Chapter 1

Four Chosen

Red. Some people relate this color with evil, blood and anger but for these four young heroes…red means justice and hope.

First of the heroes and soon be leader of the group was Leon Ford, a young boy at the age of seventeen with black hair with blue streaks, blue eyes and tan skin. Leon was considered a "gear head" among his friends and family due to his extensive knowledge of mechanics and technology alike, whether it was a car engine or a small computer chip he could fix it.

The second is another seventeen year old boy by the name of Michael Zarino, he had blondie short hair, lite black eyes that shined like obsidian and white skin. Michael is a major dinosaur enthusiast and was taking online classes in paleontology. Even at a young age he was considered a genius in the field.

Next is Arron McNight, again seventeen like his friends. He had long brown hair with natural golden streaks which was something he got from his dad's side and his eyes were shining jade green eyes. At a young age Arron was trained in the ways of the ninja by his mother's grandma and by the time he turned fifteen he was already a master.

The last of the chosen ones is Casey Bowmen Chen but unlike the rest of the group he was youngest since he was sixteen years old. He's natural hair color is brown but tends to keep it dyed red while he's eyes were a fine green. Casey is a slight bit of Asian due to his mother's side and his dad was American, but his parents were killed in a car accident when he was no more than five. Luckily for him he was adopted by another family, where they had him do volunteer work for the local church.

Now these four have been friends since childhood, heck they were born in the same hospital. Ever since the four meet they have had each other's back always but they all had one problem…kind of. You see during their time together they had attracted a lot of bullies and hoodlums, for what reason no one knew but whenever one of these bullies came at them it ended the same way…with their "bullies" beaten on the ground. You see due to so many fights centered on them they decided to take up martial arts training as to help defend themselves and others around them. In time they all gained their own level of mastery with Leon becoming a second degree black belt in Muay Thai, Michael was a MMA practitioner and Casey became a master of beast style kung Fu.

Yes these four have been through a lot together and has been for a long time, but soon these four will embark on a journey that will truly test them to their limits.

It was finally the beginning of summer break and four certain friends were excited for the event.

"I'll tell you guys, this going to epic!" Leon said

"For sure man and I think a certain someone has the event already planned" Michael said pointing a thumb at Arron

"Well I have a few ideas" Arron replied pulling out a small folded piece of paper from his back pocket

Unfolding it was revealed to show a long list of activities with the title saying "Summer Vacation of the Century".

"Wow, you really went all out dude" Casey said looking at the list over Arron's shoulder

"You bet, trust me this is going to be the best summer vacation we shall never forget!" Arron shouted as the others shouted as well in excitement.

"But first, we kick off the summer at this year's Comi-con!" Leon said pointing down the road

There in the distance they could see the resident convention center with tons of people walking in. Yes, despite their tendencies to get into fights from now and again all four of them were nerds at heart and embraced it.

"So everyone got it?" Leone asked the group

One by one everyone brought their special "cosplay" for the events, aka there replica morphers from their favorite T.V show, Power Rangers! For Leon he had an RPM Cell shift morpher from his favorite season of Power Rangers that being, well RPM. For Michael he brought his replica Dino Charge Morpher and a T-Rex charger. Arron had his Ninja Steel morpher and Red Ranger Power Star. Finally for Casey he brought his Beast Morpher morpher and cheetah key.

"Well, what are we all waiting for? Onward to fun!" Leon shouted as he and his friends ran to the convention.

Once they made it they were surrounded by all kinds of different Medias, from anime to games there was so much to see and do. Not to mention the amazing cosplayers even a few Power Rangers as well, but strangely there was a lot of people cosplaying characters from the anime Highschool DxD. Now the four of them were familiar with the series and had watched a few episodes, they found it good but never made it far. Then after a few hours they found the sun starting to set and they promised their parents to be back before night hit.

"Okay guys, it's time to pack it up" Leon said to the group as they nodded

"Alright then, were right behind you" Arron replied as he and the others packed up their stuff

But once the four were about to leave, Michael noticed a crying child just huddled up in the corner. Of course being the softy he is he then walked over to the kid to see what was wrong but strangely she looked like Ophis from DxD.

"Hey little girl, are you okay?" Michael asked, kneeling to the little girl but she didn't reply and just kept on crying

Frowning at this Michael then called Casey over to help, after all he was better at dealing with kids due to him working at the church. So Casey along with the rest came over to see if they can help the little girl.

"Hi sweetie, are you okay, are you lost?" Casey asked in a comforting tone

Suddenly however the girl then stopped crying and slowly looked up at the four friends and gave a small smile.

"Yes…I lost something, but now I found it" the little girl said in creepy tone

Suddenly the little girl then held open her hand causing a huge flash of light, causing the four to be blinded from the flash and by the time the light had faded all that was left was the small girl with a smile on her face.

"This is going to be fun."
