"Well this was nice. Thanks again for bringing us both lunch. But I am afraid I do have to get back to our hideout. You should go see your brother later since you haven't got to hang out with him for a few days." Josh says as he is sitting with Alexis on a hill under a tree as they finish eating their snacks.
"Thanks Josh. Will do. I'll be at the hideout tomorrow to help out." Alexis says as Josh stands up.
"I look forward to it as always." Josh says as he walks off as Alexis looks at her phone before seeing two shadows and looks up to see Jackie and Keun Sup.
"Hey." Keun Sup says as he and Jackie give nervous smiles as they wave slightly.
"Jackie, Keun Sup? Uh what are you doing here?" Alexis asks nervously.
"We came because we wanted to talk. We know why you left the hike early." Jackie says as he writes on his notebook and holds it up.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I told you why I left." Alexis says as she gives a slightly annoyed look.
"No you didn't. You lied." Keun Sup says as he crosses his arms.
"No I didn't." Alexis says.
"Come on Alexis. We know better than that. You're still not wanting to be around us." Keun Sup says.
"Pardon?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"Alexis everytime we try to hang out with you it always comes off as forced with you because of how you react to us. And whenever you are acting like you genuinely are happy to be around us you always bail from it and act like we did something." Jackie says as he writes on his notebook and holds it up.
"Last I recall the two of you did do something. So pardon me for being cautious." Alexis says as she glares slightly as Keun Sup and Jackie sit down.
"How do you expect us to get past this with you if you won't give us a chance?" Keun Sup asks angrily.
"I gave you a chance. I gave you two a chance when we met. I'm not the one who chose to play in fear despite a friend pleading for you to come where it's safe." Alexis says angrily.
"Alexis we want to move on from being Champions. We want to play with you like we always wanted to. Without fear or judgement. But you're the only one of us here who's being so stubborn. Why won't you trust us? Tell us what we can do and we'll do it. Just stop shutting us out!" Jackie says as he writes on his notebook and holds it up.
"Alexis do.. do you hate us over what happened that day? Do you hate us for what we did as Champions? If that's it then tell us instead of lying about how you're feeling. Tell us and we'll leave. But we're not going anywhere until you're honest with us about how you really feel. Please. As old friends we owe each other this at least. We really just want the truth. We won't be mad at you. No matter your decision. Just tell us the truth." Keun Sup says.
"Do you really want the truth?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"Yes. Please Alexis." Keun Sup says as he and Jackie nod.
"Fine. If you want to know so bad I felt betrayed that day. I felt betrayed because you come off only caring about what Xavier and the others would think instead of me who's never judged you once until then. I felt like if you really cared about me at all that you'd have fought harder for our friendship. I felt like you didn't care about our friendship. About me. I felt like some kind of play thing for you two whenever you wanted something different from routine. That I didn't matter to you." Alexis says as she looks away sadly.
"Why didn't you tell us sooner that you felt like this?" Jackie asks as he writes on his notebook and holds it up.
"You won't understand if I do." Alexis says as she sighs.
"Well we can try. Please just let us know. We can't help if we don't know. Why didn't you tell us the truth?" Keun Sup asks.
"Because I like you okay!? I've liked you both for a long time... As more than friends." Alexis says as she blushes before hiding her face in her knees and arms only for Jackie to move her knees down so she can't hide.
"Wait. So you've been hiding it because you've had crushes on us?" Keun Sup asks as Alexis gives an annoyed look.
"Why? Is it that unbelievable or funny? That a freak like me can't feel like this? That I'm just a joke to others? I don't care anymore. Not like you-mmph!" Alexis then gets cut off by Keun Sup and Jackie as Jackie kisses her on the mouth before Keun Sup kisses her on the cheek before the two pull away smirking before giving stern looks.
"Stop talking and listen to us." Keun Sup says sternly.
"But-" Alexis then gets cut off as Jackie covers her mouth with his hand and places his finger over his mouth telling her to be quiet.
"You gonna speak if Jackie removes his hand?" Keun Sup asks as Alexis shakes her head.
"You gonna let us get a word in before you start talking again?" Jackie asks as he writes on his notebook with his over hand before holding it up for Alexis to see as she nods as Jackie cautiously removes his hand from her mouth.
