Amity Park

It is now 12 in the afternoon. A certain teenage boy was sitting on a park bench by himself and lets out a heavy sigh.

The boy had baby blue eyes and raven black hair. He wears a white T-shirt with a thin red collar, red cuffs, and a red oval in the middle. He also wears light blue jeans and red and white sneakers. His name is Danny Fenton.

"Man, I hate this. It's so boring. There's nothing much to do around here." Danny muttered.

The school was closed for the whole week due to the hallways being covered in meat, courtesy of the Lunch Lady. Danny however, wasn't having as much fun as he should be due to his friends being unavailable for the week.

Sam's parents dragged her to see their relatives in San Francisco. Apparently, her aunt was getting married and her entire family was invited as guests.

Tucker, on the other hand, was grounded by his parents due to his ludicrous internet bill...again.

His sister, Jazz, decided to head out to the library. When she invited him to come along, he insisted on taking a walk in the park by himself.

Because of that, Danny is now by himself at the park. He also didn't want to go home right away since his parents were testing out their new gadget. It became his and his sister's policy to stay away from the house when that happens.

"Man, this stinks. Sam's out of town, Tucker's grounded and Jazz is busy studying at the library." Danny thought in frustration.

"Isn't there anything exciting to do around here!?" Danny asked.

As if on cue, a blue wisp escaped his mouth, triggering his ghost sense.

Danny sighed. "Well, it's not like I have anything better to do anyway." He muttered.

He looked around to see if anybody else was nearby. When he noticed the coast was clear, he gets into a stance.

"I'M GOING GHOST!" Danny shouted.

Then, a white ring appeared around his midsection. The ring then splits into two, with one going up while the other went down. When the rings disappeared, Danny's whole appearance changed.

He now has snowy white hair and glowing neon green eyes. His skin tone also turned into a tan color. He's now wearing a black jumpsuit with a white collar, white gloves and white boots. He also has a white D symbol with a black P inside at his chest. This form is his alter ego, Danny Phantom; the ghostly hero of Amity Park.

After completing his transformation, Danny then flew up and started looking for the ghost.

"Okay. Who's the idiot this time?" Danny asked.

Suddenly...

"BEWARE!" Was heard.

Danny sighed. "Of course." He said.

He then turned around and saw where the voice came from, a short, chubby blue-skinned ghost that was wearing gray overalls.

"I AM THE BOX GHOST! THE ONE WHO CONTROLS EVERYTHING MADE OF CARDBOARD AND SQUARE!" The Box Ghost shouted.

"You again?" Danny asked. "...And here I was hoping for someone more challenging."

The Box Ghost heard this and took offense.

"DO NOT MOCK ME, GHOST CHILD, BECAUSE I HAVE BROUGHT THE KEY TO YOUR DEMISE! BEHOLD, THE WRAPPING PAPER...OF DOOM!" Box Ghost shouted, holding up a roll of blue wrapping paper.

Danny blinked in confusion and he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.

"Seriously? Wrapping paper!? That's the best you could come up with!?" Danny asked in an incredulous tone.

The Box Ghost frowned when his opponent underestimated him.

"YOU SHALL NOW WITNESS THE AMAZING POWER OF MY WRAPPING PAPER!" The Box Ghost shouted as he charged forward.

The Box Ghost then started flying all around Danny, wrapping him with the paper in the process. As soon as he's finished, Danny was now completely wrapped in the blue paper.

"HA! I HAVE DONE IT! I HAVE CAUGHT DANNY PHANTOM!" The Box Ghost proudly stated.

Danny just rolled his eyes. He decided to stop humoring The Box Ghost, so he turned himself intangible and easily phased out of the wrap. He then sent The Box Ghost and unimpressed look.

"You were saying..." Danny said.

The Box Ghost blinked.

"Now, where were we?" Danny said as he cracked his knuckles.

The Box Ghost gulped in fear. "Um, Beware?" He nervously said.

About 5 minutes later

Both of them were now on the ground, with The Box Ghost looking all beaten up.

"Had enough yet?" Danny asked with his arms crossed.

"The...pain..." The Box Ghost whined.

Danny then proceeded to suck him into the Fenton Thermos. Once done, he clasped it shut and sighed in irritation.

"You'd think he'd learned anything by now." Danny said.

Danny then put his thermos away. Seeing that the coast was clear, he changed back into his human form.

Danny sighed. "I might as well head back. Hope Mom and Dad are finished by now." He said as he walked out of the park.

A few moments later

Danny has now finally reached his neighborhood, after fighting off a few ghosts that has no sentience whatsoever. As he was only a few blocks from his house, a familiar voice called out to him.

"Hey, Danny." Was suddenly heard.

Danny turned around, and sees a redheaded girl walking up to him.

"Hey, Jazz." Danny said.

"So, how was the park, little brother?" Jazz asked.

Danny sighed. "It was...quiet. Too quiet, actually. It's kinda boring by myself, except for when ol'Boxy came by." Danny stated.

"You'd think he'd learned anything by now." Jazz deadpanned.

"That's exactly what I said." Danny said. "What about you?" He asked

Jazz sighed. "Same here. It's way too quiet for me, and it was at the library." She said.

Danny chuckled. "I guess we both got bored, huh." He said.

"Guess so." Jazz said.

They then saw a man wearing a suit across the street, walking towards an unoccupied house that has a sign with the words "FOR SALE" at one of the windows.

As the man reached the house, he then removed the sign, and replaced it with a different one that said "SOLD" before leaving the premises.

"Huh, about time somebody bought that house. It's been empty for quite a while." Jazz said.

"Well the previous owners did move out 5 months ago. Guess that means we'll be having new neighbors." Danny said.

"I wonder what kind of people will be moving there?" Jazz asked as Danny just shrugs.

They then flinched when they heard a loud explosion coming from their house's direction.

"MADDIE! GET THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER!" Was heard.

Both of them sighed in frustration when they heard it.

"Well, whoever they are, I just hope they won't mind the loud noises." He said.

"That makes two of us, little brother." Jazz said.

They then proceeded to walk towards their house.

They are completely unaware of the ones that will be moving to their neighborhood. The ones that will change Danny's life, forever.

Oh, boy.
