I'll take you to places you've never even heard of."

Kris was impressed with not only Paxton's looks, but with his confidence as well.

When Kris and Caitlyn were getting ready to go with Paxton for their tour around LA, Kris felt Paxton's alright.

"When people say first days are always weird, they won't be able to say that about Kris's first back in LA," Tom Brady said.