"Good. Now first if we ever hear you talking about yourself like that again if you think we've been overbearing about the attention we've given you as friends so far you haven't seen nothing yet if we have to prove a point to make you stop saying things like that. So don't let us hear that kind of talk again or you'll see a whole new level of overbearing attention and compliments from the two of us. And well not stop until we are certain that kind of talk won't happen again. Got it?" Keun Sup asks.
"Got it." Alexis says as she nods.
"Good girl. Next question. Is this why you've been acting so standoffish with us? And why it hurt you so badly when we had that argument with you?" Jackie asks as he writes on his notebook and holds it up.
"Yes. But I-" Alexis then gets cut off by Keun Sup.
"We're not finished. Next is why did you feel you couldn't tell us this stuff? Even if you were miffed if you'd just told us we could of worked through it sooner." Keun Sup says.
"Because I thought you'd hate me for it. Or laugh at me. And when we had our argument it really struck some nerves with those feelings. It just made me feel like you never cared at all and only saw me as a toy to play with." Alexis says sadly.
"Alexis that is not true at all." Jackie says as he writes on his notebook.
"Then why did you kiss me? Explain that then." Alexis says angrily.
"Well we..." Keun Sup says as he and Jackie give nervous looks while blushing.
"Right. Knew it. I'll see you at the creek. Hey!? Get off! Guys seriously if Omar sees this he will have a fit." Alexis says as she goes to get up only for Jackie and Keun Sup to tackle her down to prevent her from leaving.
"Let Omar try it right now. We're not going anywhere until you listen." Keun Sup says as Jackie nods.
"Thought I done did. You've made your point. Now get off." Alexis says angrily as she glares at Jackie and Keun Sup.
"Not a chance." Keun Sup says as Jackie shakes his head.
"And why not!?" Alexis asks frustratedly as she tries to get the two boys off with little success.
"Because we like you too." Jackie says as he writes on his notebook allowing Alexis to see it causing her to blush and stop struggling to get up.
"What?" Alexis asks in surprise.
"We like you." Keun Sup says as he blushes and smiles shyly.
"You're not kidding around right?" Alexis asks cautiously.
"Well as much as we'd like to proof that point by kissing you again we won't press our luck. Rather you not slap us for overstepping our boundaries." Jackie says as he writes on his notebook as Alexis reads it.
"Smart move. Now let me up." Alexis says as she gives an unamused look.
"Alright, alright. But seriously we do like you Alexis. That's not a joke I promise." Keun Sup says as he and Jackie get off Alexis before helping her up.
"Why do you think we joke around and tease you so much for? Or why we call you nicknames? You seriously didn't catch on?" Jackie asks as he writes on his notebook.
"No Jackie I did not. Would of been nice to know sooner." Alexis say as she gives an annoyed look.
"Yeah well now you know how we've felt the past couple weeks." Keun Sup says as he smiles before Alexis sighs.
"Guys I'm sorry. I was an idiot for acting like I did." Alexis says as she looks away sadly.
"Don't sweat it. We didn't exactly act the best about it either. But we always cared. We give you our word on that. Even before we were crushing on you. So are we good now?" Keun Sup asks before Alexis looks at him and Jackie and smiles.
"Yeah. We're good." Alexis says happily.
"Good. So does that mean we can get another kiss without you getting mad at us?" Keun Sup asks as he and Jackie smirk.
"Depends. You guys gonna stop beating around the bush on your feelings toward me?" Alexis asks as she smiles.
"Are you?" Jackie asks as he writes on his notebook.
"If you guys will then I will." Alexis says happily.
"Deal. So we know this pretty great arcade around the neighborhood. Interested?" Keun Sup asks as he and Jackie chuckle.
"Sure. I'll pay for the food. Drinks are on you two though." Alexis says as she smiles happily.
"Sounds good to us beautiful." Jackie says as he writes on his notebook causing Alexis to blush.
"You guys and those compliments. I swear you two find enjoyment in this." Alexis says shyly.
"Hey you got no excuse to not accept the compliments from us now that you're dating us. Besides we're just speaking the truth. But you are kinda right. We do enjoy seeing our girl blush from something we've done." Keun Sup says proudly as Jackie smiles and nods in agreement.
"You two are gonna be the end of me." Alexis says as she playfully shakes her head and smiles.
"Glad it's us then. Come on." Keun Sup says as Jackie nods before the two walk off holding hands with Alexis.
