in The Gamer Festival

At Level Up Academy, the school is having it's annual festival, where the students get to play arcade games, eat foods, and have fun. Plus, it has it's tournament where students participate to compete each other with their avatars where the prize is a classroom improvement. Seems like a great thing.

Unless you're Owen Bzinak, Because he failed to pass his entrance exam he has to play the academy's game to improve his classroom of Class F.

"Are you excited for the tournament?" Pinkie asked Owen.

"You bet I am, and if I get first place, Class F would be a great place to visit." said Owen.

"Yeah, and I hope Connor doesn't do anything to ruin the festival." she said.

"Which Connor?" the good Connor asked.

"The evil one with the big bad meanie bugs."

"Can't we just call him Dark Connor." Owen suggested.

"OK, It is easy for us and for the people watching this." said Pinkie with a wink, which confuses Connor to wonder who Pinkie is talking too.

Later, the arena was packed by the students of the academy, and everyone is excited to see the game in action.

"Alright students, you know how this games goes." said Christopher through the microphone. "The faculty wants to see a good match, if you're an avatar. Let the match begin!" he declared. and everyone cheered.

But what they didn't know is that Dark Connor is watching afar in the trees like a camouflaged bug.

"Not if I have something to do about it." Dark Connor said with a smirk.

The tournament was on where the first match is Owen and Flash vs Lyra and Bon Bon.

"Ready!" they yelled.

Lyra's avatar is wearing gladiator armor, and has a sword, Bon Bon's avatar is wearing a unitard, and has an ax, and before Dark Connor took over the academy's EPB field, Flash's avatar wears gold armor, and has a sword.

Then the four avatars charged in to attack, Owen's avatar dodged a few slashes from Lyra's avatar, while Flash's avatar blocked the strikes from Bon Bon's avatar's sword with his. But neither of them are giving up, the two sides just have to win.

And then Owen's avatar did a combo attack, he punched Lyra's avatar a few times and then kicked her up in the air and he slashed the avatar with his daggers. And then he dove down and kicked Bon Bon's avatar, which causes both of their health meters to go down to zero.

"Owen Bzinak and Flash Sentry wins!" Christopher said, and the crowd cheered.

The next match is Owen and Flash vs Donna and Diamond Tiara.

"Alright, here we go." said Owen. As the two teams were about to battle, Christopher came onto the arena.

"Before we begin, there is one little girl who would like to talk to Owen Bzinak." said Christopher, then the screen turned on and it showed Tiana.

"Hi Silly Willy! I hope you win!" said Tiana.

Owen didn't want to upset her because she's younger than him, but he has to be nice.

"OK Tiana, I'll win!" said Owen, which causes Tiana to smile.

"Thank you, Silly Willy. And maybe after the festival we can get married!" she said. Which surprises both Donna and Diamond, but it shocked Owen, and the anger to the Non-Romance Club. Because they don't want girls in their lives.

"And then we can go on a honeymoon together, and have a nice dinner!" Tiana said.

And this causes jealousy to both Donna and Diamond.

"Oh my." said Upper Crust with a blush.

"Remind me not to get on their bad side." Connor said to Upper Crust.

"Something tells me, we should take this game serious." said Diamond.

"Yeah, no kidding." said Donna in agreement.

Now Owen is completely nervous about fighting those two girls who are now filled with jealousy.

"Alright, now that's settled. Let the match begin." Christopher called out. But before Owen can object, the match already began.

"Ready!" they yelled, and their avatars appeared. But before Dark Connor took over the EPB field Donna's avatar wears a blue musketeer outfit.

Then the girls' two avatars charged at Owen's avatar to attack, but he just avoided their strikes and tried to run away but they just chased after him. So Flash's avatar just tried to attack, but the girls' avatars just struck him down to the ground loosing a little bit of health.

"Flash!" Owen yelled. "You gotta help me!" he pleaded to Flash.

"I'm trying, use your head." Flash said to Owen.

Then Owen got an idea for once, Owen's avatar stopped running and turned back to the girls' avatars. He avoided their attacks and Owen's avatar wrapped his arms around their avatars.

"Quickly Flash, now!" said Owen.

Then Flash's avatar took out his sword and strike them with a powerful slash which causes the girls' avatars health reduce to zero, while Owen sacrificed his avatar.

"Owen Bzinak and Flash Sentry wins!" said Christopher.

Owen and Flash did a few more matches, and they ended up winning again, and again. But every once in a while they just enjoy the festival with their friends by playing the games and enjoying the meals. And yet they managed to finished the ninth match.

It was almost sunset, and everyone is eager to see the final match. And Owen was pumped up to win, not for himself, but for Class F.

"You sure are killing them aren't you Owen?" said Connor as he rubbed Owen's shoulders.

"Oh yeah, and I'm about to be the one who will beat Twilight and Sunset." Owen smirked.

"You do realize that I'm fighting them with you." Flashed raised his brow.

"True. But I'm still gone beat them." he said to Flash.

Later, it is time for the tenth and final match of the tournament, the match between Owen Bzinak and Flash Sentry vs. Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the tenth and final match is about to begin!" Christopher announced, and everyone cheered. "And the last player wins will earn the improvements of their class." he said.

The two teams stared at each other, and are ready to take action.

"Let the match begin!'

"Not without me!"

Everyone wondered where that voice came from, and to their shock are the Shadowbugs and Dark Connor appeared at the arena.

"I'm here to win this tournament." Dark Connor declared. "And if you don't like it, and you'll have to answer to me." he said as everyone fled the arena.

But Owen wasn't gonna let this, he can't let Dark Connor do this. Even if the tournament will get canceled after this and he won't win first place, he just can't let him hurt his friends.

"Alright!" yelled Owen. "I'll do it, I'll fight you." he said. And that bravery causes Dark Connor to smirk.

"Good." said Dark Connor.

The arena was packed by the worries of the audience, but not Owen because he's brave, stupid but brave. He wasn't gonna let Dark Connor get away with this.

"Ready!" they called and their avatars appeared.

Dark Connor's avatar charge to attack and ready to strike with his claws, but Owen's avatar avoided the incoming strike and slashed him with his daggers which depleted Dark Connor's avatar's health a little.

"Yes." Owen smiled.

But Connor's avatar grabbed Owen's avatar with his mandibles and shook him around and threw him in the air and landed on the ground. But Owen's avatar just got back up and tried to attack, but what Owen didn't know is that he got himself wide open, so Owen's avatar swing his dagger but Connor's avatar just ducked and then he slashed him with his claws that causes Owen's avatar to deplete 30% of his health.

"You should've been ten steps ahead of me." Dark Connor mocked. Then Owen's avatar just blocked a few of Dark Connor's avatar's attacks which slowly depleted his health.

Now Owen had to think fast, before he's a goner. And Owen got one.

"Hold it!" yelled Owen, and then suddenly, a box covered Owen's avatar much to Dark Connor's confusion.

"What are you doing?!" asked Dark Connor.

"I'm just leveling up my avatar." Owen explained. "Alright, I'm done." he said.

And the box opened itself to reveal Owen's avatar. But his avatar is now different, he's not wearing his jester costume but instead wearing a straightjacket. And then he got out of the restraints and took out two chainsaw swords, and he smiled like that madman Owen is.

"But how?!" Dark Connor questioned in perplexed.

"Easy. I just read the instructions." Owen answered with a smug.

Then Owen's avatar activated his swords, and he charged to attack. He strike Connor's avatar with force thanks to the rotating saws, and his health is depleting fast, Dark Connor was shocked to see that his strong avatar was getting beaten by one impossible idiot.

And then Owen's avatar raised both of his swords, and he strike Connor's avatar, and he fell down now that his health has been depleted to zero.

"Owen Bzinak, wins!" Christopher announced and everyone cheered.

"I can't believe it." Dark Connor said in shock. "I've been defeated by a flunky." he said, and he and the Shadowbugs retreated.

The next day after the festival, everyone is talking about Owen telling how amazing he was during the tournament. And as it turns out, that Owen managed to come in first place after all which earned his classroom improvements, but the only downside is... a whiteboard is a classroom improvement.

"All those matches, and what do we get. A whiteboard." Owen said in despair.

"Well what do you expect, you don't think we could improve an entire classroom. That'll be a waste of funding." said Christopher with a smile.
